Today’s Scripture
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ…”(2 Corinthians 2:14, NKJV)

Plan for a Comeback
God promises to always lead us into victory! That means no matter what you are facing, no matter what’s going on in the world around you, no matter what anybody says, you should always be planning for a comeback! In the middle of that adversity or tough time, start making your list of who you’re going to invite to your victory celebration. You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to celebrate what God is going to do in your life. Put some action behind your faith. That means if you’re in the hospital, start planning what you’re going to do when you get out. If you lost some money when the stock market went down, start planning your coming-out-of-debt party. When things don’t look good in the natural, remember, we serve a supernatural God. With God leading you into victory, you can always plan for increase. You can plan for restoration. You can plan for a comeback that will make you stronger and better than you ever were before!

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, I give You thanks and praise today for the promise of victory. Give me Your vision for the future so that I can move confidently into the abundant life You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
We all love winners and we always try to be one…. but the key in the verse above is the word “leads.”

For us to get into a space where we can be led has to be supernatural.   We are born goats with the nature of grand daddy Adam.  Ever owned goats?  It is a trip… especially a billy.  Obedience is no where to be found in their understanding or genes.  I could write a full book on this one from my own personal experience.  I called him B-B/Q to gently try to train him in obedience,  it did not work.   In the end the LORD sorts the sheep from the goats….????

Being led by GOD means a major dose of faith, trust, humility and obedience.   Some folks take longer than others but seems for most a life time experience to put on Christ Jesus in obedience in every area of our lives.  And that is exactly what Christ Jesus came to do.   He came to save us,  make us a new creation in HIM,  help us put our Adamic flesh nature to death and be totally filled with the Holy Spirit from top to bottom.  Then we get to boot lucifer out of the heavens and rule with HIM on earth for a 1,000 years and then we get to live with our Loving Creator for all eternity.  Lots of scriptures in this, can you find them?

I wrote a paper on this called,  “The Return of the King”  About 11 pages,  want a copy, let me know.

GIVING

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

GIVING,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”
5/23/19     (Across my desk a few days ago from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“…the righteous give generously.”  (Psalm 37:21, NIV)

Give Generously
Did you know that when you give to others in need, the Bible says it’s like giving directly to God Himself? When you step out and bless other people, you are honoring and blessing the Lord. The Scripture tells us to give our best, to give generously. In other words, stretch yourself. Go out of your way. It may be uncomfortable to walk over and pay for someone’s gas, but that’s being generous.

I encourage you today, look for ways to give generously and meet the needs of others. You can’t help everyone, but you can help someone. You can be the answer to someone’s prayers. Remember, people have many different types of needs. There may be someone who needs some encouragement. Give generously when you give that encouragement. There may be someone in your life that just needs a friend; they need some quality time. Give generously of your time and pour into that person. As you give generously to others, God will multiply those seeds in your own life in return!

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, today I am releasing every negative thing that has happened to me. I’m forgiving every person who has hurt me. I’m forgiving myself for mistakes I’ve made and releasing every disappointment so that I can live in Your peace and victory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
This topic really needs some serious consideration.   So lets start with the concept that the Church of Christ Jesus began after HIS resurrection when the apostles were gathered in the Upper Room recorded in John 20:21-29.  This is when the Apostles became Born from Above, Christians as per Rom. 10:9-10.  And after 50 days the one and only Church of Christ Jesus was started by the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.  So this was the official beginning of the New Testament or the New Will as per the book of Hebrews.

So any teaching for giving must come from the New Testament.  I have yet to find some one who can confirm tithing out of the teachings for the Church in the New Testament?   When I came to Christ Jesus for salvation in 1955 HE required for me to make HIM 100% Lord not 10%….  We have been taught the concept that we give God 10% and we get to do what we want to with the remaining 90%…  That is not a New Testament principle.  Christ Jesus is LORD of all or not LORD at all.  Salvation belongs to the faithful who make Christ Jesus LORD of all.  The New Testament teaches that if any soul be in Christ that they are a new creation.  It is a life changing event. Many try to make Christ Jesus only Savior like buying fire insurance and it does not work.

Rom.7:6 teaches us,  But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.  The New Testament teaches that what we sow we reap.  So it then giving becomes a matter of how big is your faith.   It also teaches this in 2 Cor.9: “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.  7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

So don’t allow anyone to manipulate you back under the Old Testament law,  that was fulfilled in the resurrection of Christ Jesus.  Now we walk by faith in the freedom that Christ Jesus has given us in our hearts.  So give as there is a loving Godly vision and joy in doing so.  Not one word in the New Testament about building anything or being tied to a maintenance program or supporting pastors/elders/bishops/overseers.  In the Early Church gifts and offerings went to help with evangelism and to feed the poor.  The Churches were in the homes.

Much more in the New Testament about this Freedom in GIVING but up to you.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><

VICTORY

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16,  12:24-26,  17:20-26

VICTORY,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”
5/20/19,    (on my computer this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”  (1 John 5:4, NIV)

The Word That Leads To Victory
When trials and tribulations come, as children of the Most High God, we can take courage. We have a promise that we can overcome anything that tries to come against us in this life through our faith in God. When the enemy tries to come against you with sickness, despair or lack, you can stand secure and know that God promises healing, hope and provision. God promises you victory in every area of life! God created us to be the victor, not the victim!  Don’t let your world overcome you; overcome your world by believing and confessing God’s Word today!

A Prayer for Today
“God, I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the problems and pressures of this world. Help me to instead focus on You and the plan You have for me. I pray that You help me stand secure in my faith and proclaim myself to be a conqueror-victorious in every area of life! In Jesus’ name – Amen.”

My Thoughts:
I grew up in the faith for 13 years as a Calvinist Baptist.   And there are a lot of scriptures that I had to ignore.  As in Rev.2:25-27 and 1 John 4:17 which with many other verses indicate that the Victory starts with our Salvation but we must also walk it out as per James 2:17-18 and the whole James letter.  So for me Christ Jesus paid my debts off in full and gave me a new life but that new life still needs the process of growth in the Holy Spirit of Sanctification.  God’s plan is to ultimately make me into HIS Image and likeness, which was the original vision of God to create a family like Him.   So the process of sanctification, to make Holy, in this physical world is valid and real.  Jesus, in both the form of prayer and in his prayer, John 17 prays for this to take place and it will.  When the CHURCH goes home she will be a perfect match for the King of Kings.

The only thing I have to offer to God is my faith and the desire to allow it to grow in my own life.   Job is an example.  It was recorded that he was a perfect man except for the flaw of fear.   It took a lot of pain for Job to dump the fear but in the end he was twice blessed and with no fear….  Sure, we have a standing with God by faith in Christ Jesus as LORD in our lives that lets us in the front door.  But to grow up in Christ and put on Christ, really,  is a process of leaning to walk in love,  humility and obedience.   In the ultimate family of GOD there will be no future place for unrighteousness, rebellion or pride.     So we are saved,  we are being saved and we shall be saved “if,” as Jesus taught, “If”we endure to the end.

So in the writing of the New Testament we find a lot of “conditional scriptures.” You know the little “If’s” that we find everywhere.   Jesus taught that,  “He that endures to the end shall be saved.”  And so did Paul. I know that we are living in Roman’s 8 and we have the victory, but that is ” if “ we want it and have faith for it and apply it.  As long as our faith is strong then my old man is considered or reckoned by faith to be dead.   And in the resurrection he will be completely removed.  Just as if Adam had never sinned.

But zombie that he is, Mr. Hide, my flesh  will jump out of his casket and come out again and dance with me anytime he can if I let him.    Anytime that my faith gets weak from not being fed on the Word of God.  So we actually stand completely by Faith but we can be broken off as was Israel if unbelief is allowed to flourish.  Romans 11:14-23,  Heb. 11.

So we need to hold in high esteem though the salvation that was and is a finished work of Christ Jesus.  And HE is also pulling for us that our faith will grow by saturating ourselves as HE also did with the Word of God.   We must seek continually to ingest HIM till all of us is under HIS Lordship.  1 John 4:17.  It is a full on battle with the world, the flesh and the enemy till we see HIM.  And it is accomplished in and through HIM by faith and the commitment of our free will.

Every day for me is a dying day to the lust of the eyes, flesh and pride of this world.  Paul mentioned also that he died daily.  Each day is a choice for HIS Kingdom or mine in what I do.  Whosoever will make come and drink of the waters of life freely.  With God there is no manipulation.  But HE will assist us and give us power, grace and mercy if we want to be like HIM and live with HIM.

APOSTLE

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,   Beloved of God,  Eph.4:11-16

APOSTLES,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   5/23/19   (Across my desk today and greatly needed.)
RECLAIMING Genuine APOSTOLIC ANOINTING      by J. Lee Grady

The Bible tells us there are both true and false apostles. Let's learn to discern the difference. For many years traditional denominations taught that the ministry of the apostle passed away after the New Testament era. It was assumed that the only people who served in apostolic roles were early followers of Jesus who witnessed His resurrection. Cessationists (those who believe that miracles stopped after the canon of Scripture was completed) believe that healing, deliverance, prophecy and all other supernatural phenomena ceased and that apostles are no longer necessary. But as Christians in recent years began to experience the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit, church leaders and even some theologians began to teach that the gift of apostle is vital if we hope to advance the gospel in our generation. The logic makes sense: If we still need pastors, teachers and evangelists (all part of Jesus' five-fold ministry mentioned in Ephesians 4:11), we also need the apostles and prophets who are listed in the same passage. The Bible never says these functions were discontinued. During the 1990s there was a renewed interest in the ministry of the apostle. Many books were written on the topic, explaining that the Greek word apostolos refers to God's special ambassadors, or "sent ones," who are commissioned to contend for pure doctrine, preserve unity among the saints, equip leaders, model Christian character and help the church advance into new territory. But a strange thing happened on the way to recovering genuine apostolic anointing. In true American fashion we began to merchandise it. No sooner had the first book on apostles been written that some men began to claim the title and print it on their business cards. Apostleship became a fad. Before too long, some men were creating networks of independent churches answerable to a governing apostle who took ownership of their buildings and controlled their congregations. Some charismatic apostles became mini-popes who carved out their fiefdoms. Suddenly the independent charismatic movement had more invasive authoritarianism than the denominations these pastors abandoned 10 years earlier. In some circles apostles demanded total allegiance from the leaders who were "under" them. Some required a policy of "tithing up," creating a monstrous organizational structure similar to a spiritual Amway. So-called apostles with huge "downlines" made exorbitant amounts of money. One leader even offered pastors the opportunity to become "spiritual sons" by contributing $1,000 a month to his ministry. Apostolic covering could now be bought. And apostolic grace was reduced to the level of a motivational coach. May God forgive us for reducing the value of such a precious gift. I still believe we need the apostolic anointing-and I know many wonderful apostles who have planted churches in many parts of the world. As I have watched them, and studied the life of the apostle Paul, I've seen three key truths we must reclaim today: 1. True apostles are servants. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 12:28: "And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues" (NASB, emphasis added). When carnally minded people read this verse they assume God has set up some kind of ecclesiastical hierarchy, with apostles sitting on thrones at the top. But if we view leadership in the way Jesus taught it, we know that being first is not about being on top. Apostles are at the bottom of the pecking order. They are the servants of all. And because they serve a foundational role, their work will often remain hidden in obscurity. They are not looking for fame or celebrity, nor are they grasping for a title; their role is to empower everyone else. 2. True apostles are unselfish. I know one apostle in India who goes by the name of Pastor Howell. He has planted 600 churches in the Punjab region, trained countless young church leaders in a makeshift Bible school and led thousands of people to Christ. He has also seen whole villages impacted by the gospel through one miracle of healing. He has never ridden in a limousine and he lives in a modest home with a straw roof that he shares with about 12 Bible college students. The apostle Paul would have gagged if he could see how some modern American apostles profit from their downlines or how they require pampered treatment. Apostleship has nothing to do with privilege. In fact Paul sometimes made tents for a living in order to avoid the appearance of entitlement. 3. True apostles share Christ's suffering. True apostles live on the edge. They push the boundaries of Christianity forward, into hostile territory-and as a result they encounter more than their fair share of persecution and spiritual warfare. They are never content to live in a comfort zone. Yet even in foreign prisons they find joy and fulfillment. One of my new heroes is a Nigerian pastor named Tunde Bolanta, who bases his ministry in the dangerous northern area of his country. I spent time with him last month when I was visiting England. He lives in a city where Muslims have killed pastors, maimed Christians with machetes and drowned their children in wells. For Tunde, apostleship is not about getting the best seat on a plane or having the largest TV audience. It is about teaching his congregation to remain faithful to Christ even when receiving death threats. And it is about sending his church members into difficult regions where they could face martyrdom. As our nation faces a turbulent economic crisis, I pray that we will allow the Holy Spirit to shake the greed, pride and self-centeredness out of our movement. False apostles prefer the primrose path over the Calvary road. May God grant us true apostolic anointing that is marked by New Testament courage, unquestionable integrity and Christ-like humility. -J. Lee Grady. DIVINE HEALING

Aloha Saints, Sinners, Friends and Family,

HEALING   “WORTH CONSIDERING”  5/18/19   (Over my desk, some time back from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“…And as they went, they were cured and made clean.”  (Luke 17:14, AMPC)

One time in scripture, there were ten lepers who saw Jesus. They hollered out, “Jesus! Have mercy on us and make us whole!” Jesus could have healed them right then, but instead, He asked them to do something to express their faith. He said, “Go show yourself to the Priest, and you will be made whole.”

It’s interesting that those lepers were not supposed to be around other people. They had to live in colonies because they were contagious and considered unclean. I’m sure they debated among themselves, “Do you really think we should go? I don’t look any better. It’s just going to be a waste of our time.” But they dared to put action behind their faith. They decided, “Jesus said if we go, we will be well. Let’s go. Let’s take a step of faith.” The scripture says, “As they went, they were made whole.”

So take a step of faith. Put action behind faith.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, I choose to trust in You. I choose to be obedient to You. Even when it doesn’t make sense to my natural mind, I will obey You and walk by faith. Thank You for revealing Yourself to me and healing every part of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My thoughts:
Over the years a study of mine has been on healing through the Scriptures.   As I believe the Bible to be True I often wonder why not so much healing power today?  Lepers may not be a problem today but cancer certainly is along with a lot of other deadly stuff.   So how does God’s loving healing work when there is a need?  Does HE love us the same today as in the Early Church,  I think so.   So what is shorting us out?  Faith,  Unity?  Love?  Bad Doctrine?  Holiness or all of the above  ? ????

FAITH… (Both individual and collective.)  Remember,  Faith is a matter of the heart and not the head.  Rom. 10:9-10.   You can say with your mouth,  “I really don’t believe it is going to rain,”  But in going out the door your heart picks up the umbrella.   Then you really down deep, you feel for rain…..   And Jesus did not do many mighty works in Nazareth due to their unbelief,  Matt.13:57-58.  So perhaps it is like charging a battery,  each of us have different capacities but that is OK as the Holy Spirit is a voltage regulator that matches us up in unity to accomplish what it is that the Lords wants us to do.   Remember that everyone in Acts 5:16 that came to Jerusalem to the Early Church, that had a need, was healed,  every one.  I believe we will see this again prior to the Rapture.  So Get into the Word of God and get your battery fully charged up in faith and find others that are a match and find God Unity as in John 17:20-26.   Then we will experience HIS Glory (verse 22) which John 2:11 teaches is POWER.

5/17/19
Last night at the Bible Fellowship the Holy Spirit brought to me a vision, while in group prayer, of a very long lovingly built beautiful koa outrigger canoe.   But the seats were filled with folks that had never paddled a canoe before.  Some did not know which end of the paddle to put in the water.   Several were considering the direction (bow, front) that they felt the canoe should go in.  And many knew nothing of paddling in unity,  some were even back paddling.   Several tried to take authority over the rest as to paddle in the direction that they wanted the canoe to go as per their past experiences  But a few were really waiting on the Holy Spirit for direction and power according to the word of God.  I do think we made some headway as folks got the idea that we just have to learn to work together.  But it may take some time to lovingly sort all of this out without someone’s feelings being hurt.   When the Holy Spirit starts a new work it is always a new wine in a new wine skin.  GOD’s TRUTH never changes, but how HE reveals HIS truth may be totally different.    So it is imperative that all stay very close to the Holy Spirit as HE starts to mold and join the living stones together,  Eph.4:11-16.   When the HIS CHURCH goes home,  she goes home in great power, victory and beauty.

“There is but one church (canoe) of Christ Jesus and all who love and obey HIM are members.”

PROVISION

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,   John 3:16,  12:24-26,  17:20-26

PROVISION     “WORTH CONSIDERING”
   (Received today, on my computer.)

Today’s Scripture
“And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.”   (Deuteronomy 28:2, ESV)

Handfuls On Purpose
Our God is a rewarder of those who seek Him! When you keep God first place and do your best to honor Him, the Scripture says, “His blessings will chase you down and overtake you.” That means you will come into increase, promotion and good breaks that you didn’t necessarily deserve. That’s God rewarding you for walking in His ways. We see this principle in the Old Testament with Ruth. She was out in the fields following behind the workers and gathering up the leftover wheat that they missed. She was trying to take care of her mother-in-law, Naomi, but they were barely surviving. One day, the owner of the fields, Boaz, told the workers to leave handfuls of wheat on purpose for Ruth. Ruth came into blessings that were simply dropped at her feet. Every one of us can look back and see times where God has left us handfuls on purpose—something that we didn’t deserve or even ask for. We were just provided for unexpectedly. That’s a “handful on purpose.” I encourage you to always keep your expectancy up. Keep trusting God and obeying His voice because He is ready to bless you in unexpected ways today!

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I trust You as my Provider; You are the One who cares for me. I acknowledge You with my love and thank You for leaving me “handfuls on purpose” today! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Comments:
My thoughts go to Romans 8:32 where Paul writes:
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?   And we have all heard the sage advice:  “Where GOD guides,  HE provides.”

So 1st we need to know this: Matt.6: 7″But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.  8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”  So faith is not heavy lifting.

2nd. we need to bone up is our faith,  Matt.17:20,  And Jesus said unto them, “…for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”    And so faith comes by ingesting the Word of God.  as per Rom. 10:17,  ” So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” And the basic key to having our needs met is faith as Jesus teaches us in Mark 11:23, ” For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
Of course James 4:2-3,  adds a bit of concern:   Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.   3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

So as we grow in faith and start to clearly hear the voice of God we can pray for our needs and expect GOD to provide as they are according to HIS will.   This is found in 1 John 5:13-15,  13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

So my suggestion would be to get a copy of the King James New Testament narrated by Alexander Scorby and listen to it in your car,  cell phone,  CD player at home over and over and over again.  This will help put GOD’S word in your heart where it will do some good.  It is heart faith that changes things not just our head understanding.  It is by heart faith that you get saved, sealed, empowered and can walk in the glory of God.  It is all a matter of our growth in faith.  Our heavenly Father wants us to learn how HE put the universe together along with every thing that HE made including us.  So we find ourselves in a temporary time dimension for this purpose.

Yours in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><  www.Trinity-Aloha.org.   (Past “Worth Considerings” may be found linked to our home page.)

GOSPEL

ALOHA FRIENDS AND FAMILY,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16,  12:24-26,  17:20-26

“WORTH CONSIDERING”    GOSPEL      5/17/19

A dear friend ask me to share about the meaning of the word “GOSPEL” as to it’s Biblical meaning.  So this is what happened when I sat down with the Holy Spirit at my computer.  Hope the intense meaning of this quest touches your heart as it did mine in searching for God’s Truth that sets us free.

GOSPEL:        Is an old English Word meaning GOD’S TRUTH as in:  creed, credo, dogma, belief, set of beliefs, code of belief, conviction, teaching;

tenet, maxim, article of faith, canon;
principle, precept, notion, idea, ideology, theory, thesis.

For my ThD I wrote a thesis called “Keys To The Kingdom” a copy of which can be found at www.Trinity-Aloha.org    Of course I wrote that about 20 years ago and I need to edit some of my poor attitudes out of the book.  So give me some grace if you read it.  And it would be an excellent source of future questions.  Questions are a wonderful way to both teach and learn,  Christ Jesus was exceptional at using this means in having a live interaction.

And of course,  having GOD’s TRUTH is wonderful news.   Unfortunately many have diverted that truth to build their own little ivory palaces and kingdoms.  So it is upon us to go back to the original sources and sort the baby (truth) from the bathwater (lies)…   So to the basic:  Where did we come from, Why are we here, And where are we going?

1.    Why are we here:   We are in a single life time school in the temporary dimension of time to choose between light and darkness.   We are genetically the product of fallen Adam who choose to rebel and choose the darkness and we were all born in a world full of pride, rebellion, lust and sin.  The Creator has allowed this as HE has also provided the Truth to set us free with the Prophets of old and finally with and in the Truth of Christ Jesus.  This allows for a perfect experience in the exercise of free will.  “What does not kill you makes you stronger.”   As our Creator is in the process of creating a heavenly family in HIS IMAGE and LIKENESS.  And the invitation has gone out to all.  But we must be willing to ride ourselves of our character flaws that we inherited from Adam.  We must allow the TRUTH of GOD to saturate our souls and minds to where we will cease being controlled by Adams fallen nature.  That we will learn to live in faith, humility, love, obedience and unity in this present world so as to not wreck the new heavens and earth that GOD wants to create in righteousness.

2.    So how does it work:  So God in HIS wonderful foreknowledge in eternity set in place a process of loving redemption.  In this plan we can be forgiven of our past sins and in HIS hands (so to speak) to become a new creation that is like Christ Jesus.  It is called the Gospel because it is the Truth of God given freely to us by which we can be saved from being rejected by God due to our darkness.   Moses in the beginning of Genesis tells us about redemption in Gen.3:15.  And in Gen.4:4 we see Abel already tuned in to offering a lamb for sins as per Isaiah 53 and Psalms 22.  So as the Truth of God (Gospel) unfolds we see that GOD was already at work in making it possible for us to eat of the tree of good and evil,  have a free will and be forgiven and purged and then also have access tot he tree of life for eternity.  So when we truly, 100% make Christ Jesus LORD then we are placed in a process of sanctification to remove us from the darkness of Adam and lucifer and to be made holy so as to have LIFE, PEACE AND JOY with our Creator for ever.  Otherwise our eternal soul would spend eternity alone in outer darkness for eternity. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”  2 Cor.5:21.  But it is a life time process as Jesus taught us:  “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved,”  Matt. 10:22.

3.  GOD’S ultimate intent:   Our Creator started out to make us in HIS Image and Likeness,  Gen.1:26-27, and He is still in the process of doing exactly that,  if we will submit ourselves to the process.  But HE will not violate our free will for that is the part of us that make it possible for us to learn to love HIM, ourselves and each other.  As HE is the epitome of LOVE this is an absolute essential and primary part of HIS Vision for us and our need to become a new creation in and through Christ Jesus.   And, Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you  will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ,  Phil. 1:6″  If we will accept HIS victory in our life each day as it comes and not get talked out of our faith in what Christ Jesus did for us.

Our Creator’s ultimate intent for us is found in Rev. 21:3-6:    And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.   4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.  6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

Hebrews 12:2
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Romans 8:16-18
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

I am sure there is much more that can be added to this subject but I truly hope this helps the reader to focus on the fact that this life struggle had an end in great rewards or great abandonment.  Don’t be tempted to toss in the towel, that is not an option.  Romans 8:12-39….   Please read it all,  those who want it,  already have the Victory in hand.   Yours in HIS great Love and Wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

Homeward Bound   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   5/16/19

Life’s Journey

I have a tendency to speed. It is not intentional. It is not like I set out to break the speed limit. I have what some refer to as a lead foot, and it’s only when I realize that I’m passing everyone on the road that I look at my speedometer and take my foot off the accelerator.

I’ve tried to be more aware of my speed, I’ve even taken to using the cruise control, and I realized very quickly that I do not like the cruise control function on my car. It speeds up when I think it should slow down, it doesn’t accelerate as quickly as I would like, and it all makes for a very uncomfortable experience until a few minutes later when I tap the break and disengage the function.

Many Christians are in much the same predicament spiritually speaking. They have no issues with letting Jesus take the wheel, but they still want to control the speed at which they go through life. Having control of the pedals, having control of when you speed up or how abruptly you slow down, is oftentimes the most challenging thing to surrender because there is always the opportunity to play armchair quarterback.

It’s been a while since I’ve driven with my dad. He is one of those people who not only tries to pump the breaks in the passenger seat, he reacts verbally and physically whenever he thinks I’m too close to another car, or that I’m doing something behind the wheel he disapproves of, like driving aggressively. It makes for some good comedy, especially if my brothers happen to be in the car as well, but he can’t help himself. It’s just his nature.

Most of the time we think Jesus is driving too slow. We chew our fingernails to nubs because in our mind we don’t think he is going fast enough. Our mind starts roiling, believing that such and such ought to have happened by now, and eventually, we run out of patience and we try to punch the gas.

It’s all about getting there, isn’t it? It’s about the destination, not the journey, and the sooner we get to where we’re going, the sooner we can roll up our sleeves and get to work. Jesus is busy, he’s got a lot on his plate, maybe he didn’t notice the speed at which He was driving. Perhaps we should help. That’s usually when things go sideways, and when we run into the ditch and have to claw our way out again.

It wasn’t God’s fault that you didn’t wait patiently for him to bring you your life mate and decided that the one you knew in your heart wasn’t right for you would make do after all. It wasn’t God’s fault that you didn’t wait prayerfully for Him to send you out, and you went on your own, only to return bleeding and naked like the seven sons of Sceva.

We miss out on so much in this life because we are so focused on the pit stops along the way, rather than take the entire journey in. You are not alone while you’re traveling from here to there. It is not a waste of time, it is an opportunity to grow in intimacy with God and establish a relationship.

If you’ve decided to let God take the wheel, then you must also let Him control the pedals. He knows when you need to speed up or slow down. He knows when you must be sent out, how you must be sent out so that it’s all for His glory and purpose.

With love in Christ,

AMBASSADOR

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16,  Rom.10:9-10

AMBASSADOR   “WORTH CONSIDERING”
(Across my desk 5/16/19  from Joel. )

Today’s Scripture
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us…”
(2 Corinthians 5:20, NIV)

You Are Somebody’s Miracle
God has an assignment for you that nobody else can fulfill. You are His ambassador or representative. You are a part of His divine plan. You have something to offer that nobody else can offer—your gifts, your smile, your love, your passion. It’s easy to get focused on this natural realm and all the things that we need, but do you realize that you are equipped to be somebody else’s miracle? Every single day, we have opportunities to show God’s love and compassion to others. We can meet their needs, bring them healing, and offer hope and encouragement. Every day, we can sow good seed into the lives of others that will reap an eternal harvest. Today, look for ways to be a blessing to someone else. When you step out and pour into others, God will make sure that others pour into you. Let’s continue to work together to bring Him glory and build His kingdom on earth!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for choosing me and using me. Today I surrender every area of my life to You. Show me ways to be a miracle to others so that my life brings glory to You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Comments:
It has been very easy for the “church” to purchase ministers who tell them what they would like to hear.  Rev. 3::14-22.  And at that church Christ Jesus was knocking outside the door trying to be invited into HIS own church?Paul puts it this way:    In Matt. 28: 19,  Christ Jesus commands us as follows:
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen

Paul puts it this way:     And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  2 Cor. 5:18-20

So of course we come up with the idea, well?  That is a clergy responsibility.   But obviously the Clergy alone can no get the job done.

And in John 17:20-26: Jesus prays this prayer:    Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in the.

So from the perspective of Christ Jesus we are all AMBASSADORS and responsible for sharing the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL of HIS great love to our sick and dying world.   He has placed HIS Glory in our Clay vessels.  Does a person drounding care whether one has a theological degree or not,  no,  they just want the life line.  And anyone that has a life line should be trying to help save those who are drounding in sins and trespasses and headed into a black eternity.

Will this cause persecution, you bet it will.  Paul also taught us:   Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  2 Tim.3:12  Persecution comes with being a blood washed child of God.   No persecution,  better check your doctrine.

HOW CAN YOU NOT FEEL A DEEP COMPELLING URGE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HELP THE LOST FIND WHAT YOU HAVE FOUND FOR FREE IN GOD’S LOVE.   WE TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THE GOOD PHYSICAL STUFF WE FIND FOR FREE,  EVERYONE….

OUT OF EVERY 100 SOULS YOU SEE IN COSTCO OR WALLMART OR ON A SCHOOL BUS,  JESUS TAUGHT THAT ONLY A FEW (2) OUT OF THE 100 WERE GOING TO MAKE IT INTO GOD’S KINGDOM.  THE REST WILL SPEND ETERNITY IN THE BLACKNESS OF DARKNESS FOREVER  DUE TO THERE OWN PERSONAL PREFERENCES AS THE CHILDREN OF ADAM.

BUT IF YOU HELP SOMEONE FIND THE LIGHT OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS YOU WILL HAVE MADE A FOREVER FRIEND.   THAT IS THE WORK OF AN AMBASSADOR.

Yours,  in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,    Ken<><
