FREEWILL & PREDESTINATION

ALOHA SAINTS, FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John 3:16

FREEWILL OR PREDESTINATION “WORTH CONSIDERING” 12/8/20

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a Church in Texas.)
For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back? (Isaiah 14:27, NKJV)

Life Purpose
God has a purpose for your life. He’s already planned out your days, lined up the different scenes, and established your ending. Today’s Scripture asks, “Who can stop it? Who will turn it back?” God is saying, “I’m the all-powerful Creator of the universe. Now, who can stop My plan for your life? Who can change your ending? People can’t, unfair situations can’t, tragedy can’t. I have the final say.” When you feel like you’re on a life detour, when you come to a dead-end with something you don’t understand, don’t get upset or live frustrated. It’s just one scene. When all the scenes of your life come together, it’s going to work out for your good. What looks like a setback is really God setting you up to get you to the fullness of your destiny. Stay in peace, knowing that God is directing your steps. Even the detours, the dead ends, and the U-turns will work to your advantage.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the promise that You always cause me to triumph in the end. Thank You that You are directing my steps and working out Your purpose for my life. I’m going to stay in peace knowing that no one and nothing can stop Your plan. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Interesting concept, karma (in Hinduism and Buddhism) the sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existence.) The message above seems to intimate to me that we are simple robots. That our life has already been decided. That even heaven or hell is a forgone conclusion. The elect are saved and the lost are not. And that GOD decided all of that before we were born. So I am just a robot. And regardless of my freewill I must write this to you today?

But God lives in a different dimension than we do, 1 Cor 13. We live in a time dimension but HE does not. So the scriptures concerning election are from God’s foreknowledge eternal dimension. But we are locked into a temporary time dimension and only see yesterday and today. We are working out our salvation in faith and expectancy. But our Creator already knows how the story ends through HIS absolute foreknowledge. so in creating freewill HE allowed for evil. Pride and Rebellion to exist and it was not his choice but HE takes responsibility as the Creator of all things. For freewill to be valid there must be choice. Thus the tree in the garden of good and evil. And Adam taking the world into the darkness and Jesus coming to help us find the light. And when all is said and done the final outcome will be the creation of HIS FAMILY. An honest family of eternal souls who will be loving, humble and obedient by choice but not a bunch of programmed robots. Then a new heaven and a new earth of righteousness.

Foreknowledge is the Key, found in Acts 2:23, 2:31, 1 Peter 1:2 and Rom.8:29-30

“For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was [k] aware and [l] loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren. 30 And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].

So in our Creator’s eternal dimension of absolute foreknowledge HE knew already, before he created the first atom out of HIS energy what would happen with us in our limited dimension capsule of time. He knew what lucifer would do like any good architect. He knew what Adam would do. and HE knew what Jesus would do. He knew what I would do in writing to you. HE had the blueprints down pat before HE started Creation. But does that make it any less me in doing what I do if I have freewill and do in time what HE already knew what I would do with my freewill in time? Am I not still responsible for doing what I do, good or bad. Did I not sit down and write because I wanted to? At least God thinks so. So we see that the blueprints of the building are not the building. Not that we did not know that. But around 14 billion light years ago our Creator started on a project to make HIMSELF a family. A family of righteousness in humility and obedience. And today in time we have an open door to become a part of HIS family if we exercise our freewill to do so. And today in time I am writing to you because HE ask me to but out of my own freewill. No manipulation, no threats, no bribes and no controls, not like in a robot. I am doing what I want to do. And you are doing what you want to do in reading or deleting this e-mail. But you will be asked in the resurrection to account for your actions on earth as also will everyone including me. And I do hope you make it into HIS FAMILY…. The alternative is not that great. A soul without body, light or God, in a void…

Yours in HIS great Love and wonderful Grace and Mercy, Ken<>< www.trinity-aloha.org

SOWING & REAPING “WORTH CONSIDERING 12/7/120 By Ken Smith<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
For we know him who said, “Justice belongs to me; I will repay them.” (Hebrews 10:30, T.B.)

Pre qualified for Double
God has seen every unfair thing you’ve gone through, every person who did you wrong, every tear, every lonely night. He’s your heavenly Father, and He knows how to pay you back for what’s unfair. You don’t have to live worried because God is going to make up for the wrongs that were done. The prophet Isaiah says that when God pays you back, “He will give you a two fold recompense.” That means God will pay you back double. In the Scripture, it wasn’t a coincidence that after all the heartache and pain that Job went through, he came out with double what he had before the testing of his faith. When you’re in an unfair situation, instead of getting sour, have a new perspective—that just qualified you for double. They meant it to harm you, but God is going to use it to promote you. When He pays you back, you’re going to come out loaded down with blessings.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are still on the throne, and You are my vindicator. Thank You that You can bring me out of difficulties better off that I was before they showed up. I believe that You are going to exceed my expectations and amaze me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Hmmmm!! Just be sure you don’t deserve what you are going through. Most of the time, if we are in the Spirit. I mean really walking with the LORD in righteousness, we are walking on air and in the peace, joy and protection of our LORD. But often I know of Christians who are going through what they are going through because they just can not stop talking “stink” and Judgment.

Life and Death are in the power of the Tongue. “From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. 21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. 22 He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 18:20-22. That is a very interesting proverb for me as the author (Solomon?) had many wives and they got him into serious trouble. So he must have still been looking for the wise and quiet one who was not always complaining about something? James also shares about the tongue 25 “But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. 26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. “ James 1:25-27

Because what our head speaks with our mouth will ultimately be believed by our heart and that will start the process of making it become a fact. And that works for good or bad and if there is unity then whether good or bad it happens more quickly. Look at what Moses wrote that God said concerning the Tower of Babel: “ But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Gen.11:5-6..

So if we could learn to be of one mind in John 17 we could enjoy seeing Jesus in Eph. 4:11-16. As that is the whole purpose of God for us in being joined unto HIM. That we should learn to be living stones fitly joined together into being a gathering of Christians who look, smell and taste like Jesus. When I saw this in a young man by the name of Floyd in 1955, it brought me to Jesus as my LORD. We are born to suck up the water of the Holy Spirit of life, let HIM help us pull the weeds and grow to produce fruit that is like Jesus. Our creator loves and honors that and our words should be expressed in faith to that end. What we are impressed with and dwell on will be what we become. What we continue to say and to believe about people will either release them in Christ Jesus or put them in further bondage. And the same about ourselves. What ever we train our heart to believe about us will eventually come to pass. So the enemy delights to get us into talking down and talking stink about others and even about ourselves. We are taught to take our cares and our sins to Jesus and to leave them with HIM. That we are to find HIS truth and to walk it out and to be free. God our Creator has made it possible for us the be healthy and free in HIM.

BLESSINGS OF GOD

BLESSINGS OF GOD, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 12/4/20 From Ken Smith<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a Church in Texas.)
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:19, ESV)

Every Need Supplied Abundantly
Sometimes religion can make you feel like it’s wrong to be blessed and have resources, but David says, “God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” It brings a smile to God’s face to make things happen that amaze you, to increase you in ways that you’ve never imagined. It gives our heavenly Father pleasure to see you blessed. You may not see how it can happen, but that’s not your job. Your job is to believe. You were created to live an abundant life. Today’s Scripture says that God will supply all our needs according to His riches. It doesn’t say according to your talent or your education, or if your boss likes you, or if the economy is good, or if you have the right friends. It’s not according to what you have; it’s according to what He has. The good news is, God owns it all. If He doesn’t have what you need, He can create it.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You’re a more-than-enough God. Thank You that You take pleasure in prospering me and supply all my needs according to Your riches. I believe that You are opening doors that I can’t open and showing me favor that I didn’t deserve. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments: (ken@trinity-aloha.org) www.trinity-aloha.org
In John 8, Jesus told the religious leaders of HIS day that their father was lucifer and that HIS father was GOD. We know this to be true as they murdered an innocent man to put out his light. So today Jesus would say to us, that by their fruits ye shall know them. Gal 5:18-23, “But if you are guided and led by the Spirit, you are not subject to the Law. 19 Now the practices of the [a] sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of self-control), 20 [b] idolatry, [c] sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies], 21 envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

So TO BE bless able then the fruit on our tree will be as above. But if under judgment do not expect God’s blessings as the LAW of Sowing & Reaping is universal and even can continue in a family for 4 generations or even more. I was watching a film last night concerning the worlds religions and going from country to country. And it was VERY obvious that where the Gospel has gone there had been a national blessing. And were it had not the countries were mostly in 3rd world poverty.. Even when they had great and abundant resources available to them.

So simply, do a good study of Eph. 4:11-16 it has a wealth of information on how to receive God’s blessings and approval: “And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], 12 [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; 13 until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. 14 So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit ]. 15 But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ. 16 From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up [a] in [unselfish] love.” Love in Jesus, Ken<><

Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> A new survey conducted after the 2020 presidential election has shown that 97% of politically active conservative Christians voted for Donald Trump, the Christian Post reports. The survey was launched by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University and was conducted from November 3 through November 16, 2020. After this column first disclosed the large number of pro-China officials and holdovers from the Obama administration sitting on the Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board, the board has been belatedly purged and new advisers will be named in the coming days. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell spoke Thursday for the first time since at least the 2020 election as Congress scrambles to strike a coronavirus stimulus deal and prevent a government shutdown. Joe Biden said Thursday that he will ask Americans to commit to 100 days of wearing masks as one of his first acts as US president, stopping just short of the nationwide mandate he’s pushed before to stop the spread of the coronavirus. The Supreme Court on Thursday sided with churches against California’s coronavirus gathering restrictions. A Democratic group advising self-declared U.S. President-elect Joe Biden suggests that the new administration will curtail religious freedom. It proposes banning limiting Christian worship and outlawing creationism in education or work, among other measures. In June, elites at important international institutions such as the World Economic Forum and the United Nations launched a far-reaching campaign to “reset” the global economy.

Masks?
The first randomized controlled trial of more than 6,000 individuals to assess the effectiveness of surgical face masks against SARS-CoV-2 infection found masks did not statistically significantly reduce the incidence of infection Among mask wearers, 1.8% ended up testing positive for SARS-CoV-2, compared to 2.1% among controls. When they removed the people who did not adhere to proper mask use, the results remained the same — 1.8%, which suggests adherence makes no significant difference Among those who reported wearing their face mask “exactly as instructed,” 2% tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 compared to 2.1% of the controls 1.4% tested positive for antibodies at the end of the month-long study compared to 1.8% of controls 0.5% in the mask group and 0.6% tested positive for one or more respiratory viruses other than SARS-CoV-2

FOCUS & COMMITMENT

FOCUS & COMMITMENT “WORTH CONSIDERING” 12/3/20 From Ken <><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. (Hebrews 12:1, NIV)

Look Up and Listen
Hebrews 11 talks about the heroes of faith and all the amazing things they accomplished. They didn’t have a Bible like we do today. They didn’t have the written promises to stand on like we do. They didn’t know how it was going turn out, yet they chose to believe. Think of David, think of Moses, think of Abraham and Sarah. They withstood hardships, endured ridicule, fought giants, overcame enemies. Today’s Scripture paints the picture of a huge heavenly stadium filled with the saints of old, including loved ones that have gone before us, cheering us on in our race.
When you’re tempted do get discouraged in your daily race and losing heart, just look up and listen up. Do you hear it? All of heaven is cheering for you. Just imagine in that heavenly stadium that people are calling out your name, saying, “Run, baby, run! Stay strong. This is your time. You are well able. Leave your mark!”

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the heroes of faith whose lives help show me how to live for You and who are cheering me on from heaven today. Thank You for their messages of perseverance and overcoming hardships. Help me to run my race with purpose and strength. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Our focus and commitment is very essential in these days of where the Lust of the eyes, Lust of the flesh and Pride of Life is seen on most publicity and in about ever film or form of entertainment. We are engulfed in a see of self pleasure and what is in it for ME!!! Problem is that there is no end of the publicity that can be set in front of us to go for if you think that you can make your self happy that way. Long time ago I was watching a T.V. interview of J.P. Getty the richest man on earth at the time. The interviewer was completing a personal walk through of one of the many warehouses full of antiques that Mr. Getty had purchased from around the world. And as she was leaving, she asked, Mr. Getty a parting question, “Mr. Getty, How much of this will it take to make you happy?” And Mr. Getty replied, “Just a little bit more.”

I passed the biggest billboard sign I had ever seen going to San Diego one day, long ago. And it was a beautiful fireplace scene with an easy chair and table next to the chair. On the table was a 3′ bottle of Black Velvet and nest to the Black Velvet was a beautiful women dressed in black velvet. No caption at all. But also clear to all. Want the girl, get the booze and a total lie. Our whole world is filled with this kind of stuff now. That is why Jesus taught us that the road to haven was straight and narrow and few would find it. So first we need to know it is the right road and then we need the focus and commitment to stay on it for our life time. Even at my age of now pushing 90 the girl in the black velvet still looks good but I have learned to stay focused and committed. Some feel I should be committed but that is a story of another time. On of the things that helps me stay focused and committed is in realizing that Jesus on earth was also the Son of Man. That as the 2nd Adam he was totally limited to what I have available to me. That if I would follow his level of focus and commitment I could enjoy the victories that he enjoyed. That the anointing that he received from the Holy Spirit at John’s baptism is the same for me if I will grow into that level of faith in HIM. Most every thing that Jesus taught can be found also taught by the prophets and teachers of the Old Testament. He knew who he was as he had also learned the messianic scriptures concerning the coming of the Christ. And there will only be one Christ Jesus. And there will only ever be one of you or me, we are all unique. Jesus taught us that the things that HE did we could do and even greater things than these could we do. That by Kingdom Faith we could heal, deliver and move mountains and He encouraged us to learn how to do that. In Hebrews 11 the writer (Paul, I think) tells us that real faith is substance and evidence. In other words, look at what all these folks were able to do in faith. We need to learn to walk in Real Faith and have some fun doing some good stuff with it. Don’t listen to the self justifying folks who tell you what you can not do. With GOD, all things are possible. So sit down and write out what you feel God has designed you to accomplish in your life and that HE would like you to do. After all you were created for a very important purpose in your life time. Notice that even Samson was included in that list of faith. If there was ever a mixed up guy concerning women, Samson is the head of the class. And yet through all of the sowing and reaping in the end he through faith was victorious. But in each case of victory there was faith, love, humility and obedience. Even Jesus learned obedience through what he suffered. Heb.5:8-9 and was made perfect. So we being in the same school are in the process of being made perfect if we will allow it and have faith for it. 1 John 4:17 (go look it up.)

GIFT OF LIFE & PEACE

ALOHA SAINTS, FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John 12:24-26

GIFT OF LIFE & PEACE “WORTH CONSIDERING” 12/2/20

Today’s Scripture ( Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
I called to the LORD in distress; the LORD answered me and set me in a broad place. Ps.118.5

Enlarged
King David didn’t get enlarged in the good times; he was enlarged when things weren’t going his way. While he was alone out in the shepherds’ fields, it looked as though he would never accomplish his dreams. But those years helped prepare him to become a champion. When he killed Goliath, it happened because he went through the dark places with a good attitude. When he was distressed and felt as though God had forgotten about him, his attitude was, “God, this is a dark place, but I’m developing patience and perseverance and learning to trust You.” At the right time, he came out of that dark place increased, promoted, and better off than he had been before. You may feel alone, abandoned, and mistreated, but dare to believe that He is blessing you even in the dark places. Be faithful in the shepherds’ field. It may not be easy, but faith is trusting in God when life doesn’t make sense.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You bless me even in the dark places, and what’s meant for my harm is going to bring me into a broad place. Thank You that You are preparing me to become a champion. I declare that I am trusting in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
When we read the Psalms, we assume it was written by David and probably in most places it was. But what we get here is God is no respecter of persons. He loves each soul (Me) as HE also loves Jesus. And HE is for me all the time that I come to HIM in humility and obedience with faith. That all we see created is held together by the faith of GOD and HE would like to teach us to learn how to be creative as well. So I find myself with a freewill in a school designed to help me grow in faith. A school that not only encourages growth but also administers some heavy pruning of branches that produce no fruit. We are born to not only grow in faith but also in maturity, learn to reproduce.

So let’s take a little inventory, have you ever helped anyone be born from above by the Spirit of God. You see, those who have been born from above spiritually also have been given the responsibility of spiritual reproduction. But before that take place we must grow in faith. And the Word of God tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So my best efforts in that direction of growing in faith is in listening to the New Testament on CD in my truck when driving. I may not remember the chapter and verse but I remember the thought. “Bible Gateway” make that easy to find if needed later.

On my computer as I write to you I can have Bible Gateway on one side of my screen and my blog on the other so it is easy to go back and forth. The key thought for today seems to me to be the encouragement to stay in faith during the times of pruning as in the times of blessing. That even in the dark of the night, God is with us. That prayer is simple taking time to talk to our maker and to, in faith, ask for the pruning. For the ability to produce more fruit for HIS Kingdom. And in doing so grow in faith into what HE had originally designed us to be in Christ Jesus before the first atom was created of HIS power and energy. And for us to realize that actually we are potentially the best of all of HIS creation. That Jesus was the best ever of all of HIS works and that we have been invited to become like Jesus through God’s Grace and HIS Mercy in Jesus. That Jesus is the first born of many brethren. That the eternal family of God is unlimited. That who-so-ever will may come and drink of the waters of life freely. Rev. 22:16-18

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you and to give you assurance of these things for the churches. I am the Root (the Source, the Life) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and bright Morning Star.” 17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, believers) say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost.

So note that the one who hears also is responsible for sharing the Good News. Are you doing that? Are you sharing the Good News to friends and family around you? Have you ever led a soul to Jesus? As there is always room in the Kingdom of God for another soul to find Jesus as Lord. And this wonderful gift of life is given freely to all who thirst for righteousness.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<>< www.trinity-aloha.org

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.
(Psalm 8:5, NIV)

Hold on to Your Crown
When God breathed His life into you, He put a crown of glory and honor on your head. This crown represents your authority. It represents God’s blessing and favor on your life. It’s a reminder that you are royalty. When you’re wearing your crown, you’ll have a sense of entitlement, thinking, I have a right to be blessed and live in victory because I’m wearing a crown of honor put there by my Creator.

Jesus said, “Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” Throughout life, there will always be someone or something trying to take your crown. People will talk about you, trying to make you look bad, to push you down. What they’re really doing is trying to take your crown. Don’t let them have it. Nobody can take your crown. You have to let go of what was said or done to you rather than let go of your crown.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You have put a crown of glory and honor on my head by Your grace. Thank You that I am not less than others or just average, but You have made me royalty. I declare I will not allow anyone or anything to take my crown. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
This is an interesting scripture, Elohim here is translated in the NIV as angels which is rather unique. That is one of the reasons I go back to the King James as the translators had no doctrine to protect. King James wanted to read the Bible in accurate English and that is what they aimed for and did a rather good work in that translation. Elohim can mean Gods is in plural like as in Trinity of Father, Word & Holy Spirit. Like a family in working in very close unity together. And the scripture could be referring to Jesus as made a little lower than the angles as the Lamb of God to take away our sins. We find this in Hebrews.2:9-18 Very important so take time to consider. Of course the Bible weaves it’s message through both dimensions of God’s Eternity and Man’s temporary Time of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Through God’s absolute foreknowledge HE is the I AM and sees all things as now. That means both dimensions are at work in all that we do. His Foreknowledge answers our prayers before we pray because HE has known from eternity what we were going to pray for. He already knows who HIS Eternal Elect will be but we do not. With us in our dimension of time it is, “He that endureth to the end, shall be saved.” Matt.24:13. It is not enough for God to already know what our life is going to be like and produce. His foreknowledge is based upon us also doing it for our own experience. We need to see for ourselves to learn and want to grow up into HIS image and likeness because we want to. We have to walk it out. It is not enough to have the plans for the building. The building has to be built and become physical to be enjoyed. We are living stones being placed into the building of God if we will go for it. Eph.4:11-16. So we have been invited to allow our lives and energy to be added to the Grace of God so that our Creator will eventually enjoy the fellowship of a very large family of children that have learned through faith and love to allow HIM to be the LORD or MASTER of HIS creation which includes us and our freewill. Our Creator has invited us to join HIM and want to teach us how to be kings, ambassadors and priests for HIM. Jesus mentioned one time that in the Father’s House there were many places to live and that Jesus was going home to create a place for us. That mean we may not be the only house on the block. Perhaps we have the only lucifer to mess things up so we grow spiritually at a much greater pace. I know that the mess that has been made by lucifer on planet earth will not be allowed to contaminate the rest of God’s universe and creation. That the family that HE has been creating over the past 6,000 years has but another 1,000 years to go for completion and then the time capsule is destroyed and time as we know it ceases. The Revelation of Christ Jesus shares about this in Chapter 19-22.

So our Creator’s vision and destiny for you is for greatness for eternity but HE has given you a freewill and you can say no. You can decide for yourself to be the master of your own destiny or you can join up with the Creator to enjoy HIS vision and purpose for your creation. The death tree of the knowledge of good and evil was allowed to be in the Garden exactly for that purpose. The purpose of giving Adam & Eve the opportunity to bail out and to do their own thing. What good is freewill if no test. And eventually they disobeyed, rebelled in pride and look at the world today, what a mess. Our Creator gave the world to Adam, Adam gave it to lucifer and Jesus had the love and vision to come to buy it back and give us a way to escape death or eternal separation from GOD. The only reason our soul has light is because God has given us a temporary body to live in. If he does not create for us another body when this one is burned out then there is nothing but darkness. Is God going to give those who have rejected HIS salvation another body? Why should HE? Our choice in this life time for light or darkness is eternal.

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
(Ephesians 6:11, NIV)

Power Up
When you get out of bed in the morning, the first thing you should do is power up. Get your mind going in the right direction. Remind yourself: “I’m ready for this day. I am equipped. I am empowered. I have my armor on. I have my shoes of peace. I’m not going to get upset. I’m not going to let people steal my joy. I’m not going to fight battles that aren’t between me and my destiny. I have my helmet of salvation. I know I am forgiven. I am redeemed. I am approved by Almighty God. I’ve been handpicked by the Creator of the universe. I have my shield of faith. I’m expecting great things. I have my sword of the Spirit; I’m speaking God’s Word. I know every enemy is under my feet. I’ve been armed with strength for this battle.” What are you doing? Powering up, getting prepared for a blessed, victorious, faith-filled day.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your promise that no weapon formed against me will prosper. Thank You that I can put on Your armor today that is like a hedge of protection, mercy, and favor around me. I declare that I am armed and ready for the battle. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
Iit is easy to forget to put on the armor of God each day. We get so full of what we need to do that we loose sight of what we must do in order to win our daily SPIRITUAL battles. And long ago some one mentioned to me something very important about the armor in Eph. 6:11. He mentioned that there was nothing on the back for protection. So to retreat is certain death. So let’s take a few minutes and consider what Paul is sharing with us today. Eph.6;11-24 “ In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. 11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. 13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. 14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having [b] tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), 15 and having [c]strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [ to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. 16 Above all, lift up the [protective] [d] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. 18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all [e] God’s people. 19 And pray for me, that words may be given to me when I open my mouth, to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news [of salvation], 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. And pray that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly and courageously, as I should. 21 Now, so that you may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will tell you everything. 22 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know how we are, and that he may comfort and encourage and strengthen your hearts. 23 Peace be to the [f] brothers and sisters, and love joined with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with undying and incorruptible love.” AMP 6:11-24…. Take some real time and consider these thought and NOT Good to leave home without the LORD’S ARMOR ON… And sometimes most needed at home? And like the present election it is not over till it is over. As long as we are alive we can change. Jesus taught that only a very few would find their way. Will you be one of the few? Hope to see you at the Great Thanksgiving Wedding Feast of the King of Kings when the Church is forever joined to HER King. If this idea jars you a bit, then you need to take some serious time in checking it out.

THANKSGIVING

ALOHA SAINTS, FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God & me, John 3:16

THANKSGIVING “WORTH CONSIDERING” 11/26/20 From Ken<><

Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a Church in Texas.)
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. (Psalm 100:4, NIV)

Enter with Thanksgiving
What an amazing privilege we have to serve a personal God who desires a relationship with us. But notice that today’s Scripture tells us that we shouldn’t come empty-handed to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. What do we have to give that’s worthy of Almighty God? Our praise. Our thanksgiving. Our worship. We should always enter His gates with an offering of thanksgiving from our hearts. Praise isn’t just about singing songs in church. Praise is the expression of gratefulness to God for Who He is and all that He has done. Praise gets God’s attention. Praise is a powerful tool in our life because God inhabits the praises of His people! When we enter His presence the right way, He enters our circumstances; and when God shows up, the enemy must flee! Today, enter into His gates with thanksgiving and open the door for Him to move on your behalf!

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can come to You with a heart full of thanksgiving. I have so much to be grateful for because of Your goodness. You are good, and Your mercy endures forever! Thank You for doing exceedingly abundantly above all I could ever ask or imagine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments,
Thankfulness is rather a deep and intense subject. Seems it should be simple concerning the good things that come our way, especially in this country. We have had it so good for so long that we have no idea, really of how the other half of the world lives. And Apostle Paul give us a prophesy in 2 Tim.3 about it as follows: But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, 3 [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them. And also in Romans 1: For [God does not overlook sin and] the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them [in their inner consciousness], for God made it evident to them. 20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. 21 For even though [d] they knew God [as the Creator], they did not [e] honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation]. On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God for [f] an image [worthless idols] in the shape of mortal man and birds and four-footed animals and reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their own hearts to [sexual] impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them [abandoning them to the degrading power of sin], 25 because [by choice] they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen…” and much more on the subject in that chapter of introduction to the Church in Rome.

But the real difficulty comes in having the attitude of being blessed and to be thankful for any and all persecution that comes our way as HIS light shines through us in this world of the darkness of the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life. It is to have faith at that time and to be thankful to be called to suffer that others might see HIM in us. We often tend to hide and to adjust our life style so that the world can not see Jesus in us and we can stay out of trouble. The Word of God tells us that any one that lives Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. So if there is no persecution, you may want to evaluate the LIGHT factor in your life. The darkness of this world hated the LIGHT that Jesus brought to earth. It will be the same for us if we are for real a True Christian.

I personally believe that Trump actually won the election but if not returned to power that we can expect some very difficult times. With the Biden administration headed into socialism we can expect any savings to be raided. And the value of the dollar to collapse very quickly.

Thanksgiving History

THANKSGIVING: (Have a wonderful time of thanksgiving.) Ken<><

Thanksgiving is the oldest national holiday in the United States. However, its observation is not a continuous presence in American history. While the celebration of Thanksgiving predates even the founding of the nation, it was proclaimed by George Washington, then ignored by Thomas Jefferson. From then on, it was sporadically observed until Abraham Lincoln, who once again introduced a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving to the United States.

Indeed, it was Lincoln who set the day as the last Thursday in November. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt changed the day between 1939 and 1941, which was highly controversial. The days were called “Franksgiving.” Roosevelt changed the date because retailers communicated to him through the Retail Dry Goods Association and the Secretary of Commerce, that the late date of Thanksgiving that year (the last day of November) might negatively impact retail sales. It was considered bad form to put up Christmas decorations or put on Christmas sales before Thanksgiving.

If only we still lived in such times.

In 1942, Congress set Thanksgiving as the fourth Thursday of the month, and here it has stood since then.
The Early Days of Thanksgiving

Harvest feasts date back centuries, with the earliest “thanksgiving” celebrations in the New World dating to the 16th Century with the French and the Spanish. The Commonwealth of Virginia had regular celebrations of this type dating back to 1607. The first permanent settlement, Jamestown, Virginia, had a thanksgiving celebration in the year of its founding, 1610.

Of course, anytime someone says “Thanksgiving,” one immediately thinks of the Pilgrims. “Thanksgiving” as we know it is generally dated back to when the Pilgrims first celebrated it in 1621. This was in response to a successful harvest, however, it was not the first of a consistent celebration. The Pilgrims celebrated this only sporadically.

No one is entirely sure when the Thanksgiving celebration took place. There was a three-day celebration following their harvest, sometime between September 21 and November 11, with the Feast of Michaelmas (September 29) being the most likely date. We do, however, know that all 50 surviving Mayflower passengers were there, as well as 90 Native Americans. The feast was cooked primarily by four women, all of whom were on the Mayflower. Two years later, in 1623, following another boat of colonists arriving, the first civil (not religious) Thanksgiving took place in July.
The Revolution to the Civil War

The day of national Thanksgiving jumped around until the founding of the nation. During the late Colonial period, the Continental Congress merely recommended the day be celebrated by the various colonies. Samuel Adams drafted the first national proclamation, issued in 1777 – something to remember when you tip back one of his beers while watching the game. Revolutionary Commander General George Washington set the date in December of that year to celebrate early revolutionary victories.

In 1789, President George Washington would proclaim November 26, 1789, to be a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving. This day also provides the roots for America’s National Day of Prayer. In 1795, Thanksgiving was celebrated, again by presidential proclamation, on February 19. President John Adams continued the tradition in 1798 and 1799. The tradition was undone by deist and skeptic President Thomas Jefferson. President James Madison revived the tradition in 1814, but it remained sporadic until the Civil War. Many governors proclaimed celebrations statewide.

In November 1863, however, President Lincoln made the celebration national again. He was inspired by an editorial series written by “Mary Had a Little Lamb” author Sarah Josepha Hale. Secretary of State William H. Seward wrote the proclamation. During this period, traditions were regional and some of the food is decidedly not what we would consider to be traditional Thanksgiving fare today (pigeon pie, for example).
Franksgiving

Franksgiving is one of those things like the court-packing plan that made FDR’s opponents squeal with laughter. FDR’s moving of the date of Thanksgiving caused his opponent in the previous election, Alf Landon, to compare him to Hitler. James Frasier, chairman of the Plymouth, Massachusetts board of selectmen heartily disapproved of the change.

The change caused a number of problems, not least of all holiday travel plans. Football teams around the nation played before empty stadiums because they couldn’t change their schedule. Many games were cancelled. In what is a familiar scenario to anyone who has followed 21st-century politics, Democrats narrowly supported Franksgiving (52 to 48), Republicans widely despised it (79 to 21) and most of America didn’t like it (62 to 38).

All told, 23 states and the District of Columbia recognized the new date, while 22 preferred the traditional date. The remaining three (Colorado, Texas and Mississippi) went with both dates, meaning there was plenty of time off for everyone. In 1940, 32 states and the nation’s capital went with Franksgiving, while the remaining 16 opted for what was called “Republican Thanksgiving.”

A report from the Department of Commerce issued in 1941, found that there was no difference in retail sales due to the day of the month. Indeed, barely more than a third of all retailers even observed Franksgiving. What’s more, only two out of every seven Thanksgivings would fall on a fifth Thursday rather than a fourth. Still, a joint resolution of Congress, signed into law by President Roosevelt, permanently moved the date to the fourth Thursday, where it has stood ever since. Most states concurred, and while revelry was on the back burner thanks to the war, Thanksgiving in its final form took root by 1945.

If you ever find yourself watching the Merrie Melodies cartoon Holiday Highlights, you’ll notice a reference to two different Thanksgivings – one for Republicans and one for Democrats – that will now make sense to you.

Texas was the last state to observe the traditional “last Thursday” Thanksgiving in 1956.

Thanksgiving Haters
While it has its roots in European harvest festivals, there is perhaps no more quintessentially American holiday than Thanksgiving. Americans eat more food this day than they will any other day of the year, including the Fourth of July and Christmas Day. Unsurprisingly, there are people who think that the celebration of Thanksgiving is shameful and should be abandoned.

Both liberal college professors and some Native American activists believe the traditional story of Thanksgiving has been whitewashed by conquerors. They believe in replacing the day with a National Day of Atonement and fasting. Other prominent Native Americans such as Tim Giago, who founded the Native American Journalists Organization, believe that the celebration of Thanksgiving is a synthesis of both European and Native American traditions and is, as such, uniquely American.

The rest of us, however, will enjoy stuffing ourselves with turkey, slipping into a tryptophan coma, and waking up just in time to catch the big game or the parade. Real Americans, as it turns out, would much rather enjoy a day off than complain.
Written by Sam Jacobs.

Seems to me that the virtue of being Thankful at all times is very high on God’s list for HIS kids.

HONOR

ALOHA SAINTS, FAMILY & FRIENDS, Beloved of God and me, John3:16

HONOR “WORTH CONSIDERING” 11/25/20 From Ken Smith<><

.Today’s Scripture (Across my desk this morning from a church in Texas.)
“But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the LORD, am in this land. I will make a distinction between my people and your people.” (Exodus 8:22–23, NIV)

What Makes You Different
When God sent plague after plague on Pharaoh and his people in order to free the Israelites from slavery, what’s interesting is that the Israelites lived right next door, but the plagues never touched them. Whether it was swarms of flies, hordes of frogs, or their livestock, the Israeli side was untouched. God put a distinction of favor and blessing upon His people. God has also put a distinct favor on you that causes you to be different from those who don’t honor God. The Scripture talks about how you’ve been called out, set apart as God’s people. It says that His face shines down on you and causes you to stand out. There’s a marked difference. You have an advantage. You’re not doing life by yourself. It’s not up to just your skill, your talent, your connections. There’s a force behind you breathing in your direction, protecting you, guiding you, favoring you. The Most High God has set you apart.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that Your face is smiling down on me today, and I’m not doing life on my own. Thank You that You’ve put a distinction on my life that causes me to stand out. I believe that I will defy the odds that stand against me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Ken’s Comments:
The Big Difference in blessing and cursing here has to do with HONOR. We use the word for lots of things like, Your Honor, for a judge. Honorarium, as a student being awarded with a scholarship.

But we often forget the primary use like in Honor your father and mother. Or the Honor of Jesus. Hallowed is a word that is very similar to Honor… Let’s take a look: Honor: noun 1. high respect; great esteem. “his portrait hangs in the place of honor” Similar: distinction privilege glory tribute kudos cachet prestige fame renown merit credit importance illustriousness notability respect esteem approbation hold in great respect hold in high esteem have a high regard for admire defer to look up to think highly of appreciate. 2.adherence to what is right or to a conventional standard of conduct. “I must as a matter of honor avoid any taint of dishonesty” (So seems this is rather transparent and straight forward.) So What does the Word of God teach: There are a minimum of 335 verses containing honor, 123 in the New Testament. So it would seem that the Holy Spirit would like to make sure we have an understanding about HONOR. John 5:22-23: “For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment [that is, the prerogative of judging] to the Son [placing it entirely into His hands], 23 so that all will give honor (reverence, homage) to the Son just as they give honor to the Father. [In fact] the one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him. John 8:48-50 “ The Jews answered Him, “Are we not right when we say You are a [a] Samaritan and [that You] have a demon [and are under its power]?” 49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon. On the contrary, I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50 However, I am not seeking glory for Myself. There is One who seeks [glory for Me] and judges [those who dishonor Me]. John 12:26, “If anyone serves Me, he must [continue to faithfully] follow Me [without hesitation, holding steadfastly to Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]; and wherever I am [in heaven’s glory], there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. And this is just a few verses. Do you see how that humility, obedience and honor are all locked together?

So if we honor Jesus Christ as our LORD according to the above definitions our Heavenly Father will Honor us. Dishonor comes from self centeredness, disobedience and pride. So if you want there to be a GOD FORCE, Supernatural push behind us it is because we have learned how and are bringing honor to the name of Jesus as LORD. Many powerless ministries bring honor only to their own ministry or denomination and they are dying all around us today.

If a wife or husband dishonors the other the marriage will fail. If the children learn to dishonor their parents they will not live for long on the land. So as we make Christ Jesus the reason for our existence we will enjoy the breath of God in support of our lives. If we choose to elevate self or ministry or others in 1st place in what we do, then it will fall apart and come to nothing. By now, I know this lesson well. I have been given some very successful ministries in the LORD in the past but when I began to take upon myself HIS Honor and run off with it, it all turned to mush and was soon gone. Jesus taught us that HE would build HIS Church in Victory. And it Rev. 12:11 it is HIS Church that ultimately boots lucifer and his minions out of the heavens In Rom.8, HE has given us the Victory. But in Eph. 4:11-16 HE must be lifted up to draw all unto HIM. Not drawn to an Elder, Ministry or Denomination but only to HONOR HIM….
