GIFTS & GRACE,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   4/28/20,    From   Ken<><

Today’s Scripture      (In my e basket this morning from Texas.)
“…Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?…”  (John 6:9, NIV)

Truly Fulfilled
In today’s Scripture, a little boy had a sack lunch—five loaves of bread and two fish. Nothing much. Yet when thousands of people were hungry, Jesus took his lunch, multiplied it, and fed the whole crowd. Think about the boy’s mother who made the lunch. She was a homemaker raising a child without a title or acclaim. But titles don’t bring fulfillment. Keeping up with your neighbors doesn’t bring happiness. Trying to impress your friends will make your life miserable, but understanding your assignment and being comfortable with who God made you to be are what bring true fulfillment.

Don’t discount the gift God has given you. Are you secure enough to play the role that God has given you? Are you comfortable enough to not have to be number one, to have the title, to keep up with others? The beauty of our God is that He has given every one of us a specific gift and purpose.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that the gifts You have given me are custom-made. Thank You that You have matched me for what You want me to do, and I have exactly what I need to fulfill Your plan for my life. I declare that I am content with my assignment. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts,
So we are considering obedience here.   By the scripture concerning the boy, seems that he must have offered his 2 fish and 5 small loaves as concerning the need in obedience to the Holy Spirit.  Most may have thought, “They came without food? Their Problem!”    The unnamed boy must have been caught up by the concern of the disciples of Jesus concerning the need and off hand confessed, “ I have a little.”  But obvious to all not nearly enough.

It is about here that we usually pack our little lunch and find something else to do.  Let someone else feed the world or try to save the lost.  We only have enough for ourselves.  If God loves them then HE can feed and save them.   I have my favorite show to watch tonight and I have had a hard day trying to get others to do what they ought to do.  I have my own issues and my own security and my own comfort zone to be concerned about.  See ya latter….

But then there is the grace of God that works by faith that we need to learn more about.  I can remember back at Lighthouse Ranch that one evening more hippies showed up for our free dinner than we had ever seen before.  We were in a corner, not near enough food…  We said, OK LORD, the rest is up to you, we will feed till it is all gone and prayed.  Guess what, we also had left over stew the next day.  But this was a ministry of believers that were of one mind and one spirit and we only used the New Testament for our Spiritual Manuel.  And it worked.  Just like John 17:20-26.   We had done all that we knew to do.   Free non-saleable from Safeway produce, Beef at  .15 cent a # neck bones as butcher did not like to take the time to extract the beef.  Gov. surplus flour and butter.   Free day old bread from a bakery.   70+ people were fed for less than about $15.  All we had to do was to collect it for the 6 PM meal time and invite those who came to enjoy our 7PM Fellowship as per 1 Cor.14:26-33 & Eph.4:11-16… simple following the pattern given to Moses as followed by the Early Church in Acts 2:37-47.  A casual walk through the tabernacle in the wilderness.  Church is not a theater as we normally do today which is very safe.  But it was a forum which is explosive and like popcorn, you never know what is going to happen.  You simply try to keep up with and flow in the Holy Spirit.  No gathering is ever the same.   I had to repent one time for jumping track to my little flock, and the meeting ended in bringing a hard headed Jew to repentance and making Jesus LORD.  When the Holy Spirit is in charge there is much joy, peace, excitement and power flowing during the time of the gathering.  I can remember folks coming a 5 PM as to not miss anything and gathering lasting till 3 AM as very few wanted to go home.  It is time to put the Holy Spirit back in charge of the LORD’s CHURCH as that is HIS ministry and what HE was supposed to do.  We have reorganized HIS Church to be both safe and boring.  And we have modified HIS Truth to be more acceptable to us.  The darkness is getting much darker but Praise The Lord, HIS LIGHT is getting much brighter.  Want to enjoy living with the Creator?  Better do some really good time checking out your doctrine in your Bible, especially concerning leadership & structure.  It is not top down authority, it is bottom up,   Like with Jesus…

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,    Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

There is but one Church of Christ Jesus now and forever,
And all who truly love and obey Jesus are members.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mind set as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!  Phil. 2:5-8

“I can’t help but see a parallel in which our Heavenly Father is disciplining His children whom He loves. It seems to me that our Abba (Dad) has sent us to our room to re-evaluate our attitude and behavior, and hopefully to read and meditate on His Book in a quiet time separated from the world and our normal frantic activities.  He’s giving us time to re-evaluate our lives, draw near to Him, seek and pray to Him to better understand the serious times in which we’re living, and prepare…for what we’re called to do for the Kingdom in the coming days. The US Congressional Budget Office (CBO) predicted on Friday that, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, America’s deficit will reach $3.7 trillion this year, Politico reports. The CBO also said that unemployment will rise to 16 percent in 2020, before going to down to 9.5 percent by the end of 2021.  A new report of a respected U.S. researcher concludes that more Americans believe in Satan than belief in God. George Barna, whose work is based at the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, also writes: “Tens of millions of Americans consider themselves to be Christian but do not believe that God is really in control or cares what happens to them.”  worthybrief@worthynetwork.com

FREEDOM OF GOD TRUTH,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”   4/27/20   from:   Ken<><

Today’s Scripture   (Found in my emails, this morning from Texas.)
“…Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you…”  (Luke 10:19, ESV)

You Have the Authority
If God be for you, who dare be against you? Quit telling yourself, “I’ll always struggle in this area. I’ll never lose this weight. I’ll never get out of debt.” Change your perspective. You are not weak, defeated, or inferior. You are full of “can do” power. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives inside you. Tap into that power. Greater is He that’s in you than he that comes against you. You are more than a conqueror.

Now start putting things under your feet. Think of that word tread in today’s Scripture. One translation says “to trample.” God has not only put it under your feet, but He has armed you with authority and strength to be victorious. He has already equipped you. If you will see these obstacles as being under your feet, as being already defeated, a new boldness will rise up. Your faith will activate God’s power in a new way.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You have given me power to tread on all the power of the enemy because Your Spirit lives in me. I believe that I can look down in faith and see my obstacles as being stepping stones to take me higher. I am more than a conqueror. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
OK, Now we have an issue here, Jesus said this expressly to HIS disciples and Paul proved it was true in being bitten by a poison snake with no negative results.  But then we have snake handlers in Kentucky trying to prove this verse for themselves and some die.  The issue here is the difference between the Logos and Rhema of God the head knowledge and heart faith in the Holy Spirit coming together.  It is not enough to know the truth of God in our minds but to be effective it must be activated by the Holy Spirit or anointing of God through real faith in the heart.  God’s Truth and God’s Grace must flow together for the supernatural to be experienced.  So to enjoy the victory of Romans 8 and Luke 10:19 in humility and obedience we must also be walking in the Spirit of God and be guided by HIM.  In some cases we will be guided to avoid the serpent and in other cases we will kill the serpent but it is up to the Holy Spirit to guide us through those times when we walk through the “Valley of the Shadow of Death.”  Many time in my life, even prior to becoming a Christian, the Holy Spirit saved me from death due to the absolute foreknowledge of God..  Might make an interesting little book.  Also twice in ministry I was seriously threatened with death and the Holy Spirit gave me the words to say and it did not happen.  But the key for me was to stay in humility and obedience to the Holy Spirit and not try to go it alone in my pride of being able or knowing how to take care of myself..

So I truly do hope that you learn to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and stay out of trouble but in today’s world, if you live Godly in Christ Jesus,  please do expect to be persecuted.  Even in your own home.  If you are not under persecution, something is wrong.  5 times in the New Testament it is mentioned that those who have the humility to speak God’s word will not be received, especially in their own homes.   There is a joke running around with some truth to it that a prophet is only acknowledged when he is at least 50 miles from home.  This was true of Jesus and it can be true for you and me in our own families.  Most of my family seems to think that I have become a religious nut.  Some have even asked to not be on my mailing list.  But back to the Subject you must first know the Word of God as God will to not violate the words of HIS that HE has spoken through HIS prophets.  Jesus even used the words of Moses to defeat the devil on the Mount of Temptation.  And HE taught us the the Word of God’s Prophets can not be broken.  “Jesus answered them,   “Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;  36 say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?  John 10:34-36.   Remember now, Adam was and still is recorded as a Son of God in Luke 3:38.    The only difference between Adam and Jesus was that Adam was made, Jesus was begotten as also the “Son of Man”.  Adam rebelled but Jesus was totally obedient even to the very painful death of Crucifixion.  We have been blessed with a very temporary life on planet earth to decide whether we will follow Adam or Jesus.  Our decision will be eternal with no opportunity to change our mind on the other side of that final and ultimate eternal door.

If you carefully read through John, Acts and Romans you will easily find the core thoughts of the whole Bible, the bones, if you will.  But the read can not be superficial, you must carefully consider each of the thoughts of John, Luke and Paul as to what they were meaning by what they were given by the Holy Spirit to share with you.  And if you have any questions, I would be very happy to try to help.   Not that I know it all, I don’t.  But I have been seeking God’s truth for more years than most of you have been alive.   And it is so easy to be caught up in this worlds greed, lust and power trips.  I was never a hippy and never took drugs but I sure learned a lot from them that was practical.  Especially, that “Life consists not in the abundance of things but by GOD’s Holy Truth.  Many Hippies were totally seeking God’s Truth and many found it in the 60-70’s revival of the Holy Spirit.

Then He said to them, “Watch out and guard yourselves against every form of greed; for not even when one has an overflowing abundance does his life consist of nor is it derived from his possessions.  16 Then He told them a parable, saying, “There was a rich man whose land was very fertile and productive. 17 And he began thinking to himself, ‘What shall I do, since I have no place [large enough in which] to store my crops?’ 18 Then he said, ‘This is what I will do: I will tear down my storehouses and build larger ones, and I will store all my grain and my goods there. 19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many good things stored up, [enough] for many years; rest and relax, eat, drink and be merry (celebrate continually).”’ 20 But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own all the things you have prepared?’  Luke 12:14-24.

FREEDOM,     “WORHT CONSIDERING”   4/24/20   from Ken<><

Today’s Scripture
“…to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment…”
(1 Timothy 6:17, NIV)

Enjoy the Simple Things
Don’t miss a great season in your life wishing you had more, complaining about what you don’t have. The real joy in life is in the simple things—making memories with your family, riding your bikes together, watching the sunset with your spouse, or staring up at the stars at night. You don’t have to have big vacations or lots of money to have fun. Learn to enjoy the simple things in life.

Could it be that you’re at the right place for the season that you’re in, but you’re not enjoying it? Maybe if you would step back and see it from a new perspective, you would realize that God has you in the palms of His hands. He knows where you are, what you like, and what you don’t like. Instead of living discontented, frustrated, always wishing you were somewhere else, embrace the place where you are. See the good. Be grateful for what you have.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for being the God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Help me find real joy in the beauty of this moment and in life’s simple things. I declare that I will embrace the place where I am and be grateful for what I have. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
Really a great message today to consider.   When we walk with the Holy Spirit in loving humility and obedience we are promised to be provided for with all of our needs according to the Riches and Glory in Christ Jesus.  And that HE would see to it that we are never without food and shelter.  The problem comes when we expect God’s blessing when we are in sin and disobedient.  We quickly forget that our Creator has in place an immutable Law of sowing and reaping.  In Isa. 53 we see Jesus, the Christ, setting us free from the sins of Adam and the ones that we repent for.  But if we still lie. covet, and are prideful in this world in our words and actions, how then can God bless?  In the past I have had to counsel with a pregnant young woman who was very repentant.  But 9 months later there was a brand new soul to take care of anyway..  I once made a 15 minute decision that took 17 years of pain to account for.  And a difficult lesson to learn, for me, anyway.  Jesus taught us that God’s Truth, HIS Truth was given to set us free.  Free to be whole of Spirit and free of rebellion and pride and anger and negative thoughts, words and actions.   But the lies of this world are so very many and presented in such a deceitful way.  I once was driving from L.A. to San Diego and along the way you can rarely see the beautiful country for the really big bill boards.  There is one I remember passing that had a warm fireplace scene with a lovely lady in black velvet about 20′ tall next to an vintage round oak table.  The only words on the whole billboard were the words: “Black Velvet on the bottle of whisky besider her on the table with two glasses.  The lie, buy the whisky, you can have the girl.  Guess it sold a lot of whisky as it was a very expensive billboard.  My personal experience with whisky is that those who bought that lie, paid a lot more than money for the pain and suffering that settled in from it over the years.  The concept of buy now, pay later that I see in auto publicity is such a big scam.  And our world is full of demonic scams like that which will in no time at all try to snare you into a net and keep you captive till you life is over.  In the O.T. Isa. 61 share with us God’s promised provision.  And in Luke 4:18-21 we find the fulfillment.   ““The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah),  Because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor.  He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives,  And recovery of sight to the blind,  To set free those who are oppressed (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy), I like to add to this 1 Cor.1:16-31   “Just look at your own calling, believers; not many [of you were considered] wise according to human standards, not many powerful or influential, not many of high and noble birth. 27 But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty]. 28 God has selected [for His purpose] the insignificant (base) things of the world, and the things that are despised and treated with contempt, [even] the things that are nothing, so that He might reduce to nothing the things that are, 29 so that no one may [be able to] boast in the presence of God. 30 But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God [revealing His plan of salvation], and righteousness [making us acceptable to God], and sanctification [making us holy and setting us apart for God], and redemption [providing our ransom from the penalty for sin], 31 so then, as it is written [in Scripture], “He who boasts and glories, let him boast and glory in the Lord.”

GREAT QUOTES on HOLINESS
“There will be no great Revival until the people of God are deeply convicted of their need of holiness.”   -MAJOR ALLISTAIRE SMITH (Salvation Army).
“A God-sent Revival must ever be related to holiness”   – Duncan Campbell.
“That such widespread misunderstanding should exist about the word (sanctification) and its meaning, is a spiritual disaster. If there is one New Testament term more than another which calls for rescue it is that precious, expressive word, Sanctification.”   -Sidlow Baxter.
“Believers must be brought into conviction of the shame and evil of the carnal state. God brings believers  into, what may be called, a second conviction – conviction of a need of deliverance from the power of sin.”  – ANDREW MURRAY.
“True holiness is a Revival of Holiness. Personal holiness is more desirable than happiness, he (Duncan Campbell) taught, and it is not in heaven alone that God wants our saintliness – it is here and now; holiness is not just a doctrine to be taught, it is a way of life – it is the life of Jesus.” – DUNCAN CAMPBELL.
“God Who delivers us from the guilt of sin through faith in Jesus Christ, is able to deliver the believer from the power of sin as well.” – J. EDWIN ORR.

U.S. unemployment is nearing levels of the Great Depression of the 1930s, with one in 6 Americans of working age out of a job as the coronavirus pandemic essentially shut down the economy. About 4.4 million Americans filed for unemployment insurance last week alone, reported the U.S. Labor Department on Thursday.    worthybrief@worthynetwork.com

VISION  OF  GOD,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    4/23/20    From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture   (In my emails this morning from Texas.)
“…Here comes that dreamer!” they said to each other…”  (Genesis 37:19, NIV)

Protect Your Dream
As a young man, God gave Joseph a dream that one day his parents and his brothers would bow down before him. Joseph should have used more wisdom and not told them about his dream. Some people can’t handle what God has put inside you. They won’t celebrate you; rather, as Joseph’s brothers did, they’ll get jealous of you and start finding fault.

When you have a dream, you’re going to have some detractors. Sometimes the people closest to you will be the least supportive. When you believe that you can overcome an illness, pay off your house, or be successful in spite of past mistakes, some people will become jealous and try to make you look bad or try to talk you out of it. Don’t try to prove who you are or convince them to believe in you. You don’t need their approval. You have Almighty God’s approval. You wouldn’t have that opposition if you didn’t have something great in you.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You’ve put my dream in my heart. Help me to remember that doesn’t mean it’s going to come to pass without opposition, delays, and adversaries. I believe that I am moving forward with Your approval, and that’s all I need. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts,
The scripture quickly comes to mind: “Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained;  But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God].  Prov. 39:18,
In the original purpose (vision) of God as found concerning you and me we find these thoughts, “Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Word, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.” Gen. 1:27   So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.  And seems to me what God envisions must eventually come to pass.  We also find this same vision with Christ Jesus in Hebrews: “[looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].” Heb.12:2

And were the rubber meats the road we see that in God’s Vision    That it is in accepting God’s vision and great promises as heart valid that we begin to walk out HIS vision for us.  Paul confirms this in a letter, “Therefore, since we have these [great and wonderful] promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, completing holiness [living a consecrated life—a life set apart for God’s purpose] in the fear of God.” 2 Cor. 7:1

Peter shares it this way: “For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire, and become sharers of the divine nature 2 Peter 1:4 and further: “For this very reason, applying your diligence [to the divine promises, make every effort] in [exercising] your faith to, develop moral excellence, and in moral excellence, knowledge (insight, understanding),

But if we do not take the time to really find and consider the promises of God, how can we find the faith to walk them out.  If we make life in this world more important than the Truth of God’s Kingdom then where will we place our time and energy.

So of the promises that make my spiritual clock tick are as follows:

God has and will provide everything that I need to become like HIM if I want to go for it.  That I can have here now every thing that was given to Christ Jesus to have an overcoming victory if I will only have heart faith for it.  Head faith only has hope, heart faith is to know without doubt.

That my Creator God has a vision of helping  me, through Christ Jesus become like HIM and be family.  And I need to find others of the same debt of heart faith and join with them to become like HIM, Eph.4:11-16.

That like Christ Jesus my Kingdom in Christ Jesus and HIS church is not of this world.  That HIS Kingdom is real and eternal and this world it temporary, John 12:24-26

And that God’s Truth in Christ Jesus will cause many, even family members to be divided and rupture relationships.  Especially as God’s light gets brighter and the darkness gets darker.  Souls who love the darkness of this world, like Cain, will try to extinguish the light if at all possible.

In John 17, John records this one only prayer in our New Testament.  The prayers if for our UNITY.   One of the verses (22) in the Prayer was very enlightening for me:   20 “I do not pray for these alone [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for [all] those who [will ever] believe and trust in Me through their message, 21 that they all may be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe [without any doubt] that You sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given to Me [as Your gift to Me], may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

VICTORY

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,  Beloved of God and me,   John 3:16-18

VICTORY   “WORTH CONSIDERING”     4/22/20   From,   Ken<><

Today’s Scripture   (Found in my e-mail box, this morning from Texas.)
“…When the builders completed the foundation of the Temple, the priests…blew their trumpets; and…crashed their cymbals to praise the Lord…singing this song: “He is good, and his love and mercy toward Israel will last forever…”  (Ezra 3:10–11, TLB)

Celebrate Partial Victories
The Israelites had a dream to rebuild the temple. It was a huge task. After much work and frustration, they finally finished the foundation. They hadn’t even started the walls, yet they had a huge party. They could have said, “Forget it. We’re never going to finish,” but instead, they celebrated the small victory.

We all have things in our life that are incomplete. We’ve made some progress, but the dream hasn’t come to pass, a problem hasn’t turned around. Too often we wait for the total victory to celebrate. “When I get out of debt, I’ll be grateful.” But the key to seeing it come to fulfillment is to not let its completion hold your thanksgiving hostage. Celebrate partial victories along the way. When you pay off one credit card, celebrate what God has done. When you pass the test of being grateful for the small things, He’ll release big things in your life—more favor, more healing, more strength.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and love and mercy in my life. Thank You for the partial victories that You have given me, and I know that You are working to bring them to completion. Help me continue to be grateful and see every promise fulfilled. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
It is my understanding that the “Church” of Christ Jesus, Makes herself ready and goes home in the Glory, Blessings, Victory and and the Power of God.  So what we have happening around us with covid-19 may be the beginning of process of bringing that refinement to pass.   People are now held hostage at home, considering, what is this all about?  Families are forced to take a new look at their lives and to decide what is really important.  No job, bills, rents, payments, food and the kids are home for at least another 4 months…

But for us Christians (real Christians) our loving Creator God has promised us a way out, a way of escape.  Hope you pray and take the time to find it.    And that HE would like us to use the time to draw closer to HIM.  A time to begin a New Testament House Church in your home beginning with our immediate family.  Interested?   Find my book,, “Keys To The Kingdom” a link on our homepage at: www.Trinity-Aloha.org.  You can do it, and God will bless you for it.  There is a verse in the Bible that teaches us,            “satan meant it for evil but God used it for Good. “

So seems to me we are headed into the birth pains of Matt.24, Mark 13 & Luke 21 as what Luke called “The End of the Age of the Gentiles.”  Luke 21:24,  Found in Dan.8:12-14, 12:11.

THE LORD TEACHES ABOUT HIS RETURN
Matt 24 & 25

One of the first prophesies of Jesus Christ in this regard  has been rather misunderstood…Jesus as a Rabbinical Teacher would first share with HIS disciples what they are about to learn as an introduction.  He  would then break down the teaching as to the questions that were asked.  And for the last He would teach on that which was to be remembered as the most important, Matt.24 & 25 is a prophetic teaching similar to The Revelation given to John, it is not chronological.

Jesus begins this revelation with an overview.  The first question that was needed for that generation.  It was the warning of the destruction of the Temple by Titus in 70 AD.  Due to this prophesy the Christians escaped the destruction of Jerusalem.  The next was about the end of the age and was answered to Armageddon.   And  HIS final teaching concerned HIS return for HIS Church.  Most everything important to us fits into these last two answers.   HIS First Prophesy and answer was fulfilled exactly as HE prophesied in 70 AD:  “Not one stone would be left standing on another (of the Temple).”   The Temple cedar roof system in Jerusalem was covered with gold leaf, when burned the Gold melted down in between the stones.  Titus had the Temple stones removed to recover the gold.  And in 70 AD the persecutions of the Jews after that time, by Rome, became extreme.

Matt: 24:1-3….   The Questions
Matt. 24:4-14….   The Introduction or overview.
Matt. 24:15-20…   Warnings about Jerusalem and Titus in 70 AD…  Temple Destruction.    Matt. 24:21-36…    More details for the “End of The Age”  Armageddon.  (Includes Rapture)
Matt. 24:37-51 and Chapter 25…   Teaches in detail about of the Rapture or Translation of the Church (Rapture) and being ready… Our LORD was using Noah’s departure as similar in nature to HIS Return for HIS CHURCH.  Noah lived in a time of  false peace  just before he and family were saved from the destruction of that lawless civilization.  The false peace of the N.W.O. comes prior to the Rapture but will not exist during the 7 yr. Great Tribulation of Subjugation, World Domination, Slavery and Final Judgment of God   But in a time of false peace, Matt.24:40-41 our Lord is obviously considering the Rapture or Translation of HIS Church.  And Christ Jesus spends the rest of chapter 24 and all of chapter 25 making sure that HIS Church would know to be awake for HIS return in the clouds for our new life.

THE   RAPTURE   EVENT
(Snatching Away) IS NOT A NEW IDEA for HIS Church.
It appears that the Pre-Tribulation Rapture was a teaching in sermons found back before 306 AD. by Ephraem of Nesibis  306 – 373 AD,   Wilheim Bowset 376-411,   Caspari 565-627,  Alexander,  Isidor 636, and of course John Darby 1830.  For more information on this subject:’  http://www.grantjeffrey.com/article/examining_an_ancient.htm    It would appear that as it was required for Israel to again become a  nation prior to the Rapture.     So seems there was a total lack of interest in the subject till 1948.

FREEDOM

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,  Beloved in God and me,    John 3:16-18

FREEDOM,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   4/21/20   from Ken<><

Today’s Scripture     (In my emails this morning from Texas.)
“…Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom…”  (2 Corinthians 3:17, NIV)

Live in Freedom
If you’re always thinking about something negative that happened yesterday, last month, last year, there’s no freedom there. That’s where the Spirit of the Lord was. This is a new day. Quit living in what was and come over into what is. Right now there is freedom, joy, peace, and restoration for you. Right now there are new beginnings. Remaining upset and offended about what happened yesterday doesn’t bring freedom. Living in regret of what you should have done or what could have been doesn’t do anything productive. It’s time to drop it and move forward. You may be a product of your past, but you don’t have to be a prisoner of your past. God already knew every hurt, every loss, and every mistake you would go through. The good news is that for every setback, He’s already arranged a comeback; for every disappointment, a new beginning; for every failure, restoration; for all the ashes, He has beauty. Live in freedom.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that Your Spirit is working in my life and bringing me into freedom. Thank You that I can make a clear break with the past and enter into new beginnings. I declare that I am leaving behind what was and coming over into what is. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
There is great truth in today’s message.  But due to our habits and programing in Adam it somewhat difficult to do.  So much of who we believe ourselves to be is in the reflection that we get from others.  And our little ego is primed with pride by holding on to old issues that make some one else look bad and us look good.  And to let them go means we might just get hurt again and again.  But the sludge that we maintain about others also causes our plumbing to be full of sludge. as well.  So harboring poisons about others and even ourselves is really very deadly for us and also for our immune system.  I talk to folks who are livid with anger concerning Trump to the place of wanting to kill him.  And they know nothing personal about him as to the real truth or not at all.  They only know what has been feed to them at the table where they prefer to eat.  The Bible teaches that we should honor those who should be honored and to pray for them.  That our kingdom is really not of this world and to not get tied up in the bondages of this world.  That our lives are really hid in Christ Jesus and we are only pilgrims passing through.  And we were not created to carry all of that extra junk.

If we take the long view, the Eternal View, then the things of this world will not change our direction.  Straight and Narrow is the way that leads to Eternal Life, Jesus taught, and few there be that find it.  So guard against the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life from up ending you into bondage.  Every thing that concerns sin in the New Testament the enemy has advocated in lovely pictures in gold plated frames and causes a loss of freedom.  Taste is good in the mouth but quickly turns to poison in the belly.  What ever sin that rings your bell the most is where you are going to be tempted the most.  And also potentially may have the best victory.   It is amazing as I look over my life and see that same sin, over and over, causing me to loose my freedom and bringing me into bondage.  I won’t go into details here on a personal level but if you give yourself a personal report card you will find it the same.  Seems like we should eventually come to know better?   But until we get the overview from God as to how HE feels about it and really see it to be sin we tend to be permissive.  And we get trashed by it, very painfully, over and over again.  Take a memory tour, and you will see where your weaknesses are.  And in Christ Jesus we can eventually find that those areas of weakness have been made super strong in the Holy Spirit like a broken bone that when mended is much stronger than the original design.

Who by faith [that is, with an enduring trust in God and His promises] subdued kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promised blessings, closed the mouths of lions, 34 extinguished the power of [raging] fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became mighty and unbeatable in battle, putting enemy forces to flight. 35 Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured [to death], refusing to accept release [offered on the condition of denying their faith], so that they would be resurrected to a better life; Heb.11:33-35 AMP
but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.  2 Cor. 12:9 AMP
So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength].  2 Cor.12:10 AMP

Verse for the day:
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”   John 10   (However, it is still possible for the lies of sin to cause us to loose faith and to leave. Heb.6:4-12.)

News in Brief:
A South Carolina federal judge has awarded an atheist group over $450,000 in attorney’s fees and expenses after it filed a lawsuit to block public prayer at high school graduations, Christian Headlines reports. The award follows a finding last year that there should be limits to student-led prayers at graduation ceremonies. Given on April 14, the award is in respect of legal action initiated by the American Humanist Association (AHA) against Greenville County Schools in 2013. The suit was on behalf of the parents of a pupil who objected to students leading prayer at a graduation ceremony.   worthybrief@worthynetwork.com   Getting really crazy out there…

ANOINTING

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,  Beloved of God and me,    John 3:16

ANOINTING,       “WORTH CONSIDERING”     4/17/20    From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture     (Found in my emails this morning.)
“…Touch not my anointed ones…”  (Psalm 105:15, ESV)

The Power of the Blessing
You are God’s anointed. When people come against you, they’re also coming against the God who put the blessing on you. The good news is, you don’t have to fight those battles. Don’t try to do it in your own strength. You have a defender. Stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord. The people and circumstances you’re up against may seem bigger and more powerful, but stay in peace. The blessing on you is greater than what’s trying to stop you.

The Scripture says that what God has blessed, no man can curse. The blessing on you is more powerful than any betrayal, than any negative word spoken over you, than people trying to discredit you. Nobody can take that blessing from you. That means you are blessed no matter what people or circumstances say. Here’s the key: the blessing did not come from people, so it cannot be taken away by people.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the anointing You have put on my life. Thank You that no one can take that blessing from me, and it is greater than whatever tries to stop me. I believe the blessing is going to take me further than I’ve imagined. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
So how do we know who is anointed and who is not?   And how do we know if we are anointed or not?  In my experience over the years I have seen many extroverts with great personalities and very little or no anointing at all.  So how do we tell the difference?   Well first off, you can’t unless you know the Holy Scriptures in context that have been given to us by the Holy Spirit.  Even in the Old Testament Jesus was able to use the words of Moses to get the victory over lucifer at the Mount of Temptation.

In reading a really great book today I came across a chapter that felt a little funny to me.  Not a clear yes or now but a hummmm, let look into to that one.  The author is a good man and probably right but it was a new thought and needed more focus on my part to check it out.  Did not cause a serious issue with Christian Biblical essentials, but love to further consider.  I wonder how many so called Christians today even know what the Biblical essentials are.  So many denominations today and cults seem to be putting words into God’s mouth.   And teaching fiction for God’s Truth and building big gatherings in the process.

So if you want to view a study on essentials that I did long ago try out www.CCCInt.org and click onto the link, doctrine.  Long ago I put this web site together for fishing in the liturgical pond.   The site looks Orthodox or Catholic but the doctrine is all Biblical with no traditions.

We are here for a life time to find out if we want to live in the coming Kingdom of God and if we do to spend the time needed to understand our new Kingdom Constitution.  And after understanding to want to go there in thought, word and deed and lean on the Holy Spirit for the grace that we need to deal with those deep sins in our lives.  If we are not agressively seek to know and implement the Truth of God in our lives the old habits will be right there in our boredom to try to get us back in our old rut and doing the old habits of darkness all over again..

For it would have been better for them not to have [personally] known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to have turned back from the holy commandment [verbally] handed on to them. 22 The thing spoken of in the true proverb has happened to them, “The dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A sow is washed only to wallow [again] in the mire.” 1 Pet.2:21

For [it is impossible to restore to repentance] those who have once been enlightened [spiritually] and who have [a]tasted and consciously experienced the heavenly gift and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted and consciously experienced the good word of God and the powers of the age (world) to come, 6 [b]and then have fallen away—it is impossible to bring them back again to repentance, since they again nail the Son of God on the cross [for as far as they are concerned, they are treating the death of Christ as if they were not saved by it], and are holding Him up again to public disgrace.  Heb. 6: 4-7.

So our Creator has blessed us with writing down HIS thought to keep us headed in the right direction if we will take the time to find HIS Truth and to apply what we find.  Also the obedient are anointed and powerful in Christ Jesus.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderdful grace and mercy,   Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org

Interesting  notes:
U.S. President Donald Trump has told governors that some could begin reopening their states by May 1 or earlier if they wanted despite ongoing coronavirus infections, according to audio recordings distributed Thursday.

The results of a new survey published on Monday show nearly half of adult Americans believe the Bible should influence laws, the Christian Post reports. Carried out by the Pew Research Center, the survey found 49% of respondents think the Bible should have “some” or a “great deal” of influence on national legislation. Of these, 28% thought the Bible should have precedence over the will of the people.  worthybrief@worthynetwork.com

FOREKNOWLEDGE

Aloha Family & Friends,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16 -18

FOREKNOWLEDGE,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   4/16/20    From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture   (In my emails from Texas this morning,  really an important read.)
“.Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.” Prov.19:21

Pushed into Our Purpose
Sometimes God will let us be uncomfortable for a dark, difficult period so He can bless us later on. He’ll close a door, which we don’t like, but later on He’ll open a bigger door. God is not as concerned about our comfort as He is about our purpose. There are times when He will shake things up to force us to change. His goal is not to make our life miserable; He’s pushing us into our purpose.

Not every closed door is a bad thing. If God had not shut that door, we would have been satisfied to stay where we were. Not every time a person walks away from us is a tragedy. God knows we won’t move forward without a push. You have too much potential, too much talent, too much in you to get stuck where you are. He’ll put you in situations that make you stretch, make you grow, make you spread your wings.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You know what’s best for me, and You’re pushing, stretching, and enlarging me for a reason. Thank You for closed doors as well as open doors. I believe that You have something bigger, something better, something more rewarding up in front of me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
A lot of DEEP  theology in this note today.  Much of it has to do with our limited understanding of foreknowledge, Rom.8:29.   Is God’s foreknowledge limited or is it absolute?  The Bible teaches that God’s foreknowledge is  absolute.  So like an architect building a skyscraper HE knew exactly what HE was going to build long before HE converted the first bit of energy into matter.  He knew what lucifer would do with freewill and what Adam would do and how that Jesus would clean up the mess and still allow for us all to have an UN-manipulated  freewill to make a personal decision between The Light and The Darkness. And also be able to LOVE.   He knew what you would do before you were created including the use of your own free will.  And HE gave every soul that HE created the same freewill options of choice so all are accoutable.  He even answered our prayers before we knew to pray them. From God’s point of view there is no doubt at all as to which souls are HIS Elect from HIS perspective in HIS dimension of Eternity.  But from our point of view in our dimension of Time, we are working it out in absolute freewill.   And our point of reference at death will be eternal for all.  We are passing through time as a pilgrim just once and after this the judgment.   So in reality eternal life is all about finding the promises of God and in learning and keeping HIS commandments.  And surprising,  they are very good for us and our happiness to help us walk through our lives in love,  peace and joy as well.  You and I are absolutely free to do what ever,  no strings attached.

So starting with John the Baptist we find an open door for those who want to change from being the children of Adam to becoming the children of GOD.  It is a wonderful story of faith and shows us how our Creator God even six thousands years ago was making a way for those who would be interested in walking in light, John 17:20-21.  Even to the end of our time dimension our loving Creator God is encouraging us to come to HIM, Rev. 18:4 and 22:17 So if you don’t make it, it was your choice.  Nothing was ordained,  everything God created includes freewill so we are free and able to love and we are also totally responsible for the decisions that we make in our lifetime.

The Invitation:
John 1:36-39 And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he says, Behold the Lamb of God! And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, What do you seek? They said to Him, Rabbi (which is called, being translated, Teacher), where do you live? He says to them, Come and see. They came and saw where He lived, and stayed with Him that day, for it was about the tenth hour.  As Yeshua (Jesus) was about to begin his ministry, many were listening intently to John the Baptist as He declared, “Behold the Lamb of God!” [John 1:36]. Some of those listening to John were intrigued with the man he was pointing to, and they followed Yeshua. So He turned and questioned them, “What do you seek?”  “What do you seek?” Sounds like such a simple question…but isn’t it actually the most significant question of our lives? What are we truly seeking? Their response, “Where do you live?” says, “We want to know more about you now…” I love Yeshua’s response … “Come and see.” It was an invitation into an intriguing relationship and what a relationship it would be! These young men were about to become disciples of the Son of God. Could they have had any idea what that would mean? The small step of faith to follow him, discover his whereabouts, without knowing anything of what it would involve, the small step of faith…..but they were seeking Him.  Passover has ended, and we who have found our “Passover Lamb”, recognizing Yeshua, the Lamb of God, are we much different from the disciples who curiously followed Him, not having a clue what awaited them when He said, “Come and see!”

So simple if you want to be in Heaven as one of God’s Kids you are going to need to consider the way you live that proves your love of HIS light is true.   So you can not be an actor or a hypocrite about it in living for yourself and pretending your are really living for the Kingdom of God, Truth & Light.  You are either of the family of Adam or of the family of Christ Jesus.  There is no middle ground.  John 12:24-26

STUFF,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   4/15/20     From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture      (Across my emails this morning from Texas.)
“…Those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing.”  (Psalm 34:10, NLT)

Lacking Nothing
So often we think, If I had more money and more talent, I could do something great. If I had a bigger house, I’d be happy. But as long as you feel as though you don’t have enough, you’ll make excuses to be less than your best. You have to get a new perspective. God has given you exactly what you need for the season you’re in. You have the talent, the friends, the connections, the resources, and the experience you need for right now.

Psalm 34 says that because your trust is in the Lord, He will make sure you have whatever you need when you need it. You won’t “lack any good thing.” This means that if you don’t have it right now, you don’t need it right now. Our attitude should be, “I’m equipped, empowered, and anointed for this moment. I am not lacking, shortchanged, inadequate, missing out, or less than. I have what I need for today.”

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the assurance that You have provided me with exactly what I need for the season I am in. I believe that You have equipped and empowered me with every good thing right now, and You will keep providing for me as I need it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
Actually I picked up this expression along the way, long ago.  “Where God guides, HE provides.  The problem that I had when having difficulties with my finances, as I look back, was that I thought what I was doing, was actually my decision.  It was something I was doing because I wanted to or that I thought it was the right thing to do at the time.  And when it bombed out, I wanted to make God responsible for my decisions.  A big ego will do that, you know.   Back in 1976 or so I took every things that I had saved up, about $400K and invested it into an acre with restaurant, disco and 25 apt. units for the purpose of a ministry and church.  All of the leaders in the ministry thought it was a great idea.  Just one guy, that I remember, an old German friend, bee keeper, came to me personally before I bought it and told me it was not of the LORD.  I should have listened, he was right and before it was over the ministry was destroyed and the funds were stolen when the property was sold.  I ended up broke and taking jobs as a finish carpenter to feed my family way up a winding dirt road above Kailua Kona.  It seems so right but totally burned out myself and a lot of good people who really loved the LORD.  We kept the restaurant open 24 hours a day and could just make the bills each month.  But the stuff got totally in the way of what the Lord wanted to do with us.  We all took a wrong turn in the road and the Holy Spirit allowed us to see we were on our own road all by ourselves.  So why did not God love us and pick up the pieces.  Obviously, the blessings go with those who are in humility and obedience  God can not bless our mistakes or HE would violate our negative freewill choices and our ability to learn by our mistakes.  Humility and obedience brings blessing where pride and disobediencc brings destruction.  It was a very expensive but profound lesson in humility and obedience that I chose to learn about in a very painful way.

So part of lacking no good thing is included in knowing and trusting in the LORD.   This includes the factor of humility and obedience.   Now on the back side of all that I went through in 1979, the Lord has been faithful in teaching me more about stuff.  That life is not about the stuff but about every word that proceeds from GOD.  If I had carefully studied the New Testament I could have avoided the loss.  There is not one mention in the New Testament about collecting for a building or about building a building or buying a building as I did.  Now I am not saying we should take all the church buildings down.   But to realize that when a building program is conceived and started that the gifts and offerings are then diverted from evangelism and helping the poor to buying boards and stuff for our Traditional Church comfort zone.  If fact we have made the building. our “Church Theater Tradition.”  The Early Church in homes was an informal interactive forum.  1 Cor. 14:16-33  It required the quick training and mentoring of many pastors to do this.   This is very difficult to do in our theater mode looking at the back of heads.  And the Early Church grew very fast due to the use of small house church ministries and borrowing of larger places for gathering when needed for larger gatherings.  As for me personally, I will never again support a building called a church.  As the word church in the Greek is the name for the people, the fellowship.  Christ Jesus taught that if even 2 or 3 would get together in HIS name that HE would be there in the Holy Spirit.  That we could come together for church with others any time and in any place and HE would be there.  So all the people on earth that are called by HIS name really make up HIS Church, no buildings involved.   That there is but one eternal Church of Christ Jesus and all who truly LOVE & OBEY HIM are the members.   And if you truly trust in the LORD with your whole heart that HE will supply all of your needs according to HIS RICHES and GLORY in Christ Jesus is my experience.

But I have received everything in full and more; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent me. They are the fragrant aroma of an offering, an acceptable sacrifice which God welcomes and in which He delights. 19 And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 To our God and Father be the glory [a] forever and ever. Amen.  Phil. 4:18-20 AMP

So we see here that the Holy Spirit touched Epaphroditus to help support Paul’s ministry and due to his obedience Epaproditus could expect Christ Jesus to liberally fulfill his needs.  Sowing and Reaping, an immutable cosmic law of God.  A dear brother, Episcopal Priest, once shared with me out of his frustrations: “My church is a collection of God’s chosen frozen dedicated to the preservation of the stuff.”  They were sitting of five acres of very expensive land with a church building that held about 100 souls and their basic concern had sifted to,   how do we pay the bills.

Then He said to them, “Watch out and guard yourselves against every form of greed; for not even when one has an overflowing abundance does his life consist of nor is it derived from his possessions.”  Luke 12:15 AMP

Today’s Scripture      (In my email this morning from Texas.)
“…But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”  (Exodus 3:11, NIV)

There’s Something Amazing about You
So often we look at others and think, Wow, they are so amazing, and I’m so ordinary. They’re so smart, and I’m so average. She’s so beautiful, but I’m so plain. While it’s true that they may be amazing in certain areas, you have to realize there’s something amazing about you as well. You are talented, you are attractive, and you have been fearfully and wonderfully made. While God wants us to celebrate others, He wants you to be celebrated as well. You didn’t get left out when God was handing out the gifts, the talents, or the looks. He put something in you that will cause you to shine. You can be a great businessperson, a great teacher, a great mother. Don’t get so focused on what somebody else has that you don’t realize what you have.  You have to know who you are. God breathed His life into you. You are His masterpiece. Don’t compare yourself. Celebrate yourself.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the amazing people You’ve brought into my life, and thank You for making me amazing as well. Thank You that You gave me the gifts and talents and the looks I have. I celebrate the person You have made me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
It is true, like snowflakes or cherry blossoms there will never be anyone like you.  When God created your soul and body he broke the mold.   So now, in spite of Adams bent for pride and rebellion we need to find out who we were created by God to become.  Christ Jesus as the second Adam gives us the opportunity to do just that.  He has made it possible for us to be born again from above and restored to the original intent of our Creator to become a unique and eternal being in the image and likeness of our Creator.  Our Creator did not give up on us just because Adam violated His commandments.   Our Creator has now given each of us the opportunity to find and keep HIS commandments,  if we want to.  Of course only those who submit to Jesus as Lord and become obedient will have access into HIS new creation of eternal righteousness.  But our Creator is not going to allow further disobedience loose on HIS universe for eternity.  So today is the 1st day of your remaining days. You now have a life time to come to understand what the commandments of God are and to willingly embrace them for your life.   Christ Jesus died to give us this opportunity.  When we submit to Christ Jesus as LORD, that starts the process of sanctification or to be made, by the Holy Spirit, into the image and likeness of GOD.  The gift of life given to us by Christ Jesus is only the beginning of what our Creator has in mind for each of us.  Upon your birth you were also invested with certain gifts.   Those you can be used for God or for self.  It is your choice.  Bach once said that the only reason for music is to worship God.  But look what we have done with it.  And much of the earth resources now are used for war rather than peace.   And much of our entertainment is about destruction rather than construction.  So is your life being invested in this world or the Kingdom to come?  Do you really believe in HIS Precious Promises in order to become like HIM?
