ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

HEAVEN,     “WORTH CONSIDERING”    5/7/19    (Across my desk this morning…. )

Today’s Scripture:
The Holy Writings say, “No eye has ever seen or no ear has ever heard or no mind has ever thought of the wonderful things God has made ready for those who love Him.” God has shown these things to us through His Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit Who looks into all things, even the secrets of God, and shows them to us.”
(1 Corinthians 2:9–10, NLV)

God’s Deep Secrets :
Who do you share your deepest secrets with? Most people only share their inner thoughts with those who are closest to them. People they trust. People they’ve gone through experiences with. Do you know who God shares His secrets with? This Scripture says “to us.” As believers, God’s Spirit lives inside of us, revealing to us the heart and thoughts of God Himself. God wants you to know what He thinks about you. He wants you to know about the plans He has for you. He wants to show you things you’ve never seen, heard about or even imagined. You are His child, and you are also His friend. He wants to walk with you, talk with you, and share with you. What a wonderful, amazing thought—we can know God’s thoughts because we are one with Him. Open your heart and allow Him to share His deep secrets with you today.

A Prayer for Today :
“Father in heaven, I am so humbled that You call me friend. I am honored to be connected with You and invite You to share Your heart with me. I surrender all that I am to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
In yesterday’s,  West Hawaii Today, on the front page there was the obituary of a very good and long time friend of mine who died at 71,  Bob Kitchen  (Robert Thomas.)   Bob could make the ocean waves come alive and dance on canvas.  And I know that beyond a shadow of doubt that he is with the LORD in HEAVEN.  When I met Bob back in the early 70’s he was doing metal sculpturing on a stone wall down in Kailua Kona….  He was working on a demonic looking head peace that was absolutely full of evil.  We talked and enjoyed each other,  he asked a lot of questions and later he decided to go with Jesus as his LORD.  First thing he did was cut up that head peace and we took it down to the then Hilton Hotel and threw it off into the ocean at the point of the bay.   And then the battle raged between the Holy Spirit now in Bob and his old flesh of past years.  But out of it God Won and we got Robert Thomas in great love and the wonderful paintings of the creation of God.  And through Bob’s eyes we saw the creation in a new way.  And my bottom line is that if Bob could not find an end to the beauty of God’s creation then heaven is worth  all that it takes to get there.  That if GOD is going to trash this world at the end of time to make something righteous and better and has invited us all to come and enjoy it,  I sure want to be there.  And even more than that,  to become HIS real family in a new young eternal body,  that is a total winner.   But our Creator has left very careful instruction on how to find Heaven in a big book that most of us now use for a paper weight.  So may I suggest that you dust it off and start in with reading John, Acts and Romans.   And if you have any questions to please send them along,  I would love to give you a hand,  as also other others gave me a hand back in 1955.  If you really are interested in going to Heaven, then you do really, really need to read, ingest and follow the instructions.  Christ Jesus told us that most would get tangled up in the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of this world and miss out.  That only a very few would find their way into HIS Kingdom.  So you really need to decide now as to finding and observing the directions or you could miss out.  I am so very gland that I know that Bob Kitchen took the time to read the road map and to follow it specifically all of the days that I knew him for a half  century.  The Scriptures not only changed him into being like Jesus but also gave him the “Keys To GOD Kingdom.”

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><    www.Trinity-Aloha.org   (“Worth Considering” is a link on my home page with lots of help if you are interested in living with GOD throughout eternity.)

GLAD TIDINGS

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

GLAD TIDINGS,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”
5/6/19   (Across my desk this morning….)

Today’s Scripture
“Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples.”  (Psalm 105:1, NASB)

Proclaim His Greatness
When someone gives you a meaningful or costly gift, how do you show your appreciation? Do you tell them how grateful you are? What do you do with that gift? When it’s something you are truly thankful for, you openly and proudly display the gift. When others see and admire it, you probably tell them where it came from and about the generosity of the giver. In the same way, we should give thanks to the Lord and constantly show our gratefulness and appreciation for all He has done for us by displaying the gifts He’s given us. We should also display the characteristics of our heavenly Father. We should display His likeness. We should have His eyes, His mouth and His mannerisms, too. We should display love, peace, joy, kindness and hope. We should live our lives in such a way that our very actions declare His greatness and cause others to take notice. Declare His greatness by living a life of gratitude to Him and let the whole world know what He has done for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, I commit to You every area of my life—my mind, my will, and my emotions. Reveal to me anything that isn’t pleasing to You. Show me Your ways so that I can walk with You and live righteously in every area of my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:  Of course “GLAD TIDINGS”….  IT MUST BE CHRISTMAS already   ????
But then o
ne of the first thoughts that I had as a new Christian was the realization that I had been given the Glad Tidings of the Keys To The Kingdom of GOD.  And that they were free,  And that I could give them away to all who would listen and save them from an absolute horrible darkness for all of eternity.

In the Navigator Fellowship that I attended in 1955 the Holy Scriptures were plastered on little cards everywhere.  I still have my old leather Nav. Pack of Scriptures to work on memorizing.  And they are still available:  https://www.navigators.org/   We, as Christians, need to realize that the ministry of reconciliation has been given to us by GOD to help reinforce our faith and to gently make us feel like family.  That our Heavenly Father has trusted us with the Keys To The Kingdom to give away as often as we want.  Problem is that we are severely attacked by the enemy when we do.  And often our own family gets embarrassed when we do.

Tried to share those “Keys” with my mother back in the early days and she would not talk to me about any thing concerning Jesus for years and years.  She said, “After all I have done for you, you think I am going to hell?”  Of course my efforts were loving and well intended but not very wise in the Holy Spirit as I look back now.  But I did find out that she was banking on her good works (with her own evaluation) and not to Jesus and was missing the flight.  But like the thief on the cross, just before she died, my then wife Ann,  led her in the sinners prayer and I sure hope she made it?   We have souls and family around us every day,  where will they spend eternity?

So let look at some scripture to confirm that we are responsible for sharing the Gospel.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; Psalm 107:2

14 But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher (messenger)?   Rom.10:14  AMP

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  Matt 24:14

But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him],  2 Cor. 5:18  AMP

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.  2 Tim.4:2

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”  Matt.28:19-20.

This is how Christ Jesus see the importance of it all:

26 If anyone serves Me, he must [continue to faithfully] follow Me [without hesitation, holding steadfastly to Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]; and wherever I am[in heaven’s glory], there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.  John 12:24-26.

The primary message of Christ Jesus was and is for the world to know how to be Saved from Hell.  If the Gospel of HIS Kingdom is HIS primary message should it not be ours?
If each Christian helped only 1 soul to become a disciple of Christ Jesus each year,  in 34 years the whole world would all know all about Christ Jesus as LORD.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,  Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org   (Other subjects may be found under “WORTH CONSIDERING” on my home page.)

POWER

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God

POWER,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   5/3/19   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”
(Mark 4:39, NKJV)

Peace, Be Still
What do you do when the storms of life seem to be raging against you? One time Jesus was with His disciples in a boat out on the water when they encountered a great storm. The disciples were very afraid, but Jesus on the other hand, was fast asleep. When the disciples woke Him up to see if He could help them, Jesus got up and simply spoke to the storm, “Peace, be still!” And the seas were calm again. When difficult times come, you don’t have to be overwhelmed by the waves of worry or fear. Just as Jesus stood up and spoke to the storm, you have power in your words, too. The Bible tells us that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you. That means God’s miracle-working power is on the inside of you. He’s given you His authority to speak peace over your home, over your mind, and over your family. Remember, no matter what storms may come against you, the Creator of the universe lives on the inside of you, and He’ll empower you to live in victory in every area of your life!

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, thank You for filling me with Your Holy Spirit and for giving me Your authority here on the earth. Today I declare peace over every area of my life and thank You for working things out for my good. In Jesus’ Name.”

My thoughts:
When a young Christian I found support in one of the denominations.  And like most denominations I was feed the polity and dogma that made them seem to be top drawer.  One of the doctrines was that the age of the supernatural had passed as we now had the Word of God.  But I still saw the needs around me for healing and deliverance.  Or we would have prayer for the sick and no one really had the faith the there would be a healing.   But then I started really reading the Bible for my self for a change,  It was amazing.  In fact Paul even gives us a prophesy about the “last days” in 2 Timothy 3.  And it seems to me that Paul knew much in prophesy concerning the “last days” as his letters to the churches are full of last day information and guidance.  So that doctrine was false but then if we do have the God’s Power to help with the needs how do we make it work.  Paul taught that if there was no evidence of God’s Power to go some place else.

I have come to see the power of faith is like the electrons in a battery.  When they are placed there in the battery nothing happens until a contact is made that is compatible with the flow of the electrons.  Then they are released to do the work set before them.  Of course a single battery has uses but if you want to power a house you need to get a bunch of batteries and connect them together so that they can work together as a team.  It is also interesting that one battery in backwards can short out any number of batteries from doing their work.  So start thinking about faith as a battery being charged.   And about fellowship as batteries being connected for the greater works that Jesus talked about us doing.  And I sometime reflect about Jesus going to minister in Nazerath,  Matt 13:53-58
53 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.  54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?   Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?  56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?  57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.  58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

This is a profoundly interesting study and another verse that catches my attention is John 17:21: (Glory and Power are the same thought.)  Notice that it teaches “that they may be one” here.  As an event that must yet come to pass or to happen.

21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.  22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:  23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.

Yours in His great love,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org    Bible Fellowship Tonight, pray for us that the Holy Spirit takes over.

SOME OF GOD’S PROMISES2 Peter 1:4

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 11:28-29

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.

They will walk and not faint.

Philippians 4:19

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

IMAGE OF GOD

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of God

IMAGE of GOD,    “WORTH CONSIDERING’    5/3/19   (Across my desk this morning.  Another beautiful morning,  Temp. 77, Humidity 76%  clear, blue and beautiful.  Our Property backs up to thousand’s of acres of forest jungle still in an Hawaiian Kingdom Trust.

Today’s Scripture
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”  (Ephesians 2:10, NIV)

Created for Greatness
It’s easy to go through life thinking that we’re average; we’re ordinary. “There’s nothing special about me. I’m just one of the six billion people on earth.” No, when God created you in His image, He put a part of Himself in you. You could say that you have the DNA of Almighty God. You are destined to do great things, destined to leave your mark on this generation. The truth is, there is nothing average about you; but too many times, we don’t realize who we are. We focus on our weaknesses or what we don’t have. We focus on the mistakes we’ve made or the family from which we’ve come. We end up settling for mediocrity when we were created for greatness!

If you’re going to break out of average, you need to remind yourself every day, “I have the DNA of the Most High God. Greatness is in my genes. I come from a bloodline of champions.” If you’ll have the attitude of a champion, you’ll live the life of a champion and boldly embrace the blessings He has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for preparing me to do the good works You have prepared. I am not average. I am not ordinary. I am created for greatness, and I belong to Almighty God. Thank You for Your faithfulness in Jesus’ name! Amen.”
My Thoughts:

Actually, yes and no…   Adam was a Son of God as also Jesus is a Son of God.   But due to the pride and disobedience of Adam he lost out on that GOD potential and died.   And then we were all born in the image of fallen Adam and born disconnected.  We find this in 1 Cor. 15:22 and originally Adam was made a living soul but died, verse 45.  But the 2nd Adam (Christ Jesus) came as a quickening spirit.   He (Christ Jesus) came to give us the way to gain back that original vision of GOD and to be made in HIS Image and Likeness.  So we have this potential but the process is straight and narrow and few there be that find it.  And as GOD never changes HIS mind that potential is still in each one of us so that who-so-ever will may come and drink of the water of life freely,  Rev.22:17.

But the WAY from where we are to being like CHRIST JESUS will take your total commitment,  Amplified Bible:  John 12:24-26….………..24,    I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest.  25 Anyone who loves his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. [Whoever has no love for, no concern for, no regard for his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and ever.]26 If anyone serves Me, he must continue to follow Me [[a]to cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying] and wherever I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

And Jesus prayed for us to be successful:  John 17:20-26…20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,21e. That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me  22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.24 Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.25 O just and righteous Father, although the world has not known You and has failed to recognize You and has never acknowledged You, I have known You [continually]; and these men understand and know that You have sent Me.26 I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very [a]Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them.

So we see it is still in our Creator’s vision to sanctify us and make us in HIS image and likeness through Christ Jesus through the process of faith and sanctification.  So as we get the picture and submit to the process He will give us grace and more faith to accomplish HIS divine purpose in us.  But we can be filled with pride and rebel just as Adam did.   Our Father in Heaven’s ultimate goal is to create a family like HIM what has heart chosen love, peace and righteousness and that is totally obedient by choice.

Jude gives us a quick look at what happen to souls if they reject the love and the grace of GOD in HIS loving restoration attempt:   Jude 11-16….11 Woe to them! For they have run riotously in the way of Cain, and have abandoned themselves for the sake of gain [it offers them, following] the error of Balaam, and have perished in rebellion [like that] of Korah!  12 These are hidden reefs (elements of danger) in your love feasts, where they boldly feast sumptuously [carousing together in your midst], without scruples providing for themselves [alone]. They are clouds without water, swept along by the winds; trees, without fruit at the late autumn gathering time—twice (doubly) dead, [lifeless and] plucked up by the roots;  13 Wild waves of the sea, flinging up the foam of their own shame and disgrace; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of eternal darkness has been reserved forever.14 It was of these people, moreover, that Enoch in the seventh [generation] from Adam prophesied when he said, Behold, the Lord comes with His myriads of holy ones (ten thousands of His saints)  15 To execute judgment upon all and to convict all the impious (unholy ones) of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed [in such an] ungodly [way], and of all the severe (abusive, jarring) things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.  16 These are inveterate murmurers (grumblers) who complain [of their lot in life], going after their own desires [controlled by their passions]; their talk is boastful and arrogant, [and they claim to] admire men’s persons and pay people flattering compliments to gain advantage.

Most of the divisions in Christianity are teaching what makes their particular division sustainable. And it makes the real depth of the Truth of God is hard to find today,  it is so well watered down and sugar coated to make it more palatable as to hardly be effective at all.   Often  we understand more Truth that we are effectively using,  this is normal.  It take time for the heart to learn what the head is learning.  We may have tried many time to make Jesus LORD in our heads prior to making HIM LORD in our hearts and really beginning to be on the road to sanctification and ultimate salvation.  It truly is a walk of Heart faith.  And Heart faith comes by ingesting the WORD OF GOD in the HEART,  not just the head of understanding.  Heart Faith changes life actions,  head faith does not.  Heart faith brings maturity and reproduction in kind.  Head faith changes very little.  Faith without works is dead, being alone.  James 2:17.

JESUS

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of God, "WORTH CONSIDERING" JESUS 5/2/19 (Across my desk this morning and well "WORTH CONSIDERING." I never was a hippy nor took drugs nor smoked pot but somehow I got sucked up in the Jesus movement from 1968 to 1979 and had the best time of my life in making friends and brethren out of hippies. Experienced seeing 1,000's find Jesus as LORD and walk out the Truth of the New Testament as their guide book in power. Yours in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org (Local House Church, Friday Evening, 85-4554 Mamalahoa Hwy. Capt. Cook, HI 96704) WE NEED Another JESUS MOVEMENT by J. Lee Grady Share In today´s hip, sophisticated churches, we often forget to preach about Jesus. Let´s get back to basics. I became a serious Christian at the tail end of the Jesus movement. I was too young to remember the hippie beads, tie-dyed shirts and "Jesus Is Groovy" slogans, but the songs were still popular when I was in college (from musicians such as Andrae Crouch, Love Song and Barry McGuire), as were the movies (especially The Cross and the Switchblade.) The Jesus movement was like a spiritual tsunami that washed over hundreds of thousands of young people in the late 1960s and early `70s and brought them into a personal relationship with Christ. Some of these kids had been drug addicts and social misfits; most were just average Joes and Janes who discovered that Jesus is a lot more exciting than traditional churches had led them to believe... Lately I find myself waxing nostalgic for those days-not because I want to return to the awkward fashions and hairstyles of 1972, but because I miss the spiritual simplicity of that era. The Jesus movement was primarily focused on-surprise!-Jesus. Theology was not complicated, pastors weren´t trying to be hip or sophisticated or tech-savvy; and we hadn´t yet created a Christian subculture with its own celebrities and political power bases. Today, we just don´t preach enough about Jesus. This is certainly true in many charismatic churches, where we´ve become experts on everything but basic Christian theology 101. In my travels this past year I´ve been horrified to learn that many Spirit-filled believers have given up the discipline of reading their Bibles even semi- regularly. They prefer a steady diet of culturally relevant, fast-paced, techno-theology that is a poor substitute for discipleship. Many charismatics have developed the attitude that a simple focus on Christ isn´t enough. We´d rather go to a "prophetic encounter"... or experience some exotic spiritual manifestation (gold dust, gems falling out of the ceiling), or ask Rev. Flash-in-the-Pan to pray for us for the sixteenth time so we can receive yet another "special anointing" that we will probably never use. In the midst of all this charismatic gobbledygook, where is Jesus? Am I the only one out there who is weary of this distraction? Call me old-fashioned, but I´ve decided to get back to the basics of the faith. That´s why I am reading What Jesus Is All About?, a classic book written more than 50 years ago by Henrietta Mears, a Bible teacher who helped mentor both Billy Graham and Bill Bright in the 1940s. Mears explains in her book how each of the four gospels-Matthew, Mark, Luke and John-give us a unique, four-dimensional portrait of the Savior. According to Mears: Matthew was written to Jews to tell of a Promised Savior who is also a King-and it uses the word "kingdom" 55 times. Mark was written to Gentiles to tell of a Powerful Savior-and it reports more miracles than any other gospel. Luke was written by a Gentile to tell of a Perfect Savior-and it has the most references to Jesus´ humanity. John was written by "the disciple whom Jesus loved" to tell of a Personal Savior-and it has the most references to Jesus´ divine nature. The Holy Spirit who inspired the Bible knew we needed more than a one-, two- or three-dimensional look at Jesus. The Spirit gave us a four-dimensional view so that we could gaze at Him from all sides and become captivated by His magnificence-His supreme kingship, His compassionate mercy, His supernatural power, His perfect justice, His amazing humility and His love for sinners like you and me. There´s so much more to Jesus than we realize. And there is so much more to say about Him than we are telling our generation. That´s why I´m spending most of my study time in the four gospels for the next few months. I want a fresh revelation of Jesus! Perhaps another Jesus movement will be unleashed in our country when we discard our distractions and focus on Him again. SOURCE - http://www.charismamag.com/index.php/fire-in-my-bones

PEACE

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,

“WORTH CONSIDERING”      PEACE     5/1/19    (On my desk this morning from Joel,  good word,  needed it.)

Today’s Scripture
“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”  (Mark 4:39, NKJV)

My Comments:
And my first reaction is…. YES !!!  …  I can use some peace about now.   Seems like when the house church was started 4 weeks ago that everything that could blow up or come apart has become a continuing event.  Not going to go into details but as soon as the house church was started,  the quit button has been ringing.  But what I teach I ought to be about walking it out.  So keep me in your prayers.   And frankly when you walk into a Gym the fist session’s are the roughest,  yes?   So for the House Church folks,  see you Friday….

Mostly going to church is not intrusive nor personal but just about everything that Jesus did or said was very personal or intrusive.  He came to get us healed and to set us free.  He said HE came to bring a sword that would divide the light from the darkness.  That HE would remove the fear and give us love, power and a sound mind.  He was very gentle with stupid sinners but very tough on the sinners who knew better.  He even called the religious leaders of HIS day the children of the devil in John 8.  If you read the 4 gospels for content and meaning you will remember very few sermons that you have heard that were that intrusive or personal.  Christ Jesus was not concerned about the budget and HE was absolutely fearless.

PEACE with GOD comes when we completely join HIM in HIS attitudes concerning sin and co-dependency which we sometimes mislabel as love.  Indulgent love may make us feel good but in the end the results are negative.  The only way that love is effective is if it is framed with truth and this,  Jesus did profoundly well.  Real Peace can only be found while walking in love, humility and obedience in God’s Truth.  The Word of God teaches us that LUST when it conceives brings forth Sin and Sin when it is finished brings forth death James 1:14-16.  What that means is if we play with lust, of any kind,  then eventually it will find a home and erode our faith to the point of where we eventually become detached from GOD and HIS plans for us to make us in HIS image in HIS ETERNITY.

So for a HAPPY Ending to your life, Apostle Paul encourages us in this way:   1. Col.2:14-16:    14 And above all these things put on charity (LOVE), which is the bond of perfectness.15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

SANCTIFICATION

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,   John3:16,   12:24-26,  17:20-26

“WORTH CONSIDERING”     SANCTIFICATION     5/1/19    (Across my desk a few days ago,  been too busy.)

Today’s Scripture
“But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”  (1 Corinthians 6:11, NLT)

His Name is the Key
Something supernatural happens on the inside of you when you call on the name of the Lord. First of all, the Bible tells us that God actually makes His home in your heart by the Holy Spirit. Not only that, but when you call on His name, you are calling on everything He represents—life, peace, strength, hope, joy, healing, deliverance, forgiveness and so much more! It’s like receiving the key to a mansion filled with treasures—and it’s all yours! You can see that key in your hand; you can tell other people about it; you can know that you have access anytime you want, but you still have to take a step and use the key to open the door before you can partake of the blessings inside. And you probably wouldn’t just peak in the door or visit once a week; no, move right in! Make the decision today to move into God’s abundant blessings by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus. Call on His name and move right in to His provision, His joy, His peace, His love. You have the key, so receive the abundant life He has prepared for you today!

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, thank You for cleansing me and making me new by Your Spirit. Thank You for giving me access to Your wonderful blessings through Your Son, Jesus. I bless You and praise You today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Sanctification or “To be made holy” in the Bible is a process.  In the Greek the “you were” justified was added by the translators the same for “you were” made holy.  So our submission to Christ Jesus as LORD, Rom. 10:9-10 is the beginning of the process in which the Holy Spirit helps to make each of us into a holy person who is fit for the Kingdom of God for eternity.  But the decision for this process may be terminated at any time if we withdraw from the process by the loss of our faith,  Rom.11:20-23.   We are granted one lifetime to, by faith, choose to learn to learn to LOVE and become humble and obedient.  And our decisions in this life time will set the course for our eternity in light or darkness.

In Adam’s defection we were all born dead spiritually but in Christ Jesus we can be restored by having a spiritual re-birth,  John 3:3-18.   But this is just the beginning of a spiritual life of how to learn to walk with the Holy Spirit in the way.  In the parable of the sower Jesus taught about the 4 kinds of soil:  Stony, Shallow, Weedy and Good,  Matt.13:3-23.  The good seed did not even grow in the stony ground.  The good seed sprouted in the shallow and weedy soil but died.  Only in the good soil did the Good Seed germinate and produce fruit.

We purchased a 1/2 acre in Kealia (so. Capt. Cook, HI.) about a year ago and because of the brush and stuff on the ground found out later that it was a total rock pile,  hardy any soil at all.  We had to have 90 yards of rock hauled away so we could even begin to put in a garden.  So we are now in the process now of turning our stony, shallow weedy soil into good soil and a garden.  It has not been easy but we are now growing 20 fruit trees, corn, tomatoes, beans, pumpkins and all kinds of good stuff.   Each of us is also in the process of being made into a garden of the Lord or we do not belong to HIM at all.  HE is not going to put up with our ego, pride, rebellion, lust and other junk in HIS Eternal Kingdom of Righteousness and Joy.  We either allow HIM to put us through the process of becoming good soil or we can take our rocks and weeds on into the very dark and black eternity of HIS absence.  Jesus is the example of love, humility and obedience that GOD wants to also plant in us.

Today is a beautiful Wednesday at about 86 outside this morning and 77 inside,  just the morning warm up.  The temp gauge outside is in the sun.  And about  76% humidity…   Probably rain again this afternoon,  best kind of water for the plants.   Bible Fellowship on Friday’s starting to be more focused after 4 weeks.   Always interesting to see what the Holy Spirit is going to do each week.    Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><     www.Trinity-Aloha.org   (For more “Worth Considering”  find the link at the bottom of the Home Page.)

LIGHT

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of GOD,  John 3:16,  12:24-26,  17:20-26

LIGHT,     WORTH CONSIDERING,      4/29/19   (Across my desk this morning for Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”  (Psalm 119:105, ESV)

A Light for Your Path
When we type an address into our navigation system, “Route Overview” gives us the details of our trip—where we’re going, how long it’s going to take, and every turn to make. We can relax, knowing all the details. God has a route overview for your life. He knows your final destination and the best way to get you there. But God doesn’t show you the details. The Scripture says His Word is a lamp to our feet. A lamp implies you have enough light to see the path in front of you. He’s not giving you the light that shows your life road for the next fifty years. He leads you one step at a time. If you trust Him and take that step into the unknown, not knowing how it’s going to work out, He’ll show you another step. Step-by-step, He’ll lead you into your destiny.

Our question is, will you be bold and take the next step that God gives you with the light you have? The unknown is where miracles happen, where you discover abilities you never knew you had, and where you’ll accomplish more than you ever dreamed. If you have the courage to do what you know He’s asking you to do, He has the provision, the favor, and all that you need to go to the next level.

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, I humbly come to You giving You all that I am. I invite You to direct my steps by the light of Your Word. Fill me with Your peace and confidence as You show me the good plan You have in store. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
In my daily walk though life I look for the souls who seem to be looking for the “LIGHT.”   They may not yet have found the light of GOD but they are looking.  It is my deep joy when I am able to help them along the way.  I don’t use the 4 Spiritual Laws even though they are accurate.  I often give them the tract that I have included below.  If you go to Google to  Bible Gateway, and look up light in the New Testament you will be amazed as to how important the concept of the light of God really is.  Luke writes in 1:79  that Jesus came “
to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.  And that we are called to be the light of the world,  Matt.5:14-16.  The Tract I use is only scripture as follows:  My Print Shop prints it for .10 cents each folded.  I am on about 2010 now with the 3rd printing.   Feel free to do the same.  Send me your address and I will send you some, happy to do so.  Also attached in WP8.

Let There Be Light

And God said, let there be light and there was light: (1).   Arise, shine: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee (2).    Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light (3). This is the message which we have heard and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (4).   He that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God  (5).   If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin (6). This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (7).   For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved (8). But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (9).  Thy Light shall break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward (10).  Ye are the light of the world.  A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. (11).  The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light (12).  The city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the Light thereof (13).  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever (14).

ROMANS 8:16-39

WORTH CONSIDERING,  CAME IN TODAY FROM A GOOD FRIEND AND ORTHODOX BISHOP.   4/28/19

Martin Luther….

SO ARE WE  VERY HAPPY TO HAVE ROMANS 8:18-38  Amplified Bible,  Classic Edition  (If you don’t ingest the truth of these scriptures you will be profoundly missing out…)
Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><    www.Trinity-Aloha.org

16 The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.

17 And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.

18 [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and [g]for us and [h]conferred on us!

19 For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].

20 For the creation (nature) was subjected to [i]frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope

21 That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children.

22 We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.

23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God’s sons).

24 For in [this] hope we were saved. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees?

25 But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience andcomposure.

26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.

27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.

28 We are assured and know that [[j]God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was [k]aware and [l]loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.

30 And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].

31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?

33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]

34 Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?

35 Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?

36 Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors [m]and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things [n]impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,

39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

HUMILITY & OBEDIENCE

WORTH CONSIDERING,   THE LORD’S DAY   4/17/19

INGESTING Christ’s Humility,  Philippians 2 New International Version (NIV)

1. Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature[a] God,    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;  7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,  being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man,     he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—  even death on a cross!  9  Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,10  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,  11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.

Do Everything Without Grumbling
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”[c] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. 17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.

My Thoughts,
Humility & Obedience ????  So where, how and with whom are we leaning these profound lessons of the coming KINGDOM from?  Even being in subjection to the Holy Spirit can be funny money as it goes through our rebellious filters.  And we can use GOD’s name to justify about any thing we want to if in the flesh. I have heard Christians using God’s name in vain a lot to support their own little ivory tower.

We are all in a temporary time dimension school on planet earth to basically learn humility and obedience.   The school grades are something like this,  children, mother, father, elders, scriptures, Holy Spirit, Jesus and finally Father God Almighty.   So what grade level are you in and how are you doing?  What kind of grades are you getting?  My schooling in the world was unmotivated and mostly “C”‘s.  Obviously Christ Jesus nailed it so HE is our primary example.   Floyd in Long Beach had it nailed and helped me find Christ Jesus as Lord in 1955.  Might suggest a study on humility and obedience in Strong’s to get a good overview.    As Christ Jesus is either LORD of all, or not LORD at all.
