WEAKNESS (#9)

Aloha from Papa Ken<>< (My Grandfather was called Papa Andrew, so seems I am now about the right age (85) to try his shoes on?) This came across my desk today and felt good to send also there is a very interesting scripture for me. Also another located in Paul's letter to the Church in Corinth as added to the bottom. The Holy Spirit used this one to help me find Salvation along with the next chapter2 & 3. “And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness...” (Romans 8:26, NLT) Sometimes, people get distracted by what they consider to be a disadvantage or weakness in their lives. It may be something about their personality or looks that they don’t like. Or, maybe they’ve been through an unfair situation: a divorce, a bad business deal or a bad break. We all have things that can feel like disadvantages; things that make it harder on us. It may even be a physical handicap, and you can’t get around like you used to. But just because you have a “disadvantage,” just because you’ve been through a tough time doesn’t mean you’re supposed to sit back and settle where you are. God still has something great for you to do! He wants to show Himself strong in and through you, and He’s given you His Holy Spirit to equip you in this life. Today let the Holy Spirit help you when you feel weak. Let Him empower you with truth that will set you free. Stay in faith and don’t get negative toward yourself or your future. Let God take what you think is a liability and turn it into an asset! Let Him take what you think is a disadvantage and turn it around to be an advantage! Remember, you are more than a conqueror today and every day because He is strong in you! A Prayer for Today “Father, today I give You all that I am. I invite You into the weak places in my life so that You can turn them into strengths. Thank You for working in my life and filling me with faith and expectancy in Jesus’ name. Amen.” My Comments: 1 Cor.1: 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. Need to read the whole chapters 1-3, but this portion of scripture helped give me the faith to go on in Christ Jesus. Through faith, it gives me the certification that I can make it for I am chosen and qualified. Even stripped down, and without the facade* and I am sure you will also feel very qualified if you consider what is written. We all have an empty place that can only be filled with GOD !!!!. Yours, in His Great love, Ken<><
