BRAND NEW,     “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/29/19,   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“And He who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new…”Rev. 21:5,

He Makes All Things New
When God puts a dream in your heart, when He puts a promise on the inside, He deposits within you everything you need to accomplish that dream. He wouldn’t give you the desire to do something without giving you the ability to fulfill it. In fact, the Scripture tells us that God gives us the desires of our heart. In other words, He puts the desire inside of us and then works with us to bring it to pass. Oftentimes people set out to accomplish their dreams, but they face a setback or disappointment, and then they feel as though their time has passed. But know today that no matter where you’ve come from, no matter what’s happened in your past, God wants to make you new. He wants to give you a “do over,” a fresh start. If you feel like you’ve missed opportunities in your life, if you feel like your time has passed, remember that today is a new day. You are a new person, and God has new opportunities in store for you. If one dream has died, it’s time to dream a new dream. He makes all things new in your life today!

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, thank You for making all things new. I give You this day and invite You to have Your way in every area of my life. I choose to receive all the promises You have in store for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen”

My Comments:
While growing up in my world when something was very special it was called “Brand New” which meant the best that could be found to do what it did.  And the 21st Chapter of The Revelation is well worth the time to consider as it is The Creator’s promise to not only make all things “Brand New” but us as well so that we are able to live with HIM in HIS timeless dimension of eternity.  And that promise and vision that He has shared, if we believe it, helps up to prepare for that event while here in time.

We live in a dying world full of corruption and degradation.  But it is an exceptional gymnasium to help us to grow spiritually if we have the long view.   And the changes that are needed start in us as we make Christ Jesus our LORD and receive HIS forgiveness for our pride, rebellion and many sins.  And as we saturate ourselves with the Good Book and find HIS commandments and keep them we begin to change to be in HIS IMAGE and LIKENESS.  Of course many of our friends and family will think we have lost all our marbles and began to shun us and talk stink about us.  When you turn on the light, the night creatures will all head for the darkness.  But some of us want to live in the light and those are the ones that the Holy Spirit will help to not only find the light but grow in the light.  I have a tract that I am very fond of called,  “Let There Be Light”  so will add it.   So getting the “LONG VIEW” is extremely important for finding your way there.  Where there is no vision, the people die.   LIFE is not about all the stuff, but in following the light to God.   He is LIGHT and in HIM there is no darkness at all.

Be ye followers of the light and make Heaven your ultimate home.  Be Blessed in your day,  Ken<><

Let There Be Light
And God said, let there be light and there was light: (1).   Arise, shine: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee (2).    Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light (3). This is the message which we have heard and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (4).   He that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God  (5).   If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin (6). This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (7).   For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved (8). ACTIONS,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”  7/26/19,   (Found in my mail today.)

Today’s Scripture
…your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over.”1 Peter 3:1,

Win Them By Your Actions
Oftentimes we try to “win” people over by telling them all about what we know or explain how they should act. We may have good intentions and really want to help people, but in reality, it’s our life of excellence and integrity that speaks to the hearts of others. In this particular Scripture, Peter is writing to women who received salvation after they were married and whose husbands were not yet believers, but the principle applies to every believer. The first thing people should notice about us is our love, patience, kindness, gentleness, strength and joy. People are going to know that we’re believers when we’re helping other people, meeting needs, and blessing people with our words and actions. We were created to make a difference in the lives of others through our love for them. True love is seen in our actions—giving our time, our money, an encouraging word. When you show love, you are showing God to the world.

Prayer for today:
Father in heaven, thank You for Your kindness which leads people to repentance. Help me display Your characteristics of love and goodness so that others will turn to You. Thank You for choosing to use me. I surrender every area of my life to You.  “Father, thank You for Your Word which is alive and powerful! I set my mind on Your promises and choose to declare what You say about me. Thank You for Your faithfulness as I move forward in the good plan You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
First off, only true Christians are concerned about the LOST.  So if you have no concern about the salvation of the lost you might want to go back and check out your spiritual foundations.  If you truly understand what hell and heaven are all about and that Christ Jesus is the only way to be saved, you will be very deeply concerned about the lost and especially those of your own family.

We all know that “Actions speak better than words.”   In fact it was totally due to a young mans actions that I became interested in GOD’s Holy Truth and was saved in 1955.  But that was only the starting point.  The Word of God must come along at the same time or closely following the action.  There must came a time in the experience of a soul that there is faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus for salvation and the yealding of that soul to Christ Jesus as LORD (Master, Absolute Authority.)   There is no way around it.

Peter teaches us this way:  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear,  1 Peter 3:15

Paul adds:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.  2 Tim.3:15=17

So if you really walk in the GOSPEL OF CHRIST JESUS,  You should also learn to be able to share it as well in the Holy Scriptures.  Actions alone will not set the captive free.

WITNESS, SALT & LIGHT

SALT & LIGHT,     “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/25/19    (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture

Win Them By Your Actions

So let your light shine, be fun to be with, be good-natured, be kind. You are the salt of the earth. Make people thirsty for what you have. Behind the scenes, pray for their salvation and be ready to share the message of the gospel when the time is right. Remember, actions speak louder than words. Be an example of God’s love so you can effectively win others to Him!

A Prayer for Today

My Thoughts:
There are two sides to the same coin,  the above is one side of the coin, the other side is the Salt & Light. the sharing of the Gospel.  The Good News of GOD’s plan of redemption and restoration.  Either without the other is of little value.   So a few scriptures on both sides of the same coin of GOD’s TRUTH.  St Paul taught:  Let your speech at all times be gracious and pleasant, seasoned with salt, so that you will know how to answer.  Col.4:6.  And: Jesus taught:  “You are the [a]salt of the earth; but if the salt has [b]lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery].  14 “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.”  Matt.5:13-15… 

So we, as the Disciples of Chriat Jesus are to make the real spiritual world to be more real and palatable with Holy Spirit salt and help keep folks from falling over themselves into hell by turning on the light of GOD…

Apostle Paul puts it this way:    “But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher (messenger)? 15 And how will they preach unless they are commissioned and sent [for that purpose]? Just as it is written and forever remains written,  “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!    ”16 But they did not all pay attention to the good news [of salvation]; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”  Rom.10:14-16

We each have the ability to share the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel of Christ Jesus where ever we walk.  The preacher or messenger can be anyone who truly believes the message…   It is Good News…  It is deliverance from eternal darkness.  I would share that with my worst enemy.  GOD also does not want any to perish but HE also has to respect our free will.  In this life time only we have the opportunity for real change and to be able to get ready to live with GOD, if we want to.

So thus the example of Christ Jesus and Sharing the Good News go together.  If we live a holy life but do not share why then we receive GOD’s GLORY unto ourselves and that is very dangerous for the sin of pride.  If we share the Gospel without the honest life of a repentant testimony then we are simply hypocrites or actors and probably will not make it.  So if you talk about Jesus you need to walk it.  And if you walk in the “WAY” then you need to be ready to share how to get there.  Many long time Christians have never helped a soul find personal salvation.  On that great day of God’s Judgment, the question will be,  “WHY NOT???”

And of course there will be persecutions from the dark side,  that is one of the proofs that you have the true Light of God, 2 Tim.3:12,  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  No persecution ????  somethings wrong.

WORD OF GOD,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”  7/24/19,    (On my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
Jesus answered, “It is written…”(Matthew 4:4, NIV)

Find Where It’s Written
Anytime you are facing adversity or trials, the first line of defense needs to be in your mind. If you allow fear to come in and take root in your thinking, it becomes a stronghold that affects every part of you. But when thoughts of fear come, you don’t have to “sign for the package,” so to speak. Instead of activating fear by meditating on it, believing it and speaking it, you can turn things around and activate faith. How do you activate faith? Hebrews tells us that the Word of God is living and active, sharper than a double-edged sword, and able to divide soul and spirit. When the enemy tried to tempt Jesus, He gave us the example of how to respond. He said, “It is written!” Instead of going through the day worried, thinking about how it’s not going to work out, start meditating on what God says. Activate faith by speaking the Word of God. Let it sink down inside of you and transform your being. Always remember, His Word is alive, His Word is truth, His Word is your weapon. So take hold of His promises and find where it is written!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your Word which lights my path and transforms my life. I choose today to turn my thoughts toward You. I choose today to meditate on Your Word and Your promises so that I can be empowered to live in the victory You have prepared for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
It has always amazed me that Jesus actually used the words of Moses to back lucifer off on the “Mount of Temptation.”  And then even lucifer started misquoting scripture back to HIM, Matt.4:1-11.   So the Word of God, can not be broken as Apostle John teaches in John 10:34-38, (Psalms. 82:6)  34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?  35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;  36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?  37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.  38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

So if the scriptures can not be broken and The Creator wants to make us like HIM,  what is stopping HIM?   “US”   We set our heels in the sand and say when we see it we will believe it,  and all the while GOD is trying to teach us is that if we will really believe it,  we will then see it.   We want to bounce off our our past,  God says NO!,  we do it anyway.   We micro manage our future tomorrows,  God says,  NO! and we try to do it anyway.   HIS WORD carefully tells us.  “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you,  Matt 6:11.”   And we tend to totally ignore this “WORD OF GOD” that can not be broken…????   In fact we are really not too sure of what “HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS” IS  REALLY ALL ABOUT ????  Jesus taught:   He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  John 14:21.  (Sanctification is a time process and not automatic.)

Been to Church much of my life and don’t ever remember being taught on the JESUS COMMANDMENTS.” In fact some have even felt negative about teaching on that?  BBBut! ???  HE IS LORD…!  Just might be time well spent to consider doing just that and making yourself up a daily report card to see how you are doing each day?  I know that Jesus included 9 of the BIG TEN of Moses but the list is much longer than that.  How about the one,  loving your enemies or the one of doing good to those who dispitefully (wrongly) use you to name just a couple more?  And oh yes, how about the Extra Mile, rather than shaving time at work by being just a little late and leaving a bit early?  Wonder where Jesus is?   Probably waiting for you way up ahead.  (A little help attached today.)

So read the WORD OF GOD as “THE WORD OF GOD” and not as a possibility.  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the WORD of GOD….  So we need to get the wax out of our ears and start seeking GOD’s TRUTH directly from the WORD of GOD and not from 2nd or 3rd +++ hand sources about the WORD of GOD.   We need to keep the baby of God’s Holy Truth but throw out the bath water.

WORDS,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/23/19    (Across my desk this morning)

Today’s Scripture
Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.”  (Proverbs 12:25, NLT)

Let the Encouragement Flow
When you see someone who is struggling, a coworker who is discouraged, a friend who is not up to par, how do you respond? Our words can be what keeps a person going; our compliments can put a spring back into their step. Now more than ever, we need to automatically let the encouragement flow. We need to tell others how much we love them, how we value them, and tell them that they are talented and creative. Always remember, with your words you carry life-giving water. You carry hope, healing, encouragement and new beginnings, and you can pour it out everywhere you go. Today, choose to speak encouragement. Choose to speak victory and faith into others’ lives. Instead of telling people what they’re doing wrong, instead of pointing out all their faults, find what they are doing right. Focus on the good. There are already enough critical, judgmental people in the world. Let’s be people who lift up others and restore them. Let’s be the light of Jesus in the world.

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, thank You for speaking through me. Thank You for using me to be a blessing to others. Thank You for encouraging my heart as I find ways to encourage the people around me. I love You and bless Your holy Name. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Of course,  God does not include lying in the encouragement nor the bearing a false witness.  Some folks always seem to be a crowd of witnesses when the speak,  that does not work either.  It is very interesting as to how much is said about WORDS in the Holy Scripture.  Even one of the names of GOD in the Trinity is “The Word of God.”  So let take time and review a few of the scriptures concerning WORDS.   In Proverbs 18:21 we are reminded:  Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].   James in 3:4-6 puts it this way:    4 Likewise, look at the ships: though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the impulse of the helmsman determines.5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and it can boast of great things. See how much wood or how great a forest a tiny spark can set ablaze!6 And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depraving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth (the cycle of man’s nature), being itself ignited by hell (Gehenna).

So we get the picture that in the beginning.  In the creation what we say was to be like what the “Word of God” would say or as Jesus would say.   But in the Adamic rebellion, perversion change that to evil.  And then Jesus came to help us be restored to our original design plan and we need to learn to become in the image and likeness of God again.  So it does not mean that we can not judge righteous judgment but that in that righteous judgment we should lean into the Holy Spirit to speak the truth in love.  To speak for edification, exhortion and comfort as St. Paul encourages us to in 1 Cor.14:3.    And of course there are times that we can be anointed to speak with rebuke, reproof and exhortation as  St. Paul instructs Timothy in 2 Tim.4:2 but of course also with love and to help a soul gain the light of GOD.  Here again it must be in the Holy Spirit to be positive.  Paul also tell Timothy:  “As for those who are guilty and persist in sin, rebuke and admonish them in the presence of all, so that the rest may be warned and stand in wholesome awe and fear.”  This is not easy to do as we must be sure to be totally doing what the Holy Spirit is guiding us to do and not be on a personal vendetta.

So the big issue is to learn to bring our tongue and what we say, totally under the control of the Holy Spirit and to Christ Jesus as LORD.  That we do not allow our old nature and carnal man access to our tongue at all for any negative purposes.  I lost 1/2 of my vocabulary when I became a Christian in 1955.  Fully 1/2 of my vocabulary was profanity from the Army.  I had to learn to talk all over again.   Now I am learning to take control of my attitudes in talking and also concerning foolish jesting.  That I quit using stories to elevate myself or to put someone in “their place.”  That I quit confessing what I see,  that I learn to confess my faith with my tongue as to what God anoints and directs me to do.

Like James teaches,  the tongue is the most difficult of our members to bring under control.  Seems that may be why a new prayer language is usually the first evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit for power for a Christian.  Special Power is given to the obedient in the 9 gifts of the Spirit to accomplish the work of faith that the Holy Spirit has assigned us to do.  Christ Jesus said,  “The Things that I do ye shall do and greater things than these shall you do because I go to My Father.”  John 14:12…  We are in a learning curve to learn how to do just that,  if we will allow it.

SOURCE,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/22/19    (Across my desk this morning and really worth considering.)

Today’s Scripture
It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak.”   (2 Corinthians 4:13, NIV)

Believe and Declare
I know a man who was believing to pay his house off. It was a standard thirty-year mortgage, and he had twenty-three years left. In the natural, there was no way he could do it. But he was bold enough to say, “Father, thank You that You are Jehovah Jireh; the Lord my provider. I know that my job is not my source. You are my source. It may look impossible, but I know You can do the impossible.” Several years later, he received an inheritance from a family member whom he had never met before. He didn’t even know they were related. He was able to not only pay his house off, but he paid a friend’s house off as well. What was that? Explosive blessings

Friend, when you believe God, you position yourself for a miracle. When you obey His commands, you set yourself under the open windows of heaven. When you declare His Word, you activate His power. Keep standing, keep believing, keep speaking and see the victory and blessing He has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your Word which is alive and powerful! I set my mind on Your promises and choose to declare what You say about me. Thank You for Your faithfulness as I move forward in the good plan You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Comments:
This is so true,  we tend to limit what God can do but placing our faith on what we know or can see. Some times family members see the eldest as their source and simply wait for an inheritance.   Or a wife may be pushing her husband to make sure she is financially OK if he dies first.   Even seeing the Company or Boss as your source creates negative undercurrents.  This undercurrent  of unbelief misses the abundance that GOD has promised us if we see HIM as our source and please HIM with the way that we live our lives on earth.    

In Matt.6:32 Jesus teaches us:   (For after all hese things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.  33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. )

And Apostle Paul teaches us in Hebrews 11:  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

And Apostle John taught in 1 John 3:21-23:   Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.  22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.  23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

So the bottom line is IF we live in humility and obedience to all that we know to do that is right before God then we can get out of the boat and walk on the water with Jesus in securing those things that are needed for us to help HIM in the building of HIS kingdom on earth.  In 1971 I purchased a small piece of land that no one wanted through the Holy Spirit for very little ignoring the problems.  The Holy Spirit told me not to borrow any money to build although I had very little cash money left.  By 1991 it had become a nice 7 bedroom  B&B supernaturally with no interest paid.  In 2017 it was supernaturally sold to loving Christians allowing me to be retired and serve the LORD 24/7.    At 86, I now live in a lovely home in Kealia,  South Captain Cook and by faith have started a House Church.  And this all was made possible by faith.  In the natural none of this could have happened.  When I bought that little lot it was on the side of a 40′ hillside,  full of easements and full of 14′ cane grass.  You could not walk on the land and it deeply flooded every time there was a heavy rain.  All of that went away in the next 20 years, supernaturally.  So it is much much better to be looking towards our heavenly father as our source than the world or each other.  And be sure that your friends and family will think you are nuts.

Saint James  in 1:2-4 puts it this way:  2 Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.  3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.  4 But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [a people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

OBEDIENCE,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    7/19/19,   (Across my desk this morning,  really important.)

Today’s Scripture
The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.” (Proverbs 4:18, ESV)

The Gracious Hand of God
No matter what is happening in your life today, you have a reason to be excited about your future! If things seem dark right now, know that the dawn will soon appear. The key is to remember that you are not here by accident. You have a purpose and destiny from God to fulfill, and He’s not finished with you yet. Your best days are not behind you; your best days are out in front of you. God is a God of increase. He has greater things in store for your future than you have experienced in your past. His dream for your future is so much bigger than your own. He wants to take you places you’ve never dreamed and open doors you’ve never imagined. He wants to bring talent out of you that you didn’t know you had. He wants to increase you and cause you to be a greater blessing to the people around you. Today, get your hopes up and get excited about your future! Begin to thank Him for what He has in store. Keep standing, keep believing and keep moving forward because God has explosive blessings in store for you!

A Prayer for Today
“Heavenly Father, I humbly come to You giving You all that I am. I trust that You have good things in store for my future. I choose to keep my eyes on You no matter what’s happening in my circumstances. I know that You are faithful, and I receive the blessings that You have in store for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
There is that nasty word righteousness/obedience again…  But Righteousness and Obedience are the same.   God has designed and is creating a Kingdom of Righteousness which will be filled only with obedient souls.   We tend to hate to think of obedience in a positive light.  We tend to be such a disobedient people even from birth.  So to bite the bullet, so to say,  to learn to become righteous we must also LEARN to become obedient.  We are made righteous but the blood of Christ Jesus so that we may learn to become obedient. 

So if you are not in an obedience learning school where you are being taught to become obedient you are missing out.  Even Jesus had to learn to be obedient,  Heb.5:8-9.   In fact, only those who learn obedience are allowed to go on into the Kingdom of God.    God our creator is not going to allow Adam’s disobedience to contaminate the universe.  So our Creator has us now in a life school to learn obedience.  But if we have taken a detour to avoid learning obedience we will end in the midst of eternal total darkness for eternity.  Our obedience school is basically the charge of the Holy Spirit at the present time.  But HIS ministry is also assigned and commissioned to the “Elders” to help HIM.   So basically we lean obedience through the Holy Spirit, the Church of Christ Jesus or the law of sowing and reaping.   Husbands and Wives are seen as a single unit by God with the husband having the last say.  Children are to be in obedience to the parents.   The Church of Christ Jesus is to be obedient to the Holy Spirit as the Holy Spirit is to Christ Jesus and as Christ Jesus is to the Heavenly Father.   Of course this is the reverse of the top down dictator system.  God’s school of authority is a school of souls wanting to learn how to become obedient.  Paul puts it this way,  2 Cor. 10:6:  “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”  So it would seem that for us to learn obedience in our life time is very important. So here are some more Bible verses on the subject:
 

Romans 6:16
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

2 Thessalonians 3:14
And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

So it is not in making Christ Jesus, Savior that brings us into GOD’s Kingdom at the end of our lives but in making Christ Jesus LORD and embracing our own school of learning obedience that we find ourselves in.  So if you are not presently in a school of the Holy Spirit learning obedience then you need to find one.  And your old Adamic nature will totally hate the idea.

Matt. 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.  28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  John 14:21

DREAMS & VISIONS,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   7/18/19,   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life…”(2 Peter 1:3, NIV)

It is Finished
It’s easy to get stuck in life thinking you’ve reached your limits. But God wouldn’t have given you a dream without giving you the ability to accomplish it. You have everything you need. Many times the problem is that it’s buried inside. It’s hidden treasure. You have gifts and talents that you’ve not tapped into yet. There is potential that is waiting to be released. When God laid out the plan for your life, He deposited in you the skill, the wisdom, the creativity; everything you need to fulfill your destiny. Now here’s the key: it’s not what you have in you that matters; it’s what you get out. If you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to tap into that hidden treasure. Now the challenge is, “don’t die with the treasure still on the inside.” You have something to offer this world that nobody else can offer. You are unique, one of a kind. You are anointed to be you. Be confident in who God made you to be, knowing that you have what it takes to step into the fullness of your destiny.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I thank You that You will complete what You’ve started in my life. Today I choose to put my trust in You knowing that a shift is coming. I declare that Your will be done in every area of my life in Jesus’ name! Amen!”

My Comments:
The first thoughts that come to mind go back to Proverbs:  18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.  In other words,  our vision or lack of vision controls our action but four vision also must include the Truth  of God, for us,  as found in the New Testament. 

When I was a kid in school in the 1st grade I found that I was rather good looking and that the girls were very interested.  I made friends with two twin blond curly haired girls that were beautiful and remember walking around at recess holding hands with both.  Their boy admirers took offense and beat me up.  And then,  worse, all the kids began to call me “cannot” rather that Kenneth.  That drastically effected my feelings about myself and rather turned me into an introvert.  We have all had situations like that.  I even see it in marriages today where one spouse tries to keep the other in tow and under control with condemnation.  Never a positive word less they should get out from under control and become dangerous to the status quo. 

But the LORD is not like that.  His vision for us to to help us to become like Jesus.  The word is “like” not the “same as.”  We are all unique and designed for different purposes.  If we find out from the HOLY SPIRIT what we were designed for and get HIS vision firmly in our heart, we will be happy campers.  And if we find the right life partner with the same vision it makes us 5 times stronger than only being by ourselves.

So how do we get to where our vision is alive and from God from where we are now.  It is simple,  it is through child like humility and obedience in ingesting the Word of God and allowing the authority that GOD has blessed to assist us.  Godly authority truly watches for our souls to be found in Christ Jesus and connected to HIM.  God Authority is into Kingdom Building and not Empire Building.   It is simple but not easy.  Our Adamic nature does not die easily.   It take a good strong vision from God and the power of the Holy Spirit to be able to take our Adamic lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life and throw them into a casket and nail the lid shut.  Of course, in the resurrection, this Adamic nature will finally and totally be separated from us to never rule over us again,  ever.  Romans 6 –  8  …  But for our life time, it is a daily battle and an exercise of our freewill.  And only with a strong vision for HIS KINGDOM come, can we make it.  “What does not kill you, only makes you stronger.”  The Church that is finally “Raptured” will be powerful.  Rev. 12:11….  and a perfect match for Christ Jesus as LORD.

PROPHESY

Aloha Dear Saints of God, 
I Received the following in my mail this morning and thought that Friday evaning we might spend some time on Biblical Prophesy,  (Eschatology)  if that would be of interest to you.  Of course we are open to any and all questions at any time.   Frankly,  from GOD’s point of view I believe we may  still a separate Kingdom that is occupied.  If true, this prophesy may not include Hawaii.  But we still need a very strong Holy Spirit Revival of Righteousness in Hawaii to avoid a major judgment.   Puna may just be a foretaste of what is ahead if we do not wise up and become Spiritually sensitive.  “The Life of the Land is Perpetuated in Righteousness.”   is a very valid observation by the former Alii of Hawaii.

Learning what happened in 1819 is a must.   Hawaii is the uttermost part of the earth from Jerusalem.

FALL OF BABYLON – a VISION 

by Darren Smith (1 Jun 09).    The Lord kept me up most of the night bringing a word for me to   share and to share now. Many times I wait until I have prayed over   what I hear in my spirit, but I can't wait to send this word out.            Last night while praying before I went to bed, The Lord gave me a   vision that really rattled me. In the vision I saw this land split into   four parts with each one under its own flag. Each region had terrible  destruction and many people were dead. As I looked over the   destruction I was crying and the Lord asked me, "Why are you   crying over the fall of Babylon? As a matter of fact, why have you   been praying for the healing of Babylon?"    In this vision I didn't have an answer and the Lord opened a scroll   and started reading off the indictments against our country, but   before each one he clearly called the USA Babylon.            The list was long and to the point, with such points as the killing   of several generations of unborn children. Beside this charge He   added that these babies had been sacrificed to the god of self. The   list also included greed, idolatry, pride, fornication, and many others,   so many I could not even read them all.       As I looked at the list of charges I was overwhelmed and broken   by the fact that we live every day in a nation that is so far removed   from God and in total opposition to the Kingdom of God, yet we are   comfortable here. We have become just like Lot living in Sodom,   the prosperity that the nation offers us has blinded us from the evil   that rules this land. We complain about how bad it is but still stay  attached to it with every ounce of strength we have.            The Lord told me to look at the nation as He sees it, not through   my eyes but through His. I could not look too long before I had to   agree and repent of loving Babylon. Once I repented the Lord told   me to prepare for the fall as time is running out. I must preach the   Gospel of The Kingdom not the Gospel of America...     Civil unrest will become common place in large cities first but will   spill over into the rural areas as well... Natural disasters will stretch   the resources of the nation to the breaking point and the government   will use this to take freedom away...     In this vision there was a great wasteland that appeared to be in   the center of the nation where everything was wiped out and I saw   masses of people wandering without direction. They were dirty and   ragged, almost dead and there was no relief in sight.  Most of you   reading this think I'm crazy I'm sure, but I must be faithful to share   what I'm given to share.            The Lord told me to cry from the mountain tops to repent and seek   the Lord now!! We don't have any more time to seek after the things   of this world... We must stop living like we have all the time in the   world.
