KINGDOM OF GOD

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS,  Beloved of God,   John 3:16-18

KINGDOM OF GOD,   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   10/14/19,  (Across my desk this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“So that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead…”
(Philippians 3:11, NLT)
Be Life-Changing

Can you imagine what it must have been like to be sailing on the Mayflower into an unknown and uncharted world? How did Neil Armstrong feel as he became the first person to ever step onto the surface of the moon? Those were risky and certainly life-changing times in history, but life-changing doesn’t just belong in the past. God still wants you to step out into something great for His glory and for your blessing and fulfillment.

It all begins in your thinking. Don’t be contained in your mind. Let me tell you what I know about you. Some of you will write books that will touch millions of people. Some of you will develop medicines that will impact our world. Some of you will have a ministry that will shake nations. Some of you will develop software that will revolutionize businesses. If you will break free from your limited mindset and enlarge your vision, you will see God take you places that you’ve never even dreamed of.

A Prayer for Today
“God, I know that You want great things from me. Help me to have the daring faith that You can do anything if I will trust You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

My Thoughts,
Even before becoming a Christian in 1955 some how, deep in my soul, I knew that this life was only a room with a door to the next life.  That this was not all that there was.  I also was aware that there was stuff in me that was destructive,  counter productive and even deadly as I later found that Paul writes about in Rom. 7:15-17.  It was sort of a love/hate reality.  Something in me enjoyed the darkness, in fact, still does, that in faith that I am seeking and finding deliverance from in Christ Jesus.  But it takes love, faith, humility and obedience to go there.  Pride is so deceitful, destructive and so common in this world.

So through the Holy Scriptures I find that there is a Kingdom to gain and the lies of darkness to loose.   So I try to keep heading in the direction of the light in spite of the darkness.  A darkness that is in so much of this world’s life and yet seems OK for most folks.  From the time that I ask Christ Jesus to be my LORD and my Creator God for forgiveness for my past sins of darkness I have found a certain sense of security in heading in the direction of light and truth.  Not that is has not been difficult at times to maintain heading for the light.  The lies of darkness are so subtle, invasive and prevalent in this world’s system of doing things.  But by the beauty that I find on earth I know there must be a Creator God.  And in the words of HIS prophets I find so much love and light that I know they must have been taught by HIM.  And so there also must be a Kingdom of Righteousness to come that I need to get ready for or miss.  In reality the only thing I have to offer is humility and obedience to the truth that I find as shared by HIS Prophets.  The rest is up to HIM, even the grace to go there.    But it seems there are no limitations to faith as to what can be accomplished in this world and sent ahead for HIS soon coming Eternal Kingdom of Righteousness.  Seems to me now that this life is a temporary time of learning and testing from which we graduate into light or darkness as per our choices.  My prayer is that you also are investing your time on earth profitable for that Kingdom.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy,   Ken<><   www.Trinity-Aloha.org
