TREES

ALOHA FAMILY  &  FRIENDS,    Beloved of God,   john 3:16

TREES,  (In the Holy Spirit)   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   (In my mail this afternoon.)

Today’s Scripture
“They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper…”(Psalm 1:3, NRSV)
Prospering In Everything

Large trees represent power, majesty and stability. Have you ever noticed the difference between a tree planted by the water and a tree far away from water? The tree next to the water is much more healthy and vibrant. Its fruit and blossoms are more beautiful.

In the Scripture, the Word of God is compared to water. When you are “planted” in the Word of God, your spirit is fed, and you grow strong just like the tree planted by the water. Trees planted by the water will yield fruit at the right season and will not lose strength. Today’s verse tells us that those who love and obey the Lord will prosper in whatever they do.

Do you want to prosper in your relationships? Seek God’s Word regarding relationships. Do you want to prosper in your health? Seek God’s Word about healing. Do you want to prosper in your finances? Seek God’s Word regarding finances. As you seek God and His Word and follow His commands, you will grow strong and prosper in everything you do!

A Prayer for Today
“God, thank you for your Word which is truth and refreshing water to my soul. Thank you for teaching me to seek you in all that I do. I trust you today and choose to commit my every decision to you so that I can grow strong like the tree planted by the water. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
In my early ministry, I use to preach a lot on, “Root where you are planted.”  In other words, when the Holy Spirit brings us into the LORD’s Kingdom it is usually where there is good soil and good water.   Often we move before we are matured and get stunted.  Sort of like the Lord’s parable of the sower.  So go take a look at it:  Matt. 13, and how was the harvest?

And what does God expect to harvest from our tree?

But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. Gal.5:22-23

So when we come into that kind of a good change what does it do to the other folks around us?   When other folks see that it is real they want some.  They ask,  as to where you bought it.   So then:   In being a living witness, you get to be a witness for the LORD.

29 He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.  30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.  31 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.  Proverbs 11:29-31

At our new home in Kealia, we have been composting, mulching and planting like crazy…  even have a lawn now.  and everything we have planted is growing none stop.  This is exactly what our Heavenly Father wants us to do while on earth and in HIS Kingdom.  I may not live long enough to ever eat a mango off our our 3 trees but the sight of them growing and reaching for the sky each day really touches my heart each day.  We had one flat run over but it is even doing great.   So the Word of God is really the water of life,  Our LORD Jesus said:  ” But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  Matt 4:4…”

We will possible be considering these thoughts this evening at our local house church so join in with us where ever you are.

Yours, in HIS great love & wonderful grace & mercy,  Ken<><

ANSWERED PRAYER

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,   John 3:16

ANSWERED PRAYERS:     “WORTH CONSIDERING”
9/12/19  (Across my desk this evening.)

Today’s Scripture
“Depart from here and turn eastward and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan…”   (1 Kings 17:3, ESV)
Go To The Place of Blessing

In the Scripture, the prophet Elijah was living in a certain city. God said to him, “Leave this place and go down to the brook Cherith for I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” When he got to the brook, every morning just like clockwork, the ravens brought him food. He had his provision; a prepared blessing. Here’s the key: Elijah didn’t have to try to find the ravens. He just had to get to where God wanted him to be and the ravens found him.

In the same way, there is a place where God has commanded you to be blessed. Everything you need to fulfill your destiny has already been laid up for you—provision, favor, abundance. The real question today is, will you do what’s required to get to your place of blessing? Elijah could have said, “God, I don’t want to leave. I like it here. My friends are here.” But if he had stayed, he would have missed where he was commanded to be blessed.

Are you willing to do what God is asking you to do today? Listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit inside, follow His leading, and enter into the place of blessing!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for leading me to a place of blessing. Thank You for sustaining me and empowering me to fulfill Your call on my life. I choose to follow Your leading so that I can be in the place You’ve called me to in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts.
This is great to consider and works really well …… “IF”   we really know the voice of God through the Holy Spirit.   So not only is humility and obedience involved with Elijah but also clear hearing.   God does not answer prayers that originate from our carnal nature that we got from GGGranddaddy Adam,  “I want what I want when I want it.”   And God does not answer Vanity prayers to just make us look good to others.   James does share that we are like Elijah as being cut from similar cloth.  But Elijah is recorded of James as being a Sanctified or Righteous man and it goes like this:

“Is anyone among you afflicted (ill-treated, suffering evil)? He should pray. Is anyone glad at heart? He should sing praise [to God].  14 Is anyone among you sick? He should call in the church elders (the spiritual guides). And they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Lord’s name.  15 And the prayer [that is] of faith will save (heal) him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].  17 Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months.  James 5:13-17.

So we need to know the New Testament really well to strain out the static from the world, flesh and the devil that we hear in our minds.   And if we walk in God’s Truth in loving humility, faith and obedience then our prayers will be answered like Elijah.  And don’t get discouraged,  keep working on it,  it is of God for us to learn how to really pray and get answers.  He is really delighted when we line up with HIM and ask for help according to HIS will,  Luke 11:9-13,

ROCK

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

ROCK (STONE),     “WORTH CONSIDERING”   9/11/19,    (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand…”
(Psalm 40:2, NIV)
Still Standing

All of us can look back at things that should have defeated us. Maybe a divorce or a breakup should have taken you down, but look—you’re still standing! That’s the goodness of God. That addiction, all that partying should have killed you, but because of a praying loved one, you’re still standing and becoming freer. Or, maybe you lost a loved one and didn’t think you could go on. You thought you’d seen your best days, but God breathed new life into you. He lifted you out of the pit, put a new song in your heart, and here you are today, still standing.

When you go through difficult things, it’s an opportunity to see the goodness of God shine in the darkness. You see Him lift you up, restore you, promote you and heal you. When you have this history with God, you don’t get discouraged by every difficulty. You don’t fall apart because of a disappointment. You don’t get upset because people are talking about you. You know that God brought you through the darkness in the past, and He is going to bring you through in the future! Rejoice today because you are still standing and headed to the place of total victory!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for lifting me out of my difficulty and for helping me stand on solid ground. I trust Your goodness. I know that You are faithful. Help me stay focused on Your victory in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

MY THOUGHTS:

Often in my life, in some kind of an altercation I have had the other party tell me that everyone in town thinks the same as they do.  Like carrying a jury in a box with them at all times that agrees with them.  I am so very GLAD that we are taught in Holy Scripture to judge nothing before the day.  To leave the final judgment to Christ Jesus at the 2nd Resurrection.  Here we are sharing on negative judgment but not value judgments as in 1 Cor.6 as we have to make value judgments all the time, every day.  The Word of God was given by GOD to help us do exactly that.  To know HIS Truth so we could evaluate clearly right from wrong.  Of course if we don’t get into the Holy Scriptures for ourselves we can never know for sure.  There are many in the world that pervert the meanings in the Holy Scriptures to support their own little ivory kingdoms of this world and many are taken captive by the lies and painfully abused and even lost.   Isaiah,  long before Christ Jesus came, wrote these words from God,  Please read and consider several times:.   Isaiah 28:

To whom will He teach knowledge? [Ask the drunkards.] And whom will He make to understand the message? Those who are babies, just weaned from the milk and taken from the breasts? [Is that what He thinks we are?]  10 For it is [His prophets repeating over and over]: precept upon precept, precept upon precept, rule upon rule, rule upon rule; here a little, there a little.  11 No, but [the Lord will teach the rebels in a more humiliating way] by men with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people [says Isaiah, and teach them His lessons].  12 To these [complaining Jews the Lord] had said, This is the true rest [the way to true comfort and happiness] that you shall give to the weary, and, This is the [true] refreshing—yet they would not listen [to His teaching].  13 Therefore the word of the Lord will be to them [merely monotonous repeatings of]: precept upon precept, precept upon precept, rule upon rule, rule upon rule; here a little, there a little—that they may go and fall backward, and be broken and snared and taken.  14 Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scoffers who rule this people in Jerusalem!  15 Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol (the place of the dead) we have an agreement—when the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter.  16 Therefore thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am laying in Zion for a foundation a Stone, a tested Stone, a precious Cornerstone of sure foundation; he who believes (trusts in, relies on, and adheres to that Stone) will not [b]be ashamed or give way or hasten away [in sudden panic].  17 I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plummet; and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and waters will overwhelm the hiding place (the shelter).  18 And your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol (the place of the dead) shall not stand; when the overwhelming scourge passes through, then you will be trodden down by it.  19 As often as it passes through, it [the enemy’s scourge] will take you; for morning by morning will it pass through, by day and by night. And it will be utter terror merely to hear and comprehend the report and the message of it [but only hard treatment and dispersion will make you understand God’s instruction].  20 For [they will find that] the bed is too short for a man to stretch himself on and the covering too narrow for him to wrap himself in. [All their sources of confidence will fail them.]

Jesus taught it this way:

16 He will come and [[a]utterly] put an end to those tenants and will give the vineyard to others. When they [the chief priests and the scribes and the elders] heard this, they said, May it never be!  17 But [Jesus] looked at them and said, What then is [the meaning of] this that is written: The [very] Stone which the builders rejected has become the chief Stone of the corner [Cornerstone]?  18 Everyone who falls on that Stone will be broken [in pieces]; but upon whomever It falls, It will crush him [winnow him and [b]scatter him as dust].  Luke 20:16-18  And Jesus taught much on placing your foundations on stone and not sand.  Verse 18 is explained by Jesus in John 12:24-26,  a core verse for my own life.

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest.  25 Anyone who loves his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. [Whoever has no love for, no concern for, no regard for his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and ever.]  26 If anyone serves Me, he must continue to follow Me [[a]to cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying] and wherever I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

So find and stand on GOD’s provided ROCK (Christ Jesus) as nothing else will stand in the final judgment of souls.  Nothing less than a 100% total commitment will survive.

KINGDOM LAWS

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of the most HIGH,  John 3:16

KINGDOM LAWS,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”
9/10/19   (Across my desk this morning.)

Scripture:
“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”
(Matthew 5:44, NKJV)
Be Great in the Midst of Criticism

If you’re going to pursue greatness, if you’re going to be a great businessperson, a great teacher, a great parent or a great leader, you have to understand that not everyone is going to cheer you on. I’d love to tell you that your family, friends and coworkers will celebrate you, but that’s not necessarily the case. Some people simply can’t handle your success. As you grow and increase, as God pours out His favor on you, someone will get jealous and start finding fault. Don’t be surprised if a relative tries to belittle or discredit you. You can’t focus on making everyone around you happy or you’ll start changing and lose sight of what God has placed in your heart.

Remember, your destiny is too great to be distracted by people who are never going to affirm you. Don’t take it personally. It’s not about you. It’s their problem. Shake it off, run your race, and be great anyway.

Having greatness in the midst of criticism begins with forgiveness. Don’t hold a grudge. Bless those who curse you; pray for those who spitefully use you. As you keep doing what is right, God will honor you. He’ll promote you, and you’ll be great in the midst of criticism!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, I come to You today with an open and humble heart. I choose to forgive those who have criticized me. I choose to bless those who have hurt me. I choose to be great because You have equipped and empowered me to be great in the midst of criticism in Jesus’ name! Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Many who name the name of Christ as Savior, do not make HIM The LORD.  It is in humility coming under obedience to the LORD JESUS CHRIST that confirms and assures us of salvation.  It is in finding and lovingly keeping HIS Commandments that qualify our faith as being valid and real before our heavenly Father.  What was sent to me this morning was a reminder of some of the New Testament LAWS that are now in effect.  Jesus taught,  “If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love.” John 15:10

It would be wise to take some time and go through the New Testament focusing on our KING’S ORDERS for HIS CHURCH if you are a Christian?     Jesus taught that he who has and keeps HIS commandments proves his faith and love for both HIM and the Heavenly Father.  But you first must find and know them in order to obey them.  And you can only find them from Holy Scripture for yourself as many of our religious traditions have so rationalized the Truth of God that much of it has now been turned into fiction.  We are commanded to become HIS Disciples and not just members of a gathering somewhere.  Disciple means to become disciplined or changed.  “If any soul be in Christ Jesus they are a new creation.  The old things are passed away and all things are become new.”   Do you have changes in your life that reflect your salvation and submission to Christ Jesus as LORD?  One of the major changes is becoming concerned about your loved ones and others who are still lost.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,  Ken<><

PRAYER,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”
9/9/19,    (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather and deliver us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise…”  (1 Chronicles 16:35, ESV)
When the Intensity Gets Turned Up

Whenever life gets difficult and it seems like the intensity has been turned up, that means you are closer to your victory. When those lies are bombarding your mind, when you’re tempted to get discouraged or feel like throwing in the towel, that’s not the time to back down. That’s the time to dig your heels in and put on a new attitude because you are closer to your victory.

Maybe you’ve had a lot of things come against you. It seems like the more you pray the worse it gets. You’re doing the right thing, but the wrong thing is happening. The easy thing is to say, “Forget it. I don’t have to put up with this.” “This marriage is never going to work.” “I’ll never be able to raise this child.” Or, “I don’t like this job.” No, instead of getting discouraged, instead of going around sour and bitter, you need to say, “I’ve come too far to stop now. I’ve been through too much to back down. I realize the reason the intensity has been turned up is because I’m about to embrace the victory God has in store for me!” Keep standing, keep praying, keep hoping, and stay in faith when the intensity gets turned up!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, You’ve seen everything I’ve been through. You know what I’ve had to endure. I trust that You are working behind the scenes and leading me into victory. I keep my faith and trust in You and expect to see Your mighty hand in Jesus’ name! Amen.”

My Comments:
The old adage,  “it is darkest, just before the dawn” has reminded us of this fact for a long time now.  And personally,  I know it is true for a fact.  Some of the most powerful Spirit Filled Gatherings that I have every experienced were preceded by intense arguments with my then wife Ann in the car going to the meeting where we had a big blow up and I felt like going off to a cave somewhere and pouting.  But I knew,  as soon as I hit the door to the meeting, the darkness would be busted and the lights would go on and it would be over for both of us, and it was so.   Even as I set down to share with you this morning a serious very painful headache, out of no where hit me in the head.  I prayed, soundly rebuking it in the name of Jesus, and it quickly left.   Still a lot to learn about fighting the enemy but the Good Book gives us a lot to consider when considering what Jesus did.  One of the things that grabs my attention was in HIS great 40 days of fasting and being tempted by lucifer; He simply showed us that how even the words of Moses would back lucifer off.  That GOD watches over HIS true prophets to maintain the power of HIS words through them.   Paul mentioned this to Timothy:  Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),  2 Tim. 3:16″

In talking to a good brother last night he was lamenting the issues of folks praying long time but without seeing much results and being discouraged some times.  But the Word of God is very clear that we must be also walking in HIS righteousness and hearing HIS voice to have our prayers answered:  James puts it this way,

“Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. 18 And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].  James 5:16-18″

So effective prayer comes from the humility of obedience in the Holy Spirit in taking off our dirty shoes and standing in GOD’s truth in loving faith on GOD’S HOLY GROUND,  Heb.11.

WORD OF GOD

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,   Beloved of God,  John 3:16-18

WORD OF GOD,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”    9/6/19,   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“Is anything too hard for the Lord?…”  (Genesis 18:14, NIV)
He Doesn’t Need a Cloud

One beautiful, sunny day we were in the backyard enjoying the blue sky when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, it began to rain even though there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The sun was out and very bright, but for about three minutes, there was a downpour. We thought, “Where in the world is this rain coming from?”

It was like God was saying, “I can make it rain whenever I want to. I can use a little cloud, a big cloud or no cloud. I’m God. I’m the All-Powerful, Creator of the universe. When I say rain, I don’t need a cloud. When I say healing, I don’t have to use medicine. When I say promotion, I don’t need the approval of your boss. When I say abundance, I don’t need a bank. I’m not limited by the natural. I’m a supernatural God.”

Whatever you are facing today, no matter what things look like in the natural, know that God has the answer. Trust Him because He can make a way where there seems to be no way. He can make something out of nothing, and He doesn’t need a cloud to make it rain!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, I praise You today because You are worthy. I trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. I believe that You can make a way out of no way, and I look for Your rain of blessing in every area of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Comments:

OK,  we got that one settled,  GOD can do anything,  well,  yes,  EXCEPT where HE has limited HIMSELF.  HE can not break HIS own LAWS and PROMISES.   So let’s look and some of these restrictions.  Restrictions that caused the death of Christ Jesus.  1. Reciprocity,  the balance of things,  sowing and reaping.   A cosmic law of God.  There is an equilibrium to creation even in the smallest parts.  God has set this in motion and does not violate the balance of things.  It is our #1 teacher of what not to do.  If I violate this Law there are always serious consequences.  Adam was made king of the world, he committed high treason in pride and rebellion and gave the world to lucifer,  Jesus had to come and in humility and obedience buy us back by taking Adam’s reaping to make it possible for GOD to save us.  As Heaven is LIGHT and GLORY, Hell is exactly the opposite.

2.  Freewill,  Now that is a tricky one.   In order for GOD to teach us about LOVE,  HIS kind of LOVE,  HE had to give us freewill with all of the potential problems.  For LOVE can only exist within freewill.  So he set up a totally different dimension outside of HIS Eternity, called Time and created Adam in this dimension called time where freewill could be really free without messing up the rest of the universe.  From the Bible it appears that this unique and temporary experience of time will last for 7,000 of our earth years.   It is an opportunity for those who will to find God and in humility and obedience to learn to be like our Father God because they want to.  At the end of time will be the potential experience of living with God in HIS dimension of Eternity without time in righteousness.  So Time is a temporary dimension in which we can exercise our free will to decide to become like GOD our Creator or not.   Time is a place of testing and the exercise of learning on how to use our freewill to love one another and God and ourselves.  Jesus taught that there would very few who would exercise their freewill to find their way into a loving eternal life with their Creator.

3.   GOD was very pleased with Abraham, (Hebrews 11) and gave him a large number of promises as to the land and that his kids would number to become as the stars.  Lucifer has been trying to get ride of the Jews for nearly 2,000 years now so those promises would be broken and lucifer would have the moral high grounds to keep planet earth for himself.  We see this effort proceeding today very clearly and headed towards the Battle of Armageddon where Christ Jesus returns with the Church to destroy the final efforts of lucifer.  Christ will then usher in the 1000 year Kingdom where all of the promises to Abraham will be completely fulfilled.  It is obvious the ground work for this great battle is now in progress.  Even the Road from China for the 200 million man army from the East is nearly complete now.  So this is another promise of GOD that can not be broken.   And there are many more in the Holy Bible that GOD will fulfill and keep in detail.

Concerning the WORD OF GOD:
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away,  Jesus,  Matt.25:44
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.  Jesus,  Mark 4:20
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.  Mark 16:20
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.  Luke 4:4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  John 1:1
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Jn.5:24
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  John 6:63
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  John14:23
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.  John 15:7
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world… Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth...  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word. Jn. 17:14-20
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.  Acts.2:41   And thus began the work of the Holy Spirit in building the Church of Christ Jesus.  THERE IS BUT ONE CHURCH OF CHRIST JESUS AND ALL WHO TRULY LOVE AND OBEY HIM ARE MEMBERS.

NOTHING TO SAY,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”     9/5/19    (Across my desk today.)

Today’s Scripture
“…but Jesus refused to answer.”   (Luke 23:9, NLT)
You’re In Good Company

In the Scripture, people often came against Jesus and criticized Him. Many times it says, “Jesus answered them not a word.” He simply didn’t respond to His critics. He didn’t try to convince them to change their minds. He didn’t get upset because somebody was talking about Him. No, He just ignored it. When people come against you and they’re jealous, trying to make you look bad, trying to discourage you, remember, you’re in good company! Jesus was probably criticized more than anyone else. I love the fact that He didn’t try to explain Himself. He didn’t try to make everyone understand Him. He just stayed focused on what He was called to do. He simply ran His race.

Friend, Jesus set the example for you and me. We don’t have to try to win the approval of others. We have to understand that not everyone is going to understand us or be for us. Our focus should be on following God’s leading and let Him order our steps. The next time someone criticizes you, remember the example of Jesus. Overlook it, don’t get offended, and keep moving forward in the destiny God has for you!

Today, if you feel stuck, locked out or defeated, remember, Jesus is the One who holds the keys to your freedom. All you have to do is call on His name and He will answer. He promises to hear you and deliver you. Receive His salvation, receive hope, and receive the freedom and victory He came to give.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, today I release every person who has criticized me or tried to discourage me. I choose to forgive them; I choose to turn away from that distraction. I choose to focus on You and the blessings You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Comments
:
Often, silence is golden.  And often the question is a trap with no positive answer.  And the person is not really interested in any answer that you may have.  They are simple calling you out to find a weakness for their advantage.   This they tried to do with Jesus much of the time.   But I found it most interesting that sometimes Jesus simple redirected the conversation into another direction.  Even with the Disciples when they asked questions HE would reorganize HIS answer.  In Matt. 24 HIS disciples asked HIS concerning the future:  They ask HIM concerning the destruction of the Temple, when He would return and what about the end of the world?

But in His answer HE gave them a short introduction overview from Matt.24:5-14,  Then he commented on the destruction of the Temple from Matt.24:15-20. (This happened in 70 AD when Rome purged all the Jews from Israel and it became Palestine.)  Then HE took on the basic message of the Age of the Gentiles and the time of HIS Return from Matt.24:21-36.  But then he went further than their questioning and shared about the “Snatching Away” or the Rapture from Matt.24:27 through Matt.25:46 to complete the whole picture.   He used the Rabbinical Teaching structure of an introduction, the main topic of concern,  A greater overall view and what was most important.   So though Christ Jesus was Quiet at times,  at other times HE was most eloquent and intense.   This same teaching is also in Mark 13 and Luke 21.  Each a little different as you would find with most who were writing down what they remembered that they had heard.

So our New Testament is packed with examples of how Jesus would deal with opposition and also with those hungry for GOD’s eternal truths that set us free.   In John 8,  Christ Jesus actually told the Jews exactly as it was and nearly got killed then and there.  But the Holy Spirit will give you words when needed at the right time and the right place if you know the Word of God.  But you are responsible to do your homework concerning GOD’S basic truths.  We need to ask, seek and knock to find GOD’s Truth for our freedom.  He will not force it on us as we shall be judged by what we know as truth.

Looking forward to the LORD’s HOUSE Church here tomorrow evening,  Starting to get a united soul and to grow.   Folks are really loving each other and looking forward to Friday…  PTL   Yours, in HIS great love,  Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

LIMITATIONS ?

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,   Beloved of God,   John3:16-18

LIMITATIONS ?,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”    9/4/19,   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“He raised us up together with Him…that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor)…”
(Ephesians 2:6-7, AMPC)
Take the Limits Off

Sometimes we think so small. We limit our possibilities and potential. When God sees you, He sees all your potential. God knows what you’re capable of. His grace and favor in your life enable you to become what He sees. But first, you have to open your heart and take the limits off your life.

How do we limit God? We limit God in our thinking. Thoughts of doubt, unbelief and unforgiveness in your heart will close the door to His favor. In Mark 6, it says that Jesus could do no great works in a particular town because of the unbelief of the people. It works the same way today. On the other hand, when you choose thoughts of faith and expectancy, you are opening the door for God to work in your life. You are taking the limits off. You are giving Him the opportunity to multiply what you have in your hand. Choose to take the limits off by choosing His thoughts of victory. Choose thoughts of increase and blessing. As you do, you’ll rise higher and higher and live the abundant life He has prepared for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, I choose faith! I choose Your unlimited grace and favor. I choose to believe that You have good things in store for me. You use me for Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen”a

My Thoughts:
Two issues stand out to me when I feel limited.   One is,  am I in fear,  Heb.11?  (Fear is faith going backwards.)   And the second one is, Am I totally sure GOD is telling me to do this.   So Faith in God and Knowing HIS voice,  for me are primary….In Rom.8: Paul teaches on this and says,

“What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God? (when it is God,) Who acquits us?

So with God there are no limitations,  ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.  And the real key to walking this victory out is in getting deeply saturated with the WORD of GOD.   As faith comes by hearing,  and hearing (understanding) by the WORD of GOD.   In saturating ourselves with the WORD of GOD we get to know HIS voice above all the other distractions.   Then when HE speaks to us in our heart/soul/id we can hear HIM above all the other chatter.  We have many channels to choose from in our mind.  Most are the weighing out of a matter by experiences, pro and con.  Some voices are demonic squatters and can be inside or outside.  Even lucifer took a turn with me one time.  And of course then there is the Holy Spirit who is our friend and want to help us to become like Jesus.

Like I know for sure that the Holy Spirit would like to unify all the existing churches on the Big Island to be of one mind and spirit.   And fill the Big Island with small house churches for the LORD’s Kingdom.  So HE is looking for folks who will allow HIM to train them to be HIS voice and hands in making it happen.   If interested start by by praying about it.  Then take inventory of the gifts and talents that you have to present to the LORD for the Vision,  and see if it becomes your vision in the LORD through the Holy Spirit.   All of us have been created for very specific purposes in the creation of the Kingdom of God but we have a freewill and can defect like Adam.  Our true happiness depends upon us finding what we are created to do in GOD’S Creation, joining HIS KINGDOM and not looking back.

I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me,  Thou are my Son: this day have I begotten thee.  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance,  and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.  Psalms 2:7-8   (Hawaii is at the uttermost parts of the Earth from Jerusalem.)    Yours in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,  Ken<><  www.Trinity-Aloha.org

The Keys to Freedom

Have you ever been locked out of your car or house? It can be very frustrating, not to mention inconvenient. Not having your keys can keep you stuck and unproductive. It steals your time and can steal your peace and joy if you let it.

On a spiritual level, we need keys to access what God has for us—eternal life, peace, freedom and blessing. But we don’t have to stand on the outside of blessing, living in frustration. Jesus holds the keys, and He has opened the way for us to walk from death to life. We don’t have to live in defeat, mediocrity, sickness, sin or any kind of bondage any longer. He has given us the keys to abundant life!

“Father, today I come boldly to You. Thank You for giving me life through Your Son, Jesus. I surrender every area of my heart to You and ask that You make me whole and complete. Set me free and teach me to walk in Your ways in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Comments
For better than 50 years now HIS KEYS have been a quest for me.   To find and learn how to use all of the Keys To The Kingdom that Christ Jesus purchased for us.  What I have found so far have been gathered into a web site:  www.Trinity-Aloha.org and at the top of the homepage you will find a link called,  “Keys To The Kingdom”   Hope you enjoy.   And if you find anything that needs editing please let me know as I don’t profess to know it all or to have all of the parts together as yet and am still working on it.   But I know we will live forever and it is very important to in faith get ready to go.  Christ Jesus has opened the door, to live with GOD, for us but we still have to walk through it.  Our salvation from the darkness is a life time process,  hope you choose wisely. Read: Jude and James,  These guys grew up with Jesus…. and are like HIM.

PROSPERITY

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,   John 3:16-18,  Romans 10:9-10

PROSPERITY,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”
9/2/19,   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“…let them say continually, ‘Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.’”  (Psalm 35:27, NKJV)
He Delivers You From All

In Scripture, the Israelites had been in slavery for many years. That was the land of “Barely Enough.” They were just enduring, surviving, barely making it through. One day God brought them out of slavery and took them into the desert, the land of “Just Enough.” Their needs were supplied, but nothing extra. It says their clothes didn’t wear out for forty years. They were probably grateful, but who really wants to wear the same clothes for forty years?

God eventually took them into the Promised Land, the land of “More Than Enough.” The food and supplies were plenteous. The bundles of grapes were so large that two grown men had to carry them. It’s called “the land flowing with milk and honey.” “Flowing” means it didn’t stop. It never ran out. It continued to have abundance. That’s where God is taking you.

You may be in the land of “Barely Enough” right now. You don’t know how you’re going to make it. Don’t worry. God hasn’t forgotten about you. He’s leading you to a new land. Just keep following His leading and move forward into the abundance He has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for delighting to see me prosper. Thank You for the blessings You have given me and those You have in store for me. Help me to develop a vision for Your abundant life so that I can be a blessing everywhere I go in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Comments:
Right away,  Joel Osteen, comes to mind as so many Christians are so deeply jealous of his financial success.  By the way his success if from book royalties and he does not even take a salary from the church.    I guess if we lived in the times of David the King,  or Salomon it would be the same,  lot’s of jealousy.  After all,  David was not perfect,  in fact he was a REAL SINNER….  But the truth of the matter is that if we are truly “HIS SERVANT” it would not be difficult for the Creator to make any of us very prosperous.  The problem is that prosperity could also easily destroy us.  We could become so secure with the stuff that we trade in our faith security in and with our Creator.   A maturity level in handling prosperity or money seems rather scarce in today’s world.   How many people do you know today who do not pay any interest at all, -0- ?  Yet the Bible teaches that the borrower is servant to the lender, and what you sow, you will reap,  Prov. 22:7.  And are taught in the Bible to only be the servant’s of Christ Jesus.    How many folks do you know who are living within their means and have a surplus with which to help others.  So really think about it,  do I have the mastery over the stuff or does the stuff have the mastery over me.  If I am comfortable owing my soul to the country store then what good would prosperity do?  The habit pattern of having a debt load would just get bigger and more stressful as you could borrow more.   Learning to be free of debt and the need of stuff is one of the things that the Holy Spirit is here to help us with but very few take HIS Prosperity Course.   Proverbs has a lot to teach on this subject.  Paul puts it this way:

Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.  Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements].  The commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet (have an evil desire), and any other commandment, are summed up in the single command, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.  Rom. 13:7-9.
