FORGIVENESS

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of me and GOD, John 3:16

FORGIVENESS, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 8/4/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love…” (Luke 7:47, NLT)

Forgiven Much
Jesus was at a Pharisee’s house when an “immoral woman” came in and poured a jar of expensive perfume on Jesus’ feet and began to wash them with her tears and her hair. The religious leaders were shocked that Jesus would allow this “sinner” to touch Him. But though she had made a mess of her life, she loved and longed to please Jesus. When she took one step toward God, He showed her mercy and said, “Your sins are forgiven.” That’s the God we serve. Maybe you’ve made a mess, and now you think, God will never help me. No, God is not judging you based on what you’ve done. He looks past the outside, past the mistakes and failures, and He looks at your heart. The question is, is your heart turned toward Him? As it was with this lady, when you call out to God, you’re going to see His favor, restoration, and mercy.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for looking beyond my performance and seeing my heart. Thank You for forgiving my mistakes and failures and messes. I’m shaking off the guilt and condemning thoughts and believing that You will show me Your favor and restoration. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments
OK, So this concept is really foundational to Christianity. The example of prayer that Jesus gave us has this concept of forgiveness in big lights. Matt.6:14-16, “For if you forgive [a] others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others [ nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses. It can not be made much simpler. You can not be in the Spirit of God and retain a vendetta or unforgiveness towards anyone, ever…. Both Jesus and Stephen are wonderful examples of this. In luke 23:33-35, Jesus forgives the guys who were driving big spikes into his hands and feet. “ When they came to the place called [a]The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. 34 [b]And Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His clothes among themselves. 35 Now the people stood by, watching; but even the rulers ridiculed and sneered at Him, saying, “He saved others [from death]; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) of God, His Chosen One.” HE wanted to make sure he was free of any unforgiveness. And Stephen as he was being Stoned to death. Acts.7:54-60, Now when [k] they heard this [accusation and understood its implication], they were cut to the heart, and they began grinding their teeth [in rage] at him. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit and led by Him, gazed into heaven and saw the glory [the great splendor and majesty] of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; 56 and he said, “Look! I see the heavens opened up [in welcome] and [l]the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” 57 But they shouted with loud voices, and covered their ears and together rushed at him [considering him guilty of blasphemy]. 58 Then they drove him out of the city and began stoning him; and the witnesses placed their outer robes at the feet of a young man named [m]Saul. 59 They continued stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive and accept and welcome my spirit!” 60 Then falling on his knees [in worship], he cried out loudly, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them [do not charge them]!” When he had said this, he fell asleep [in death].

Today I hear much unforgiveness towards many things. In Hawaii there is a tirade against Trump for what seems about everything, supposed and otherwise. Constant, every day in the West Hawaii Today. It is amazing as none of these gifted and very vocal people have ever had any time with Trump. They have only read or listened to others. Tonight at dinner we prayed, “Father, help Trump to become the man you created him to be.” We all need that prayer prayed over us. None of us are like Jesus as yet and many do not even know that there is that possibility by the Grace of God. We read this in 1 John 4:16-18: “ We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. 17 In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].”

Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> China’s Communist leadership has ordered devoted Christians not to believe in God. Reports emerged this week that Islamic extremists in eastern Uganda have murdered a pastor and a church member for preaching the Gospel to Muslims, the Christian Post reported Saturday. Pastor Peter Kyakulaga and parishioner Tuule Mumbya of Church of Christ were beaten and drowned in a lake in Lugonyola village in the Gadumire Sub-County of Kaliro District on June 22. Church leaders have reportedly asked the local Christian community not to retaliate, but to be in prayer instead, the Christian Post said. Foreign Christians are being told to leave Turkey and others have been barred from re-entering the country, Morning Star News reported Sunday. Rights advocates have said the Turkish government seems to be purposefully aiming such actions against Protestant Christians. California churches this weekend rallied against Gov. Gavin Newsom’s worship restrictions as many pastors continue to disregard state-imposed bans on singing and indoor services. The most recent death certificates submitted to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that COVID-involved deaths in this country declined 8.26% in the second half of July.

LIFE AND DEATH, ETERNAL

ALOHA DEAR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of me and GOD, John 3:16

LIFE AND DEATH, ETERNAL. “WORTH CONSIDERING, 8/3/20, Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk from Texas this morning.)
“…If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you…” (James 1:5, NIV)

Get the Right Image
God is not keeping a record of all your faults. Sometimes we think He’s in heaven, watching to catch us. “I saw that failure. Let me write that down. I heard that comment. Gabriel, put a star by that one—that was really bad. I’ll have to withhold My goodness.” No, God is not a faultfinder. He’s not an accuser. He doesn’t go around saying, “You knew better and still failed, so you’re on your own.” God is not waiting for you to perform perfectly and then He’s going to show you His goodness. He is full of mercy. He’ll show you favor that you don’t deserve. When you have the right image of God, you know that He’s for you, that He’s not basing His goodness toward you on your performance but on His grace alone. Then all the guilt and the condemnation have to go. God will give you the power to overcome anything that’s holding you back.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are not a faultfinder, but You are full of mercy. Thank You that You are not waiting for me to perform perfectly and then You’ll show me Your love and goodness. I believe that You will empower me to become all You created me to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Our Heavenly Father’s faith, love and forgiveness that is extended at this time in and through Christ Jesus is who HE is and also the example of who HE is urging us to become. I can write nothing better than what we have in the Amplified Translation of 1 John 5, Please Do Read…. Overcoming the World. ( Questions: ken@trinity-aloha.org )
5 Everyone who believes [with a deep, abiding trust in the fact] that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) is born of God [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose], and everyone who loves the Father also loves [a] the child born of Him. 2 By this we know [without any doubt] that we love the children of God: [expressing that love] when we love God and obey His commandments. 3 For the [true] love of God is this: that we habitually keep His commandments and remain focused on His precepts. And His commandments and His precepts are not difficult [to obey]. 4 For [b] everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. 5 Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. 6 This is He who came through water and blood (Body & Soul), Jesus Christ—not by the water only, but by the water and the blood. It is the [Holy] Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. [He is the essence and origin of truth itself.] 7 For there are three witnesses: 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three are in agreement [their testimony is perfectly consistent]. 9 If we accept [as we do] the testimony of men [that is, if we are willing to take the sworn statements of fallible humans as evidence], the testimony of God is greater [ far more authoritative]; for this is the testimony of God, that He has testified regarding His Son. 10 The one who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies confidently on Him as Savior] has the testimony within himself [because he can speak authoritatively about Christ from his own personal experience]. The one who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him [out to be] a liar, because he has not believed in the evidence that God has given regarding His Son. 11 And the testimony is this: God has given us eternal life [we already possess it], and this life is in His Son [resulting in our spiritual completeness, and eternal companionship with Him]. 12 He who has the Son [by accepting Him as Lord and Savior] has the life [that is eternal]; he who does not have the Son of God [by personal faith] does not have the life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God [which represents all that Jesus Christ is and does], so that you will know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have eternal life. 14 This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that [c] if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. 15 And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him. 16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not lead to death, he will pray and ask [on the believer’s behalf] and God will for him give life to those whose sin is not leading to death. There is a sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for this [kind of sin]. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death [one can repent of it and be forgiven]. 18 We know [with confidence] that anyone born of God does not habitually sin; but He (Jesus) who was born of God [carefully] keeps and protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. 19 We know [for a fact] that we are of God, and the whole world [around us] lies in the power of the evil one [opposing God and His precepts]. 20 And we [have seen and] know [by personal experience] that the Son of God has [actually] come [to this world], and has given us understanding and insight so that we may [progressively and personally] know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children (believers, dear ones), guard yourselves from idols—[false teachings, moral compromises, and anything that would take God’s place in your heart].

Yours, in HIS great Love and wonderful Grace and Mercy,
Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org

AUTHORITY

Aloha Family & Friends, Beloved of me and GOD

My good brother in Christ Jesus, Bruce Card, sent a film along to be reviewed, “The Chosen”
A good choice for that time alone with Family.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=craeyJdrCsE

Beautiful day here in Kealia, So. Captain Cook, Hawaii…. Near the Captain Cook Monument.
About 75 degrees now about noon with humidity at 65% and very high UV
Weeds and fruit and veges growing like crazy, Need some help, have 2 extra bed rooms and a bathroom to finish in the shop. With the Virus, I know it would be very difficult except if you were in Hawaii already as they are close to opening travel between islands if you have a CCPVirus test negative.

Been thinking much about authority today and as I consider the Word of God it seems to me that:

All authority in God comes out of LOVE, no exception, as GOD is LOVE. (John) So any Godly Authority has to be without pride, fear or manipulation in order to be of God. God’s ideal is to bring us to the place where we love, trust and in humility want HIS authority because of who HE is. And so HE has set up the circumstances to help us grow up into being like HIM because we decide to want to. Jesus taught us this and how to do the same thing with others in love. But the traditional church has been corrupted into trying to use organization and fear and pride to promote the Gospel. I even got caught up in top down pride/fear authority in the past and have had to repent.

Seems to me that the reason behind all this is that He is that He wants eventually to help make us into HIS IMAGE & LIKENESS. And as God has freewill so to wants to create a family with freewill and not some robots. But learning how to use our freewill can take time and do a lot of damage. Look at the world around us. And God does not want to waste HIS energy herding us so HE helps us come to the place of humility and obedience out of Love. And having freewill we must also agree to the change. Otherwise the universe would look like our present world in eternity. We now have enough H bombs to totally destroy the whole world and yet are building more. We would be out their creating our own little Ivory Towers and Denominations. Or even building bridges to nowhere. So our Creator has locked us in a limited dimensional time capsule with a very fragile temporary body to learn how to come into humility and obedience out of freewill, if we are up for it. If we don’t make the transition into spiritual maturity then only darkness and being alone will remain. The only reason today that my soul knows life from death is I have now have a body that shares that information with my soul from the outside world. Otherwise I would have no idea that anything existed at all.

Scuba Diving long ago, I was in Hilo at “Boiling Pots” and dove down into a vertical lava tube about 30′ in diameter. I had a 100′ cord so told someone to hold on to it as I did not want to go deeper that 100′ and tied the other end to my weight belt. As I descended into that black hole I had never experienced that kind of weightless feeling as the sun light closed off very dim to about the size of a dime at 100′. I could hear nothing but my own breathing, I could see absolutely nothing, I could feel nothing but the water. Then my imagination started to give me images of what was a few feet away on the walls. It took me no time at all to go for that little dime of light and get out of there. From what I can read in the Bible it seems that eternity for the lost will even be far worse. Jesus spent a lot of time warning us about it but not preached much any more. That is if the minister wants to keep his job. Seems that in this life only we have a choice between God’s Light and Truth or the world and blackness without a body. Truly hope you choose wisely. Have any questions, please write me.
Yours, in HIS great love, Ken<>< ken@trinity-aloha.org

VICTORY

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John 12:24-26, John 17:20-22

VICTORY, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/31/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…You may say to yourselves, ‘These nations are stronger than we are. How can we drive them out?’ But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt…” Deuteronomy 7:17–18, NIV

Remember What God Has Done
The Israelites were headed toward the Promised Land, but they were up against nations with huge armies that were stronger and more skilled in warfare. The Israelites had just come out of slavery and were just trying to survive in the desert. They were very discouraged promoted you, not only will faith rise in your heart, but that attitude of expectancy will allow God to do great things in your future.

When Moses spoke these words to them: “Don’t be afraid. Just remember what God did to Pharaoh.” If you’re going to overcome obstacles, if you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to learn to remember. On a regular basis, we should go back over the major victories in our life. When you face tough times and your dream looks impossible, just remember. Go back and replay your victories. Relive the times God made a way. When you’re constantly thinking about how He’s protected you, vindicated you and gave you victory. Not in pride but in faith towards GOD.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the strength that rises within me whenever I remember what You have done in my life. Thank You for the countless times You made a way when it seemed there was no way, and You opened doors that seemed closed. I will not be afraid. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments
A Good Word today. Many times in past ministries I had been tempted by past failures but then reminded of the Joy of seeing the Lord’s Victories. My life has been full of valleys and mountain top spiritual victories. Even now as I was in the process of gathering another house church ministry the virus hit and so social distancing and such and at my age some danger. But in spite of the virus, spiritually things are beginning to come together. James writes about a “righteous” man in James 5:16 and the process begins with confessing faults to one another and praying for each other for the needed healing. And it goes on to teach us that Elijah was like us but by faith he became a righteous man who served GOD well in power. Of course in 1 John 4:17 we are taught by John that when we are walking in God’s perfect love we will have no concern or fear concerning God’s Judgment because we have changed to become like Jesus. If you would like a report card list of the character of Christ Jesus you will find it attached. So in spite of what others have taught you. The ultimate goal of the Holy Spirit, now on earth, is to make us into the very image and likeness of Christ Jesus. That mean we must put on Christ Jesus and become like HIM in our character. The 10 Commandments are still in effect along with the 7 deadly sins and we need to clearly understand the New Testament Commandments that Jesus teaches in the Word of God. We need to come to heart faith in humility and obedience to receive God’s Grace and Power to make the needed changes. We were originally designed to live with God and be like HIM for eternity. In this life only we have the freewill to select our destiny. Every day is a new day to decide what we are to do with our time. Much is manditory
like sleeping, eating and work for family support. At my age, being retired at near 88, I have a lot more choices as to what to do with my time. Woke up early this morning so here I am writing before dawn. The reason for this is last night the Holy Spirit told me to not to turn on a movie and to spend some time with HIM. So that is what I did and it was very profitable. He strongly reminded me that junk in, junk out. And that most everything in this world called entertainment was tainted with the world, flesh and demons. That if I really wanted to become a Righteous Man in fact (A Holy Man) that I would need to spend more of my free time learning to hear HIS voice and being taught by HIM. And here I am at near 88 needing to be reminded. So I really don’t mind passing it along and securing your prayers as I really would like to open up all of the gifts that Jesus came to give me. And I pray the same for you. After writing to you for now nearly 3 years now I suspect that most of this goes into your delete file. But hope springs eternal and I hope not as I feel we are getting very close to the time of weeding out. The 5 foolish virgins who called LORD LORD at the gate, were denied entrance. That would mean that today that fully one half of all of the folks that believe that they are Christian and have a get out of hell free card will be left outside at the gates of heaven for eternity. These were virgins who called Jesus LORD but due to the lack of oil (Holy Spirit) they were denied access to the Kingdom of God. May want to consider your oil level ?

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<>< www.trinity-aloha.org

Got a good laugh out of this one: Carl Armerding wrote about his zoo experience. “As I stood there,” he said, “an attendant entered the cage through a door on the opposite side. He had nothing in his hands but a broom. Carefully closing the door, he proceeded to sweep the floor of the cage.” He observed that the worker had no weapon to ward off an attack by the beast. In fact, when he got to the corner of the cage where the wildcat was lying, he poked the animal with the broom. The wildcat hissed at him and then lay down in another corner of the enclosure. Armerding remarked to the attendant, “You certainly are a brave man.” “No, I ain’t brave,” he replied as he continued to sweep. “Well, then, that cat must be tame.” “No,” came the reply, “he ain’t tame.” “If you aren’t brave and the wildcat isn’t tame, then I can’t understand why he doesn’t attack you.” Armerding said the man chuckled, then replied with an air of confidence, “Mister, he’s old — and he ain’t got no teeth.” Such is the devil in our lives when we realize that God is for us! We should be like the attendant. He knew that cat couldn’t hurt a fly. Satan will make a big ruckus, fussing and growling all he wants but we need to keep our eyes focused on our Lord. James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

PREPARATIONS “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/30/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly…” (1 Peter 2:22–23, NLT)

You Have a Defender
When Jesus was on the earth, He went around doing good, healing the sick, lifting the fallen. He did nothing wrong, but He was misunderstood, criticized, belittled, ridiculed, and falsely accused. How did He respond to protect His reputation? Read today’s Scripture. He didn’t waste His time trying to prove to His critics that He was the Son of God. He just kept being His best, trusting His Father to settle His cases.

We all have people who come against us and make negative comments about us. We spend too much time worrying about what they think, trying to defend ourselves and prove to people who we are. Why don’t you put your reputation in God’s hands? He said He will defend you, and He will vindicate you far better than you can vindicate yourself. You don’t have to retaliate, get even, prove that you’re a nice person, or convince them to change their mind. God can do it better than you.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the example that Jesus showed in His response to insults and false accusations. Thank You that I don’t have to waste my time and energy trying to prove who I am or change what others think of me. You are my defender. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Could not say it any better but to forget what is past and press on to your high calling in Jesus/ An old prophesy of David Wilkerson was given in March of 2009 seems to be coming to pass?

http://davidwilkersontoday.blogspot.com/2009/03/urgent-message.html

Hope you take the time to read it as we seem to be entering into some very difficult times. The CCPVirus is slowly strangling the country. It is like an organic slow EMP attack. As food gets more difficult to find, riots will become more extensive. Making it even worse. Some feel the virus is a NWO farce and not nearly as bad as the publicity we are reading but others feel it is even worse. I am thankful that on our island we only know of about 4 active cases. But then what does anyone know due to the politics & lies that seem to be involved. Paul warns us about confusion in 1 Cor. 14 and tells us clearly that God is never the author of confusion. So it has to be the rulers of darkness that are creating fear so as to create a reason for us to make poor decisions. Our Constitutional Republic is the best government on planet earth at this time if we send moral and ethical people to represent us. But if we elect swamp people we will shortly be in economic slavery as is much of the world today. Even with us now the tax load is about 50% when all taxes are included. And due to the printing of paper money the value of paper money is quickly drying up into nothing. Just consider food and energy prices. We here are now paying over $5.00 per gal. for propane and over $5.00 for a loaf of bread that costs .50 cents to produce.

In scripture there are clear indications that the gentile civilization is now coming to an end. In Luke 21. The physician Luke records that Jesus taught, “ … and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” (Verse24). In 2017 the United States acknowledged Jerusalem as once again the capital city of Israel. And it is quickly heading in that direction in spite of all of the objections. Roughly 850,000 people live in Jerusalem — 37% are Arab and 61% are Jewish, according to the independent think tank Jerusalem Institute. The Jewish population includes around 200,000 ultra-Orthodox Jews, with the rest split generally between religious Zionist and secular Jews. Of the city’s Arab population, 96% is Muslim; the other 4% is Christian. The final status of Jerusalem has always been one of the most difficult and sensitive questions in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For years, US policy has been to avoid declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel in the absence of an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal, as the Palestinians also claim Jerusalem as their capital. It was argued that a unilateral decision would break with international consensus and prejudge an issue that was supposed to be left to negotiations. Recognizing Jerusalem as the capital has also moved the United States a big step closer to relocating the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which would be seen as cementing Israeli sovereignty over the city. So we are the generation that is seeing the fig tree blossom. Matt. 24:32-33 which considers the same event from Matthews witness of the words of Jesus.

For us, we should make sure we have oil in our lamps as per the 5 wise virgins who made it into the wedding feast, Matt.25:10-13: “10 But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked. 11 Later the others also came, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us.’ 12 But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship ].’ 13 Therefore, be on the alert [be prepared and ready], for you do not know the day nor the hour [when the Son of Man will come].” (That could mean that 50% might not make it who now think they are Christian.) Isaiah 28 and Jude are good places to consider about this.

FAMILY CONNECTIONS: “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/29/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table…” (2 Samuel 9:7, NIV)

The King is Looking for You
Mephibosheth was the grandson of King Saul. His father was Jonathan, David’s best friend. But when Saul and Jonathan were killed in battle, and with the enemy coming to wipe out Saul’s family, young Mephibosheth was crippled in an accident. He ended up living in exile for many years in a poor, run-down city named Lo Debar, barely surviving, with no family and no way out. But one day King David remembered his friend Jonathan and discovered that Mephibosheth was alive. He sent soldiers to look for Mephibosheth, then brought him to the palace to live as royalty and restored his family’s land.

Perhaps you feel stuck in your own Lo Debar. The good news is, the King is looking for you. He wants to restore all that belongs to you as His child—the freedom, the joy, the peace, the victory, the abundance. He wants to pay you back for the unfair things that have happened. There is a seat for you at the King’s table.

“Father, thank You for loving me and looking for me because You want me to have all that belongs to me as Your child. Thank You that You found me and brought me to live with You in Your palace forever. I will gladly take my place at Your table. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
This issue with the above posting is in you knowing who’s kid of what family you belong to. In John 8 Jesus told the religious leaders of HIS day that their father was lucifer as they did the works of their father lucifer. Obviously as long as we are alive the Heavenly Father’s welcomes us into HIS family. “Who so ever will, may come and drink of the waters of life freely, Rev.22.” So with our freewill we are able to stay with Adam as our father or though Christ Jesus elect to be adopted back into being a son of God as originally intended.. But those who do so will also start on the pilgrimage journey of becoming like Jesus. It is not possible to stay in the comfort zone of Adam’s lost world and still make the transition into the family of God. John 12:24-26.
The following is taken from a tract that I have printed and give out when I go to town on errands.
Let There Be Light.”
And God said, let there be light and there was light: (1). Arise, shine: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee (2). Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light (3). This is the message which we have heard and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (4). He that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God (5). If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin (6). This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (7). For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved (8). But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (9). Thy Light shall break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward (10). Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. (11). The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light (12). The city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the Light thereof (13). And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever (14).

SHIELD OF FAITH

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John 3:16

SHIELD OF FAITH, “WORTH CONSIDERING “ 7/38/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk today from Texas.)
“…LORD, how they have increased who trouble me!… But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head…” (Psalm 3:1, 3, NKJV)

Use the Power of “But”
In today’s Scripture, David was saying, “God, my enemies are multiplying.” He not only had other armies trying to stop him, but his own son Absalom was trying to take the kingdom from him. David could have thought, I can handle people from the outside trying to take me down, but now it’s my own son. I’m done. This could have been David’s end. But after David stated the hard facts, he took it one step further and said, “But You, O Lord, are my shield.” Notice that David added the “but.” “I’m having a lot of trouble, but the Lord is my shield.”

What’s the message? Don’t let the enemy have the last word. Always add the “but.” “The medical report doesn’t look good, but the Lord is my healer. “A coworker did me wrong, but God is fighting my battles.” “I went through a loss, but God has beauty for ashes.” Every time something negative happens, answer back with a “but.”

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for being a shield about me, my glory and the lifter of my head. Thank You that the enemy doesn’t have the last word when something negative happens to me. I will use the power of “but” and see Your promises come to pass. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Always in looking for Biblical foundation, it is great to have the context. And the Book of Ephesians is worth some really deep study : Eph.6:10-17: The Armor of God
“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. 11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. 13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. 14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having [a] tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), 15 and having [b] strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. 16 Above all, lift up the [protective] [c] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.”

So really, if interested in total protection, The whole armor is needed
Footnotes: Girded your loins, a phrase often found in the Bible, is an urgent call to get ready for immediate action or a coming event. The phrase is related to the type of clothing worn in ancient times. Before any vigorous activity the loose ends of clothing (tunics, cloaks, mantles, etc.) had to be gathered up and tucked into the wide band worn around the midsection of the body. The band (usually about six inches wide) also served as a kind of pocket or pouch to carry personal items such as a dagger, money or other necessary things. Gird up your mind or gird up your heart are examples of variants of this phrase and call for mental or spiritual preparation for a coming challenge. A reference to the Roman soldiers’ shoes which were studded with hobnails to give them stability on the battlefield. Here the Greek word refers to the large Roman soldiers’ shield designed to protect the entire body. It had an iron frame and was covered in several layers of leather. When soaked in water before a battle the shield could put out the fiery missiles thrown at them by the enemy.

The big issue of the day is whether we are trying to get ourselves protected, our way? Or whether we really are in the Lord’s Army and learning to be protected HIS way. God is much more concerned about our eternal soul than our physical body. He plans to replace our temporary body anyway, for those who truly submit to HIM as LORD. So your freewill soul has the choice to live with God in HIS Eternal Kingdom or to live in eternal darkness with no body replacement at all. You have been created a living soul to exist for eternity. Our deep concern should be, placement.

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of God, John 3:16

INFLUENCES, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/17/20 By Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…But Noah found favor with the LORD…” (Genesis 6:8, NLT)

Favor Connections
When the great flood covered the earth, Noah’s family was the only one that was saved. It was because Noah found favor with the Lord. It doesn’t say Noah’s sons had favor, but because they were connected to Noah, their lives were spared. The principle is, when you are connected with people who are favored, people who are further along, people who are more successful, then that favor will flow down to you. You’ll see increase and blessing because of your association. The question is, are you connected to people who inspire you, challenge you, and make you strive to do better? Or, are you connected to people who are negative, drain your energy, and cause you to compromise? Eventually, you’re going to become like whoever you’re connected to. You need to disconnect from people who are hindering your growth and find some favor connections— people who are going places, who are at another level, who have what you dream about.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You have already lined up these favor connections for me. Thank You for the people who are ordained to help me go further. Help me to disconnect from people who are hindering my growth and connect with people who are favored. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Even Birds know about this when flying long distances they find flying easier if in the slip stream of the bird in front of them. Even in riding a bikers know this in riding behind each other in a file. When a kid I use to ride my whizzer motor bike behind trucks to get the slip stream and be able to go faster. Don’t do this, dangerious…. But the old adage is true that misery loves company and we become like the people we associate we associate. You don’t usually find a good husband or wife in a bar. And a bartender has little to do on Sunday School Picnic. Not sure I agree with group blessings. More likely than not if a blessed person harbors a person who is under God’s judgment to keep them safe then they both get the spanking. Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5 is a point in case where the Holy Spirit was powerfully keeping the young Church clean. Lying was the issue and the judgment terminated them both. Unconfessed sin was the subject of 1 Cor.11: 27 So then whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in a way that is unworthy [of Him] will be guilty of [profaning and sinning against] the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But a person must [prayerfully] examine himself [and his relationship to Christ], and only when he has done so should he eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks [without solemn reverence and heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifice of Christ], eats and drinks a judgment on himself if he does not [j] recognize the body [of Christ]. 30 That [careless and unworthy participation] is the reason why many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep [in death]. 31 But if we evaluated and judged ourselves honestly [recognizing our shortcomings and correcting our behavior], we would not be judged. 32 But when we [fall short and] are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined [by undergoing His correction] so that we will not be condemned [to eternal punishment] along with the world. And at the Agape shared meal the Lord Supper was always celebrated as the Lord had ordained. So keeping clean from the world became even a matter of life and death in the Early Church.

In this last days ahead of us the True Church of Christ Jesus is to be made ready without spot or wrinkle or blemish. Eph.5:27 … so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless. Peter tells it this way: 2 Pet.3:14, “So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him].” Some how it has gotten into church tradition that the Church of Christ Jesus goes wounded and limping into Heaven. But that is not good Bible. In fact in Rev.12:11 it is the Church of Christ Jesus that boots lucifer out of the heavens in the middle of the Great Tribulation. We are called to get ready to go home and clean house. We let lucifer in, we get to boot him out. We go home in the Romans 8 victory mode. And we need to always remember we can be broken off as per Rom.11:21, “…for if God did not spare the natural branches (Jews) [because of unbelief], He will not spare you either. 22 Then appreciate the gracious kindness and the severity of God: to those who fell [into spiritual ruin], severity, but to you, God’s gracious kindness—if you continue in His kindness [by faith and obedience to Him]; otherwise you too will be cut off. James adds this: James 1:15, “Then when the illicit desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin has run its course, it gives birth to death.” John adds this for us today: “1 John 2:16-17 “For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world. The world is passing away, and with it its lusts [the shameful pursuits and ungodly longings]; but the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever.

CHILDREN CATCH FISH

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me. John3:16

CHILDREN CATCH FISH, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/24/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish…” John 21:6

Keep Casting Your Net
Peter was an experienced fisherman and had been out in the boat all night. He had worked hard, used his best techniques, threw out the nets just where he thought the fish would be, again and again, hour after hour, but nothing. Early the next morning, a man shouted from the beach to throw the net on the right side of the boat. When they did, they caught so many fish they couldn’t haul the net in. Right then, Peter recognized that the man on the beach was Jesus. Like Peter, you may have worked hard toward your dreams, done your best, used your expertise, exhausted yourself, and come up empty. But God knows where your fish are. God is saying, “Throw out your nets one more time.” The struggle, the disappointment, and the lack were only tests. Your fish are still there. If you’ll throw out your nets again, God is going to cause those stored up blessings to find you.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are the God who spoke worlds into existence, and You know how to get the fish to my net. Thank You that the opportunities, the promotions, the breakthroughs are coming. I’m going to keep believing and casting my net. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Trout fishing is one of my top drawer things to do. Of course when the Holy Spirit sent me to Hawaii I had to trade my love of fishing for trout for a love for fishing for souls. There are several ways of approaching the subject. With pride you get skunked and quit but with humility you try to learn what you are doing wrong and ask questions. Teaching kids between 7 & 12 is a wonderful experience as they are dry sponges and if interested what they suck up into their sponge is with them for life. But back to fishing, we all have good fishing stories. Dale, my construction superintendent and I , decided to take one of our atheist employees trout fishing one week end with my little boat on a big lake in Oregon. Dale in the bow, me with the motor and the atheist in the middle. Trout limit for the 3 of us was 30. Dale and I caught the first 4 fish and then nothing. But we felt GOD was on our side, at least. But then the atheist begin to catch trout and we caught nothing and started to give us a hard time as he passed our 4 and kept going. By the time he was up to about 10 he gave us one horrible time about Jesus helping Peter catch fish but we were such losers, and on and on and on. We had about an hour left before we had to head for shore. Dale and I were totally defeated and felt doomed for more harassment for the night. And then something rose up within me and I almost audible commanded a fish to bite my hook in Jesus Name and immediately I pulled in a big German Brown. Then in the next ½ hour Dale and I caught about 15 fish to our friends -0- and between us and the Holy Spirit saved the day. I look back at that experience of many years ago and see how our superficial pride allowed the enemy to initially take the victory from us. Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a great fall. That the Holy Spirit had to wait on us to burn up our pride and in humility and obedience do as we were told. Often as Christians we keep our cup so full of ourselves that there is really no room for the supernatural presence of Jesus. He has to wait for us to become as little children before we can enter into the Kingdom of God, now, on planet earth. Did Jesus not teach us to pray, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on EARTH, as it is in Heaven. The Holy Spirit is trying to teach us to do just that while we are still here alive on earth. It is not a pie in the sky. The power of God is Here NOW! Wanting to be used for the Glory of God. You can find this woven all through the New Testament if you want to look for it. We need to be learning how to walk together in the Holy Spirit in GOD Loving Truth in UNITY to experience HIS Kingdom on earth. We are being trained, if we will allow it, to learn to walk in the supernatural power of GOD now. If we will dump our unbelief and fear from our cup and fill our cup with humility, obedience and loving faith and unity in the finished work of Christ Jesus for us on the Cross we just might enjoy going fishing with HIM. Jn. 17:22.

FAITH & DETERMINATION

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John 3:14–1

FAITH & DETERMINATION, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/23/20, From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk today from a big church in Texas.)
…”I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw…” Prov. 24:32

Before You Let Go
When we make poor choices, get into a relationship that we knew would not be good, or get in over our head in our spending, there’s always pain that follows. We talk about how important it is to let go of the past, to let go of the divorce, the failure, the bad break, and that’s true. But before you let go of the negative event, remember the lesson you learned from the experience. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you go through a painful time and don’t come out with what you were supposed to gain. Don’t waste the pain and go through it again. Are you bringing pain on yourself? Are you struggling with relationships that don’t last, perhaps because you keep saying everything you feel like saying? The pain will stop if you learn the lesson and zip it up. Be big enough to say, “Here’s where I missed it, but I’m not going to do it again.”

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are full of mercy, and You always give me the grace to get through the consequences of the mistakes I make. Thank You that there are lessons in the pain that are for my good. Help me to learn and remember. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Possible the most difficult part of the Christian walk is family and other Christians. I have been hurt more by family and other Christians than any thing else in this world. Of course this has nothing to do with love, Truth, Biblical Faith or Jesus . But the enemy will keep romping on the pains of the past as being the fault of GOD. And if we will listen, as Eve was taught at the tree, God is just not fair. He enjoys making us suffer. So the lie of sin finds a roost in our head and we go for it and find our selves in pain and all of a sudden, GOD is responsible. After all, He is God and controls everything RIGHT!!! So it must be HIS fault.

We have a beautiful book full of information on how to have a healthy eternal soul of light. But like the directions on a complicated piece of furniture bought from Amazon. We take all the parts out and start to put things together without following the directions and when finished we have extra parts and a mess. Do we then go blame the company? Some do and even kick the boxes. God has given us excellent directions on how to learn to use our freewill so that we can learn not to make heaven look like earth. It is freewill because we can do as we please with it. And we find ourselves in a world full of many decisions. Like the directions in His Book instruct us to be single and celibate until married. And that we are to not be unequally yoked in the marriage but learn to be like Christ Jesus and HIS Church as in His Kingdom. But our children are hurting and over ½ of our marriages are falling apart with STD’s being rampant. The Good Book teaches us to bring up a child with the parents being the example of what they can become. And we send them off to public schools that teach them atheism and immorality. And we wonder why at puberty when they should be model men and women that they are full of pride, lust and in total rebellion.

Once I had a vision or dream??? I was standing next to a large flat field with a lovely lawn, it looked like about the size of 4 football fields all together. There was a long white line stretched across the side of the field and on my side of the line were stacked thousands of brown paper square boxes with writing on the top of each box. Some very large, some very small. Then as I was thinking what a monster puzzle that was as also being a Gen. Contractor, I wondered where the plans and directions were as it clearly seemed to be the parts and pieces for a very large and beautiful building. And then all of a sudden there were thousands of people going to the boxes and with no direction at all started to remove the brown paper and toss it to the winds. My heart sunk and as I watched the folks who felt they were leaders or superintendents began to organize small groups of people and supervise the placing of the parts. A corner went up here, a door there, a wall another place. All were very busy but not really talking to each or the other working parties. It was one big mess of confusion. And as I was standing there the LORD came up beside me and stretched HIS right arm clear across the field to my left side along the white line and very gently removed all of the parts and people to a gentle pile on my right side of the field. And HE said, “I will build my Church.” That vision was given a very long time ago but it seems to me that we are still trying to build the LORD’s Church in our image and not HIS.

If you go through the Bible to understand what HIS Church looks like, It looks like HIM. It is not a building, it is a people who are like Jesus. In our Birth from Above we are given the DNA of God by the Holy Spirit. Faith feeds the DNA, Fear and Unbelief starves the DNA. So spiritually we really do become what we eat. John 12:24-26 gives us a good understanding: Jesus taught: “ I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone [just one grain, never more]. But if it dies, it produces much grain and yields a harvest. 25 The one who loves his life [eventually] loses it [through death], but the one who hates his life in this world [and is concerned with pleasing God] will keep it for life eternal. 26 If anyone serves Me, he must [continue to faithfully] follow Me [without hesitation, holding steadfastly to Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]; and wherever I am [in heaven’s glory], there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. AMP Bible.
