FAITH IS THE VICTORY

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS & SAINTS OF GOD “WORTH CONSIDERING” 8/9/20

It is a lovely Sunday morning here in Kealia, HI it is a very sunny 76 degrees. I was writing a note to one of my children and felt that what I wrote was not just for him but perhaps for you as well. If you felt it was for you, let me know, it helps to know that what I send out goes somewhere and helps someone.

As I was having time with the LORD this morning, HE clearly revealed to me the issue as to the Old Testament and New Testament differences. And I don’t write this on my own at all. He explained to me that in the O.T. HIS anointing could only be upon people who were tender and open to receive it for the people; As the forgiveness for sins had not yet come but was a future promise. Upon His resurrection, sins could then be completely forgiven and the Holy Spirit could then be in each person to guide them. So the O.T. Prophets were no longer needed as a top down authority and the only contact to GOD. God’s LOVE must now ultimately prevail and remove all fear. And HIS Church today is the House of Israel and grafted in by faith, Rom.11:1-36. Heb, 8:20-12 was the scripture given:

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
After those days, says the Lord:
I will imprint My laws upon their minds [even upon their innermost thoughts and understanding],
And engrave them upon their hearts [effecting their regeneration].
And I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.
11
And it will not be [necessary] for each one to teach his fellow citizen,
Or each one his brother, saying, ‘Know [by experience, have knowledge of] the Lord,’
For all will know [Me by experience and have knowledge of] Me,
From the least to the greatest of them.
12
For I will be merciful and gracious toward their wickedness,
And I will remember their sins no more.”

So in our New Testament dispensation for the building of HIS Church it is basically our calling to find and attach the seekers of light to God through Christ Jesus and help them become disciples who can also hear the voice of the Holy Spirit for themselves and to reproduce in kind. The apostles were saved in the Upper Room by Jesus in HIS resurrection and the Church was started and empowered at Pentecost by the Holy Spirit. We are now in the last days for the completion of the Building of HIS Church as per the Holy Spirit’s direction and that is our prime directive. All else is a diversion. When the Church is completed it will look like Jesus and have the power that Jesus gave it in Matt. 28:18 and John 17:20-22 to do what HE did. And then it gets to go HOME to be with GOD….

VISION OF GOD

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John 3:16

VISION OF GOD, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 8/7/20, From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (In my mail box this morning from a church in Texas.)
“…Jabez prayed to the God of Israel: “Bless me, O bless me! Give me land, large tracts of land. And provide your personal protection—don’t let evil hurt me.” God gave him what he asked…” (1 Chronicles 4:10, MSG)

Blessed Indeed
The name Jabez means “pain, sorrow, suffering.” Every time someone said, “Hello, Jabez,” they were saying, “Hello, sorrow. Hello, pain.” They were prophesying defeat and failure. You can imagine how he could have let that make him feel inferior and insecure. But despite what people labeled him, he had the boldness to ask big, that God would bless him with abundance and protection. And God blessed him indeed. Like Jabez, you may have reasons to settle where you are—what you didn’t get, what people said, the odds may be against you—but the good news is that God is for you. He can thrust you further than you ever imagined, but you have to pray bold prayers. Ask in spite of the circumstances. Ask in spite of what people are saying. Ask in spite of what the enemy keeps whispering in your ears. If you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to learn this principle of asking big.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that when the odds are against me, You are for me. Thank You that nothing and no one is more powerful than You, and I can dare to pray bold prayers. I believe that You are going to bless me with abundance as You did Jabez. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Sort of reminds me being in grade school where the kids use to tease me by calling me “Can Not” rather than Kenneth. I was good looking for a kid. In the first grade made friends with very pretty twins…. holding hands both sides. Later in the day got beat up by both of their boy friends. I am sure a lot of the teasing was my fault as I look back and it continued even through the army to College. As an only child I never really learned how to get along with others my age. And all of those concept of who I thought I was had to be trashed when I came to Jesus in 1955 at age 23. And then the process of who I really could be in Christ Jesus started to take hold. In fact even now each day is a new awareness of who I am because of what God thinks about me rather than anyone else.

You see, in my creation my Creator knew who I could become in HIM as HE has absolute and perfect foreknowledge. Even upon conception HE knew exactly who I could become in HIM. So for HIM it is a slam dunk of who I will become in HIM in the Kingdom and HE is excited in getting to have fellowship with the new real me upon completion my time. Of course, for now, I am locked in this temporary dimension of time and can only catch a glimpse of all this as I get a reflection of me in HIS face. But when I spend time with HIM and see my reflection every once in a while and it really pumps me up. I really appreciate the potentially new me that I see in HIS faith for me as I grow up in HIM. So I then can get my eyes off of what I use to be or even where I am now and line up with where I will be in Christ Jesus if I finish the course that HE has laid out for me. Like a kid going though God’s Spiritual Training School of time on how to productively use my free will. We are either in His school and being trained and disciplined in love. Or we are playing hooky and out enjoying a romp through the park. Of course only the five wise virgins were admitted into the Holy City. The five hooky playing dumb virgins asked to get in they were told, “I don’t know you, we never had a relationship.” Matt.25:12.. Should read the whole chapter to get the whole picture. But bottom line, Our Creator wants us to learn to love all souls as HE does and to help those who belong to HIM for sure. We have been given the assignment to teach others as others have taught us from the pure teaching in the Holy Scriptures. And this all begins when we start to see ourselves in the light of the potential of what God’s sees us. HIS original vision was to make us into HIS Image and Likeness, if we were up for it. He has given each of us a freewill. He will never violate our freewill even in 1 Cor.14:32 we are taught that, “The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.” In other words, we can restrict the Holy Spirit from teaching or in prophesy if we want to. If we become seduced by some demon to not share in the mystery of salvation and then we will miss out in the joy of reproduction. Eph.4:14-15 shares about this: “ 14 So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit]. 15 But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ.” As our Lord’s prime concern was in sharing HIS truth with the lost and healing and setting souls free. Should this not be HIS primary concern and direction for our lives as well?

HATE & VENDETTAS

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of me and God, John 3:14-18

HATE & VENDETTAS “WORTH CONSIDERING” 8/6/20 From Ken<>< Kealia

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“…Don’t seek vengeance. Don’t bear a grudge; but love your neighbor as yourself, for I am Jehovah…” (Leviticus 19:18, TLB)

Have a “No Excuses” Mentality
In the Scripture, Joseph was betrayed and sold into slavery by his own brothers, then falsely accused and put in prison. He could have used excuse after excuse to be bitter and angry, but he had a “no excuses” mentality. He kept doing the right thing when the wrong thing was happening. And in the end, he came out vindicated, promoted, and in a place of influence and respect. (This is an exceptionally good word to remember. Ken<><)

People may have said things about you and done things to you that hurt and offended. Don’t waste your time looking back, nursing your wounds. Reliving what they did, thinking about what didn’t work out are distractions. Let it go and God will be your vindicator. Life is too short for you to waste another day in self-pity. It’s not always easy to get over it and move forward, but here’s the key: the pain of letting it go is less than the pain of holding on and missing your destiny.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are the God who fights my battles and vindicates me. Thank You for Your love and grace that are mine. Right now I let go of the hurts, offenses, and wounds of the past. I declare that they have no power over me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Back in 1991 when I was pastor at Hale Halawai o Holualoa, now called “Living Stones Church.” I realized that one of my board members was a 33 degree Mason. So one day I asked him up to my home to try to see the difference between the fear and pride of the lodge and the Church of Christ Jesus. He left my front door telling me that he was going to have me for lunch and he did and due to all the smoke but not the facts I was asked to resign by UCC which I did. But as a condition left the church in the hands of a minister that I trusted. So I was careful not to get into a vendetta about it and just gave it to the Lord. Couple of months later saw a boat for sale in the West Hawaii Today, called, and it was the same guy. So we talked as if nothing had ever happened about buying his boat. He was going to call me back about a price. No call, so called again the following week and his wife was on the phone. She told me that he had died suddenly and the boat was now not for sale and hung up. The Church went on to become much more influential than my vision for it. And seems it is now possibley the largest membership in Kona? It was my fault for not being more careful about qualifications for membership and leadership in the ministry.

So there is something to, “what goes around, comes around.” And “What you sow, is what you reap.” And sometimes we are sowing seeds that we have no idea of how big of a patch of weeds they will grow. I have known a guy that for 50 years has hated his father and mother for not doing what he expected them to do and his life is all about him and how others have trashed him with the demonic blame game and so very few want to even be around him. Needs our prayers, nothing but darkness up ahead unless he gets turned around. The Whole Bible is full on teachings about trusting God to judge and even the score and to make things right. Don’t go to sleep on your anger. Be angry but sin not…. If you have a problem with a person go talk to them in humility and love and obedience to the Holy Spirit. Best way to get rid of your enemies is to make friends out of them. If the Lord should regard sin, we would all go down for the count. Even the good stuff we do is sometime done to look good and to booster our pride. We have grown up in Adam’s messed up world and deeply need God’s loving grace to get extracted from it. So Hate, in early English, was to prefer one person over another. God loves us, each and every one exactly the same. Even as HE loves Jesus. He wants us to learn to love each other the same way. Do we follow God’s example and love every soul the same? In fact HE commands us to not only love each other but also to love our enemies and those who despitefully use us. Trust is learned but Love is Commanded. And it is impossible to locw if you have hate or a vendetta going about some one for one offense or another. The Bible commands us to pray for the leaders that God has raised up for us, good or bad. A lot of folks have an obsessive hate for Trump. I really feel for them as their weed patch is going to be difficult to pull.
By the way, do we have a weed patch in the back yard in Kealia… If in Kona could sure use some help !!

BATTLE FOR MAN SOUL

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of me and God, John 4:16
BATTLE FOR MAN SOUL,
    “WORTH CONSIDERING” 8/5/20, From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a ministry in Texas.)
“…The angel of the LORD came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you…” (1 Kings 19:7, NIV)

When You Run Out of Strength
The prophet Elijah had just gone from one of the greatest victories of his life to running away in defeat at the death threat of Queen Jezebel. He was sitting under a tree so depressed that he didn’t want to live. He said, “God, I’m done. It’s over.” He’d just seen a great miracle, but now he was tired of standing strong in faith.

Maybe you’ve been doing the right thing, praying and believing, but you’ve lost your drive. You may not have given up on life but given up on your dreams. Here’s the good news: God doesn’t condemn us or disqualify us or write us off when we get tired. God sent an angel to cook and feed Elijah once, and then a second time to strengthen him. That is what He’ll do for you. He’s going to cause blessings to chase you down. He’s coming a second time to push you into the fullness of your destiny..

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your provisions all along my life journey. Thank You for Your promise of coming to me a second time to renew me with strength and breathe new life into my dreams. I believe that You are coming again to cause blessings to chase me down. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments’
The battle between Jezebel and Elijah is still going on. Many men of God have bit the dust in depression and unbelief. But like a child learning to walk, there is no option but to learn to walk, what ever it takes. That is part of life. No parent that I know of has ever slapped a child on the head and said, “You have now fallen down 27 times and it is over, you can crawl for the rest of your life.” Our Heavenly Father has a vision and purpose in HIS Loving Faith to make us into HIS Image and Likeness. And unless we actively use our freewill to say NO ! That is what our stay on earth is seriously all about. I love the prophesy of Christ Jesus in Rev.22:16-17, “ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you and to give you assurance of these things for the churches. I am the Root (the Source, the Life) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and bright Morning Star.” 17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, believers) say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost.” The price or cost of Adam’s pride and rebellion has been paid in full by the humility and obedience of Christ Jesus. So now it is up to us as to what we want to do with our souls while in this dimension of time. In the beginning there was only one tree to avoid. Now we have a whole orchard of trees around us that are full of poison like weeds. And some of the fruit is very easy to become hooked on. The Bible warns us clearly of the poison and gives us a road map through the orchard but most just spend their whole life wondering through the orchard without looking at the road map of eternity. So if interested in getting back on the Road to Eternal Life with God, start reading through the Gospel of John for the story about Jesus then read Acts the story about the Early Church and then Romans for a clear view of what the road looks like, especially spend some time considering Romans 8 & 10. It really will not take long to do and your eternal soul is at stake. When you die if you are still in the orchard of poison eating the fruit you will miss finding the Kingdom of God. 1 Tim.4:11, “Keep commanding and teaching these things. 12 Let no one look down on [you because of] your youth, but be an example and set a pattern for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in [moral ] purity. 13 Until I come, devote yourself to public reading [of Scripture], to preaching and to teaching [the sound doctrine of God’s word]. 14 Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, [that special endowment] which was intentionally bestowed on you [by the Holy Spirit] through prophetic utterance when the [c] elders laid their hands on you [at your ordination]. 15 Practice and work hard on these things; be absorbed in them [completely occupied in your ministry], so that your progress will be evident to all. 16 Pay close attention to yourself [concentrate on your personal development] and to your teaching; persevere in these things [hold to them], for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you.”

Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> A Christian convert in Iran has won an appeal against conviction for “insulting the sacred beliefs of Muslims,” but lost his appeal against two charges of inciting “propaganda against the state” and for “membership of a [“Zionist” evangelical] group hostile to the regime” respectively, the Christian Post reports. Ismaeil Maghrebinejad was arrested in January 2019 and sentenced by a civil court in January 2020 to a total of six years imprisonment on the original three charges. The Chief Minister of India’s Haryana state has announced he proposes to add a Freedom of Religion Act that would criminalize forced conversions, Persecution.org reports. Commonly referred to as anti-conversion laws, such legislation has already been enacted in eight other Indian states. The announcement on June 16 by Manohar Lal Khattar has reportedly caused serious concerns to Haryana Christians: radical Hindus have used this law in other states to justify attacks on Christians and their places of worship. Americans’ distrust for the news media to tell the story straight has reached unprecedented levels, an alarming development for any functioning democracy, a new poll reveals. The FBI has opened more than 300 domestic terrorism investigations since late May and arrested nearly 100 people in Portland, Oregon, a focal point of the George Floyd protests, a top federal prosecutor said on Tuesday. A simple observation is that America is facing a violent army of invading “Philistines” bent on nothing less than the destruction of the nation. And somehow, Americans have been paralyzed by the enemy’s sheer bravado and terrifying violence. A massive silent majority may well be wondering if there might be a “David” anywhere in the camp.

FORGIVENESS

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of me and GOD, John 3:16

FORGIVENESS, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 8/4/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love…” (Luke 7:47, NLT)

Forgiven Much
Jesus was at a Pharisee’s house when an “immoral woman” came in and poured a jar of expensive perfume on Jesus’ feet and began to wash them with her tears and her hair. The religious leaders were shocked that Jesus would allow this “sinner” to touch Him. But though she had made a mess of her life, she loved and longed to please Jesus. When she took one step toward God, He showed her mercy and said, “Your sins are forgiven.” That’s the God we serve. Maybe you’ve made a mess, and now you think, God will never help me. No, God is not judging you based on what you’ve done. He looks past the outside, past the mistakes and failures, and He looks at your heart. The question is, is your heart turned toward Him? As it was with this lady, when you call out to God, you’re going to see His favor, restoration, and mercy.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for looking beyond my performance and seeing my heart. Thank You for forgiving my mistakes and failures and messes. I’m shaking off the guilt and condemning thoughts and believing that You will show me Your favor and restoration. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments
OK, So this concept is really foundational to Christianity. The example of prayer that Jesus gave us has this concept of forgiveness in big lights. Matt.6:14-16, “For if you forgive [a] others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others [ nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses. It can not be made much simpler. You can not be in the Spirit of God and retain a vendetta or unforgiveness towards anyone, ever…. Both Jesus and Stephen are wonderful examples of this. In luke 23:33-35, Jesus forgives the guys who were driving big spikes into his hands and feet. “ When they came to the place called [a]The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. 34 [b]And Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His clothes among themselves. 35 Now the people stood by, watching; but even the rulers ridiculed and sneered at Him, saying, “He saved others [from death]; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) of God, His Chosen One.” HE wanted to make sure he was free of any unforgiveness. And Stephen as he was being Stoned to death. Acts.7:54-60, Now when [k] they heard this [accusation and understood its implication], they were cut to the heart, and they began grinding their teeth [in rage] at him. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit and led by Him, gazed into heaven and saw the glory [the great splendor and majesty] of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; 56 and he said, “Look! I see the heavens opened up [in welcome] and [l]the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” 57 But they shouted with loud voices, and covered their ears and together rushed at him [considering him guilty of blasphemy]. 58 Then they drove him out of the city and began stoning him; and the witnesses placed their outer robes at the feet of a young man named [m]Saul. 59 They continued stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive and accept and welcome my spirit!” 60 Then falling on his knees [in worship], he cried out loudly, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them [do not charge them]!” When he had said this, he fell asleep [in death].

Today I hear much unforgiveness towards many things. In Hawaii there is a tirade against Trump for what seems about everything, supposed and otherwise. Constant, every day in the West Hawaii Today. It is amazing as none of these gifted and very vocal people have ever had any time with Trump. They have only read or listened to others. Tonight at dinner we prayed, “Father, help Trump to become the man you created him to be.” We all need that prayer prayed over us. None of us are like Jesus as yet and many do not even know that there is that possibility by the Grace of God. We read this in 1 John 4:16-18: “ We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. 17 In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].”

Yours in HIS great love, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org

Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> China’s Communist leadership has ordered devoted Christians not to believe in God. Reports emerged this week that Islamic extremists in eastern Uganda have murdered a pastor and a church member for preaching the Gospel to Muslims, the Christian Post reported Saturday. Pastor Peter Kyakulaga and parishioner Tuule Mumbya of Church of Christ were beaten and drowned in a lake in Lugonyola village in the Gadumire Sub-County of Kaliro District on June 22. Church leaders have reportedly asked the local Christian community not to retaliate, but to be in prayer instead, the Christian Post said. Foreign Christians are being told to leave Turkey and others have been barred from re-entering the country, Morning Star News reported Sunday. Rights advocates have said the Turkish government seems to be purposefully aiming such actions against Protestant Christians. California churches this weekend rallied against Gov. Gavin Newsom’s worship restrictions as many pastors continue to disregard state-imposed bans on singing and indoor services. The most recent death certificates submitted to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that COVID-involved deaths in this country declined 8.26% in the second half of July.

LIFE AND DEATH, ETERNAL

ALOHA DEAR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of me and GOD, John 3:16

LIFE AND DEATH, ETERNAL. “WORTH CONSIDERING, 8/3/20, Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk from Texas this morning.)
“…If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you…” (James 1:5, NIV)

Get the Right Image
God is not keeping a record of all your faults. Sometimes we think He’s in heaven, watching to catch us. “I saw that failure. Let me write that down. I heard that comment. Gabriel, put a star by that one—that was really bad. I’ll have to withhold My goodness.” No, God is not a faultfinder. He’s not an accuser. He doesn’t go around saying, “You knew better and still failed, so you’re on your own.” God is not waiting for you to perform perfectly and then He’s going to show you His goodness. He is full of mercy. He’ll show you favor that you don’t deserve. When you have the right image of God, you know that He’s for you, that He’s not basing His goodness toward you on your performance but on His grace alone. Then all the guilt and the condemnation have to go. God will give you the power to overcome anything that’s holding you back.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are not a faultfinder, but You are full of mercy. Thank You that You are not waiting for me to perform perfectly and then You’ll show me Your love and goodness. I believe that You will empower me to become all You created me to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Our Heavenly Father’s faith, love and forgiveness that is extended at this time in and through Christ Jesus is who HE is and also the example of who HE is urging us to become. I can write nothing better than what we have in the Amplified Translation of 1 John 5, Please Do Read…. Overcoming the World. ( Questions: ken@trinity-aloha.org )
5 Everyone who believes [with a deep, abiding trust in the fact] that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) is born of God [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose], and everyone who loves the Father also loves [a] the child born of Him. 2 By this we know [without any doubt] that we love the children of God: [expressing that love] when we love God and obey His commandments. 3 For the [true] love of God is this: that we habitually keep His commandments and remain focused on His precepts. And His commandments and His precepts are not difficult [to obey]. 4 For [b] everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. 5 Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. 6 This is He who came through water and blood (Body & Soul), Jesus Christ—not by the water only, but by the water and the blood. It is the [Holy] Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. [He is the essence and origin of truth itself.] 7 For there are three witnesses: 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three are in agreement [their testimony is perfectly consistent]. 9 If we accept [as we do] the testimony of men [that is, if we are willing to take the sworn statements of fallible humans as evidence], the testimony of God is greater [ far more authoritative]; for this is the testimony of God, that He has testified regarding His Son. 10 The one who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies confidently on Him as Savior] has the testimony within himself [because he can speak authoritatively about Christ from his own personal experience]. The one who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him [out to be] a liar, because he has not believed in the evidence that God has given regarding His Son. 11 And the testimony is this: God has given us eternal life [we already possess it], and this life is in His Son [resulting in our spiritual completeness, and eternal companionship with Him]. 12 He who has the Son [by accepting Him as Lord and Savior] has the life [that is eternal]; he who does not have the Son of God [by personal faith] does not have the life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God [which represents all that Jesus Christ is and does], so that you will know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have eternal life. 14 This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that [c] if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. 15 And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him. 16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not lead to death, he will pray and ask [on the believer’s behalf] and God will for him give life to those whose sin is not leading to death. There is a sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for this [kind of sin]. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death [one can repent of it and be forgiven]. 18 We know [with confidence] that anyone born of God does not habitually sin; but He (Jesus) who was born of God [carefully] keeps and protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. 19 We know [for a fact] that we are of God, and the whole world [around us] lies in the power of the evil one [opposing God and His precepts]. 20 And we [have seen and] know [by personal experience] that the Son of God has [actually] come [to this world], and has given us understanding and insight so that we may [progressively and personally] know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children (believers, dear ones), guard yourselves from idols—[false teachings, moral compromises, and anything that would take God’s place in your heart].

AUTHORITY

Aloha Family & Friends, Beloved of me and GOD

My good brother in Christ Jesus, Bruce Card, sent a film along to be reviewed, “The Chosen”
A good choice for that time alone with Family.

Beautiful day here in Kealia, So. Captain Cook, Hawaii…. Near the Captain Cook Monument.
About 75 degrees now about noon with humidity at 65% and very high UV
Weeds and fruit and veges growing like crazy, Need some help, have 2 extra bed rooms and a bathroom to finish in the shop. With the Virus, I know it would be very difficult except if you were in Hawaii already as they are close to opening travel between islands if you have a CCPVirus test negative.

Been thinking much about authority today and as I consider the Word of God it seems to me that:

All authority in God comes out of LOVE, no exception, as GOD is LOVE. (John) So any Godly Authority has to be without pride, fear or manipulation in order to be of God. God’s ideal is to bring us to the place where we love, trust and in humility want HIS authority because of who HE is. And so HE has set up the circumstances to help us grow up into being like HIM because we decide to want to. Jesus taught us this and how to do the same thing with others in love. But the traditional church has been corrupted into trying to use organization and fear and pride to promote the Gospel. I even got caught up in top down pride/fear authority in the past and have had to repent.

Seems to me that the reason behind all this is that He is that He wants eventually to help make us into HIS IMAGE & LIKENESS. And as God has freewill so to wants to create a family with freewill and not some robots. But learning how to use our freewill can take time and do a lot of damage. Look at the world around us. And God does not want to waste HIS energy herding us so HE helps us come to the place of humility and obedience out of Love. And having freewill we must also agree to the change. Otherwise the universe would look like our present world in eternity. We now have enough H bombs to totally destroy the whole world and yet are building more. We would be out their creating our own little Ivory Towers and Denominations. Or even building bridges to nowhere. So our Creator has locked us in a limited dimensional time capsule with a very fragile temporary body to learn how to come into humility and obedience out of freewill, if we are up for it. If we don’t make the transition into spiritual maturity then only darkness and being alone will remain. The only reason today that my soul knows life from death is I have now have a body that shares that information with my soul from the outside world. Otherwise I would have no idea that anything existed at all.

Scuba Diving long ago, I was in Hilo at “Boiling Pots” and dove down into a vertical lava tube about 30′ in diameter. I had a 100′ cord so told someone to hold on to it as I did not want to go deeper that 100′ and tied the other end to my weight belt. As I descended into that black hole I had never experienced that kind of weightless feeling as the sun light closed off very dim to about the size of a dime at 100′. I could hear nothing but my own breathing, I could see absolutely nothing, I could feel nothing but the water. Then my imagination started to give me images of what was a few feet away on the walls. It took me no time at all to go for that little dime of light and get out of there. From what I can read in the Bible it seems that eternity for the lost will even be far worse. Jesus spent a lot of time warning us about it but not preached much any more. That is if the minister wants to keep his job. Seems that in this life only we have a choice between God’s Light and Truth or the world and blackness without a body. Truly hope you choose wisely. Have any questions, please write me.

VICTORY

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John 12:24-26, John 17:20-22

VICTORY, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/31/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…You may say to yourselves, ‘These nations are stronger than we are. How can we drive them out?’ But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt…” Deuteronomy 7:17–18, NIV

Remember What God Has Done
The Israelites were headed toward the Promised Land, but they were up against nations with huge armies that were stronger and more skilled in warfare. The Israelites had just come out of slavery and were just trying to survive in the desert. They were very discouraged promoted you, not only will faith rise in your heart, but that attitude of expectancy will allow God to do great things in your future.

When Moses spoke these words to them: “Don’t be afraid. Just remember what God did to Pharaoh.” If you’re going to overcome obstacles, if you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to learn to remember. On a regular basis, we should go back over the major victories in our life. When you face tough times and your dream looks impossible, just remember. Go back and replay your victories. Relive the times God made a way. When you’re constantly thinking about how He’s protected you, vindicated you and gave you victory. Not in pride but in faith towards GOD.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the strength that rises within me whenever I remember what You have done in my life. Thank You for the countless times You made a way when it seemed there was no way, and You opened doors that seemed closed. I will not be afraid. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments
A Good Word today. Many times in past ministries I had been tempted by past failures but then reminded of the Joy of seeing the Lord’s Victories. My life has been full of valleys and mountain top spiritual victories. Even now as I was in the process of gathering another house church ministry the virus hit and so social distancing and such and at my age some danger. But in spite of the virus, spiritually things are beginning to come together. James writes about a “righteous” man in James 5:16 and the process begins with confessing faults to one another and praying for each other for the needed healing. And it goes on to teach us that Elijah was like us but by faith he became a righteous man who served GOD well in power. Of course in 1 John 4:17 we are taught by John that when we are walking in God’s perfect love we will have no concern or fear concerning God’s Judgment because we have changed to become like Jesus. If you would like a report card list of the character of Christ Jesus you will find it attached. So in spite of what others have taught you. The ultimate goal of the Holy Spirit, now on earth, is to make us into the very image and likeness of Christ Jesus. That mean we must put on Christ Jesus and become like HIM in our character. The 10 Commandments are still in effect along with the 7 deadly sins and we need to clearly understand the New Testament Commandments that Jesus teaches in the Word of God. We need to come to heart faith in humility and obedience to receive God’s Grace and Power to make the needed changes. We were originally designed to live with God and be like HIM for eternity. In this life only we have the freewill to select our destiny. Every day is a new day to decide what we are to do with our time. Much is manditory
like sleeping, eating and work for family support. At my age, being retired at near 88, I have a lot more choices as to what to do with my time. Woke up early this morning so here I am writing before dawn. The reason for this is last night the Holy Spirit told me to not to turn on a movie and to spend some time with HIM. So that is what I did and it was very profitable. He strongly reminded me that junk in, junk out. And that most everything in this world called entertainment was tainted with the world, flesh and demons. That if I really wanted to become a Righteous Man in fact (A Holy Man) that I would need to spend more of my free time learning to hear HIS voice and being taught by HIM. And here I am at near 88 needing to be reminded. So I really don’t mind passing it along and securing your prayers as I really would like to open up all of the gifts that Jesus came to give me. And I pray the same for you. After writing to you for now nearly 3 years now I suspect that most of this goes into your delete file. But hope springs eternal and I hope not as I feel we are getting very close to the time of weeding out. The 5 foolish virgins who called LORD LORD at the gate, were denied entrance. That would mean that today that fully one half of all of the folks that believe that they are Christian and have a get out of hell free card will be left outside at the gates of heaven for eternity. These were virgins who called Jesus LORD but due to the lack of oil (Holy Spirit) they were denied access to the Kingdom of God. May want to consider your oil level ?

Got a good laugh out of this one: Carl Armerding wrote about his zoo experience. “As I stood there,” he said, “an attendant entered the cage through a door on the opposite side. He had nothing in his hands but a broom. Carefully closing the door, he proceeded to sweep the floor of the cage.” He observed that the worker had no weapon to ward off an attack by the beast. In fact, when he got to the corner of the cage where the wildcat was lying, he poked the animal with the broom. The wildcat hissed at him and then lay down in another corner of the enclosure. Armerding remarked to the attendant, “You certainly are a brave man.” “No, I ain’t brave,” he replied as he continued to sweep. “Well, then, that cat must be tame.” “No,” came the reply, “he ain’t tame.” “If you aren’t brave and the wildcat isn’t tame, then I can’t understand why he doesn’t attack you.” Armerding said the man chuckled, then replied with an air of confidence, “Mister, he’s old — and he ain’t got no teeth.” Such is the devil in our lives when we realize that God is for us! We should be like the attendant. He knew that cat couldn’t hurt a fly. Satan will make a big ruckus, fussing and growling all he wants but we need to keep our eyes focused on our Lord. James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

PREPARATIONS “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/30/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly…” (1 Peter 2:22–23, NLT)

You Have a Defender
When Jesus was on the earth, He went around doing good, healing the sick, lifting the fallen. He did nothing wrong, but He was misunderstood, criticized, belittled, ridiculed, and falsely accused. How did He respond to protect His reputation? Read today’s Scripture. He didn’t waste His time trying to prove to His critics that He was the Son of God. He just kept being His best, trusting His Father to settle His cases.

We all have people who come against us and make negative comments about us. We spend too much time worrying about what they think, trying to defend ourselves and prove to people who we are. Why don’t you put your reputation in God’s hands? He said He will defend you, and He will vindicate you far better than you can vindicate yourself. You don’t have to retaliate, get even, prove that you’re a nice person, or convince them to change their mind. God can do it better than you.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the example that Jesus showed in His response to insults and false accusations. Thank You that I don’t have to waste my time and energy trying to prove who I am or change what others think of me. You are my defender. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Could not say it any better but to forget what is past and press on to your high calling in Jesus/ An old prophesy of David Wilkerson was given in March of 2009 seems to be coming to pass?

http://davidwilkersontoday.blogspot.com/2009/03/urgent-message.html

Hope you take the time to read it as we seem to be entering into some very difficult times. The CCPVirus is slowly strangling the country. It is like an organic slow EMP attack. As food gets more difficult to find, riots will become more extensive. Making it even worse. Some feel the virus is a NWO farce and not nearly as bad as the publicity we are reading but others feel it is even worse. I am thankful that on our island we only know of about 4 active cases. But then what does anyone know due to the politics & lies that seem to be involved. Paul warns us about confusion in 1 Cor. 14 and tells us clearly that God is never the author of confusion. So it has to be the rulers of darkness that are creating fear so as to create a reason for us to make poor decisions. Our Constitutional Republic is the best government on planet earth at this time if we send moral and ethical people to represent us. But if we elect swamp people we will shortly be in economic slavery as is much of the world today. Even with us now the tax load is about 50% when all taxes are included. And due to the printing of paper money the value of paper money is quickly drying up into nothing. Just consider food and energy prices. We here are now paying over $5.00 per gal. for propane and over $5.00 for a loaf of bread that costs .50 cents to produce.

In scripture there are clear indications that the gentile civilization is now coming to an end. In Luke 21. The physician Luke records that Jesus taught, “ … and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” (Verse24). In 2017 the United States acknowledged Jerusalem as once again the capital city of Israel. And it is quickly heading in that direction in spite of all of the objections. Roughly 850,000 people live in Jerusalem — 37% are Arab and 61% are Jewish, according to the independent think tank Jerusalem Institute. The Jewish population includes around 200,000 ultra-Orthodox Jews, with the rest split generally between religious Zionist and secular Jews. Of the city’s Arab population, 96% is Muslim; the other 4% is Christian. The final status of Jerusalem has always been one of the most difficult and sensitive questions in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For years, US policy has been to avoid declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel in the absence of an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal, as the Palestinians also claim Jerusalem as their capital. It was argued that a unilateral decision would break with international consensus and prejudge an issue that was supposed to be left to negotiations. Recognizing Jerusalem as the capital has also moved the United States a big step closer to relocating the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which would be seen as cementing Israeli sovereignty over the city. So we are the generation that is seeing the fig tree blossom. Matt. 24:32-33 which considers the same event from Matthews witness of the words of Jesus.

For us, we should make sure we have oil in our lamps as per the 5 wise virgins who made it into the wedding feast, Matt.25:10-13: “10 But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked. 11 Later the others also came, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us.’ 12 But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship ].’ 13 Therefore, be on the alert [be prepared and ready], for you do not know the day nor the hour [when the Son of Man will come].” (That could mean that 50% might not make it who now think they are Christian.) Isaiah 28 and Jude are good places to consider about this.

FAMILY CONNECTIONS: “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/29/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table…” (2 Samuel 9:7, NIV)

The King is Looking for You
Mephibosheth was the grandson of King Saul. His father was Jonathan, David’s best friend. But when Saul and Jonathan were killed in battle, and with the enemy coming to wipe out Saul’s family, young Mephibosheth was crippled in an accident. He ended up living in exile for many years in a poor, run-down city named Lo Debar, barely surviving, with no family and no way out. But one day King David remembered his friend Jonathan and discovered that Mephibosheth was alive. He sent soldiers to look for Mephibosheth, then brought him to the palace to live as royalty and restored his family’s land.

Perhaps you feel stuck in your own Lo Debar. The good news is, the King is looking for you. He wants to restore all that belongs to you as His child—the freedom, the joy, the peace, the victory, the abundance. He wants to pay you back for the unfair things that have happened. There is a seat for you at the King’s table.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for loving me and looking for me because You want me to have all that belongs to me as Your child. Thank You that You found me and brought me to live with You in Your palace forever. I will gladly take my place at Your table. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
This issue with the above posting is in you knowing who’s kid of what family you belong to. In John 8 Jesus told the religious leaders of HIS day that their father was lucifer as they did the works of their father lucifer. Obviously as long as we are alive the Heavenly Father’s welcomes us into HIS family. “Who so ever will, may come and drink of the waters of life freely, Rev.22.” So with our freewill we are able to stay with Adam as our father or though Christ Jesus elect to be adopted back into being a son of God as originally intended.. But those who do so will also start on the pilgrimage journey of becoming like Jesus. It is not possible to stay in the comfort zone of Adam’s lost world and still make the transition into the family of God. John 12:24-26.
The following is taken from a tract that I have printed and give out when I go to town on errands.
Let There Be Light.”
And God said, let there be light and there was light: (1). Arise, shine: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee (2). Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light (3). This is the message which we have heard and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (4). He that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God (5). If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin (6). This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (7). For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved (8). But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (9). Thy Light shall break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward (10). Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. (11). The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light (12). The city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the Light thereof (13). And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever (14).
