COMMANDMENTS

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

COMMANDMENTS,     “WORTH CONSIDERING”    10/21/19   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands…you will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country…”
(Deuteronomy 28:1-3, NIV)
Blessed Wherever You Go

Do you want to experience more of God’s blessing in your life? Living in obedience and integrity is the key that unlocks the door to His abundance. When you put God first place in your life, you’ll be blessed in the city and in the country—you’ll be blessed wherever you go! Deuteronomy 28 goes on to say that you will be so blessed that you will lend and not borrow. Can you see yourself in that position? Can you see yourself living in that kind of abundance? God doesn’t want you to be living with a barely-get-by attitude. We don’t serve a barely-get-by God; our God is more than enough! He wants you to have more than enough to meet your needs and be a blessing to the people around you. Today, make room in your life for the blessing of God. Choose to live in obedience to His Word and be blessed wherever you go!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your hand of blessing on my life. I choose today to put You first in everything I do. Help me to walk in integrity and follow Your commands so that I can honor You always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
John 4:23-24 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”  “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:”  Eph.4:15

TRUTH?  So lets look at that:  Jesus said,  “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6.   So the question is, do we really believe that to be the TRUTH?  Are we really trying to find HIS TRUTH and walk it out?   Or do we have HIS room for HIS TRUTH and our room for our truth?  The Jews totally missed out as they exchanged their vain traditions for God’s Truth.   They looked the part but Jesus said they were full of dead men’s bones.  Matt.23:27.    And there are so many who call themselves Christian today but have no concern or love for the lost souls around them and concerns for this life only.  The little letters of John are especially packed full of GOD’S TRUTH.  If interested in God’s Truth meditate on these little letters in your search for God’s Truth or commandments.  And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” 1 John 3:23-24.

We live in a world of lying illusions where we are carefully programmed that in order to be happy we must have things or security.  But Jesus teaches: And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”  Luke 12:15”   “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”Luke 9:24     In Hebrews we find this:  Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Heb.13:2  In the past year,  how many total strangers have you fed and entertained seeking to help them know the Good News of salvation or to find out if they were a messenger (angel) from God?  Or how about this one?  23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;  24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.  25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.” Matt. 5:23-25.

And after considering the little letters of John do the same with James and Jude…  and make notes of the commandments to consider and to implement if serious about being a Christian. Yes, Salvation is truly and totally by faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus.  But if actions do not accommodate that faith in Christ Jesus as LORD then James teaches that that kind of faith is “dead” or worthless.

Hawaiian Missionaries

Death of King  Kamehameha     https://trinity-aloha.org/history/history-of-hawaii/

Nov. 1819, King Kamehameha died five months before the missionaries arrived and they had no knowledge of his death before their departure. In less than 6 months after his death, and as the missionaries were at sea, the Kapu system had been dissolved, and a civil war had taken place. Only the creator of the universe, Jehovah, could have known of these timely events. In the midst of this chaos, the stage is set for the entrance of the missionaries with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in peace, tranquility, truth and Aloha.

“I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands.” Isaiah 42:8‑12

After the death of Kamehameha I, in November of 1819 and before the arrival of Christian missionaries, doubts about the ancient religion led to its abandonment by the regent, Ka’ahumanu, and Liholiho (Kamehameha II). Traditionalists rallied to Kekuakalani, custodian of the war god. Here, in the Battle of Kuamo’o they were defeated by the Monarchy troops led be the premier, Kalanimoku, and the old religion died in a blaze of musket fire. Both sides had firearms, and more than 300 were killed, including Kekuaokalani and his wife Manono. The dead were interred in the rock cairns visible on this lava field in the Lekeleke Burial Grounds at Kuamo’o Bay at Keauhou.  The kapu system was finally destroyed by the Hawaiian Monarchy and the priests & kahunas were overthrown, killed or dispersed, temples were demolished and the kapu’s shattered. This was the end result of the bondage and pain caused by the kapu system and the privileged treatment that was demanded by the kahunas. This action resulted in both peace and a great spiritual vacuum for the Hawaiians as a people.

3/30/1820 The ship Thaddeus arrived with Congregational Missionaries to Hawaii. And began to teach the people against the orgies, opium dens, soliciting of native women and other forms of vice. The missionaries were not versed in Hawaiian customs but they did know about the serious problems concerning the STD’s of their days and tried to, unsuccessfully, help the Hawaiian people avoid this great scourge. The Hawaiian people who remained after the great plagues of death through that century owe their lives to the 1820 missionaries. These missionaries came by invitation of Henry Opuakahaia of 1809 and the Hawaiian Alii. The Hawaiian people had heard about the “Torch of Life” of Jesus Christ and were searching for a new spiritual ethos. So as the Christian faith came in 1820  thousands were taught “The Way” and found peace in the Christian faith

It was obvious to the missionaries that God had prepared the way for Hawaii. The great Hawaiian miracle had taken place and all of the obstacles that could have prevented the Gospel from being preached had been removed. Even Hewahewa the highest kahuna (priest) and direct descendant of Paau, the original Kahuna from Tahiti, was the first to set fire to a heiau (temple). He declared: “I knew the wooden images of deities, carved by our own hands, could not supply our wants, but worshiped them because it was a custom of our fathers. My thoughts has always been, there is only one great God, dwelling in the heavens.” Hewahewa also prophesied that a new God was coming and he went to Kawaihae to wait for the new God, at the very spot were the missionaries first landed.  Psalms 2: 6-8    Yet have I set My king upon my holy hill of Zion.  7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.  8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.   “The Life of the Land is Perpetuated in Righteousness.”

The Return of the King

Very Important Last days Prophesy:

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,   (Return of the King.)   10/19/19

Seems like things in the world are now quickly lining up as per the prophecies  of Christ Jesus:  Matt. 24,  Mark 13 and Luke 21  for the end of this age called, “The end of the age of the Gentiles.”

It seems in scripture that the Creation of this World was made for the purpose of giving our eternal souls an opportunity to choose HIS light in obedience or not.   Our dimension of time is really temporary and will eventually cease to exist.   What will be left will the the Kingdom of God in Light on one side.   And on the other,  as Jude 13, calls it,  “The blackness of darkness for ever.”  You should read the little book of Jude to get the full picture of what is going on.

So along with every thing else we need to prep for some tough times ahead.   My list is something like this:   Clean Water,  Food,  Health Needs,  Power,  Security  & Stuff to barter.  If you live in a big city, that is where suffering will be the most.  An EMP could destroy every computer chip so will not be able to depend on anything made with a computer chip unless we have a back up chips protected in a Faraday Cage.

If you have an area that could grow food then you will need the tools and seeds ahead and enough food to last for at least 6 month’s.   If you have a solar system to run a dehydrator you can get water from the air.

If you are interested in this,  write me and let me know.   I would be happy to share with you what we are up to and my paper on the Return of The King.  ken@trinity-aloha.org

These are not things we really want to consider now it is easy to simply go to the store.  But Biblically we have been warned and so the rest is up to us.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy,   Ken<><

CHANGE

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,   John 3:16-18

CHANGE,     “WORTH CONSIDERING”   10/18/19   (Across my desk this morning and very important.)

Today’s Scripture
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will…”
(Romans 12:2, NIV)
Be Transformed

In the original Bible language, the word “transform” is “metamorpho.” It’s where we get our word “metamorphose.” When a caterpillar changes from a little worm-like larva into a beautiful butterfly, it is called metamorphosis. The caterpillar starts out as possibly one of the most unattractive insects. It’s very plain, nothing special about it. But God destined the caterpillar to go through a transformation. It goes from being one of the most ordinary creatures to one of the most beautiful, colorful and graceful. Instead of having to crawl on the ground, it can now fly to wherever it wants to go.

Paul is saying that if you’ll get your thoughts going in the right direction and not dwell on negative, condemning, “not able to” thoughts, and program your mind with what God says about you, then a transformation will take place. The only way to release your butterfly is to get your thinking in line with God’s Word. If you will keep renewing your mind and agreeing with what God says about you, it’s just a matter of time before that transformed person comes out. When your thoughts are better, your life will be better.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the work You are doing in my life. I surrender every part of my being to You. Thank You for transforming me as I keep my heart and mind stayed on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Our Creator God has given us a free will to choose HIS light or remain in the darkness.  Your soul is eternal.  If you really want to be with the light and with your Creator for eternity, you will have to change.  Hope to see you tonight for HouseChurch.   Be Blessed in your day,  Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

GREAT QUOTES on DISCERNMENT

"To discern spirits we must dwell with Him who is holy, and He will give the revelation and unveil the mask of Satanic power on all lines." - Smith Wigglesworth "Discernment is not a matter of simply telling the difference between right and wrong; rather it is telling the difference between right and almost right." - Charles Spurgeon "Know your HOLY GOD intimately. (When you have seen His glory, His holiness and His love - by drawing close to Him in prayer - then you can usually see through any counterfeits because you know the "real thing" so well)." - Andrew Strom "With discernment comes division. A person who seeks to be discerning must be willing to suffer the effects of this division. It will divide not only believer from unbeliever, but it may even divide a discerning believer from one who is undiscerning. It will separate the mature from the immature, the naïve from the prudent." - Tim Challies "The man who thinks he can know the Word of God by mere intellectual study is greatly deceived. Spiritual truth is spiritually discerned." - Samuel Chadwick "Many may boast in the depth of their Bible knowledge and in the excellency of their theological tenets, but those with spiritual discernment are aware that it is dead." - Watchman Nee "Instead of REPENTANCE, people are getting all kinds of counterfeit spiritual experiences. There seems to be almost no discernment at all." - Andrew Strom "A tender conscience is an inestimable blessing; that is, a conscience not only quick to discern what is evil, but instantly to shun it as the eyelid closes itself against the mote." - Assorted Authors "The first point of wisdom is to discern that which is false; the second, to know that which is true." - Assorted Authors "Let us, then, cultivate an attitude of courage as over against the investigations of the day. None should be more zealous in them than we. None should be more quick to discern truth in every field, more hospitable to receive it, more loyal to follow it wherever it leads." - B.B. Warfield

YOUR WORDS

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,   John 3:16-18

YOUR WORDS,        “WORTH CONSIDERING”    10/17/19  (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be…”
(James 3:10, NIV)
Are You in the Business of Blessing?

The Scripture encourages us to use our words to bless people. “To bless” means to speak well of, to pronounce favor, and to declare good things. People in your life need to receive your blessing, especially your spouse and children. Are you giving your children the blessings of love, affection and encouragement? Are you speaking words that build them up and bless their future?

You may not have received this approval from your own parents. Perhaps there wasn’t a lot of love in your home. Perhaps your mom or dad always talked down to you. Let us challenge you to be the one to break the stronghold over your family. Decide today that you are going to stop talking down to others. Choose instead to encourage others. Stop focusing on what others are doing wrong and start thanking them for what they are doing right. Begin right now to bless others’ futures. Your decision to be a positive influence will have a greater impact on your family than you could ever imagine. It will affect generations to come. Speak these blessings over your family, your children, and those whom you love and care for. If you will bless others, God will certainly bless your own life beyond what you ever hoped or dreamed.

A Prayer for Today
“God, I want to use my words to bless, encourage, and lift others up. Help me to start today, in my own home, to purposefully use what I say to bless my friends and family. Give me uplifting words to say and the discipline to keep negative criticisms to myself. In Jesus’ name – Amen”

My Thoughts,
We grow up today in a culture that finds great humor in demeaning some one.  Putting some one down.  There is even a show on TV where they “ROAST” someone and call it good humor.  In my family, as the only child,  I can not remember one time where my parents were not fighting and roasting each other.  Can not remember a hug or word of encouragement.   It has been really difficult for me and for many to try to change in Christ Jesus,  we lean heavily on God’ grace.  James teaches us that our tongue is the most difficult member of our body to control.  Many many scriptures in the New Testament concerning the power of words.

And in the Old Testament there is a powerful statement that Life and Death are in the power of the tongue.  Prov. 18:21

Moses tells us in Deut. 30:19,   I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”

Scriptures to prayerfully consider:
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  Matt.12:36.  But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Mark 13:11.      Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  John 3:11.    Jesus said,  “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life, John 6:63.”    “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, (love) I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal, 1 Cor. 13:1.”     “I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather (especially) that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying, ! Cor. 14:5.”   “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ,  Eph.4:15.”     ” Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice, Eph.4:31.”     Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;  2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth,  Eph.4:1-3.” But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: Titus 2:1.”   “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him,  Heb. 12:5.”    ” See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven, Heb.12:25.”    “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath,  James 1:19.”  “Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 1 Pet.2-1.”    “Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation, 1 Pet.2:12.”    “If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Pet 4:11.”  15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.  Jude 15-21.”

This is a very short version of Biblical references concerning the power of words.

Yours, in HIS GREAT LOVE and watch what you say….  Ken<><   (Past blogs may be found at “Worth Considering” on our home page:  www.Trinity-Aloha.org

JUDGMENT

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,   Beloved of God,    John 3:16-18

JUDGMENT     “WORTH CONSIDERING”    10/16/19   (Across my desk this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“The Lord will judge and determine and solve and settle the cause and the cases of His people…”  Heb. 10:30
Be Free to Forgive!

Are you dealing with an “unsolved case” from your past that needs resolution? You might have been through some bad breaks. People may have said things about you and done things to you that hurt and offended. Are you waiting for your day of justice or repayment? God promises in His Word that He is our vindicator. He is our defender. He will settle your case and repay everything the enemy has stolen.

But in order to allow Christ to settle your debts, you have to release your concerns to Him and forgive those who have wronged you. It’s very freeing to say, “They can’t pay me back. I’m on God’s payroll, and He never misses a payment.” God will settle your cases. You have to allow Jesus to take on the debt they owe you in the same way that He took on your debt for sin. That’s true forgiveness—freeing others so that you can be free. As you walk and live in forgiveness, you show that you trust in God to repay you, and He will honor your faith in Him!

A Prayer for Today
“God, I believe in complete restoration in every area of my life! That starts with letting go of the past and forgiving those who have wronged me. I forgive them, Father, and I praise You for taking on my debt. In Jesus’ name – Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Forgiving ourselves and others and asking our Heavenly Father to forgive us is primary to having a happy and productive life in this world and the next.  In the example of prayer that Christ Jesus gave us it is top drawer.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.  Matt. 6:8-20  Notice here that we are held by the same glue that we use on others…. twice in this example of how to pray.   (The Lord’s Prayer is really found in John 17.)

So to what degree to you want to be forgiven?  Personally,  I want it all to be gone and forgotten.  The Holy Scriptures teach us: Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”  Rom.12:19.  Christ Jesus taught, Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?”  Matt.7:1-3

Now we need to understand that there is two kinds of judgment,  one kind is to destroy and the other is to help and restore.  Every day we are called on to make righteous judgment in helping others to find Christ Jesus as Lord.  And this is one of the many jobs of the Holy Spirit.  Paul shares on this in 1 Cor. 6.    We can not help people effectively without the gifts of the Spirit of Word of Knowledge and Word of Wisdom in operation as per 1 Cor.14:24-25
But if all prophesy [foretelling the future, speaking a new message from God to the people], and an unbeliever or outsider comes in, he is convicted [of his sins] by all, and he is called to account by all [because he can understand what is being said]; 25 the secrets of his heart are laid bare. And so, falling on his face, he will worship God, declaring that God is really among you. AMP  Now when the Holy Spirit starts doing this in the Church, it is really cooking…. The LORD is being revealed as in Eph.4:11-16.   And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], 12 [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; 13 until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. 14 So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit]. 15 But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ. 16 From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up [a]in [unselfish] love.”

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   “There is but one Church of Christ Jesus and all who truly love and obey HIM are members.”

If you don’t set the tone early in the day, the enemy will start reminding you of all your problems and everything that’s wrong in your life. Before long, you’ll be negative and discouraged. Notice that the Scripture doesn’t say, “I might be glad today if everything goes well, if I don’t get stuck in traffic, if my boss doesn’t yell at me, or if it doesn’t rain on my new hairdo.” No, the psalmist says, “I will rejoice and be glad.” No matter what kind of difficulties I face today—no matter who tries to make me upset—I choose to be happy.    Happiness is a decision you make, not an emotion you feel. Never forget that although you might not be able to choose your circumstances, you can always choose how you respond to them. If you’ll make the decision to stay full of joy, if you’ll choose to be happy in spite of your circumstances, the enemy can’t keep you down and defeated. God will give you supernatural strength to overcome every obstacle you face, and you’ll live that life of overcoming victory He has in store for you.

A Prayer for Today
“God, I am making the decision today to be a grateful person! You have richly blessed me and I am going to count those blessings everyday. When I make a daily list of 10, it will be in honor of You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts,
In my life I have had a bunch of kids,  8 to be exact.  Each one broke the mold, none alike.  But it seems that at about 5 months, more or less,  they would seems to wake up and really know who you were and when they would recognize you there would be unmitigated sounds and looks of pure JOY.  Those sounds and looks would melt your heart.  Of course there is the troublesome two’s and terrible three’s and so on.  Seems to me that our Creator loves to see us wake up to the long view in HIS great love as well.  And in that long view of recognizing HIM as our Heavenly Father to find that JOY.  Jesus taught it like this,
“Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.  Luke 15:10″

Jesus also taught for us to rejoice on God’s Truth,  “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.” Matt. 13:44    Notice here that he took all he had and bought into God’s Truth with Joy.  Jesus taught a lot on Joy.  Too much to be inclusive here but I leave you with this as something that we would all love to hear with great joy.:

And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy LORD.”

So in the teachings of Holy Scripture we find that Joy comes from knowing GOD personally and investing the talents we have been given in doing HIS WILL.  As we walk through this world of demonic tribulation, we know that after completing our testing we will graduate to go home to Love, Joy and Peace in a righteous home with our Creator God for eternity.  “And as Christ is faithful as a Son over His [Father’s] house. And we are His house if we hold fast our confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ].  Heb.3:6″  “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Heb 12:2″  Paul’s statement near the end of his life:  “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”So take one day at a time and give it back to God and let HIM fill it with the Joy of HIS presence as your heavenly Father who loves you with great Joy, very much.

KINGDOM OF GOD,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   10/14/19,  (Across my desk this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“So that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead…”
(Philippians 3:11, NLT)
Be Life-Changing

Can you imagine what it must have been like to be sailing on the Mayflower into an unknown and uncharted world? How did Neil Armstrong feel as he became the first person to ever step onto the surface of the moon? Those were risky and certainly life-changing times in history, but life-changing doesn’t just belong in the past. God still wants you to step out into something great for His glory and for your blessing and fulfillment.

It all begins in your thinking. Don’t be contained in your mind. Let me tell you what I know about you. Some of you will write books that will touch millions of people. Some of you will develop medicines that will impact our world. Some of you will have a ministry that will shake nations. Some of you will develop software that will revolutionize businesses. If you will break free from your limited mindset and enlarge your vision, you will see God take you places that you’ve never even dreamed of.

A Prayer for Today
“God, I know that You want great things from me. Help me to have the daring faith that You can do anything if I will trust You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts,
Even before becoming a Christian in 1955 some how, deep in my soul, I knew that this life was only a room with a door to the next life.  That this was not all that there was.  I also was aware that there was stuff in me that was destructive,  counter productive and even deadly as I later found that Paul writes about in Rom. 7:15-17.  It was sort of a love/hate reality.  Something in me enjoyed the darkness, in fact, still does, that in faith that I am seeking and finding deliverance from in Christ Jesus.  But it takes love, faith, humility and obedience to go there.  Pride is so deceitful, destructive and so common in this world.

So through the Holy Scriptures I find that there is a Kingdom to gain and the lies of darkness to loose.   So I try to keep heading in the direction of the light in spite of the darkness.  A darkness that is in so much of this world’s life and yet seems OK for most folks.  From the time that I ask Christ Jesus to be my LORD and my Creator God for forgiveness for my past sins of darkness I have found a certain sense of security in heading in the direction of light and truth.  Not that is has not been difficult at times to maintain heading for the light.  The lies of darkness are so subtle, invasive and prevalent in this world’s system of doing things.  But by the beauty that I find on earth I know there must be a Creator God.  And in the words of HIS prophets I find so much love and light that I know they must have been taught by HIM.  And so there also must be a Kingdom of Righteousness to come that I need to get ready for or miss.  In reality the only thing I have to offer is humility and obedience to the truth that I find as shared by HIS Prophets.  The rest is up to HIM, even the grace to go there.    But it seems there are no limitations to faith as to what can be accomplished in this world and sent ahead for HIS soon coming Eternal Kingdom of Righteousness.  Seems to me now that this life is a temporary time of learning and testing from which we graduate into light or darkness as per our choices.  My prayer is that you also are investing your time on earth profitable for that Kingdom.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

GOD’S WILL

GOD’S WILL,    10/13/19    (Best to print this one out and tape it to the Refrigerator Door.)

What is God’s Will for my life?” A question often get asked of God. Usually, this question is related to a specific situation that a person is going through. Situations like: “should I take this job?” Or “where should I go to college?” Or “should I consider marrying this person?”

When faced with life’s questions, it is important to remember that God’s Will for us is always found in His Word given to us…The Bible. Let’s take a look at some passages that reveal God’s Will for us here and now.
  • To be saved. 2 Peter 3:9 – The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

  • To be sanctified. 1 Thess. 4:3-4 – “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor.

  • To be serving. Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

  • To be discovering and using His spiritual gifts. 1Peter 4:10 – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

  • To bear much fruit. John 15:8 – “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

  • To bring glory to His name. Isaiah 43:7 – “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”

Let’s make sure we are seeking God’s Will for us by first hearing His Word to us. When we do that, we will find The Bible truly is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. (Psalm 119).
