FIRE & DARKNESS

FIRE & DARKNESS        “WORTH CONSIDERING”    11/15/21    From Ken<><

There is an interesting verse in Luke 3:16,   “John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:”

Actually the Greek Word “baptize.”    “There was a reason that the words for baptism were transliterated. Several centuries ago when the Bible was first translated into English in Great Britain, the Anglican Church in Britain practiced sprinkling as its mode of baptism.  The translators of the Bible could have gotten themselves into a great deal of trouble if they had translated this Greek word into English. Why? Because the word literally translates “to dip, plunge or immerse.” It is used in secular Greek of dyeing a garment, immersing it so that it is thoroughly covered. It is also used to describe a boat that has sunk beneath the water.  The meaning of the word is clear, but the translators did not wish to come into conflict with the beliefs of the Church of England, so they decided not to translate it, but transliterated it instead.

So in Luke 3:16?, what was John trying to tell us concerning being baptized by fire.   To be immersed or saturated by fire?   Some have thought John was considering hell?   Some have thought it was out of Ezek.28:18, and Acts 2:3 & Heb.1:7.   But last night it seemed to me in prayer that perhaps it was referring to our Creator’s original vision to make man in HIS image as with Jesus in the Resurrection in Rev.1:14-16?  “And HIS countenance was aw the sun shineth in his strength.”

The way that I see it is that we are in a process of sanctification if headed into the Rapture and 1st Resurrection and the transition that our Creator has designed for those who really make Jesus LORD is to ultimately make us to be like HIM.  Rom. 8:29,   “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”  So in the Revelation we get a preview of God’s plan for us if we will allow it to happen as nothing is manipulated or forced, it all works by faith and freewill.  You can spend your life doing anything that you want to.   But only those whose commitment is 100% for Jesus and the Kingdom of God will receive God’s wonderful grace and mercy to find their way into HIS Eternal Family with the New Heavens and the New Earth.

In 2 Cor. 5:20 it appears we are supposed to be Ambassadors representing the Kingdom of Heaven in our lost world of darkness.  And in Rev. 1:6 we are to be made into kings and priests unto God as also in Rev. 5:10.   So in Christ Jesus, by the Holy Spirit we are in training to became Ambassador, Kings & Priests unto our GOD & Creator.  And further that the Church is to become without Spot, Wrinkle or Blemish, seems to me, before we get to go home?  Eph.5:27.”  How much of our time are we spending to find out how to be ready.   In Matt. 25:1 Jesus tell us that 50% of those called to go to the union were rejected because they were not ready.  And the door was closed while they were shopping and they were rejected and not let in.

So this general consensus of being comfortable in a so called traditional church,  while on earth the harvest is ripe and ready for the harvest is not good rational thinking.  So do you really understand the amount of change we need to embrace to become like Jesus and be ready to enjoy the jump to light speed in the Rapture?  Are you really in the school of humility and obedience to find out how to change to become like Jesus?  Or are you into your own thing?

So Personal Notes in my e-mails over the last few days…..
My internet here runs through a phone line,  but there is fiber optics now in HOVE.     Makes me almost want to move.   Makes me almost want to sell this place.   But when the 2nd great depression hits I really don’t want to be in HOVE either?   It is going to be one big mess and a lot worse than in 1929.    Our nation has been broke for many years now with no balanced budget nor term limitations.  And has just been just kicking the debt can down the road until now there is no road left.   Socialism and very stupid and never delivers what it promises.  And if voted in only makes slaves of the workers so that the elite can live high and control everyone.

Aloha Kennedy Brown,  Your book “Exiting the Sunday Church” arrived this morning 11/14, from Amazon,  so will start exploring your “Exiting” of the counterfeit, theater, watered down so called traditional church.  I am pretty sure we are on the same page but seems that the need is to gather the real Church together as a chapter 29 in Acts so that the fire can be re-kindle the ultimate Church of Christ Jesus that is without spot, wrinkle or blemish.  Got through the 1st Chapter,  an amazing book so far….   Blessings,  Ken

Seems to me HIS REAL CHURCH today is much like starting a fire in a rain storm.   Got to find some dry space,  then kindling that is dry,  a spark from the Holy Spirit with the Breath and Truth of God.  Then a small fire, lots of smoke and carefully feed dry combustible materials until a good hot fire is made.  Then those folks in the Rev. 17 & 18:4…. will come, when hot, to get dried out and warm;  Like Saul who became Paul due to the hot fire of the Early Church and especially Stephen.  The Bride of Christ goes home in perfection without spot, wrinkle or blemish as a match for her LORD.   Every part fitly joined and compacted as the “Rod of Iron” in the hands of the LORD for bringing the full will of God into all of HIS Creation.

Actually the ultimate end of lucifer and his minions,  is the Lake of Fire for eternity at the end of the LORD’S 1,000 year Kingdom on earth.   And I see this as perhaps like a black hole securing lucifer,  demons plus the lost souls of man without bodies but still with a total recall of the life lived and opportunities rejected and finding no place of repentance or restoration.   And finding themselves utterly alone for eternity.  This being the fires of torment.  All souls were/are created to be eternal, only our body is temporal due to Adam’s pride and rebellion.   If,  no new body when this one dies, then no way to communicate or to experience anything.  Seems our loving Creator seems only to tell us a about the creation of new eternal bodies for those in Christ Jesus who desire to live in righteousness and obedience to Jesus as LORD.   Why would our Creator create new bodies for the lost as in consideration of what they have done with planet earth and to Jesus.  Even the saved will only be admitted into Heaven due to the forgiveness and redemption as found through Christ Jesus as their LORD.  If any soul on earth walks in the light that they have and wants more, God will send it to them.  Rom. 1:18….  Rev. 22:17

VISION

Aloha Saints, Family & Friends,  beloved of Jesus and me,   John 3:16

VISION      “WORTH CONSIDERING”   11/12/21    From Ken<>< ken@trinity-aloha.org

In my life, I have learned that GOD’s VISION of HIS Kingdom must be restored often in my life,  otherwise I tend to drift back into the world.    Yours in HIS great Love and Wonderful Grace and Mercy,   Ken<><   ( www.OhanaChurch.Life )

“Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God].”  Proverbs 28:19.    “Then the Lord said to me, “The [counterfeit] prophets are prophesying lies in My Name. I have neither sent them nor authorized them nor spoken to them. They are prophesying to you made-up visions [pretending to call forth responses from handmade gods], a worthless divination and the deceit of their own mind.”  Jeremiah 14:14.      “Did you not see (make up) a false vision and speak a lying divination when you said, ‘The Lord declares,’ but it is not I who have spoken?”  Ezek. 13.7.
“Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is for you and your children and for all who are far away [including the Gentiles], as many as the Lord our God calls to Himself.” 40 And Peter solemnly testified and continued to admonish and urge them with many more words, saying, “[d] Be saved from this crooked and unjust generation!” 41 So then, those who accepted his message were baptized; and on that day about [e] 3,000 souls were added [to the body of believers]. 42 They were continually and faithfully devoting themselves to the instruction of the apostles, and to fellowship, to [f] eating meals together and to prayers.43 A sense of awe was felt by [g] everyone, and many wonders and signs (attesting miracles) were taking place through the apostles.”   Acts 2:38-43.

So don’t you wonder what happened to the miracles in the beginning of the Church.  Certainly there are those and even ourselves that could use a bit of God’s Glory (power) for some of the painful issues in our lives.   Charles (our handyman) was looking for fasteners in my junk pile today and found a Bible under a bunch of nails opened to Chapter 34:8- and it said: “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good;  How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him.  O [reverently] fear the Lord, you His saints (believers, holy ones); For to those who fear Him there is no want.  The young lions lack [food] and grow hungry,  But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.  Come, you children, listen to me;  I will teach you to fear the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience].  Who is the man who desires life And loves many days, that he may see good?  Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.  Turn away from evil and do good;  Seek peace and pursue it.  The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous [those with moral courage and spiritual integrity] And His ears are open to their cry.  The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.  When the righteous cry [for help], the Lord hears And rescues them from all their distress and troubles.  The Lord is near to the heartbroken And He saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin).”  Psalms 34:8- 18.

With most of us, If we are not reminded of a vision, eventually,  it drops from our top line of interest and by & by is totally forgotten.  So if we misplace the Vision from God as real then we loose interest in our eternal home and we tend to replace it with what we have here as home.   And that can eventually bottom out with us dying in a crack house from an O.D. or worse.   Often I say to myself, “But for the Grace (Power) of God, there go I.”

So what is the Vision for a Christian that we need to keep polished up so we avoid the sin and the love of this world?   For me, it is going back to Rev. 21:1 often, “ Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away (vanished), and there is no longer any [a] sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, arrayed like a bride adorned for her husband; 3 and then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [b] [as their God,] 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the [c] former order of things has passed away.5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy].” 6 And He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I will give [water] from the fountain of the water of life without cost. 7 [d] He who overcomes [the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. 8 But as for the cowards and unbelieving and abominable [who are devoid of character and personal integrity and practice or tolerate immorality], and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs], and idolaters and occultists [who practice and teach false religions], and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth], their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”   The Vision, for me, is energizing and the warning for me is real.

GOD’S POWER

Aloha Saints, Family & Friends,  beloved of Jesus and me,   John 3:16

GOD’S   POWER      ‘WORTH CONSIDERING”     11/11/21   From Ken Smith<><

Often we wonder why there is so little evidence of God’s, Book of Acts,  Power in the Church today, 2 Tim.3:5.   Apostle Paul warned us that if we modified the Word of God to feel more comfortable this would happen.  And if we compromises the Truth of the Word of God in order to feel comfortable in just going to heaven it would not work.   Those who feel comfortable should do a study in Isa. 28:9-20 and truly check out your foundations.  You may be deceiving yourself and not be a Christian at all, John 14:20-21, “On that day [when that time comes] you will know for yourselves that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you. 21 The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him].   Do you really know HIS Commandments and keep them?   Faith is the key to the door, but commandments in faith are the rooms in the house.   Salvation is reserved for those who walk in Biblical Faith until their final graduation.

Yours in HIS great love on Vet. Day in HIS wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<><

BIRTH of a REVIVALIST  by Gram Carole
(For meat Christians only, comfortable milk Christians should just delete.)

Over the past year the Lord has lead me to read about many of the great saints and ministers of the past, from the beginning of the Church until now.   Some of the books jumped out at me in strange and unusual places:  Flea markets, second-hand stores, yard sales down dusty, graveled roads, some in book stores and some I had to order.

For the first time, some of these mighty men and women of God have come alive unto me and are now real.  Marie Woodworth Etter, Smith Wigglesworth, Saint Teresa, Brother Lake, and many others who are largely unknown, yet awesome saints.  George and I are amazed by the common threads which seem to tie all together:  Absolute faith in Jesus Christ, His Atonement, His Word, and their ability to fully grasp His meaning, embrace Him entirely and project their revelation to others.  May I share a chapter from one who was unknown to me, but whom you may be aware of?

His name is J.W. Byers and was a wonderful minister here in America during the late 1800’s and
early 1900’s, and I quote:     “In one of these experiences in 1893 in the city of Los Angeles,
California, I was shut away from the world, on my face before God, crying for more authority and power to cope with the tremendous powers of darkness in that city, at that time manifested through Spiritualism.  The Devil was exulting through a medium who claimed to heal diseases, and the people were receiving the abominable imposition.  A holy jealousy for the truth arose in my heart.  I saw as never before, how the church was being obscured by the multiplied counterfeits of Satan.  We were professing to have the light of the gospel, but, oh, how dimly it
was shining!  The clouds of deception from the pit of hell were darkening the world, and only here and there a flickering light that could be seen in the gloom and darkness.  This was a vision
which saddened me beyond my power to endure.  Oh, how my inmost soul mourned and wailed.  This terrible pressure laid me low in the dust.  Could the precious cause for which my Savior
died and for which my life was being sacrificed daily, be thus bleeding as in the jaws of a ferocious lion?

“In the depths of this sad musing with intense desire, my heart was uplifted to God in prayer for the gift of healing.  Oh, that the church might be upon that plane of power and authority where the apostles lived, when the glorious light of truth shone out with heavenly glory with such power that it dispelled the gloom and darkness of Satan.  Could not that same light now, in this awful age, do the same? and instead of the church being a helpless prey in the mouth of the lion, could she not rise in the strength of Jehovah and beard the ferocious monster, and with the mighty sword of truth make -him- the prey?

“The gifts of healing with apostolic power could alone supply the cry of my soul, and without some assurance of this I could never arise from my face.     “On that spot a solemn scene was presented to my vision.  I saw the apostles and primitive saints at the stake; their blood was
flowing, and burning flames were covering their bodies.  I heard in plain words this question to me:  “Are you willing to pay this price?” I was asking for the gifts of healing and apostolic power, and here was the price–could I pay it?  There was a sinking within me for a moment, and then as if I was shedding my life’s blood, I looked up with an eternal “Yes, Lord.”  From that moment my prayer was turned to praise.  The overwhelming assurance was wonderful.  The Holy Spirit witnessed to my soul that these gifts were in the church,  and that I might have a share in the exercise of the same, to labor and to suffer in this capacity, to bear the reproaches and persecutions which would necessarily follow.”

Needless to say,  dear Brother Byers went on to fulfill an amazing healing and deliverance ministry.  His opponents were not worldly souls, but, alas, other pastors who gave their parishioners harsh retorts and warnings about him.     How my heart has hungered to see Jesus elevated to His rightful place in the Church and in me, thus manifested to the world as
He truly is: Altogether Wonderful, All-sufficient, All-powerful, Almighty God!  How I abhor this flesh which prevents Him from expressing Himself in fullness.

The Lord has persuaded me that before signs and wonders can follow the Word being preached, He is going to have to clarify and cleanse the Word being preached.   Many claim to have the Truth, the Whole Truth and nothing but the Truth, but for the most part, the confirmation of the Lord is not abundant. The Truth must be preached and practiced without compromise or thought of consequences.  We must not continue to form a doctrine or a religion out of glimmers of revelation He gives.  This taints the Word and denigrates it. Those who will dare to press upstream and proclaim the Revelation He gives, releasing it completely, will receive more Revelation.  Those who continue to please men by compromise, profusely adding their own interpretations to clarify it, will lose what little Truth they have.  “Ever learning, yet never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth.”     However, He will have a people who will proclaim His Truth with holy boldness…. regardless of the “price”

RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT

Aloha Saints, Family & Friends,   Beloved of Jesus and me,    John 3:16,   12:24-26,   17:20-24…..

RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT        “Worth Considering”   11/8/21     From  Ken Smith<><

JUDGMENT is coming, are you ready?
Isaiah 51:5 My righteousness is near; My salvation is gone forth, and My arm shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on My arm they will trust.
John 5:22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
Revelation 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

When we evaluate an action by someone, the defense is often as quoted as by Jesus, “Judge not, lest ye  be judged.”  Actually in the AMP this thought is more clearly shared as: ““Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly].  Matt. 7:1.  and goes on to teach us:   For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment],  judgment will be measured to you.”  Matt. 7:2

Righteous Judgement is very important in life otherwise we are blind as to good or bad, heaven or hell.  Without some help from God we are easily manipulated and trashed and bound by poor decisions (judgements.)  Jesus teaches on the as in John 3:19: “Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because [a] he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. 19 This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the [b] darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and does not come to the Light [ but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned.”   So first of all we need to Judge as to the light that Jesus came to share as really being from our Creator.  And if so, than to become humble and obedient in following that light in real Godly Truth and Love.   If not, then we will stand before God in the final judgment of all things with our lives exposed in detail on the big screen of heaven for all to see as to whether we were righteous in our judgements and actions according to the commandments of God and not according to the ones we have made up for ourselves.   So having righteous judgement according to God’s definition is imperative.  In John 5:22, Jesus teaches us: “For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment [that is, the prerogative of judging] to the Son [placing it entirely into His hands],” And in John 5:20: “I can do nothing on my own initiative or authority. Just as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just (fair, righteous, unbiased), because I do not seek My own will, but only the will of Him who sent Me.”  John 7:24, “Do not judge by appearance [superficially and arrogantly], but judge fairly and righteously.”

So ever time we judge a situation in life or another person we need to think first, “Is this to help them or is this to destroy them?    Am I really seeking what is best for them or what will make me look good and hurt them?   In 1 Cor.6:2-4  Apostle Paul gives a good teaching on this.  “Do you not know that the saints (God’s people) will [one day] judge the world? If the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent [b] to try trivial (insignificant, petty) cases? 3 Do you not know that we [believers] will judge angels? How much more then [as to] matters of this life? 4 So if you have lawsuits dealing with matters of this life, are you appointing those as judges [to hear disputes] who are of no account in the church?   So it would seem that we should be in practice today to come up with righteous judgements.

We are so use to trashing someone behind their back with gossip and slander making their live more difficult in order to try to balance out what we feel they have done to us.  Or simply to make ourselves feel better or to elevate ourselves in the eyes of someone else.  Of the 7 deadly sins to sow discord is the 7th most deadly.  So gossip and slander is a deadly sin as per Prov. 6:14 & Prov. 6:19.

In Matt. 18:15-18, Jesus teaches us how to deal with these kind of offenses.  “If your brother sins [d], go and show him his fault in private; if he listens and pays attention to you, you have won back your brother. 16 But if he does not listen, take along with you one or two others, so that every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses. 17 If he pays no attention to them [refusing to listen and obey], tell it to the [e] church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile (unbeliever) and a tax collector. 18 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth [f] shall have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth [g] shall have [already] been loosed in heaven.

So if you are a Christian, a follower of Jesus as LORD, then the above is the only option for dealing with people in the Church who profess to be a Christian.   Otherwise, you need to ask the Holy Spirit what to do in the situation.  But always be in a spirit of restoration and forgiveness as that is what Jesus came to do and as Christians we are to follow HIS example.   Sometimes HE rebuked, reproved and exhorted with long suffering and doctrine.  And sometimes HE spoke to give edification, exhortation and comfort.   So to keep the unity of the faith in the bond of peace there are  no short cuts concerning communications.  Shunning is the very last resort.  To lose faith that there can be loving unity in the Truth of God and to go in a different way and is not at all Christian.   Jesus came to set us free of rejection and pride and the things that make for disunity.  To agree to disagree goes further into darkness.   Only God Truth in Loving Faith sets us truly free to love one another in holiness with a whole heart in true unity.  And only in this kind of unity can we enjoy living in the Kingdom of God while on earth.  “For if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. 14 For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are children of God. 15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as children [the Spirit producing adaption] by which we [joyfully] cry, “ [a] Abba! Father!”

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace & Mercy, Ken<>< www.OhanaChurch.Life

WORK

Aloha Saints, Family & Friends,  beloved of God and me,    John 3:16

WORK         “WORTH CONSIDERING”     11/6/21   From Ken Smith<><

For some, the word,  work, is not a pleasant thought.   However, most of my life, I have been fortunate in enjoying what work I did.  It was work, sweat, details, organization but when the project or house was completed there was a sense of satisfaction that was above and beyond getting paid for the results.  When in Jr. High and High School I took drafting classes and in my Junior year of High School I was given a job of drawing house plans for a very patient contractor for $1.25 per hour.   My work was far from professional but usable.  And it went on from there to where I was supporting a family of 6 as a Sr. Engineering Draftsman for Santa Ana County Food Control, 1958, CA. and making about $700. per month.  Then I left that job and went into door to door new home sales and then in 1961 started my own business in house building in Oregon and went on  to building about 100 houses per year and supporting a family of then 10, me , wife and 8 kids and living the American dream.

I was pretty much of a good normal church goer with my family getting the “Father’s  Day” of the year each year for a while.  But in 1967 a painter gave me a bid on my home, 7 bedrooms, 4 baths that had 36 paneled solid doors that needed staining and 3 coats of finish plus the inside and outside of the house and the barn on the outside.  So Marvin gave me a bid on the work and worked very hard with the painting and did a 1st class job.  But then I found that he would spend about half of his time talking to me about the Bible and me being baptized in the Holy Spirit.  My church did not agree and I had even taught against it but he was so patient and loving that I listened.  He was pres. for the local F.G.B.M.F.I.

As I write this I realized Marvin was just walking out, in obedience, the scripture that says, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and HIS Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.”  It is because of Jesus and HIS work on the cross that really changes us.   But Marvin was also part of the investment of loving truth that changed my life.   So work,  though caused by sin,  is really helpful in getting us back on track in humility and obedience.  You see, if we live with God in heaven it will not be on cloud 9 with a harp.  There is much that our Creator wants us to learn to do here in filling His creation with HIS LOVE.  So the requirement of us learning the humility to be able learn and obedience to get a  job done are essential.  Therefore, our temporary existence on earth is to see if we will choose to learn  in humility what God has given us through HIS prophets and also to walk it out into perfection or not,  Eph, 4:11.

So lets look at “WORK” in the Holy Scriptures.  Lets start with James the son of Mary and Joseph who grew up watching Jesus as his older sibling.   In the AMP there are 663 work verses concerning work to consider for a better understanding on the subject.

James 2:14  “What is the benefit, my fellow believers, if someone claims to have faith but has no [good] works [as evidence]? Can that [kind of] faith save him? [No, a mere claim of faith is not sufficient—genuine faith produces good works.]”   James 2:18, “But someone may say, “You [claim to] have faith and I have [good] works; show me your [alleged] faith without the works [if you can], and I will show you my faith by my works [that is, by what I do].”   “ But are you willing to recognize, you foolish [spiritually shallow] person, that faith without [good] works is useless?” James 2:24, “You see that a man (believer) is justified by works and not by faith alone [that is, by acts of obedience a born-again believer reveals his faith].”  James 2:26, “ For just as the [human] body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works [of obedience] is also dead.”   So what kind of “WORK” is “GOOD WORKS ?”

1.         As under the curse for learning humility & obedience as in Adam for survival.  Gen.3:18  “Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you;  And you shall eat the plants of the field. 19   “By the sweat of your face You will eat bread Until you return to the ground, For from it you were taken;  For you are dust, And to dust you shall return.”  2 Thess. 3:8.
nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we worked night and day [to pay our own way] so that we would not be a financial burden on any of you [for our support]; ‘ 2 Thess. 3:10 “”For even while we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.”

2.    As in what Jesus taught as HIS work for the Kingdom of God for us also to learn to do.
Col. 3:22. “Servants, in everything obey those who are your masters on earth, not only with external service, as those who merely please people, but with sincerity of heart because of your fear (respect) of the Lord. 23 Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve.”  “John3:21,  But whoever practices truth [and does what is right—morally, ethically, spiritually] comes to the Light, so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—accomplished in God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence on Him].”   “ John 6:27, “But whoever practices truth [and does what is right—morally, ethically, spiritually] comes to the Light, so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—accomplished in God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence on Him].”  “John 6:29, Jesus answered, “This is the work of God: that you believe [adhere to, trust in, rely on, and have faith] in the One whom He has sent.”

So we have been created in a world of needing to work to provide for our food. And also to teach us humility and obedience in order to be successful in finding God. As the Scriptures also teach: 1 Tim. 5:8, “7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.  8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.   As for me, I started at 13 in earning my own money selling magazine from door to door and also fish that I caught and cleaned and Iced, also door to door.  In college I had my own plant food mfg. Co. and made it and sold it door to door.  Work is not a curse, It was created because of man rebellion, so God made us go to work to learn to enjoy the feeling of being productive and self supporting.  At 89, I will never get any return out of what I am doing physically.  But I do what I do for my LORD with the possibility of helping others find their way into HIS Kingdom of love and light.  My hope for the TrueVine Minifarm is to become a light on the hill.  To help those interested in finding the Kingdom of God in righteousness.

HEART FAITH HEALING 2     “WORTH CONSIDERING”   11/1/21   by Ken<><

A very dear, old friend and brother in Christ Jesus, today, sent me a reminder concerning Repentance as follows:

Ken. You might add to your list God’s timing. I spent four months in intense pain and acute anxiety in 2017.   Prayed intently, literally day and night, as I also couldn’t sleep. But during that time I felt God’s love and presence. I ultimately repented of four major areas of sin. Some going back over 60 years. Then came my healing. God said it was in His timing. During the process He touched me sovereignty several times, keeping me from suicide and within the confines of tolerable.    ( I wrote back as follows: )   Excellent,  Thank you,   misplaced the repentance part….   I did go through a whole month at one time between life and death.  It was a  considerable time for me to think about such things in repentance….   But 4 months,  WOW !!!!   As for God’s Timing,  if the God conditions for healing exist I feel that healing is in the now… we are already healed in Jesus.   It is a done deal,  but often we are yet to take off our shoes and find the Holy Ground.   Like Paul and his thorn,  later as he met the conditions and was healed.  But I do wonder about Timothy and his “Oft  Infirmities,” however.  Perhaps it was bad water?  Be Blessed in your day and your efforts for our KING and again, I do appreciate your comments.

So with this “Worth Considering” it is not meant to pontificate but in God’s Love it is written to find more of God’s Truth so that we can enjoy more of God’s Freedom in loving unity.  Truth is far more important than winning any debate.  Walking in God’s Truth always gives us more freedom to serve HIM.

However, it is important to find the Holy Scriptures that clearly show God’s position of truth in a doctrine or we tend to go with our emotions or some teachings that we have heard and digested that may be in error.

A good scripture to start concerning healing is Isa 53: 5, “But He was wounded for our transgressions,  He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him,  And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.” and in Isa.61:1-2, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,  Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me To bring good news to the humble and afflicted;  He has sent me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted,  To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives And freedom to prisoners, To proclaim [a] the favorable year of the Lord,  [b] And the day of vengeance and retribution of our God, To comfort all who mourn,”

So we see our God of unconditional love but HE is also limited by our heart faith and lack of humility and in us mourning for our sins or being in a state of  repentance.  The message of the greatest of the Old Testament prophets,  John the Baptist was “REPENT,” at Pentecost the first words out of Peter’s mouth was also: “Repent.”  Acts 2″38.  “And Peter said to them, “Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”  And added later in 2 Peter 3:8-10, “Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. 9 The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish with a [mighty and thunderous] roar, and the [material] elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are on it will be [a] burned up.”  John asks us to pray for folks who need to repent, “If anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not lead to death, he will pray and ask [on the believer’s behalf] and God will for him give life to those whose sin is not leading to death. There is a sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for this [kind of sin]. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death [one can repent of it and be forgiven].  We know [with confidence] that anyone born of God does not habitually sin; but He (Jesus) who was born of God [carefully] keeps and protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.  1 John 5:15-18…

The Revelation of Christ Jesus has 10 scriptures concerning repentance some of which are:
Rev. 3:18: “ I counsel you to buy from Me gold that has been heated red hot and refined by fire so that you may become truly rich; and white clothes [representing righteousness] to clothe yourself so that the shame of your nakedness will not be seen; and healing salve to put on your eyes so that you may see. 19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I rebuke and discipline [showing them their faults and instructing them]; so be enthusiastic and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will]. 20 Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me.   Rev/ 2:5, “So remember the heights from which you have fallen, and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will] and do the works you did at first [when you first knew Me]; otherwise, I will visit you and remove your lampstand  from its place—unless you repent.

So repentance includes the act of changing your mind and heart at to also change how you feel about things that God calls sin like in 2Tim. 1-5, “But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear].  For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them.  Also include, Rom.1:18-32….

HEART FAITH HEALING     “WORTH CONSIDERING’   10/31/21   From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture
A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all.   (Matthew 15:30, NLT)

Your Healing,
All through the Scripture you can see it is God’s will to heal the sick. Fourteen times in the Scripture it says that Jesus healed “all” who were sick. I can’t find one instance where Jesus turned someone away and wouldn’t heal them. He didn’t always heal the same way, but He healed them all. Isaiah 53:4 says, “Jesus carried our sickness and took our infirmities.” He already paid the price. You have to have the boldness to say, “God, I know it is Your will.” That Scripture goes on to say, “By His stripes you were healed.” Past tense. Jesus took those stripes before He was crucified. He didn’t leave anything out. He’s already done it.   You have to make the switch from “God, if You want to heal me” to “God, I know You want to heal me.” Our attitude should be, “Lord, I receive Your healing. By faith I receive what You’ve already done.” You don’t have to talk Him into it or wonder if it’s His will. Make the switch.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that wherever Jesus went He brought healing to all who came to Him. Thank You that my faith and expectancy can be settled that it is Your will to bring me healing. I will reach out and touch You by faith today for whatever I need. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts,
GOOD THOUGHTS ABOVE.  BUT not everyone was healed in Jesus’s day,  only those who came to Him in heart faith.  So why are not all Christians healed today?  So let’s hang 10 and take 5, Hawaiian Time and share about it.   First off, in the home town where Jesus grew up, they were all familiar with Jesus and his family.  And in Matthew 13:57-58 it is recorded, “And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house.   58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their dishonor and unbelief.  So we can get comfortable in our vain traditions and miss the Glory (Power) of God due to pride, fear and unbelief.

And in Acts 5: 16 it is written by Luke where all were healed that in verse 12 that the “Church” folks were all in one accord and many signs and wonders came to pass by the Holy Spirit.  So Unity, as in John 17:20-24 is also a factor in healing.   Not the agree to disagree unity,  but real solid rock bottom spiritual unity in humility and obedience.  And the unity factor as in John 17:20-24,   “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;  21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  22 And the “glory” (power) which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:  23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.  24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory (power), which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.   (God’s absolute foreknowledge saw what Jesus would elect to do in freewill prior to all of creation.  And it is the same with us,  God already knows who HIS elect are,  but we don’t. )  And remember that Glory,  as in John 2:11,  miracles and glory have the same meaning.

And further on that note, notice in Eph.4:11-16 that the 5 offices set in the Church are for the “Perfecting” of the Saints.   “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying (building) of the body of Christ:  13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Also there is the factor of personal faith as in Romans 10:17, Not many so called Christians are really into the Bible for God’s Truth.   Many make up doctrine from their emotions and feelings as to what they would like it to be and have not a clue as to what GOD really said on a subject.  “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”  Like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.  12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honorable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.”   We must understand that head understanding and heart faith are not the same at all.   As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.   Heb. 10:22, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;”

So it would seem that Divine Healing takes a personal heart faith, Bible Truth Unity plus Collective Faith Unity.   Like batteries being fully charged and connected together with all of the wiring properly connected.   So we have good and bad traditions in our churches that we need to be aware of in order to expect stand before God in HIS Righteousness as Elijah in James 5:14-18,    Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:   And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  Elias (Elijah) was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.  18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.  Jesus came so we could be healed, delivered and set free, Isa. 61:1-11.  “READ IT” It takes some things to go through the mind 20-30 times before the heart finally catches on.   If we will spend time in the Word of God and avoid vain traditions we will see the Glory of God.

At 89 now, and I am still working on getting this right in my heart. The Ideal,  120 healthy years as per Gen.6:3 and Moses.   So if we go home early it is usually due to our lack of maintenance or Bible kind of faith.  Bible faith, KNOWS!  We have been taught only to hope…..   And if we know and are healed,  then there is no harm in allowing a Dr. to certify God’s Love.

TOMORROW

TOMORROW        “WORTH CONSIDERING”     10/28/21    From Ken Smith<><

Received today from a church in Texas….
The LORD will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever.
(Psalm 138:8, NLT)

You Don’t Have to Know
When Moses led the two million Israelites out of slavery into the desert and toward the Promised Land, I can imagine them asking him, “What route are we going to take? Where are we going to get food and water? How will we protect ourselves?” Moses answered, “I don’t know.” Just because you don’t know how something is going to work out doesn’t mean God doesn’t have a plan. Moses had such a trust in God that he was comfortable not knowing. He took it one step of faith at a time.     When we’re trying to figure everything out and manipulate a solution, we’re being God. It’s very freeing when you learn this principle that it’s okay to say as Moses did, “I don’t know how it’s going to work out, but I’m at peace.” You’re taking yourself off the throne and putting God on the throne. Take the pressure off. You don’t have to know; God knows. He will work out His plan and get you to where you’re supposed to be.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that what lies ahead and is unknown to me is well known to You. I choose to rely on Your strength and Your Word to guide me step by step. I trust that You will go before me with Your plan and get me to where I’m supposed to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
While it is very true that God has a wonderful plan for our lives in our existence and creation.  But finding it is still on us.  It is on the basis of our faith that there is “Intelligent Design.  And that our Creator has the ability to count the hairs on our head and with absolute foreknowledge know exactly what you are going to do with your privilege of life from before matter was even created from HIS unlimited power.  So God has woven your decisions, even prior to your birth, into HIS plans for you.  So HE is absolutely sure of the future and those who are his,  but we, locked in time, are not, and are working it out.   He never manipulates or violates our freewill because it is the only way that LOVE can be real.  So you are totally responsible for your decisions before God.   And in the end He secures exactly what HE wanted to happen for HIS Family.

Reminds me of a vision that a person shared with me long ago.   He shared that he saw himself as a large diamond but uncut.  But it was up to him as to what happens to his stone.  Whether he cared for it or tossed it at tin cans.   And even though a diamond is hard it can easily be chipped and damaged.  That is the reason that most diamonds are very small.   As each time it is thrown or tossed a diamond can chip and the stone becomes smaller and limits the size of the  stone for the final cutting and polishing to bring out the glory its reflective beauty.  So it is best if our stone is submitted to our creator for safe keeping as soon as possible so as to experience less damage.  Jesus came to teach us these facts.   We can do nothing about yesterday, and we can not live in tomorrow as it is not here.  But we do have today to send up faithful prayers for God’s Grace to help us through this one day and offer back the Life that God has given us for HIS glory an as a beautiful addition to HIS Eternal Kingdom Family of Righteousness.

So Jesus taught us a different way to approach things Matt. 6:29-34, “  Yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his [a] magnificence (excellence, dignity, and grace) was not arrayed like one of these.  30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith?  31 Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?  32 For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all.  33 But seek ([b] aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([c] His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [d] taken together will be given you besides.  34 So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

James, (The Less) son of Mary & Joseph who grew up with Jesus teaches it this way.   James 4:12-14,  One only is the Lawgiver and Judge Who is able to save and to destroy [the One Who has the absolute power of life and death]. [But you] who are you that [you presume to] pass judgment on your neighbor?  13 Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a city and spend a year there and carry on our business and make money.  14 Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are [really] but a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears [into thin air].

So the bottom line principle is that today is the 1st day of the rest of your life.  So fill it with obedience and humility in the Word of God so you can send it on ahead into the Kingdom of God, 1 Cor.3:11-15, “  For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).  12 But if anyone builds upon the Foundation, whether it be with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,  13 The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done.  14 If the work which any person has built on this Foundation [any product of his efforts whatever] survives [this test], he will get his reward.  15 But if any person’s work is burned up [under the test], he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed] through fire.  And in Rev. 3:17-20, “For you say, I am rich; I have prospered and grown wealthy, and I am in need of nothing; and you do not realize and understand that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.  18 Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.  19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude].  20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.”

So how are your Eternal Investments doing?  You can only keep what you send ahead.  Di you make some Kingdom investments today?    Yours in HIS great Love and wonderful Grace & Mercy, Ken<><   www.OhanaChurch.Life

TRADITIONS, GOOD & BAD

TRADITIONS 10.27.21,        “WORTH CONSIDERING”   From,  Ken Smith<><

Matt. 9:16-18,   “16 And no one puts a piece of cloth that has not been shrunk on an old garment, for such a patch tears away from the garment and a worse rent (tear) is made.  17 Neither is new wine put in old wineskins; for if it is, the skins burst and are [a] torn in pieces, and the wine is spilled and the skins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.  18 While He was talking this way to them, behold, a ruler entered and, kneeling down, worshiped Him, saying, My daughter has just [b] now died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will come to life.   Mark 2:22,  And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost and the bottles destroyed; but new wine is to be put in new (fresh) wineskins.   Luke 5:37,  “And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the fresh wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled and the skins will be ruined (destroyed).

In my study,  it is a teaching against old rabbinic powerless prideful traditions  Matt. 9:1-16 ?    13 Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy [that is, [I] readiness to help those in trouble] and not sacrifice and sacrificial victims. For I came not to call and invite [to repentance] the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), but sinners (the erring ones and all those not free from sin).   Of course, we know that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God….   So it was the “Traditionally Righteous” that Jesus was rejecting in preference to the lost of 1 Cor. 1 & 2,  the foolish, base, despised and nothings of this world….

So what then is Jesus teaching us?  Jesus chose not one member of the Jewish Traditional Religious Sect to become one of HIS 12 disciples…. excerpt, later, for Saul who had to lay aside his robes to become a Christian and then it was about 7 years that Peter and Co. watched him before giving him the right hand of fellowship and the commission to go to the Gentiles as an Apostle.   Although Jesus had commissioned Paul to go first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles.

Mark 7:6-9, “ But He said to them, Excellently and truly [[e] so that there will be no room for blame] did Isaiah prophesy of you, the pretenders and hypocrites, as it stands written: These people [constantly] honor Me with their lips, but their hearts hold off and are far distant from Me.  7 In vain (fruitlessly and without profit) do they worship Me, ordering and teaching [to be obeyed] as doctrines the commandments and precepts of men.  8 You disregard and give up and ask to depart from you the commandment of God and cling to the tradition of men [keeping it carefully and faithfully].  9 And He said to them, You have a fine way of rejecting [thus thwarting and nullifying and doing away with] the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition (your own human regulations)!

So as we see such a lack of the Power of God today to confirm the Word of God that we must consider, what are we doing wrong?  Could it be that we are playing church when we should really be the CHURCH?   Could it be that some of our traditions are making the Word of God to be in-effective?   Some of those traditions that seem counter productive are as follows:
1.    Eph. 4:11-16 TEACHES that we need 5 anointed ministries in the Church to be perfected?
2.    The word Church means the people and not the building.  We were never told to build anything at all in the New             Testament.  Not that we should not use what we have.  But funds for buildings cut down on funds needed for                       evangelism and for helping the poor.
3.    The Early Church was gathered in the round so all could participate, 1 Cor.14:26-40.
4.    The Early Church walked out the steps in the Tabernacle of Moses, Acts 2:41-43, 5:16.
5.    Nothing said about tithing but to give as per the leading of the Holy Spirit.  Lk.6:38,   2 Cor. 9:7, “Every man according     as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
6.    No support for divisions in the New Testament, John 17:20-24.  Denomination tend to divide where unity tends to empower, Acts 5:12.  There is but ONE Church of Christ Jesus as LORD and all who love, honor and obey HIM are eternal members.
7.    God authority is based in humility and anointing and from the bottom up.  Jesus came as a servant and to show and teach us how to serve one another.  The strong serve the weak and not the other way around.   Top down authority runs on fear, bottom up authority runs on love.
8.    We should go by the Prophets that God has given us in context through Holy Scripture and not by the traditions of man which are powerless, Paul’s Prophesy:   2 Tim.3:5. “… having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

We are in the process of putting together a Biblically Based Web Site to help us go back the the Early Church format that was confirmed by and through the Holy Spirit in power.   www.OhanaChurch.Life  For our ministry in Hawaii.  If you would like to use anything to help your ministry please feel free to do so.   And you see anything we can do better, please let us know.   ken@trinity-aloha.org

Some Churches today only teach Love,  nothing negative,  acceptance,  self will and are non offensive.
Some Churches Teach from the Bible about God’s Righteousness,  Salvation,  warning of Judgement,  persecution by the world,  and lifts up Jesus as LORD which totally offends the world with the Truth of God.

THANKFULNESS        “WORTH CONSIDERING”   10/26/21    From Ken Smith <><

Thoughts from a church in Texas today were very good, We tend to be so active in getting ahead that we often forget to thank the giver when we should.   I have 2 little wild bantam hens that come running to me each morning and tend to set in front of my study door due to the cup of cracked corn that I give them each day.   They are still wild, but thankful.   But it is so easy to very quickly forget what God has done our lives.  Even before I became a Christian HE saved me from death at least 3 times.

Today’s Scripture, from Texas…
When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you. Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God…  (Deuteronomy 8:10–11, NIV)

Don’t Lose the Awe
In Deuteronomy 8, after promising the Israelites that He was bringing them into the Promised Land, a land filled with abundance, favor, and blessing, God gave them a warning that they not forget He was the source. God was saying, “When you get that promotion, when your health turns around, when you have that house you asked Me for, don’t ever forget that it was My goodness. Always take time to thank Me for what I’ve done.”

In some area of our life, we’re all in the Promised Land. God has done something amazing. We know we have His favor. The problem with forgetting that it came from Him is that God won’t share His glory. If you don’t stay grateful, if you don’t recognize His goodness, the same God who opened the door can close the door. A lack of gratitude is what causes blessings to not last. Every morning when you wake up, the first thing you should say is, “Lord, thank You for Your goodness.”

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that Your hand has been upon my life in so many ways. Thank You for the countless things You have made happen for my good that I could never make happen. I stand in awe of Your goodness to me, and I will not forget it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

THANKFUL  SCRIPTURES:
Psalm 100:4, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name!
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name!
Isaiah 57:19, “Peace, peace, to him who is far off [both Jew and Gentile] and to him who is near! says the Lord; I create the fruit of his lips, and I will heal him [make his lips blossom anew with speech in thankful praise].
1 Corinthians 10:30,  If I partake [of my food] with thankfulness, why am I accused and spoken evil of because of that for which I give thanks?
Ephesians 5:4, “Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish and sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting or becoming; but instead voice your thankfulness [to God].”
Colossians 3:15, “And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].”
1 Thessalonians 5:18,   “Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Reveal-er and Mediator of that will].
Hebrews 13:15,   “Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

AND UNTHANKFUL:
2 Tim. 3: 1-5,   “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”  (Paul’s prophesy about the last days which seem to now be here, Luke 21.)

So in the morning,  be thankful for another day in which to serve King Jesus as our LORD?  Be thankful for the air, water, sleep and food that HE has given us and fully realizing that our Creator knows we have need of such things but that due to our sin, we can block HIM from blessing us.   So if we take just a moment upon waking and ask the Holy Spirit what HE would like to see us change in our lives to be like Jesus,  the answer will be immediate.  We may then choose to obey or to rebel but until we submit and are thankful, the next spiritual doors will remain shut.  Perhaps even for years and years.  Once you know the Truth but are not thankful and walk it out, we will have put a lock on the door to that room in our house that we have placed on the door all by ourselves.  The Holy Spirit will then only wait until we change your mind.  If never, we will die with the potential of that room unrealized and miss the blessings of GOD and the thankfulness of what could have been.  So try waking up and being thankful for the free air and what ever you can think about that is all around us every day of our lives.  And elect to live in obedience and humility to our LORD.   Being thankful contributes to humility,  while unthankfulness fills us with pride.

Yours, in HIS great and wonderful Love and Grace and Mercy,  Ken<><     Ken@Trinity-Aloha.org
