THANKSGIVING “WORTH CONSIDERING” 11/26/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a Church in Texas.)
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. (Psalm 100:4, NIV)

Enter with Thanksgiving
What an amazing privilege we have to serve a personal God who desires a relationship with us. But notice that today’s Scripture tells us that we shouldn’t come empty-handed to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. What do we have to give that’s worthy of Almighty God? Our praise. Our thanksgiving. Our worship. We should always enter His gates with an offering of thanksgiving from our hearts. Praise isn’t just about singing songs in church. Praise is the expression of gratefulness to God for Who He is and all that He has done. Praise gets God’s attention. Praise is a powerful tool in our life because God inhabits the praises of His people! When we enter His presence the right way, He enters our circumstances; and when God shows up, the enemy must flee! Today, enter into His gates with thanksgiving and open the door for Him to move on your behalf!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can come to You with a heart full of thanksgiving. I have so much to be grateful for because of Your goodness. You are good, and Your mercy endures forever! Thank You for doing exceedingly abundantly above all I could ever ask or imagine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Thankfulness is rather a deep and intense subject. Seems it should be simple concerning the good things that come our way, especially in this country. We have had it so good for so long that we have no idea, really of how the other half of the world lives. And Apostle Paul give us a prophesy in 2 Tim.3 about it as follows: But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, 3 [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them. And also in Romans 1: For [God does not overlook sin and] the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them [in their inner consciousness], for God made it evident to them. 20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. 21 For even though [d] they knew God [as the Creator], they did not [e] honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation]. On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God for [f] an image [worthless idols] in the shape of mortal man and birds and four-footed animals and reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their own hearts to [sexual] impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them [abandoning them to the degrading power of sin], 25 because [by choice] they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen…” and much more on the subject in that chapter of introduction to the Church in Rome.

But the real difficulty comes in having the attitude of being blessed and to be thankful for any and all persecution that comes our way as HIS light shines through us in this world of the darkness of the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life. It is to have faith at that time and to be thankful to be called to suffer that others might see HIM in us. We often tend to hide and to adjust our life style so that the world can not see Jesus in us and we can stay out of trouble. The Word of God tells us that any one that lives Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. So if there is no persecution, you may want to evaluate the LIGHT factor in your life. The darkness of this world hated the LIGHT that Jesus brought to earth. It will be the same for us if we are for real a True Christian.

Yours, in HIS great Love and wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<>< www.trinity-aloha.org

There is but ONE Church of Christ Jesus as LORD,
And all who Love, Honor and Obey HIM are eternal members.

Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> The U.S president of an influential Christian broadcaster warned Wednesday that American churches could face similar persecution as denominations in Algeria. The Trump legal team has a “mountain” of evidence showing voting fraud that the public has yet to see and could tilt the election away from President-elect Joe Biden, according to Rudy Giuliani. The Israel Defense Forces have in recent weeks been instructed to prepare for the possibility that the U.S. will conduct a military strike against Iran before President Trump leaves office, senior Israeli officials tell me. The Trump administration plans to tighten sanctions on Tehran during its final months in power, the top US envoy on Iran said on Wednesday, as he urged President-elect Joe Biden to use the leverage to press for a deal that reduces the regional and nuclear threats posed by the Islamic Republic. (Of course this is a lie as we have seen by past experiences with Iran.) Ken

I personally believe that Trump actually won the election but if not returned to power that we can expect some very difficult times. With the Biden administration headed into socialism we can expect any savings to be raided. And the value of the dollar to collapse very quickly.
