TRUTH,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”   1/16/20,   (Across my desk this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“So then, take your stand! Fasten truth around your waist like a belt. Put on God’s approval as your breastplate…”
(Ephesians 6:14, GW)
Live Approved

Every morning when you get up, you need to put on God’s approval as your breastplate and say, “Father, thank You that You are pleased with me.” You have to put it on. It’s not going to happen automatically. Thoughts will try to convince you that you don’t deserve God’s blessing, and you’ll start feeling condemned, unworthy, and not expect anything good. You have to put on God’s approval to protect your heart.

Something powerful happens when you say, “I like who I am. I have some faults and failures, but I’m changing and growing. Since God approves me, I approve myself.” When you put on the breastplate of God’s approval, chains of guilt, chains of inferiority, chains of low self-esteem are broken in the unseen realm, and God’s favor is released. God is going to keep making and molding you, and you’re going to break free from things that are holding you back and become everything He’s created you to be.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can put on the breastplate of Your approval to cover my heart because You have made me righteous through Christ Jesus. Thank You that I can feel good about who I am. I believe that You are pleased with me today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Ken’s Thoughts,
TRUTH is an interesting word, it conveys the concept of absolute.   Truth is mentioned 224 times in the King James Bible.  John alone mentioned it 40 times.  In the Psalms it is mentioned 41 times.  David wrote:  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Ps.25:5  &  All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. Ps.25:10 &  I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. Ps.40:10.  &  O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. Ps.43:3. Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. Ps. 86:11.  This is a profound study through the Psalms that is worth the effort on BibleGateway.com and easy to do.

In John the first thing that he writes:

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.  Jn:1:14-17.   Pilate was recorded as saying this:”What is Truth?” in John 18:38 after Jesus had told him:  “Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” Jn.18:37….

So we have two words of great meaning for us  Truth & Hypocrisy (To Lie or act).  So how much of our life is really in Christ Jesus in HIS TRUTH and how much is a lie and hypocrisy or acting… In the resurrection all lies shall be exposed.  In fact in the Revelation liars don’t make it into the Kingdom of God.  “ I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”  Rev.22:13-15.  So either our lies are forgiven through repentance and the blood of Christ Jesus or we are still living them and they are yet to be openly judged.  A lot of our hypocrisy comes though fear.  Fear that if we really told the Truth we would not be liked and would be rejected.  And that could be very true but it still does not make a lie acceptable to God.  Check out how Jesus feels about lies/hypocrisy in Matt.23.  As Christians we have the fullness of TRUTH in Christ Jesus,  so what are we doing with it?  Is HIS TRUTH the core of our being or are we still sliding around the corners and sweeping stuff under the carpet?  The process of changing to become in the image of Christ Jesus is call Sanctification.  If you are a Christian, this should be a work of the Holy Spirit in progress.  And if you are on your “growing edge” your life is approved and blessed of GOD.

LIGHT OF GOD,    “WORTH CONSIDERING”    1/15/20,   (Across my desk this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“When darkness overtakes him, light will come bursting in…”    (Psalm 112:4, TLB)
Light Comes Bursting In

We know that God is always with us, but the psalmist says that in times of difficulty, God is very present. You’ll never see the fullness of who God is if you’re in the light all the time. It’s in the storms, in the difficulties that God is most present. When you don’t see a way out and it’s dark, you’re in prime position for God’s light to come bursting in. It’s going to happen suddenly—a burst of favor, of healing, of strength. You didn’t see it coming. One moment you were struggling with debt, and suddenly—one contract, one promotion, one good break—you have more than enough. What happened? The light came bursting in. The God who is a very present help in trouble said, “Your night season was only temporary. It’s time for your breakthrough. Now it’s time to propel you forward.” God is about to do that for you.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that in times of trouble when I don’t see the way out and it’s dark, that You come bursting in with light and direction. I believe that You, the Creator of the universe, have highly favored me and are about to propel me forward. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
In the New Testament light is mentioned about 94 times and in the Old 215.  So the concern of God is to bring us into HIS light.  Darkness is also mentioned 142 times with concern that we know the difference and stay away from it.   I once had a dream/vision? of being in a pitch black room so dark that nothing could be seen.  Christ Jesus came in through a black door on my right and walked through the black room in all of HIS brightness and made a bright white door in the left end of the room and left.  Lucifer came right behind him with pastel colors painting the room with different colors:  Like green for greed, pink for passion, yellow for money or pride and so on till the whole room was a rainbow of colors and left using the black door still the same.  So now as a soul goes into the room there is only really two doors in and out but lots of colors to choose from that go no where.  Not that the colors themselves were evil but could become an obsession.  Of course white light is made of three primary colors violet, yellow and red.   And they seem to match the ministry of Christ Jesus as Priest, King and Savior.   So if we walk in the light and He is in the light we have fellowship with each other and HE keeps us clean from all sin.

So in your daily walk consider that Christ Jesus is your priest between you and the Heavenly Father,  your LORD or boss and the one who saved you from GOD’s judgment for your sins.   If we walk in the light we can make HES ministry a lot easier.   And the world is totally headed for the darkness and WRATH of God,  you really don’t want to go there.  So do get fearful about it.  But do try to help others find there way to HIS Light.  There is plenty of room for anyone interested.  So stay in the Word of God and strengthen your faith to become like Jesus.  This is the original vision of God in that HE has made the way for us to become in HIS IMAGE and LIKENESS and be HIS forever family.

GOD’S POWER

GOD’S  POWER,  ” WORTH CONSIDERING”  1/14/20,   (Across my desk today from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“…Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me…”  (2 Corinthians 12:9, NLT)
The Real You

We live in a society that stresses image. It’s easy to go through life trying to impress people, to show them that we’re strong, that we have it all together. It’s good to carry ourselves with confidence, but sometimes we have such a need to keep up our image that we put on a mask and start pretending. We can’t let someone see that we have weaknesses, that we’re struggling in areas, and we don’t have all the answers. But the Scripture says that if we go around wearing masks, God’s power is not going to show up. God won’t bless the ideal you, the pretend you, the future you; He’s looking for the real you.

Remember that there’s power in vulnerability. When you empty yourself out, God can fill you. But if you’re full of yourself—acting, pretending, keeping up your image—there’s no room for God. If you’ll humble yourself and get real, God will help you to grow.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I don’t have to hide my weaknesses or mask my shortcomings. Thank You that Your power goes to work in me when I get real and honest. I humbly admit that I don’t have it all together, but I’m glad You’re still working on me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts,
My does this put our pride in the garbage can.  Admit my weaknesses so I can walk in the power of God???   What a paradox.  Just like John writes, you have to die to this world to be accepted in the next,  John 12:24-26.  That if you friends with the world then you are an enemy with God.  For all that is in the world shall parish but he that does the will of GOD will abide forever.  Hypocrisy is the key word here. which means to be an actor.  The act of pretending to be something that you are not.  Before honor is humility.  God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.  And it works both ways.  Today I was bringing home a box springs for a full bed,   Heading home and it started really clouding over as far as I could see down the coast and sprinkling.   So I rebuked the rain but drove back to Home Depot for a tarp and parked in the covered loading area.   Bought the tarp,  got it all tied down nicely for the 20 miles to Kealia through Hohaunau (place of the rains)  and not one drop of rain all the way home.   So it is really difficult for me to get all of the other voices on hold so to only hear the Word of God but even then I step away and wonder,  was that really God or just me talking to myself.   So this area of walking in power does take some practice in humility in finding the real me and then the real HIM. 

Much of what we do that seems right to us does not pass the “good” filter of the Holy Spirit and has Pride or Fear or Lust in it so it is good to check the reason for the reason.  Many times, because we want to be liked, we say things out of fear to maintain a friendship or to keep some one from being angry with us.  It is called appeasement and it only makes a bully grow stronger, or the pride grow larger or the lust perhaps less noticeable.but more pronounced.  Paul wrote about in his letter to the church at Corinth:

 For while Jews [demandingly] ask for signs and miracles and Greeks pursue philosophy and wisdom,23 We preach Christ (the Messiah) crucified, [preaching which] to the Jews is a scandal and an offensive stumbling block [that springs a snare or trap], and to the Gentiles it is absurd and utterly unphilosophical nonsense.24 But to those who are called, whether Jew or Greek (Gentile), Christ [is] the Power of God and the Wisdom of God.25 [This is] because the foolish thing [that has its source in] God is wiser than men, and the weak thing [that springs] from God is stronger than men.26 For [simply] consider your own call, brethren; not many [of you were considered to be] wise according to human estimates and standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth.27 [No] for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame.28 And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn and insignificant and branded and treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose and bring to nothing the things that are,29 So that no mortal man should [have pretense for glorying and] boast in the presence of God.30 But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].31 So then, as it is written, Let him who boasts and proudly rejoices and glories, boast and proudly rejoice and glory in the Lord.  1 Cor.1:22-31

FAITH OF DANIEL

FAITH OF DANIEL,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”  1/13/20,   (Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“…Not a scratch was found on him, for he had trusted in his God.”  (Daniel 6:23, NLT)
He’s Got This

In Daniel 6 is the story of how the enemies of Daniel conspired to get him arrested and thrown into the lions’ den for refusing to stop worshipping God. Daniel’s attitude was, “God has me in the palms of His hands. He controls the lions.” He stayed in peace. Everyone else expected the hungry lions to tear Daniel apart, but God supernaturally closed the mouths of the lions. He made Daniel unappetizing!

God never promised that we wouldn’t have difficulties, but He did promise that He would give us strength for every challenge and take what was meant for harm and use it for our advantage. You may have a good reason to worry about something, but there’s a simple phrase you have to get down in your spirit: God’s got this. He already has a solution. Live out of a place of peace and trust. It’s just a matter of time before you see things turn around in your favor.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your promise that You can take the things that are meant to harm me and use them for my good. I receive this word and choose to remain at rest, knowing You’ve got this. I declare that there is no God like You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
Daniel was/is a uniquely single minded and devoted man like Moses, Abraham Jesus and John.  But were they given more talents and blessings than are available to us,  I don’t think so.  My feeling is that any one of us may have that same potential.  The problem is that we also have a steady diet of the world, flesh and devil coming at us all the time.  And we are lied to by the enemy so much that we begin to believe the lies.  Our fist impression about good or bad is usually the best one.   But then we still listen and after the sales pitch buy into it like Eve.  In the beginning she had it wired, in fact,  she even added “Not to Touch” which is not in the original statement of God.  But the rational of lucifer was so eloquent that it got her attention to the fruit as really good to eat, (that fruit was better tasting than any thing else.)   Wonderful looking,   Could make you as wise as God Himself.  And after all, God really does not love you as HE is keeping the best for HIMSELF.  And even today we find that false advertising has not changed much.  We are bombarded every day with,  looks good, tastes good, make you look sharp.  You got to take care of yourself, GOD really does not care,  Look at the mess of the world.   And little do we realize that we are the one’s who have created the mess.  We have a free well and it is what it is because of the lies of false publicity that we obey most are broke and the world is a mess.  The average family now has about $10,000. in credit card debt. with a monthly interest tag of $125.+   Which is about what is left over from the months wages after paying off all of the things needed to survive.   And for many that leaves -0- or less for unknowns.  And many things bought have by then even ceased to exist.   It is easy for me to say no,  as I was brought up in the Great Depression when the nation went bankrupt in 1929 and the banks went on a holiday in 1932.   The same conditions exist today for a bigger bankruptcy in the U.S.   Can it get worse, yes.  Can you survive????

So is it possible for us to become unique like Daniel,  YES.   Christ Jesus has paved the way for us to elect to become like HIM and has given us the power of faith to do so by HIS grace.  John 17:18-26  This is the original intent of our Creator God.   He wants to help us to change into HIS image and likeness,  like Jesus.  The problem is in having us trade or comfortable lazy Adamic nature for the nature of God.  We really have been brain washed by the enemy that it can not happen.  We are told it is not possible.  We are told that it would not be any fun.  We are told that we would loose all of our friends.  We are sold a bill of goods that GOD is not trustworthy but is a ripe off artist.  And you know the line………….. But Jesus prayed for us: 

Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the   world.19 And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate, consecrate) Myself, that they als  o may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated, made holy) in the Truth.20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.24 Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.25 O just and righteous Father, although the world has not known You and has failed to recognize You and has never acknowledged You, I have known You [continually]; and these men understand and know that You have sent Me.26 I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very [a]Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them.  John 17:18-26     (Will God answer this prayer?)    You bet that HE will as HE always did.

And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love [a]turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear [b]brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. 1 John 4:16-18

Today’s Scripture
“…Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
(John 11:40, NIV)
Something Better

In John 11, Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus that their brother, Lazarus, was very sick. They thought He would come right away and heal Lazarus. But days passed, and Lazarus died. When Jesus showed up, Mary and Martha were so upset. They said, “Jesus, if You had been here, our brother would still be alive.” Against all apparent odds, Jesus went to the tomb and raised Lazarus from the dead.

Sometimes God will wait on purpose till the odds look way against you. You’re ready to bury that dream or promise. You don’t see any way it could work out. But God’s ways are not our ways. Mary and Martha prayed for a healing, but God had a resurrection in mind. Maybe God’s not going to answer your prayers the way you thought. Maybe He has something better than you ever dreamed. Trust Him. Odds don’t determine what He can and cannot do.”
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are the keeper of my dreams. I trust that You are totally for me when all the odds are stacked against me. I believe that You are working behind the scenes and bringing a resurrection to what I thought was dead. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Thoughts:
I am reminded of the scripture in John 17:18-24,   18 Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.19 And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate, consecrate) Myself, that they also may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated, made holy) in the Truth.20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.24 Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

And we go back to scripture for the meaning of glory: John 2:9-11,   And when the manager tasted the water just now turned into wine, not knowing where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—he called the bridegroom  10 And said to him, Everyone else serves his best wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then he serves that which is not so good; but you have kept back the good wine until now!  11 This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].

So we see by scripture that GLORY and POWER are the same… So we are looking into the supernatural power of God to change even water into good wine…  And where was the power seen in John 17?  The Lord’s Prayer for us to be in unity and love in HIS truth, John 17:22.  This is not easy to do.  It is not the normal agree to disagree.  That does not work as per Apostle Paul thoughts: [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.5 For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them]. 2 Tim.4-6…. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.  2 Tim.1:7  AMPC

This is good stuff for your prayer time:  Jesus gave HIS power (Glory) to the Early Church,  we still have it,  we need to find it and use it to win the world to Jesus.

Today’s Scripture
“He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Heb.11:6
What’s in Your Picture Frame?

The greatest key to living a life filled with God’s blessings and favor is to keep God first place in your life. When you make it your highest priority to please Him, you can expect to live a blessed, fulfilled life. Notice who God rewards. Not people who half-heartedly seek Him or who only seek Him when they have a problem. God rewards people who diligently seek Him. Psalm 34:10 adds, “Those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.” When you seek God daily with your whole heart, you won’t be able to outrun the good things of God.

God has a reward that’s just waiting to be released to you, but you have to meet the demands of the reward. God makes it so easy: “If you will just seek Me—if you will get up in the morning and thank Me, read My Word, and make an effort to please Me—I will give you the reward.”
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can come to You by faith, knowing that as I seek You, You will reward me. Thank You for the blessings and favor that are mine as I keep You first place in my life. I believe that I will lack no good thing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
The whole of God’s Creation is made and held together by faith.  Like Hebrews 11 teaches us that “FAITH” is both substance and evidence. Our Creator God is in the process of trying to teach us how faith really works.  But often we say we believe in God,  (Intelligent design,)  but in our efforts and life we totally ignore HIM and what HE has given us to find in HIM.  And even when we know exactly what HE wants of us, we go and find something else to do.  So basically at most we usually have a touch of head understanding but not Heart Faith and that really does not work. And then we blame God when our buildings fall apart.

Of course the head is the gateway to the heart.  Truth in, truth out,  Junk in,  junk out.  As a person really thinks in their heart of hearts that is who they really are.  We are instructed that true faith comes by ingesting the Word of God.   So where is your comfort zone.  There is an old song called “Charity” that says,  “Love sings, when Jesus prevails.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgHXvOzqPMQ   When Jesus prevails in your life do you feel like singing?  1 Cor. 13 is a great chapter on the nature of God for us to consider along with the 11th Chapter of the Book of Hebrews.  So every day, we are encouraged to keep the Holy Spirit in the primary place of helping us in deciding what to do with the day.  The enemy and our friends and even our family will come with other things for us to do.  And if we go with our emotions or our flesh the time is wasted.  

Here are a few scriptures to consider for your time:   Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. But immorality (sexual vice) and all impurity [of lustful, rich, wasteful living] or greediness must not even be named among you, as is fitting and proper among saints (God’s consecrated people).  Eph.5:1-3,   “Therefore He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light.15 Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people),16 Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil.  Eph.5:14-16.   Furthermore, brethren, we beg and admonish you in [virtue of our union with] the Lord Jesus, that [you follow the instructions which] you learned from us about how you ought to walk so as to please and gratify God, as indeed you are doing, [and] that you do so even more and more abundantly [attaining yet greater perfection in living this life].  2 For you know what charges and precepts we gave you [[b]on the authority and by the inspiration of] the Lord Jesus.  3 For this is the will of God, that you should be consecrated (separated and set apart for pure and holy living): that you should abstain and shrink from all sexual vice,  1 Thess. 4:1-3

What’s in Your Picture Frame?

Many of us were raised by loving fathers who did their best, but no father was ever perfect. Others were raised by abusive, violent, neglectful, critical fathers, or fathers who abandoned them. Most fathers never planned on passing down dysfunction and insecurity to their children, but all of us have been wounded in some way by our father’s mistakes, wrongs, and failures.

Where you come from is not who you are. You are a child of the Most High God, and it is His good pleasure to give you the kingdom. If you’ll turn to the Good Father and get your approval, your validation, your love from Him, then despite what your earthly father did or didn’t do, He will make it up to you and pay you back for the injustices. The Good Father takes pleasure in not only helping you overcome, but He’ll show you favor that thrusts you years ahead. Start going to the Good Father.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that it is Your good pleasure to give me the kingdom. I declare that as Your child I am coming to You for my love and approval, and I’m asking You to pour out Your favor and healing upon me. Thank You that I can receive it now. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

 
My Thoughts:
So what is the Kingdom?   Any one like to explore new places?  Most of us do.  I have enjoyed exploring a little of Canada, Mexico, Japan, Samoa and other states in the U.S. especially New Mexico and New York.  So Christ Jesus went to the Kingdom and back in one day.  So in the Kingdom universal travel through the universe of GOD has no space/time constrictions.  And what is out there to explore,  I have no idea.  But New Jerusalem is 1500 miles square at the base and 1500 miles high we are told.  And Jesus also told us that in The Father’s house were many dwelling places and that Jesus was creating a beautiful space for us.  We are also told that our Father wants us to learn to be Kings, Priests and Ambassadors for HIM.   I suspect then that this is not for each other but for other beings in HIS universe that HE wants to teach about HIS LOVE.   As lucifer has been the cause of much of our pride and rebellion and he was/is the covering cherub of this solar system it also seems his influence may have only been limited to our solar system so that the rest of the universe (Kingdom) may not have been so infected with pride and rebellion.  On earth we are presently in a hot house for spiritual growth. This is only a small glimpse.  And it is in heart believing the precious promised of God that we make it into HIS Kingdom of Righteousness.  Do you know them?

In the Revelation of Christ Jesus,  Chapter 19 – 22 covers this new beginning for us and tell us who is allowed in and who is not.  One of the verses that catches my attention is Rev.22:13-15:     “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last (the Before all and the End of all).14 Blessed (happy and [a]to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments, (Rev. 12:11) that they may have the authority and right to [approach] the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city.15 [But] without are the dogs and those who practice sorceries (magic arts) and impurity [the lewd, adulterers] and the murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and deals in falsehood (untruth, error, deception, cheating).)   AMPC

Fully Loaded

When God created you, He put in you everything you need to fulfill your destiny. God is precise. He’s intentional down to the smallest detail, and when He laid out the plan for your life, He studied it carefully. He thought about what you would need, and what it would take to get you there, then He matched you with your world. He gave you the talent you need, the creativity, the strength. You’re the right size, and you have the right looks, the right personality, and the right family.

Now don’t go around feeling shortchanged, as though somehow you’re lacking, you didn’t get enough, or you can’t do what others can do. You are fully loaded and completely equipped for the race that’s been designed for you. Be who God created you to be. You have something to offer the world that nobody else has. Let your gifts shine. You are an original masterpiece.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You created me as a masterpiece down to the smallest detail of what I would need to fulfill Your plan for my life. Thank You that I am fully loaded for the race that’s been designed for me. I declare that I am Your original creation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Yes, The above is very true.  But the problem is that your family, friends, folks at work & church may not tuned into what God has given you.  They are, many times, tuned into what the enemy wants to bring of your life in his jealous rage against GOD and HIS Creation.  Pride and Envy will do this every time.  Lucifer’s Remarks as recorded are very telling as to attitude.  Isaiah 14:12:    How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.*15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;  And also in Ezekiel 28 was given to write this:The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,  2 Son of man, say,  Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

So make note of the attitudes that God does not like and take them to Jesus to be dealt with.   Only Children in Love, Humility and Obedience make it into the Kingdom of God to be HIS family.  God’s purpose and vision is by HIS grace to help us to want to and become like Jesus.  Jesus is the first born among many.  And we have been invited.  But getting ready to attend the Marriage Feast of the Lamb of God does take some prep work for us to do.  And who is the fire in verse 18,  HIS True Church.

*  Think about it,  these verses state that the lucifer felt he knew more that God does.  This is exactly what we do when we take scripture out of context and twist it to support what our flesh wants to do.  We use the Name of GOD in vain to support our vanity.  And we break one of the big 10.  The Bible interprets the Bible,  it is not a matter of personal or progressive interpretation.

What’s in Your Picture Frame?

Every one of us has a picture in our mind of our self, our family, our future. The question is, what does your picture look like? Do you see yourself rising higher, overcoming obstacles, and living an abundant life? Or, do you have a picture of yourself struggling, defeated, addicted, overweight, and never getting good breaks? The pictures you allow in your mind will determine what kind of life you live.

Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” If your vision is limited, your life will be limited. Dare to get a fresh, new vision of victory for your life and trust God to bring it to pass. You don’t have to figure out how it’s going to happen. All you have to do is believe. One touch of God’s favor can bring any dream to pass. But you have to see it on the inside before it will ever come to pass on the outside.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can begin to see myself the way You see me as blessed, prosperous, healthy, strong, talented, and successful. Help me to get the negative images out and the fresh, new vision in. I believe that my vision will become a reality. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
My thoughts on the subject seem to head into:  “How well do I know the will of God and how obedient am I to the Truth that I do know?”  So though the above be true, very true,  so also are the factors of humility and obedience to the vision that God has for me.  What has God called me to do?  Why am I here.  Why was I created.  What is God’s vision for me,  for you?  Otherwise we tend to just gather stuff and security around us and try to live the “comfortable” life.   Sharing Jesus by word, thought and deed is a primary calling on each of us who find our way to HIM.   He has entrusted the GOSPEL into our care for reaching others around us.  It is HIS design for creating an eternal family of righteousness.  We become fitly joined and compacted as we are joined together in HIM.   And in that synthesis of unity we become uniquely more productive.  The scripture share that synergy in this way:  How could one have chased a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had delivered them up?  Duet. 32:30.  In other words the synergy that is supernatural is invested in the King of Kings, The Rock of our salvation:  Isa.28.  It only works when HE is in the mix and HE is the absolute LORD in our efforts and lives.

For a Christian,  it is in Christ Jesus being the LORD of our lives, absolutely.  That HIS Love, Joy and Peace can flow.   And even flow in the midst of the spiritual war going on around us.  The war in the family and especially with spouse and children.  Conflicts in this world abound but in HIM they don’t touch us.  It is only as we try to bring the stuff of this world into HIS Kingdom that we become stressed out and wounded.  We also tend to be easily led astray by emotions and looking for some kind of spiritual support for the flesh, when there is none.  The carnal nature of Adam can only be placed on the Cross of Christ Jesus for judgment.  There is nothing good in the nature that I inherited from Adam.  Paul puts it this way:   For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.  14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Rom.8:13-14

Who’s Your Father?

A while ago there was an advertisement for DNA testing that asked the question, “Who’s the father?” They can take your DNA, and out of the billions of people on earth, the chances of your DNA matching someone who’s not your family are so small that it’s inconceivable. In a similar way, when you gave your life to Christ, the Scripture talks about how you became a new creation. You were born into a new family. Imagine that somehow they could take a sample DNA from your heavenly Father, then a sample DNA from you, and run all the tests. The good news is that it would come back a perfect match. Proven beyond all doubt, you are God’s child. You have His spiritual DNA. Don’t you dare go around thinking that you’re average. Your Father created worlds. You come from a royal bloodline. There’s nothing too much for you. You can accomplish your dreams.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for being my Father and breathing Your life into me. Help me to quit believing the lies that say I’ve reached my limits. I believe and declare that I am a child of the Most High God, and I’m stepping up to the next level. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Humanity was all in Adam in the Creation of Adam.  In the Bible, Adam is listed as a son of God. Lk.3:38.    But Adam renounced that citizenship and choose to be adopted by the fallen angle lucifer, the god of this world.   And Adam took us with him into pride, rebellion and darkness.  You see, in Adam the Creator had also placed a freewill because that is part of GOD’S DNA.  Only with freewill can love exist.  And so for the past 6,000 years of world history, at the core,  it has been about the souls of mankind in giving each of us an opportunity to reverse that original decision of Adam.    Every step of the way has been a decision for humanity between the Light and the Darkness.  Every day you and I are in the valley of decisions as to following Adam or Jesus.   Christ Jesus was the fist to totally break open that Adamic DNA and make it possible for us to totally go for the LIGHT.   He became the 2nd Adam.  And HIS Victory in life and death has given us the opportunity to also restore our original DNA.  We can now change our citizenship from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light as we still have a free will.  We can decide to LOVE God or love our Adamic nature.   We can be king of our life and walk in darkness or we can make Christ Jesus the king of our lives and walk in light.  A decision of this kind only takes seconds to make but then then it has to be reinforced as long as we live. That is why it is so important to know the Holy Scriptures as it is our guide book.   So to be in Christ means a total change of life direction.  So if anyone be in Christ (for real) they obviously will be a new creation and the old things will be passing away and all things will becoming new.  GOD’s original vision was to create us in HIS IMAGE & LIKENESS.  That has never changed.  So how are you doing?  Our Creator really wants to heal and restore your DNA to be able to perfectly live with HIM for eternity.  But is is up to you.
