Faith:      (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith…”   (Matthew 8:10, NIV)

What God Marvels At
When a Roman officer came to Jesus and said, “One of my employees is very sick, but you don’t have to come to my house. Just speak the word, and I know he’ll be healed,” Jesus marveled at his faith. In Mark 6, it says that Jesus also marveled at the unbelief He was met with in His hometown. What’s interesting is that the people who doubted were the religious people. They were in the synagogue every week. The Roman officer wasn’t a religious person. He hadn’t been indoctrinated to think that it couldn’t happen. He simply believed that Jesus was the Son of God.  When God looks at you, what does He marvel at? Why don’t you come over into faith? You may think that you’re not religious enough, that God would never help you, but God is not looking for religion. He’s looking for people who simply believe in Him, for people who know that He can do the impossible.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for being the God of miracles and that You’re still on the throne no matter what the doubters say. Help me to believe big, dream big, pray big, and think big. I want to be one of the ones who always believes that You can do the impossible. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Actually, this is a very key verse on faith.  The Roman had the best faith that Jesus had found to that point in HIS ministry.  There is individual faith and there is the “Unity of the faith in the bond of peace.”  And we truly can grow in faith.  “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”  So time in the Bible, builds faith.  Time in the world, destroys faith.  Jesus could not do many mighty works in Nazareth due to their unbelief.  Nathaniel when hearing about Jesus quickly replied, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth.”  None of the religious leaders even asked Jesus, where was HE born as they all KNEW he was born in Nazareth….  NOT!!!     So much of what we have been taught in the institutional theater church is really vain traditions and has made the Word of God ineffective as it teaches on faith.  Paul had this to prophesy about the latter day church: 2 Tim. 3:1-6: “ But understand this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear].  2 For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.  3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.  4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.  5 For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].  6 For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate silly and weak-natured and spiritually dwarfed women, loaded down with [the burden of their] sins [and easily] swayed and led away by various evil desires and seductive impulses.

And Jesus prophesied this in Rev. 3;14 about the last church:    14 And to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the trusty and faithful and true Witness, the Origin and Beginning and Author of God’s creation:  15 I know your [record of] works and what you are doing; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot!  16 So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth!  17 For you say, I am rich; I have prospered and grown wealthy, and I am in need of nothing; and you do not realize and understand that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.  18 Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.  19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude].  20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.  21 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.  22 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).   Please notice with this last church that Jesus is standing outside knocking to get into supposedly HIS own church.

Today’s Scripture   (In my mailbox today from Texas.)

“…Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Behold I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live…”   (Ezekiel 37:4–5, ESV)

Ezekiel saw a vision of a valley filled with bones. It was like a huge graveyard of bones from people who had died. Bones represent things in our life that look dead, situations that seem impossible and permanently unchanging. God said, “Prophesy to these dead bones.” Ezekiel started speaking to the bones, telling them to come alive. As he was speaking, the bones started rattling and coming together, morphing back into people. Finally, breath came into those bodies, and they stood up like “a vast army.”  You may have things in your life that seem dead—a relationship, a business, your health. All you can see is a valley of dry bones, so to speak. It’s not enough to just pray about it; you need to speak to it. Prophesy to those dead bones. Call in health. Call in abundance. Call in restoration. God will resurrect what looks dead. He’ll make things happen that you could never make happen.

“Father, thank You that I can speak to the things in my life that seem dead, and You will breathe life into them and bring resurrection. I believe that as I speak words of faith, You will make things happen that I could never make happen. In Jesus’ Name, A Today’s

“…Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Behold I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live…”  (Ezekiel 37:4–5, ESV)  (For me this is a prophesy concerning Jesus and Us as well as the O.T. saints.  After 3 days the body of Jesus was called forth like Lazareth and eventually you and I if we are immersed and saturated in Christ Jesus. Wow!!!  Just remembering some of the other times in scripture where “Breath” is mentioned. Over 87 times in the Holy Bible.  The oldest scriptures that we have with us:   Job 33:3-4:   “My words will express the uprightness of my heart,  And my lips will speak what they know with utter sincerity.  4. “The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of [a] the Almighty gives me life [which inspires me].  Of course from the beginning time line we find man in the process of being created from the dust of the earth and becoming a “Living” soul by the Breath of God, Gen.2:7.  But through pride, rebellion and disobedience Adam’s soul died exactly as he was warned in Gen.2:17.  And all us after Adam were born spiritually dead and some of you who are reading this right now are still spiritually dead, lacking the breath of God in your life.  The first thing that Christ Jesus did, in HIS resurrection, was to breath on HIS disciples and restore the Breath of God which had been lost in the fall of man in Adam, John 20:22.   So God also made an option for us on how to become in the Image and Likeness of GOD, which was the original vision.  For 4,000 man had faith in an animal sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins, as did Able,.  And in the resurrection of Christ Jesus the sacrifice has already been made, Isa 53.  Now we look back 2,000 years for when sacrifice was made.  And now the Holy Spirit who has the anointing of life can move back into our clay houses and became eternal life itself in and with us and also help up clean house.  Jesus taught on this in John 3.   It was eight days later, after the 10 desciples, that Thomas became a Christian when he confessed, “My LORD and my GOD” John 20:28.  In verse 20:31 John writes: But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God: and that believing ye might have life through HIS name.

It is interesting that the little word believe is much stronger in the Greek than in the English.  In the Greek of the New Testament believe means to be like trusting to a chair.  “To trust in, rely upon and cling to.”   I am sitting in a desk chair at this moment.  And I totally trust it.  I have set in it for hundreds of hours now for many years in writing to you.  If it went down, I would go with it.  No doubt at all that I would be on the floor.  The word in the Greek in the above scripture of John 20:31 has the same kind of meaning.  That if you are really a Christian you are totally trusting yourself to Christ Jesus as you would a chair. You are searching the scriptures to find out what HE would like you to help with in HIS Kingdom.  Some of the first words in the prayer that he gave us as an outline were, “Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done on earth as in heaven.  We tend to seek to build our little kingdoms and then try to make HIM responsibile ?  That really won’t fly at all as it does not have the Breath of God under the wings.  The word Pneuma in the Greek was translated Holy Spirit which literally means:  breath, wind, to blow, breathe.

In Hawaii the word Aloha means to give breath.  Alo= give,   Ha + breath.  They called the whalers and traders “Haole” which means, breath-less or no-breath.  It was a very accurate definition.  I wonder how many of you, from God’s point of view are haole and  yet without the breath of God?   That you are still a child of Adam in this world of stuff?  You were created to enjoy serving God and to help build the Kingdom of Jesus.

California beach revival attended by 1,000: ‘The church has left the building’
Days before California churches closed due to a surge in coronavirus cases, there was a massive evangelical Christian gathering on Huntington Beach near Los Angeles.    The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety) human rights group has said the murder of Christians in Nigeria has reached “genocidal” levels, Christian Today reports. According to Intersociety, more than 1,200 Nigerian Christians were murdered by Muslim Fulani and Islamist militants in the first half of 2020 alone.  The Qur’an instructs followers of Islam to eradicate Christians in over 100 verses.

From Worst to Best
We celebrate Good Friday each year, but on the day when Jesus was crucified, the disciples thought it was the worst day of their lives. “Tragic Friday” would have been their description. The One whom they had devoted their lives to was dead and buried in a tomb. But a few days later, when Jesus rose from the dead, they realized that He was who He’d said He was. He had defeated the enemy and brought salvation to mankind. What they’d thought was the worst day of their lives became the best.

We all face times when a dream dies, a relationship ends, we come down with an illness—nothing about the situation seems good. It may not be good right now, but God knows how to bring it all together. You may think it is going to stop you, set you back, and cause you heartache. If you’ll stay in faith, one day you’ll look back and say it was good.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You see the big picture for my life and that You use difficulties for my good. Help me to be patient and trusting when things happen that I don’t understand. I believe that You will bring it all together for my good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments
In Christ Jesus we are called to walk in HIS peace and rest.   And to be ready to serve HIM on any needed level,  HE is the LORD.  One job is not above another if flowing in the Holy Spirit with others.  It is in us flowing together in the Holy Spirit that the world sees Jesus in our collective unity and HIS power.  All parts are necessary.  None of the Ministry Offices are above or below the other.  If it is evangelism then the one anointed as an Evangelist need to take the helm.   Like the captain of a ship will allow a river pilot to take control over his ship if the pilot knows more about the river than he does.   Humility and Obedience are always at work in the Holy Spirit.  We should not care what we are called to do in the LORD’S house as long as we are in the same house with HIM.  Dishes need washing, great.  Trash to the dump, like to help.  I want to help.    But our identity is in Christ Jesus and not in what we do.  There are no badges or titles unless confirmed by the Holy Spirit in power.  Sometimes HE may have us active in each of the 5 ministries at one time or another.  Seems I am better at doing some things than others.  I don’t feel I make a good pastor in holding a church together.   My personality a little too scruffy for that,  but at times the LORD has had me pastor anyway.  And looking at my past and what the Holy Spirit has had me do, it has mostly been in sharing the overview of the vision for HIS Universal Church and in starting new ministries with others working with me. 

So be sensitive as to the flow of respect or adoration as to Ministers.  Some folks are masters at self lifting and making themselves look good in the eyes of others and may not be called to be ministers at all.  Listen to their words, do they really lift up Jesus and make HIM the center.  Do thay make HIM more respected and  bring adoration to HIM as LORD?  Notice that Jesus appoints HIS ministers through the Holy Spirit.  They are not self appointed nor do they need to tell others what they are called in ministry.  The ministry will be obvious in the Holy Spirit and makes spiritual proof of itself in power.   That was one of the issues I had with brothers proclaiming their own ministry,  I did not see the fruit or their ministry as Biblically defined????  They seemed to simple to want authority and to supervise and organize others.  A prophet is God’s voice and speaks for HIM as needed in any given situation.  The office is not a program nor a discipline.  When under the anointing it is to share the very voice of God and the voice always centers in Loving affirmation, corrections and lifting up of Jesus and not the person speaking.  An apostle is a builder with the overview of the Lord’s Church.  A Prophet speaks for God as also supported by scripture.   An evangelist has a deep love for souls and obvious power.  A pastor is a guardian and protector of a small flock and knows all by name.  A teacher is a searcher and sharer of GOD’S TRUTH.  When all are working in loving unity we then get to see Jesus alive among us in power.

11 And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], 12 [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; 13 until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. 14 So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit]. 15 But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ. 16 From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up [a] in [unselfish] love.

We all have a freewill.  You may feel empty in your soul,  GOOD!!!   To me that means freedom from flesh attachments and you are open for the Holy Spirit to fill you with Jesus.  When we are full of Adam, there is no room for anything else.   You can not put anything into a full cup.  Reminds me of an old song of the revivals of the 1970’s   “Fill my cup”  Please take time to listen,  it will be worth it to you.        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4l2yY2r95g

So though you may be feeling alone, you are not alone ,  you may just be getting ready to be found complete in HIM.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

May the LORD equip you with every good thing to carry out His will and strengthen you [making you complete and perfect as you ought to be], accomplishing in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

So please look to the Holy Spirit from Christ Jesus for your completion and not the lies of this world.   And as a man or woman to become like Jesus.  And perhaps,  for a goodly husband or wife to assist as per Prov.31:10-31 as prepared for you by the Holy Spirit.  It Teaches in scripture that one shall put a 1,000 to flight (demons) and the unity of two shall put 10,000 to flight.  So the synergy of unity geometrically increases the power factor for doing Kingdom work for Jesus as we find real John 17 unity 500%.   So if you have a call on your life for assisting someone. find someone who is really close to, humble and obedient to Christ Jesus as LORD in GOD’S TRUTH,  that is good as we all first need to learn humility and obedience.  And  I pray that their white clothing may be valid and not just an act to secure authority over you.  So in all things rest in the Lord and don’t lean to your own understanding.  Jesus came to give us God’s Truth to set us free,  truly free, free in every way to serve HIM.  So never let anyone place you in a little box of religious traditions.  We are created to learn in humility and obedience to choose to use our freewill in that total freedom to serve the Living God, our Creator,  in Love.

Jesus told us that straight is the way to Eternal Life and that not many would find it.   Sure hope that you do.  The vision promised far outweighs the stuff that needs to be cut loose.  A new physical body that is eternal and without pain for one.
Hebrews 12:1

Jesus, the Example

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, …

Don’t Give Your Identity Away
One day a large crowd of people celebrated Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” A few days later, those same people were shouting, “Crucify Him!” When Jesus went to trial and needed His closest friends to support Him, most of His disciples had fled, one had betrayed Him, and Peter denied Him.  (Only John  tried to defend HIM.)  If you don’t know who you are without other people, then if they leave, you’ll be lost. They’ll take you with them because your identity was caught up in who they made you to be. Then you’ll have to try to find somebody else to tell you who you are. Don’t put your identity, your value into somebody else’s hands. You don’t need their approval or for them to tell you who you are. Your value came from your Creator. Let Him tell you who you are. Get your value, your self-worth, your approval from Him.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that I don’t have to look to someone else to tell me who I am because You have already told me that I am Your masterpiece and prized possession. I declare that my identity and value is securely in Your hands, and I’m not looking to others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Comments,
Possible this is one of my most fought battles each day prior to the CCPVirus.  Now I don’t get to town very often so not talking so much for Christ Jesus.  My driving is difficult with my feet issues and we are short one car for now.  But like the Word speaks the truth, “And they took offense at Him [refusing to believe in Him]. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.” Matt.13:57.  In fact this statement is shared another 4 times in the New Testament.  And further: “58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”  And “But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:”

As I look back over the peaks of my experience in ministry I have noticed that the room was full of faith and expectancy.  That there was a nearly supernatural unity.  And the TRUTH of God in Christ Jesus was being shared.  And most important of all was that Jesus was being lifted up.  then the Holy Spirit healed and delivered the people supernaturally.  I have enjoyed this kind of gathering in Costa Mesa 1969, LightHouse Ranch 1970 and at Pilgrim’s Inn 1971-75.  A time when the Holy Spirit was allowed to take total control and we all just followed HIM in loving faith.  And all were touched with God’s love like in Acts 5:16.   Once this becomes an experience there is no turning back from the school of sanctification to become like Jesus.  Even today at near 88 I would love to enjoy that experience at least one more time before I graduate or go home in the Rapture.  So lets take a look at what is needed for from us to enjoy dancing with GOD…  Like Mr. Daily did one night at LightHouse Ranch.   It all started with Leon Omwake, a very dear unique brother in Christ found that an old coast guard light house was for sale in Lolita, CA near Eureka.  So he drove all the way up to Pleasant Hill, OR to tell me about it.  I was then working on a 70 acre Christian Community on Lost Creek near Dexter OR.   So I packed a few things and went with Leon to Table Bluff LightHouse, Liked it and bought it including about 50 hippie squatters.  But skipping a lot of good history here there was a special Saturday evening after we had remodeled the Horn House (the place where the fog horn had been) and made it into a chapel that would hold perhaps 130 people (tightly packed) And one Sat. evening Mr. Daily came, (he had arthritics so bad that his feet and hands were curled up, walked with difficulty with 2 canes and we got a chair for him.  As the evening progressed Bill Wheeler was sharing on his 12 string, “He Turned the Water into Wine” by Johny Cash.  Now there was a floor full of hippies, 70 or more all sprawled out and comfortable all over but mostly on the floor.  As Bill was really getting into the Spirit, Mr. Daily quietly rose to his feet, no canes, closed eyes and danced before the LORD for at least 5 minutes and never opened his eyes nor stepped on any one.  But all eyes were on Mr. Daily.  He had the sweetest smile on his face, like an angle.  Then he set down, never got healed?  But we had one rip roaring full of the Holy Spirit time in which many were saved, healed and delivered.  It was way late before it was over that Sat. Evening but it is still vividly burned into my memories so beautifully by the Holy Spirit nearly 50 years ago.

So it takes a comfortable space, no pews.  Souls in loving faith, respect for the Word of God, obedience, humility, unity in God’s Truth and a freedom from traditions and what others may think.  God is not in a box and neither does HE want us to be boxed.  Jesus came to set us free in God’s Truth.  He is calling us out to be HIS “Rod of Iron” to share HIS LOVE with all of HIS creation.  If we don’t want to learn to do it here in time,  would we ever do it there in eternity?

The NWO is seeking in Nov. to turn the U.S.A. from a Constitutional Republic into a state like China or N. Korea to be under atheist control.   The NWO has been infiltrating our schools for the past 75 years.  The results of this Nov. election is between Freedom and Slavery will be lasting..   So please see the larger picture and not get side tracked by the dumb personality issues.  Look at what is happening on the other side of the world and it is headed in our direction.

Christian leaders condemned Friday’s ruling.  Turkey is expelling foreign Christians as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan seeks to increase support from conservative Islamic leaders, rights investigators told Worthy News.  At least 12 Christians are understood to have been arrested by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRG) in what is believed to have been a coordinated round-up last week, the Christian Post reports.
