WHO AM I ?

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John 3:16-18

WHO AM I, WHY AM I HERE, WHERE AM I GOING? “WORTH CONSIDERING” 8/17/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture
“…This was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Temple assistants from Jerusalem to ask John, “Who are you?” He came right out and said, “I am not the Messiah”…” (John 1:19–20, NLT)

Know Who You Are and Aren’t

John the Baptist was baptizing people and gaining a lot of attention when the Jewish leaders asked him if he was the Messiah. Without missing a beat, John said, “I am not.” It’s important to know who you are and who you’re not. If you don’t know this, you can spend your life trying to be something you’re not. Knowing what you’re not will help you stay focused on becoming who you are because there will always be pressures to be this, to be that, to be the other. If you’re trying to be something you’re not, you’ll be frustrated. There’s no grace for it. It will be a constant struggle, like it’s always uphill. When you’re you, you activate your anointing. The anointing on your life is to be who God called you to be. There’s a favor, a blessing, a grace that is unique to your life.

Be confident in what you have. Keep being who God’s made you to be.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You have given me gifts and talents to fulfill my destiny, and they are different from what others have been given. Thank You for the blessing of being different and the privilege of making the most of what You’ve given me. I will be content. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

In talking with the Holy Spirit this morning HE gave me to understand that God created two kinds of us men and women, obvious. And even then there are no two alike and it is the same learning experience for every one of us to learn how to live in faith, love, humility and obedience regardless of what our assignment is from our Creator. I woke up in a man’s body or house as I like to call it and at best a temporary house that my soul is presently living in for now, but almost worn out. And to think otherwise would be to challenge the wisdom of God. And in my pilgrimage through life I have found, now being almost 88, that for all of us earth is just a very temporary learning experience. One of simple faith, love, humility and obedience to the Holy Spirit just like every other other soul that was/is created at conception. If I make Jesus LORD and learn how to walk out my faith, love humility and obedience in my circumstances then my Creator has promised a new house when this one is destroyed. It is not complicated: Make Jesus LORD, get your sins forgiven submit to HIM in learning to live in Love, Faith, Humility and Obedience as LORD and you will live for eternity in the Kingdom of God with HIM. If you decide not to, up to you. But no body, no house, no light at all, but still a living soul for eternity. Not a good way to go, all the good stuff will be inside the New Kingdom of God.

Jesus said this concerning John the Baptist: Matt. 11:11-12, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater [in privilege] than he. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize].”

What Jesus said about HIMSELF: John 5:36. “But the testimony which I have is far greater than the testimony of John; for the works that the Father has given Me to finish—the very same works [that is, the miracles and proofs of My deity] that I am [now] doing—testify about Me, [by providing evidence] that the Father has sent Me.

Ok, So now what does the Bible have to say about you? Romans 8:32, “He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against God’s elect (His chosen ones)? It is God who justifies us [declaring us blameless and putting us in a right relationship with Himself]. Who is the one who condemns us? Christ Jesus is the One who died [to pay our penalty], and more than that, who was raised [from the dead], and who is at the right hand of God interceding [with the Father] for us. Who shall ever separate us from the love of [d]Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Just as it is written and forever remains written, “For your sake we are put to death all day long; we are regarded as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Yours in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org

Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> In the immediate aftermath of the August 4 explosion which blasted through Beirut, Christian Arab broadcasting company SAT-7 Arabic Channels began ministering to the city’s devastated community, CBN News reports. SAT-7 broadcasts to around 30 million people in the Middle East and North Africa, sharing the Gospel in Arabic, Farsi and Turkish. Pastor Said Deeb of Life Center Church in Beirut said the day of the massive explosion, a strange feeling came over him – a combination of anxiety, anger, and sadness that shook him to the core. He said he prayed with his staff but didn’t get a break-through and couldn’t shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen so sent everyone home before the explosion. In the first half of 2020, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials intercepted almost 20,000 false driver’s licenses that were sent mostly from China and Hong Kong, but also from the UK and South Korea, Just the News reported Monday. The licenses were sent in 1,513 shipments between January 1 and June 30, CBP officials said in a statement. The Black Lives Matter organization held a rally in Chicago Monday night in support of over 100 people who were arrested for looting and other offenses committed the night before, during unrest in the city’s downtown shopping district, CBN News reports. BLM organizer Ariel Atkins described the looting as “reparations” because “these businesses have insurance.”
