PREPARATIONS “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/30/20 From Ken<><
Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from Texas.)
“…He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly…” (1 Peter 2:22–23, NLT)
You Have a Defender
When Jesus was on the earth, He went around doing good, healing the sick, lifting the fallen. He did nothing wrong, but He was misunderstood, criticized, belittled, ridiculed, and falsely accused. How did He respond to protect His reputation? Read today’s Scripture. He didn’t waste His time trying to prove to His critics that He was the Son of God. He just kept being His best, trusting His Father to settle His cases.
We all have people who come against us and make negative comments about us. We spend too much time worrying about what they think, trying to defend ourselves and prove to people who we are. Why don’t you put your reputation in God’s hands? He said He will defend you, and He will vindicate you far better than you can vindicate yourself. You don’t have to retaliate, get even, prove that you’re a nice person, or convince them to change their mind. God can do it better than you.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the example that Jesus showed in His response to insults and false accusations. Thank You that I don’t have to waste my time and energy trying to prove who I am or change what others think of me. You are my defender. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Could not say it any better but to forget what is past and press on to your high calling in Jesus/ An old prophesy of David Wilkerson was given in March of 2009 seems to be coming to pass?

Hope you take the time to read it as we seem to be entering into some very difficult times. The CCPVirus is slowly strangling the country. It is like an organic slow EMP attack. As food gets more difficult to find, riots will become more extensive. Making it even worse. Some feel the virus is a NWO farce and not nearly as bad as the publicity we are reading but others feel it is even worse. I am thankful that on our island we only know of about 4 active cases. But then what does anyone know due to the politics & lies that seem to be involved. Paul warns us about confusion in 1 Cor. 14 and tells us clearly that God is never the author of confusion. So it has to be the rulers of darkness that are creating fear so as to create a reason for us to make poor decisions. Our Constitutional Republic is the best government on planet earth at this time if we send moral and ethical people to represent us. But if we elect swamp people we will shortly be in economic slavery as is much of the world today. Even with us now the tax load is about 50% when all taxes are included. And due to the printing of paper money the value of paper money is quickly drying up into nothing. Just consider food and energy prices. We here are now paying over $5.00 per gal. for propane and over $5.00 for a loaf of bread that costs .50 cents to produce.
In scripture there are clear indications that the gentile civilization is now coming to an end. In Luke 21. The physician Luke records that Jesus taught, “ … and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” (Verse24). In 2017 the United States acknowledged Jerusalem as once again the capital city of Israel. And it is quickly heading in that direction in spite of all of the objections. Roughly 850,000 people live in Jerusalem — 37% are Arab and 61% are Jewish, according to the independent think tank Jerusalem Institute. The Jewish population includes around 200,000 ultra-Orthodox Jews, with the rest split generally between religious Zionist and secular Jews. Of the city’s Arab population, 96% is Muslim; the other 4% is Christian. The final status of Jerusalem has always been one of the most difficult and sensitive questions in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For years, US policy has been to avoid declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel in the absence of an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal, as the Palestinians also claim Jerusalem as their capital. It was argued that a unilateral decision would break with international consensus and prejudge an issue that was supposed to be left to negotiations. Recognizing Jerusalem as the capital has also moved the United States a big step closer to relocating the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which would be seen as cementing Israeli sovereignty over the city. So we are the generation that is seeing the fig tree blossom. Matt. 24:32-33 which considers the same event from Matthews witness of the words of Jesus.
For us, we should make sure we have oil in our lamps as per the 5 wise virgins who made it into the wedding feast, Matt.25:10-13: “10 But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked. 11 Later the others also came, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us.’ 12 But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship ].’ 13 Therefore, be on the alert [be prepared and ready], for you do not know the day nor the hour [when the Son of Man will come].” (That could mean that 50% might not make it who now think they are Christian.) Isaiah 28 and Jude are good places to consider about this.

China threatens to forcibly take children from Christian families to re-education camps The International Christian Concern (ICC) non-governmental organization has received a new report that Chinese authorities threatened to send children from a church in Chengdu to re-education camps, Christian Today reports. ICC has previously reported that Chinese authorities had removed children from Christian families on the grounds that they were “trapped by an evil religion.”
