GOD’S PLANS FOR YOU,  “WORTH CONSIDERING”   1/7/20,  (Across my desk today.)

Today’s Scripture
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago…”    (Ephesians 2:10, NLT)
Fully Loaded

When God created you, He put in you everything you need to fulfill your destiny. God is precise. He’s intentional down to the smallest detail, and when He laid out the plan for your life, He studied it carefully. He thought about what you would need, and what it would take to get you there, then He matched you with your world. He gave you the talent you need, the creativity, the strength. You’re the right size, and you have the right looks, the right personality, and the right family.

Now don’t go around feeling shortchanged, as though somehow you’re lacking, you didn’t get enough, or you can’t do what others can do. You are fully loaded and completely equipped for the race that’s been designed for you. Be who God created you to be. You have something to offer the world that nobody else has. Let your gifts shine. You are an original masterpiece.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You created me as a masterpiece down to the smallest detail of what I would need to fulfill Your plan for my life. Thank You that I am fully loaded for the race that’s been designed for me. I declare that I am Your original creation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Yes, The above is very true.  But the problem is that your family, friends, folks at work & church may not tuned into what God has given you.  They are, many times, tuned into what the enemy wants to bring of your life in his jealous rage against GOD and HIS Creation.  Pride and Envy will do this every time.  Lucifer’s Remarks as recorded are very telling as to attitude.  Isaiah 14:12:    How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.*15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;  And also in Ezekiel 28 was given to write this:The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,  2 Son of man, say,  Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

So make note of the attitudes that God does not like and take them to Jesus to be dealt with.   Only Children in Love, Humility and Obedience make it into the Kingdom of God to be HIS family.  God’s purpose and vision is by HIS grace to help us to want to and become like Jesus.  Jesus is the first born among many.  And we have been invited.  But getting ready to attend the Marriage Feast of the Lamb of God does take some prep work for us to do.  And who is the fire in verse 18,  HIS True Church.

*  Think about it,  these verses state that the lucifer felt he knew more that God does.  This is exactly what we do when we take scripture out of context and twist it to support what our flesh wants to do.  We use the Name of GOD in vain to support our vanity.  And we break one of the big 10.  The Bible interprets the Bible,  it is not a matter of personal or progressive interpretation.

What’s in Your Picture Frame?

Every one of us has a picture in our mind of our self, our family, our future. The question is, what does your picture look like? Do you see yourself rising higher, overcoming obstacles, and living an abundant life? Or, do you have a picture of yourself struggling, defeated, addicted, overweight, and never getting good breaks? The pictures you allow in your mind will determine what kind of life you live.

Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” If your vision is limited, your life will be limited. Dare to get a fresh, new vision of victory for your life and trust God to bring it to pass. You don’t have to figure out how it’s going to happen. All you have to do is believe. One touch of God’s favor can bring any dream to pass. But you have to see it on the inside before it will ever come to pass on the outside.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can begin to see myself the way You see me as blessed, prosperous, healthy, strong, talented, and successful. Help me to get the negative images out and the fresh, new vision in. I believe that my vision will become a reality. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
My thoughts on the subject seem to head into:  “How well do I know the will of God and how obedient am I to the Truth that I do know?”  So though the above be true, very true,  so also are the factors of humility and obedience to the vision that God has for me.  What has God called me to do?  Why am I here.  Why was I created.  What is God’s vision for me,  for you?  Otherwise we tend to just gather stuff and security around us and try to live the “comfortable” life.   Sharing Jesus by word, thought and deed is a primary calling on each of us who find our way to HIM.   He has entrusted the GOSPEL into our care for reaching others around us.  It is HIS design for creating an eternal family of righteousness.  We become fitly joined and compacted as we are joined together in HIM.   And in that synthesis of unity we become uniquely more productive.  The scripture share that synergy in this way:  How could one have chased a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had delivered them up?  Duet. 32:30.  In other words the synergy that is supernatural is invested in the King of Kings, The Rock of our salvation:  Isa.28.  It only works when HE is in the mix and HE is the absolute LORD in our efforts and lives.

For a Christian,  it is in Christ Jesus being the LORD of our lives, absolutely.  That HIS Love, Joy and Peace can flow.   And even flow in the midst of the spiritual war going on around us.  The war in the family and especially with spouse and children.  Conflicts in this world abound but in HIM they don’t touch us.  It is only as we try to bring the stuff of this world into HIS Kingdom that we become stressed out and wounded.  We also tend to be easily led astray by emotions and looking for some kind of spiritual support for the flesh, when there is none.  The carnal nature of Adam can only be placed on the Cross of Christ Jesus for judgment.  There is nothing good in the nature that I inherited from Adam.  Paul puts it this way:   For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.  14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Rom.8:13-14

DNA of GOD

Today’s Scripture
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here”  2 Cor. 5:17
Who’s Your Father?

A while ago there was an advertisement for DNA testing that asked the question, “Who’s the father?” They can take your DNA, and out of the billions of people on earth, the chances of your DNA matching someone who’s not your family are so small that it’s inconceivable. In a similar way, when you gave your life to Christ, the Scripture talks about how you became a new creation. You were born into a new family. Imagine that somehow they could take a sample DNA from your heavenly Father, then a sample DNA from you, and run all the tests. The good news is that it would come back a perfect match. Proven beyond all doubt, you are God’s child. You have His spiritual DNA. Don’t you dare go around thinking that you’re average. Your Father created worlds. You come from a royal bloodline. There’s nothing too much for you. You can accomplish your dreams.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for being my Father and breathing Your life into me. Help me to quit believing the lies that say I’ve reached my limits. I believe and declare that I am a child of the Most High God, and I’m stepping up to the next level. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Humanity was all in Adam in the Creation of Adam.  In the Bible, Adam is listed as a son of God. Lk.3:38.    But Adam renounced that citizenship and choose to be adopted by the fallen angle lucifer, the god of this world.   And Adam took us with him into pride, rebellion and darkness.  You see, in Adam the Creator had also placed a freewill because that is part of GOD’S DNA.  Only with freewill can love exist.  And so for the past 6,000 years of world history, at the core,  it has been about the souls of mankind in giving each of us an opportunity to reverse that original decision of Adam.    Every step of the way has been a decision for humanity between the Light and the Darkness.  Every day you and I are in the valley of decisions as to following Adam or Jesus.   Christ Jesus was the fist to totally break open that Adamic DNA and make it possible for us to totally go for the LIGHT.   He became the 2nd Adam.  And HIS Victory in life and death has given us the opportunity to also restore our original DNA.  We can now change our citizenship from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light as we still have a free will.  We can decide to LOVE God or love our Adamic nature.   We can be king of our life and walk in darkness or we can make Christ Jesus the king of our lives and walk in light.  A decision of this kind only takes seconds to make but then then it has to be reinforced as long as we live. That is why it is so important to know the Holy Scriptures as it is our guide book.   So to be in Christ means a total change of life direction.  So if anyone be in Christ (for real) they obviously will be a new creation and the old things will be passing away and all things will becoming new.  GOD’s original vision was to create us in HIS IMAGE & LIKENESS.  That has never changed.  So how are you doing?  Our Creator really wants to heal and restore your DNA to be able to perfectly live with HIM for eternity.  But is is up to you.

PERFECTION

PERFECTION,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”  1/2/20,   (Across my desk today.)

Today’s Scripture
“That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers…”
(Psalm 1:3, NIV)
An Extraordinary Life

The best decision of your life was to live your life with God at the center. That was the essential first step to living at your full potential. Now the key to experiencing an extraordinary life every day is to grow in your relationship with God. Scripture talks about how life with God is like a tree and its branches. When a branch is connected to the tree, it receives nourishment and life and produces fruit. We have to stay connected to God so we can receive His strength and be empowered to accomplish all that He has for us.

In any relationship, growth happens over time. God doesn’t expect you to be perfect. He just wants you to keep moving forward with Him one step at a time. No matter what is going on in your life, keep making time for Him so that your relationship can grow strong, and you can walk in the fullness of His blessings!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that every day I can live my life with You at the center and grow in my relationship with You. Thank You for planting me in the streams of Your living water. I look forward to the abundance You are producing in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”


My Thoughts
Actually, as I read the Holy Scriptures it seems to me that our LOVING CREATOR has made available every thing that we need if we would like to be perfected.  Perhaps our Adamic nature is very concerned about us getting that thought in our heart that in Christ Jesus we could become perfect or perfected.  Seems to me that when the Body/Church/Bride goes home she is a perfect match for Christ Jesus, the LORD.  So lets look at the word perfect (which is to be like Christ Jesus.)
Matt. 5:48:  “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
Luke 6:40:  “The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.”
John 17:23: “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”
2 Cor. 7:1:  “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
Eph. 4:12-13:  “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”
1 Thess.3:10:  “Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
2 Tim.3:16-17:  “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Heb. 6:1:  “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb.12:23:  “To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,”
James 1:4:  “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
1 Pet. 5:10:  “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”
1 John 4:17:  “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

So not much room left for the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life to find a dark corner to hide in.  We are born by faith into the Kingdom of God but are challenged to become sanctified and become like Jesus.   Making Jesus our savior is not a “Get out of Hell” free card.  And personally I don’t have any idea where GOD draws the line.  But most of what I see in the Holy Scriptures is that Jesus is LORD over an obedient KINGDOM of Righteousness.  And in Rev.22 there are many exclusions.  So where is your school of learning obedience and being sanctified to be made ready for the coming Kingdom of God?   Yours in HIS great love and mercy,  Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org   There is but one Church of Christ Jesus,  are you a member?

Today’s Scripture
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland…”   (Isaiah 43:18–19, NIV)
New Beginnings

We’ve all had negative things happen to us. People did us wrong, the company let us go, someone was rude to us. It’s easy to go through life carrying offenses, trapped in self-pity, blaming ourselves and others. Because we’re always looking back, reliving the negative, we end up carrying around emotional baggage that weighs us down. One of the best things you can learn to do is drop it. Whether it happened twenty years ago or twenty minutes ago, don’t carry negative baggage from yesterday into today. Now do your part and let it go.

Past hurts occurred once. Don’t let them continue to hurt you by always thinking about them. As long as you’re dwelling on the past, you’re going to miss “the new things” God wants to do. You need to be looking forward to new beginnings. But God will not release new opportunities as long as you’re reliving old hurts and old failures.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can be free from all the negative baggage that comes from carrying past offenses, guilt, and blame. Help me to treat the past as the past, that it’s over. I look forward to the new things You’re doing in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Immediately my mind went to the anointed words of Paul:   “Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on [a] so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own. 13 [b]Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.  Phil.3:12-14…     It is so very obvious that, if allowed, the things of the past can greatly impact and limit our future.  Every day, can be a new beginning if we have the faith to allow for it.  it is in the LORD’s Hands to bring judgment and to redeem us from destruction as in the Psalms 103:4-6:  “4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

So it would seem that we need to treat each and every soul….. with God’s Love as we are HIS ambassadors.  As  for many the only Jesus they will ever see is the one that they can clearly see in US.   We need to leave behind our old attitudes and hurts if we want GOD”S Favor and Blessings and to be used by HIM.  As He must treat us  in the very same way that we treat others.  Sowing and Reaping It is a supernatural spiritual law of this Universe that the Creator want’s us to learn about that law.  In Him, there is always  balance and reciprocity.  Like in Adam we all die so to in Christ Jesus we shall all be made alive.   In Adam we let lucifer in and in Christ Jesus we (HIS Church)  get to boot him out.  The wages of sin is death but the gift of GOD is eternal life through Christ Jesus our LORD.  Forgiveness is absolutely necessary for us to find the balance in GOD’s great love for us.  Otherwise we get plugged up and run in circles drounding in our own juice.  We get to thinking about past stuff that we can never fix,  And to the point that nothing else can get through. 2020 RESOLUTIONS,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   12/31/19  (Across my desk today.)

Today’s Scripture
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me…”   (Psalm 51:10, ESV)
Christ Makes Everything New

With this new year comes fresh starts, resolutions and new beginnings. It is a time for making plans, setting goals and writing visions. But the greatest “new start” of all comes through Jesus Christ. Second Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” If you need a new beginning this year in any area of your life, allow Christ to make you a new creation, and the old will pass away! He will put a new and right spirit within you when you call on His name!

This year, make your relationship with Him your number one priority. When you put God first place and make it your highest priority to please Him, you can expect to live a blessed, fulfilled life. Scripture states, “God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Notice who God rewards. Not people who half-heartedly seek Him, only seek Him when they have a problem, or come to church only on special occasions. God rewards people who diligently seek Him. Psalm 34:10 adds: “Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” When you seek God daily with your whole heart in this new year, you won’t be able to outrun the good things of God!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, as we enter into a new year, I choose to put You first. Wipe the slate clean as I develop a deeper personal relationship with You. Thank You for new beginnings as I walk every day with You in Jesus’ name! Amen.”

We all deeply know that in a friendship, business, school, marriage or ministry that being half-hearted (mediocracy) is a most certain step towards finding failure.  And then we play the blame game by giving God the credit for our failures.  And so many today are really upset at GOD for not giving them deliverance from their own Adamic choices.  That lust when it is conceived produces sin and the completion of sin is death or separation from our HOLY Creator God.  James 1:15…  I am finding that we have good days and bad days and usually the temptations come to sin on my bad days.  And also the longer that I have victory over an issue in the Grace and Power of the Holy Spirit the stronger I get.  But If I submit to the temptation then the weaker I get.  The nature that I inherited form Adam just does not want to die.  Really difficult at times to keep the coffin lid on tight on the flesh (Adamic Nature)  and through a few more rocks on the casket.  As when ever Adam does get loose he sure makes a mess of things.  And of course that is where 1 John 1:6-9 comes in. 

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.   Paul says it this way:   3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.  Romans 8:3-10….  So we need to encourage each other with HIS promises:  Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Cor.7:1,  2 Pet.1:4.  That the Rom. 8 victory is ours when we find and have heart faith for the promises of God. 
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM who loved us.

BLESSINGS OF JABEZ, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 12/30/19,  (Across my desk today.)

Today’s Scripture
“Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!” And God granted him what he requested…”   (1 Chronicles 4:10, NASB)
Enlarge Your Territory

In 1 Chronicles 4, Jabez was a man that people said was supposed to have trouble and heartache and lived depressed and defeated, but he shook off the negative mentality. Despite how people labeled him, he had the boldness to ask big, that God would bless him and enlarge his territories. He was saying, “God, let me see abundance. Let me see more of Your favor.” And God blessed him indeed.

Like Jabez, you may have plenty of reasons to settle where you are—what you didn’t get, what people said, how impossible it looks. The odds may be against you, but the good news is that God is for you. He wants your new year, your life and everything about you to be successful and wonderful. He knows how to make up for what you didn’t get. He can thrust you further than you ever imagined, but you have to pray bold prayers. Ask in spite of what the circumstances look like and what people are telling you. Ask in spite of what the enemy keeps whispering in your ears. If you’re going to beat the odds, stand out in the crowd and reach your best life, you have to learn this principle of asking big.

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, today I open my heart to You and ask You to bless me. I ask You to increase me in every area and teach me to be faithful to You always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Yes, and a bit of repentance and obedience could be very helpful for the success of the vision as well.  Obviously most of us do not deserve the blessings that we have.  I watch films on how the other half of the world lives.   And I grew up in the 1930’s on a Kentucky Hillbilly farm with no power, a bucket for water and a deep hole in the back yard for a cooler and an out house behind the chicken house.  But was loved and healthy.  So life does not revolve around the stuff we may have but around relationships and especially our relationship with our Creator.   God’s blessings come to us out of our obedience to HIM as with any good father.   With pride and rebellion, things dry up.
 Jesus said:
“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14:21)  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.(John 15:10)   “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Mark 7:7)   “And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (Matt. 19:17)  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (Matt.5:19.)

So if we, as the children of GOD, really want to be blessed, we need to search the New Testament thoroughly for the Commandments of Christ Jesus.  We must saturate our heart with them and learn to keep them.  There are literally hundreds of the LORD’S Commandments in the New Testament that we need to be learning to obey.  Our Heavenly Father is creating a Kingdom of Righteousness for us to live.   There we be total love, unity and obedience in that new Kingdom.   We are now in a process of learning how to be able to live there in Love, Peace and Joy.  So we might as well spend our very short time here learning what His Commandments are all about and in learning how to submit to authority.  Our Creator God is not going to allow the present rebellion to exist at all in HIS Coming Kingdom.  He is not going to allow the rest of the universe to experience the destruction that rebellion has caused on earth.  So just where are we learning how to be in humility and to learn obedience.  This school seems to have  very few in attendance.

Equality Act Bill:  S 788.   Every time a society replaces lifelong, monogamous marriage with sexual immorality, that society collapses to the lowest state of functioning within just three generations.  Written by a non-christian anthropologist who was born in 1865.  The so-called radically anti-family, anti-faith  “Equality Act” bill (S 788) would FORCE pastors to “wed” same-gender couples in their churches, house boys and girls together overnight on mission trips and other church functions, and allow drag queen Sunday School teachers. The alternative would be to face crippling lawsuits or even arrest.  This bill is now headed towards becoming a law by the Democratic House.

Today’s Scripture
“…his favor lasts a lifetime…”   (Psalm 30:5, NIV)
You’ve Got It

Success in this life isn’t necessarily about how popular, influential or educated someone is. Success is about living a life of excellence in obedience to God’s Word. When we step out to do what God has called us to do, Scripture says that His favor surrounds us like a shield. When we have His favor, we have everything. We have an advantage for success! God’s favor opens the right doors. His favor will bring good breaks. The favor of God will cause you to accomplish what you could not accomplish on your own. It gives you an edge.

Now, if you’re going to see the gracious hand of God at work in your life, you can’t go through the day feeling intimidated, thinking that you’re average, comparing yourself to everyone else. No, you have to live like you have His favor, think like you have favor, talk like you have favor, walk like you have favor, dress like you have favor! Not arrogantly. Not in a way that portrays that you’re better than somebody else, but with a quiet confidence knowing that you have the gracious hand of God on your life! Live like you’ve got it because you do!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your grace, favor and mercy upon my life. I praise You today because You are good. I receive Your truth by faith and rise up to walk in my calling. I know that You are going before me to prepare the way as I walk in Your favor all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”


My Thoughts:
Where humility and obedience go,  God’s grace flows.  But pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit prior to a great fall.  In about 1969 on new years eve,  Ken Kesey, being a good friend, I was invited and decided to visit his New Years eve gathering.  I love fireworks so I took a stick of rock dynamite and primer cord and made a big explosive device to blow up at midnight on Ken’s 67 acre farm.  Every New Years was a barn cleaning and a big celebration. So I took my bomb along and when Ken saw it, he had to have it.  I told him it had a 60 sec. fuse and sure, have fun.  He took it and quickly said, the fuse is too long… and cut it ot 30 sec.  A friend came over about that time and said it is still too long and cut it to 15 sec.  I am backing up away from these crazy guys about this time as there was no stopping them.   Ken then cut the fuse off to a nub,  perhaps 5 seconds now.  This has gone crazy… I am now moving way way back.  Midnight,  the 12 chimes,  friend lights fuse , Ken tossed as far as he could.  both Ken and friend dive over the big pile to be safe.  Big explosion,  dogs barking for miles around.  But they forgot it was that years manure from cleaning the barn of rabbit, chicken, chow and horse manure that they dove into…  It so illustrates the above verse,  “and a haughty spirit before a great fall.” 

With children, how do we train them?   Obedience = Blessing,  Disobedience = Rejection/spanking.   Big problem is that most who seek to find God’s place of blessing never fully understand what God wants them to do to be found in humility and obedience to be blessed,  they are just too busy blowing up stuff.  He wrote HIS desires down for us through HIS prophets for us to find.  But we don’t go to the source, we let some gifted speaker tell us what it means without checking.  And then we find, that it does not work so we throw the truth away with the fiction together.  We toss the baby out with the bathwater.  And we totally miss the Blessings of GOD in the process.  And many times we also find ourselves in a pile of manure.  Bad marriage, boring job,  discord in the family,  more bills than income,  health issues due to our poor maintenance.  Then, what do we do, we blame GOD and make HIM the cause of our problems.   It take humility and obedience to learn to repent, seek forgiveness and to be able to start over.  Isa. 53.

Today’s Scripture

Perfect Toward Him

This time of year, people often take time to reflect and set goals for the new year. But have you ever set “perfection” as a goal on your list? Now, that may seem a little strange or unobtainable to many, but really, in God’s eyes perfection isn’t about performance. In fact, it isn’t about behavior at all. What God is looking for is a heart that is perfect toward Him. Scripture says that man looks on the outside, but God looks at the heart. That means that He is more pleased with someone who has a heart toward Him who may mess up than He is with someone doing all the right things for all the wrong reasons. The condition of your heart is extremely important to God. When you have a right heart, you are humble before Him. You seek His ways. You get up each day with a desire to please Him. You submit every area of your life to Him, and you are willing to make adjustments and receive correction so you can grow and come up higher. As you prepare for the coming year, make knowing Him your number one priority. Yield yourself to Him and let Him shape your character. Serve Him with all your might and let your heart be perfect toward Him!

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, thank You for all of Your blessings in my life. I declare today that You are good and thank You for Your mercy. I set my heart and mind on You and ask that You have Your way in me. Help me to love You perfectly and keep me close to You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts,
Could not have said it better.  Christ Jesus spent a lot of time teaching about our “heart” our subconscious,  the place where we are really real,  the place of our soul.  There are 160 verses in the New Testament and 724 verses in the Old Testament concerning our heart.  The heart is somewhat like an ice berg.  Our conscious mind is the 1/7 above the water and the heart is the 6/7 below the water.  Much of what we say comes out of our mind and we can be talking just to see what it sounds like with no commitment as to the truth at all.  For many even being a Christian is really somewhat like belonging to a bridge club, nationality or of  environmental conditioning. 

Jesus taught us: “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matt.6:21,  “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matt.5:8, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” Matt.22:37,  “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” Luke 6:45,  “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.” Luke 21:34,  “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.“John 14:27,  “8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.“  Rom.10: 9-10. 

The little books of James and Jude are great also in training the heart as to what is GOD’S TRUTH.  I like listening to the New Testament in my truck while driving.   Usually our hearts are initially filled with the junk of this world from Adam and seriously needs to be replaced with the TRUTH of the Word of God.  This means that we need to saturate our mind many many times (what ever it takes) to change our heart into believing what we know to be God’s truth.   The mind is the gateway to the heart.  The conscious mind is very flexible but the heart can be like stone and difficult to change.  And especially to agree with God’s Truth in humility.  One time I remember going though the process and it was like a very serious hard drive crash.  The erroneous issue that needed God’s Truth were so woven into so many facets of my thinking that it trashed all kinds of stone work in my mind.  Knocked some big holy holes into my heart library and I gained a great deal of freedom,  That was back in 1967.  Sure benefited from GOD’S Truth that finally got through to my heart.   God’s Truth sets us FREE!!!!!

Let God’s Light Shine:
D. L. Moody told the story of a man who was crossing the Atlantic by ship. He was terribly sick and confined to his cabin. One night he heard the cry “Man overboard!” He felt that there was nothing he could do to help, but at second thought, he said to himself, “I guess I can at least put my lantern in the porthole.” He struggled to his feet and hung the light so it shined out into the darkness.  The next day he learned that the person who was rescued said, “I was going down in the dark night for the last time, when someone put a light in a porthole. As it shone on my hand, a sailor in a lifeboat grabbed it and pulled me in.”  All of us have weaknesses — and times of weakness. The fact of the matter is, though, that weak or not, we need to muster up the strength to put our lights in our portholes for the sake of the dying and the lost among us. It’s so tempting to sulk in our weaknesses, and stay in our beds — but God expects more of us. He has given us the strength to do all things — even move mountains! There are so many people around us sinking in despair. But God has chosen us to reach out and light up their lives!

Today’s Scripture
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder…”  ( Isa. 9:6 )
Unto Us

When Jesus came to the earth in human form, He brought with Him everything you need to be empowered to live a life of victory. He came as a little baby, but as the Son of God, He represented all authority in heaven and earth. When you choose to serve Him, you are no longer a part of the kingdom of the world. You become a part of His kingdom, and you have access to all His resources. You have access to His peace, power, authority, provision, joy and strength. He brought all this to us. Unto us victory is given. Unto us peace is given. Unto us provision is given. Unto us hope and healing are given. Unto us eternal life is given! Whatever you need today, remember, when Jesus came into the world, He made a way for every one of your needs to met spiritually, emotionally and physically. Take hold of His promises by faith, knowing that He has good plans for you today.

A Prayer for Today
“Father in heaven, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, so that I could be free to live an abundant life in You. Fill me with the revelation of Your love and all that You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
Jesus came for a purpose,  we are celebrating HIS day,  but are we in tune with HIS purpose?
Perhaps it would be best to consider the whole prophesy  ” For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given;   And the government shall be upon His shoulder,And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace,[He shall rule] on the throne of David and over his kingdom,To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.  Isa. 9:6-7

So we have been invited to not only join but to assist in the creation of this Kingdom of righteousness.  So what kind of souls will God give HIS grace to in order to participate in that HOLY GOVERNMENTAL Kingdom?.  Pretty much the church is teaching a greasy grease and sloppy agape in somewhat of a co-dependency of where sin is not really black.  Actually sin has become shades of gray and even gets into the pastels.  So we have been basically taught to live a somewhat submissive life style but not to go overboard about it.  That no one can be like Jesus and what ever needs to be changed in us that GOD will surely take care of it later because Jesus died to save us.  So we don’t like the intrusion of government from family, church, govt. or any where else.  In fact we have elected a party into office now that wants open borders, free health care, free food support, free education and with little or no moral, ethical, spiritual laws or guidelines.  Obviously this could be very painful for all especially the poor, weak and old.  In fact in that lawless system life would become very short for those folk as they easily would become expendable.  Of course that kind of a  system is impossible and is destructive of any govt. that tries it.

Our Loving Creator has given us all of the tools on earth that we could possible need to explore how to get ready for HIS Righteous Kingdom to come.  That is if we really believe in HIS coming Kingdom and we really want to ultimately live there?  We can easily see what we believe in as it is where we spend our time in getting ready.  So check out your time.  How many hours last week did you seek God and the things of HIS Kingdom and doing what HE wanted.  And how many hours in seeking the things of the Kingdom of this world ?  Jesus taught much about this.  To learn to function in a government takes time with vision, humility and Loving obedience.  Christ Jesus is in the process of creating a Righteous Kingdom.  He spent 3 years in telling us about it and encouraging us to get ready for moving there.  When He left He told us to share HIS Gospel of Good News and HIS teachings.  Most so called christians that I know have no idea of what HIS teaching are from the New Testament nor have they ever helped any lost sinner find life, peace and righteousness by sharing the Gospel with them.  Don’t know how,  you should be learning how because your life will be an open book before the LORD at the judgment.  Christ Jesus is building a government of souls who are loving, humble, obedient and want very much to be there with HIM as their KING. 

Have a wonderful CHRISTMAS DAY, but also give this note some time consider.  “Obedience is better than sacrifice.”  1 Samuel 15:22
