BLESSINGS & PRAISE
BLESSINGS & PRAISE, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 6/4/20 from Ken<><
Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…the voice of those…who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first,” says the LORD…” (Jer. 33:11
Turn Up the Praise
In today’s Scripture God was saying to His people, who had been taken into captivity in Babylon, that when you thank Him even though you don’t see anything good happening, when you offer up the sacrifice of praise, God is going to reverse negative situations and restore what’s been stolen. When you don’t see how it can work out, but you go through the day saying, “Father, thank You that the answer is on the way; thank You that this problem is turning around,” get ready because God is going to reverse and restore. He’s going to reverse finances that are down, reverse a bad health report, reverse a legal matter, and He’s even going to restore what should have been yours. He’s going to restore years that you’ve lost because somebody did you wrong. He’s going to restore a relationship that’s on the rocks, restore health back to your body. It’s going to happen because of your praise, so turn it up!
A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that You are bigger than any difficulty I will ever face. You are the Creator of the universe, and I offer You a sacrifice of praise and the deepest worship of my heart. I believe that You will reverse and restore what should have been mine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Ken’s Thoughts:
I can say in all honesty, I have experienced this. Three times in my life I have suffered great losses financially. After one major loss I can remember crying out to God on my way, far up on the mountain, to do finish work for $100. per day so I could pay for my gas and food for my family in a beat up old Ford Ranger. And yet, the Lord has managed to restore more than what I had lost over time so now looking back it is only a small scar among many. Of course all of the losses were of my own doing in listening to my fear or pride or others in making decisions and not by listening to the Holy Spirit. But there were and are Keys To The Kingdom that really work even though we tend to ignore them or forget them or just don’t care about considering them. They are hidden all the way through the Holy Bible but are obvious if seeking. There are conditions of Heart Faith, humility & obedience and other issues that we with God’s Grace must address in order to have HIS Blessings. He always loves us but blessings come through knowing HIM and keeping HIS commandments. So let’s get into HIS WORD for a bit and perhaps learn some KEYS. Remember, however, that keys only work if they are put in a matching slot to unlock a door or something and are used. Personally I still have a bunch of metal keys that I have no idea what they go to and so are worthless unless I find where they go. But not ready to throw them away. My book, “Keys To the Kingdom” www.Trinity-Aloha.org would be good to digest if interested in God’s Keys to Blessings. Jesus shares some keys in Matt.
8 For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will hand him a serpent? 11 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and [a] advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and [b] advantageous things to those who [c] keep on asking Him! 12 So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets. Matt.7:9-12 (So Ask, but the KEY is in verse 12 in doing unto others as you would have others do to you. (Before Honor is Humility, Kingdom Law. To keep on asking takes loving heart faith.) James, son of Mary and Joseph who grew up with Jesus as this to share with us. “2 You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your desires go unfulfilled; [so] you become murderers. [To hate is to murder as far as your hearts are concerned.] You burn with envy and anger and are not able to obtain [the gratification, the contentment, and the happiness that you seek], so you fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask. 3 [Or] you do ask [God for them] and yet fail to receive, because you ask with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motives. Your intention is [when you get what you desire] to spend it in sensual pleasures. 4 You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God. James 4:2-4 The Bible is full of scriptures like this one that are normally totally ignored. Before Honor is HUMILITY but pride goes before a great fall. How good is your blessing hearing? Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org

1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. “On Sunday, believers arrived at a house church in the Soviet Union in small groups throughout the day so as not to arouse the suspicion of KGB informers. They began by singing a hymn quietly. Suddenly, in walked two soldiers with loaded weapons at the ready. One shouted, “If you wish to renounce your commitment to Jesus Christ, leave now!” Two or three quickly left, then another. After a few more seconds, two more. “This is your last chance. Either turn against your faith in Christ,” he ordered, “or stay and suffer the consequences.” Two more slipped out into the night. No one else moved. Parents with children trembling beside them looked down reassuringly, fully expecting to be gunned down or imprisoned. The other soldier closed the door, looked back at those who stood against the wall, and said, “Keep your hands up–but this time in praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. We, too, are Christians. We were sent to another house church several weeks ago to arrest a group of believers.” The other soldier interrupted, “But, instead, we were converted! We have learned by experience, however, that unless people are willing to die for their faith, they cannot be fully trusted.” (From “Living Above the Level of Mediocrity,” by Chuck Swindoll).
