Words and Power

WORDS AND POWER 5/7/18
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————–
Aloha Friends, and Family,

Across my desk and “WORTH CONSIDERING.”

“Now may the Lord’s strength be displayed, just as you have declared.” (Numbers 14:17, NIV)

Scripture tells us that there is creative power in the words we declare. In the same way that God created the world with His words in Genesis 1, we “create” our own world with our words. We can create an atmosphere of peace, joy, power and love with our words, or we can create an atmosphere of strife, confusion and defeat.

Today, I encourage you to use your words to open the door for God to move by declaring His Word over your life. Declare that His strength is at work in you. Declare that no weapon formed against you is going to prosper. As you declare God’s Word over your life, you’ll see it come to pass. You’ll feel His strength, joy and victory rising up inside of you so that you can embrace the life of blessing He has prepared for you.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, I recognize that there is creative power in the words that I speak. Help me, by Your Spirit, to use my words for good. Remind me to always declare Your truth over my life and over the lives of others. I bless You today and always in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Comments:
Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof..

Our Words? Are they full of faith and encouragement or full of condemnation, discouragement and death. Are we using the gift of faith that we are born with to build or to destroy. Do a study on word and words in the New Testament and especially read the little book of James. This is an area that just about every person I know, who feels they are a Christian, need some help. At times I find myself into digging up stuff that I have told for years where I try to build my ego and have to put a hand over my mouth…. Only being said for my glory and elevation and not HIS and usually destructive to some one else. And then there is the cycle of complaining, often to become an obsession. Such a destructive wast of time. James records how can good water and bad come from the same fountain. Give your WORDS to the LORD as well as everything else if you want God’s best blessings on your life.

Be Blessed in your day, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org
