FAITH OF THE HEART, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 5/18/20 From Ken<><
Today’s Scripture (Found in my emails this morning from Texas.)
“…In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth and had never walked.He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed…” (Acts 14:8–9, NIV)
Faith Gets God’s Attention
We all have difficulties and reasons to be sour, but we can’t let those things talk us out of what God wants to do. In today’s Scripture, Paul could see an expectancy on this man’s expression that he had the faith to be healed. Paul stopped his message and said, “Stand up!” The man jumped up and began to walk for the first time. The question is, can your faith be seen like this man’s was? Can anybody notice that you’re expecting to go to a new level? Are you talking like it’s going to happen, thinking like it’s going to happen, acting like it’s going to happen? There should be an expectancy that you’re ready to be healed, ready to be free, ready to go to a new level. “What I’ve believed God will do for me could happen today!” When your faith can be seen in your attitude, in your expressions, in how you talk, that’s what gets God’s attention.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You that Your power can turn impossible situations around, open the right door, and bring an abundance of unexpected favor. I am living with a sense of expectancy that You will do great things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Ken’s Thoughts:
Great teaching today, Every day is a new growing experience in faith for me as for you. I have never been 87 before with only a few months to go, LORD willing, 88. My drivers lic. also comes up for renewal before then. Last time passed, 2 yrs. ago, without glasses. This time I better take them? But then where is my faith…. Growing Room. My mind is always saying to me that I am really getting old and slow. But then my heart in faith reminds me of Abraham and Moses and that they really did not get off the runway till they were 80? So who do I tell to shut up? It is up to me what I decide to believe. Now I fully realize I have no claim to becoming an Abraham or a Moses. But as to being a Ken, what really does my Creator have in mind for me and how do I find out and go for it? And it can be very difficult at time in dying to my old Adamic nature to the lusts of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life as Jesus calls us to do.
Jesus Taught:
John 12:24-26.“I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest. 25 Anyone who loves his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. [Whoever has no love for, no concern for, no regard for his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and ever.] 26 If anyone serves Me, he must continue to follow Me [[a]to cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying] and wherever I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
Now take 5, hang 10 and read the scripture again asking the Holy Spirit to make it really real for you, OK!!! Be really good to get a red line words of Christ Jesus Bible and also read again and again. MORE ON THIS: “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Matt.15:8-10. “ He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Jn.14:21 “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 Jn. “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3 “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Rev.22:13
So this idea of making up our own concepts of good and bad in self righteousness is really trash and bogus and could make us miss the boat. It is faith alone that saves, but saving faith will also submit to the commandments of God. If I make Jesus Lord, than HE IS LORD, and not me. I am commanded to search out all of HIS commandments and keep them if I have really made Christ Jesus my LORD, otherwise it is pure hypocrisy or acting. As God has for men and/or women an exceptional plan for your life, you need to take what ever time out that is needed to find out what that plan is and do it with you whole heart.

There are Christians in North Korea but congregations are typically made up of two or three people from the same family, Fox News reports. As Iran seems the ultimate of Islam. So is N. Korea the ultimate of atheistic socialism. Both basically constitute slavery, both are being guided by fear and deceit in their manuals. The Revelation of Jesus in Rev.6:6 indicates that the whole world will be under total slavery by the middle of the great tribulation. “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” Rev.13..It would appear that 666 could be a computer 3×6 digit bar code which would allow the total control of every souls on planet earth as to buying and selling or owning anything. The Total Subjication of all humanity. We have an electronic insert today like a grain of rice that buried under the skin could be read by an electronic reader for buying and selling. Of course the Bible teaches that the Church of Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit will be gone during the Great Tribulation of GOD’S WRATH. (due to the rejecton of Christ Jesus and HIS message.) So hope to see you on board and you miss this impending horrible painful mess on earth. It could easily happen in this generation the way things look now.
