FORGETTING PAST

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

FORGETTING PAST,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/9/19    (Across my desk this morning and exceptional.)

Today’s Scripture
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before…”    Phil. 3:13

Open the Door to Blessing
We all go through disappointments, setbacks and things that we don’t understand. Maybe you prayed for a loved one, but they didn’t get well. Or maybe you worked hard for a promotion, but you didn’t get it. You stood in faith for a relationship, but it didn’t work out. One of the best things you can do is release it. Let it go. Don’t dwell on it anymore. If you go around wondering why things didn’t work out, all that’s going to do is lead to bitterness, resentment and self-pity. Before long, you’ll be blaming others, blaming yourself or even blaming God. You may not have understood what happened. It may not have been fair. But when you release it, it’s an act of your faith. You’re saying, “God, I trust You. I know You’re in control. And even though it didn’t work out my way, You said, ‘All things are going to work together for my good.’ So I believe You still have something good in my future.”  There is power in letting go of the past and the frustration of trying to figure everything out. When you release your questions, you are saying, “God, You are in control. I trust You.” And when you put your hope in God, that’s when He can heal your heart and lead you forward into His path of blessing.

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, I come to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Help me to forgive and release the past. Heal my heart and restore my soul. Show me the good plan You have for my future as I keep my mind stayed on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
This is very powerful, think about it, what can anyone do to change the past?  And yet if allowed, the fear and pain of the past can easily destroy our dreams and future.   Making a big brain rut in our head out of the past can crowd out the potential good of any future.  Talking stink can only take up precious time that could be helpful to myself and others in considering the good things of life to do.  So if we need to repent, and it is necessary, 1 John 1:9,  and receive God’s forgiveness in GRACE, pick up what is left of our day’s on earth and forge ahead with the life we have been blessed to have.  After all there is much to learn from both the bad and good in the light of GOD.  Nothing is ever wasted in the Kingdom of God.  But learning by rebellion, pride and experience can be very painful.  While learning by faith can be very joyful.  The Word of God is written so that we can make our way more focused and direct and be less painful in our learning of how to use our free will in support of GOD’s Kingdom rather than against.  How can God fill our cup with HIS blessings if it is already full of our past junk and worse?

2 Tim.3:16-17,

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Acts 17:11,
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Psalms 119:11-17,
10
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

God has a vision that HE is working on and has invited us to become a unique member of HIS eternal family.  That is , if we will allow HIM to help us make the jump to light speed and quit destroying things.  He has given us free will to be able to learn to love HIM, ourselves and each other and to from the heart submit to HIS authority.  But we can use the same free will to be self centered and choose the outer darkness.

Today’s Scripture
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…”  (Ecclesiastes 9:10, NIV)

Open the Door to Blessing
When you give 100 percent effort, and you do it to the best of your ability because you’re honoring God, you will have His blessing. That means it will be easier, it will go better, and you will accomplish more. That’s why no matter what we do, we should give it our best. This is especially true even in the little things. For example, when you’re doing the dishes or mowing the lawn, don’t drag around all sour and frustrated. Mow with enthusiasm, as though you’re on a mission from God! With every step, thank God that your legs work. Thank Him that you’re healthy and strong. At the office, don’t do just enough to get by. You’re not working unto people, you’re working unto God. Do it with your whole heart. When you volunteer at church, don’t wake up and think, “Awe, man. Why did I volunteer? I want to sleep in!” No, serve Him with all your heart because that’s what honors God. When you honor God, He’ll honor you. He’ll give you His life, peace, health and blessing now and forevermore!

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, thank You for Your hand of blessing on my life. I choose today to serve You with my whole heart and do everything to the best of my ability. Thank You for Your faithfulness to me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
It is my understanding in the physical, that muscles grow biger when pressed a little beyond their capacity.  You know,  “What does not kill you, makes you stronger!”   It would see to be the same in the spiritual realm as well.   When we commit ourselves to “cleaning to the corners” then we are blessed with more to work with and more exciting things to do.  The word used in the Bible is heartily:

Col.3:23   “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the LORD, and not unto men;”

So if you are interested in Spiritual Growth then looking for the soft stuff to slid by on will keep you in the same little boring box that has become your comfort zone.  Some ex-believers have even died spiritually in their little, self made,  comfort zones.  Rom. 11:20-22,  Heb.6:4-8

As a growing edge, sharing your faith with others, is a good start.  Giving the folks who walk in darkness the light of God has great rewards and also potential persecutions.  But a spiritual growing edge, it is.  Giving out tracts gives us a lot of growing room over fear.  But when you find a soul who is looking for light and give them HIS light, there is such great rewards.  Want to really get out on your growing edge,  start a “New Testament House Church” or join one.  Never know what is going to happen.  Bible only, no traditions.  We have been under attack for some weeks now for starting a “House Church” in the middle of enemy territory,  but are getting stronger.    Jesus told Peter,  “…Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”  I believe this is still true today as per John 17:20,  2,000 years later.  So let get with it, clean to the corners and go fish for for the souls of men.

I do a little fishing in the “Liturgical pond” with my internet domain:  www.CCCInt.org   Smells Catholic but pure Bible..  Might use with your Catholic Friends.   Gets a lot of Internet action,  in eternity will find out how much good it did.  You never know but it is out of the boat and on the water.

LOVE

Aloha Family and Friends,   Beloved of God,  John 3:16

LOVE,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”
    7/7/19

I really like things like this,  the simplicity makes me think…  A good friend and Orthodox Bishop sends this stuff out.  We don’t agree on a lot of things but we have grown into being good friends,  anyway.

HOW ABOUT A LITTLE TIME IN 1 JOHN IN CONSIDERING WHAT JOHN HAS BEEN TAUGHT BY JESUS ABOUT LOVE?

But he who keeps (treasures) His Word [who bears in mind His precepts, who observes His message in its entirety], truly in him has the love of and for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity). By this we may perceive (know, recognize, and be sure) that we are in Him:

See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called andcounted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.

By this it is made clear who take their nature from God and are His children and who take their nature from the devil and are his children: no one who does not practice righteousness [who does not conform to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action] is of God; neither is anyone who does not lovehis brother (his fellow believer in Christ).

We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death.

By this we come to know (progressively to recognize, to perceive, to understand) the [essential] love: that He laid down His [own] life for us; and we ought to lay [our] lives down for [those who are our] brothers [in Him].

But if anyone has this world’s goods (resources for sustaining life) and sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him?

And this is His order (His command, His injunction): that we should believe in (put our faith and trust in and adhere to and rely on) the name of His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and that we should love one another, just as He has commanded us.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him].

In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him.

No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!

And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.

In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].

If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.

By this we come to know (recognize and understand) that we love the children of God: when we love God and obey His commands (orders, charges)—[when we keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and His teaching].

For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous).

LAW

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS

LAW,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/5/19

Much in my e-mail in the last week centered in the conflict between LAW and GRACE,  some for it (LAW) and some not.  It is very interesting for me that GOD spent about 2,000 years in collecting a people together to allow them to show that the LAW does not work.   Today we raise the call that we are a nation of LAW.   And yet no one can really pin point what the law really is.   The original approach of GOD was to have prophets who would be sensitive to HIM and tell the people what to do.   But they wanted a King and the law like the other nations.  You see, if you know the law really well you can always figure out a way to circumvent it and be the exception yourself.  So the BIG TEN ended up in not guiding the people but in the people making further laws to make the BIG TEN void.  That is just part of the Adamic nature of pride and rebellion and wanting to be a king in one’s own little ivory palace.  And the subordinates of those on top are then only looking for the opportunity to replace those on top.   So to be the Top Gun and to have the most freedom is an illusion or a lie.   As the more authority and control and stuff that you have,  the more energy you must use to maintain it.  So then we become God’s chosen, frozen, dedicated to the preservation of the stuff.

So GOD allowed this lie to continue until the appointed time for Christ Jesus to come and restore man to GOD’s TRUTH.  That is, if he wants it.

Christ Jesus and HIS Apostles brought us a New Testament, a new WILL that basically pronounced that the letter of the LAW,  KILLS.   It is the Spirit that gives life.   So now we have the opportunity to learn to walk in the Spirit of God in Love, Humility, Faith and Obedience towards GOD as originally intended.   That we no longer need to be concerned about the stuff but simple about pleasing GOD and getting to know HIM and learn to hear HIS voice.  So life consists not in the abundance of things that we possess but by every WORD that proceeds from the mouth of GOD.   And if we really want life we should spend time in the Word of God to lean HIS ways.   We should be in faith preparing for a loving orderly eternity as earthly life is very short and you can only take with us what we send ahead.

GREAT QUOTES on “PHARISEES”

"Pharisaism is a poisonous weed that grows in every garden of orthodox religion. Pharisaism is every bit the threat to the orthodox today that it was then." - J.D. Greear "Sometimes we emulate the Pharisees more than we imitate Christ." -R. C. Sproul "If God cared only about religious activities, then the Pharisees would have been heroes of the faith." -Francis Chan "Legalism is a subtle danger because no one thinks of himself as a legalist." - Philip Yancey "The law repels, the gospel attracts. The law shows the distance which there is between God and man; the gospel bridges that awful chasm, and brings the sinner across it." - Charles Haddon Spurgeon "Primary enemy of the Gospel-legalism... People avoid the gospel and try to save themselves by keeping the rules, doing what they´re told, maintaining the standards, and so on (you could call this "front-door legalism")." - Tullian Tchividjian "A pharisee is hard on others and easy on himself, but a spiritual man is easy on others and hard on himself." -Aiden Wilson Tozer

FREEDOM

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of GOD,   John 3:16

FREEDOM,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/4/19   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
You have been set free from sin…”  (Romans 6:18, NIV)

Declare Your Freedom
Today we celebrate Independence Day in America. July 4, 1776 was the day America declared independence from Britain, but the battle for freedom went on until 1783—seven years later. Even though they declared their freedom in 1776, they had to stand and fight for many years before the British would accept and recognize the United States of America. In the same way, we have to be determined to stand against the opposing forces in our lives. We have to declare our freedom from addiction, poverty, sickness and lack. We have to stand and fight until we fully experience that freedom and peace that God has promised. I love what the early colonists did once they signed the Declaration of Independence. They read it out loud in public. They published it in the newspaper. They spread the word. They continued to declare and celebrate even though they were in the midst of the battle. Whatever battle you may be facing today, declare that you are free. Declare that you are an overcomer. Celebrate the victory that is on its way! As you stand strong and declare your freedom, you will experience His victory and you will live in true freedom all the days of your life!

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, thank You for setting me free in every area of my life. I declare today that nothing can hold me back. I declare that I am free from sickness, poverty, lack and addiction. I declare that You have set me free and thank You for freedom in every area of my life.”

My Thoughts:    (Exceptional advice today.)
Just this morning as I was sending out the previous “Worth Considering” about returning to being under the Hebrew Law,  and sent it out.    Then along came a really heavy oppression that hit my right shoulder with a lot of pain and then made me feel sick and want to barf.   I set up and said, what is this?  And went to war with the Blood of the Lamb of God and in 15 minutes is was gone,  PTL…   Does not work all the time like that but at that moment in time, I regained a bit of my freedom.  Have done that also with headaches and ringing in my ears and gained freedom in minutes.  But now, at my age, I am working on finding more faith to get my feet fixed.  So there is a growth in faith.   In Gen 6:3 Moses writes that God has given us a 120 healthy years of life expectancy if we do the maintenance.  About 40 years ago I put a paper together on FREEDOM, as to the homework.    If interested here is the web location:
https://trinity-aloha.org/Contents/10_Steps/10_steps.html
We all like freedom,  the big problem is that we can not tell the lie from the truth.  So we get sold a lot of stuff (fruit) that we think will set us free and it just puts us in deeper bondage.  So really,  all of the things that God tells us not to do are for our freedom.  And all of the things that God tells us to do, help us to be free.   Plus the effects of God’s Freedom sets us up to live with HIM for eternity.   While the effects of the lies that promise us freedom only lead us into death and darkness.  So take some time today to “Consider” what in your life is a lie and death and what in your life is GOD’s TRUTH and FREEDOM.  Old habits are hard to break, but it can be done.  Christ Jesus has assured us that with HIS help He can teach us to walk in the Spirit and not give in to the lusts of the fresh that we inherited from Adam.  That, REALLY,  in HIM we can be retrained, to be a new creation, to be a HOLY PEOPLE.

2 Timothy 1:7 [Full Chapter]

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

But now since you have been set free from sin and have become the slaves of God, you have your present reward in holiness and its end is eternal life.

And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

“HEBREW ROOTS” – Dangerous??

Below is a very interesting testimony from a lady who was deeply
involved in these movements.

Like me, you have probably come across Christian groups telling us Gentile Christians that we need to get back to the Torah and observe the Jewish Sabbath and Feast Days, etc. This is often called the “Hebrew Roots” movement – and some of it is fine – simply learning more about Jewish culture and traditions, etc. But then there is the very real danger of LEGALISM. To me, the entire thrust of the movement ends up going right against the New Testament – in fact, right against true Christianity. I think it can become very dangerous. -The bondage of the Law again.  It is quite amazing to the me the number of people who are being caught up in all this – as though it were the “great answer” to all our problems! (It’s not).

Below is the testimony of a woman who was deeply involved:

“I wanted to share with you why I feel that the Hebrew Roots Movement & Sacred Name Movement is just as dangerous as the The Latter Rain Doctrine. Coming out of both I feel confident in saying so. I grew up in the Assembly of God church, one that did not teach Latter Rain/Dominion poison. After my husband and I were married (he grew up Baptist) we began searching for something deeper ( I think that is how you get sucked into Latter Rain etc., you feel like there just has to be something more, sadly the Word of God is not enough). We began attending a non-denominational church which would turn out to be one of many disastrous church
experiences.

This church was heavy Dominionist and were really into the “shepherding” thing so that they knew everything about everyone and would use it as a form of control. This was our first experience with the prophetic movement and we were drawn in by it. After leaving there because of the control issues (we did not notice the theology was twisted because we were deceived) we continued on in the prophetic circles including attending Bill Hamon’s church when we were able to travel there and reading everything we could from all the big NAR’s. Well after about 10 years of this running after new revelation (we had a huge box of tapes with personal prophecies!) we became really disallusioned with the hypocrisy,  lawlessness and cheap grace attitudes. We decided to leave the Apostolic/Prophetic church that we were attending. This did not sit well with the “Apostle”. In these types of churches you do not leave unless you are “sent out” by the Apostle, which never happens by the way.

After leaving we were contacted by a couple that had left a few months before we had. Before visiting with them, I remember really clearing going to my bookshelf and taking a book off the shelf that was a study on Galatians, I know now the Lord was trying to warn me but sadly I put the book back without taking a look at it. Well we began to meet with this couple and we shared our frustrations about the lawlessness, etc. that we had left (at the time I did not know anything about Latter Rain and how it was connected to the
Prophetic/Apostolic movement, it would have explained so much).

They gave us a book by Lew White called Fossilized Customs. The book has some facts but much twisted truth. We took the bait though. The whole book is about how the name Jesus is supposedly pagan along with a lot of other extreme ideas! Thus Sacred Name. These people believe that you can only use the name Yahweh when referring to God, the Father and Yeshua (some use Yahushua) all else is pagan and Satan has deceived all Christians into using the name Jesus and that Jesus really means Zeus! And this has been revealed to only the remnant (notice the Gnostic elitism) which is funny because they pride themselves on staying away from anything remotely Greek!

Well this began a four year journey with these people. We backed off a bit of the Sacred name only but began studying many Jewish writings. You must understand that this was all very gradual and the leader of this group was very skilled at studying things and presenting it to us.

Sadly to say we drifted more and more from the New Testament, the new covenant and the cross of Christ. That is the danger of the Hebrew Roots movement. You want so desperately to return to the Word of God but in the end it takes you away from it in it’s entirety. The leader began planting seeds such as” the New Testament was not totally flawless since it had been written in Greek there were many different texts and some may not be accurate”. He began to pick and choose and before we ended up leaving he had pretty much thrown out Galatians and John because it did not reconcile to his theology! He taught that the Virgin birth was just a doctored up Catholic version of the Word. He taught that Jesus was Joseph and Mary’s natural born son even though he could not prove this scripturely. That is why he brought into question the accuracy of the translations.

You are probably saying “how could you stay?” All I can say is that deception does not happen over night it is gradual, we became emotionally tied to these people and looked to them as a mother and father (I think that is why many stay in abusive churches).

We participated in the feasts of the Bible and of course we observed
Sabbath religiously every Saturday (what got me is that instead of us resting we had to go to the leader’s home early that morning to hear hours of his twisted teaching!). He began to teach that we became righteous through the law and that was why Yeshua came to show us how to keep the law. He actually began to teach that we needed to keep as much of the Law of Moses that we could and it was lawlessness not to do so. In essence you basically had to convert to Judaism even though we literally did not.

We started to get a clue about a year before we actually cut all ties and we started to question him about some of the laws in the Old Covenant and how we were uncomfortable with some about slavery for instance, of course he came up with some justification about it. Around this time he began making references to having more than one wife. My husband and I were really uncomfortable with these continuous comments and so one day we confronted him (his wife was not present and by the way it was obvious this journey was taking it’s toll on her as well by this time.) He told us he was one of those that could love more than one woman! (There is double standard because it is unthinkable for a woman to have more than one husband in their eyes!). We told him “what about the words of Jesus (in the beginning God made male and female, etc.) but what was obvious to us was not to him. If it wasn’t in “Torah” then it didn’t count!

Well that was it, I cried all weekend and we just began to think about everything and the path that we had been on and how far we had strayed from the gospel and it was heartbreaking! I take full
responsibility for allowing myself to be deceived but I must say that man really messed with my mind! He was skilled in twisting scripture and to this day I still struggle with some things. I almost lost my faith in God because of my involvement with these people. My husband came through a little easier than myself.

I have to say there are many sects within the Hebrew Roots movement and not all believe what I have shared. But the core belief is that the church has strayed from it’s Hebrew roots and that God is restoring this revelation (the same theme of the Latter Rain) but only to a select few and the rest of the church is pagan. Because of this belief you begin to cut yourself off from the Body of Christ and before you know it you are isolated. You are no longer the salt of the world. You do not witness or share the gospel anymore because you don’t believe the gospel anymore!

The very thing that you think is bringing you closer to God (returning
to His word) takes you further away because it is a twisted perception of the Word of God. My heart goes out to anyone caught up in this deception because it leaves you so confused. I praise God that he opened our eyes to this and for His grace and mercy and for the blood of Jesus which is our true Redeemer!”

THE WAY

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

THE WAY,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/3/19   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
I will go before you and make the crooked places straight…”(Isaiah 45:2, NKJ)

He Prepares Your Path
Are you going through a season where you feel like every time you try to move forward, you hit a roadblock? Something happens that throws you off course. Be encouraged today because when you submit your life to the Lord, He promises to go before you. He is preparing a way for you. He is making your crooked places straight and your rough places smooth. You may be going through a difficult time right now, but it’s not the end. It’s only the beginning, and God has equipped you for this journey. Today, if you feel like you’re in a dry season, don’t look at your circumstances. Look at the promise of God! If you’ll keep speaking words of faith, God promises that He’ll anoint your head with oil and your cup will run over. That means you’ll be refreshed and anointed to do what He’s called you to do. God is preparing your path and equipping you for the journey. What do you need in order to keep moving forward? Start by checking your attitude. Don’t go around complaining or focused on the negative side of things. Put on an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. Thank Him for making your crooked places straight! Keep your eyes on Him and follow Him forward into the path of victory!

A Prayer for Today
“Lord in heaven, thank You for Your goodness in my life. Thank you for preparing the path for my life and making my crooked places straight. Thank You for restoring my soul and life and guiding me in everything I do. I submit every area of my life to You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
As the Hippies would say in the 70’s,   “RIGHT ON.”    Like Peter walking on the water,  he did fine with his eyes on the LORD in faith,  quiet an experience,  anti gravity.  But when the wind and waves got his attention he was a goner.  Jesus still picked him up but he got upbraided for his lack of faith.  I would have thought that he should get a pat on the back for being the only disciple out there.  None of the other guys got to walk on the water even a little bit.  They were all hugging the boat.  So who are we with,  Peter or the other guys?  Peter actually learned to have enough faith to walk on the water for a while.  The LORD was pulling for him to be able to do as HE was doing.  Now that is an amazing thing.  Christ Jesus wants us to learn to do what HE did and then go on to do even greater things than HE did.  So how much time to we spend learning to walk in faith?   And how much time do we spend hugging the boat?  “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”   We are encouraged to bring every thought to be what Jesus would think by the Word of God,  “Bible.”

On the mount of olives we see Christ Jesus doing exactly that.  He knew the Old Testament scriptures of Psalms 22 and Isaiah 53 of exactly what was on “THE WAY”  in front of HIM.  He prayed,  “If possible let this cup pass from me,  but never the less, not my will but thy will be done.”   Most of us have not even taken the time to even get to know the voice of GOD in our heart, much less obey HIM.  So how do we find, “Our WAY” on the path of life to HIM?  By choosing to immerse ourselves in HIS love in humility, faith and obedience in doing what we already know to do.  When we are obedient to what we already know then HE will open the doors to more of HIS Kingdom.  To walk on the water, we must first get out of the boat.

ROD OF IRON

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of God,  John 3:16

ROD OF IRON,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/2/19,   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”  (Psalm 139:14, NKJ)

Don’t Confuse Your “Do” With Your “Who”
Have you ever noticed that when you ask someone “Who are you?” a lot of times they’ll say, “I’m a salesman.” “I’m a minister.” “I’m a coach.” “I’m a teacher.” Many people find their identity in what they do. The problem with this kind of thinking is that people identify themselves with their negative habits and strongholds, too. I hear people say, “I’m an alcoholic; I just can’t beat it.” No, that’s not who you are, that’s what you do. But if you keep thinking that way and talking that way, it will become so ingrained on the inside that you’ll convince yourself that it’s true, and it will keep you from rising higher. One time somebody told me, “Joel, I’m a drug dealer.” He was embarrassed by it. He didn’t want to live that way. I told him what I’m telling you, “That’s not who you are. If you’ve accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then who you are is a child of the Most High God. It’s time to start acting like it because you have a destiny to fulfill.” As a believer, you are the righteousness of God in Christ! You are the head and not the tail! You are an overcomer! Today, embrace who you are in Christ and don’t ever let your performance change your identity.

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, thank You for who You are and for who You’ve made me. I declare today that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Help me to keep my identity in You and glorify You in all that I do in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts,
This is an exceptionally good concept and well worth considering.  Many Bible verses were tethered together in the above statement.  And to add a few more,

Heb.11:1  Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. For by [faith—trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report. By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible. …   (Read the whole Chapter 11 on faith, be good for you.)

So we are to see ourselves in faith as GOD’s sees us to become what HE originally designed us to be.  So we find in the Word of God what HE has in mind for us and step into that faith picture to help it come to pass.  So WHAT does GOD see in us?

How about,  Rod of Iron?  (Christ Jesus dictating to Apostle John.)

Rev.2:26-28   And he who overcomes (is victorious) and who obeys My commands to the [very] end [doing the works that please Me], I will give him authority and power over the nations;  27 And he shall rule them with a sceptre (rod) of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, and [his power over them shall be] like that which I Myself have received from My Father;  28 And I will give him the Morning Star.

Rev.11:5   And she brought forth a male Child, One Who is destined to shepherd (rule) all the nations with an iron staff, and her Child was caught up to God and to His throne.

Rev. 19:15  From His mouth goes forth a sharp sword with which He can smite (afflict, strike) the nations; and He will shepherd and control them with a  rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath and indignation of God the All-Ruler (the Almighty, the Omnipotent).

So in these 3 parallel scriptures HE has faith for us to become HIS “Rod of Iron” in HIS RULE of the earth for a 1,000 years.  And HE also uses the Church of Christ Jesus to boot lucifer out of the heavens with his minions of fallen angels in

Rev.12:10-13,10 Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come—the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!  11 And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].  12 Therefore be glad (exult), O heavens and you that dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in fierce anger (fury), because he knows that he has [only] a short time [left]!

(The “they” here is the Church of Christ Jesus.)   In Adam we allowed lucifer to become the god of this world.   In Christ Jesus we get to boot him out of the heavens in the middle of the Great Tribulation.  He is then bound at the end of the Great Tribulation and at the end of the 1000 year Kingdom he is consigned to the Lake of fire (suffering) which is in the midst of “Blackness of Darkness” * for Eternity.    *Jude 13

And this is just one of GOD’s many faith pictures for us that we need to join into about ourselves.  Don’t feel like a rod of iron?  That is the issue.  We can not go by our feelings but by what GOD says that we are.    See how many more things that GOD sees in you that you can find in the Holy Scriptures,  like king, ambassador, priest and such?   I don’t feel much like a Rod of Iron either at 86 but GOD says that I am.  So feelings have to make room for GOD’s TRUTH, as GOD never lies and the Holy Scriptures can not be broken.

POSSIBILITIES

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John3:16

POSSIBILITIES,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/1/19   (Across my desk this morning and really good.)

Today’s Scripture
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  (Matthew 19:26, NIV)

All Things Are Possible
Are you facing something today that seems impossible? With man it may be, but with God, ALL things are possible. If you seem to be in an impossible situation, get “with God!” Sometimes it’s so easy to focus on our problems and try to solve them in our own strength. But remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. He has a plan for your victory. He has a plan to give you a way out. He is making the things that seem impossible, possible. You can trust Him today. The Bible says that He has plans for your good, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Start believing and confessing today, “I am with God, and with God all things are possible!” Are your bills piling up? With God, all things are possible. Do your relationships need healing? With God, all things are possible. Is there sickness in your body? With God, all things are possible! As you meditate on God’s Word, His power is activated in your life. He will strengthen you and lead you forward into that place of victory He has in store for you.

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, thank You for making a way where there seems to be no way. I choose to trust You, and I believe that all things are possible! Show me Your power today. Work through me to encourage those around me to trust You more in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts,
Last night I was watching and listening to a full orchestra and choir perform on TV and reflected on John 17 and Eph.4:11-16 that GOD wants to develop HIS people into that kind of a precision unity.  Seems impossible from my perspective.  We are so independent and so right in our own eyes and emotions.  We would have to have a brand new beginning and a lot of training to be able to grow into that kind of a Unity.   Take a few moments and switch to:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oag1Dfa1e_E  and consider this as being the ultimate design of GOD for the BODY of Christ Jesus.   Each a unique professional artist and there performing with a desire for a perfect unity.  Imagine the Holy Spirit as the conductor and you begin to get the vision of what GOD has in mind for us.  The Holy Spirit allowed me the wonderful experience in High School of singing in a professional choir with a full orchestra at the Los Angeles Philharmonic and it was such an awesome experience.  Thank of what that would be like as guided by the Holy Spirit to come into a true unity for the Kingdom of God.  As it is a Vision of God as prayed for in John 17 by our LORD,  Christ Jesus, it must come to pass.    So seems HE must be waiting on us to catch the vision and bring every thought captive to the mind of Christ Jesus so there can be that kind of Unique Unity for the building the Body of Christ Jesus before we get to go home?

GODS PLANS

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

GOD’S PLANS:   “WORTH CONSIDERING”  (A little something extra today in my mail.)

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the LORD. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope’” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).

Imagine that something you’ve been believing for is right ahead of you . . .      Healing,  Promotion,  Increase,  Opportunity.  Now imagine God saying to you: “I am going before you. I am making a way!”  The truth is, God is always going before you! God is always making a way for you, because He loves you!  God has an even better life for you than you can dream up on your own. The Scripture gives you this powerful truth: You can stand on this promise today! God is always at work in your life, even when you can’t see it!

2 Cor,5:21:   For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

2 Cor.9:10:   And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].

1 Tim.6:11:  But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things (of the flesh); aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart.

Heb. 6:12:  In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.

Heb. 10:22:  Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water.

Be blessed in the Lord,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org
