THE WAY

THE WAY,     “WORTH CONSIDERING”     6/4/19    (Across my desk this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.”Psa. 37:23

Right this Way!
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord! Many people find it difficult to see themselves as “good” in the eyes of God, but did you know that in the original Greek, this word means “strong like a warrior”? In other words, when you stand strong, when you are willing to fight the good fight of faith, you are giving God something to work with. He is ordering your steps. He’s making a way when there seems to be no way. He’s clearing a path for you, and He is delighting in you. That means He is pleased with your attitude of courage. He is pleased that you are taking a stand for what is right. He is pleased that you are putting Him first place and relying completely on Him. Remember, God loves your passion for Him. He loves it when you come boldly to His throne of grace. He is honored when you stand and fight the good fight of faith. If you are facing difficulty today, know that God wants to lift you up and give you His strength. Receive it by faith today. Dig your heels in knowing that He is ordering your steps; and when God is leading you, He’s always leading you in the path of victory!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for giving me Your supernatural joy and strength. I choose to stand strong in You no matter what is going on around me. I choose Your ways and thank You for ordering my steps. I bless You and praise You for Your goodness and faithfulness in Jesus’ name. Amen

My Thoughts:
The Early Church called being a Christian (slave of Christ) the walk in “THE WAY.”   It came to mean the walk in the right way as opposed to the walk in the flesh or the wrong way.  That Jesus taught that the “WAY” to eternal life with GOD was narrow and difficult to find with many potential detours as in “Pilgrim’s Progress” by John Bunyan, (Should read if you have not.  In Early America three books were chained to the pulpit,  Foxes Book of Martyrs,  The Bible and Pilgrim’s Progress as a must read for new Christians.  But books were too expensive for the poor so they would go to church to read.)  Anyway if you are now a (real) Christian with Christ Jesus as LORD as well as savior,  you are on “The Way.” in your new path or “WAY” into GOD’s light.

So “The Way” was to learn to incorporate the teachings of Christ Jesus in our daily walk in this world as per 1 John 3:17.  Jesus taught over and over that unless we became like HIM,  ingest HIM, assimilate HIM into our daily lives we would not make it into HIS KINGDOM.  That we had to find and keep HIS commandments if we have made HIM LORD.  That we can not serve GOD and mammon (flesh) at the same time.  That we are called into redemption to be sanctified and cleansed for the use of our Heavenly Father.   Which by the way,  will also give us the greatest amount of peace and joy.  That he that does the will of the Father will abide forever.  So as we decide to go for it, go for HIS Truth and Light, then He gives us HIS Holy Spirit and some angels to give us a hand.  We can not do it alone, but in HIM we are more than conqurerers, Rom.8.   So take your very strong will by the back of the neck and find the “Way” in your New Testament, get on the “Way”and stay there.  You will be Oh so glad that you did both in this world and in the world to come.  It will be a battle but you will be on the winning side.

It was interesting for me to find out that the name of our little local area in Hawaiian,   Kealia,  means “The Way”……  Pilgtims Progress is a wonderful story about Pilgrim trying to stay on the “WAY” and great to read to kids for that special time together.

WORDS

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

WORDS        “WORTH CONSIDERING”    6/3/19      (Across my desk this morning from Joel,  excellent.)

Today’s Scripture
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”  (John 15:7, NIV)

Remain
In life we all have ups and downs. There are seasons that are more difficult than others, seasons of testing, trials, and temptation where our character is being developed and our faith in God is being strengthened. Sometimes it can feel like you are taking two steps forward and then three steps backward. But if we’re not careful, we’ll start thinking that life is always going to be this way. Even in the strong seasons, you’ll start looking for things to go wrong.

If you are controlled by your circumstances, if you’re up when things are up and down when things don’t go your way, life is going to be a roller coaster. God’s plan is for you to be stable, consistent, not moved by any of these things. Jesus said, “I am the vine. You are the branches. If you abide in Me, you will bear much fruit and your fruit will remain.” The word “remain” means “to be fixed, immovable, not affected by circumstances.” If you will just keep abiding in Him, just keep meditating on His Word, He’ll bring you through. He’ll make you strong; He’ll keep you stable, and you’ll keep moving forward into the life of blessing He has prepared for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, today I set my heart and mind on You knowing that You are good and faithful. I trust that as I seek You and put You first, You will direct my steps. I choose to remain in You and follow Your leading in everything I do in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Today’s scripture has some very deep meaning.   What does it mean to “Remain in Jesus and to be obedient to HIS teachings?”  For most new Christians there is very little change from making Jesus, Savior.   They are told that they are now OK. Come to church and pay your tithes and all is well.  Let’s take a look at the Amplified Bible, “7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.   Notice a little more understanding as to what Jesus is saying?  Here is HIS John 17 Prayer and the life time sanctification factor with heart faith.  Is it not a wonder that our prayers get answered at all.  Jesus is telling us that we must change and become like HIM for our prayers to be answered for sure.   Paul puts it this way in Rom. 8.13, “For if you live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify (put to death) the deeds of the body, ye shall live (have God’s life.)”

So the words out of Peter’s 1st sermon on Pentecost began with “Repent.”   Cut loose your old attitudes and ways of doing things.  If you are in Christ you are a new creation,  the old is passing away and the new life is before you.  If Christ Jesus in now your LORD,  MASTER then it is very needful to find out how we are to serve HIM.  Jesus said,  “He that hath my commandments and keeps them loves HIM.   And whoever loves HIM will be loved of The Heavenly Father.  That is one of the reasons I keep posting:

“There is but one CHURCH of Christ Jesus and all who love and obey HIM are members.
And any Elder that is really Anointed of the Holy Spirit will try to help you do exactly that.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

TONGUES

TONGUES     “WORTH CONSIDERING”   6/2/19  (Long but worth the time.)

In the Sunday’s liberal newspaper of West Hawaii Today there was this cartoon,  “DILBERT”  Such good thought went in the the humor of that cartoon I could not help but laugh and it got me started on this subject.  Most of us have fallen into the trap of “coloring” the truth a little or lie as the case may be.  It is interesting that the Bible has a lot to share about telling the truth.   Abraham got into trouble, David got into trouble and of course Peter was not to be left out for lying.

Of course the Big Ten commands us not to lie…  But sometimes we skid around the corners when we ask someone how they are feeling when we really don’t care.  Or we tell them fine when we are dying of cancer and have a few weeks to live.  Or we listen and nod yes while we are totally thinking about something else.  Including church, business, activities or home,  I am not sure that I know of any one who is really totally truthful.  Personally I am trying to think ahead about what I am about to say now with a filter or check of truth before I speak and so it would seem I am not talking as much as I use to.  Of course the Bible says to be quick to listen and slow to speak, anyway.

As the Christ, is also named the WORD of GOD would mean that our Creator has a great deal of concern about the power of what is said.  In Proverbs 18:21 it is said this way, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”  In fact it is our heart confession by tongue that Christ Jesus becomes our LORD and part of getting saved from the eternal hell of outer darkness.  We are instructed to keep our communications simple: James 5:12 “Rather let your “Yes” be · yes and your “No,” no, so that you may not fall under judgment.”  The seventh deadly sin is of the tongue in Prov. 6:19,  “A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.  James 3:4-6 tells us about his experiences,  “4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.  5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!  6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.  and goes on from there,  need to read the whole chapter 3, several times.  And James concludes with the beautiful wisdom: ” 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (acting or lying.)  18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

It is my supposition that tongues is listed in the gifts of the Spirit as most difficult to control.  As we bring our tongue under the obedience of Christ Jesus then as per the Holy Scriptures,  HE give HIS Holy Spirit to them who Obey Him and we receive the empowering of the Holy Spirit and a prayer language.   There is a big difference between speaking out of the resources of our heads or speaking as anointed by the Holy Spirit.   Our head speech can take up valuable time, miss opportunities and take communications off course from what the Holy Spirit want to do and where HE want to go.   When we speak as moved by the Holy Spirit there is mercy, good fruits, peace and Christ Jesus is lifted up.  As a gathering comes into unity where the Holy Spirit is in charge folks are saved, empowered, delivered and healed  and the power of the HOLY SPIRIT is obvious and draws all souls unto Jesus.   But with Head or worldly flesh speech it draws people into lifting up the speaker and there is little power.   Pride speech can confuse a gathering and waste valuable time.  And Holy Spirit Speech is always full of the exceptional use of Holy Scripture.

Tongues was one of the 1st major curses that GOD placed on planet earth due to pride and rebellion.  You can read about it in Gen.11:6-7 and notice that they were using their unified tongue in a negative way to be like GOD.  So we are challenged in John 17 by our LORD, CHRIST JESUS to find UNITY in God’s Loving Truth,  speak the same thing and bring the world back for HIM.   Adam gave the world to Lucifer,  we, as the Church in Christ Jesus,  get to take it back and return it to Christ Jesus and our Heavenly Father. This is all of God’s eternal vision for us in allowing us to learn how to use our free will in obedience.   This will also make us ready to learn how to live in HIS Eternal Kingdom and timeless dimension.  And of course, this is up to us wanting it.  All that remains for us to do is to say yes to HIS light and HE will assist us in finding our way to HIS HOME and OURS.

So experiencing the empowering of the Holy Spirit with a prayer language is just the beginning in exploring all of the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit.  A gift is received and given it is not a ministry.  As HIS Church we are invited to explore and reach out for all 9 gifts of the Spirit.  But the call to a given ministry, Eph. 4:11,  is a totally different issue in the Holy Spirit.  But if the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit are in place then the world get to Christ Jesus, high and lifted up.  The Elders are there to help teach and keep HIS CHURCH from wild fire.  The demonic counterfeits that look spiritual but are not.

So we by faith come to Christ Jesus as LORD to begin the walk of salvation as we follow the light that we see in the creation and the the Holy Scriptures.  We then by faith bury our flesh inheritance from old man Adam in baptism;  then we can ask and received the empowering of the Holy Spirit as we come into humility and obedience to the Holy Spirit, Lk.11:9-13.  Every True Believer should know this 3 fold experience foundationally.  This begins the process of sanctification to help us become like Jesus.   And it is not how we start that counts but how we end up at our final graduation.  James 1:12  Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.  2 Tim. 4:6-8, 6 (Paul) For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

So we, through the knowledge of the WORD of GOD and the Holy Spirit learn to speak for GOD : ” … he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.” 1 Cor 14:3 or  “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine, 2 Tim.4:2.  And carefully study, 1 Cor.14: whole chapter (23-33):   23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?  24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:  25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.  26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.  27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.  30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

This is not an easy study and I am totally open to helping if I can.  But it is imperative that you assimilate this basic information if you would like to spend eternity with GOD in heaven.

Yours, In HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

FOUNDATIONS

MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT 6/1/19   (FOUNDATIONS)
(To gather and build UP the Body of Christ.)

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT:,   Gal.5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT:,  1 Cor.12:  7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.  8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of  knowledge by the same Spirit;  9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation  of tongues:  11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

MINISTRIES OF THE SPIRIT:
DEACONS:  Acts 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

1 Tim. 3:8-13:8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to  much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre  9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure  conscience.  10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a  deacon, being found blameless.  11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers,  sober, faithful in all things.  12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling  their children and their own houses well.13 For they that have used the office of a  deacon will purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

ELDERS:  Eph.4:  11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,             evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the   measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

So the above are the basic building blocks for the Church of Christ Jesus.  First we come into the fruit of the Spirit which is the personality of Christ Jesus and learn to put on Christ, to ingest HIM and to become like HIM.   Then the gifts of the Spirit start to flow as needed to build up the basket to be able to collect the spiritual babies that the Holy Spirit wants to help grow up.  And then out of the gifts ministries begin to take form so as to provide the Holy Spirit with a 5 fingered spiritual glove to put on so HE can touch the world for Christ Jesus and bring those interested in the light to Christ Jesus and eventually weave them into the eternal family of God.

Holy Spirit ministry:

I was asked in my e-mail what about this stuff of being , “SLAIN IN THE SPIRIT” So let dig a little in the Holy Scriptures and see if we can get a “True” picture of this event.

First off, there are always lying counterfeits of what ever the Holy Spirit does and sometime the show is totally bogus and the Holy Spirit is not even there at all but the show goes on.  So you will need to become discerning if and when you are baptized and empowered by the Holy Spirit to learn to know the difference.  Like tongues without a valid interpretation in a church gathering Apostle Paul says not to do, 1 Cor.14.   And if the prophets share a message from God it is perfectly OK to publically judge it as to the value and what was of the Holy Spirit and perhaps what was not..

The fist time that the power of God is demonstrated in Holy Scripture is in Gen.2:21 where God put Adam to sleep and created Eve to assist him and to keep him from being lonely.

The next time that I remember from the Old Testament is when the Tabernacle of Moses. In Psalm133, 1 Kings 8:11, 2 Chronicles 5:14    So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

When the Jewish Elders came to arrest Jesus was a time but before that time Jesus clearly tells us that HE is the Christ, the Word of God, the I AM that gave Moses the 10 commandments and delivered Israel from Egypt as in Mark 14:62, John 8:24 (the he is not in the Greek.), John 8:58.
John 9:16.  In John 18:4-6 we see that when HIS divinity is exposed it is like with Aaron in the Tabernacle.  4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?  5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I AM ( he, not in the Greek).  And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.  6
As soon then as he had said unto them, I AM, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

So it is not unusual at all when Spirit filled believers gather together in the Holy Spirit for this to happen as the power of the Holy Spirit is manifested.  It can also happen to folks who are demonized and in need of deliverance.  But easy to tell the difference by just looking at the face.  In my ministry in the revivals of the 70’s this empowering was nearly always present in our gatherings as the Holy Spirit would take over the gathering and we all became that silk glove that HE could use to touch those there with a new birth, empowering, healing, deliverance and/or the simple love of Christ Jesus to affirm their unity with the King of Kings and turn up the love a bit.

So this supernatural presence of the Holy Spirit greatly increases everyone’s faith.  But it has to be real in the Holy Spirit and I say this due to the phony displays where people are pushed over but feel nothing.  And just go down because they think they are supposed to…  I have seen this happen even to large crowds where I was the only one still standing up when everyone else sat down…  Mass hypnoses,  I think?  But if it is the Holy Spirit, you will go down on the ground and come to later feeling much better, much lighter and a whole lot closer to our LORD.  It has never happened to me but then I have been boiler plated to do what the LORD has called me to do.
Hope this helps in your Spiritual Growth,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org  (More later.)

INHERITANCE

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

INHERITANCE     “WORTH CONSIDERING”
5/31/19    (over my desk this evening from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“A good mans leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and goodness] to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up.”  (Proverbs 13:22, AMPC)

He Brings Treasures to the Righteous
Did you know there are resources and blessings laid up for the righteous? There are funds that will eventually be transferred over into the hands of the people who will use them for God’s purposes. In the Scripture, God is called “the Lord of the Sabbath.” That means He is “the God who puts His armor on and goes to war against those who hold His treasure from His purposes.” Just imagine God getting His armor on and going into the forces of darkness and saying, “Okay, I’ll take those funds. I need them for My children. I’ll take these businesses, these ideas, these contracts. They have My children’s names on them.” Friends, God is fighting your battles for you. He has immeasurable favor that He is going to transfer into the hands of the righteous. The key is to make sure you’re in the righteous group. Make sure you are honoring God with your life and keeping your heart pure. Let go of any weights or any sins that are holding you back. As long as you stay in faith and live righteously before Him, God has promised abundance.

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, thank You for fighting my battles. Help me to keep my heart pure so that I honor you with my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!”

My thoughts:
This one from Joel ? got a knee jerk from me….   I have a big family and I am 86 now so way past the actuary tables.  What happened with several people in my family,  Mother,  Wife, Aunt and such makes me sorta uncomfortable with distributions.  I was minister at a funeral one time when the family of the rich man could hardly wait for the casket to be pushed off the boat for a burial at sea so they could get home to the stuff.  Stuff really tends to bring out the Mr. Hide in folks.  Sometimes it is really difficult to see where an inheritance will really help someone.  Most now have no concept of save now and buy later and pay no interest.  Or knowing the difference between needs and wants.   With most hard earned savings,  when it is distributed it is gone in less than a year.  And mostly for stuff that does not help the Kingdom of God at all.

So take care with this one as you will need the Holy Spirit to give you real direction.  If you have an estate to leave behind for distribution at your graduation be sure and give your trustee or executor some really good detailed notes as to your intentions.  Sometimes even leaving funds to a local church ends up in new carpets or cushions for the pews and does little or nothing for HIS KINGDOM. So it seems to me it takes about as much wisdom to give anything away as it did to secure it.  Greed and Covetousness are such elusive enemies.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><    www.Trinity-Aloha.org

JEZEBEL SPIRIT

JEZEBEL SPIRIT
How Jezebel Plays a Role in 60 Percent of Divorces, By Dr. Michael Brown Every generation has faced sexual temptation and engaged in sexual sin, says author and national radio host Dr. Michael Brown, and there is nothing new about it.
But what is new is the technology that makes sexual temptation ubiquitous.
“By ‘ubiquitous,’ I mean anywhere, anytime, with almost anyone, doing virtually anything,” Brown writes in his soon-to-be-released book, Jezebel’s War with America: The Plot to Destroy Our Country and What We Can Do to Turn the Tide. “It’s all there, fully accessible, and only one click—or tap—away. No generation in history has ever had to deal with sexual temptation at this level. It is nothing less than the sexual seduction of America—and the nations.”
In Jezebel’s War with America, Brown writes specifically about “the most wicked woman in the Word of God”—Jezebel—and how her demonic spirit is not only alive today but waging a war against America and the American church, especially by way of sexual immorality.
Get Spirit-filled content delivered right to your inbox! Click here to subscribe to our newsletter.
“There is nothing new about sexual immorality,” Brown writes. “It has been here throughout human history, which is why the Bible frequently addresses sexual sin. One of the Ten Commandments states, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ Jesus warned that sexual immorality could damn us to hell. Paul placed sexual sin at the beginning of his lists of moral prohibitions. And the last chapter of the book of Revelation tells us that the sexually immoral will not enter God’s eternal city.”
And yet, despite the biblical warnings, sexuality immorality, and namely the extremely high incidence of pornography, has permeated the American culture. It’s Jezebel’s spirit at work, Brown says.
“You don’t have to subscribe to a pornographic magazine,” Brown says. “You don’t have to go to a seedy part of your city to find a porn theater. All you need is a computer. Or tablet. Or cell phone. And within seconds, you have access to more sexual material than all previous generations combined. And this is not just something teenagers and adults are confronted with.”
For instance, he says, consider how this generation has been flooded with porn through these facts, outlined in Jezebel’s War with America.
One parenting website reports: According to recent data, 90% of young men age 18 have been exposed to pornography—much of which is hard-core (meaning it often involves violence and overtly explicit imagery). Of the 90%, the average age these young men were sexualized by pornography was between 8-11 years old. Similarly, 60% of young women by the age of 18 have been exposed to porn as well. Almost 80% of this exposure, which isn’t always voluntary, is happening in the perceived safety of their homes.     Divorce lawyers and others have indicated that porn plays a role in around 60% of divorces.     “Porn sites receive more regular traffic than Netflix, Amazon and Twitter combined each month.”     “35% of all internet downloads are porn-related.”     “34% of internet users have been exposed to unwanted porn via ads, pop-ups, etc.”     “People who admit to having extramarital affairs were over 300% more likely to admit consuming porn than those who have never had an affair.”     “At least 30% of all data transferred across the internet is porn-related.”
To put this in context, Brown adds, in December 2017, it was reported that an average of 197 million users visited Amazon.com, and 127 million visited Walmart.com each month. Yet a leading pornography site draws 125 million visitors per day, with roughly 5 million adult videos uploaded to the site in 2018 alone—enough for 115 years of continual viewing.
“What deadly, often unnoticed, side effects,” Brown says. “This is an epidemic of porn. In Jezebel’s War with America, Brown also explains how the forces of radical feminism come together with the extreme pro-abortion movement, among other spiritual and cultural forces, in an attempt to destroy America.
Brown’s eye-opening book not only unveils the satanic plot to destroy America, beginning with an all-out assault on the church, but it will equip believers with tools to defeat the enemy in their own personal lives as well as in the nation. Jezebel’s War with America reveals how the spirit of Jezebel is at work in the 21st century through sexual immorality, abortion, radical feminism and even the fascination with witchcraft and sorcery, and equips readers to defeat the spirit of Jezebel on a personal and national level.
Dr. Michael L. Brown is founder and president of AskDrBrown Ministries and president of FIRE School of Ministry. STRANGE FIRE

STRANGE FIRE,   “WORTH CONSIDEDRING”  5/30/19
1. Deadly visitations. In some charismatic circles today, people are claiming to have spiritual experiences that involve communication with the dead. One Michigan pastor told me last week that some church leaders he knows promote this bizarre practice and base it on Jesus’ experience on the Mount of Transfiguration. The logic is that since Jesus talked to Moses and Elijah on the day He was glorified, this gives us permission to talk to dead Christians and our dead relatives.
Although little is said about these experiences from the pulpit (since the average believer is not ready to handle this “new revelation”), people in some streams of the prophetic movement are claiming to have visitations from Aimee Semple McPherson, William Branham, John Wimber or various Bible characters. And we are expected to say, “Ooooooo, that’s so deep” – and then go looking for our own mystical, beyond-the-grave epiphany.
That is creepy. Communication with the dead was strictly forbidden in the Old Testament (see Deut. 18:11), and there is nothing in the New that indicates the rules were changed. Those who seek counsel from the dead – whether through mediums and séances or in “prophetic visions” – are taking a dangerous step toward demonization.
2. Ecstatic rapture. Not long after ecstasy became known as a recreational drug, someone in our movement got the bright idea to promote spiritual ecstasy as a form of legitimate worship. The concept evolved from “spiritual drunkenness” to the current fad in which people gather at church altars and pretend to shoot needles in their arms for a “spiritual high.” Some preachers today are encouraging people to “toke the Holy Ghost” – a reference to smoking marijuana.
I hate to be a party pooper, but the Bible warns us to “be of sound judgment and sober spirit” (1 Pet. 4:7). There is plenty of freedom and joy in the Holy Spirit; we don’t have to quench it by introducing people to pagan revelry. Christian worship is not about losing control. Those who worship Jesus do it “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24), and our love for God is not measured by how violently we shake or how many times we fall on the floor.
Recently I told a friend in Pennsylvania that when people get tired of this drug imagery it won’t be long before we see some Christians having sexual experiences at the altar. “It’s already happening,” my friend said. He described a recent “worship concert” in which one of the musicians simulated sex while stroking a microphone and whispering sensual phrases to Jesus. What is next – orgasmic worship? God help us.
3. Angels among us. Angels have always played a vital role in the life of the church. They are “ministering spirits” sent to protect, guide and strengthen believers (Heb. 1:14). But suddenly angels have become the rage in some segments of our movement. People are claiming to see them everywhere, and often the stories don’t line up with the Word of God.
During the Lakeland Revival last year in Florida, a man from Germany took the stage and claimed that an angel walked into a restaurant while he was eating a hamburger, took his intestines out and replaced them with a gold substance. Others have testified that angels took them to heaven and operated on them. And many are claiming that angels are dropping feathers, gold dust and precious gems on worshippers.
I know God can do anything. He can make an iron axe head float, hide a coin in a fish’s mouth and use a little boy’s lunch to feed a multitude. Those were genuine miracles that He can still do today. But we still have to use caution here. There are counterfeits. If we promote a false miracle or a false angel in the Lord’s house, we are participating in strange fire.
I know of a case where a man was caught planting fake jewels on the floor of a church. He told his friends he was “seeding the room” to lift the people’s faith. I know of others who have been caught putting gold glitter on themselves in a restroom and then running back in a church service, only to claim that God was blessing them with this special favor. Where is the fear of God when Christians would actually fabricate a miracle?
This is a time for all true believers with backbones to draw clear lines between what is godly worship and what is pagan practice. We want the miracles of God, but we also want the fear and reverence of God. We cannot allow this strange fire to spread unchecked. ~ J. Lee Grady

YESTERDAY

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,   John 3:16,   12:24-25,  17:20-26

YESTERDAY,    ‘WORTH CONSIDERING’   5/30/19   (Across my desk this morning…)

Today’s Scripture
“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead…”  (Phil. 3:13)

Failure Is Not Final
Are you down on yourself today because of past mistakes you’ve made or because you’re not where you want to be in life? God knows every poor choice, every difficulty, every wrong turn you may have made, and He’s already planned your comeback! In Scripture, the prophet Jonah took a detour, so to speak. It took him a little bit longer, but because he called out to God, because he believed, God not only rescued him, but God got him to his final destination.  (And a city was saved from destruction.)

Friend, know today that failure is not final. God always has the final say. Mistakes don’t have to keep you from your destiny. God’s plan can override every setback. Your world may be in turmoil today in a relationship, in your finances or health. But know this: not only will God rescue you, He will set your feet on a rock and lead you to your final destination in life. Remember, the promise He placed on the inside of you didn’t go away because you had some personal failures. No, that failure is only temporary, but His Word remains forever! Keep hoping, keep believing because He will move you into the blessing and victory He has prepared for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, thank You for Your hand of victory and blessing that is on my life. Today, I shake off the past, I shake off failure, I shake off poor choices and trust that You are restoring me and leading me into the plan You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen!”

My thoughts:
Exceptional concept and to go a step further to consider the futility of living today or tomorrow within the fears, stresses and failures of yesterday.  Sure, we can learn good lessons on what not to do from our past, the whole pain system in our body reflects that learning potential.  But that is not the same as picking up an attitude about someone or a place and letting that obsession shut down any future good changes in that area.  That is called guilt by association or similarity.  A painful X anything can deep 6 another X look a like if we let it.   That is why Christ Jesus taught us that GOD’s forgiveness was predicated or subject to us forgiving others for their past including forgiving ourselves.  Our Creator has made it possible for us to start fresh each new day as the first day of the rest of our lives.  He has told us in 1 John 1:9-10, that if we are transparent about our mistakes (sins) and ask HIS forgiveness that HE would forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Repent is a huge word through the whole Bible.  God’s purpose is to save us and give us a whole new life with Him if we will humble ourselves and ask for HIS help.  So dragging around the past will only put us into deep depressions and be a total waste of that time in our lives.  It can totally destroy all of your tomorrows.  So for the freedom that we would like to walk in we must first give it also to others in helping them to be released from the past.  You know the verse:  What you sow, is what you will reap.  Want other to forgive and forget your failures,  then guess what?  You will need to forgive theirs as well.  What goes around, comes around.  God made it that way so we would learn and grow.  It is a universal cosmic law in balance.  But if we don’t listen and grow, then our final placement in eternity will be extremely uncomfortable.

You know,  The Bible teaches that when we come to our Heavenly Father in the name of Christ Jesus and ask for HIS forgiveness not only does HE forgive us but HE removed the sin from HIS memory as far as he east from the west,  to never be remembered again,  Psalms 103:12,  the whole chapter is on the forgiveness that we can enjoy if we have enough humility to make Christ Jesus our LORD  & Savior (King, Boss, Ruler) keep HIS commandments and have a heart of love and forgiveness for all others.

Yours in HIS great love and wonderful forgiveness and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org   Please put our little beginning “House Church” on your prayer list, if you will?  We are having faith to start a very hot Holy Spirit fire in this very local area of Kealia,  South Kona, Hawaii.

Election/Free Will

Aloha Friends and Family,
It appears that my GrandSon,  Rev. Riley Fraas,  has my mailing list?  My apology,   My thoughts to him were as follows:

Aloha Riley,
OK… Stuck on Page 16…  of your Book,  “Chosen To Be Holy”

Of course,  SEEMS your point of view of Predestination and election are totally disconnected from Foreknowledge, Free-Will and Love.     ( LOVE can not exist without Free Will.)  So you have erased Rom. 8:29, 1 Peter 1:2 and Acts 2:22 and you can not do that.  If you are going to proof text anything you have to use all of the scriptures on the subject:  You have come from a Calvinist camp that excludes all the “conditional” scriptures from their doctrine.  The New Testament is absolutely packed with conditional scriptures that indicate that we are totally responsible in our eternal choice of light or darkness.  We are born headed for hell and the grave as the children of Adam.  But our Creator has made a way of escape for us in Christ Jesus if we want it.  1 John 1:17  An “IF” Conditional Verse of hundreds concerning free will.

As I wrote you before,  Our Creator, in HIS dimension of Eternity,  knew from the beginning who would be seeking HIS light or not and has made our access to HIM and light possible in HIS predestination.  But we are now locked in the dimension of time and do not have that knowledge,  1 Cor.13.  So if we have an interest in the light by our free will then we can work out our salvation with faith and expectancy by God’s grace.   “Whosoever will, may come and drink of the waters of life freely.” Rev.22:17 by Christ Jesus.

Another scripture concerning the use of Foreknowledge:  Acts 2:22

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:  23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:  24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.   (lucifer only had the right to kill sinners at that time.)

So again, your doctrine must be inclusive of the free will, love and the foreknowledge of God of knowing what choices we would make and weaving them into HIS final Vision of creating an eternal family.   I was offended by your use of my mailing list without my permission.     Perhaps you will send my thought out on your list as well?     Love you much,  GDad<><

More on the subject:

https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionaries/bakers-evangelical-dictionary/foreknowledge.html

“Calvin states no less dogmatically than Luther that foreknowledge leaves no room whatsoever for free will. Period. We are astonished that Calvin repeatedly makes fallacious, unbiblical statements; and doubly astounded that so many leading evangelicals continue to praise him for being so logical and such a great exegete.

If God cannot know by His foreknowledge what every person will think and do by their free will, then He is not God. Moreover, the fact that God is able to allow man freedom of choice while still effecting His eternal purposes unhindered is all the more glorifying to His sovereign wisdom, power, and foreknowledge.

What is future to us may not be future to God: He sees not only our past but our present and future as already having happened. From this understanding, God’s knowledge of what in our experience hasn’t yet happened would have no effect upon its occurrence and therefore would leave us free to choose.

Even Augustine (known as the father of modern Catholicism), whom both Calvin and Luther admired, clearly affirmed that there is no incompatibility between God’s absolute sovereignty and foreknowledge and man’s free will:

Therefore we are by no means compelled, either, retaining the prescience of God to take away the freedom of the will, or, retaining the freedom of the will, to deny that He is prescient of future things, which is impious. But we… faithfully and sincerely confess both.

Dear Friends, Brothers, and Sisters,

I have just released a study guide on Ephesians. It is now available for order in paperback and e-book. It consists of 13 lessons on Ephesians with about 12 review questions after each. Also included is an answer key and a new translation of Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians. The intent of this book is for it to be a comprehensive resource for group study.

It is also available in a large print paperback format. If you do read it, I’d like to know what you think.

I thought you would like to know. Be blessed, Friends, Brothers, and Sisters!

grace and peace in Christ,

Riley Fraas
