2/24/20
The problem is that there are many demonic deceptions that say they are of Christ Jesus but are not.   Paul taught us that if there was no real power, to go some place else.  “ But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, 3 [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith];  From such turn away.”  2 Tim.3

2/25/20  Ken’s Thoughts:    The primary reason for our Creation is to give us the opportunity to choose love and righteousness and light over sin and darkness and then to bring glory to God in our love for HIM.  It was extremely costly for our Creator to make this choice available to us.  Jesus was the first to make it though our fallen world into God’s Glory and presence.   And HE has also provided the way for us to follow HIM into truly becoming the children of God.  Our Great Creator is well aware that we were born dead of Adam which was not our fault.  So HE has provided a way through Christ Jesus for us to be born again from above, John 3.   And not only that but also to be given the Grace or Power by God to overcome the world.  Romans 8 if we will decide to learn to use it.

2/26/20   ” Now if you are exempt from correction and without discipline, in which all [of God’s children] share,  then you are illegitimate children and not sons [at all].  9 Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we submitted and respected them [for training us]; shall we not much more willingly submit to the Father of [a] spirits, and live [by learning from His discipline]? 10 For our earthly fathers disciplined us for only a short time as seemed best to them; but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. 11 For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems sad and painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness [right standing with God and a lifestyle and attitude that seeks conformity to God’s will and purpose]. Heb. 12:8-12.  AMP”

2/27/20  Many Christians have been taught how to be a church member and join a denomination.  Even the non-denominations     become denominations.   I spent many years in pew polishing,  listening and tithing and totally board.  Not like the exciting Church of Acts at all, especially Acts 5: 12-16.   I have come to the conclusion that: ‘There is but one Church of Christ Jesus and all who truly LOVE & OBEY Him are members.”

2/28/20      Always  remember  that  Content  without  Context  is  Pretext.

18 be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; 19 and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].  20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super abundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.   Eph. 3 AMP

Our Victory in Christ

31 What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? 32 He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against God’s elect (His chosen ones)? It is God who justifies us [declaring us blameless and putting us in a right relationship with Himself]. 34 Who is the one who condemns us? Christ Jesus is the One who died [to pay our penalty], and more than that, who was raised [from the dead], and who is at the right hand of God interceding [with the Father] for us. 35 Who shall ever separate us from the love of [d]Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 Just as it is written and forever remains written,
“For Your sake we are put to death all day long; We are regarded as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. 38 For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
