MARRIAGE “WORTH CONSIDERING” 8/21/21 By Ken Smith<><

A long time ago, I ask the LORD what was HIS definition of Marriage? The reply to my heart was, “Marriage, is a life time commitment of a man & women to become one. Apostle Paul equates the union as an example of Christ and HIS Church, Eph.5:22-32. While Apostle Peter tell us that prayers will not be even considered without that unity, 1 Peter 3:7. And further that God created sex to be enjoyed, a helpful safe bonding glue and to help make a family. Heb. 13:4 But obviously as the bodies designs are very different the responsibilities are very different.

Originally in Genesis 2:20 we find Eve created for Adam as a helper/companion. (In my book God’s very best work, with a most exquisite attention to detail.) “And the man gave names to all the livestock, and to the birds of the air, and to every animal of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper [that was] suitable (a companion) for him.” After the Rebellion and Fall the position was altered as found in Gen.3:16, “To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth; In pain you will give birth to children; Yet your desire and longing will be for your husband, And he will rule [with authority] over you and be responsible for you.” Here is about the time that most woman start to fade away…. But I did not write the Book, and this truth is in context with all of the other 66 writings…. So if you have an issue, it is with the Holy Spirit who kept this understanding for us over 6,000 years.

As with Adam he was asked originally to a fruit tester and animal lover and to make lots of babies with a one tree exception. A no tree to help Adam learn humility, obedience and grow a strong free will. Of course we all know what happened in Gen.3 while Adam & Eve were over pondering the forbidden fruit???? Yes, Adam was standing there with Eve, verse 6. But Eve took the authority of fielding the 3 lies. #1, are you sure God really said that? #2. God’s really holding out on you. #3. Do you really believe God will kill you for eating some fruit??? Jesus went through the same 3 temptations and we go through them every day. The present Church is one big mess because we tend to manipulate the Truth of God to fit our own weaknesses and flesh desires. That way we can do what we want to and still believe we are OK to be with God in heaven. That we will somehow get in just as we are rather than allow the Holy Spirit to change us to be like GOD. Rom.8:6-14.

So today we have a lot of “vain traditions” that we have allowed to roost in our humanity as being from GOD when they are not. So I am going to keep out of trouble and just give you some verses to look up if you are interested:

Men: 1 Tim. 3:2, 1Tim.5:8, 1 Thess. 3:10-11, Titus 1:7, Titus 2:15
Woman: 1 Tim.2: 8-15, 1 Pet. 3, 1 Cor.14:34-36, Proverbs 31:10-31

And there is no precedent in the New Testament where the Holy Spirit chose a woman Elder in the Early Church to rule over men. It takes a Godly Man to teach a young man how to be a godly man.

We are all in a chain of authority from our Heavenly Father, Jesus (Word of God made flesh), Holy Spirit, Elders, Deacons, Steward, Husbands, Wives, Children, so that all are protected in God’s Loving Truth. We are writing here concerning the ideal, not what we see in action today. But in time if we will have learned to enjoy humility, obedience, loving unity and the power of God will really be free. And those of us who graduate into the Kingdom of God to light speed will be so very happy that they did.

1 Cor. 15:24: “ Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org

Note to me on FaceBook. “I just got over the covid and I am UN-vaccinated, I hate to see people suffer but I can say from experience I was treated with hydroxychloroquine, zinc and vitamins. I had a low grade fever and cold like symptoms and was thru in 5 days. Do what you think is right for you but no you do not know if you were UN-vaccinated that it would be much worse because I was and it was not that bad.” ( I tend to think this is the best way to go, Natural immunity, but all the chips are not in. It looks dangerous either way, so need to pray about it, seriously. I called the V.A. about it, they were not set up for the above treatment? Even with the Trump success.)

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. William Wilberforce led a campaign against the British Parliament to abolish slavery in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. During the course of his intense efforts, Wilberforce came to a desperate place of discouragement, feeling he had absolutely no more strength to continue. In this condition, he was about to give up, when his elderly friend, John Wesley, lying on his deathbed, was informed of his friend William’s distress. Wesley requested pen and paper, and with a quivering hand, wrote these words, “Unless God has raised you up for this very thing, you will be worn out by the opposition of men and devils. But if God be for you, who can be against you? Are all of them stronger than God? Oh be not weary of well-doing! Go on, in the name of God and in the power of his might, till even American slavery shall vanish away before it.” John Wesley died six days later, but William Wilberforce fought for forty-five more years, and in 1833, three days before his own death, witnessed the abolition of slavery in Britain. So, do not grow weary in well-doing, for we can still triumph! It’s exactly when everything looks hopeless that our God has the opportunity to display His awesome power. Even the great men that changed history needed a word of encouragement now and then – so be encouraged, and be an encourager! You never know when you may enable another saint to continue pressing on, or how that may change the world! Your family in the Lord with much agape love, George Baltimore, Maryland Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com>

More GREAT QUOTES: “If you never take risks, you’ll never accomplish great things.
Everybody dies, but not everyone has lived.” -C. S. Lewis “Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.” – Helen Keller. “Only a real risk tests the reality of a belief.”-C. S. Lewis “They who navigate little streams and shallow creeks, know but little of the God of tempests; but they who “Do business in great waters,” these see his “wonders in the deep.” -Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Your Bible: Just don´t read it; do it!”-Unknown “To risk reputation and affection for the truth’s sake is so demanding that to do it constantly you will need a degree of moral principle that only the Spirit of God can work in you. Do not turn your back like a coward, but play the man. Follow boldly in your Master’s steps, for He has made this rough journey before you.” – Alistair Begg
