STRIFE

STRIFE,      “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/15/19,   (Across my desk this morning,  exceptional.)

Today’s Scripture
Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out.”
(Proverbs 17:14, NIV)

Stay Above Strife
Too often, people fall into the trap of strife. Someone says something that rubs you the wrong way, and before you know it, there is tension, quarreling and division. The Scripture tells us that strife opens the door to “every evil work.” It’s the enemy’s greatest trap to keep people from living in victory. But you don’t have to fall into the trap of strife, you can rise above it. Today’s verse says that you can simply drop the matter before it turns into something bigger than it needs to be. You don’t have to sink down to somebody’s level and argue with them and try to prove that you’re right. You weren’t put on this earth to correct everybody around you.

If you are going to be all that God’s called you to be, you have to learn to stay above strife. Instead of letting disagreements pull your relationships apart, look for common ground to draw you closer to the people in your life. Look for peace. Look for ways to be a blessing. Stay above strife so you can enjoy your relationships and experience the blessing He has for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, I choose to stay above strife. I choose to honor You by seeking peace in my relationships. Empower me to walk in love and be an example of Your light everywhere I go in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
When I read the above I immediately remembered the verse in Prov.16:7,
When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.  And what Christ Jesus taught in Matt.18:15,   If your brother wrongs you, go and show him his fault, between you and him privately. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother.  But it does not stop there….  The whole teaching of the Lord concerns maintaining the Unity of the Faith, in the Bond of Peace.

Obviously, gaining unity will depend upon many factors including our primary viewpoint of why we are here,  where did we come from and where are we going.  If we are secured in that larger dimension of eternity then much in this world will seem rather unimportant except for what facilitates eternal life with our loving Creator.  Our life time on earth is but a speck in relationship to eternity and eternal values.   But for us, if this time experience is only of our earthly vision then we are going to be self centered, egocentric and selfish.  Our little ego will not allow us to be wrong, even when we know that we are wrong.

So the way up, is the way down as concerns peace and begins with humility (having ears) as a little child and with obedience.  Even Christ Jesus learned obedience through the things that HE suffered and was made perfect in that way.  Heb.5:8-9.   So much of the strife that we experience can be totally avoided if we maintain the loving long view that we are created as eternal souls and a hundred years from now, none of this will matter at all.  Our main energy flow will then go towards becoming ready to experience GOD’s light speed and our Creator’s plans for us in eternity.  We will then see our earthly experience as only a life time opportunity to find and experience being with our Creator for eternity,  Rev. 21    Or we can use up our short existence in time to build our own little temporal castle and be excluded from the light of God’s plans for those who love and obey HIM.  The Holy Scriptures are very clear.   Either we submit it GOD’s authority to rule over us and live in light for eternity or we spend our eternity in the blackness of darkness alone for eternity, Jude 13.  Hope you choose wisely.    Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,  Ken<><

POWER

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

POWER,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”
7/13/19,   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
…and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.”  (Ephesians 1:19, NKJV)

The Greatness of His Power
Paul prayed that we would understand the exceeding greatness of God’s power for those who believe. Notice the power is only activated when we believe. That means right now the Creator of the universe is just waiting to release healing, restoration, favor, promotion and abundance. The only catch is that we have to believe.

I think about Mary, the mother of Christ. When she was a teenager, the angel appeared to her and said, “You’re going to have a child without knowing a man, and He will be the Son of God.” Her first thought was, “That’s impossible. That’s never happened before. That defies the laws of nature.” She said to the angel, “How can this be?” He answered back, “The Spirit of the Lord will come on you and cause it to happen.”

I love the way Mary responded. She didn’t argue with him. She didn’t try to talk herself out of it. She simply said, “Be it unto me even as you have said.” That’s the way we need to be to activate God’s power in our lives.

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, thank You for exceeding greatness of Your power. Help me to see, to know, to recognize Your hand at work in my life. I choose to believe and open the door for You to have Your way in every area of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
One of the last things that Jesus said to HIS disciples was concerning power.  That HE knew that we would need HIS power to get the work done on earth that HE would appoint HIS Church to do.  In Acts 1:8,  “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost (Spirit) is come upon you:  and ye sall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”  (Which, by the way, is Hawaii.  We are at the uttermost distance possible from Jerusalem.)

So consider that these guy were already saved in the Upper Room some 40 days or so past.  So like Paul’s question in Acts 19:2,  “…Have ye received the Holy Ghost (Spirit)  since ye believed?”    In Luke Christ Jesus tells us that this gift of power is for GOD’s Children,  Luke 11:13,  “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children:  how much more shall your heavenly Father give the holy Spirit to them that ask HIM?

Of course you don’t give a kid a loaded gun until you are sure he will use it wisely so there is also a learning curve and an obedience factor.   But once given, the Spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet, 1 Cor.14:32 but then the Holy Spirit may also be restrained by our lack of faith.  And of course, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of GOD.  Hebrews, chapter 11 is a good faith builder.  So as noted below, when the Holy Spirit is in charge and has us supporting HIM great things begin to happen like the 3,000 men saved on Pentecost.  Now it seems we preach 3,000 sermons and not one gets saved.  So if nothing is happening, it is because the Holy Spirit is not in charge.  God has limited Himself in our affairs to only do what we will allow HIM to do.  HE totally honors our freewill,  faith level and our comfort zone.  This is because only by allowing freewill to be totally free can we learn how to love HIM, ourselves and each other.  Love can not exist outside of freewill.

So if you are attending a powerless gathering Paul writes to Timothy in 1 Tim.3:5,  go some place where they are trying to learn how to walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit.  Of course you need to clean house if you are going to have the Holy Spirit be comfortable in your home.  And you are going to need to accept the change to become more like Jesus Christ as that is HIS vision for you.  And you are going to need to get rid of the squatters living in the attic and basement and allow the Holy Spirit to completely fill your house.  You will need to give the Holy Spirit all of the Keys that belong to all of the doors in your house.   You have been told by the enemy that you have a very small house.  God wants us to know that you have a very big house with lots of room for everything he wants us to learn to do.  We are not special, but we are unique so we need each other and to learn how all of the living stones (Eph.4:11-16) go together so that the world can experience Christ Jesus today.  And we will find joy in the presence of our Creator as did David and Jesus.  Yes Jesus is also a man like us as well.

Written quickly this morning,  may have typo’s….  Yours in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org

GOD’S GRACE

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of GOD, John 3:16 GOD'S GRACE, "WORTH CONSIDERING" 7/11/19 (Across my desk this morning.) Today’s Scripture For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them." (Psalm 44:3, NKJV) The Gracious Hand of God Have you ever thought about the fact that the victories you saw in your past weren’t just your own doing? When you made it through a difficult time, when you received an unexpected break, when things turned around for no reason, it was because God favored you. You wouldn’t be where you are if the gracious hand of God was not on your life! Now you may not have as much education as somebody else. But that’s okay. You have an advantage. You have this favor factor. Maybe you don’t come from the most influential family. That’s all right. God’s favor can take you where you cannot go on your own. Deep down you have to know there is something about you that is indefinable. It can’t be measured, can’t be put on paper, and can’t be explained. Other people won’t be able to figure it out. All they know is that you have it. There is something about you they like, something that causes you to succeed. That’s the gracious hand of God. Today, let this truth sink down deeply into your heart. Don’t be discouraged by what you can see; be encouraged by what you can’t see! Put your shoulders back and go out with faith and confidence knowing that His gracious hand is upon you! A Prayer for Today "For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them." My Thoughts: This morning as I set down to write on this the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said, "I keep telling you of God's "lOVE" for you as with every soul, but you don't really hear ME." And I thought about it and said, "But I do love GOD." And then I thought, but not how the Holy Spirit is saying it. When He speaks, it is clear.... when I say it it goes though my remaining past filters of rejection, pride, sin and unresolved conflicts. So I get the message that I still have some trash to dump before I can really experience the deep love of God. And His clear love is what brings me into repentance and loving faith. We already have all of HIS LOVE and GRACE in Christ Jesus. But we need to dump our junk in order to make room for GOD's LOVE to penetrate and to fully experience it. This has helped me today to want to "clean to the corners" with the blood of the lamb. There is so much of Adam's fallen nature shared with us that needs to be converted back to what GOD originally designed for us to be. GOD's original vision was to make us in HIS own image and likeness. And HE never changes HIS mind. But it is up to us now as to whether we want to change to be like HIM or not? Love in Jesus, Ken<>< O:-) FROM the PRAYER CLOSET to THE LION'S DEN by David Wilkerson The Bible shows a pattern in the lives of all God´s people. In case after case, when God began to fulfill his promises, the roof seemed to cave in. Think of Daniel, a handsome, gifted young man who was chosen to serve in the king´s palace (see Daniel 1:3-6). He pledged himself to a life of holiness and separation from the world and was promoted because of his excellence. "Then this Daniel distinguished himself .... Because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm" (Daniel 6:3). But devious men became jealous and devised a plan to destroy Daniel, resulting in his being thrown into a den of lions. God intervened and delivered his servant by shutting the mouths of the lions! Think of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, three exceptional young men who were brought to the king´s palace, where they were made leaders in the government. However, when the king commanded that everyone bow before his false god, they refused and were immediately bound and thrown into the fiery furnace that was prepared for them. All seemed lost until the Son of God showed up in the fire and delivered them! And think of Elijah. God gave him a glorious promise of a spiritual awakening in the land, of an outpouring of abundant rain, and a new day of victory for God´s people. Wicked Ahab and Jezebel were to be overthrown and peace was to rule over the realm. But Jezebel threatened Elijah´s life, the prophets of God were killed, and the land continued in wickedness and drought. Elijah felt alone and confused before the promise was fulfilled. Read this account in 1 Kings 18 and 19. Do not be deterred by adverse, confusing circumstances in your life. One does not go from the prayer closet directly to some mountaintop victory. You may have to go to the lions´ den, or the fiery furnace, or the valley of confusion. But do not despair! God is sovereign and the Shepherd is still leading. Your suffering and confusion will give way to a faith that will never fail - a faith that has been tried, as gold, in the fire of adversity. ~Source- http://world.convio.net/site/R?i=G4lBsEhH42a2lDzQymOq8A "Speak, only if it improves upon the silence." Many times people can miss God’s best simply because they give up before they see their answer come. Don’t let that be you! Be encouraged today; your answer is closer than you think! If it seems as though things are getting more difficult, remember, when the intensity heats up, that means you are closer to your victory. It always seems darkest just before the dawn appears.

Remember, you serve a faithful God, and He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. Don’t cast away your confidence today because your reward is coming. And just like a new mother forgets about her labor pain when she is finally holding her newborn, you’ll forget about your struggle when you are holding on to your promise.

While you are waiting, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Wake up every morning and say out loud, “I’ve come too far to give up now. My due season is coming. I will reap my harvest.” Stay in faith and look for His hand of blessing because He has promised you victory (Rom.8), and your reward is coming!

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, today I stand believing that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Give me Your strength to continue believing until I see Your promises fulfilled in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”(Heb.11)

My Thoughts:
There is a bunch of folks believing in a doctrine that,  “Once Saved, Always Saved”   Which from a certain point of view is true.  No one can remove you from God’s LOVE and SALVATION, except you.  Calvin, in his doctrine, ignored all of the “CONDITIONAL” scriptures and only built his doctrine on the scriptures that have to do with God’s DIMENSION in eternity.  He left out all of the “conditional” scriptures like that above that instruct us in our temporary”dimension of time.”  The above subject scripture indicates that you can throw away your faith.  So how is that done?  Simple by letting the world, flesh and the devil seep into to your heart and crowd out  GOD’s Truth from your heart. Paul covers this very quickly in Rom.11:20-21 and many other places in the New Testament.

So the above admonition is great to always keep on the front burner of your life and to remember that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of GOD.  I have ran in to so many prideful Christians that have forgotten humility and obedience and have no ears anymore to be challenged or corrected.  Only Children of heart get into the Kingdom of God.  Matt.18:3,  And Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.   So the Confidence or Faith is not in ourselves but in us having confidence or faith in HIM and what HE did for us on the cross.  Spiritual pride is very destructive and deceiving and can remove our confidence in HIM.  We will not know for sure that we are really saved until we finish our life or course.  Apostle Paul carefully lays this out to Timothy in 2 Tim.4:5-8,   “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.  6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure (death) is at hand.  7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

FORGETTING PAST

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,  John 3:16

FORGETTING PAST,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/9/19    (Across my desk this morning and exceptional.)

Today’s Scripture
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before…”    Phil. 3:13

Open the Door to Blessing
We all go through disappointments, setbacks and things that we don’t understand. Maybe you prayed for a loved one, but they didn’t get well. Or maybe you worked hard for a promotion, but you didn’t get it. You stood in faith for a relationship, but it didn’t work out. One of the best things you can do is release it. Let it go. Don’t dwell on it anymore. If you go around wondering why things didn’t work out, all that’s going to do is lead to bitterness, resentment and self-pity. Before long, you’ll be blaming others, blaming yourself or even blaming God. You may not have understood what happened. It may not have been fair. But when you release it, it’s an act of your faith. You’re saying, “God, I trust You. I know You’re in control. And even though it didn’t work out my way, You said, ‘All things are going to work together for my good.’ So I believe You still have something good in my future.”  There is power in letting go of the past and the frustration of trying to figure everything out. When you release your questions, you are saying, “God, You are in control. I trust You.” And when you put your hope in God, that’s when He can heal your heart and lead you forward into His path of blessing.

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, I come to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Help me to forgive and release the past. Heal my heart and restore my soul. Show me the good plan You have for my future as I keep my mind stayed on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
This is very powerful, think about it, what can anyone do to change the past?  And yet if allowed, the fear and pain of the past can easily destroy our dreams and future.   Making a big brain rut in our head out of the past can crowd out the potential good of any future.  Talking stink can only take up precious time that could be helpful to myself and others in considering the good things of life to do.  So if we need to repent, and it is necessary, 1 John 1:9,  and receive God’s forgiveness in GRACE, pick up what is left of our day’s on earth and forge ahead with the life we have been blessed to have.  After all there is much to learn from both the bad and good in the light of GOD.  Nothing is ever wasted in the Kingdom of God.  But learning by rebellion, pride and experience can be very painful.  While learning by faith can be very joyful.  The Word of God is written so that we can make our way more focused and direct and be less painful in our learning of how to use our free will in support of GOD’s Kingdom rather than against.  How can God fill our cup with HIS blessings if it is already full of our past junk and worse?

2 Tim.3:16-17,

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Acts 17:11,
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Psalms 119:11-17,
10
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

God has a vision that HE is working on and has invited us to become a unique member of HIS eternal family.  That is , if we will allow HIM to help us make the jump to light speed and quit destroying things.  He has given us free will to be able to learn to love HIM, ourselves and each other and to from the heart submit to HIS authority.  But we can use the same free will to be self centered and choose the outer darkness.

Today’s Scripture
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…”  (Ecclesiastes 9:10, NIV)

Open the Door to Blessing
When you give 100 percent effort, and you do it to the best of your ability because you’re honoring God, you will have His blessing. That means it will be easier, it will go better, and you will accomplish more. That’s why no matter what we do, we should give it our best. This is especially true even in the little things. For example, when you’re doing the dishes or mowing the lawn, don’t drag around all sour and frustrated. Mow with enthusiasm, as though you’re on a mission from God! With every step, thank God that your legs work. Thank Him that you’re healthy and strong. At the office, don’t do just enough to get by. You’re not working unto people, you’re working unto God. Do it with your whole heart. When you volunteer at church, don’t wake up and think, “Awe, man. Why did I volunteer? I want to sleep in!” No, serve Him with all your heart because that’s what honors God. When you honor God, He’ll honor you. He’ll give you His life, peace, health and blessing now and forevermore!

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, thank You for Your hand of blessing on my life. I choose today to serve You with my whole heart and do everything to the best of my ability. Thank You for Your faithfulness to me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
It is my understanding in the physical, that muscles grow biger when pressed a little beyond their capacity.  You know,  “What does not kill you, makes you stronger!”   It would see to be the same in the spiritual realm as well.   When we commit ourselves to “cleaning to the corners” then we are blessed with more to work with and more exciting things to do.  The word used in the Bible is heartily:

Col.3:23   “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the LORD, and not unto men;”

So if you are interested in Spiritual Growth then looking for the soft stuff to slid by on will keep you in the same little boring box that has become your comfort zone.  Some ex-believers have even died spiritually in their little, self made,  comfort zones.  Rom. 11:20-22,  Heb.6:4-8

As a growing edge, sharing your faith with others, is a good start.  Giving the folks who walk in darkness the light of God has great rewards and also potential persecutions.  But a spiritual growing edge, it is.  Giving out tracts gives us a lot of growing room over fear.  But when you find a soul who is looking for light and give them HIS light, there is such great rewards.  Want to really get out on your growing edge,  start a “New Testament House Church” or join one.  Never know what is going to happen.  Bible only, no traditions.  We have been under attack for some weeks now for starting a “House Church” in the middle of enemy territory,  but are getting stronger.    Jesus told Peter,  “…Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”  I believe this is still true today as per John 17:20,  2,000 years later.  So let get with it, clean to the corners and go fish for for the souls of men.

I do a little fishing in the “Liturgical pond” with my internet domain:  www.CCCInt.org   Smells Catholic but pure Bible..  Might use with your Catholic Friends.   Gets a lot of Internet action,  in eternity will find out how much good it did.  You never know but it is out of the boat and on the water.

LOVE

Aloha Family and Friends,   Beloved of God,  John 3:16

LOVE,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”
    7/7/19

I really like things like this,  the simplicity makes me think…  A good friend and Orthodox Bishop sends this stuff out.  We don’t agree on a lot of things but we have grown into being good friends,  anyway.

HOW ABOUT A LITTLE TIME IN 1 JOHN IN CONSIDERING WHAT JOHN HAS BEEN TAUGHT BY JESUS ABOUT LOVE?

But he who keeps (treasures) His Word [who bears in mind His precepts, who observes His message in its entirety], truly in him has the love of and for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity). By this we may perceive (know, recognize, and be sure) that we are in Him:

See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called andcounted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.

By this it is made clear who take their nature from God and are His children and who take their nature from the devil and are his children: no one who does not practice righteousness [who does not conform to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action] is of God; neither is anyone who does not lovehis brother (his fellow believer in Christ).

We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death.

By this we come to know (progressively to recognize, to perceive, to understand) the [essential] love: that He laid down His [own] life for us; and we ought to lay [our] lives down for [those who are our] brothers [in Him].

But if anyone has this world’s goods (resources for sustaining life) and sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him?

And this is His order (His command, His injunction): that we should believe in (put our faith and trust in and adhere to and rely on) the name of His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and that we should love one another, just as He has commanded us.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him].

In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him.

No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!

And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.

In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].

If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.

By this we come to know (recognize and understand) that we love the children of God: when we love God and obey His commands (orders, charges)—[when we keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and His teaching].

For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous).

LAW

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS

LAW,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/5/19

Much in my e-mail in the last week centered in the conflict between LAW and GRACE,  some for it (LAW) and some not.  It is very interesting for me that GOD spent about 2,000 years in collecting a people together to allow them to show that the LAW does not work.   Today we raise the call that we are a nation of LAW.   And yet no one can really pin point what the law really is.   The original approach of GOD was to have prophets who would be sensitive to HIM and tell the people what to do.   But they wanted a King and the law like the other nations.  You see, if you know the law really well you can always figure out a way to circumvent it and be the exception yourself.  So the BIG TEN ended up in not guiding the people but in the people making further laws to make the BIG TEN void.  That is just part of the Adamic nature of pride and rebellion and wanting to be a king in one’s own little ivory palace.  And the subordinates of those on top are then only looking for the opportunity to replace those on top.   So to be the Top Gun and to have the most freedom is an illusion or a lie.   As the more authority and control and stuff that you have,  the more energy you must use to maintain it.  So then we become God’s chosen, frozen, dedicated to the preservation of the stuff.

So GOD allowed this lie to continue until the appointed time for Christ Jesus to come and restore man to GOD’s TRUTH.  That is, if he wants it.

Christ Jesus and HIS Apostles brought us a New Testament, a new WILL that basically pronounced that the letter of the LAW,  KILLS.   It is the Spirit that gives life.   So now we have the opportunity to learn to walk in the Spirit of God in Love, Humility, Faith and Obedience towards GOD as originally intended.   That we no longer need to be concerned about the stuff but simple about pleasing GOD and getting to know HIM and learn to hear HIS voice.  So life consists not in the abundance of things that we possess but by every WORD that proceeds from the mouth of GOD.   And if we really want life we should spend time in the Word of God to lean HIS ways.   We should be in faith preparing for a loving orderly eternity as earthly life is very short and you can only take with us what we send ahead.

GREAT QUOTES on “PHARISEES”

"Pharisaism is a poisonous weed that grows in every garden of orthodox religion. Pharisaism is every bit the threat to the orthodox today that it was then." - J.D. Greear "Sometimes we emulate the Pharisees more than we imitate Christ." -R. C. Sproul "If God cared only about religious activities, then the Pharisees would have been heroes of the faith." -Francis Chan "Legalism is a subtle danger because no one thinks of himself as a legalist." - Philip Yancey "The law repels, the gospel attracts. The law shows the distance which there is between God and man; the gospel bridges that awful chasm, and brings the sinner across it." - Charles Haddon Spurgeon "Primary enemy of the Gospel-legalism... People avoid the gospel and try to save themselves by keeping the rules, doing what they´re told, maintaining the standards, and so on (you could call this "front-door legalism")." - Tullian Tchividjian "A pharisee is hard on others and easy on himself, but a spiritual man is easy on others and hard on himself." -Aiden Wilson Tozer

FREEDOM

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of GOD,   John 3:16

FREEDOM,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/4/19   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
You have been set free from sin…”  (Romans 6:18, NIV)

Declare Your Freedom
Today we celebrate Independence Day in America. July 4, 1776 was the day America declared independence from Britain, but the battle for freedom went on until 1783—seven years later. Even though they declared their freedom in 1776, they had to stand and fight for many years before the British would accept and recognize the United States of America. In the same way, we have to be determined to stand against the opposing forces in our lives. We have to declare our freedom from addiction, poverty, sickness and lack. We have to stand and fight until we fully experience that freedom and peace that God has promised. I love what the early colonists did once they signed the Declaration of Independence. They read it out loud in public. They published it in the newspaper. They spread the word. They continued to declare and celebrate even though they were in the midst of the battle. Whatever battle you may be facing today, declare that you are free. Declare that you are an overcomer. Celebrate the victory that is on its way! As you stand strong and declare your freedom, you will experience His victory and you will live in true freedom all the days of your life!

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, thank You for setting me free in every area of my life. I declare today that nothing can hold me back. I declare that I am free from sickness, poverty, lack and addiction. I declare that You have set me free and thank You for freedom in every area of my life.”

My Thoughts:    (Exceptional advice today.)
Just this morning as I was sending out the previous “Worth Considering” about returning to being under the Hebrew Law,  and sent it out.    Then along came a really heavy oppression that hit my right shoulder with a lot of pain and then made me feel sick and want to barf.   I set up and said, what is this?  And went to war with the Blood of the Lamb of God and in 15 minutes is was gone,  PTL…   Does not work all the time like that but at that moment in time, I regained a bit of my freedom.  Have done that also with headaches and ringing in my ears and gained freedom in minutes.  But now, at my age, I am working on finding more faith to get my feet fixed.  So there is a growth in faith.   In Gen 6:3 Moses writes that God has given us a 120 healthy years of life expectancy if we do the maintenance.  About 40 years ago I put a paper together on FREEDOM, as to the homework.    If interested here is the web location:
https://trinity-aloha.org/Contents/10_Steps/10_steps.html
We all like freedom,  the big problem is that we can not tell the lie from the truth.  So we get sold a lot of stuff (fruit) that we think will set us free and it just puts us in deeper bondage.  So really,  all of the things that God tells us not to do are for our freedom.  And all of the things that God tells us to do, help us to be free.   Plus the effects of God’s Freedom sets us up to live with HIM for eternity.   While the effects of the lies that promise us freedom only lead us into death and darkness.  So take some time today to “Consider” what in your life is a lie and death and what in your life is GOD’s TRUTH and FREEDOM.  Old habits are hard to break, but it can be done.  Christ Jesus has assured us that with HIS help He can teach us to walk in the Spirit and not give in to the lusts of the fresh that we inherited from Adam.  That, REALLY,  in HIM we can be retrained, to be a new creation, to be a HOLY PEOPLE.

2 Timothy 1:7 [Full Chapter]

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

But now since you have been set free from sin and have become the slaves of God, you have your present reward in holiness and its end is eternal life.

And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

Yours in HIS Great LOVE!!!,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org
