WOMEN

WOMEN        “WORTH CONSIDERING”    8/26/22

I have always wondered about the scriptures concerning women.  If Adam was “very good” in the creation story, Gen.1:31, why did he need a helper?  As in Gen.2:18 where the Amplified adds a bit of observation:   “Now the Lord God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] [I] suitable and complementary for him.”   Of course we all know that this was the planning from the beginning.

So we follow along with the Gen. account and find big problem in Gen 3:6: “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise and insightful, she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband [c] with her, and he ate.   So seems like one big emotional decision for the helper to be making.   Especially in that she was well aware of the commandments of God,  Gen. 3:2: “We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden, 3 except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God said, ‘You shall not eat from it nor touch it, otherwise you will die.’”   She got the die part right but God had only said, not to eat it.   So Eve even knew not even to not touch it.   But the truth got eclipsed by her emotions.   And then Adam blamed the whole problem upon God, Gen. 3:12, “And the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me—she gave me [fruit] from the tree, and I ate it.”   And so for 3,500 years later we are looked back in time to the words of Moses to tell us what happened in the beginning some 6,000 years ago.  And it is amazing as we observe the same story being played out over and over in our generations.  So in light of many scriptures on the subject,
Proverbs 31,10,   Luke 20:34-35,   1 Cor.14:34-38,    Eph. 5:22-24,    And of course 1 Peter 3 which brings it all together,

“ In the same way, you wives, be [a] submissive to your own husbands [subordinate, not as inferior, but out of respect for the responsibilities entrusted to husbands and their accountability to God, and so partnering with them] so that even if some do not obey the word [of God], they may be won over [to Christ] without discussion by the godly lives of their wives, 2 when they see your modest and respectful behavior [together with your devotion and appreciation—love your husband, encourage him, and enjoy him as a blessing from God]. 3 Your adornment must not be merely external—with interweaving and elaborate knotting of the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or [being superficially preoccupied with] dressing in expensive clothes; 4 but let it be [the inner beauty of] the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, [one that is calm and self-controlled, not overanxious, but serene and spiritually mature] which is very precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this way in former times the holy women, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands and adapting themselves to them; 6 just as Sarah obeyed Abraham [following him and having regard for him as head of their house], calling him [b] lord. And you have become her daughters if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear [that is, being respectful toward your husband but not giving in to intimidation, nor allowing yourself to be led into sin, nor to be harmed].  7 In the same way, you husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way [with great gentleness and tact, and with an intelligent regard for the marriage relationship], as with [c] someone physically weaker, since she is a woman. Show her honor and respect as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered or ineffective. 8 Finally, all of you be like-minded [united in spirit], sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted [courteous and compassionate toward each other as members of one household], and humble in spirit; 9 and never return evil for evil or insult for insult [avoid scolding, berating, and any kind of abuse], but on the contrary, give a blessing [pray for one another’s well-being, contentment, and protection]; for you have been called for this very purpose, that you might inherit a blessing [from God that brings well-being, happiness, and protection]. 10 For, “The one who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not],  Must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile (treachery, deceit).11 “He must turn away from wickedness and do what is right.   He must search for peace [with God, with self, with others] and pursue it eagerly [actively—not merely desiring it].12  “For the eyes of the Lord are [looking favorably] upon the righteous (the upright),And His ears are attentive to their prayer (eager to answer),  But the face of the Lord is against those who practice evil.”

So our Lord is purifying to Himself through the sanctification of the Holy Spirit a Holy Righteous people to be HIS Body, Church, “Rod of Iron.”  (do a study on “Rod of Iron.) There are so few women who understand this responsibility of being the example to set before their husband for their husband to become convicted and  put on that same humility and obedience with our LORD JESUS. It is amazing the way that the Holy Spirit has structured the Church.  John 17:20-26.    So even in a marriage, as the church, if there is no loving unity, there is no power.  1 Tim.3:5.    So in the creation,  God knew that man was going to need some good help in getting hold of how he was to treat Jesus as LORD.  So GOD gave women the responsibility of setting that example of loving humility for men to learn to follow.  Have you have ever looked at it that way before?   1 Pet.3 is God’s loving direction for women to show men how HE want’s men to relate to Jesus.   That is why the Church of Christ Jesus is called HIS BRIDE and WIFE in Rev. 19….  It will be easy for a Godly woman to do that with ease in the Kingdom.   But with men it is going to take some deep dying and getting use to being the bride/wife of Christ Jesus as LORD.  So if you men need some help in finding your identity in Jesus, find a Godly woman and observe her actions with her husband.  My Granddaughter is on track with her husband,  she is amazing to watch. And all of her 8 children call her blessed as also do I.   If you goto: www.OhanaChurch.Life and find the link: “Keys To The Kingdom,   in the contents you will find “God and Authority” I wrote this article about 20 yrs. ago,  near the bottom of the study, please find: “Women in Authority and Ministry”   You may enjoy the thoughts there.   If not, let me know.   Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful Grace & Mercy,   Ken<>< www.OhanaChurch.Life

There is but ONE Church of Christ Jesus as LORD, Rom. 10:9-10,
All who Love, Honor and Obey HIM are eternal members.

World News:
Bloomberg just published an unsettling report.   It seems that U.S. utilities have found Ruski malware deep inside our power grid.   What does this mean?  It means we could be facing one of the biggest catastrophes in history.   Something that could push America into the dark ages.  So forget about the downfall of digital currencies, a crumbling economy, or anything else the media is brainwashing us with.  Pretty soon, none of that may matter.

Ken,   I did not check this out but sounds very reasonable.  Anyone else know anything about it?
But if true, a bad virus,  could shut down everything using power and all shipping to Hawaii would stop, overnight.
