DREAMS & VISIONS

DREAMS & VISIONS “WORTH CONSIDERING” 3/16/23

Acts 2:16-18, “16 but this is [the beginning of] what was spoken of through the prophet Joel:
‘And it shall be in the last days,’ says God, ‘That I will pour out My Spirit upon all mankind;
And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see [divinely prompted] visions, And your old men shall dream [divinely prompted] dreams; Even on My bond-servants, both men and women, I will in those days pour out My Spirit And they shall prophesy.

Joel 2:28,   “And you shall know [without any doubt] that I am in the midst of Israel [to protect and bless you],   And that I am the Lord your God,   And there is no other;  My people will never be put to shame.  “It shall come about after this That I shall pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. “Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

Eph. 3:19-21, ““And you shall know [without any doubt] that I am in the midst of Israel [to protect and bless you], And that I am the Lord your God, And there is no other; My people will never be put to shame.

Eph. 3:19, “ and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. 20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super-abundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.

VISIONS:
Numbers 12:5-7, “5 The Lord came down in a pillar of cloud and stood at the doorway of the tabernacle, and He called Aaron and Miriam, and they came forward. 6 And He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord will make Myself known to him in a vision And I will speak to him in a dream. 7 “But it is not so with My servant Moses; He is entrusted and faithful in all My house.”
Job 33:15, “In a dream, a vision of the night [one may hear God’s voice], When deep sleep falls on men While slumbering upon the bed,
Proverbs 29:18. “Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God].”
Jeremiah 23:16, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Do not listen to the words of the [false] prophets who prophesy to you. They are teaching you worthless things and are leading you into futility; They speak a vision of their own mind and imagination And not [truth] from the mouth of the Lord.” Colossians 2:17-19 “ Such things are only a shadow of what is to come and they have only symbolic value; but the substance [the reality of what is foreshadowed] belongs to Christ. 18 Let no one defraud you of your prize [your freedom in Christ and your salvation] by insisting on mock humility and the worship of angels, going into detail about visions [he claims] he has seen [to justify his authority], puffed up [in conceit] by his nonspiritual mind, 19 and not holding fast to the head [of the body, Jesus Christ], from whom the entire body, supplied and knit together by its joints and ligaments, grows with the growth [that can come only] from God.”

Proverbs 29:17-19, “Correct your son, and he will give you comfort; Yes, he will delight your soul. Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God].

EXAMPLE, How it sometimes works: Acts 9:5-23, “3 And as Saul/Paul journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink. And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake. And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus. And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests? But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ. And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

WAR & OBEDIENCE

WAR & OBEDIENCE “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/24/23

If we were all obedient to God, our Creator, there would be no wars. 197 in Bible, Heb. 13:17

Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.

Much of the world is dealing with the greatest disruption of their lives… probably in their lifetimes, particularly in the West, and what is known as the “First World”. Here’s a helpful perspective toward understanding what is taking place. Imagine for a moment that your life is a farm… a plot of land set aside to produce a crop. The Farmer knows what He needs to do to prepare an abundant harvest. Your soil is fallow, hardened, full of weeds. The seeds are dry and must absorb water to initiate respiration and begin to digest their stored food, and respiration requires sufficient oxygen in soil that is moist and broken up. Your field must be turned over and plowed. Plowing seems to do violence to soil in its fallow state. Yet nothing will grow or can even be planted in hard unplowed soil. The plow turns the soil upside down and inside out, looks like a disaster zone, as thousands of weeds and chunks of earth fly apart. Insects in the soil endure an apocalyptic experience, and some of them are killed by the metal blades and crashing mounds of earth. The farmer is simply doing his job, what he must do to prepare an abundant harvest. Now that the Farmer is preparing His field, and the mounds of earth and weeds are flying everywhere, step back if you can and observe what is taking place. The world is His field, not ours. and His crop is righteousness and steadfast love in a fruitful crop of human souls. Fallow ground full of weeds will not do for a good harvest. Take the Farmer’s perspective, endure the plow, and you will rejoice with him in the harvest to follow. <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com>

Ken’s Notes,
It appears, through most news media, that we are headed into a great depression like 1929 and/or WW III. Jesus made a comment in Matt. 24 concerning the questions of Matt.24:3, “While Jesus was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, and said, “Tell us, when will this [destruction of the temple] take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end (completion, consummation) of the age?” Jesus taught concerning the temple in Matt. 24:15-15-20 which has happened from 70 AD till 1948 AD. And then Jesus taught about the end of the age, Matt.24:3-14 as an overview, and Matt.24:21-36 and on the Rapture (Church removed from earth.) In Matt 24:37- Matt 25, Jesus taught about the Rapture as not a question. So as a Rabbi would teach Jesus touched on the overview, shared about Titus in 70 AD, and then gave a more complete picture of the happenings to Armageddon and the end of the age of the Gentiles.

Seems like we may be in about what Jesus was sharing in Matt.24:21-26, “For [a]at that time there will be a great tribulation (pressure, distress, oppression), such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will [again]. And if those days [of tribulation] had not been cut short, no human life would be saved; but for the sake of the elect (God’s chosen ones) those days will be shortened. Then if anyone says to you [during the great tribulation], ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and they will provide great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones). Listen carefully, I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there, or, ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms [of a house],’ do not believe it.”

Then Jesus told us about the Church being taken home. Matt. 24:37-42:, “For the coming of the Son of Man (the Messiah) will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. At that time two men will be in the field; one will be [a] taken and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left. 42 “So be alert [give strict attention, be cautious and active in faith], for you do not know which day [whether near or far] your Lord is coming. Matt. 25 also covers the need to be ready. as it would seem that we are very close to getting on the boat for the ride home.

Paul also writes about this in 1 Cor. 15:34-58, (51-53) “ Listen very carefully, I tell you a mystery [a secret truth decreed by God and previously hidden, but now revealed]; we will not all sleep [in death], but we will all be [completely] changed [wondrously transformed], in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at [the sound of] the last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [who believed in Christ] will be raised imperishable, and we will be [completely] changed [wondrously transformed]. 53 For this perishable [part of us] must put on the imperishable [nature], and this mortal [part of us that is capable of dying] must put on immortality [which is freedom from death]. And also in 1 Thess.5 1-23 (3-4), “While they are saying, “Peace and safety [all is well and secure!]” then [in a moment unforeseen] destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains on a woman with child, and they will absolutely not escape [for there will be no way to escape the judgment of the Lord]. 4 But you, [a] believers, [all you who believe in Christ as Savior and acknowledge Him as God’s Son] are not in spiritual darkness [nor held by its power], that the day [of judgment] would overtake you [by surprise] like a thief;” and also in 2 Thess.2:1-12, (2-7), “not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the [a] apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above [b] every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains him now [from being revealed]; it is so that he will be revealed at his own [appointed] time. For the mystery of lawlessness [rebellion against divine authority and the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way.”

Rapture is getting close

Aloha Elect of God in obedience,
Seems we are getting very, very close to the birth pains, Matt. 24:8, sorrows = birthpains of the Body of Christ into the Kingdom of God. We are now deeply into the birth pains, it would seem. So felt to send this along as it was so confirming as to where we are at this time. Christian Berg, sent me this as a very good brother, (but like Paul, Christian needs our prayers for the healing of his eyes.) We are so very close to not being able to buy or sell without a number as noted in, Rev. 6:5-6. 13: 16-18 & 14:9-11. Be sure and look up these scriptures as it is a loving warning from our Heavenly Father. The New World Order is strongly situated now to take atheistic socialist control of our little world. Matt. 28, Mark 13, Luke 21 would be good to read and study as the Prophesy that Jesus gave us to consider about this time.

EMPTY SEAT NUMBER 666

The Vacant Seat Number 666 in the European Parliament

The Tower Building (named after the Tower of Babel) houses the Fifth Parliament of Europe. It is certainly a building of the Space Age. The seats are designed like the crew seats in the Star Trek . The legislative amphitheater is arranged in a massive hemicircle and has 679 seats, each assigned to a particular lawmaker. For example, Seat 663 is assigned to Rep Souchet, 664 to Thomas-Mauro, 665 to Zizzner and 667 to Rep Cappato.

Though the seats are assigned to Members, one seat remains empty and unoccupied. The number of that seat is 666. The seating-plan provided to each Member reads as follows:

    660 Marchiani

    661 Montfort

    662 Quiero

    663 Souchet

    664 Thomas-Mauro

    665 Zizzner

    666 ——-

    667 Cappato

    668 Turco

    669 Bonino

    670 Pannella

    671 Dupuis

    672 Della Vedova

Revelation 13:18 states: “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” That is 666.

Today this Scripture is being fulfilled before our very eyes. The Antichrist’s seat will be occupied. The world leaders await his return with open arms.

Little do they know that The Lord will destroy him by the spirit of His mouth (the Word of God) and by the brightness of His coming (2nd Thessalonians 2:8). The coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Knowing that we can see the Unset of the Tribulation so clearly, THINK HOW CLOSE THE RAPTURE MUST BE!!!

Here’s something really weird. The E.U.’s chosen symbol is a Woman Riding the Beast…They actually have a huge statue of her on the beast outside of the EU Tower Building.

“…and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.” —Revelation 17:3

Want more Proof that the Tribulation is near:

The Satanic Temple is proudly unveiling what it has described as the “world’s first religious abortion clinic” where it will offer “abortion rituals.”

The facility, is set to open in New Mexico on February 14, and it will offer telehealth visits “for those who wish to participate in TST’s Satanic Abortion Ritual in states where abortion has been banned.” It will also prescribe abortion pills for $90, which the Satanic Temple said will be “discreetly mailed to them by TST Health’s pharmacy partner.

This is the “first step” in the TST Health venture, touting plans to open more abortion clinics in other states.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, this is not the time to lose hope but to be energized by the Power of The Holy Spirit. The Rapture is so soon… Jesus is on His way, we must be working for His Glory with all the Spiritual Strength we have. Stay in the harness pulling your load, honoring Christ in all that you do.

Remember Jesus is madly in love with you and there is nothing you can do about it! Tell this to the World They Need To Hear It

REPENT / CHANGE

REPENT / CHANGE WORTH CONSIDERING 2/19/23

Pride makes is difficult for us to change or repent even when we know we are wrong and need to repent. We always feel right in our own eyes regardless of the damage we find around us. “You shall not do according to all we do here [in the camp] this day, every man doing whatever looks right in his own eyes,” Deut. 12:8. “Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil, ” Prov. 3:7. “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who listens to counsel is wise, Prov.12:15. “All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart).,” Prov.16:2. “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs and tries the hearts, Prov. 21:2. “Do you see a man wise in his own eyes and conceit? There is more hope for a [self-confident] fool than for him,” Prov. 26:12. “There is a class of people who are pure in their own eyes, and yet are not washed from their own filth,” Prov. 30:12. And much more, in your Bible but I think you get the point. Apostle John says it this way, “ Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself]. And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever,” 1 John 2:15-17. So apostle John points out the the following are diversions from God’s Truth that sets us free. So these things actually place us in bondage.

1. Lust of the flesh (physical cravings for sensual gratification) Our body giving our soul commandments and direction.
2. Lust of the eyes (greedy longings of the mind) The lies that stuff can make us happy.
3. Pride of life (assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthy things.)

John tells us that these are temporary cravings of a temporary body & mind in a temporary world that is passing away. But only those who find and carry out the eternal purposes of our Creator God will abide for eternity. (Be given an eternal body) Life is rather short when compared to eternity so in which world are you investing your time? The world is getting darker and darker by the hour. But God’ Truth and Love and Purpose is for eternity.

So assuming some of you would like to change or learn how to help others to change I will make some suggestions.

On my web site: www.OhanaChurch.Life at the bottom of the page are some links, take some time and check them out.
Especially “Worth Considering” and “Keys To The Kingdom” If you really want a good book on God’s Truth I can give you a copy on line of a book by Derek Prince, “Foundations for Christian Living” which is an excellent study of 52 doctrines of the Christian Faith to help you grow up in Christ Jesus rather quickly. Also under ACTS (Aloha Christian Theological Studies you will find a list of exceptional books that would help you grow up in HIM in all things, Eph.4:11-16. If you have not read the Bible start with the Gospel of John and continue through Acts and Romans for a good foundation of the whole Bible. Also find a fellowship/church that has a balance of Love, Holiness & Power. 2 Tim.3:1-5 to attend.

HOLY SPIRIT POWER

HOLY SPIRIT POWER “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/15/23

By the way Originally, Jesus’ real name, Yeshua, evolved over millennia in many cases of transliteration that took it from Yehōshu’a to Iēsous to Jesus. As the Holy Spirit knows what we mean, it is not an issue. it is not a matter of what we say but what we mean in what we say. So in this study, we need to know what we mean when we say Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit in scripture.

G4151 – pneuma – Strong’s Greek Lexicon (kjv) https://www.blueletterbible.org › lexicon › kjv
the third person of the triune God, the Holy Spirit, coequal, coeternal with the Father and the Word of God who become the Son. Like Water can be solid, liquid or vapor. So the Holy Spirit is also Creator God. as also the Word of God now in Christ Jesus and also the Father Almighty.

What is the meaning of Holy Spirit in the original Greek? Agio Pnevma
Paraclete (Ancient Greek: παράκλητος, Latin: paracletus) means ‘advocate’ or ‘helper’. In Christianity, the term paraclete most commonly refers to the Holy Spirit.
Also: Parakletos in Greek which means COMFORTER
Also: Dynamis in Greek which means Power or Ability, like use in English for Dynamite.
Also: Pneo in Greek which means to Blow and Pneuma or Breath of God.
In Gen.1:2, the word “moved” really means “Brooded” like a hen with eggs. So it would seem that the Holy Spirit carries the feminine charistics of God? Like in man as father, mother and son, Gen.1:26.

What is the nature and character of the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit produces behavior traits that are representative of Jesus. The apostle Paul referred to these characteristics as the fruit of the Spirit. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23,

It is also interesting that the Word of God in creation breathed on Adam to become a living soul in Gen. 2:7 And in John 20:22, Jesus restored the Breath of Eternal Life that had been lost to humanity through Adam’s disobedience. It is also interesting for me that Aloha in Hawaiian really means I give you my breath or life for your needs. The Hawaiian as a people are very perceptive.

When does a person receive the Holy Spirit?
Am privileged to give an answer to this question. According to the plan (Will) of God, a person instantly receives the Holy Spirit when he/she genuinely accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior according to Romans 10:9-10. That is, the person must first be convicted/believe in his/her heart and subsequently confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord. At this point, the person is now born of the Spirit (Holy Spirit). Kindly note that in order to experience the Spirit guidance, the person must begin to walk in Love, study the Bible and talk to GOD.

How do I walk in the Holy Spirit?
First, repent of your sins, your pride and independence from God. Ask God to forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9.) Invite the Holy Spirit into your heart, to indwell you. ( Luke 11:9-13.) Pray often and obey your conscience by asking God for direction. Read the Bible. You don’t have to understand all of it. As you walk on, God will reveal the meanings to you. Forgive others their offenses against you. Ask God to break all curses over you. Be sensitive and seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance. God will not force Himself upon you. HE never manipulates.

Is the Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit?
Older English translations of the Bible, hymns, and catechisms will often refer to the Holy Ghost rather than Holy Spirit. In the Latin texts, Spiritus, Pneuma in Greek. Spirit is a good translation; while in more ancient times, Ghost was a perfectly acceptable synonym for Spirit. But by the late 20th and early 21st centuries, the term Ghost became increasingly associated with spirits of deceased people in a usually frightening context.

As for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit: 1 Cor.12: Wisdom, Knowledge, Miracles, Prophecy, Discernment of Spirits, Unknown Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues. And ministries are also assigned by the Holy Spirit as in Eph.4:11-16: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors & Teachers

The Holy Spirit was sent by Christ Jesus to build HIS Church on Pentecost, Acts 2 and when completed will be taken to be with Christ Jesus in Heaven. I call it the jump to Light Speed and seems we are getting close now. The Holy Spirit was a Supernatural event in the lives of the Disciples of Christ Jesus. Jesus came to save us, to seal us and to empower us to help HIM fulfill the prophesy of Isa. 61. HIS desire is for HIS disciples to become an extension of HIS loving ministry to the lost. The 11 disciples became Christians upon Jesus returning to earth after HIS death, .John 20:22-23. But they were not empowered until Pentecost. Paul was saved on the road but was empowered 3 days later, Acts 9:17, Philip brought salvation to Samaria in Acts 8:5 but they were empowered only after Peter and John came much later, Acts 8:15-25. In Acts 19: we see that Paul is still concerned that Christians also receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit for power in their lives, Acts. 19:2, “ And he asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed [on Jesus as the Christ]?” And they said, No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit. 3 And he asked, Into what [baptism] then were you baptized? They said, Into John’s baptism.”

Over 13 years from 1955 I attended a main line Evangelical Church without knowing any thing about the empowering of the Holy Spirit. In God’s Kingdom faith comes first then the results, Heb.11. To have God’s salvation we must first take the step of faith in making Jesus our LORD (master, boss) Rom. 10:9-10, Then to be empowered by the Holy Spirit we must be walking in obedience and have faith for that supernatural experience as well. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Christ Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to teach, comfort, correct, remind, speak through us, help us pray, learn to love, and give us the fruit, gifts and ministries of God for ourselves and others in the building of HIS Church and Kingdom of Eternity.

When a boy of about 10 in Kentucky I was sent to a summer camp at Booneburough Kentucky to have an out door experience of camping and learn about Daniel Boone who was the frontersman who led a group of settlers through the Cumberland Gap and established Fort Boonesborough Although the old fort had been restored where we stayed I don’t remember much about that. But they took a bunch of us boys out to the cave where Daniel had shot the Bear or Baar in Kentucky talk. And of course with the tall tails he become our hero and we took on his identity for a while. It was a difficult thing to do, to kill a bear with the one shot from a Kentucky mussel loader. And if you did not get the baar dead, you would probable be dead trying. In telling the story they turned off the Lights in the cave and one of the Camp Leaders pretended to be a bear. Still a vivid memory. One year for Halloween my mother made me a devil costume complete with tail, bad idea, cried most of the night at the party trying to get my tail back from the other kids, bad identity. Next year my mother made me an Uncle Sam suit, complete with hat, that was a good identity and I ended up leading and marching in the parade on July 4th through the State Capital of Frankfort, KY from the new Capital building to the old. What a day that was… Seems we all pick up some kind of identity in life. I was an Oregon red neck logger for a while, An assessor for Lane County Or. for a while. A successful general contractor for a while. Kahu Ken, for a while. All with my Celtic, Nordic, German roots back to the War of Independence. I have one kid who has a very strong identity as a Marine. Another as a Nurse and another as a Gospel Entertainer. But our Creator God has another Identity in mind for us all. Jesus got top drawer, our Heavenly Father would like us to be like Him.

Apostle John taught this. “So when Jesus had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered what He had said. And they believed and trusted in and relied on the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover feast, many believed in His name [identifying themselves with Him] after seeing His signs (attesting miracles) which He was doing. But Jesus, for His part, did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew all people [and understood the [a] superficiality and fickleness of human nature], John 2:22-24

Apostle Paul taught; “And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight, 10 so that you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin]; 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized]. Phil. 1:9-11

As most so called big churches today preach what will keep the membership of a congregation going in support of the buildings, property and minister, much of what is preached has been edited so as to not hurt anyone’s feelings. I know of one big financially successful ministry that only teaches and supports a positive Gospel message. The little church across the street from me even teaches an all inclusive, “Progressive Gospel.” The Truth of God comes to us in Love, Holiness and Power as a balance that draws us up into the identity of Christ Jesus as LORD. If there is no love, it is a false gospel as God is LOVE. If there is no Holiness, then God is not there either. And if there is no power, Apostle Paul teaches us to go someplace else, 2 Tim.3:5 as it is only a form of godliness. Jesus came to us in all of the above, Love, Holiness & Power to draw us up unto HIM.

In Romans 13:11-12, Apostle Paul, reminds us, “Do this, knowing that this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep [of spiritual complacency]; for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed [in Christ]. 12 The night [this present evil age] is almost gone and the day [of Christ’s return] is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. 13 Let us conduct ourselves properly and honorably as in the [light of] day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility, not in quarreling and jealousy.” (It is certainly much closer now than then.)

And in Col.3:1, “Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. 3 For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.”

Apostle John puts it this way: “We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. 17 In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].” John 4:16-18.

So it is up to us to decide to change our identity or citizenship in this world into an identity of being in Christ Jesus as LORD (Master, Boss.) As we come into humility to serve rather than to be served and to find deep submission and obedience to God’s Commandments. And as we do this then God’s Power will help us find our way to HIM. But our Creator God is not going to allow the pride, rebellion and destruction that is now in this world loose into the next. HIS eternal Kingdom of LIGHT and RIGHTEOUSNESS that Christ is now building for us will be a place of PEACE.

STRANGERS

STRANGERS, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/6/23

When a little boy growing up until about 5 or 6, I mostly lived on my Grandfather’s100 acre farm. in Kentucky. This was during the Great Depression of 1929 when people were having a very difficult time. Seems we may be heading again into this kind of a national bump in the road or WW III or both. But on the farm we all worked hard, even at my age I would get the water from the well with a bucket and shuck the corn and grind it for the chickens, collect eggs and do what I could. And because we helped each other we never missed a meal and there was always plenty of food for strangers. It was not so much talked about, it was more of a learning by observing but there was a southern attitude of kindness and helping folks that went with the turf of being from the South. Of course some call it the Bible Belt and it seems for all of the starch and hard work hearts was still tender towards the stranger. We never locked a door. Of course things are much different now but I wonder if we might be missing out on something in not having time to entertain angels (God’s Messengers) without knowing about it? So I took the time to deal with the fear that we sometimes have concerning strangers. How is the Gospel of Christ Jesus going to find root in our crazy world if no one can see the Love of God in action? This generation is totally turned off to playing church where there is no power of the Holy Spirit. It was not the church that got me saved in 1955 but a young man who was believing the Bible and allowing it to totally change his life. I got to see the words of Jesus alive and in action, I had never seen that before, it got my attention.. I followed Floyd around and was born from above.

Let love of your fellow believers continue. 2 Do not neglect to extend hospitality to strangers [especially among the family of believers—being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for by this some have entertained angels (Messengers) without knowing it. 3 Remember those who are in prison, as if you were their fellow prisoner, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in a body [and subject to physical suffering. Heb. 13:1-3, But the stranger who resides with you shall be to you like someone native-born among you; and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord your God. Lev. 19:34. Therefore, show your love for the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. Deut. 10:19, The Lord protects the strangers; He supports the fatherless and the widow; But He makes crooked the way of the wicked. Psalm 146:9 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. Psalm 68:6, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18, “ For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. 26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.” Job 3:24-26. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7. Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Hebrews 13:17. Need to find an Eph. 4:11-16 Elder and become submitted. In the Kingdom of God all are to learn to serve and be submitted to someone, Humility and Obedience training is very difficult to find today. And if we do, there is no long line at the door. “The [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the instruction for wisdom [its starting point and its essence]; And before honor comes humility.” Prov. 15:33. So find an Elder who loves Jesus and knows more than you do, and learn to repent and to submit.

Eph. 4:11-16, “And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], 12 [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; 13 until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. 14 So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit]. 15 But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ. 16 From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up [a] in [unselfish] love.

If we really want to experience in full what Christ Jesus came to give us we will need to humble ourselves and follow HIS directions and commandments to the letter. It all starts with us leaning to love one another as God loves us. In that great love we want to please HIM and follow HIS directions and example in Christ Jesus. And out of that loving obedience will come the power of the Holy Spirit to confirm HIS TRUTH. We are experiencing a powerless church today due to following vain (vanity, prideful) religious traditions rather than the Word of God. God’s Church is a messy forum, but we have made it into a powerless polished theater and many have quit going at all. The Church of Christ Jesus is dangerous as you never know what the Holy Spirit is going to do. But Man’s Church is totally safe and even has a script to follow. And mostly you know exactly what is going to happen. God’s Church is a balance of Love, Holiness and Power, Just like Jesus. Man’s church tends to be indulgent or sanctimonious or a carnival. A Jesus Church is like: Psalm 126:6 “He who goes back and forth weeping, carrying his bag of seed [for planting], Will indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves (increase) with him..”

So here is what we example for: 1 Cor. 26-33, “What then is the right course, believers? When you meet together, each one has a psalm, a teaching, a revelation (disclosure of special knowledge), a tongue, or an interpretation. Let everything be constructive and edifying and done for the good of all the church. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be limited to two or at the most three, and each one speaking in turn, and one must interpret [what is said]. 28 But if there is no one to interpret, the one [who wishes to speak in a tongue] must keep silent in church; let him speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak [as inspired by the Holy Spirit], while the rest pay attention and judge carefully what is said. 30 But if an inspired revelation is made to another who is seated, then the first one must be silent. 31 For [in this way] you can all prophesy one by one, so that everyone may be instructed and everyone may be encouraged; 32 for the spirits of prophets are subject to the prophets [the prophecy is under the speaker’s control, and he can stop speaking]; 33 for God [who is the source of their prophesying] is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order. As [is the practice] in all the churches of the saints (God’s people),” St. Paul

COMMANDMENTS

Commandments “Worth Considering” 2/3/23

In the Bible the word Commandments is used directly 168 time and indirectly much more.

Jesus taught: “1If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it. “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another [a] Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him].” If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.

So of the about one thousand commandments that Jesus gave us to do, how are you doing? Of course this also includes what the Holy Spirit gave to the apostles to share with us as well.

One of the ones that got hold of me early in my early Christian walk was: “And these things give in charge, (as a commandment) that they may be blameless. But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. 1 Tim. 5:7-9, I ended up with 8 kids, this one got me going early in the morning and up late at night to make sure that I covered all of the bases for my big family. We never missed a meal, kept warm all winter and never an unpaid bill as it was a good partnership in the LORD and HE did keep His end. “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19. So if your not covering your bases, something is wrong in the Commandment area.

Making Jesus LORD, Master/Boss is the process of Sanctification (to make holy) many of us thought that when we made Jesus our Savior, we had it made. But actually that was only the beginning of the walk on the straight and narrow road to being changed to be like Jesus. “ Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17. Even at 90 now, most every day, I take inventory to see if I got off the straight and narrow way and need to repent and ask forgiveness for thoughts and deeds that were not like Jesus. Of course I am walking close to eternity now, that makes it a bit easier..

Jesus warned us: “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:” Matt.7:20-24

So being a Christian is more than even keeping the Commandments of Christ Jesus but also entering into a real spiritual relationship with HIM like the Holy Spirit was taking to me this morning and I was trying to remember it all, but had to say, to HIM, you got to help me later when I need to write this down as I can not remember it all. My little container is overflowing.

In Considering Commandments we are also considering Truth and Obedience. We have a built in resistance to change. Our ego/pride factor that we got from Adam is still in good working order. So the concept of repenting and change goes against our very nature. And even if it is good for us. “or they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; Heb. 12:10-12. By this we know [without any doubt] that we love the children of God: [expressing that love] when we love God and obey His commandments. 3 For the [true] love of God is this: that we habitually keep His commandments and remain focused on His precepts. And His commandments and His precepts are not difficult [to obey]. 4 For [a] everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. 1John 5:3 “ And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.” 1 Jn. 1:6

In Matt. 6 Christ Jesus our LORD gives us a lot of HIS commandments including a sample of how to pray. “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Be a good idea to brush up on the Holy Commandments that we are to follow if we really have made Christ Jesus or LORD. It is a real relationship through the Holy Spirit, it is not just a piece of paper on the wall that looks official. Our Creator God of making a family to which you have been invited in love. But He also wants a house of loving unity and righteousness. He will not allow those who have abused this world to bring their trash into HIS world. All trash and those who love to make trash will all end up at the dump for eternity. Yours, In HIS great LOVE. Ken<>< www.OhanaChurch.Life

I get these QUORA questions in my email just about every day now, this was a good one.
QUORA 1/28/23 What are two principles in ecologism that reject each other? ANSWER:
Atheism/Evolution / God/Creation…. As a Bible Christian I believe that the world was created to do exactly what is is doing and that the resources will last as long as needed to complete the vision for the purpose of the creation. So I have no concern about ecologism. From a Biblical perspective we were created in a temporary time dimension with a temporary body for the purpose of giving our eternal souls an opportunity to learn to use our freewill in a positive and loving manor. We need to learn to live with our Creator as a family and to become like HIM. And in 7,000 yrs that temporary dimension will close. From Adam we are about 6,000 years into the process like a 7 day week of 1,000 years. In the process our Creator will have given us every opportunity to seek, knock and ask for HIS help in finding HIS needed grace to make the jump to His light speed. Most are not interested as Jesus taught that only a few would find the WAY… Only the those who seek and find the way will be given a new eternal body for their eternal souls. The Creator will have no use for those who in pride and rebellion have turned this temporary time world in to dump heap. And there is no second chance on the other side of death. That is what the prophets of GOD say to me in the Holy Scriptures. Ken<><

CHURCH, Homeward Bound

CHURCH, Homeward Bound “WORTH CONSIDERING 2/1/23

On the web and in the news much is happening in the world as it heats up in selfish contentions to fight over power and stuff. The Bible has a lot to tell us about today. St. Paul writes about it from his day in 2 Tim.3:1-5. And our Creator God tells us that what ever He is up to He is going to tell us about it prior to doing it. Amos 3:7, “ Surely the Lord God does nothing [a] Without revealing His secret plan [of the judgment to come] To His servants the prophets.

So the question really concerns the CHURCH which began to be constructed by the Holy Spirit on Pentecost in Acts 2 and the Church began to be built in Love, Holiness & Power and looked like Jesus. It began with a 120 disciples who were like Jesus and thousands game to Christ Jesus as LORD as the Love, Holiness and Power was so obvious. So this began the building of one of the families of God. The is an O.T. family that was like Enoch and another family in Noah, and another in Abraham, and another in Christ Jesus as HIS Bride/Wife and another from the Great Tribulation and the last to Bless Abraham in all of God’s Promises to be fulfilled as promised. And there may be more that I don’t know about as the Prophets of the Bible focus on what we need to know to find our way into the Kingdom of God. John the Baptist noted this in John 3:29, “He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands by and listens to him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this pleasure and joy of mine is now complete. Note here the John considers himself to by the friend of the bridegroom and not the bride. In Gen 12:3, “And I will bless (do good for, benefit) those who bless you, And I will curse [that is, subject to My wrath and judgment] the one who curses (despises, dishonors, has contempt for) you (Israel). And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. (Jesus)” Israel as also noted in Rev. 12 as the woman with 12 stars, tribes. Also as noted by Moses in Gen.28:14. So my understanding is that the unique Church was conceived at Pentecost and is born at the 1st resurrection ( 1 Cor. 15;20-57) and prior to the beginning of the Great 7 year Tribulation. And notice that this happens in the “twinkling” of an eye, or very quickly.

So there is no question as to as to the Church being resurrected very quickly but what about the time line. Jesus warns us to be ready as we only get to go if we are ready and have our light on and shining bright, Matt.25. But He told us that certain things would be in place and we would know when we are getting close. So what are the signs of his return for HIS Church?

Apostle Paul tells us that the judgement starts as a time when the world is saying peace and safety. So the snatching away of the Church as in the days of Noah, Matt.24:37-44 will be at a time of false peace and safety, 1 Thess. 5:3. No time during the Great Tribulation of 7 yrs. will the world be peaceful. In Rev. 4 & 5 apostle John is caught up into to heaven, like above, and views the beauty and glory of Christ Jesus, this is after the church age ending in 3 and it seems that Chapter 6 starts the Great Tribulation from a position of false peace, (White Horse.) And this begins the 7 years of the Wrath of God. But Matt 19:25, Mark 10:26, Rom. 5:9, & 1 Thess. 2:16 tell us that Jesus saves us from that Wrath. So seems to me that the Church must be snatched away into heaven prior to the Great Tribulation. And other scriptures to support that position as well.

In 2 Thess.2:5-9 St Paul writes: “5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 6 And you know what restrains him (antichrist) now [from being revealed]; it is so that he will be revealed at his own [appointed] time. For the mystery of lawlessness [rebellion against divine authority and the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he (Must be the Holy Spirit) who now restrains it is taken out of the way. Then the lawless one [the Antichrist] will be revealed and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to an end by the appearance of His coming. The coming of the [Antichrist, the lawless] one is through the activity of Satan, [attended] with great power [all kinds of counterfeit miracles] and [deceptive] signs and false wonders [all of them lies]. So when the Holy Spirit is to be removed from earth then we as Christians go with HIM. Eph. 4:30-31. So the Holy Spirit came to conceive the church on Pentecost and when born it goes home in the first Resurrection, Rev. 20:6.. “Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) and holy is the person who takes part in the first resurrection; over these the second death [which is eternal separation from God, the lake of fire] has no power or authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and they will reign with Him a thousand years.” But those who miss this first Resurrection will fine themselves in 2 Thess.2:9, “ The coming of the [Antichrist, the lawless] one is through the activity of Satan, [attended] with great power [all kinds of counterfeit miracles] and [deceptive] signs and false wonders [all of them lies], 10 and by unlimited seduction to evil and with all the deception of wickedness for those who are perishing, because they did not welcome the love of the truth [of the gospel] so as to be saved [they were spiritually blind, and rejected the truth that would have saved them]. 11 Because of this God will send upon them a misleading influence, [an activity of error and deception] so they will believe the lie, 12 in order that all may be judged and condemned who did not believe the truth [about their sin, and the need for salvation through Christ], but instead took pleasure in unrighteousness.” So here we are to understand that those who know and have rejected the Truth of God, will not get a second chance to change their position.

Also Rev. 12 heads in that same direction, if I understand it correctly: 12:1 Like Joseph’s dream, the woman is Israel, the child is Jesus, Verse 5, Jesus is caught up with the rod of iron (which is the Church). And in verse 6 after 3 ½ yrs, then in 12:11, the Church, Rod of Iron, boots lucifer/satan and his minions out of the heaves to earth. And in verse 14 we have the last half of the Great Tribulation of 3 ½ years and Armageddon Rev. 12:17, Rev.20:6 with the return of Jesus with the Church to create, on earth, the Kingdom of Christ Jesus as Lord for a thousand years.

At this point in time, it seems to me that the prophesies for the birth pains for the Church to jump to light speed are really on the head lines of our local news today. I counted 15 prophesies that Jesus told us to watch for and they all seems to be happening at this time. In fact in Matt. 24:22, Jesus tells us: And if those days had not been cut short, no human life would be saved; but for the sake of the elect (God’s chosen ones) those days will be shortened. So you just might not wake up in your bed tomorrow????? Just like today with all of the world destruction Nuke talk. Seem we have made about 15,000 very powerful nuke’s that we are sitting on, world wide. Enough to kill all humanity many times over. “So no human life left”, is a reality today like never before.
