Sort of feel like I am preaching to the Choir as I send this out to you, but it will not hurt a bit to consider our ways and what we are doing in the light of the Holy Scriptures. So often we allow the enemy to move us out of the peace of God through circumstances that can be corrected in Christ Jesus but we throw up our hands in the air and some even revert to swearing like a Marine and make a quick decisions that takes us from the frying pan into the fire. And I am not just preaching at you as I am also included. The enemy hates those who love Jesus and has a nasty plain for their lives and most of that plan is easily put in place if we allow circumstances to change our direction. in Christ Jesus as LORD. So let’s look again at Isaiah 9:5-7 AMP

For every [tramping] warrior’s war boots and all his armor in the battle tumult and every garment rolled in blood shall be burned as fuel for the fire. 6 For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

So notice that all of the war stuff is all going to be fuel for a big fire.   But from the Son of God shall real peace come.

We all know, for sure, that the world is into the “Wars and rumors of wars, in Matt. 24. Just about every bit of world news is about war. Guess it is an easy way for the rich to become richer. And we are headed that direction even at home.   Even in our homes we have difficulty with the lack of peace. And our LORD Jesus warned us that it would happen by the message that HE brought of Truth that disturbs the Darkness and Lies of this world. As Cain put the light out in Able, many, even so called Christians, do the same to each other in their homes and think nothing of it. Even after Peter teaches us that if we go railing for railing that our prayers will not go through. 1 Peter 3:7-12, Perhaps should copy as few of you will look it up.   “7 In the same way you married men should live considerately with [your wives], with an [a] intelligent recognition [of the marriage relation], honoring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but [realizing that you] are joint heirs of the grace (God’s unmerited favor) of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cut off. [Otherwise you cannot pray effectively.] 8 Finally, all [of you] should be of one and the same mind (united in spirit), sympathizing [with one another], loving [each other] as brethren [of one household], compassionate and courteous (tenderhearted and humble). 9 Never return evil for evil or insult for insult (scolding, tongue-lashing, berating), but on the contrary blessing [praying for their welfare, happiness, and protection, and truly pitying and loving them]. For know that to this you have been called, that you may yourselves inherit a blessing [from God—that you may obtain a blessing as heirs, bringing welfare and happiness and protection]. 10 For let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not] keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile (treachery, deceit). 11 Let him turn away from wickedness and shun it, and let him do right. Let him search for peace (harmony; undisturbedness from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts) and seek it eagerly. [Do not merely desire peaceful relations with God, with your fellowmen, and with yourself, but pursue, go after them!] 12 For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), and His ears are attentive to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who practice evil [to oppose them, to frustrate, and defeat them].   In other words, if you can not say what you feel in LOVE, SHUT UP!!!! And give it to our Lord, “Casting all of our cares upon HIM as HE cares for us.”   (Got a comment, ken@trinity-aloha.org )

James 3:5-17 is worth printing for you as well: “Even so the tongue is a little member, and it can boast of great things. See how much wood or how great a forest a tiny spark can set ablaze! 6 And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depraving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth (the cycle of man’s nature), being itself ignited by hell (Gehenna).   For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea animal, can be tamed and has been tamed by human genius (nature). 8 But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God’s likeness! 10 Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not to be so. 11 Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously] from the same opening fresh water and bitter? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine figs? Neither can a salt spring furnish fresh water. 13 Who is there among you who is wise and intelligent? Then let him by his noble living show forth his [good] works with the [unobtrusive] humility [which is the proper attribute] of true wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry, selfish ambition) in your hearts, do not pride yourselves on it and thus be in defiance of and false to the Truth. 15 This [superficial] wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual (animal), even devilish (demoniacal). 16 For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices. 17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Back in the third century Cyprian the Bishop of Carthage wrote to his friend Donatus: “It is a bad world, Donatus, an incredibly bad world. But I have discovered, in the midst of it, a quiet and holy people who have learned a great secret. They have found a joy, which is a thousand times better than any of the pleasures of our sinful life. They are despised and persecuted, but they care not. They have overcome the world. Harry S. Truman said,   “Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to al its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.”

I am noticing a severe blocking of much of the Internet now and lows being suggested that even the Bible is a “Hate” Book and needs to be removed from our society.   It appears to me that also a great 2nd world Depression is on the way and we should keep in mind to maintain a supply of needs and get a garden going if we can. 8′ – 2″x4″s use to cost $1.65 a year ago, now they are $6.50 in town and $11. at HOVE. Food prices are also greatly increasing. Which means with ever dollar printed the one’s in circulation will buy less.

Concerning of Freedom of Speech,
Often we are offended and disconnected when some one disagrees with us. In fact a lot of folks will only make friends with those which they agree. And if there is another way of looking at things, we often think the person is just stupid. Sometimes we are offended even though the other person has done nothing. Only they remind of someone who hurt us in the past. That is exactly why the Forefathers of our Constitutional Republic made it a law that people can not be silenced by fear into keeping quiet. As sometimes those who are quiet really have the right answer but are not allowed the room to express it without condemnation. That is why that the Bible teaches that before honor is humility. Humility is the ability to sincerely listen with respect in understanding a truth regardless of personal position. Not much example of humility these days. Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a great fall. And we have sure seen that at work lately.

With true Christians following the teachings of Jesus different points of view are treated with love and faith that with a careful hearing of both sides of an issue, the Truth of God will come to the surface. It is not an ego match to protect a personal pride position but a sincere effort in love to find God’s Truth that sets us free. It is not a matter of winning but a matter of coming into unity in the very truth of God. I grew up in a church pride position that kept me in a small box for years. Through the kind and loving efforts of another Christian brother I was able to be freed from that little box into a totally different world in the Holy Spirit. And in a short time found myself teaching the very doctrine that my old church was totally against. The church preached salvation very well, in fact most of the time. But as to the gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit they knew very little except for the words. And it is amazing how we can, over time, change words to mean what we want them to mean and totally miss what the Holy Spirit was trying to share at the time.

So when you come to Christian Doctrine that makes one church divided from another if you smell the air, you know that something is wrong. If they both had God’s Truth, ACTUALLY, then there would be no division, they could even have the same bank account. As the Moderator for the churches in Kona one year I was bringing up the fact of the lack of real unity. And the other ministers were offended. So I simply said, “When you all can have the same bank account I will believe you.” No one had a word to say, they all just walked away. And I am not saying that we as Christians should have the same bank account, that would be stupid. In fact I feel that even shall house churches should establish their own stewardship of the stuff for the LORD.

The Unity Factor of John 17 and the details of Eph.4:11-16 and much of the New Testament make it our responsibility to come into the Unity of the Faith in the Bond of Peace. In other words if you find any disunity. to in love, patiently work on the basis of the disunity in humility until Gods Truth prevails and HIS FREEDOM is experienced in His Truth. This is the way of Unity and Unity is the way of experiencing God’s Power for healing and deliverance. United we Stand, Divided we fall. A divided house can not stand. How can two walk together except they be agreed? The concept to agree to disagree is purely demonic and totally contrary to Holy Scripture. Humility listens, evaluates in context, seeks not its own, 1 Cor.13. Pride on the other hand will shout loudly to Maintain a position even when untenable. Atheism is loud but is totally illogical. You must know all about everything to know that something does not exist. The Greeks even figured that one out with all of the gods that they believed in they could have left one out so had a place to worship even the unknown god. Apostle Paul used this to great advantage in preaching the Good News to those guys. A rule for knowing the truth from the Word of God is that you can not “Proof Text.” You can prove very little with only one scripture on a subject. But if you take a concordance and go through the 66 books on the same subject as per Isaiah 28 and check line upon line and precept upon precept to really understand a position of truth and doctrine. there is no “Progressive” Gospel. As our Creator God has absolute foreknowledge he never makes a mistake and never has to change HIS MIND. In HIS image HE created us to be able to become like HIM including a free will. So how are we doing in learning to use our free will effectively for walking in righteousness? In Adam it did not work out so well. The sales pitch of lucifer to Eve was a beaut. All of the charm and half truths you could muster up on a short notice to make a sale. Now our whole world if full of false advertising to get this or that to make us happy. Does it work? Out of 1 to 10 perhaps a 5 and then sliding eventually into some place in storage. Our whole world is full of buying and listening to someone who has the inside tract on real life. So the best truth that I can share with you is that God and His Prophets never give us anything but TRUTH and that you can take to the Bank. Don’t know your Bible? You will go down for the count and may totally miss out on God’s best for you.

THE KING RETURNS “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/5/21 From Ken Smith<><

Tonight at Ohana Church at Ken’s House we will enjoy an evening of searching the scriptures together concerning the next Major prophetical event. The Holy Scriptures concerning “The Return of the King.” I have attached a paper concerning the event which we will be covering this evening, if interested or have questions. Gathering is a 5:30 for a shared meal and time of testimony and fellowship. Then to prayerfully be guided by the Holy Spirit for the rest of the evening. Be sure you are free of the virus.

In Matt. 24-25, Mark 13, Luke 21 the Lord’s end time prophesy is written by 3 different witnesses each seeing and having a different perspective of the same time event. So the difference can all be merged into a single prophesy with the Truth as shared by the Lord Christ Jesus. So if you compare what is happening around the world today and match it to the prophesy you will see that time seems to be forging ahead towards the next prophetical event, the snatching away or what some call the Rapture of the Church.

Personally I see in Holy Scripture that Jesus took GOD WRATH for us and when we make HIM LORD, we are no longer under God Wrath as in the Great Tribulation which is 7 years of HIS Wrath. That the Church goes home prior to the Judgment. of God’s Wrath for the rejection of HIS salvation. Also I feel that faith is a requirement to go home in the Rapture. Note. I did not mean to agree in my past blog with the brother that thought fetal parts may had been used in the virus Prep. Received some flack back on that so like to simply say, I don’t know. Not my area of expertise. If true, it would be very sad to need to consider. As this Virus attack has become politicized I am not sure we will now what really happened for many years to come.

Bottom line, we need to think of church as the people not the steeple. And that the first gathering of Christians was 11 including our Lord. That the very healthy Early Church had no buildings or paid Elders. Offering and Gifts were secured for helping the poor and sending out evangelists but that giving was a matter of the heart and of vision and not the matter of the Law in the Old Testament. Folks gathered to hear testimonies, get good teaching, share a loving meal with the Lord’s Supper. They prayed for their needs. And they took time to pray for others. And great and mighty signs were done by the Elders through the Holy Spirit to lift up Jesus. You should pray about starting a House Church in your own home. And we would be happy to help.

When I put out the note as to what to do about the vaccine, yes or no, a couple of days ago. I ask the Lord to give me 3 witnesses against it if a no. And over the past 2 days I received the 3 loving NO’s! and cancelled out. Then this afternoon I even got a 4th NO! from a dear brother who nearly died from the infection and still will not take the shots. Of those my age who catch the virus the odds are 1 in 10 die. Still good odds considering our road traffic. Sooooo, please keep me in your prayers…

It was such a great letter from my long time great friend that felt I should pass it along… I am sure he is OK with that. So here is what he wrote: “Hiya Ken. So you’re wrestling with” should I get the shot or not? ” I m not gonna do it because: heard both pfizer and moderna vaccines contain formaldehyde, and they use fetal collagen in there too. Don’t know for certain, but enough of a red flag for me. So far … no deaths among those who have had the shot, which is great!

What does your heart tell you?

I was very close to “graduation” in Nov. when I got covid and again Dec. 26-28. ICU 3 days in Portland when the systolic portion of my ticker wanted to only pump at 29% efficiency. There were several occasions when I was given The Choice to take another breath or not. I really enjoy being here and decided that there is still stuff for me to do to glorify God on Earth here and here I am with a very thankful and grateful heart and a new life and a new chapter and God is in charge. …And lo! A result of my choice was I got to go to the airport in Portland, take and get negative covid test result, fly to east coast with eldest daughter, go to the Bahamas for the first time, breathe and get stronger. walk a bit, eat great fresh food… a new chapter of healing, growth, contemplation prayer and life! Going to medical specialists for heart, eyes osteo, ears
.. on it goes, Ken. ALL GLORY HONOR AND PRAISE TO MY GOD AND KING. JESUS IS GOD! HE IS LOVE. FAITH GROWS! WE ARE RIGHT ON SCHEDULE, YOU AND ME AND US! ENTER HIS REST… Keep on preaching the GOOD NEWS of God and HIS KINGDOM COME. HE LIVES IN YOU and the best is yet to come. Life is really fun.”

My note in return:
Decided to go with faith in Jesus rather than Pfizer or Moderna. If my Heavenly Father want’s me home, no big deal. But lots to do down here and enjoy being in the middle of it. Sometimes too much to do. Seems, because of Abraham, Lot missed the time for him to go home and look at the mess he caused later. So fear is not to be our guide, Mark 16:17-18 seemed a better way to go…. But we need to keep each other in prayer. It is the unity of the faith in the bond of peace that makes room for the Holy Spirit to confirm HIS WORD with signs following. Long ago I went through 30 days of blood poisoning many years ago and nearly died. My Christian Dr. told my wife, well if we put him in the Hospital you will get a big bill. If we keep him at home and he lives, God has plans for Ken. If he dies, it is his time to go and he will have a happy landing. Played worship music the whole time and still here.

Neither vaccine has been approved through normal channels. And I heard the same things. Seems we may be in an undeclared biological war. And the U.S. is not winning. Debt load getting way up there. Seems the U.S. is now headed over the dam financially and many will say it is all Trump’s fault. And the stupid will believe it as they believed the lies in the last election on both sides.

Some times I do searches on conservative web pages and 90% of the time now the site is no longer available. Seems political censorship is now in high gear. Going to need to hide our Bibles pretty soon. We really need to pray for a national repentance and awakening. Need some fearless teaching Elders to use the Bible in context to preach out of instead of their experiences. Not sure how long we will enjoy the freedom of the Internet, but we need to use it wisely now as much as we can now.

But unless you can back up what you teach with the Bible with subject context in all 66 writings you are just sharing your feelings. I run into so called believers all the time who take a big stand on the lies of this world that work well for them but are not true. And I use to be one of them. If I could talk folks into believing what I believed then it must be true, right. Well that did not work for me or for our last election. Also there is a link on that Unity Page, a box [ The Return Of The King ] that would be a good idea to consider getting into and being prepared as Jesus told us in Matt. 25. Jesus taught that if we were sleeping at the switch we could miss out and get left behind. He taught, “ But he that endures to the end, shall be saved. Matt. 10:21-33, 24:13. So only Heart Faith, can change our lives to become like Jesus and can keep us awake and seeking the eternal world of GOD. Heart faith is experienced when the Bible is our best friend for finding God’s Truth.

[Source] In conclusion, AFD suggests that the Covid-19 experimental vaccine should not be distributed to those under 50, and in doing so, is reckless. The Coronavirus is about 10 times worse than flu. The mortality rate in the U.S. for those who catch the virus is about 1.8%. In Italy is was above 11%.

THIS SEEMED TO GIVE SOME HONEST PERSPECTIVE TO THE VIRUS ISSUE WE ARE FACING.   I AM IN THE 1 IN 90 GROUP SO GOING IN FOR A SHOT TOMORROW AT THE VA UNLESS SOMEONE TALKS ME OUT OF IT?

Not in fear of death, just be another living experience. But I would leave a big mess at this time. Still have much to do. But a bit concerned about others. But not a good way to go either. And there is so much left to do yet down here. Been trying to find 100% Christians and seems they are very scarce.

Personally, I would like to go home in the victory of the Rapture. The victory of our LORD over death, hell and the grave where the Bride goes home in the Glory of God to be joined with HIM for eternity. It is through these great and precious promises that we become like HIM. What we believe, changes the way that we live and what we do. Salvation is totally by faith, but if you have real saving faith it will also change your life to be more like Jesus.   Salvation is not Fire Insurance but a total change of life style. Our Creator is building a new Kingdom of Righteousness and we are all invited. We are given new garments of faith at the door to wear but we must put them on to be able to go on into the union with GOD for HIS new Kingdom of Righteousness. So death can be a door to outer darkness and being alone or it can be a door into a brand new creation of God and a big change to be able to be in HIS presence. He is not going to allow the pride and rebellion of this world to contaminate His new kingdom. This dimension of time for decision will come to an end and be gone very soon. It is not like I have all of the answers.   I am still looking.   You may have more answers than I do.   That is the why of the unity factor.   “United we stand, divided we fall.” “ A divided house can not stand.” “How can two walk together unless they be agreed.”   1 Cor. 12 tells us all about it.

If I had all the answers I would be like Jesus, but ask my wife, not yet.   So I am hoping we can look for the answers together.   Soon I will have an additional page and section in my web files concerning Unity in the HOLY SPIRIT.   Obviously much of the so called theater church of today is more like a holding pen to fatten cattle than like the Powerful Early Acts Church.   I see the Holy Scriptures as a timeless guide book that holds the Truth of God out to the world by example and needs to be presented in the language of each generation. But we must learn and share the difference between the darkness and light. Got to keep JESUS, Peter, Paul, James, John and Jude as our teacher if we are ever going to find the balance of Love, Holiness and Power that reveals Jesus as LORD.

Study John 17 and Eph.4:11-16 if you want some help in perfecting yourself and the Saints. Personally I don’t have the time for another crash so the Holy Spirit has my full attention at this time. If you have tried it your way and where has it gone? The enemy can sure keep us busy with stuff, work and other people if we are not discerning. God is interested in quality, not quantity…. Is your life all about you or does it belongs to Jesus, every day is a choice for me or for HIM. I know that much of what I write to you is directly from the Holy Spirit and in the resurrection you may need to give an answer for what you have done with it.   But there is no way for this to help you unless you want it to help in the LORD.   And that is not to say that all I have written is heavenly anointed but much of it is eat the fish and toss the bones.   And what is Jesus doing through the Holy Spirit with you to help souls find HIS Kingdom today. For me, it is to start a small hot fire in the middle of this cold spiritual rain storm in my home. And I am starting to get a small spark at this time and a lot of smoke.   And that is OK and normal for starting a fire. So we get to burn out or to rot out. Which would you prefer?

Has an old ofuro (Japanese Hot Tub) that also needs fixing. Does have running water at this time.

We are now enjoying a Friday evening “House Church” at 5:30 with a shared meal, fellowship, prayer, worship when we have a musican and some Bible. Looking forward to building that 100% unity factor so we can enjoy the Holy Spirit in power.

Are you very sure you are being guided by the Holy Spirit and not BEING chased by fear? God is well able to protect US if guided by HIM. Job is a great example of how fear works. “That which I greatly feared came upon me.” Because of his fear he lost his kids, health and wealth, but later restored x 2 through faith. Peter, a fisherman, was taught by Jesus to help bring the world to Jesus as LORD. Peter opened the doors to the Jews and to the Gentiles through the power of the Holy Spirit. And through the power of the Holy Spirit the Church was started on Pentecost. The enemy can do nothing to us except allowed by God because we are in fear. Fear is faith going backwards. We can not save ourselves of others in fear and without Faith, Heb. 11. And if in faith our armor is perfect for any battle. Roman 8 says it very nicely. “31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side? ] 32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?] 34 Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us? 35 Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? 36 Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors [m] and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things [n] impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, 39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

We are instructed by our Lord Jesus to help bring the world to HIM in Rev. 22:17: “The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need [d] of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost.

If we help build or join a HOT HOLY SPIRIT fire of Love, Holiness and Power, the hungry who are cold and wet will come and drink of the “Waters of Life.” Turn on the lights and they will come. There are a lot of really thirsty cold souls out there. But we need to get a good fire going first so that those folks can experience a true Church of Christ Jesus. And those looking for HIS light will come. It is not about the stuff or traditions, it is about the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the Truth of God.

Had a little laps today, Cindy got me a Pepsi and her (being more spiritual) got a mango juice. Quit drinking them 3 years ago. Don’t know whether to repent or PTL…. Sure good though…. So just to accept it is a unusual treat and PTL? Says made in Hawaii on the can, that’s nice, rationalizing. Most of what we buy in hardware is still coming from China. So made with deep well Hawaiian spring water so hope you are not running in fear and it is sometime hard to know the difference. Job sure had an issue about fear !! But we do need a John 17 unity with others to make Church really happen. None of us have all of the parts in ourselves to do what Jesus did. But collectively we can and we will have it together before we get to go home.

We are now beginning to build a little hot fire here in Kealia on Friday evening at 5:30 with a shared meal, fellowship, talk story, music when we have some help and a bit of Bible with prayer. Feel free to come if sure you know you are free of the virus.

A new driver for an interstate trucking company was having a difficult time. He found the long cross-country trips extremely tiring. The older driver who traveled with him, however, seemed to thrive on those long trips. He always seemed to look as fresh at the end of the ride as he did at the beginning.

THE CHURCH of TOMORROW -by Andrew Strom

A lot of people probably read some of our writings and wonder, “Where is all this headed? What is the goal?” A glib answer might be- “We want to get back to real ‘New Testament’ Christianity.”
But what exactly does that look like? This is an important topic – and something I have pondered a great deal over the years. What exactly would the ‘New Testament Church’ look like if it was translated into a modern western city?

To get started, I want you to forget about today’s church just for a moment – with all her obvious problems and contradictions, and picture something quite different. I want you to imagine that you are still living in the same city, in the same year, but you are right in the middle of a ‘Book of Acts’-type scenario. Somehow everything has changed.

For some reason, all of the Spirit-filled Christians in your city have left their Denominations and divisions behind. They have truly begun to fulfill the prayer of Jesus – “That they all may be ONE”. They now hold huge gatherings all over the city – right out in the open. And as
well as these united gatherings, on most streets there is now a house-meeting, where all the Spirit-filled believers from that street gather together, eating and sharing and having communion, etc. (ie. A “NEIGHBORHOOD CHURCH”). The power of God flowing in these house-meetings is amazing. Many healings and miracles are occurring. The ‘gifts’ flow freely every day.

It seems also that many of the church buildings and cathedrals have simply been abandoned. No longer do Christians want to hide themselves away behind “four walls”. They want to gather out where the people are – presenting Jesus to the whole world. They want to be truly “one body”. There is no way that any of their old buildings could contain the crowds, anyhow.

And the men whom God has raised up to lead this vast movement do not seem much like the ‘Reverends’ or even the ‘televangelists’ of old. In fact, quite a few of them have never even been to Bible College, and they seem to be very plain, ordinary people from humble backgrounds. But what an anointing! It is very clear to everyone that these ‘apostles and prophets’ (as they are known) have spent many years in prayer and brokenness before God – drawing closer and closer to Him. When they speak, the very fear of the Lord seems to come down, and many people repent deeply of their sins. Demons are cast out and the blind and crippled are made whole. -These kinds of things are happening all the time. The whole city is just in awe of what is going on, and thousands upon thousands are being saved. Even the newspapers and television are full of it.

As soon as someone repents they are immediately baptized in water and hands are laid on them for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. -This is expected from day one! And it is also expected that every Christian has a gift and calling from God – and that they should be encouraged to move forward and fulfill their calling. No longer is there a distinction made between those who are “ministers” and those who are merely ‘laity’. Now it is expected that EVERYONE is a minister of the Lord! (However, there are ‘elders’ – ie. older Christians to guide things).

Some of the bishops and pastors from several denominations have actually denounced this great move of God very strongly. They say it is “deception” and warn their people to stay away. (-Every Revival in history has been accused of this – usually by religious leaders). But to be honest, it is so obvious to most people that God is the one behind it all, that very few take these men seriously. The Spirit of God is sweeping all before Him. The glory of the Lord has come.

One of the reasons that these leaders are so upset is that a lot of the Christians’ GIVING now does not go to church buildings, but rather to the POOR. In fact, God has spoken to many people to start supporting widows and orphans overseas, etc. They also give generously to anyone in their midst who is in need. Many even sell their own possessions in order to do this.

The huge over-riding theme of this great movement is LOVE. “Behold how they love one another” is the catch-cry of many who watch this ‘new church’ in action. And everyone is given to MUCH PRAYER. And so, gathering “as one” in the outdoors and breaking bread from house to house, they eat together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord adds to their number daily those who are being saved.

CAN This REALLY HAPPEN?

The above description is taken straight out of the Book of Acts – as applied to today. Everything in the above paragraphs is put there to give you an idea of what it would be like to live in the Jerusalem church at the start of Acts. -And it was like that for YEARS. Imagine the impact of such a church on the world around it! God is wanting to do this again. And He wants to use ordinary people like you and me to help bring it to pass.

I am convinced that we are NOT supposed to treat the early church as a “special case”. It was given to us as an ‘example’. It is what the “normal” church should be like all the time! And yet we have fallen so far below this standard. Only in times of Revival do we approach it again for a time. But I believe it is supposed to be “normal” for the church to be like this – day in and day out. This is the way that Jesus always wanted us to be.

However, one thing is clear. It will take a great “SHAKING” for us to get anywhere close to the above description today. You have to be aware that in order to get there from here, a whole lot of ‘hierarchies’ and church boards and careers and titles and positions would be on the line. And a lot of men simply don’t want to lose those things. It doesn’t matter to them whether it is Truth or not. If it affects their reputation, their position or their organization, they will oppose it with everything they have. Sadly it is very difficult to see a “smooth” transition to this kind of Christianity. I believe we are in for a shaky ride. But I certainly believe that it is on God’s agenda. And like the Great Reformation before it, I believe He will do WHATEVER IT TAKES in order to get us there. Let us settle for nothing less – WHATEVER IT TAKES. God bless you all.

Back in the 70’s when the Holy Spirit empowered a supernatural work among the flood of hippies in Hawaii we had many many weddings. Sometimes two at a time. Bill and Bobby came to me one day as I was praying out on a big rock on the ocean side of the old stone church. Bill came up on one side and Bobby on the other and they confessed that they really love witnessing together and praying together but they felt the idea of marriage might spoil everything. And as I listened I was amazed at how much alike that they were in spirit, like two halves of something. And the Holy Spirit had already told me that they would be getting married. So when they were finished explaining everything I simple said, I already have the answer for you, Get Married. And they ran off to make the preparations. Bill Boyd became the very 1st ordained deacon of the ministry. And Bill and Bobby in their ministry together profited the Kingdom of God abundantly at that time.

I say this to remind us that the Holy Spirit is seeking to bring the True Church of Christ Jesus into being a MATCH for The King of Kings. It is not an individual thing, it is a collective thing. Apostle Paul gives a great teaching on it for us to not be ignorant and carried away by the idols of this world: 1 Cor. 12:13-25. “For by [ [a] means of the personal agency of one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, baptized [and [b] by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit. 14 For the body does not consist of one limb or organ but of many. 15 If the foot should say, Because I am not the hand, I do not belong to the body, would it be therefore not [a part] of the body? 16 If the ear should say, Because I am not the eye, I do not belong to the body, would it be therefore not [a part] of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where [would be the sense of] hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where [would be the sense of] smell? 18 But as it is, God has placed and arranged the limbs and organs in the body, each [particular one] of them, just as He wished and saw fit and with the best adaptation. 19 But if [the whole] were all a single organ, where would the body be? 20 And now there are [certainly] many limbs and organs, but a single body. 21 And the eye is not able to say to the hand, I have no need of you, nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 But instead, there is [absolute] necessity for the parts of the body that are considered the more weak. 23 And those [parts] of the body which we consider rather ignoble are [the very parts] which we invest with additional honor, and our unseemly parts and those unsuitable for exposure are treated with seemliness (modesty and decorum), 24 Which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so adjusted (mingled, harmonized, and subtly proportioned the parts of) the whole body, giving the greater honor and richer endowment to the inferior parts which lack [apparent importance], 25 So that there should be no division or discord or lack of adaptation [of the parts of the body to each other ] , but the members all alike should have a mutual interest in and care for one another. Think about how the cells work in your body as a road map and a prime example.

And this is the way the Bride of Christ/Body of Christ will become prior to the resurrection… John 17 and Eph.4:11-16 will become a living fact in this dimension of time in victory prior to the translation of the Church unto the Lord in the Clouds of the Air. This is the Romans 8 Victory that Christ Jesus bought on the Cross for Himself and for us. Few will find their place in the completion, I pray you make it. You are invited, Rev.22:17 but you have every right to refuse if you want to.

Well my wife feels that Costa Rica might be a good choice. A lot of Ex-Pats. down there and the cost of living is much less that here.   I guess anywhere other than Hawaii would be a cheaper place to live.   Most fresh foods here are now up to $2-$3 per pound at Choice Mart (Close to Us) and not much better at the farmers mkt’s…

Security seems to be getting less and less,   schools turning out kids with no since of moral values or ethic.   Most church denomination on life support. Really easy to get to the place where the glass is less than half full, from the worlds point of view than mostly full.   But of course that is from a world point of view.

But from a Biblical point of view none of this is of any issue. As a Christian my calling is to share the concerns and the vision of my LORD. None of this kind of stuff concerned HIM at all.   Even facing the most painful death possible HE clearly spoke to Pilate that HIS Kingdom was not of this world, John 18:36.   So as the Kingdom of our LORD, Christ Jesus, is not of this world and this world is passing away, then why get so excited about trying and save it?   Perhaps is it only the after birth for the real life to be born? Perhaps it was created to only last as long as needed for the purpose and vision of our Creator? In Rev. 21 we see a brand new creation being made to replace the old. Our LORD was concerned only about the souls living on the earth that they might have the TRUTH of GOD to set them free from it. The freedom to learn to exercise their free will unto righteousness in Christ Jesus. So if we are attached to the world how shall we then ever become free of it?

So at the same time the world is headed into darkness, as Jude called it, “the blackness of darkness for ever;” The children of Light are learning how to jump to light speed at the coming of the King and into a new world of righteousness. So if we really want to be the Children of the Light, Jesus has made that possible, 1 Thess. 5:5-6, “For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness. 6 Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect). So it is the purpose of God’s Grace as follows, 2 Tim.1:10:   ” [ It is that purpose and grace ] which He now has made known and has fully disclosed and made real [to us] through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, Who annulled death and made it of no effect and brought life and immortality (immunity from eternal death) to light through the Gospel.

The Gospel, So all should want the “Gospel” what a wonderful God vision. But do we really know the meaning of the word Gospel. Do we really know what the word means according to the Bible or only according to someone’s teachings?   Do we really know the Truth of the Gospel to the extent that we can share it with someone who would love to be found in God’s Light.   Most so called Christians only want a “Get out of hell, FREE.” Card. Isa.28 would be a good read concerning that fiction. The word Gospel is mentioned 138 times in the Amplified Bible in the New Testament. The words simple mean “Good News”   But good news is only valuable if you know what it is and how to really get it to work for you in your own life.

So as to where we live and what we eat or drink it should all be guided by the Holy Spirit and for the Kingdom of God. If we are Truly children of HIS Light then we should be following in HIS steps, HIS vision and HIS purpose while on earth.

El Monte police said the city’s First Works Baptist church building was attacked at 1 am Saturday when an “improvised explosive device” was thrown at it. No one was in the building at the time and no injuries have been reported. The international Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) human rights organization has called for the immediate release of a pastor who is in custody in Cuba on what the group says are “trumped-up charges.” Cuban pastor Karel Parra Rosabal was arrested in Las Tunas on January 12 apparently because of his involvement with the Apostolic Movement, a network of independent churches that the Cuban government refuses to register, rendering them effectively illegal. Israel on Monday night shuttered Ben Gurion Airport to nearly all flights until the end of January, amid fears over fast-spreading or vaccine-resistant coronavirus variants entering the country. Supporters of jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny have called for new protests after thousands were detained in the largest rallies against Russian President Vladimir Putin in years. Security seems to be getting less and less,   schools turning out kids with no since of moral values or ethic.   Most church denomination on life support. Really easy to get to the place where the glass is less than half full, from the worlds point of view than mostly full.   But of course that is from a world point of view.

But from a Biblical point of view none of this is of any issue. As a Christian my calling is to share the concerns and the vision of my LORD. None of this kind of stuff concerned HIM at all.   Even facing the most painful death possible HE clearly spoke to Pilate that HIS Kingdom was not of this world, John 18:36.   So as the Kingdom of our LORD, Christ Jesus, is not of this world and this world is passing away, then why get so excited about trying and save it?   Perhaps is it only the after birth for the real life to be born? Perhaps it was created to only last as long as needed for the purpose and vision of our Creator? In Rev. 21 we see a brand new creation being made to replace the old. Our LORD was concerned only about the souls living on the earth that they might have the TRUTH of GOD to set them free from it. The freedom to learn to exercise their free will unto righteousness in Christ Jesus. So if we are attached to the world how shall we then ever become free of it?

So at the same time the world is headed into darkness, as Jude called it, “the blackness of darkness for ever;” The children of Light are learning how to jump to light speed at the coming of the King and into a new world of righteousness. So if we really want to be the Children of the Light, Jesus has made that possible, 1 Thess. 5:5-6, “For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness. 6 Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect). So it is the purpose of God’s Grace as follows, 2 Tim.1:10:   ” [ It is that purpose and grace ] which He now has made known and has fully disclosed and made real [to us] through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, Who annulled death and made it of no effect and brought life and immortality (immunity from eternal death) to light through the Gospel.

The Gospel, So all should want the “Gospel” what a wonderful God vision. But do we really know the meaning of the word Gospel. Do we really know what the word means according to the Bible or only according to someone’s teachings?   Do we really know the Truth of the Gospel to the extent that we can share it with someone who would love to be found in God’s Light.   Most so called Christians only want a “Get out of hell, FREE.” Card. Isa.28 would be a good read concerning that fiction. The word Gospel is mentioned 138 times in the Amplified Bible in the New Testament. The words simple mean “Good News”   But good news is only valuable if you know what it is and how to really get it to work for you in your own life.

So as to where we live and what we eat or drink it should all be guided by the Holy Spirit and for the Kingdom of God. If we are Truly children of HIS Light then we should be following in HIS steps, HIS vision and HIS purpose while on earth.
