DUMPING THE TRASH, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/18/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
Admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed., Jm. 5:16

Ask for Help
It’s easy to hide things in our lives and let people see only what we want them to see. All the heroes of faith in the Scripture had their weaknesses and failures. Everyone has issues.

If you’re still struggling in an area today, there is no shame in asking for help. Sometimes we think we’re supposed to be perfect, so we can’t let anybody know we have a bad habit, an addiction, or a struggle. We would be embarrassed if others knew. Today’s Scripture tells you to not let shame keep you isolated. Real healing begins when we get honest. There are some things that you can’t overcome on your own. You need to find somebody to stand in faith with you, a person of integrity whom you can trust to walk with you through it. There’s something about getting it out in the open. Don’t let the fear of what other people think keep you from your miracle.

A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to hide my faults and weaknesses and be isolated. Help me to find someone whose integrity I trust to stand in faith and pray with me. I want the healing that comes with being honest and bringing my issues to the light. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
What a wonderful way to dump the trash. Of course there is a little more context that needs to be considered: James 5:14-18 and well worth considering. “14 Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with [c] oil in the name of the Lord; 15 and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed [d] intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. 18 Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].

The key here is to find a prayerful righteous man to confess your fault to. And they are rather scarce. Otherwise it may be very painful ending in gossip and slander. And if no loving unity in heart faith don’t expect much to happen. Only if the Word of God goes forth in Faith, Unity, Love and Holiness, will there be Divine healing. This only worked for Jesus & other’s like HIM.

Historic Church Elder Statements:
“I am convinced that many evangelicals are not truly and soundly converted. Among the evangelicals it is entirely possible to come into membership, to ooze in by osmosis, to leak through the cells of the church and never know what it means to be born of the Spirit and washed in the blood.” – A W Tozer.

“It is simply absurd to say you believe, or even want to believe, in Him, if you do not do anything He tells you.” – George Macdonald

“God is not looking for brilliant men, is not depending upon eloquent men, is not shut up to the use of talented men in sending His gospel out in the world. God is looking for broken men who
have judged themselves in the light of the cross of Christ. When He wants anything done, He takes up men who have come to the end of themselves, whose confidence is not in themselves, but in God.”- H.A. Ironside

“Let us learn by paradox
that the way down is the way up,
that to be low is to be high,
that the broken heart is the healed heart,
that the contrite spirit is the rejoicing spirit,
that the repenting soul is the victorious soul,
that to have nothing is to possess all,
that to bear the cross is to wear the crown,
that to give is to receive,
that the valley is the place of vision.”

Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> Since the election in 2016, one prayer organization has held gatherings around the country online and in person. Now they’ve launched around-the-clock worship in the days leading up to the November elections. While the police killing of George Floyd sparked a nationwide and international conversation about racism and its effects, a new survey has found that practicing US Christians are less likely to acknowledge racial injustice this year (43%) than they were in 2019 (46%). Moreover, there was an increase in the percentage of those who said race is not a problem in America at all (19% in 2020, up from 11% in 2019), Barna reports. Contrary to corporate media narratives, up to 95 percent of this summer’s riots are linked to Black Lives Matter activism, according to data collected by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED). The data also show that nearly 6 percent — or more than 1 in 20 — of U.S. protests between May 26 and Sept. 5 involved rioting, looting, and similar violence, including 47 fatalities. It is estimated the insurance industry will have to pay between $1 billion and $2 billion in claims related to vandalism and looting that followed the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police on May 25, Axios reports. The FBI is opening a new counterintelligence probe of Chinese-linked threats “every 10 hours,” bureau Director Christopher Wray told Congress on Thursday, underscoring the threat Beijing poses to U.S. interests.

AUTHORITY, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/17/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“…Then the LORD asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth?… Is it not I, the LORD?.”
(Exodus 4:11, NLT)

Use What You Have
When God told Moses to go and tell Pharaoh, “Let My people go,” Moses said, “God, I can’t do that. I don’t speak well. I stutter.” Moses was saying, “God, I don’t have what it takes. You didn’t give me that gift. I’m afraid.” He kept making excuse after excuse until the Scripture says, “God became angry with Moses.” He was angry because Moses saw his gift as not enough. He’s displeased when we’re not using what He’s given us, when we’re making excuses, discounting our gifts. God said to Moses, “Who made your tongue?” He was saying, “Moses, I created the universe. I flung stars into space. You didn’t get shortchanged. You’re not lacking anything.” God would not ask you to do something if He hadn’t already given you what you need. Quit saying, “If I was as gifted or good looking as they are, I could do something great.” No, take the talent you have and develop it. If you’ll use what you have, God will give you more.

A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the gifts and the talents You put in me. Thank You that I don’t have to have what I think is a big gift for You to use me in a great way. I will be faithful to develop what You’ve given me and trust You to give me more as I increase it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Great thought this morning. And right on time. I just finished writing a letter of support for a young woman who wanted to settle for a C or D marriage. She has a brilliant mind, My counsel was to get busy with God’s work and Mr. Wright will come being prepared by God to be an A+ husband… That if we first seek the Kingdom of God that our Creator has told us that all the stuff we need will be added to us. So don’t go by who you use to be. In Christ Jesus you are a brand new Creation and need only to simple walk in the Spirit. Just in humility and loving obedience submit your freewill to the LORD with all your heart and the rest is then up to HIM.

That is a great story about Moses and his stuttering and so God sent along Aaron, his brother, to give him a hand. But once there, seems to me, Moses did all of the talking. Should get out that old copy of “The Ten Commandments” with Charlton Heston with the family sometime and watch it again… really a great film…I especially loved the scene where God wrote the big 10 in the rocks with Moses standing there…. Charlton Heston certainly made a great Moses….

In prayer last night was working with the Holy Spirit to get a better understanding of Godly Authority. In the world we have totally reversed the meaning of authority from what God has set for eternal authority. Man’s approach is to get authority by the use of one kind of force or another. Communists, Muslims and Hindus are all trying to gain power by killing others.
With God, Power is not an issue. His position is from all power and authority and comes from a position of LOVE. That we come to HIM in faith and love in humility because we want to learn how to become obedient. Because we see that being obedient to God is the very best way to live our lives.. God had created in our soul a freewill that is like HIM. The use of our freewill is totally up to us as to what we decide to do. We can choose the darkness or the light, up to us. I once had a vision of being in a totally black room. I was standing to the side of the room but I could not even make out what the room looked like as it was totally dark. Then Jesus opened the door on one end of the room and HIS brightness totally filled the room and HE walked across the room to the other side and made a door of white light and walked out that new door. So now the room had a light at one end and could be seen as all black with one door of pure white light. And as soon as HE left lucifer came in the black door with paint buckets and began to paint pastel colors all around the room. A little purple for pride, a little green for greed, a little pink for passion and so on till the only thing left in the room that was black was the door where he came into the room. And after the painting he left by that same black door. Now as we enter this temporary room or dimension of life as we know it and we are confronted with Pastels to choose from. But only Christ shines through as Savior, Priest and King with the balance of the 3 primary colors to make white light. So our Creator simply want’s us to learn to love, trust and obey Him so He can help us to become like Him and be HIS family for eternity. But He is not about to turn the darkness, pride and rebellion loose in HIS timeless universe. Look what is has done to planet earth. lucifer had a choice, Adam had a choice, Jesus had a choice and now you have a choice.

Pastor Boyd is believed to have been caught in crossfire after a gunfight broke out between two groups of men at The Village Flea Market and Mall. A British pastor who received threats of violence from LGBT supporters, including a threat to burn down his church, was recently told by local police that he could be breaking the law by expressing his view of homosexuality on social media, CBN News reported on September 8. WEIGHTS & BURDENS

WEIGHTS & BURDENS “WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/16/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“…Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, NLT)

Lay Aside the Weights
Sometimes it’s as though we’re carrying all these heavy bags around—a bag of guilt, another bag with all the mistakes we’ve made, then we add on a bag full of regrets. We go through life carrying around all of these bags, then we wonder why life is a struggle, why we’re tired, why we can’t accomplish a dream. It’s because you weren’t created to live with guilt, condemnation, and shame. The Scripture tells us to “lay aside the weights that can easily entangle us.” It’s time to lay aside those weights of guilt and shame and regret. It’s time to get rid of that baggage. This is a new day. The accuser has held you back long enough. Nothing you’ve done in the past is too much for the mercy of God. You are redeemed. You are restored. Shake off the guilt and the accusing voices and receive the gift of righteousness in Christ Jesus and rest for your soul.

A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that I can come to You and unload all the weight of heaviness, regrets, feelings of unworthiness. I am laying aside all those heavy bags and receiving Your gift of righteousness. I will rest in Your love and mercy and forgiveness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts,
Of course, all of the above, but also Unforgiveness and Stuff. When I moved from my home and Inn in 2018 after being there from 1971, I had to leave in a hurry as the new owners container full of their stuff arrived. So I hired a bunch of kids and got a ton of boxes and had them just load up (toss) everything and had a moving company move it to our new location. 3 years later my carport is still full of boxes, a Costco tent is full of stuff and a new shop still has to be sorted out… STUFF…. Some good and some trash but then my feet gave out, getting better now, so still looking at the stuff. Wife say just dump it all…. Hmmmmm???? But then there is some really good stuff in that mountain of stuff….So been looking for a hoarder expert to give me a hand. Not as bad as the show, but perhaps 30-40% accurate. But in the LORD need to get to -0-. I love the story of the Rich Young Ruler who was told to give it all to the poor…. Could put up a sign in my front yard, “Free Store” and see what happens. But then there is the virus and I am numbered among the endangered species list at my age of 88. But then there was another rich man and Jesus only borrowed his tomb for 3 nights, blessed it, and gave it back.

But an even bigger issue is unforgiveness. It makes us feel so spiritual and elevated to hold some ones else’s feet to the fires who has wronged us. And we get to justly talk stink about them any time we want to. Of course those who live in a glass house should learn not to throw rocks. And when we face the Eternal Judge of all things will we find mercy or judgment for our sins? Will we find mercy and grace or judgment and expulsion from God’s Kingdom of Righteousness. We need to understand that God’s forgiveness of us is totally dependent on what forgiveness we extend to each other. Jesus gave us an example of thoughts for us to pray through for finding mercy and grace and it goes like this.

Luke 1 AMP It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.” 2 He said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. 3 ‘Give us each day our daily bread. 4 ‘And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us [who has offended or wronged us]. And lead us not into temptation but rescue us from evil.”

Traditional Prayer that we are use to:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

But the LORD Jesus is trying to teach us something really important here. 1st off, GOD is the ultimate cause of all things, energy, matter, universe and including us and we need to understand that HE is a HOLY GOD. And that although HE has given us a freewill HE would like us to learn to become a Holy People and make the earth like HIS Kingdom above in righteousness. Also that we can depend upon HIM to provide for our needs and to forgive us in the same manner that we want HIM to forgive us during this temporary time of training and testing. And for us to seek His help to learn to stay away from the sins of youthful lusts and the pride of life and to help us to be truly free, for after all it is HIS Kingdom and Glory for eternity… So Be It. (So these words are an actual Holy Guide for Prayer and not a mindless mantra to be said without heart understanding, Well Worth Deeply Considering. You have one life time in which to figure it out.)

OBEDIENCE & FREEWILL “WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/15/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“…I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”(Romans 12:1, ESV)

The Mercies of God (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
You might as well recognize you’re a marked man, a marked woman. The Creator of the universe has His hand on your life. The sooner you surrender your will to His, the better off you’re going to be. You’re not giving up anything. You’re gaining purpose, your destiny, a life that He’s designed, a life more rewarding than you ever imagined.

A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for all of the times You’ve shown me such great mercy, protecting me from accidents and delivering me from mistakes I’ve made. I surrender my will to You, and I believe that You are leading me forward into the life that You designed for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Comments:
Amen, A great thought for not only today, but every day. We were originally created to, through our free will, to become the family of God. In Gen. 1 Moses tell us that God said, “Let us make Man in our Image and Likeness.” And the process began, and it was a process, as freewill needs the experience of choice. Adam and Eve made good choices in the beginning and Adam walked with God each evening in the learning process. Everything in the Garden was GOOD, Including the “The Tree of Knowledge” and might add “And Experience.” You see there are 2 ways to learn about a Mack Truck. 1. To believe someone about how dangerous it can be to be hit by one on a highway. Or 2. To be hit by the Mack Truck and learn for yourself. In order for there to be a test of free will and a growing and learning factor there had to be a NO! In the garden as well as the YES. And of course Free Will can not be manipulated in any way or it is not free will…

So Adam with Eve decided to go down the experience side of learning and took us along with them. And we were born into the world as it became as the results of their choice and later ours. But even from Adam & Eve God began a means for our restoration if we decided that we would like to go back to GO and start over. So for 4,000 years HE infused HIS Truth into HIS creation by sharing it with us through HIS prophets and the fruit of our choices to build a core of His Truth. Just about everything that Jesus taught in the New Testament can be found in the Old Testament. Even His first advent and life and way of death for us is all recorded in the Old Testament before it happened. That is why I usually sign of my notes and letters as: “Yours, in HIS great Love and wonderful Grace and Mercy.” As that is exactly our present experience if we will decide to accept it.

Now we have the history of 6,000 years of written humanity in our hands and we can easily decide to learn by faith in Joy rather than by experience, which can be rather painful. At least is has been for me. Just about every time I have made a decision outside of the teachings of the Bible it has either come to nothing as a waste of time or has been very painful going through the reaping process. On quick decision based upon wrong motives put me through 17 years of pain.

Our Creator never gives up on us is seeking to make us in HIS image and likeness as HE want’s to take us home to live with HIM when our freewill life testing is completed. But even then HE respects our free will. If we don’t want to conform to become in HIS image and likeness it is our option. If we don’t like HIS light and HIM being in charge we can defect. Unfortunately if we decide we don’t want to live with HIM there is nothing outside of HIM but outer darkness as per Jude 13. So don’t expect for God to also give you a new body and another world to destroy like what has been done to Earth. He as set up a time dimension of 7,000 years to accomplish the building of HIS eternal family. You and I have had a lifetime to decide whether we would like to be in HIS family or not. Whether we will in humility & obedience learn how to live with our Creator or not. Or through pride and rebellion try to carve out our own world in which we are our own king? But if you think that God is going to give your eternal soul another body and world to wreck, your elevator is not going to the top floor. You better read your New Testament more closely. The word used in the Bible for being in a place where God restricts His creative presence and does not go is called hell. And you have but one life time in which to decide where your eternal soul will spend eternity. And your soul will take with you into eternity all of the memories of this life and all of the opportunities and decisions that you have made with your free will while on earth. And your own life time words and actions, in the resurrection, will decide your eternal destiny for God’s creation and light or for profound darkness.

So if you are really interested in living eternally with God, GO FOR IT! Don’t let that decision be crowded out by the junk or people of this world. Even it is your own family that may be holding you back. Trust GOD and GO FOR IT and GOD will give you the grace to win for HIM. And it could even be the salvation of your own family? I know, I really want all to be saved in my family. And I know a prophet is not without honor except in his own family and people. And I know that most family now probably just hit the delete button. But bottom line, it is their freewill decision. And salvation is a matter of faith and not about good works.

Yours, in HIS great Love and Wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org

CALLED & CHOSEN 2

CALLED & CHOSEN 2 “WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/14/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this Monday morning from a church in Texas.)
Is it not obvious that God deliberately chose men and women that the culture overlooks and exploits and abuses, chose these “nobodies” to expose the hollow pretensions of the “somebodies”?…” (1 Corinthians 1:27, MSG)

Counted by the Creator
In Luke 9, when Jesus fed the five thousand, they only counted the men. They didn’t count the children or the women, who were regarded as second class, less than back then. Yet it was a small boy, the least likely among the crowd, who brought the lunch that fed the crowd. God uses people that other people don’t count.

Could it be that you’re not reaching your highest potential because you feel like you’re not counted, you’re lacking in some area, now you’re not expecting anything good, not pursuing your dreams? No, you need to have a new perspective. You’re a prime candidate for God to show out in your life. You may feel weak, but God wants to show Himself strong. You may feel like the least likely, but God wants to do something so amazing in your life that it will astound the people around you. You’ve been counted; you’ve been qualified. What God spoke over your life will come to pass.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that even if others discount me, You count me, and You are the only One who really matters. Thank You that You have qualified me to do what You have destined me to do. I believe that You will take what I have and multiply it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
We all from time to time try to self evaluate as to our value. Usually to pump ourselves up a bit. And of course the Bible teaches us to judge nothing before the time. What Time? HIS TIME, when at the 1st resurrection when we are all called to stand before HIM and come to Know even as we are Known…1 Cor.13…. You see, we are really locked in time now for a time of testing. But there will be a time, for those who survive, as in 1 Cor.13 where we see HIS light clearly and not through a smokey glass. A little boy went to a tent meeting in the back hills of the South. The preacher’s name was Mordicaha Ham. the little boy gave his heart to Christ Jesus as LORD. You probably never heard of Rev. Ham? And laughed if you did. But you may remember the little boy’s name, Billy Graham? Rev. Ham may have passed to be with the Lord before that little boy even grew up and may have had no idea of the value of that rural tent meeting being so important. But you better believe it, when it comes to light with Rev. Ham at the 1st Resurrection it will be seen to be some time well spent although many of us would never even go near such a meeting in the back hills of Kentucky or Tennessee.

https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/local/2018/02/21/billy-graham-credited-kentucky-preacher-becoming-evangelist/359969002/

So you really may never know what a Gospel tract about Jesus will do or some words about the Kingdom and the Gospel. A person may look as mean as a Louisiana Alligator and yet be ready for a change in life and looking for someone to help them out of the darkness and into the light.

If we really and truly follow the focus of our Lord Jesus Christ, He was all about gathering souls into HIS Kingdom. It was about a NEW TESTAMENT in giving HIS Church authority to go win one for HIM in bringing the Kingdom of God to Earth. I love the scriptures in John 17:20-22 “I do not pray for these alone [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for [all] those who [will ever] believe and trust in Me through their message, 21 that they all may be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe [without any doubt] that You sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one;’

So Jesus prayed for me & you back then that we would find unity with HIM and with HIS GLORY (Power) bring others to HIM as LORD. And the whole prayer (chapter) concerns HIS prayer for our unity. And you could add to this if we don’t bother to find that loving unity then we will not enjoy HIS power. And that also seems to be the state of HIS Church today. Massive divisions, no power.

Unity can not be found when both parties only want to win. So we tend to agree to disagree which goes no where and we go away thinking we are godly. But in a Loving Commitment of finding God’s Truth and allowing God’s Truth to prevail, we find Jesus and the Holy Spirit and Power. So divisions should be seen as an awesome opportunity to find more of God’s Truth in LOVE. As we speak, HIS Truth in LOVE, we grow up into HIM in all things. Eph. 4:15 in fact the thought found in Eph.4:11-16 is the heart of the vision for the LORD’s CHURCH….. Go to Bible Gateway and read this scripture in many translation until you really know the substance. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians%204&version=AMP

Today’s Scripture: “Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to o be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion…” (Isaiah 30:18, NIV)

He Gives You His World
Do you ever think about the way your heavenly Father feels about you? He’s been thinking about you a long time. Jesus says, “It is the Father’s good pleasure to the give you the kingdom.” He doesn’t say, “Okay, you’re here, and I have to take care of you, but you’re a pain.” No, you’re not a burden to God.

You’re not inconveniencing Him. You’re the apple of His eye. He’s saying to you, “I can’t wait to give you My world.” His world is big, abundant, full of favor, joy, peace, and opportunity. He’s going to take you places you never dreamed, open doors bigger than you have imagined, and bring talent out of you that you didn’t known you had. He loves showing you favor, doing things that amaze you, making you stand out. He takes pleasure in giving you His world. Stir your faith up, believe big, pray bold prayers, and dream God-sized dreams that honor Him. Keep Him first place.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your heart of compassion that longs to be gracious to me. Thank You that it is Your pleasure to give me the kingdom, to give me Your world. I am taking the limits off You and expecting to be surprised by Your goodness and love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
A few issues come to mind of what God can not do. God can not violate HIS own Word. God can not stop the sowing and reaping process. God can not make you do anything. HE has given you a freewill and HE honors your decisions. He honors even your wrong decisions. He gave the world to Adam to subdue and replenish. But Adam got conned into giving the world to lucifer. So Jesus calls lucifer the god of this world. Of course, HE came to buy it back. He came to undue what Adam had done. He came to set us free of Adam’s Pride and Rebellion and death if we would like to have it.

Often we make selfish and bad decisions. We get caught with our hand in the cooky jar. The penalty related comes down and we get mad at God for not saving us. We sow to the flesh and of the flesh we reap corruption and then get upset with God. I have had pregnant girls come to me for counseling help and with repentance for being promiscuous, but as yet I have never see the baby disappear. Even though I felt they were totally repentant and changed in heart. So all of the beautiful promises of God above are for the obedient children who are beyond the sowing and reaping laws of disobedience.. The have been sowing God seeds and then the God crop starts to grow. So make sure your foundations are in God before you expect God to show up with the blessings as are seen above. Those blessings only come with humility and loving obedience. So when bad things happen look for what you have been planting of the flesh. Job is a really good story to understand about this. Job went through 42 chapters of hell, why, because he would not let go of his fears. The more that God blessed him the greater his fears became of loosing it. He was fearful of loosing his children, his wealth and his health. So finally God had to allow lucifer to take it all away. And the story goes that Job came to himself and said, “Well, necked came I into this world and necked go I forth, praise be the name of God.” He learned his lesson well and God restored all that had been taken and double. But what got him into the mess was. “That which I greatly feared, came upon me.” In God’s creation, fear is faith going backwards. Fear help make happen what you are afraid of. Funny thing about the story of Job is that he had no fears concerning his wife and nothing happened to her at all. She did give Job some bad advice during his reaping, however. So you can expect to reap what you sow and some times those decisions can take years to resolve. Except in the case of Heart Repentance in and with Christ Jesus as LORD.

Yours in His great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<><

INTEGRITY OF HEART

ALOHA SAINTS, FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me. John 3:14-18

INTEGRITY OF HEART,
    “WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/10/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk last night from a church in Texas.)
“I will walk with integrity of heart within my house…” (Proverbs 4:23, NIV)

Be a Person of Integrity
Solomon said, “A good name is worth more than great riches.” Your reputation is one of the most valuable things you have, and it is built on the foundation of your personal integrity. A person of integrity does the right thing when no one is watching. You can have talent, determination, and vision, but without integrity, you won’t reach your full potential.

Where does it start? In today’s Scripture, David was saying, “Starting in my private life, when I could compromise, give in to temptation, cheat people, instead I’m going to do the right thing. I’m going be a person of excellence and show God that He can trust me.” He went on to say, “I will not look at anything impure. I won’t watch things that are going to poison me. I will not have anything to do with crooked dealings, things that are shady, not ethical.” Your name is too important to let it become tarnished by not having integrity.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that down at the foundation of my life I can be a person of integrity, someone who’s true to You no matter what. Thank You that as I honor You, You are a shield of protection to me. I will not let small things keep me from Your big blessings. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
Watching the news today, it would seem the whole country has completely lost it’s integrity. Unless you go back to the sources, sometime not possible, you have no way of know what is the truth. One of the founding fathers of our government noted that our form of government would not last without moral and ethical people in office. So let’s take a look at the deep meanings of the word INTEGRITY:

in·teg·ri·ty noun 1. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. “he is known to be a man of integrity” honesty, uprightness, probity. rectitude, honor, honorableness, upstandingness, good character, principle(s), ethics, morals, righteousness, morality, nobility, high-mindedness, right-mindedness, noble-mindedness, virtue, decency, fairness, scrupulousness, sincerity, truthfulness, trustworthiness. 2. the state of being whole and undivided. “upholding territorial integrity and national sovereignty” Similar: unity, unification, wholeness, coherence, cohesion, undividedness. So if we were to give God a blank report card on the above parts of Integrity, how would you do? How much greasy grace & sloppy agape do you feel that our Creator will allow in HIS Kingdom considering the mess we have made here.

Don’t we have an awful time keeping our integrity in this world especially when some soul shows up at our door and want’s the time to be friends. If we take a hard look at integrity we tend to white lie a lot. Somebody asks me how I feel, my feet hurt and I had a fight with my wife and I say just fine because I really don’t want to talk to them about it. And you know what, the Holy Spirit is just itching to help us clean up our personal integrity if we will allow HIM to. But HE is very much of a gentle man and will not push or manipulate. If we want to sow weed seeds, it is up to us. But later we will have to spend time pulling the weeds. The Holy Spirit will simply wait until we are up for correction.

When I was 16 and in a Foster Home in Oakland, CA, Mr. Barns, the director, called me into his office one afternoon. He talked to me about my integrity. He told me that never in his experience had he ran into a kid that could rationalize like I could. At the time I almost felt like I was getting an A on my homework. But I was in Summer School, College Level, and did end up with A’s and B’s on 11 unites which allowed me to graduated from secondary school in 1950. So he had my keys and did good. But the discipline was short lived as I was soon in the Army and learned how to be Beetle Baily. In fact until Jesus scraped me up in 1955 I lived mostly in the arms of lack of integrity.

In my Christian experience the first church I was attached to was lovingly, very permissive. No one wanted to make ripples. It was a small boring box for about 13 years. Kept me pointed towards Jesus but I never learned how to eat spiritual meat. I found that God’s plan for us is to really help us by HIS grace to become completely sanctified to where we become like HIM. He wants us housebroken before we go home. Now at this point I am losing some of you, but hang on and consider this next verse of scripture. 1 John 4:17: “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.” Not much preached on this subject but the thought runs clear through the New Testament. To get in, Jesus must be LORD….

CENTER OF YOUR WORLD

ALOHA SAINTS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me…. John 3:14-18

CENTER OF YOUR WORLD, “WORTH CONSIDERING 9/9/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it…” (Proverbs 4:23, NIV)

Guard Your Heart
One of our most important responsibilities is to keep our hearts pure. It’s easy to let what’s on the outside get on the inside. It takes discipline to say, “I’m not going to dwell on that offense. I’m not going to feel sorry for myself because something didn’t work out.” Maybe you need to forgive somebody, or maybe you’re still sour about a dream that didn’t work out, or maybe you’re still beating yourself up over a mistake you made. You only have so much emotional energy each day. It’s not an unlimited supply. Do you know how much energy it takes to hold a grudge, to go around offended? That’s wasting valuable energy that you need for your dreams, for your children, and for your destiny. Life is too short for you to live offended, unforgiving, and bitter over what didn’t work out. Quit letting what’s on the outside get on the inside; start guarding your heart.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can guard my heart and keep it pure from all the negative things that try to enter in. I declare that I will not allow offenses to get inside. I want Your stream of grace to flow unhindered in and through my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments: (ken@trinity-Aloha.org)
Actually it is not that easy for the outside to get on the inside. But once it does it is like pulling teeth to get it out. The Bible calls the ed or sub-conscious mind the “HEART” So our conscious mind is the gateway to our heart. I tend to be a people watcher and grew up on movies as a kid on Saturday would spend the whole day in the Grand Theater for .10 cents. But most of the movies from 1937 on were under a code for decency and had clear moral values. Bad buys lost, Good guys won. Popcorn .5 cents. News reel, cartoon, serial Captain Marvel and two films. Stay as long as you like. So still like movies but have found that there are some that I just can not watch in comfort. So I don’t. But we all know Junk in, Junk out. And with inflation, costs a lot more today than then.

Some Dr. wrote that it takes about 20 times of liking something in the mind before the heart starts to beat the same beat. I feel there is some truth to that concept as the more times I use a verse out of the Bible the easier it is to remember and find. So as I get it in my heart that this world is not really my home that I am just passing through the less it tend to distract me from what I really want to do with the rest of my life. I wrote a letter along this line to a young lady who is in the process of making this very difficult change and felt to pass it along today:

Letter:
Actually Jesus came to serve and to teach us how to serve each other. Even at 88, I make my bed in the morning and clean up my own room, take my own shower and make my breakfast, clean up after myself and do as much for my self as I can so no one will need to look after me. Even pick up stuff from the floor and take the trash to the dump if need be. So you may have a big learning curve here in not only being personally responsible for yourself but in helping other do what they may not be able do for themselves. And if you have assets or savings you may need to see them as being owned by our LORD and subject to what HE wants us to do with them. In reality we are temporary steward of what has been entrusted to us by the LORD. And personally, really I enjoy living that way. When I made Jesus my LORD it included everything that I had including my wife and children. HE is LORD (Master) of all or HE is not LORD at all.

The basic key is Jesus needs to be the center of our Life and not us. When we are the center of our life, then our happiness is related to what we get. When Jesus is the center then our concern and happiness is really in what pleases HIM. When we are the center our life it is all about this world. When Jesus is the center then we are focused on eternity and helping others find the way with us to HIM, those who do the will of God abide forever. And what ever is sown in this world will find root and produce in kind later. The negativity being produced in the world today is awesome. The crop that will return will be of greater pain than anyone can imagine. Many of the world’s governments are saying today that God does not exist. But HE does. It is only that HE totally respects every souls right to make full use of their freewill. The people in China thought that socialism was a good idea and believed the lies and enough people got behind it to make it the rule. Now 10% live off of the other 90% and life has little value. Not exactly what was promised in the beginning, but now, perhaps too late to do much about it. The U.S. is now under attack by the same bunch of lies. Nov. 4th will determine if most of the U.S. folks believe the lies or not? But the Kingdom of God is not of this world and this world passes away and only those who do the Will of God, will abide for eternity.

OBEDIENCE & TRADITIONS
, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/8/20, From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture
“Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time: “Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.” (Jonah 3:1–2, NIV)

Second Chances
After Jonah’s first refusal to go and preach to the city of Nineveh, God in His mercy used a great fish to rescue Jonah from certain death. The story could have ended there, but God doesn’t want to just rescue you from your mess, He wants to give you another chance to get to where you’re supposed to be. That mistake doesn’t disqualify you. God is always going to give you another chance and another to fulfill His best plan for your life.

The second time God told Jonah to go to the city of Nineveh, he obeyed and saw God do amazing things. The point is, Jonah’s mistake did not stop his destiny. It’s not too late to become everything you were created to be. If you’ll start right where you are, honoring God, being your best, serving others, the right doors will open, the right people will show up. The good news is, you’re covered by mercy.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that when I make a mistake and cause a mess, You don’t say, ‘Too bad, you had your chance, you’re on your own.’ Thank You for Your mercy that covers me and gives me second chances. I believe You will get me to where I’m supposed to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments: www.Trinity-Aloha.org Ken@Trinity-Aloha.org
Really, I love the story about Jonah. From the 1st time I heard it in an Episcopal Church Sunday School Class. My parents were neither of them religious but they wanted their only son to have some morals and ethics and so took me often to Sunday School. Each of the O.T. stories has a good lesson from Adam to John. Not much about Jesus that was for church on Sunday morning. Now getting baptized was my entree into Spiritual Stuff. At 19 months I remember lividly my baptism. We, as a family went to town, which was always fun. But something was up as they put new shoes on my feet and dressed me up rather proper with blue shorts and a white shirt and with golden Curly hair I cut quite the picture. I remember my dad carrying me under his right arm like a sack of potatoes into this really big barn with lots of people sitting on thin pieced of wood with a bunch of shinny stuff and candles up front. I thought we were going to Dinner. As in the South when a bunch of people get together there was always food, but I could not smell anything good to eat. Then he turned to the left toward some men dressed in black at a big stone bowl full of water but nothing in it to eat. By that time I was getting a little antsy and then my dad gave me to one of those guys and he tipped me over and began to say a blessing over the food? When there wasn’t any. And then he started putting water on my head and all I could think of was Aunt Susie cleaning a chicken for dinner. About that time I let out a howl that filled that barn but they kept going and so did I. They finally gave up and let me go and I hit the ground running and got out of the crazy place. Later that guy in black came out the front porch with two ladies and I let him know what I felt about it with a couple of hands full of rocks. I have laughed about the experience for years as I am sure the Lord has as well but it points up the fact that the meaning behind what we do does not always register clearly with others. We have become so traditional that we think we are clear, but we are not. And then we walk away condemning the other person for being stupid. Much of the Bible has been abused in just that way. Things are removed from their context and in today’s conversation become meaningless. A Chinese friend was asked of a car shipping company for her ”pick up address” twice and she did not know what he was talking about so gave the destination of the car, twice, he got angry. So it is imperative for those of us really living in and with Jesus to be patient with the world in their misunderstandings of spiritual truth. Yesterday over the phone I was explaining to a very dear brother that it was in really in making Jesus our LORD (Master, Boss) that HE becomes our savior. It is clear completely through the New Testament. And yet the normal Christian points to their Church Membership or being good to confirm that Jesus is their savior and that they are destined to go to heaven because they consider themselves good people. But in their life style, you can not tell them to be different from the world. Being a Christian ultimately frees one totally from this world and all of it’s manipulations. We become pilgrims who are just passing through and lovingly tell all we can that the ticket has been paid, the water of life is free with Jesus as LORD. We know this when even our thought life comes under the discipline and authority of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; For the perfecting of the Saints, Eph. 4:11-16. Most don’t even know that the Saints, The Elect, Those going to heaven are expected to be perfected in Christ Jesus as LORD by the Holy Spirit ? We try to make God in our image, God wants us to choose to be in HIS image including our freewill, Who do you expect will win. God is not going to allow man’s Rebellion and Pride into HIS eternal world. Look at what man’s pride has done to this one.

Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> A Chinese aviation company has apparently been test flying its new stealth fighter jet that aims to match America’s F-35s, and which could be a candidate for its next generation of ship-borne warplanes. U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday raised the idea of separating the U.S. and Chinese economies, also known as decoupling, suggesting the U.S. would not lose money if the two countries no longer did business. Saudi Arabia’s King Salman praised US President Donald Trump for Washington’s diplomatic efforts in the region in a phone call Sunday, days after a top White House official visited to press the kingdom on normalization with Israel. Wildfires have burned more than 2 million acres in California this year, setting a state record even as crews battled dozens of growing blazes in sweltering temperatures Monday that strained the electrical grid and threatened power outages for millions. The conservative Faith and Freedom Coalition (FFC) has mobilized hundreds of Conservative Evangelical and Catholic volunteers to knock on nearly 1 million doors in their efforts to get President Donald Trump re-elected in November, the Christian Post reports. Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her.” (Genesis 17:16, NKJV)

More Than You Can Imagine
Sarah and her husband, Abraham, were very old. Sarah had been barren her whole life and not able to have children, but God spoke today’s Scripture to Abraham. When Sarah heard this, it was so unbelievable that she laughed. She was out in the desert, there were no fertility treatments or medical procedures, and she was ninety years old. Every circumstance said it was impossible, and yet it happened. God was saying, “Sarah, what I put in you is more than you can imagine.”

God is saying the same thing to you: “What I put in you is still going to come to pass. There is greatness in you. It’s much bigger than what you think.” Don’t let circumstances talk you out of your dreams and potential. You may not see how it can work out. God has ways to do it that you’ve never thought of. One touch of God’s favor will catapult you to the next level.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the dreams, the promises, the potential, the seeds of greatness that You put inside me. Thank You for the divine connections, the explosive blessings, and the supernatural opportunities You have in my future. I believe I will give birth to my dreams. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
I sometime have a spiritual barf when promises are taken out of context and applied to a totally different situation. God, said this to Abraham, the father of faith, Not to everyone. Heb.11 is a whole chapter on how faith works. The Bible teaches us that Abraham believed God and it was counted as righteousness. It is the same for us. In my study about Abraham I am often spiritually jealous of Abraham’s ability to hear the voice of God. How did he get such clear reception? He had no doubts in his heart at all about taking Isaac up on the mountain to make him a sacrifice. Of course it was a test to reveal Abraham’s heart to Abraham as God already knew and had already caught the ram in the thicket for the sacrifice. And of course the sacrifice looked ahead for about 2,000 years later when Jesus would be that final sacrifice for our sins as in Isa.53…. Start reading in Isa. 52:9 to catch the context.

So don’t let anyone ever take something written for someone out of context and make it a personal application for you. Sometime Christians have told me that the feel they have Paul’s ‘Thorn” in the flesh. And I laugh and ask them if their name is Paul? And did you prostrate yourself on the floor when God was talking to you about it? NO! Than just pure assumption. And of course God so loved the world (each of us) that HE gave his only begotten son to take the penalty of our sin. But that is also conditional on us making Him LORD. So, really, each of us can find examples of the People of God in History of what God can do. But each of us is totally responsible, before God, of what we do with what HE has given us. Rom.1:17-20 So let us start from there: “For in the gospel, the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.”18 For [God does not overlook sin and] the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them [in their inner consciousness], for God made it evident to them. 20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. Need to read this again, carefully….. and again…. God has set it up so only those who really want to know, can find, Luke 11:9-12, ““So I say to you, ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who [a] keeps on asking [persistently], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently], the door will be opened. 11 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!” (2nd Work of Grace, Gift of the Holy Spirit to HIS children…)
