ALOHA SAINTS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

Today’s Scripture    (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
He removed the foreign altars and the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles… No one was at war with him during those years, for the LORD gave him rest.
(2 Chronicles 14:3, 6, NIV)
Rest from Your Enemies
King Asa of Judah inherited a kingdom that was filled with idolatry. His father had passed down compromise, mediocrity, and dysfunction. But Asa understood that just because something negative is passed down doesn’t mean you have to continue it and let it limit your life. He smashed the pagan shrines and altars, and because of it, the Lord gave him rest from his enemies.

If you want rest from that bad attitude, that addiction, or that low self-esteem that most likely was passed down to you, you have get rid of it. Be an Asa and say, “I’m not going to let this anger rule my life. I’m going to pull that stronghold down and smash it. I’m not going to put up with this anxiety and insecurity. I’m removing these limitations. I’m living in peace. I’m going to enjoy my life.” When you make a decision that enough is enough, God will begin to give rest from your enemies.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that I don’t have to be defined by the past, by what was passed down to me or the mistakes I’ve made. Thank You that I can take a stand and remove anything that is holding me back. I will be the difference maker and break the chains. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
Thank God!!!  That our Creator gives each one of us the same opportunity for Truth & Freedom in Christ Jesus.  That He is honor bound to send the truth to every soul who asks, seeks and knocks to find it.  That everywhere on planet earth the signs of HIS hand in creation is visible.  Apostle Paul shares with us this very same thought.  Rom. 1:19-23

19 because that which is known about God is evident within them [in their inner consciousness], for God made it evident to them. 20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. 21 For even though [a] they knew God [as the Creator], they did not [b] honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation]. On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasoning, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God for [c] an image [worthless idols] in the shape of mortal man and birds and four-footed animals and reptiles.

We all seem to know, down deep, that this world and a life time in this world is not all that there is.  Every religion in the world, true or false, has an awareness of that this is not the end of it.  Even the position of an atheist is not tenable as you must know all there is to know to be able to be absolutely sure that God does not exist.  Of course from the Christian perspective using the Holy Bible it is slam dunk that we are an eternal living soul and it is only a matter of our decision as to our placement for eternity.   That Earth life is simple a beginning for eternity and the world that we live in is like a time of testing or decision.   A Gymnasium if you will that will either make us spiritually strong in the family of God or usurer us out into eternal darkness where it is total void.   God is not going to allow what we have done to earth to exist in HIS eternity.  His essence is LOVE and out of that love comes our creation with a free will.  We make the decision for where we want to spend eternity.  It will be out of our own words and actions that judgment will come home to us.   A Christian point of view,  we are now living in a 7,000 year unique capsule of time that will be over in about another 1,000 years of time for of testing of souls.  And then the Creator will make a new heaven and earth where only righteousness prevails.  And we have all been invited.  But we have much to learn here as to how to live in that kind of righteousness in the presence of the Creator.  So the test is what do we do with Jesus.  Do we center in HIM,   or do we center in ourselves.   Who is boss, God or me.  Do I do what HE wants or do I do what I want.   And how to I know the difference?  In the 1st 2,000 years God dealt with the world in power, then for 2,000 in Law, now 2,000 in Grace and the last 1,000 in Peace.   And it has all been written down for us to study and for all of that there will be only a few who make it.   Will you be one of the few?

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<><

Worthy Brief <;     We are now at a “Nivevah” moment in history … a great divide focused on the issue of freedom. Will true and lasting repentance preserve our freedom in the West to preach the Gospel unhindered in the years ahead? Or will darkness and tyranny overtake us forcing the battle for revival to continue in a context of governmental opposition or even captivity?     Military suicides have increased by as much as 20% this year compared to the same period in 2019, and some incidents of violent behavior have spiked as service members struggle under COVID-19, war-zone deployments, national disasters, and civil unrest.    The pastor of a house church in China’s southern Fujian province was summoned to appear in court earlier this month because he and his wife have chosen to home-school their children, International Christian Concern (ICC) reports. According to ICC, the Chinese government is not only continuing its crack-down on churches but is now also impeding parents from home-schooling their children.      Writing to the mayor of San Francisco about his COVID-19 policies, the Department of Justice (DoJ) said on September 25 that it is “draconian” to allow only one congregant at a time in house of worship, while “allowing multiple patrons in other indoor settings including gyms, tattoo parlors, hair salons, massage studios, and daycares,” the Christian Post reports.

“WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/28/20   From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture         (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!   (Psalm 103:5, NLT)
Be Filled with Good Things
The reason some people aren’t young and strong in their spirit and vibrant and passionate about life is that there’s no room for God to fill them with good things. All the space is taken up with negatives. Worry will make you weak. Living stressed out will make you old and take your passion. Being bitter, angry, and resentful will shorten your life.  Is God trying to fill you with joy, confidence, and creativity, but there’s no room? If you empty out the negative, God will have room to fill your life with good things. Instead of hanging on to bitterness after someone does you wrong, say, “God, I forgive them. I let it go.” You didn’t just forgive; you made room for God to give you beauty for ashes. When you empty out worry, you’ll have peace in the midst of the storm. Empty out discouragement, and He’ll fill you with joy. He’ll fill you with good things.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the promise that You fill my life with good things. I choose to empty out the worry so You can fill me with peace, to empty out the discouragement so You can fill me with joy. I believe that You will keep me young and strong in spirit. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts,
At 88, the plumbing does not work so good any more so after I got back to my sleeping chair my mind went ballistic with everything that I needed to do today, but it was 4 AM.  It was such a blessing to give it all to our Lord and fall peacefully back to sleep. But back in the saddle again this morning touching base with you.  And some days are like renewed youth even at 88.  But the key of today is, do you really have room for the LORD to be the LORD in your life.  There are many of us that are so full of themselves that there is no room for the Holy Spirit to help at all.

So it is important each evening and each morning to have a clean sweep down of personal objectives.   You need to allow the Holy Spirit time to help organize your day and your night in the peace of Christ Jesus.  In the news today we see Pence our V.P. on the front lines with a bunch of Christians in prayer.  And Trump supporting Prayer to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Many will immediately call foul and rip Trump to shreds as a hypocrite.  Personally, I hope he is catching on as needing to have God’s help in changing himself and changing our Country back to the level of Godly faith that it began with.  And we all need to realize that for the Holy Spirit to fill us, our cup must also be empty of self.  If Jesus is to become our LORD and the center of our lives then we will need to take time to find out what HE has created us to do for HIM and HIS Kingdom.   That we are not our own, we have been purchased from sin and death by the precious sufferings of our LORD.  I was thinking about Mel Gibson and the film “The Passion” yesterday and that I personally can not watch that film but perhaps once a year, if then.   And yet the film was not even close to what Jesus went through to redeem us from the clutches of sin, sickness and death.

So Paul considered himself to be a bond slave of Christ Jesus.  A slave that was given freedom but decided to rather remain as a slave of his master as being a much better way of life than outside.   So today concerns making room for God’s Blessings by doing some house cleaning.  It use to be that after a hard winter there would be spring house cleaning where even the carpets were hung on the clothes line and beaten to get the dirt out from the winter.  And every thing from floor to ceiling was cleaned for the new life of spring.  You would be wise to take inventory and see what you can toss by the Grace of God and with help of the Holy Spirit of negative attitudes.  Like Jesus tells us to love our enemies and do them good.  Paul tells us to pray for those in authority and to be in humility about them as they are there for our best interest.  Perhaps they are what we deserve and not what we want but that is in the hands of God.  Hopefully Amy will get confirmed and this nation’s court will have another look at abortion.  Perhaps God will allow this nation to completely drain the Swamp.  Worth our time to pray about, for sure as we all have many small children growing up in our families.  I have three great great, grandchildren now and over 35 great grandchildren that I would like to have a better chance at life than spending 12 years in schools teaching immorality,  atheism and socialism.  We have allowed this nation to become very decadent, stuff fixated and basically sinful.  We can repent or for sure we will be judged.  And repentance is an individual and very personal thing.  It is a decision to go for the light rather than be dragged along into the darkness of eternity.  The choice is now ours because of Jesus.

Worthy Brief <;   U.S. Vice President Mike Pence joined tens of thousands of Christians to pray in Washington for a nation beset by political and social turmoil ranging from deadly riots to fierce political infighting.    On this inaugural National Day of Prayer and Return, the First Lady and I join millions of Christians here in the United States and around the world in prayer, as we turn our hearts to our Lord and Savior.    A Chinese textbook has changed the ending in the Biblical account of Jesus saving the woman caught in adultery by writing that Jesus kills the woman after telling her that He is also a sinner, Christian Headlines reports.     A video now in circulation shows two founders of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement discussing how they call on “spirits” of the dead and of their ancestors, to honor and them and to invoke their help, CNS News reported Tuesday. Politics & Prophesy,   Sunday, 9/26/20,   “Worth Considering”    From Ken<><

Obviously we are in a sea of misinformation and out right lies and will be there for the next 60 days.  My thought have been to find some objectivity about it all as to which 2 choices that we have would be best for us Christians.   Seems all shades of Grey for the most part with no White Knight to step in and save us all.

One side wants to kick God out of everything and get rid of our Constitutional Republic and put another form of government in it place which they say will be atheist and better for all.   Of course those thought have been tried by many countries over the years and ruined most of them.  Absolute authority, corrupts, absolutely….

The other side seems to be sliding around our Constitutional corners as well.  But then can you believe anything from the national news these days?  the Pres. is a business man, not a Christian it would seem.  Got to personally know, for sure,  both sides to be able to clearly judge a Truth.  You can find anything on YouTube.

Some of the things that I liked about the last 4 years.  Supreme Court Judge choices.   Putting folks back to work, best employment in 50 years.   Less restrictions, less taxes and more freedom.  Christmas again celebrated at the White House.   OK to say Merry Christmas again.  We were just about to have a balanced budget when hit with the virus from China.  Which some feel may be a planned attack.  Also would love to see the swamp REALLY DRAINED in D.C.

But the big issue is to really stay close to the Holy Spirit and not to let any of this junk change your relationship with Jesus.  Watch out for pride full judgments and bitterness.  None of us know exactly what happened.  We only see through the eyes of those who may already have been corrupted.  So stay in Love with humility and obedience to the Holy Spirit and we will be fine.
Yours, in HIS great love,   Ken<><

FREEWILL & PAIN,     “WORTH CONSIDERING” 9/25/20     From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture               (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! …Matt. 18:7”
When Offenses Come
Today’s Scripture says offenses and betrayals will come—loss, bad breaks, things we don’t understand. It’s painful enough when it happens, but if you make the mistake of going around feeding the hurt, feeding the offense, you’re giving life to bitterness, resentment, and discouragement. Don’t feed the self-pity or what didn’t work out. Don’t relive the hurts. You can’t feed your history and feed your destiny at the same time. What’s happened to you is over and done. Quit thinking about how you were raised, what you didn’t get, who hurt you, who you lost—that’s history, that’s behind you. You have to starve the doubts, starve the negative comments people have spoken over you, starve the guilt and condemnation. You can’t go into a new season if you’re always looking back at the old. Now do your part and keep feeding your faith, your hopes, your dreams, and you will step up to a new level and see those dreams come to pass.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that when I face offenses and hurts that I’m surrounded by Your favor. Thank You that the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter and that my best days are still out in front of me. I believe and declare that You always cause me to triumph. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
Number one in my heart understanding is that God is never the cause of any kind of pain.  If I have pain of any kind it is because somewhere I have neglected to put in place the armor of God that Jesus bought for me in HIS death and resurrection.  Some where my shield of faith has a hole in it.  James covers this very well in his short letter.  So pain of any kind give me a heads up that I need to make repairs.  I am missing something somewhere in my spiritual growth and sanctification.  In Romans 8, Paul tells me that I am more than a Conqueror in Christ Jesus.   So as I know the Word of God each truth is like a fiber that when woven together with the many other fibers will keep the enemy out and from giving me pain and then telling me that God did it.  We are falsely taught that God can do anything so HE must be responsible for everything.  And in matter of fact, HE is the Creator of all so it sounds reasonable.  However, we forget that God also gave us an eternal soul and freewill to do as we will.  That HE has given us life on this Earth to decide if we want to live with HIM in Light or be the prime directive of our own life and eat of the tree of good and evil for ourselves.  We have the option of learning by faith in peace and joy or learning by experience for ourselves which can be very painful.  There is an immutable cosmic law of God in effect that we reap what we sow.   Rom. 8, If we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption (death) But if we sow to the Spirit, we will of the Spirit reap GOD’s LIFE.  In America that is no excuse at all.  You can find Bibles all over the place.  So many that some are even being sold as a place to keep stuff safe because the insides of the pages have been cut out leaving a place to keep things safe.  Of course the pages to really keep you safe have been discarded.  Some churches are like that as well.

So upon our graduation from the school of life we will be called upon for show and tell as to what we did with our life.  Our words and actions will be matched up.  What we have told our children to do will be matched with what we have done.   The Good that we know will be matched with the actions of our lives in what we have done.  As I have been teaching Bible for a lot of years now, it really helps keep me on my best to know this.  And of course there is a learning curve of God’s Grace if headed for HIS Light.   But Hebrews 6 shares with us that we can know it all and still decide to go south and find it impossible to find restoration or redemption.  So one of the things God will not do is to make you do something.  He does not use manipulation, threat or bribe.   But the darkness will use it all to keep you in eternal darkness.       I have a book available to help you get an excellent foundation, on line, no charge, just ask for it.

Yours in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy,   Ken<><

TEMPTATIONS,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    9/23/20       From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture      (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  (James 1:2–3, NKJV)
Count it All Joy
We’d love to not have any pain, suffering, bad breaks, betrayals, or loss, but that’s not reality. Difficulties will come, and pain is a part of life, so keep the right perspective: there is purpose in your pain. If everything were always easy, we wouldn’t be prepared for our destiny. In the tough, dark times, God is getting you prepared. He knows exactly what you need and when you need it. Every struggle is making you stronger. Every difficulty is growing you up. You may not like it, but every painful season is developing something in you that can be developed only in the tough times. That difficulty is an opportunity to develop character, to gain a greater trust in God. If God allowed it, He knows how to bring good out of it. Don’t just go through it; grow through it and keep a good attitude. Count it all joy, knowing that this pain is going to lead to your gain.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that there is a purpose in the pain I experience whether I understand it or not. Thank You that You are preparing me and making me stronger and growing me up. I declare that I will count it all joy and overcome whatever I face. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
In other words, The testing of this world is like a gymnasium fitted with all kinds of spiritual testing and weights.   Just a Jesus was tested after His baptism by John.  He was deeply tested concerning the three basic areas of temptation in this world.  The lust of the eyes, Lust of the flesh and the Pride of life.  The same three temptations that Eve went through.  And that each of us go though almost daily.  There is an old adage saying, “What does not kill you, makes you stronger.”  It was God’s original approach with Adam as to have him lean about freewill by faith in believing what God said was true.  Need to read again the temptation strategy used on Eve to see how this works.  Gen.3:1-7, “Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And [a] the serpent (Satan) said to the woman, “Can it really be that God has said, ‘You shall not eat from [b] any tree of the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden, 3 except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God said, ‘You shall not eat from it nor touch it, otherwise you will die.’” 4 But the serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die! 5 For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened [that is, you will have greater awareness], and you will be like God, knowing [the difference between] good and evil.” 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise and insightful, she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband [c] with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of the two of them were opened [that is, their awareness increased], and they knew that they were naked; and they fastened fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.    In verse 1 satan lies and blatantly and simply call God a liar.    In verse 4 satan lies to Eve that she would not die.  But she did die and all generations after her.    In verse 5. satan lies that Eve would become like God.   But she didn’t. she became like satan.    In verse 6. satan’s closing sails pitch: It is tasty, beautiful and will make you wise.  But it didn’t, it caused death and division and darkness.  John Bunyan’s “The Holy War” comes to mind….Amazon

satan has been using this effective sales pitch for 6,000 year now the world is full of folks and nations who owe their souls to the company store because they like Eve did not see the lies for what they were. They borrowed from tomorrow to have today what they did not need.   And they turned their backs on God as somehow being responsible for their lusts, envies, prides, greed, fornication and murders and pain,  all in the name of finding a better way of life.  And now tend to agree with lucifer (satan) that God is a liar and can not be trusted.  James wrote about this in James 1:14-18.  ”  But each one is tempted when he is dragged away, enticed and baited [to commit sin] by his own [worldly] desire (lust, passion). 15 Then when the illicit desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin has run its course, it gives birth to death. 16 Do not be misled, my beloved brothers and sisters. 17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow [d] cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes]. 18 It was of His own will that He gave us birth [as His children] by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits of His creatures [a prime example of what He created to be set apart to Himself—sanctified, made holy for His divine purposes].

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><

Worthy Brief <;   A Christian watchdog group has published a report describing the widespread trafficking and abduction of Coptic Christian women and girls in Egypt as a “bane”, CBN News reports. Coptic Solidarity released its report “Jihad of the Womb: Trafficking of Coptic Women & Girls in Egypt” last Thursday. The report will be submitted to United Nations agencies and the US Office for Trafficking in Persons.     Attorney General William Barr identified New York City, Seattle, and Portland as three cities that have “permitted violence and destruction of property to persist” following President Trump’s executive order on limiting federal funds to “anarchist jurisdictions” in the United States.      President Trump will impose sanctions on China if Beijing authorizes arms sales to Iran following his move to dismantle the 2015 nuclear deal and renew international sanctions on Tehran.  “In the earliest days of the virus, China locked down travel domestically while allowing flights to leave China and infect the world,”   The World Health Organization, from which the U.S. has begun withdrawing, was also under fire for allegedly echoing talking points from the Chinese government — information that turned out to be false.   “The Chinese government, and the World Health Organization — which is virtually controlled by China — falsely declared that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission,” he said. “Later, they falsely said people without symptoms would not spread the disease.”

IMPRACTICAL   FAITH     “WORTH CONSIDERING”   9/22/20      From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture          (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.  (Matthew 14:29, NLT)
It’s in the Unknown
When Jesus came walking across the stormy sea in the darkness of night, Peter was the only disciple who had the courage to walk on the water to Him. One can imagine the other disciples saying, “It’s too dangerous! Don’t go!” But when Jesus told him to come, Peter stepped out into the unknown and walked on water. He didn’t let what was familiar and comfortable in his life keep him from getting out of the boat and becoming who he was created to be.   You can’t play it safe your whole life and reach the fullness of your destiny. What God has in store for your future is going to boggle your mind—the places He wants to take you, the people you’re going to influence, the dreams you’re going to accomplish. Don’t let the what-ifs talk you out of it. “What if I fail? What if they say no?” You’ll never know unless you try—it’s in the unknown.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that the stormy seas and waves of my life are no problem for You. I choose to obey You quickly. Help me not to over think things, but trust Your leading in my life. I declare that I am willing to step out of my comfort zone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
Got to smile at that one today as one time early in my Christian walk I did muster up all of my faith and stepped out on the water… and just got wet.  Problem was, Jesus had not asked me to do it.   But in another situation a super nutty Christian brother drove from Eureka, to Eugene to tell me about 7 acres that was for sale on Table Bluff about 10 miles south of Eureka.  So by faith I went with him to see the place.  It was about 7 building some as old as WW1 and all falling apart.  The water system was full of very small water shrimp and all of the building were full of hippie squatters.  The owner was concerned for his life.  I bought the spread, hippies and all for 38K.   Went back to Eugene, packed up and move into a duplex with a bad roof, the only vacancy with a bunch of Christians.  I look back on that and wonder, how did I ever decide to do that.  As it turned out the LORD told me just to mind my own business and to begin cleaning up the place and not to try to evict anyone.  Rented a tar kettle and put a new roof on the duplex.  And spent time with the LORD in getting the food together for us and the hungry.  We did not know this at the time but one of the hippies had a brother who was a member of the Bakersfield’s Hell’s Angels.  And he had ask him to bring the chapter up to Eureka to the Lighthouse to scare us out of living there.   At the time I were out getting groceries as the club was on the way.   In Fortuna the club was spotted by the local police and got permission to tag along as see what they were up to.  So just before I returned to Lighthouse Ranch the Chapter had arrived, picked out the wrong building which happened to be where the Warlock had a coven and threw an axe though the window and started to beat up on them thinking they were the Christians.  While this was going on the police car pulled in the driveway and me behind him.   He ask what I would like him to do and I ask him to just wait a bit.  So he got out his 12 Gage turned on the lights and sit on his fender.  Me and another guy went over to talk to the Hell’s Angels.  They were rather subdued by this time as they knew that back up was on the way.  So with bible in hand and the police at my back I sauntered over and ask how I could be of help.  The leader said one of the bikes was busted and needed a part, could they stay there till they all could leave together.  I said sure and walked back to the duplex and police.   Well about that time the cold winter sea winds came in and it started raining.  Those drowned shivering Angels set there from dusk to 3 AM before the part arrived.  There was no room with us in the duplex and there was no invitation from the hippies.  Where they were parked was about 500 feet from the road.  On one side of that driveway was a 5 strand barb wire fence that Leon had created that you could play a tune on.  Leon was the guy that tuned me into buying the place.  On the other side of the drive way was an acre of busted cars that we called the boneyard.  As it seems the Lord would hold their wheels together until they got to Lighthouse Ranch and then they would fall apart.   Well the Angels got the bike fixed all packed up and revved their hogs like thunder and took off lickety split down that driveway out of there.   But at the same time Leon was coming in with his big Helms Bread Truck that took 8 feet + big mirrors out of the single driveway.  And on the front of the truck was painted in black runny letters really big: “REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND,” So all 18 bike lights lite up that truck, Leon could not see so just stopped and you could hear the leather ripping and bikers moaning as they tried to get around the truck either by the fence or through the bone yard.  I have been laughing at that spanking from the Lord now for many years.   And I sort of feel like I got to walk on water for a little bit there.  And none of the fruit of Lighthouse Ranch would have come to pass if I had been at all rational.  It was a really dumb thing to do.  Not at all logical. Could have spent a mint on building repairs and been killed.    But we saw the Lord save hundreds of kids at that old beat up light house station in 1970.  That night seem to turn the tide and broke the log jam and the Hippies began to leave.  All were gone in about a month after that spanking of the LORD.  And the Lord filled up the place with kids looking for God’s Light and Truth.  And ended in becoming Gospel Outreach which brought many to Christ in the 70’s.

And frankly I was just a spectator and a winner because I was on the Lord’s side.  Except for Jesus I could have very easily been on the other side.   But you will never walk on the water with Jesus, unless you are willing to get out of your comfortable little boat.

There is but one Church of Christ Jesus as LORD,
all who Love and Obey HIM are members.

Worthy Brief <;   We as believers in Yeshua (Jesus), know that true forgiveness doesn’t come by doing works, keeping traditions and taking part in beautiful ceremonies. Reconciliation with God comes by truly giving up our lives for His purposes and receiving atonement for our sin through Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah), as the Hebrew scriptures clearly show.    Europe is racing to contain rising coronavirus infections and prevent more hospitalizations and deaths. Authorities in several countries announced new restrictions, sparking protests in Spain, which saw one of the lockdowns.    As he prepares to lead a prayer march in Washington, D.C., next week, evangelist Franklin Graham said the dire problems besetting the country are ones only God can solve, and time is short.

Today’s Scripture            (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
The LORD will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever.
(Psalm 138:8, NLT)

Just One Good Break
Sometimes we don’t see how we can accomplish our dreams. We don’t have the connections, the resources, the experience. It might not look as though it’s going to happen, but what you don’t realize is that you don’t need a hundred things to go right—just one touch of God’s favor and doors will open that you couldn’t open. Just one good break, one right person, one phone call, one healing, one contract, and what seemed impossible will suddenly become possible.  Today’s Scripture says the Lord will work out His plans for your life. You don’t have to work it out. You don’t have to struggle and worry and try to fix every problem, straighten out every enemy, and make things happen in your own strength. You can live from a place of peace, knowing that God has lined up the breaks you need. Get up every morning with the expectancy that He’s going to surprise you.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that just one good break, just one person, just one promotion, just one touch of Your favor can make the impossible suddenly become possible. Thank You that I can stay in peace. I believe that you are working out Your plan for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Of course the basis for God’s supernatural help and grace comes as the results of you deciding to change citizenship from the country of Adam to the country of God.  Our Creator has absolute foreknowledge of all our ways and decisions in life.  And before we were even conceived HE was aware of our choices in life both good and bad.  In 1955 I trusted Jesus with my soul and that began God’s right’s to help me as one of HIS kids.  Where before I had sold myself into sin and was a child of lucifer, John 8. (Please Read)   So as long as I preferred the darkness and it was my choice with my freewill.  God could do very little to help me.   But when I decided to give my life to Jesus as LORD, my old Adamic citizenship was revoked and I became a new citizen of the Kingdom of God.

You see it is in having a relationship with God through Jesus as LORD that salvation become personal and active.  In 1955 I began the walk of Sanctification or of being saved as salvation is a process.  It is not like some churches make it out to be that you make Jesus savior, get baptized and you have a “Get out of Hell” certificated to hang on your wall.  And then can do mostly what ever you want.  Rather,  in making Jesus Lord he also becomes our savior but it is still up to us to walk out the process of being saved.  Jesus said, “He that endures to the end, shall be saved.”  So actually our salvation is a lifetime process of being changed into the Image and Likeness of Jesus or God.  It has a beginning in faith and love in being born from above and that we walk it out until graduation into eternity.   And as you go through the New Testament and check this out you will see that our making Jesus as LORD & SAVIOR is only the beginning for the changes that we needed in our lives to become like Jesus.  That our salvation is secure as long as we decide to stay on the road of sanctification with the Holy Spirit.   So this idea that we can get saved and never be lost and can do what we want is not true.  So the blessings of God as the child of God come through faith obedience and humility of each day we are alive to serve our LORD.  HE came as a servant, the Holy Spirit will also be teaching us how to become obedient and enjoy being a servant as Jesus was.
Heb. 3:13-15   But continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today” [and there is an opportunity], so that none of you will be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [its cleverness, delusive glamour, and sophistication]. 14 For we [believers] have become partakers of Christ [sharing in all that the Messiah has for us], if only we hold firm our newborn confidence [which originally led us to Him] until the end, 15 while it is said,  “Today [while there is still opportunity] if you hear His voice,  Do not harden your heart, as when they provoked Me [in the rebellion in the desert at Meribah].”  Heb.6.4  For [ it is impossible to restore to repentance] those who have once been enlightened [spiritually] and who have [a] tasted and consciously experienced the heavenly gift and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted and consciously experienced the good word of God and the powers of the age (world) to come, 6 [b] and then have fallen away—it is impossible to bring them back again to repentance,  (Best to read this whole chapter to be sure of the context.)   So as a child of God in obedience, faith and humility, we are blessed and our Creator opens doors for us as we serve HIM.  But for those who choose to live a self centered ego-centric life, don’t blame God for the darkness.  Many are really angry with God for not helping them live their lives in darkness.

Worthy Brief <;   But we ought to realize…there are nine verses in the Bible, Old, and New Testament, which clearly state that we will be judged and rewarded for our works. (The final one is Revelation 22:12). Salvation is by grace through faith, and all who believe have their names written in the Book of Life.[Eph 2:5], but our rewards will be determined solely by what we have done. One day, when this life is over, we will all stand before the judgment seat of Messiah (Christ). Once we breathe our last breath we will never again be able to prepare for eternity! These are our days of awe; not just once a year, but every single day of our life. Our everyday deeds on earth will determine our destinies in eternity.   A leading Jewish commentator and politician says the agreements that Israel signed this week with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are of “biblical proportions” and foretold in prophecy. Dov Lipman, a former legislator of Israel’s centrist Yesh Atid (“There Is a Future”) party, noted that Scriptures detail the tensions between the two sons of the Biblical patriarch Abraham.    The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier safely transited on Friday through the Strait of Hormuz, the world’s most important chokepoint for oil shipments, the U.S. Navy said, as tensions with Iran continue to simmer.    Saudia Arabia has reportedly enough mineable uranium ore reserves to produce nuclear fuel, raising fears of a possible nuclear arms race with regional rival Iran.

DUMPING THE TRASH,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   9/18/20     From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture            (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
Admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed., Jm. 5:16
Ask for Help
It’s easy to hide things in our lives and let people see only what we want them to see. All the heroes of faith in the Scripture had their weaknesses and failures. Everyone has issues.

If you’re still struggling in an area today, there is no shame in asking for help. Sometimes we think we’re supposed to be perfect, so we can’t let anybody know we have a bad habit, an addiction, or a struggle. We would be embarrassed if others knew. Today’s Scripture tells you to not let shame keep you isolated. Real healing begins when we get honest. There are some things that you can’t overcome on your own. You need to find somebody to stand in faith with you, a person of integrity whom you can trust to walk with you through it. There’s something about getting it out in the open. Don’t let the fear of what other people think keep you from your miracle.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to hide my faults and weaknesses and be isolated. Help me to find someone whose integrity I trust to stand in faith and pray with me. I want the healing that comes with being honest and bringing my issues to the light. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
What a wonderful way to dump the trash.  Of course there is a little more context that needs to be considered:   James 5:14-18 and well worth considering.   “14 Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with [c] oil in the name of the Lord; 15 and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed [d] intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. 18 Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].

The key here is to find a prayerful righteous man to confess your fault to.  And they are rather scarce.   Otherwise it may be very painful ending in gossip and slander.  And if no loving unity in heart faith don’t expect much to happen.  Only if the Word of God goes forth in Faith, Unity, Love and Holiness, will there be Divine healing.  This only worked for Jesus & other’s like HIM.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy,   Ken<><

Historic  Church Elder Statements:
“I am convinced that many evangelicals are not truly and soundly converted. Among the evangelicals it is entirely possible to come into membership, to ooze in by osmosis, to leak through the cells of the church and never know what it means to be born of the Spirit and washed in the blood.” – A W Tozer.

“It is simply absurd to say you believe, or even want to believe, in Him, if you do not do anything He tells you.” – George Macdonald

“God is not looking for brilliant men, is not depending upon eloquent men, is not shut up to the use of talented men in sending His gospel out in the world. God is looking for broken men who
have judged themselves in the light of the cross of Christ. When He wants anything done, He takes up men who have come to the end of themselves, whose confidence is not in themselves, but in God.”- H.A. Ironside

“Let us learn by paradox
that the way down is the way up,
that to be low is to be high,
that the broken heart is the healed heart,
that the contrite spirit is the rejoicing spirit,
that the repenting soul is the victorious soul,
that to have nothing is to possess all,
that to bear the cross is to wear the crown,
that to give is to receive,
that the valley is the place of vision.”

Worthy Brief <;     Since the election in 2016, one prayer organization has held gatherings around the country online and in person. Now they’ve launched around-the-clock worship in the days leading up to the November elections.      While the police killing of George Floyd sparked a nationwide and international conversation about racism and its effects, a new survey has found that practicing US Christians are less likely to acknowledge racial injustice this year (43%) than they were in 2019 (46%). Moreover, there was an increase in the percentage of those who said race is not a problem in America at all (19% in 2020, up from 11% in 2019), Barna reports.    Contrary to corporate media narratives, up to 95 percent of this summer’s riots are linked to Black Lives Matter activism, according to data collected by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED). The data also show that nearly 6 percent — or more than 1 in 20 — of U.S. protests between May 26 and Sept. 5 involved rioting, looting, and similar violence, including 47 fatalities.   It is estimated the insurance industry will have to pay between $1 billion and $2 billion in claims related to vandalism and looting that followed the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police on May 25, Axios reports.  The FBI is opening a new counterintelligence probe of Chinese-linked threats “every 10 hours,” bureau Director Christopher Wray told Congress on Thursday, underscoring the threat Beijing poses to U.S. interests.

AUTHORITY,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   9/17/20    From Ken<><
Today’s Scripture      (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“…Then the LORD asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth?… Is it not I, the LORD?.”
(Exodus 4:11, NLT)
Use What You Have
When God told Moses to go and tell Pharaoh, “Let My people go,” Moses said, “God, I can’t do that. I don’t speak well. I stutter.” Moses was saying, “God, I don’t have what it takes. You didn’t give me that gift. I’m afraid.” He kept making excuse after excuse until the Scripture says, “God became angry with Moses.” He was angry because Moses saw his gift as not enough. He’s displeased when we’re not using what He’s given us, when we’re making excuses, discounting our gifts. God said to Moses, “Who made your tongue?” He was saying, “Moses, I created the universe. I flung stars into space. You didn’t get shortchanged. You’re not lacking anything.” God would not ask you to do something if He hadn’t already given you what you need. Quit saying, “If I was as gifted or good looking as they are, I could do something great.” No, take the talent you have and develop it. If you’ll use what you have, God will give you more.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the gifts and the talents You put in me. Thank You that I don’t have to have what I think is a big gift for You to use me in a great way. I will be faithful to develop what You’ve given me and trust You to give me more as I increase it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Great thought this morning.  And right on time.   I just finished writing a letter of support for a young woman who wanted to settle for a C or D marriage.  She has a brilliant mind, My counsel was to get busy with God’s work and Mr. Wright will come being prepared by God to be an A+ husband… That if we first seek the Kingdom of God that our Creator has told us that all the stuff we need will be added to us.  So don’t go by who you use to be.  In Christ Jesus you are a brand new Creation and need only to simple walk in the Spirit.   Just in humility and loving obedience submit your freewill to the LORD with all your heart and the rest is then up to HIM.

That is a great story about Moses and his stuttering and so God sent along Aaron, his brother, to give him a hand.  But once there, seems to me, Moses did all of the talking.   Should get out that old copy of “The Ten Commandments” with Charlton Heston with the family sometime and watch it again… really a great film…I especially loved the scene where God wrote the big 10 in the rocks with Moses standing there….  Charlton Heston certainly made a great Moses….

In prayer last night was working with the Holy Spirit to get a better understanding of Godly Authority.   In the world we have totally reversed the meaning of authority from what God has set for eternal authority.  Man’s approach is to get authority by the use of one kind of force or another.  Communists, Muslims and Hindus are all trying to gain power by killing others.
With God, Power is not an issue.   His position is from all power and authority and comes from a position of LOVE.  That we come to HIM in faith and love in humility because we want to learn how to become obedient.  Because we see that being obedient to God is the very best way to live our lives..  God had created in our soul a freewill that is like HIM.  The use of our freewill is totally up to us as to what we decide to do.   We can choose the darkness or the light, up to us.  I once had a vision of being in a totally black room.   I was standing to the side of the room but I could not even make out what the room looked like as it was totally dark.   Then Jesus opened the door on one end of the room and HIS brightness totally filled the room and HE walked across the room to the other side and made a door of white light and walked out that new door.  So now the room had a light at one end and could be seen as all black with one door of pure white light.  And as soon as HE left lucifer came in the black door with paint buckets and began to paint pastel colors all around the room.  A little purple for pride, a little green for greed, a little pink for passion and so on till the only thing left in the room that was black was the door where he came into the room.  And after the painting he left by that same black door.  Now as we enter this temporary room or dimension of life as we know it and we are confronted with Pastels to choose from.  But only Christ shines through as Savior, Priest and King with the balance of the 3 primary colors to make white light.  So our Creator simply want’s us to learn to love, trust and obey Him so He can help us to become like Him and be HIS family for eternity.  But He is not about to turn the darkness, pride and rebellion loose in HIS timeless universe.  Look what is has done to planet earth.   lucifer had a choice, Adam had a choice,  Jesus had a choice and now you have a choice.

Worthy Brief <;      Gregory Boyd, senior Pastor of New Birth Harvest Outreach Ministries Churches of Deliverance in Florida, was shot and killed at a shopping area in Northwest Miami-Dade on Thursday last week, CBN News reports. Pastor Boyd is believed to have been caught in crossfire after a gunfight broke out between two groups of men at The Village Flea Market and Mall.    A British pastor who received threats of violence from LGBT supporters, including a threat to burn down his church, was recently told by local police that he could be breaking the law by expressing his view of homosexuality on social media, CBN News reported on September 8. Pastor Josh Williamson of Newquay Baptist Church in Cornwall, southern England, was advised by police that he should keep his views to a “safe environment” and not offend the LGBT community.    At least 58 people were killed, and 17 kidnapped when Muslim militants attacked two villages in the mainly-Christian north-east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), aid workers said Tuesday.    Islamic Fulani militants have killed a Nigerian pastor after he was already wounded in the same attack, Christian rights investigators confirmed.    Counties in Pennsylvania were directed not to discard mail-in ballots where signatures don’t match ones in a voter’s file.    Attorney General William P. Barr told federal prosecutors last week to charge violent demonstrators with a range of offenses, including sedition, a charge usually reserved for someone plotting to overthrow the government, according to a report Wednesday.

ALOHA SAINTS, FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me,   John 3:16

Today’s Scripture                   (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“…Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”  (Matthew 11:28, NLT)

Lay Aside the Weights
Sometimes it’s as though we’re carrying all these heavy bags around—a bag of guilt, another bag with all the mistakes we’ve made, then we add on a bag full of regrets. We go through life carrying around all of these bags, then we wonder why life is a struggle, why we’re tired, why we can’t accomplish a dream. It’s because you weren’t created to live with guilt, condemnation, and shame.  The Scripture tells us to “lay aside the weights that can easily entangle us.” It’s time to lay aside those weights of guilt and shame and regret. It’s time to get rid of that baggage. This is a new day. The accuser has held you back long enough. Nothing you’ve done in the past is too much for the mercy of God. You are redeemed. You are restored. Shake off the guilt and the accusing voices and receive the gift of righteousness in Christ Jesus and rest for your soul.
A Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that I can come to You and unload all the weight of heaviness, regrets, feelings of unworthiness. I am laying aside all those heavy bags and receiving Your gift of righteousness. I will rest in Your love and mercy and forgiveness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts,
Of course, all of the above,  but also Unforgiveness and Stuff.  When I moved from my home and Inn in 2018 after being there from 1971, I had to leave in a hurry as the new owners container full of their stuff arrived.   So I hired a bunch of kids and got a ton of boxes and had them just load up (toss) everything and had a moving company move it to our new location.   3 years later my carport is still full of boxes, a Costco tent is full of stuff and a new shop still has to be sorted out… STUFF….   Some good and some trash but then my feet gave out, getting better now, so still looking at the stuff.  Wife say just dump it all…. Hmmmmm????  But then there is some really good stuff in that mountain of stuff….So been looking for a hoarder expert to give me a hand.  Not as bad as the show, but perhaps 30-40% accurate.  But in the LORD need to get to -0-.   I love the story of the Rich Young Ruler who was told to give it all to the poor….  Could put up a sign in my front yard, “Free Store” and see what happens.   But then there is the virus and I am numbered among the endangered species list at my age of 88.    But then there was another rich man and Jesus only borrowed his tomb for 3 nights, blessed it,  and gave it back.

But an even bigger issue is unforgiveness.  It makes us feel so spiritual and elevated to hold some ones else’s feet to the fires who has wronged us.  And we get to justly talk stink about them any time we want to.   Of course those who live in a glass house should learn not to throw rocks.  And when we face the Eternal Judge of all things will we find mercy or judgment for our sins?  Will we find mercy and grace or judgment and expulsion from God’s Kingdom of Righteousness.  We need to understand that God’s forgiveness of us is totally dependent on what forgiveness we extend to each other.   Jesus gave us an example of thoughts for us to pray through for finding mercy and grace and it goes like this.

Luke 1 AMP    It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.” 2 He said to them,  “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. 3 ‘Give us each day our daily bread. 4 ‘And forgive us our sins,  For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us [who has offended or wronged us]. And lead us not into temptation but rescue us from evil.”

Traditional Prayer that we are use to:
Our Father, who art in heaven,  hallowed be thy name;  thy kingdom come;  thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation;  but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom,  the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

But the LORD Jesus is trying to teach us something really important here.  1st off,  GOD is the ultimate cause of all things, energy, matter, universe and including us and we need to understand that HE is a HOLY GOD.  And that although HE has given us a freewill HE would like us to learn to become a Holy People and make the earth like HIS Kingdom above in righteousness.  Also that we can depend upon HIM to provide for our needs and to forgive us in the same manner that we want HIM to forgive us during this temporary time of training and testing.  And for us to seek His help to learn to stay away from the sins of youthful lusts and the pride of life and to help us to be truly free,  for after all it is HIS Kingdom and Glory for eternity…  So Be It.     (So these words are an actual Holy Guide for Prayer and not a mindless mantra to be said without heart understanding,  Well Worth Deeply Considering.  You have one life time in which to figure it out.)

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<><
