LOVED DEARLY

ALOHA FAMILY & FRIENDS,  Dearly Beloved of the LORD,   John 3:16-18

LOVED DEARLY,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   6/5/20   From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture      (Across my desk from Texas this morning.)
“…Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick…”
(John 11:3, NKJV)

Recognize His Love for You
It’s interesting that when Mary and Martha sent a message to Jesus asking Him to come and pray for Lazarus, they didn’t say, “Jesus, please come. You know how much Lazarus loves You.” Instead, the message was, “Jesus, the one whom You love is sick.” They didn’t tell Jesus how much Lazarus loved Him. They thought it would be more persuasive to remind Jesus about how much He loved Lazarus.  Sometimes we’re trying to convince God that we love Him. “God, I attended church last week. Would You please help me now?” Why don’t you do as Mary and Martha did and say, “Lord, the one whom You love needs healing. The one whom You love is hurting.” What moves God is not just your love for Him, but recognizing His love for you. It pleases God when you know you are dearly loved. That’s why the Scripture says, “Come boldly to the throne.” Don’t go to Him feeling unworthy.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that I am dearly loved by You, and that is all that really matters. Thank You that You don’t require that I be religious enough or good enough to earn Your love. I recognize Your great love today and come to Your throne boldly with my praise. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Thoughts,
You know how that word love is bantered around these days.  My mother was a Hollywood hair stylist for a lot of well know people, Elvis, Frank, Gregory, Sally and such and would often take me onto the sets as a teenager while making movies.  One of the premium words on the set was love, every things was about love with a mushy lying Hollywood definition.      Sometime back I asked the Holy Spirit for HIS definition of love.  And these words came to my heart, “Love, is the highest good for the other person regardless of personal cost.”  This, definition, also includes pruning and spankings and reaping of what was sown.  It is not plastic.  And from God’s point of view with even perfect understanding of our Adamic Carnal Nature HE really loves us as the best of HIS creation.  And this is in spite of the stink and mud that we have been born into by the decisions of those before us and our own decisions.  He still sees the potential in us to become HIS children, in Christ Jesus in spite of being born the children of Adam and lucifer.

The whole Bible is a Love Story of our Creator’s great love for us and giving us the ultimate example of HIS love in our potential redemption.  In Hollywood it was pure hypocrisy but in God it is pure TRUTH.  So our prime potential on earth is by God’s Grace to dump the lies of lucifer and Adam.  To be confirmed in the Great and Precious Promises of God’s LOVE and really go for it.  Go for it 100%, not even need postcards from the carnal nature we received from Adam.  If we try to walk in the lies of Adam and of this world we will never learn to truly Love God, ourselves or anyone else.  It is easy to see what those lies are by just considering, “What would Jesus Do?”  There is a character study, a positive character study of Jesus, I am attaching it to this blog for you to make a report card for yourself to see how you are doing.  OK now for some scripture for those who are really “born from above” by heart faith.  So let’s start with 1 John 4:15-27   “ Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God.  16 And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.  17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.  18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love [a] turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear [b] brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].  19 We love Him, because He first loved us.  20 If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [[c] in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.  21 And this command (charge, order, injunction) we have from Him: that he who loves God shall love his brother [[d] believer] also.    So you see, our Heavenly Father, for those who will allow it, still has a purpose and vision to make us into HIS Image and Likeness like Jesus.  Jesus was the first of this new creation.  We are invited to put on Christ Jesus.   To allow HIM, Christ Jesus, to really become our LORD as well as Savior.   As a living soul we have the opportunity to say no to Adam, the world the flesh and the devil.   To say no to the lusts of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life.  We have a golden invitations to allow ourselves to be changed to become like our creator and to live with HIM for eternity if we want to.  During this life time the door has been made wide open by Christ Jesus.  But the opportunity ceases upon the end of our life.  And we will continue in eternity either in God’s loving light or as Jude puts it, “become wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.”  Jude 13.  Jesus shared it this way, “16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([d] unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.  17 For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.  18 He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation—he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ’s name.]  19 The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil.
