Today’s Scripture
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…”  (Ecclesiastes 9:10, NIV)

Open the Door to Blessing
When you give 100 percent effort, and you do it to the best of your ability because you’re honoring God, you will have His blessing. That means it will be easier, it will go better, and you will accomplish more. That’s why no matter what we do, we should give it our best. This is especially true even in the little things. For example, when you’re doing the dishes or mowing the lawn, don’t drag around all sour and frustrated. Mow with enthusiasm, as though you’re on a mission from God! With every step, thank God that your legs work. Thank Him that you’re healthy and strong. At the office, don’t do just enough to get by. You’re not working unto people, you’re working unto God. Do it with your whole heart. When you volunteer at church, don’t wake up and think, “Awe, man. Why did I volunteer? I want to sleep in!” No, serve Him with all your heart because that’s what honors God. When you honor God, He’ll honor you. He’ll give you His life, peace, health and blessing now and forevermore!

A Prayer for Today
“Father God, thank You for Your hand of blessing on my life. I choose today to serve You with my whole heart and do everything to the best of my ability. Thank You for Your faithfulness to me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts:
It is my understanding in the physical, that muscles grow biger when pressed a little beyond their capacity.  You know,  “What does not kill you, makes you stronger!”   It would see to be the same in the spiritual realm as well.   When we commit ourselves to “cleaning to the corners” then we are blessed with more to work with and more exciting things to do.  The word used in the Bible is heartily:

Col.3:23   “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the LORD, and not unto men;”

So if you are interested in Spiritual Growth then looking for the soft stuff to slid by on will keep you in the same little boring box that has become your comfort zone.  Some ex-believers have even died spiritually in their little, self made,  comfort zones.  Rom. 11:20-22,  Heb.6:4-8

As a growing edge, sharing your faith with others, is a good start.  Giving the folks who walk in darkness the light of God has great rewards and also potential persecutions.  But a spiritual growing edge, it is.  Giving out tracts gives us a lot of growing room over fear.  But when you find a soul who is looking for light and give them HIS light, there is such great rewards.  Want to really get out on your growing edge,  start a “New Testament House Church” or join one.  Never know what is going to happen.  Bible only, no traditions.  We have been under attack for some weeks now for starting a “House Church” in the middle of enemy territory,  but are getting stronger.    Jesus told Peter,  “…Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”  I believe this is still true today as per John 17:20,  2,000 years later.  So let get with it, clean to the corners and go fish for for the souls of men.

I do a little fishing in the “Liturgical pond” with my internet domain:  www.CCCInt.org   Smells Catholic but pure Bible..  Might use with your Catholic Friends.   Gets a lot of Internet action,  in eternity will find out how much good it did.  You never know but it is out of the boat and on the water.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org
