TESTING

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God and me.    Another beautiful day here in Kealia.

TESTING,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”   6/23/20       From Ken<>< in Kealia, Hawaii

Today’s Scripture    (Across my desk today from Texas.)
“For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.”  James.1:3

When God is Silent
Sometimes when we’re being tested by discouragement, it seems God is silent. We pray and don’t hear anything. We read the Scripture and still come away feeling as though God is a million miles away. It’s easy to think something must be wrong. But remember, this is a test. You have to pass the test of being faithful where you are. Keep stretching, praying, and believing. The next step is coming—an increase step, a favor step, a healing step, a breakthrough step.  When God is silent, don’t assume He’s left you or is mad at you. He is right there with you during the test. His silence is a sign that He has great confidence in you and He has prepared you, and now He is watching to see if you have learned. He knows you will come through the test victoriously or He would not have permitted you to be tested. Keep being your best with what you have.

A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for the good plan You have for my life. Even when I don’t understand things, I choose to put my hope and trust in You. Help me to live in Your joy and pass the discouragement test when You seem to be silent. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Ken’s Thoughts,
This teaching reminded me of the ultimate testing for Christ Jesus when death was at the door and HE cried out “Father, Father!! Why have you left me alone???”  We often think of Jesus as some kind of a super man and not like us at all.  But in every way HE was tested as we are, yet without sin.  In fact in Hebrews it mentions that HE even learned obedience by the things (temptations) that HE suffered.  Now how can any one learn obedience through suffering.  Well I took that to the LORD and what I felt came back is: “Every time you have victory in being obedient you learn to be more obedient.  So in Jesus deciding very young to be obedient even when suffering through doing that which was right but was uncomfortable to do, it made him stronger.  Of course the ultimate in HIS obedience was in HIS prayer before being bound on the Mount of Olives.  And HE prayed, “And going a little farther, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire.”  Matt. 26:39

So this brings up an interesting question.   How is your learning obedience through suffering going?  Of course the Holy Spirit is our instructor and will guide us through the Word of God as to the Commandments of Christ Jesus for serious testing.  The Holy Spirit has been busy setting up Godly authority from the cradle to the grave.  But then we have been making adjustments in order to avoid the intrusion of Godly Authority and know very little concerning real Godly authority in our theater churches today.  The little church across the street from us told me very carefully that they used a “progressive” interpretation of the Bible.   In other words they used scissors for the parts of the Bible that they disagreed with.  And as a result of private or personal interpretation of Holy Scripture today we see very little of the confirming power of the Holy Spirit as per Paul’s Prophesy to Timothy, 1 Tim.3 and concerning our Laodicean Church of today as noted in Prophesy by Christ Jesus in Rev.3:12-22 where Jesus is knocking on the outside of the door to be invited into HIS own church.   The theater and early Roman church tradition infusion of traditions have made the Word of God mostly ineffective in most of our traditions of today.  And neither do we find the Book of Acts continuing today.  Seems like obedience testing has been totally replaced with a blanket of we are OK as we are.  After all God is Love.  So let’s just love one another and say good things and be polite and not cause any ripples or testing.  Actually Jesus was very clear, “No prunning, No fruit.”  No dying to this world, no gathering to the Kingdom. “ I write to you, fathers, because you have come to know (recognize, be conscious of, and understand) Him Who [has existed] from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong and vigorous, and the Word of God is [always] abiding in you (in your hearts), and you have been victorious over the wicked one.  15 Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.  16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].” 1 Jn.2:14-16.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

Jesus came in love to save us, we are also called in HIM to share HIS message.
John 17:20-26

There is but one universal and apostolic church with Christ Jesus as LORD
All who truly Love, Honor and Obey HIM will live with HIM for eternity.

Learning Ground:
It was that the children who were born in Israel and went to school who learned Hebrew first — and since, of course, the adults didn’t know Hebrew, it was the children who taught their parents.  There is a profound example in Ben-Yehuda’s inspiring act of faith — for as Yeshua said, “Unless you are changed and become like little children you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” If you want to speak the language of Heaven, you must learn it as a child would learn! Little children are open, receptive, hungry to learn, believing, humble, and lighthearted. According to Yeshua (Jesus), these qualities are necessary for entry into our Lord’s realm.

Iceland’s meteorological service IMO said Monday that 3,000 tremors had been registered on the northern coast of the country.   The sunny, blue skies of the Caribbean were shrouded in dust on Monday as a dense plume of Saharan dust that experts say hasn’t been seen in half a century moved into the region as it makes its way towards the U.S.  Praying and marching against racism Friday, thousands of Christians took part in the “March on Atlanta” event organized by One Race Movement, a Christian coalition aiming to “displace the spirit of racism and release racial reconciliation,” The Christian Post reported. Participants also prayed in support of the Atlanta Police Department which is reeling from nationwide rage against law enforcement following the police killings of George Floyd in Minneapolis and Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta itself.  The streets of Minneapolis where George Floyd was killed are being used by God to save those searching for hope and healing.  (“But then Law came in, [only] to expand and increase the trespass [making it more apparent and exciting opposition]. But where sin increased and abounded, grace (God’s unmerited favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and super abounded,…” Rom.5:20)
