WALKING IN LOVE,       “WORTH CONSIDERING”    11/21/19  (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us.”  Eph. 5:2
Esteem One Another

We don’t hear the word “esteem” very much in our culture, but the Scripture tells us to esteem and delight in one another. One definition of esteem is “to hold in high regard.” That means we are to honor and value one another, even if we don’t always agree. They may not always act honorably, but we are to honor and esteem people because they are valuable in the eyes of God.

If you had a very costly and valuable piece of jewelry, you wouldn’t just wear it to the gym or leave it on the kitchen sink. No, you would treat it carefully. You would put it in a safe place and protect it. When we see others as valuable the way God sees them, we treat them carefully. We speak respectfully. We look for the good in others and honor them for who God made them to be. The Scripture tells us that the way we treat others is like sowing seeds, and it will come back to us. Choose to esteem and delight in one another. Sow good seeds, and you will see a harvest of blessing in your own life!

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, today I choose love. I choose to honor the people around me. Help me to see the value in others the way You see the value in me. Help my actions and words to esteem and delight in others so that I can be an example of Your love and light.”

My Thoughts:
We can never be reminded too much to walk in love.  We are born self centered and very selfish and find it very difficult to change.   In fact, we need lots of GOD’s Grace to change from being like Adam to being like Jesus.   And it is very true, what you sow is what you grow in your garden of life.   In Hawaii, as a white person, I am a minority in the place where I live.   And with the local brown folks there can be some deep rooted negative attitudes.  In fact when my kids were going to high school, the last day of school was called by the locals,  “Kilum Haole Day.”   My son David went to school anyway, and sure enough,  got beat up.  But in ministry I have found that if I met the local folks with God’s love and respect that the Aloha would flow and we could become great friends in spite of the cultural bad blood and history or skin color.  In the Dr.s office the other day there was this really big muscle of a young man with a very hard local face.   But I gently and lovingly went through the aura and found a really big humble heart in need of God’s love.  We parted with him taking my “Light” tract, giving me his aloha and wanting to get together again.  Time will tell if it was real or just accommodating but it was a heart to heart time for a few moments in time in God’s love.   Love is always a decision, and sometimes a scary or costly decision. That is why our Creator had to give us a free will.   And that even when HE knew it would make a mess out of things.  HE knew that out of the whole would come HIS kids looking for HIS love and encouragement in light,  The ELECT.   So with long suffering HE has endured the mess down here on planet earth that HE would clean up later,  like an after birth.  I have had the privilege to father 8 children but I have never consider the mess or the cost and I keep looking for their best and pray for their success in life.  God’s spiritual family is growing at a supernatural speed now.  I wounder sometimes, what is HE going to do with all of us kids?  But then I consider the size of the universe and how big and powerful and loving HE must be and think,  NO! HE has got it !!!!!

HIS REST

HIS REST,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”     11/20/19     (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“For we who have believed do enter that rest…”
(Hebrews 4:3, NKJV)
Enter His Rest

God promises that there are “set times” in our future to bring His promises to pass in our lives, but He doesn’t tell us when they will be. Your set time may be tomorrow morning at 9:47. You’ll get the phone call you’ve been waiting for. Your set time may be two years from now. You’ll get a good break that will thrust you to a new level. My question is, “Do you trust God enough to believe that your set times are coming?” Are you willing to wait with a good attitude? Are you willing to get a new perspective? Remember, that set time is already in your future. Don’t let the negative thoughts talk you out of it. The way you know that you’re really believing is when you have rest on the inside. You’re at peace. You know the answer is on the way. You trust that God is working things out. Today, put your faith and trust in Him and enter into rest. Know that He is good and He is for you! Your set time of favor is on the way!
A Prayer for Today
“Father, today I choose to enter into rest. I choose to trust You, I choose to put my faith and hope in You knowing that You are good and that You have good things in store for my future in Jesus’ name! Amen.”

My thoughts:
Along time ago, Bob Mumford, told the story of how he was sure he heard that the LORD was going to have him minister in Chili.  So he sold his medical practice,  packed up his big family and moved from Florida to So. Calif. and was sitting on the dock with all that he had and no money….  After a while he had to find a job and located his family and swallow his pride that he was only in California.   Many years later as he was ministering he ended up in Chili and the LORD reminded Bob of the prophesy that it was valid, only nothing had been said as to when….  Chapter 4 of Hebrews is a wonderful teaching on how to enter into the “Rest of the LORD.”  It is really about the true meaning of the Saturday, Sabbath Rest of how to enter in by ceasing from our own works and to learn to be instantly guided by the Holy Spirit each and every day.  To actually come to the place of where we can clearly hear the HOLY SPIRIT guide us each day of the week and not just on Saturday. Heb.4 tells us that the Jews never did find the true meaning for the Sabbath.   The old Sabbath Rest was a type of the Holy Spirit Rest that is available for us now 24/7.   It is sort of like the Tithing of the Old Testament which was 10% to begin with but in the New Testament is now 100% of all we are or what we have.  As a true Christian,  it all now belongs to Christ Jesus as our King.  And believe me there will be testing to see if that is really where we live and who we really are.  And the testing is not for GOD to know, (HE already knows.)   But we are allowed to be tested so that we can really know where we really live and who we really are.  This is so we can choose to change to allow our Creator God to rebuild HIS divine nature into us for HIS and our Glory in Eternity. 

Free Will is a part of our creation package of who we are designed to be for eternity.  Love can not exist without Free Will.  But it has to be changed from being of an Adam self centered focus to being a Christ centered focus in order to live with our Heavenly Father in HIS dimension of Eternity.  As we become in Christ Jesus through Faith we are to be changed into our LORD’s Image and Likeness.  So in this lifetime we are in a process for getting us ready to jump to light speed if we will allow for it..  Also our new submission to true humility and obedience is to make absolutely sure that we don’t destroy the Universe as we have this planet earth.  Of course God already has in plans to recycle this solar system as found in Rev.21 to be made new into a place of HIS GLORY and Righteousness.   All of the old junk will be cremated along with the space junk.  God will make a new heavens and a new earth.  After our short life time opportunity on earth of being born into sin and forgiven and then a time of spiritual growth and testing we will be headed into life with GOD our Creator for Eternity.  Of course, if we choose otherwise the outcome does not look very good.  Our Creator God is very very unset concerning the rejection of HIS offered Salvation and Restoration..

TESTING

TESTING,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”     11/18/19,    (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed”  (1 Peter 4:12-13
Don’t Be Surprised

If you know you are going into a challenging season, you can get prepared for it. You can make sure you are mentally ready. But what about the difficulties that we don’t see coming? The unexpected crisis that catches you off guard? Sometimes it can seem so overwhelming and devastating when your life is suddenly turned upside down.

The Scripture says that we shouldn’t be surprised by fiery trials. That’s because the forces of darkness would not be fighting against you if they didn’t know that God has something amazing in your future! Sometimes those unexpected difficulties are just a sign that you’re on the right track. It’s always darkest just before the dawn appears. The enemy always fights the hardest when you are closest to your breakthrough. The key is to stay the course and keep fighting the good fight of faith. In the difficult times, keep your joy and keep declaring God’s Word over your future. God has promised that you will overcome every obstacle. You will defeat every enemy, and you will embrace the blessing and victory He has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for walking with me in every season of life. Today, I cast all of my cares on You. I cast all of my difficulties, all of my questions, and all of my concerns. Thank You for working all things out for my good in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
This bit of truth brought to mind that when back in the early 70’s it was about a 1/2 hour drive to the Pilgrim’s Inn on Saturday evenings where we held our hippie gatherings.   The hippies would start coming in about 4 in the afternoon and some would not leave till about 3 AM.   The Power of the Holy Spirit was so abundant in those days inspite of our need for wisdom and guidance.  But about the time I would leave home my wife Ann would get upset about something and turn the air blue all the way to the meeting.  But I knew by experience that the minute I stepped through the door that the air would become clean and fresh and full of the Holy Spirit.  After a while we would catch ourselves and realize what was happening and begin to laugh out loud about it.  If there is one thing that the enemy can not handle at all, it is to be laughed at.  Take a step of faith and try it sometime.  Just become aware that you are under an outside attack,  laugh at it and rebuke it in Jesus Name and it goes away, and very quickly.   There are 3 levels of attack,  outside, head and heart.  Outside,  Kenneth Hagen called oppression, head he called obsession and heart he called possession.  This understanding has worked out for me very well over the years in helping folks.

The Bible concept of planet earth is that it is a temporary gymnasium of testing and spiritual growth that either make you stronger in the LORD or kills you.   Remember how Eve was tested, failed and died.  Remember how Jesus was tested, submitted and had victory.   Hebrews 11 is a great chapter on those who have been tested and enjoyed victory.  In Romans 8 Paul teaches the same thing about our Heavenly Father providing everything we need for victory,  if we keep the FAITH.  That FAITH is the victory.  That it is through the great and precious promises (believed in faith) that changes us to have the divine nature of our Creator.  Peter writes about it:  so that the genuineness of your faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in [your] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.  1 Pet.1:7.  Jesus has John tell us this:  Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. Be aware that the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested [in your faith], and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful to the point of death [if you must die for your faith], and I will give you the crown [consisting] of life.  Rev. 2:10  The Old Testament teaches us that our testing is like the refining of silver.  Zech.13:9  “And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will listen and answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ And they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”  Silver is purified by heating and skimming many times until the exact reflection of the creator is seen in the surface of the silver.

LOVE

LOVE,     “WORTH CONSIDERING”    11/15/19     (Across my messy desk, this morning.”

Today’s Scripture
“…May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love…”   Eph. 3:17
Established In Love

There is tremendous power in love! In the same way that a tree will grow taller and stronger when its roots grow deep, you will be stronger and rise higher when you are rooted and established in love. How do you establish yourself in love? It starts by making a choice. When you choose to say yes to love, you are saying yes to everything God is because God is love! Then every day, choose to love through your actions by modeling your life according to 1 Corinthians 13. That means choosing to be patient and kind. It means not seeking your own way, not being jealous or boastful. When you choose love, you are showing the world that God is first place in your life. The more you choose to walk in love, the deeper and stronger your roots will grow. Remember, love is the greatest thing. It is all that will last in eternity. Choose to establish yourself in love and let it be firm within you. Let His love build security in you and empower you to live the life of blessing He has in store for you.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, establish me in Your love. Show me how to love others the way You love me. Thank You for setting me free and empowering me to live the overcoming life You have prepared for me in Jesus’ name! Amen.”

My Thoughts,
In my past blogs, we have covered this subject but it can not be covered too much as it is the primary change we must embrace to enter into the coming Kingdom of God.  At one time, I ask the LORD for HIS definition of LOVE.  And very simply, in my heart, HE said,  “Love is the highest good for the other person regardless of personal cost.”   And as I have meditated on this it has become obvious that the Holy Spirit must be involved for wisdom.  We can be so very confused as to what is the “Highest GOOD.”   Most of the time we do what make us look good and do not considering the whole picture.  We can be permissive,  co-dependent,  emboldening of bad behavior which I sometimes call sloppy agape or greasy grace.  God’s love for us at times may be a good spanking.  In the Old Testament is reminds us that he that spares the rod hates his child.  Paul puts it this way:   For anyone who eats and drinks [without solemn reverence and heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifice of Christ], eats and drinks a judgment on himself if he does not [a]recognize the body [of Christ (The Lords Supper)]. 30 That [careless and unworthy participation] is the reason why many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep [in death]. 31 But if we evaluated and judged ourselves honestly [recognizing our shortcomings and correcting our behavior], we would not be judged.  But when we [fall short and] are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined [by undergoing His correction] so that we will not be condemned [to eternal punishment] along with the world. 1 Cor.11:29-32.  “and you have forgotten the divine word of encouragement which is addressed to you as sons, “My son, do not make light of the discipline of the Lord, And do not lose heart and give up when you are corrected by Him; Heb.12:5.  So the concept of love travels along in good company with truth, faith, wisdom, humility, obedience and discipline.  Love does not mean to give what some one wants but to give what is best and good for them in the LORD as guided by the HOLY SPIRIT.  And they just might not like that and be offended with you as were the folks offended with Jesus for loving them in Truth as well.

Enjoy The Journey

When you love what you do, it doesn’t mean you don’t work hard or that you don’t have to deal with some frustrating days and people. That’s all a part of life. But ultimately, God can help you enjoy what you’re doing. When you’re in God’s will, there will be a joy on the inside. Deep down in your spirit, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. You’ll live the best life that God intended for you. If you’ll live a focused life with your priorities in order and clear goals for the future, there’s no limit to what God will do! He’ll take you places that you’ve never even dreamed of. You’ll experience the abundant life He has in store for you. Your deepest desire should be to follow God’s perfect will so that one day, you can look back and say, “This is why God put me here.
A Prayer for Today
“God, I am so thankful that because of Your presence in my life, the work I do each day can have real purpose and meaning. Help me to do my work with joy, as unto You, and use me to be a blessing to someone else who needs my encouragement and example today. In Jesus’ name – Amen.”

My Thoughts,
Making Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior is the only door into the Kingdom of God.  God in HIS Infinite power will assist any one on planet earth to find that Love, Light, Truth and Salvation through Christ Jesus that is looking for it.  God’s presence can be seen every where by the things that HE has created.  So there is no excuse for not seeking HIM.  So what we do indicates the direction that we are headed.  If for light, we seek to find and walk in GOD’S TRUTH in light.   If darkness then we are caught up in the worlds stuff lies and system of values with ourselves being the center.  It is very interesting how we can so easily rationalize good to be bad and bad to be good if it is what we want it to be.  Of course the Bible is a record of what the Prophets of old have found to be good.  So if we really want to know what our Creator’s TRUTH is,  The Bible is very handy in this country.  Our Loving Creator has set it up so that only those who really want to know HIM will find HIM.  In the future creations HE wants a family to live with HIM that is loving and obedient and there by choice.  So those who refuse to be loving, humble and obedient will not be there.  Love can only exist by having a free will.  And our learning to control our free will for good in love is the only way that a future disorder in the universe can be averted.  Look at what the wrong use of free will has done to our earth.  So straight and narrow is the way that leads to eternal life and few there be that find it.  Faith without WORK’S (or resulting action) is not true faith and is dead.

This also came in my mail today and felt to pass it along:
There was a time when Israel had no blacksmiths to make weapons and was without any armament to defend themselves. The enemy had succeeded to disarm Israel by removing their weapons, and those who forged them! He’s attempting the same tactic today.  A blacksmith is someone who works with raw material and fire, and who knows how to form and shape liquid metal into powerful weapons. Anyone who works skillfully and accurately with the word of God is a spiritual “blacksmith”. The enemy, who is constantly attacking the word of God, the sword of the Spirit, also seeks to silence or remove the spiritual blacksmiths of this world. If he can get rid of them – the battle is over.

We need to pray for God’s blacksmiths because the enemy is after them. Together with the fire of the Holy Spirit they forge the raw material of His word into powerful weapons which shape and mold God’s people into His image and equip them for spiritual warfare and fruitfulness. But we are all called to be strong in the word, and to take it up as our primary weapon. Every spiritual blacksmith, himself started out as raw material which was shaped and formed by the fire of God to fight in this battle with Satan.    So, as the battle rages, pray for the protection of God’s “blacksmiths”, even as you submit to His process of shaping you into one, yourself.

POWER

POWER,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    11/13/19    (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus…”   (Acts 4:13, NKJV)
Empowered By His Presence

God wants to empower and strengthen you to overcome every obstacle in this life. He wants to give you confidence, wisdom and boldness to pursue the dreams and desires in your heart. He wants to give you supernatural insight so that you can be a witness of His goodness. In the Scripture, Peter and John were supernaturally equipped. Everyone around them marveled at their boldness, at their ability. They knew Peter and John didn’t have any formal training. They knew there wasn’t anything special about them. This power and wisdom could have only come from one place—the presence of Jesus. Friend, when you spend time with Jesus, people will see it. You’ll be energized by His anointing and equipped by His grace. That’s why it’s so important to take time every day to be in His presence. No matter where you are, His presence is only a prayer away. Scripture says He is near to all who call upon His name. It says that He inhabits the praises of His people. Make your relationship with Him your number one priority and be empowered by His presence each and every day!
A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, I humbly come before You giving You all that I am. I surrender every area of my life to You and invite You to have Your way in my heart. Empower me with Your love as I daily set my focus on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Seems to me there are potentially several ways to consider the possibility for the flow of GOD’S power.  Fist of all, are we really in heart faith or just in head understanding.  It takes a lot to change our heart (sub conscious) into a new faith Heb.11 direction.  What goes into our heart is controlled by what we allow to have access through our conscious mind,  good or evil.  Went through WallyMart the other day and viewed the video shelves…  of thousands of titles I could only find 3 positive titles from the cover graphics.  It was like up dated publicity for the Roman Coliseum for next event.   And I could even take it home with me and view it many times..  So if this is the food that we are digesting as a constant diet for our heart it will be difficult to find faith for the power of GOD to help us in time of need or in helping others. Faith comes by digesting the Truth of God from the Word of God in our hearts.  Faith can be a personal growth or a gift in time of need but GOD’s creation is totally dependent upon faith.  God is trying to help us find faith so we can live with HIM in HIS dimension of eternity.

 But then there is sometimes the issue of the lack of faith around us,  It is recorded in Matt.13:58:  And he (Jesus) did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

 And then there is the matter of individual heart faith that can be dammed up if we are saying no to the Holy Spirit in some other way in of our life.  Faith can only freely flow in humility, love and obedience.
Also there is the issue of unity in the collective faith.  Notice that even the prayers of a married couple are hindered if there is disunity.  1 Pet. 3:7.  And that our Lord Jesus prayed for our Unity that we would be able to experience HIS Glory (Power),  John 17:22 I have given to them the glory (power) and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given to Me [as Your gift to Me], may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.  Notice that it is the unity here in Truth that allows GOD’S power to flow.  So here we see that we need each other as in, Eph.4:11-16. And that we need to be personally walking on our growing edge in loving unity with nothing held back from the Holy Spirit.  That is when we begin to see the power of God flow and  be experienced for our needs and the needs of so many hurting people.  God will most times build a basket before HE will effectively start to pick fruit in the Holy Spirit.  So there is a process into completion and perfection as above as we move through our life time.

We are somewhat like batteries, we get charged up and perform accordingly, good or bad.  When we get charged up for good and are linked together much can be done in the Holy Spirit for the Kingdom of God.  Jesus started with 3, then 12, then 70 and then120 disciples all in loving unity and look at what happened.  Read again the Book of Acts and know that we are invited to enjoy the same kind of visitation in the Holy Spirit for the Glory of God. d

REAL FAITH

REAL FAITH,   “WORTH CONSIDERING” 11/12/19,  (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith…”
(1 John 5:4, NASB)
Bigger Than Fear

Fear always presents itself as much bigger than it really is. It’s always the worst-case scenario. It always tries to get you worried, anxious, uptight and panicked. Fear’s goal is to separate you from God by trying to get you to doubt His Word. But when the spirit of fear comes, recognize that it has no power unless you give it power. Don’t give it power by speaking what fear speaks. Don’t give it power by meditating on it. Instead, let the power of the Word of God rise up within you. Declare what God says; declare that God has given you all authority in heaven and earth. Declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Remember that no matter how big fear presents itself, it’s no match for the power of Almighty God. When you yield yourself to Him, you tap into His power. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. God is bigger than your problems and bigger than fear. Let faith rise up in your heart because faith is the victory that overcomes the world.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your perfect love which drives out all fear. I choose to meditate on Your Word which feeds my faith and empowers me to overcome. I bless You and praise You today for Your goodness and grace in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

There is a really big difference in head knowing about things and in heart faith in believing them.   Charles S. Price wrote a great little book on the subject, I strongly suggest that you order a copy if interested in the Real Kingdom of God and not just church membership.  It is titled,  “The Real Faith.”   Of course the little book of James spends a lot of time on the same subject.   Head faith changes nothing,  Heart faith can change everything.  The Holy Spirit is seeking to instruct us in the deep heart kind of faith.  That is how we are saved,  Rom. 10:9-10.  It is not in thinking, it is a knowing.  Some one once wrote that you must totally accept a principal in your mind over and over perhaps 20 or more times before your heart starts to consider the change.   The Bible even teaches that the heart is deceitfully wicked and must be changed to be in agreement with God’s Truth.  Before honor is humility and so in humility the Holy Spirit may teach us how to become like Christ Jesus if we will allow it.  This was and is our Heavenly Fathers original vision in the creation of man to be in HIS Image and Likeness.  Christ Jesus is the first of this level of creation.  It is by heart faith in the many promises of God that we can be changed into HIS Divine Nature if we will believe them in our heart.  Most of us have grown up to be actors.  We learn very early in life to not let anyone know what we are really thinking down deep in our heart (id, subconscious.)  We are told that we are like an ice berg,  only 1/7th is above the water, 6/7th’s can not be seen.   But our Creator God is into replacing the heart we received from Adam’s fallen genes with a new heart of righteousness, real faith and real love.

So once you have made Christ Jesus your personal LORD and received forgiveness for your past as your personal savior then the Holy Spirit begins the process of restoring what was lost in the pride and rebellion of Adam.   You have a freewill that needs to be converted to love the light of God and to seek out and support those things that are pleasing to HIM.   The Holy Scriptures,  The very WORD of GOD is most supportive of these needed changes.  And as we learn what our Creator really wants to do with us in eternity, it becomes more and more easy to avoid the old pits that we use to fall into all the time.

Last night, early morning, asleep,  I was again woken by two knocks.  I use to say who is it? and nothing.   But then I would feel this clammy cold feeling start to cover me in bed.  Of course I got on the defensive and rebuked it loudly in Jesus name till it went away.  Last night,  I again heard the 2 knocks.  But I had more heart faith and simple said in my mind, oh you again.  And as I felt that clammy cold feeling just said out loud,  simply, “Get out of here in Jesus name.” and it very quickly left.  So the Holy Spirit is gently allowing my heart faith to be increased to help me grow into what may be needed for the future.  So God has both declared me to be holy due to the resurrection of Christ Jesus and is also in the process of changing me to, in fact, become Holy.   As James taught us,  Faith without works is dead.  It is far past time for the Church to wake up and in loving unity learn to become, in fact, HOLY,  Eph. 4:11-16.

Today’s Scripture

Delivered From All

Everyone has times when they feel overwhelmed or “outnumbered” by the things that are coming against them. You may have heard the saying, “When it rains, it pours.” For example, just about the time the air conditioner needs repair in your house, the transmission goes out in your car. It seems like one thing happens after another. It may feel as if all the forces of darkness are coming against you. When it feels as though you’re far behind, outnumbered, outsized and outclassed, instead of being discouraged, have a new perspective. The Scripture promises that with God on your side, you have all the resources you need to have complete victory. You are never outnumbered because the Greater One lives in you! It’s like when you’re expecting someone for dinner; you don’t wait until they show up before you decide to start cooking. Most likely you start early in the day. You make sure the house is clean, you go to the grocery store, and maybe buy some flowers for the table. You make preparations because you’re expecting someone. Well, that’s the attitude we need to have while we’re waiting for God’s promises to come to pass. As you put actions behind your prayers, your faith comes alive and opens the door for God to move mightily on your behalf.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your faithfulness to me. Thank You for Your peace even in the midst of the storms of life. I know that You are with me, and I can stand strong because You will lead me into victory all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
James is very strong in teaching the same thing,  Faith always precedes action and without action there is no faith and without faith it is impossible to please GOD.   We can understand, but without action there is no heart faith.   Everything that is made by God is held together by faith.  God is trying to teach us the rudimentary facts concerning how faith works.  If we have to see it to believe it, we will never learn how to walk in faith.   From God’s point of view faith itself is the substance and the evidence,  Heb.11.  Until in a John 17 Unity and we really see how God sees the Church in Victory by faith we will never experience the snatching (rapture) away.  In Rev.12:11-12 the Church goes home to boot lucifer and his fallen ones out of the Kingdom of Heaven.  And faith is the victory.  The Church is called home to do battle in faith against the Enemy.  We are far from being ready for this battle in the heavens.  We have been divided and have little faith for even ourselves much less the unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17.  In The Revelation 12:11-13 it is a future prophesy as follows: 

 “And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].12 Therefore be glad (exult), O heavens and you that dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in fierce anger (fury), because he knows that he has [only] a short time [left] !”    This is a total victory by faith alone.  Roman 8 backs this up: 28 “We are assured and know that [[j]God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was [k]aware and [l]loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.30 And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]34 Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?35 Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Don’t Give Up

Throughout life, there will always be something that will try to take our joy. If it’s not a grumpy sales person, it’s a family member aggravating you, traffic is backed up, your flight got delayed, or your spouse is taking too long! Don’t go the next twenty years allowing the same people and same circumstances to frustrate you. Change your approach. What’s upsetting you now doesn’t have to upset you anymore.

You can choose to keep your cool and stay calm and steady. Remember, a relaxed attitude is going to lengthen your life. The next time you’re tempted to be upset, ask yourself, “Is this really worth me giving up my joy?” If you’ll make the decision to not give away your joy but live each day happy, God promises you’ll be strong, you’ll have better relationships, and you’ll accomplish more. He says a joyful heart is good medicine! Hold on to your joy and move forward into the abundant life God has in store!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, today I will hold on to joy! I choose to live each day with peace and happiness. I choose to rely on Your strength and Your Word which guides my every step. I love You and thank You for loving and directing me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:   We have a choice in this temporary earthly life time to be Hard Headed for LIGHT or DARKNESS.  And it is amazing as to how much darkness is all around us in Adam’s world.  How many lies that try to invade our minds each day.  The enemy is constant in finding a lie that we will accept.  A stupid idea that looks like innocent fun but guides us into the darkness and away from our Creator and HIS LOVING TRUTH.  And the enemy is constant in seeking to cause divisions.   He knows that a divided house can not stand.  I really liked the fresh air of some of the quotes that are herewith attached.  Especially the one by Dr. C. H. Spurgeon on Unity.  And as I understand it that it is true that an angry burst of words of 5 minutes will shut down our immune system for 24 hours.  And that stress does considerable shorten our lives.

Prophecy: ‘God Is Flipping the Script and Storm Breakers Are Rising’

I hear the Holy Spirit saying, “Many have never seen to the other side of the storm. Many have never broken through to the other side of the battle.”

It’s become a lifestyle of tiny victories but no ultimate breakthrough, but this is changing. Something is building. Can you feel it? It’s an underlying rumbling in the spirit. It’s the momentum rising of a people battered and bruised and bullied into the corner for far too long. Now, time is up! We won’t have it anymore. We are rising.

Because it’s taken our peace. It’s taken our mental state. It’s taken our marriages. It’s taken our children. It’s taken our health. It’s taken our destinies; it’s taken our cities and nations, but it’s not over. There has been a shift in the heavens! There is a rising of a people who are declaring Isaiah 42:22 (ESV): “But this is a people plundered and looted; they are all of them trapped in holes and hidden in prisons; they have become plunder with none to rescue, spoil with none to say, ‘Restore!'”

Will you cry out “restore” even right now for your family? For your children? For the injustices of the earth? For your city and nation? Lift your voice, mighty ones! This is the hour of turning back! The alignment and restoration of nations and families. The turning of a people whose hearts are far from God coming back to Him and the restoration of power to a people who have believed they are powerless.

Jesus didn’t die for nothing. I’ll say that again. He didn’t die for nothing. God didn’t bankrupt heaven for you to still be in bondage. No! What an injustice and what a lie we have believed. We have subtly been influenced by religion, weak and powerless religion, that requires no faith, no use of authority and sees no fruit from the cross. But the script is changing. The bride is rising.

We need a fresh commissioning of Holy Ghost power and authority to sweep the earth. We need a fresh baptism of fire! Right now there is a coronation happening because people need to know what is in their hands! You aren’t small and weak, empty handed, powerless and defeated! No, you are the mighty! The powerful! You have been given scepters of authority and rods to rule nations.

Get ready, people of God, because heaven is flipping the script. Your current power struggle between God’s intentions for your life and the enemy’s plans have to be overturned. God is flipping the script. Your past story full of rejection, abandonment, pain and trauma—God is flipping the script. They said you would never, could never, shouldn’t ever, but your future isn’t in their hands; it’s in God’s and now your true story begins.

Out from Under Control, Manipulation, Oppression, Addiction and Failure

Maybe you’ve been living always under and never above. You are always surviving and never reigning, and God is flipping the script. Maybe you have been living under the control of insecure, narcissistic people who pretend to care about where you are going, but they have been squashing you, silencing you and holding you back. It has been all you have known, but suddenly, God is going to flip the script. His jealousy for you to step into His best is burning right now. Enough is enough! The story must change! The script is changing.

When Jesus went out of his way to visit the woman at the well in Samaria, He had one thing on His mind. He saw a story of heartache woven through this woman’s life and He knew He had the power to change it in a moment. So, He asked her for a drink. Then He said something profound:

“Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water that I shall give him will become in him a well of water springing up into eternal life'” (John 4:13-14, MEV).

He was saying “you have been dry and thirsty, but now it’s time to change your story and your life, and get you out of that bad situation and you’ll then become a spring of life for others!” That’s what He is saying to you today.

You Aren’t Too Late—You Aren’t Too Far

There may be people reading this who feel so far from God and feel unworthy, unqualified and unlovable, but He is speaking to you today. Your script is changing. It isn’t too late for you. You haven’t missed it and you aren’t too far from reach. Even as you hear these words the Holy Spirit is beginning to remove the veil of lies that held you in shame and condemnation. He doesn’t see you like that, so why should you?

Throw your list of failures to the ground and give Him your life afresh today. What have you got to lose? You can’t even grasp the masterpiece He wants to write through you. It all begins now. The old ends now. I can hear the sound of new pages turning and dreams coming back to life.

I prophesy that you have scribed the last page of your book of woe, and now it’s not just a new chapter that is starting, but a whole new book! In fact, we are going to see a tsunami wave of story tellers stepping up out of their place of silence to write their stories and the stories that carry a deliverance and commissioning anointing. That’s right. In one swoop, God is going to bring deliverance to captives; flip their script; then get them to write, speak and share their story. I’ll say it again—God is flipping your script even right now!

The Rising Up of Storm Breakers

I am seeing many people who have weathered storm after storm for many, many years who carry this deliverance and commissioning anointing. He calls them “storm breakers” because they have been through so many storms, many even to the brink of breaking themselves! But they survived, and now they carry this powerful anointing that is lethal against the assault and assignments of the enemy.

These storm breakers are deliverers for people who are stuck and, with a mighty shout and decree, they pull them out of the mess and demonic cycles of dysfunction. They break and sever any violation they see and restore the plans of heaven over people, families and even nations. They use the very storm that comes as a weapon to fight back against the enemy because they know how to turn back the wind and the waves and hit the enemy where it hurts. Watch out, because a people once pillaged and plundered are rising and we won’t be messed with!

Flipping the Script in Nations and Media

Watch as cities align and nations align. Chaos has and must end. The story of the nations is not in the hands of the media like they think. It is not a narrative that is written by the corrupt with an agenda. They may deal in the counterfeit, but they have no authority or say in the future and story of nations yet to written. For that is in the hands of us to take back and write. That is our place of influence and we most prophesy the future. We have to prophesy right now what we want to see. We must join heaven’s assignment and flip the script, because souls depend on it.

“The righteous must come into office!” I hear the Lord saying. The story must change in nations and, even right now, the unrest and confusion are the signs of the turnaround. The flipping of power from the worldly to the godly is already taking place. King Jesus is bringing the earth into order and readying His bride! Harvest is here. This is our time! What you have seen and experienced is changing.

A new story is now unfolding before you. Step into it, church. Step into it, mighty bride. Prophesy the flipping of the script and the turnaround in your life and for the nations because this is an hour where the wheels of change hit their highest gear.     For the original article, visit nateandchristy.co.
