SECURITY “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/27/19 (from Joel this morning)
Today’s Scripture
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love…”(Romans 8:38, NLT)
Nothing Can Separate You from God’s Love
No matter how many weaknesses you think you have, you are very special to God! You are beautifully, wonderfully and uniquely made, and you need to celebrate His handiwork in you! Too many times, people compare their lives to others rather than looking to God’s promises and celebrating what God has given them. Worrying about your weaknesses will distract you and keep you from fulfilling your destiny. Don’t waste your time looking back, reliving what you did. You may be saying, “You just don’t know how I’ve lived. You mean to say I’m not supposed to feel guilty and condemned? That I don’t need to pay God back for all my mistakes by going around feeling bad about myself?” Yes, that is exactly right! Jesus came so you can be forgiven and have an abundant life. So begin seeing yourself today as God sees you.
A Prayer for Today
“God, thank You for loving me unconditionally without holding my sins against me. Give me the power to stay on track and fulfill my destiny for this day and every day.”
My Comments:
St. Paul in Romans 8:24- 39 is a wonderful promise of GOD which I believe with all of my heart but the context also includes Romans Chapter 7 and especially Romans 8:13-14. So we see that there is a factor that can disrupt Roman 8:38 and it is what we do with our free will. In order for us to live in Rom. 8:38, we must also live in Rom. 8:13-14 by turning our lives over to Christ Jesus in humility and obedience as LORD to love and follow HIM and keep HIS Commandments. We must embrace the process of Sanctification in wanting to become like HIM, 1 John 4:17. Otherwise we will not make it.
The original vision was to make us in HIS image and likeness. He has not changed HIS mind.

Rom. 8: 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org (There is a link file now in my web site with the past “WORTH CONSIDERING” listed by thought content.)
