ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God and me.   John 12:24-26

LIGHT & DARKNESS,    “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/14/20     Ken<><    (This one will kick up some dust.)
Today’s Scripture   ( In my mail this morning from Texas.)
“…And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good…”
(Genesis 1:3–4, NIV)

Find the Good
When God created the heavens and the earth on the first day, He said, “Let there be light,” and light came. There were no skies, no animals, and the earth was formless and empty, but God said it was “good.” An observer would have said, “God, it’s not good; it’s a mess. Nothing is in order.” And He would have responded, “Don’t worry. You’re only seeing day one. Wait till you see what it looks like when it’s ‘very good’ at the end of day six.”

Sometimes we’re so focused on our flaws, weaknesses, shortcomings, and how we should be further along that it holds us back. You need to focus on what you’re doing right. Find the good along the way; thank Him for the partial. If you don’t celebrate the good in day one, in the season that you’re in, you won’t see day two. If you’ll be grateful for the good, God will get you to very good.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that You created the heavens and earth, and You made me as well. Thank You that You’re not finished working in my life, and I celebrate the good. I believe that as I give thanks for the good that You will get me to very good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s thoughts,
Generally light is seen to be God through the scriptures.  His light would be impossible to experience in these temporary frail bodies that we live in as we explore this temporary dimension of free will in time.  Think about the sun x 10 in brightness, you have an idea of our Creator.

God Is Light:   “1 John 1:5-10
5 “This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection]. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness [of sin], we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him], and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. 8 If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we are sinners], we delude ourselves and the truth is not in us. [His word does not live in our hearts.] 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose]. 10 If we say that we have not sinned [refusing to admit acts of sin], we make Him [out to be] a liar [by contradicting Him] and His word is not in us.

So in this life only we have the opportunity to use our free will to seek out God’s Truth in Light and walk it out.  However most of us live in a mansion with many rooms and we rationalize and are very good at hypocrisy (acting).  We are different when with different people due to our fear of rejection or fear of missing out.  So Christ Jesus has sent the Holy Spirit to help us clean house if we want HIS grace and much needed help.   When we make Christ Jesus our LORD HE saves us but then there is the process of getting us ready to live in the light of God and to clean out all the rooms so that we can walk in the integrity of who we are meant to become in Christ Jesus regardless of circumstances or even death,  John 12:24-26.    Being really born again spiritually from above begins the process of dumping all the junk that we have inherited from Adam or have gathered up to ourselves in this world of lust and deceit.   Replacing the foreign parts with originals will take commitment. “He that endures to the end shall be saved.”  Matt. 24:12-14.
So now to upset some of you Bible Thumpers.  Personally I feel that the details in Genesis by Moses may have some translation issues.  The plants were on the 3rd day the sun, moon and stars were on the 4th day.  This is not logical except with restoration.  Why did God tell Adam to replenish and subdue the world (K.J.) if he was the only human.  It is my feeling that Adam and Eve were different than any before them and the FIRST of God’s NEW Creation to be in HIS image and likeness as a living eternal soul.  In Isa.28:14 we find that lucifer was the anointed cherub that covered (had responsibility of our earth) and in 18 he was found to defile his sanctuaries (dwelling places).  In Isa. 14:17 we find that lucifer’s defection made the world as a wilderness and destroyed the cities.  As God is a God of light did HE create the world in darkness in Gen.1:2 after He had created the heavens and earth in Gen.1:1 in light?  And in pre-flood the Sons of God (of Adam) Gen.6:4 found the women left from lucifer’s covering that were still alive outside of the Garden,  some in the land of Nod.   It is very obvious that the world of homosapians  has been around a long time before Adam.  But Adam was the new beginning of our Creator’s children and their redemption.  With the advent of Jesus 4,000 years later we see this clearly.  And Jesus became the 1st born of woman and replaces Adam in the restoration of all things and now is in the very image of God.  So God is still on track with HIS original vision to make man in HIS IMAGE and LIKENESS, Gen.1:26   He has not given up.   His offer is still good.  “16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you and to give you assurance of these things for the churches. I am the Root (the Source, the Life) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and bright Morning Star.”  17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, believers) say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost. Rev.22

Now before you get out the hot tar kettle and pluck the old hen for feathers, give this some cogitation time.  Don’t come at me with yesterdays traditions, think it through.  Vain traditions have made the Word of God, ineffective.   You wonder why there is no power in the LORD’s Church,  He is outside knocking to get in.   I was an earth science major, this works for me.   Plants use the moon as a clock.  The old civilizations of Australia go back much further than 6,000 years.  Even Egypt easily dates back to 6,500 BC or before.  And I do know that science is sometimes fictional.  Darwin, at the end of his life, wrote that evolution was unproven and unprovable.  I believe our timeless Creator with absolute foreknowledge has enjoyed bringing HIS dream to this point in our time.  And we are all invited to become part of it if we want to.  And we have all been given a totally free will to decide it for ourselves just as Adam did.

Yours in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<><

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God if you Love, Honor and Obey Jesus as LORD.

Today’s Scripture               (Across my desk this morning from the big church in Texas.)
“…The fear of human opinion disables; trusting in GOD protects you from that…”
(Proverbs 29:25, MSG)

Don’t Give Your Identity Away

One day a large crowd of people celebrated Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” A few days later, those same people were shouting, “Crucify Him!” When Jesus went to trial and needed His closest friends to support Him, most of His disciples had fled, one had betrayed Him, and Peter denied Him.  (Only John  tried to defend HIM.)  If you don’t know who you are without other people, then if they leave, you’ll be lost. They’ll take you with them because your identity was caught up in who they made you to be. Then you’ll have to try to find somebody else to tell you who you are. Don’t put your identity, your value into somebody else’s hands. You don’t need their approval or for them to tell you who you are. Your value came from your Creator. Let Him tell you who you are. Get your value, your self-worth, your approval from Him.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that I don’t have to look to someone else to tell me who I am because You have already told me that I am Your masterpiece and prized possession. I declare that my identity and value is securely in Your hands, and I’m not looking to others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Comments,
Possible this is one of my most fought battles each day prior to the CCPVirus.  Now I don’t get to town very often so not talking so much for Christ Jesus.  My driving is difficult with my feet issues and we are short one car for now.  But like the Word speaks the truth, “And they took offense at Him [refusing to believe in Him]. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.” Matt.13:57.  In fact this statement is shared another 4 times in the New Testament.  And further: “58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”  And “But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:”

As I look back over the peaks of my experience in ministry I have noticed that the room was full of faith and expectancy.  That there was a nearly supernatural unity.  And the TRUTH of God in Christ Jesus was being shared.  And most important of all was that Jesus was being lifted up.  then the Holy Spirit healed and delivered the people supernaturally.  I have enjoyed this kind of gathering in Costa Mesa 1969, LightHouse Ranch 1970 and at Pilgrim’s Inn 1971-75.  A time when the Holy Spirit was allowed to take total control and we all just followed HIM in loving faith.  And all were touched with God’s love like in Acts 5:16.   Once this becomes an experience there is no turning back from the school of sanctification to become like Jesus.  Even today at near 88 I would love to enjoy that experience at least one more time before I graduate or go home in the Rapture.  So lets take a look at what is needed for from us to enjoy dancing with GOD…  Like Mr. Daily did one night at LightHouse Ranch.   It all started with Leon Omwake, a very dear unique brother in Christ found that an old coast guard light house was for sale in Lolita, CA near Eureka.  So he drove all the way up to Pleasant Hill, OR to tell me about it.  I was then working on a 70 acre Christian Community on Lost Creek near Dexter OR.   So I packed a few things and went with Leon to Table Bluff LightHouse, Liked it and bought it including about 50 hippie squatters.  But skipping a lot of good history here there was a special Saturday evening after we had remodeled the Horn House (the place where the fog horn had been) and made it into a chapel that would hold perhaps 130 people (tightly packed) And one Sat. evening Mr. Daily came, (he had arthritics so bad that his feet and hands were curled up, walked with difficulty with 2 canes and we got a chair for him.  As the evening progressed Bill Wheeler was sharing on his 12 string, “He Turned the Water into Wine” by Johny Cash.  Now there was a floor full of hippies, 70 or more all sprawled out and comfortable all over but mostly on the floor.  As Bill was really getting into the Spirit, Mr. Daily quietly rose to his feet, no canes, closed eyes and danced before the LORD for at least 5 minutes and never opened his eyes nor stepped on any one.  But all eyes were on Mr. Daily.  He had the sweetest smile on his face, like an angle.  Then he set down, never got healed?  But we had one rip roaring full of the Holy Spirit time in which many were saved, healed and delivered.  It was way late before it was over that Sat. Evening but it is still vividly burned into my memories so beautifully by the Holy Spirit nearly 50 years ago.

So it takes a comfortable space, no pews.  Souls in loving faith, respect for the Word of God, obedience, humility, unity in God’s Truth and a freedom from traditions and what others may think.  God is not in a box and neither does HE want us to be boxed.  Jesus came to set us free in God’s Truth.  He is calling us out to be HIS “Rod of Iron” to share HIS LOVE with all of HIS creation.  If we don’t want to learn to do it here in time,  would we ever do it there in eternity?

Yours, in HIS great Love and wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<><

Aloha Family & Friends,
Seems like an anointed idea to get a song book together with Spirit Filled Songs with seven divisions.  About 10 really great songs in each section. Songs that are truly anointed in both music and words.   The Early Church used 7 steps to go from the door to the Holy of Holies.
About Jesus and Salvation as the door. About clear Sound Bible Doctrine Fellowship and Joy Lords Supper as a memorial Prayer Time in making contact Holy Spirit ministry time (Body Life Ministry) Holy of Holies power time.
In that way the worship and praise could support the Church from the front door into the supernatural like the tabernacle of Moses in the wilderness and the Early Church in Acts 2:42-47   Worship and Praise should be woven into the fabric of each gathering.  God inhabits the praise of HIS people.  Musicians are not on stage as performers in the Kingdom but clear the way for the work of the Holy Spirit.   It is all about Jesus and what helps folks to want to become like HIM. The 144,000 are all musicians in the Kingdom of Christ Jesus.  We have made Christian Music into entertainment.  God designed it to take down strong holds like the city of Jericho and bust down the gates of hel and to set the captives free.
Please send me your suggestions if interested.  See to it you get a copy when done. Yours, in HIS great love,   Ken<>< 85-4554 Mamalahoa Hwy. Captain Cook,  HI 96704

DREAMS & VISIONS,     “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/10/20     From Ken<><
Today’s Scripture    (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy…”  (Psalm 126:1–2, NIV)

The Laughter of Amazement
The Israelites had been taken into captivity by the Babylonians. The return and the restoration of Jerusalem had been anticipated for so long that it seemed like a dream to them. Some of them had waited their entire lifetime. Their joy was beyond containing. They were laughing in amazement, saying, “This is like a dream. It’s too good to be true.”  Some of the things you’ve been dreaming about—to get out of debt, to start that business, to meet the right person, to finish college—the odds may be against you, it seems laughable, but God is about to surprise you. Stay in faith, because like the Israelites, the day is coming where God fills your mouth with the laughter of amazement. It’s going to seem like a dream. You’re not only going to be amazed, but the people around you are going to be so in awe that all they can do is laugh with you.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for the things You’ve put into my heart that seem laughable and that I have to dare to believe can happen. Thank You that You do what seems to be too good to be true. I’m going to stay in faith and look forward to laughing in amazement. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Thoughts:
You know, our Creator must have a really deep sense of humor.  I can see HIM in my mind grinning from ear to ear when he created the ducked billed platypus.   Here is a mammal on an Island continent that has a beak like a duck, lays eggs like a bird but has fir like a rabbit and has poison spikes on both back legs for protection.  Nothing else in the whole world even comes close.  I think our Creator got a really big smile when the evolutionist tried to figure that one out. And I use to be an Earth Science Major in college.   No wonder Darwin said that evolution was unproven and unprovable just before he died.   I can also see our Creator laughing at Ananias when he tried to teach HIM about Saul/Paul HIS chosen apostles to the gentiles.  Even Peter got a little wet with Jesus on the water, but he was trying.  I am sure Jesus was smiling at the effort.  God must have a good sense of humor as HE created one in us.  We have a feisty little ferial hen that comes and talks to us when she is hungry and wants food.  She is impressive and will not take no for an answer.   Always good for a smile, And share about colors and shapes, just go snorkeling around here. The ocean is full of good humor in creation.  One day a little 3″ fish, a humuhumunukanukaapuwapa got up in my face to take me on…  She would not go away, nipped me on a finger.  Finally figured it out that I was over her nest of eggs and disturbing her peace of mind. Woke up one morning with a squirrel right in my face reaching for my nose, I was in a hammock between two trees in an Arrowhead Park.  The world is full of adventure and humor and we are too if we don’t allow the world, the flesh and devil to steal our Joy with junk.

Yesterday a guy was talking to me about his father and really talking stink about him.  I knew him and some of my best of memories include some of the times that I had with him as my friend.  And was deeply reminded of the LORD example of prayer.  Forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive others of their trespasses.  I have set my mind to think only of and to share only of the good things that my father and mother did for me.   And to totally forget the junk and stink.  It is only when we let go of all of the pains and causes in our past that we can have any hope for the freedom to enjoy what days we have left.  Our Adamic Ego tries to build on a foundation of bad to make us feel and look good. (PRIDE)    But it never leaves the ground.  All of that stink and snot just keeps us grounded.  So want to learn to fly with the Holy Spirit in joy,  need to lighten up and let the junk of the past go by by, and you will never miss it.  Do unto others as you would like others to do to you.  Those who talk stink will find that they are all time living in stink.  We reap what we sow.  It is an immutable law of God.  What you plant will grow and produce a big crop.  If you plant weeds, all of your life will be covered in weeds.   Plant  joy, humor, love, peace, humility and obedience and you will eventually enjoy a beautiful lovly garden in the peace of GOD.

Yours, in HIS great Love and wonderful Grace and Mercy,   Ken<><

Today’s Scripture              (Across my desk today from a church in Texas.)
“…No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house…”  (Matthew 5:15, NLT)

Do it in Spite of the Fear
God has put gifts and talents in you. He’s given you dreams and goals that are unique to your life. But it’s easy to let fear hold you back. “What if I try it and it doesn’t work…what if people don’t accept me…what if I don’t have the talent?” Too often we let the what-ifs talk us out of it. Quit hiding the dreams and talent that God has given you. He created you to shine, to make a difference, to leave your mark. Your gift isn’t just for you; it’s to share with the world.  Life is short, so stir up what God put in you. You can’t wait till the fear goes away and then you’ll do it. The fear may not go away. You’re going to have to do it in spite of the fear. That’s what faith is all about. Nobody who’s ever done anything great in life has done it without fear.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for entrusting me with gifts and talents and dreams. Thank You that I have greatness in me because You put it there. Help me to come out of hiding and release what You’ve given me in spite of my fears. I will shine Your light into my world. In Jesus’  Amen.

Ken’s Comments,
Seems to me that most Christians (or so called Christians), difficult to know the difference, have their lights securely hidden under a basket.  Now I can not speak for the world or the U.S. or even Hawaii.  But due to the small amount of light that is shining in my location it would make finding out about supernatural spiritual things nearly impossible.   And with few exceptions it seems like the state of the national pulse as well.  There are so many many scriptures that tell us we are the light on the hill and should be lighting up the world’s darkness with God’s Power.  Even in the political events of today.  It is difficult to tell who is telling the truth and who is not.  With our local liberal newspaper you would think that all of the Constitutional Conservative folks should be in jail or even worse, dead.

A Young man asked me yesterday about getting baptized in the ocean.  I shared the intent and meaning of baptism.  It means a personal convection to allow our Adamic selfish nature to be dead and buried.   And to make a public confession that Jesus is now LORD in our life.  But many have been taught that  you get saved that way.  You do, but it is not the water or the ritual it is the life time heart decision to make Jesus LORD and believe in the resurrection.  Many go through the process but in a few months or a year or so are back to the old habits but thinking they are still saved?  But if Jesus and HIS truth are not truly enthroned as LORD in your heart, that is really doubtful.   Our salvation is conditional on Christ Jesus being LORD of our lives, all the time.  Jesus even warned us of that, “He that endureth to the end, shall be saved.”  Mark 13:12-14   So we are still sharing concerning the baptism.  At my age it would be difficult but well worth the time and energy from my perspective if valid.   Remember, life does not consist of physical stuff but by every Word of Truth that has come from the prophets of God especially Jesus Christ. Get a red letter edition of the New Testament and make a list of the commandments of Jesus.   Make up your own report card and see how you stand.  The attached list could help, if on line.  See where you are???

Please understand, those who decided that they want to be among the Children of God and live with God in the heavens are called to become like Jesus in HIS humility and obedience and power.  It is a very difficult school as the left overs of Adam are seeded deep in us.   But the ultimate goal and vision of God has always been to find a people who would decide to love, trust and obey HIM even unto death, Rev. 12:10-12.  “ Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,  “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom (dominion, reign) of our God, and the authority of His Christ have come; for the [a]accuser of our [believing] brothers and sisters has been thrown down [at last], he who accuses them and keeps bringing charges [of sinful behavior] against them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them [in the presence of God]. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you in great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time [remaining]!”    This happens 3 ½ years into the Great Tribulation.   And please note that Chapter 12 is a time line chapter concerning the whole 7 years of the Great Tribulation.  Prior to the 7 years of the Wrath of God is the translation of the Church.  and the period ends in Rev.19 with the battle of Armageddon and the Kingdom of Jesus.  If you would like my paper on “The Return of the King.”  Let me know:   Seems we are just beginning the birth pains for the delivery of the Lord’s Church into eternity.  Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 all merge together to give us the picture of the coming future events.  We can know the signs and seasons by the Holy Spirit.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<><

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God and me,     John 3:14-18

Today’s Scripture        (Found in my mail this morning from Texas.)
“…The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, “Mighty hero, the LORD is with you!… Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!…”
(Judges 6:12, 14, NLT)

Believe What God Says about You
There was a man in the Scripture named Gideon whom God wanted to lead the people of Israel against an opposing army. The angel appeared to him and said, “Hello, Gideon, you mighty man of fearless courage,” I can imagine Gideon looking around thinking, Who is he talking to? Gideon was afraid, intimidated, and insecure. But notice that God didn’t call him what he was. God called him what he could become. God sees your potential. God knows what you’re capable of. You may feel weak, but God calls you strong. You may be intimidated today, but God calls you confident. You may feel less than, but God calls you well able. If the Angel of the Lord were to appear to you today, He would say the same thing he said to Gideon. “Hello, you mighty man, you mighty woman of fearless courage.” Why don’t you get in agreement with God and start believing what He says about you?

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that You see my potential and know what I am capable of. Thank You that You have equipped and are empowering me to be strong where I feel weak and less than. I believe that You are transforming me into a mighty warrior. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Comments,
In 1968 the Holy Spirit finally, after 13 years of Bible thumping churches, got a hold of me and filled me with the Holy Spirit.   I had been trying for 13 years to help other folks find Jesus and in that whole time only got one guy to make Jesus LORD.   But after that it seemed where ever I went there was ripe fruit on the tree to be picked.  I started with a small ministry call Zion Lodge in Dexter, Or. under a mountain called Zion Mountain. 70 acres of beautiful Oregon forest land and put a little Christian Community together.  Kids came from everywhere.  Set up a field kitchen with a tarp overhead, built to bunk houses and hauled in a trailer.  Put in a road, power and dug a well for water.   As later I moved on to Eureka, CA. it became Shiloh Ministries.  Then the Lord has be take an old Cost Guard Station and make it LightHouse Ranch and we saw a lot of kids show up there for salvation and mentoring.  After a year headed to Hawaii and started the Pilgrims in 1971.  But there was one scripture that I used a lot and it fits with the stuff above.  It is found over in 1 Cor. 1:20-31 AMP   At the meetings I would share on this part of Scripture.

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise [the philosophy of the philosophers],
And the cleverness of the clever [who do not know Me] I will nullify,” Isa. 28
20 Where is the wise man (philosopher)? Where is the scribe (scholar)? Where is the debater (logician, orator) of this age? Has God not exposed the foolishness of this world’s wisdom? 21 For since the world through all its [earthly] wisdom failed to recognize God, God in His wisdom was well-pleased through the [c]foolishness of the message preached [regarding salvation] to save those who believe [in Christ and welcome Him as Savior & Lord]. 22 For Jews demand signs (attesting miracles), and Greeks pursue [worldly] wisdom and philosophy, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, [a message which is] to Jews a stumbling block [that provokes their opposition], and to Gentiles foolishness [just utter nonsense], 24 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks (Gentiles), Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 [This is] because the foolishness of God [is not foolishness at all and] is wiser than men [far beyond human comprehension], and the weakness of God is stronger than men [far beyond the limits of human effort].  26 Just look at your own calling, believers; not many [of you were considered] wise according to human standards, not many powerful or influential, not many of high and noble birth. 27 But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty]. 28 God has selected [for His purpose] the insignificant (base) things of the world, and the things that are despised and treated with contempt, [even] the things that are nothing, so that He might reduce to nothing the things that are, 29 so that no one may [be able to] boast in the presence of God. 30 But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God [revealing His plan of salvation], and righteousness [making us acceptable to God], and sanctification [making us holy and setting us apart for God], and redemption [providing our ransom from the penalty for sin], 31 so then, as it is written [in Scripture], “He who boasts and glories, let him boast and glory in the Lord.”

So I would ask the big room full of hippies if anyone there would qualify as being:    foolish, weak, insignificant, base, despised and nothings?  Their loud unified affirmation was a big YES !!!  Big humility.  And the Holy Spirit would show up with lots of healing and deliverance for all.  We have been about building Religious Pride & Ego rather than spiritual humility and obedience and are mostly powerless.

A good friend sent us this story.  A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of two hundred, he asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?” Hands immediately started going up. “I am going to give this $20 bill to one of you but first, let me do this.” He proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up. He then asked, “Who still wants it?” Still, hands were up in the air.  “Well,” he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground, spit on it and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. “Still want it now?” Surprisingly, hands still didn’t go down.”  “My friends, I think we’ve all learned a valuable lesson here. No matter what I did to this money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was worth twenty whole dollars no matter what I did to it.”  “Often in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, spit upon and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless.

LIFE, ETERNAL,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/6/20      From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture                 (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…David was greatly distressed…But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God…”
(1 Samuel 30:6, ESV)

Strengthen Yourself
Thirteen years after David was anointed to be the next king of Israel, he was still living as a fugitive from King Saul. Then one day, he and his six hundred men came home and found their city had been burned, their possessions taken, and their families taken captive. It was the worst defeat of David’s life. He and his men wept until they could not weep anymore. He was tempted to think, God, I’ve been faithful year after year. This is the final straw.  But David made a decision: “I am not allowing this discouragement to stay. I am strong in the Lord. I am His anointed.” You can talk yourself into defeat or into victory. When you speak the right way, strength comes, courage comes, vision comes, healing comes. Turn the discouragement around and say, “Yes, this is tough, but I am strong in the Lord. No weapon formed against me will prosper.” Strengthen yourself in the Lord.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that the power of Your life in me is greater than the greatest force that can ever come against me. Thank You that I can put discouragement behind me and stir up my faith. I believe that no weapon that is formed against me will prosper. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Comments:

We all have days that are good and productive.  And we have days where bed would have been a better option.    Sometime it is hormones, sometimes we did something stupid and regret it.  Sometime it just is what it is.  Sometimes a demonic attack that we did not see coming.  But most of the time when we have a bad day it is due to we have listened to the lie of the enemy as did Adam and Eve at the tree of Knowledge.   The fist temptation if the lust’s of the flesh.  The fruit looked really good to eat.  Next they were told tolled it would make them  wise, now that sounded like a good thing….  And next was the lie that they would be like God,  knowing good and evil.  So from a selfish perspective no lies were told.  The fruit was good to eat, made them wise and they then knew the difference between good and evil.   But the lie under it all was hidden as they did die spiritually.  And the world given to Adam then became the world of lucifer.  So they did
find out about good and evil even to the place of seeing one of their son’s murder the other one.  And they became wise in sorrow and it was true that they were given as promised but they were not giving all the facts in context to evaluate the facts properly.  So all the kids of the human race caught the same virus for the past 6,000 years and most of us have come to feel that what we have known is the normal way of life when it is really the end of life and the way of eternal death..

But our Creator was not content to allow us to go that way of death without also giving us an option for life.  So for the past 6,000. years very quietly and effectively HE has been creating another road through the folks who reach out to HIM and wrote down what HE said as HIS TRUTH.  God even told Eve she would have a son that would make things right.  Moses wrote about it and so did many who were sensitive to GOD.  And some have gathered those writings into a book called the Holy Bible.  So now we have the choice of staying on the road to death or finding the detour mape (the Bible) and taking the detour to LIFE.  Of course it is not going to be easy to stop walking the road with all your friends that love the death road. If you check out the LIFE detour,   your friends will quickly tell you is a stupid way to go and much too rocky and hilly for them.  But bottom line,  you are going to need to decide for yourself as it is your eternal life or your eternal death is involved.  It will be a now if you have time to make the choice.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy,    Ken<><

Worthy Brief <;
Jonah 1:14, 16 Therefore they cried out to the Lord and said, “We pray, O Lord, please do not let us perish for this man’s life, and do not charge us with innocent blood; for You, O Lord, have done as it pleased You.”  Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice to the Lord and took vows.   While most read the story of Jonah focusing on Jonah’s journey, I want to pause and examine the lives of the pagan sailors. What a journey they were on! We see the hand of God touching them providentially through Jonah’s disobedience. Talk about God bringing good from evil. Here He draws them into a desperate sea voyage and almost incidentally reveals to them the impotence of their gods, who have no power whatsoever to stop the deadly storm. In their total helplessness the God of Heaven then introduces Himself through his runaway prophet. And suddenly, the sailors are crying out to YHVH.  They are not crying out to their gods any longer – but now are crying to the true God of Israel.  And God performs a miracle for them, when Jonah is tossed into the sea, the storm suddenly calmed… and the amazing miracle evokes what sounds like prophesying, as they offer sacrifices and vows in worship to YHVH. “For You, O Lord, have done as you pleased!” The whole crew is converted. So, while Jonah is fish food – there’s a revival happening on board.   And now these wonder struck sailors have quite a fish story to tell in all their subsequent travels concerning the wayward prophet who disappeared beneath the waves as his God stilled the perfect storm. And the Lord has a boat full of newborn missionaries heading to Tarshish…

Iran has warned Israel and other “foes” against “hostile actions” after an explosion and fire damaged the Natanz nuclear complex.    The U.S. economy added 4.8 million jobs in June as it struggles to recover from the business closures forced by the coronavirus pandemic, the government reported Thursday, even as it said another 1.4 million laid-off workers filed for unemployment benefits last week.   Activists are planning major protests and demonstrations in Washington DC over Independence Day weekend, the Washington Examiner reports. Summing up the reason for the protests, one activist told the Examiner: “What is Independence Day to black folks? It’s a hoax.”  (Ken<>< “It gave us the rights of free speech, worship and assemble and the ability to protect ourselves from tyranny among other things.  Socialists use social ruptures for their own agenda to bring a nation into the slavery of the few. ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of me and God,    John 3:14-18

VICTORY       “WORTH CONSIDERING”     7/3/20      From Ken<><
Today’s Scripture
“…The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes…”  (Deuteronomy 1:30, NIV)

He Goes before You
The Israelites had been freed from slavery and were on their way to the Promised Land. They had all kinds of enemy nations surrounding them and no military equipment or training. Now they were out in the heat of the desert without water and food sources. They felt overwhelmed, outnumbered, and inadequate. In the natural, they didn’t have a chance. But God spoke today’s Scripture to them. They had seen God part the Red Sea and destroy Pharaoh and his army.
You may feel that the odds are against you. But God is saying to you what He said to them, “I’m going before you, and I’m fighting for you.” Whatever is trying to stop you is no match for our God. One touch of His favor and He’ll turn that Red Sea into dry ground. You’re not going to have to struggle and fight. It may look intimidating, like it’s never going to change, but don’t worry. God is going to do something extraordinary.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that You are the Almighty God who goes before me and fights for me. Thank You for all the great things You have done for me and for all the extraordinary victories that You are about to bring me through. I believe that this is a new day of Your favor. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Thoughts,
Yes,  we all enjoy a Romans 8 VICTORY.  Love sings with Jesus prevails are words from an old song I love:   Charity.    By Kenn Gullliksen
Take some time to kick back and allow the thought behind the words to sink in.  Worth It…

Even in the very little things the enemy waits for us with the fowler’s net to try to make us useless for our KING.  Yesterday a guy was by who in the past had stolen tools from me,  holds me in disrespect and lies without conscience.   I am trying to help him find Jesus.  He borrowed my favorite tool, a buck knife to do a little job for my wife and latter I realized he had not returned it.  The enemy pounded me that evening about how he had stolen it, trying to get me into a negative attitude and to call him on it.  Late last night the Holy Spirit reminded me that I had not checked the job site before I went to sleep.  This morning I was reminded and went out and checked the area and found it in the dirt next to an old board and hard to spot.  So I was praising the Lord this morning that I had not picked up an attitude and did something unloving and stupid that further divided this guy for our Lord’s Kingdom.  For as a Christian what we do does immediately reflect on Christ Jesus our LORD.   If the world sees any pride or disobedience in us, they blame GOD.  The World thinks God is responsible for the mess down here on earth.  But God put Adam in charge and Adam gave the world back to lucifer by joining him in pride and rebellion.   We in turn were born the dead children of Adam and man is responsible for the condition of the world.  But God does not want robots He wants children who are like HIM.  So he provides the means for us to choose light, humility, obedience and re-birth in Christ Jesus as LORD.   And allows each of us the choice of our own eternity either light with Him or alone in darkness for all eternity.  Our souls have been created eternal so the only choice is placement.  A new eternal body with HIM or no body and darkness alone.  The only reason that I have 5 senses is my soul now has the temporary use of a body created and borrowed from God.  Think about it.  Will God in eternity still create a body for those who reject HIM?   Think about it.   It will set you on fire to help save others whose souls are headed into darkness, alone, for eternity by their foolish choices.

If we don’t have the LORD’S victory it is usually due to some form of flesh that we have refused to agree with the Holy Spirit as to the danger.  We compromise, Rationalize and try to bring it along with us into HIS Kingdom and get stopped at the gate prior to securing a victory. So if we really want victory in Christ Jesus we will have to learn to see sin as it is seen and evaluated through the Word of God.  Our Great Creator is not going to allow any form of sin to enter into HIS coming Kingdom of Righteousness.  His new Kingdom will be a Kingdom of Righteousness just read the last chapter of the Revelation of Christ Jesus.  In our generation the space between good and bad has dissappeared and the good and bad is being merged to all is grey with no accountability in eternity.  Heaven and Hell are being replaced by socialistic atheism where there is no accountability.  So our children can see no real issues with sin or even murder at all.  As what difference will it make.  So without an eternal God Vision our children are perishing.  Here is a prayer song concerning the restoration of HIS VISION.   Enjoy….

Rom.8:37-39 “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. 38 For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Yours, In HIS great Love and wonderful Grace and Mercy.   Ken<><

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me,   John 3:14-18

     “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/2/20      From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture

“…Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results…”  (James 5:16, NLT)

Pray for Others

It’s good to pray and ask God to help you with every need, but don’t stop there. Today’s Scripture tells us to pray for one another. You have the ability to help someone else reach their destiny. There are people God has put in your life who won’t become all they were created to be without you praying. They don’t have the faith to accomplish their dreams, they won’t break the addiction, they won’t overcome the challenge without you stepping up and asking God to help them.  Prayer moves the hands that rule the world. Prayer causes the God who created the universe to make things happen that we couldn’t make happen. When you pray, all of heaven comes to attention and the angels go to work. Chains of depression, sickness, and loneliness that have held others back begin to loosen. It may not happen overnight, but your prayers have great power and will produce wonderful results.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that when I pray, it says that my prayers come up before Your throne as incense and You listen. Teach me to pray powerful prayers that produce wonderful results for the people whom You’ve brought into my life. I will lift them up. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Comments:
The scripture quoted in James is far more impacting that the NLT translation.   The Amplified:
“And the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  The K. .J. translation is: “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”  So what does the Greek say: It does not have the verb so leaves it up to the reader to figure out.  But it does include prayer, in faith,  restore ,sick and LORD raise and forgive.
James does add 5:16 “ Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].   Amplified Translation

So the key to answered prayer as per James (who grew up with Jesus as a son of Mary and Joseph) is as follows: Be on Holy Ground, no unconfessed sin.  Be in FAITH.  (That is to have the heart feeling that healing shall happen.   Not one of those prayers, “ Oh God, if it be your will please heal brother George or ??”  And further to be consistent.  We tend to grow in faith as we pray and are victorious.  We tend to loose what little faith we have if nothing happens.

I often use the concept of batteries.  Each one of us has a capacity for a certain charge.  Sometimes we are fully charged and some times not.  The Bible teaches that we can keep fully charged as we ingest God’s Truth.  John 17,  (whole chapter)     20 “I do not pray for these alone [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for [all] those who [will ever] believe and trust in Me through their message, 21 that they all may be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe [without any doubt] that You sent Me.  22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one;

Notice here the wording very carefully in verse 22    “May be one”….  That the glory (POWER) is made available through our unity.  Being of one mind and one spirit connected together.  So when our little battery is correctly connected to every other little battery (The They and We) then the voltage and amps go up in order to be able to do more good stuff for our KING.  Eph. 4:11-16 follows  the same thought concerning the compacting of the “Living Stones” in order to see Jesus.    ( Please Study the Following. )

Ephesians 4:11-16 Amplified Bible (AMP) And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], 12 [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; 13 until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. 14 So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit]. 15 But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ. 16 From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up [a]in [unselfish] love.  Amplified Bible really gets the point across.  A divided house can not stand.

Christians are in God’s earthly school of learning humility, obedience and unity, are you skipping HIS classes ?

Yours, in HIS great Love and Wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<><

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me,    John 3:14-18

FEAR & GOSPEL,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/1/20   (Half of 2020 now gone.)

Today’s Scripture
(Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…None of these things move me…”  (Acts 20:24, NKJV)

Don’t Be Moved
The apostle Paul went through all kinds of unfair situations. He was falsely accused of crimes, beaten with rods, lied about, put in prison, and shipwrecked. In Acts 20, he gives us the secret of living a victorious life: “None of these things move me.” He was saying, “Yes, there were setbacks and disappointments, but I didn’t lose my joy. God is still on the throne. Even being put in prison gave me the opportunity to write about half of the books of the New Testament.”

There’s always something trying to move us, to pull us out of peace, to pull us out of rest. Are you allowing these things to move you? You can’t pray them away. These are tests we all have to pass. Jesus said, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled.” He said troubles will be there, but you don’t have to be moved by them. Stay in peace. Quit letting these things ruin your day.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that I don’t have to be moved by the tests and troubles I face because I know that You are still on the throne. My faith and trust are in You and Your mighty power at work in my life. I declare that You will work Your good plan for my future. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Corner:
Of course in Acts the context concerns fear: In verses 20:20-25 Paul is sharing that HIS commitment concerning the life giving message of the Gospel as more important than even his very life.   There is a doctrine going around that teaches that if anyone is supposed to be saved that they will,  and we don’t need to be concerned about it.  Sort of like predestination without foreknowledge.  Or that God has the total say over who is saved and who is not.    That would mean that our free will is a farce and that we are just a bunch of robots.  Some created for living with God and the rest fitted for destruction in eternal darkness.  Of course my question would be, ???  Why in the world did God bother to create a bunch of robots that would wreck everything in running amiss only to later banish them into eternal darkness???   And why would Christ Jesus  write in Rev.22::17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, come.  And let him that heareth say, Come.  And let him that is athirst say come.  And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

So in Context with the New Testament it appears to me that it is the responsibility of Christians who really love Jesus are to be responsible for sharing the message of Salvation in word, thought and deed to all who will listen.  If you really believe what Jesus taught about Heaven and Hell you have a serious obligation to share the truth that you have been freely given.  Jesus prayed about us in John 17:20 as follows: “20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,  21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.  22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:  23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.  24 Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.  25 O just and righteous Father, although the world has not known You and has failed to recognize You and has never acknowledged You, I have known You [continually]; and these men understand and know that You have sent Me.  26 I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very [a]Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them.

In the Psalms 119:9-13 “How shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed and keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to it].  10 With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; Oh, let me not wander or step aside [either in ignorance or willfully] from Your commandments.  11 Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You.  12 Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your statutes.  13 With my lips have I declared and recounted all the ordinances of Your mouth.

How could anyone be silent in this world of pain, suffering, sin and death and not share the Gospel of life, peace, joy and the forgiveness freely offered by the mercy of God?  In Psalm 107:1-2 David is recorded as writing: “O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!  2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has delivered from the hand of the adversary,

So if you are not sharing Jesus, I am deeply concerned that you may not really have HIS life.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy,   Ken<><
