ANOINTING,       “WORTH CONSIDERING”     4/17/20    From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture     (Found in my emails this morning.)
“…Touch not my anointed ones…”  (Psalm 105:15, ESV)

The Power of the Blessing
You are God’s anointed. When people come against you, they’re also coming against the God who put the blessing on you. The good news is, you don’t have to fight those battles. Don’t try to do it in your own strength. You have a defender. Stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord. The people and circumstances you’re up against may seem bigger and more powerful, but stay in peace. The blessing on you is greater than what’s trying to stop you.

The Scripture says that what God has blessed, no man can curse. The blessing on you is more powerful than any betrayal, than any negative word spoken over you, than people trying to discredit you. Nobody can take that blessing from you. That means you are blessed no matter what people or circumstances say. Here’s the key: the blessing did not come from people, so it cannot be taken away by people.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the anointing You have put on my life. Thank You that no one can take that blessing from me, and it is greater than whatever tries to stop me. I believe the blessing is going to take me further than I’ve imagined. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
So how do we know who is anointed and who is not?   And how do we know if we are anointed or not?  In my experience over the years I have seen many extroverts with great personalities and very little or no anointing at all.  So how do we tell the difference?   Well first off, you can’t unless you know the Holy Scriptures in context that have been given to us by the Holy Spirit.  Even in the Old Testament Jesus was able to use the words of Moses to get the victory over lucifer at the Mount of Temptation.

In reading a really great book today I came across a chapter that felt a little funny to me.  Not a clear yes or now but a hummmm, let look into to that one.  The author is a good man and probably right but it was a new thought and needed more focus on my part to check it out.  Did not cause a serious issue with Christian Biblical essentials, but love to further consider.  I wonder how many so called Christians today even know what the Biblical essentials are.  So many denominations today and cults seem to be putting words into God’s mouth.   And teaching fiction for God’s Truth and building big gatherings in the process.

So if you want to view a study on essentials that I did long ago try out www.CCCInt.org and click onto the link, doctrine.  Long ago I put this web site together for fishing in the liturgical pond.   The site looks Orthodox or Catholic but the doctrine is all Biblical with no traditions.

We are here for a life time to find out if we want to live in the coming Kingdom of God and if we do to spend the time needed to understand our new Kingdom Constitution.  And after understanding to want to go there in thought, word and deed and lean on the Holy Spirit for the grace that we need to deal with those deep sins in our lives.  If we are not agressively seek to know and implement the Truth of God in our lives the old habits will be right there in our boredom to try to get us back in our old rut and doing the old habits of darkness all over again..

For it would have been better for them not to have [personally] known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to have turned back from the holy commandment [verbally] handed on to them. 22 The thing spoken of in the true proverb has happened to them, “The dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A sow is washed only to wallow [again] in the mire.” 1 Pet.2:21

For [it is impossible to restore to repentance] those who have once been enlightened [spiritually] and who have [a]tasted and consciously experienced the heavenly gift and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted and consciously experienced the good word of God and the powers of the age (world) to come, 6 [b]and then have fallen away—it is impossible to bring them back again to repentance, since they again nail the Son of God on the cross [for as far as they are concerned, they are treating the death of Christ as if they were not saved by it], and are holding Him up again to public disgrace.  Heb. 6: 4-7.

So our Creator has blessed us with writing down HIS thought to keep us headed in the right direction if we will take the time to find HIS Truth and to apply what we find.  Also the obedient are anointed and powerful in Christ Jesus.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderdful grace and mercy,   Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org

Interesting  notes:
U.S. President Donald Trump has told governors that some could begin reopening their states by May 1 or earlier if they wanted despite ongoing coronavirus infections, according to audio recordings distributed Thursday.

The results of a new survey published on Monday show nearly half of adult Americans believe the Bible should influence laws, the Christian Post reports. Carried out by the Pew Research Center, the survey found 49% of respondents think the Bible should have “some” or a “great deal” of influence on national legislation. Of these, 28% thought the Bible should have precedence over the will of the people.  worthybrief@worthynetwork.com
