SECURITY      “WORTH CONSIDERING”      2/27/19   (from Joel this morning)

Today’s Scripture
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love…”(Romans 8:38, NLT)

Nothing Can Separate You from God’s Love
No matter how many weaknesses you think you have, you are very special to God! You are beautifully, wonderfully and uniquely made, and you need to celebrate His handiwork in you! Too many times, people compare their lives to others rather than looking to God’s promises and celebrating what God has given them. Worrying about your weaknesses will distract you and keep you from fulfilling your destiny. Don’t waste your time looking back, reliving what you did. You may be saying, “You just don’t know how I’ve lived. You mean to say I’m not supposed to feel guilty and condemned? That I don’t need to pay God back for all my mistakes by going around feeling bad about myself?” Yes, that is exactly right! Jesus came so you can be forgiven and have an abundant life. So begin seeing yourself today as God sees you.

A Prayer for Today
“God, thank You for loving me unconditionally without holding my sins against me. Give me the power to stay on track and fulfill my destiny for this day and every day.”

My Comments:
St. Paul in Romans 8:24- 39 is a wonderful promise of GOD which I believe with all of my heart but the context also includes Romans Chapter 7 and especially Romans 8:13-14.   So we see that there is a factor that can disrupt Roman 8:38 and it is what we do with our free will.  In order for us to live in Rom. 8:38, we must also live in Rom. 8:13-14 by turning our lives over to Christ Jesus in humility and obedience as LORD to love and follow HIM and keep HIS Commandments.  We must embrace the process of Sanctification in wanting to become like HIM,  1 John 4:17.   Otherwise we will not make it.
The original vision was to make us in HIS image and likeness.  He has not changed HIS mind.

In 1968 my son and Ken Kesey’s son went to school together and became good friends so eventually Ken and I became good friends.   I had some really interesting times at Ken’s farm and with Ken.  His bus “Further.”  And one day at his ranch I went over and they were all in a little building with a tank of NO2 (laughing gas) getting high passing a tube around to inhale the gas.  I set down in the circle,  not interested at all in the gas.   And the girl next to me was totally uninhibited and started talking to me about what the Bible said about stuff she was interested in.  I did not have my Bible with me and so she ran and got Ken’s bible from the dining room.   I opened it up and it was the holiest Bible I had ever seen.  Ken had been extracting Bible verses with an xacto knife and much was missing.  He was writing a book and used the verses in the book,  (early cut and paste.)    It reminds me, as I look back, to remember to use the whole Bible and to leave nothing out.   We had a 2-3 hour uninhibited Bible study that afternoon with Ken’s Confetti Bible as the Scriptures are so redundant that if missing in one place you can find the same TRUTH in many other places.   So while the above message by Joel is very true and nothing outside of our selves can remove us from salvation,  we can, through our pride and disobedience totally miss the jump to light speed.

Rom. 8:     13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Hell

Questions on Hell, do you know the answers? Bill Wiese writes many books on the subject and says that he was there for 23 minutes. I have not read his books as yet. I Would rather stay with only what the Bible teaches about it. But teach about it, it does profusely. But rarely preached on these days. Not to generate fear but simple to try to share what the future looks like on the dark side. This came across my desk this morning from Charisma Magazine.

QUESTIONS THAT BILL WIESE SUGGESTED IN HIS BOOKS TO ANSWER:

Is hell a literal burning place? NO, in MANY places in the New Testament it is stated to be of total darkness. So fire is metaphorical in giving us a understanding of the degree of pain that is involved. Matt.8:12, 10:22:13. A physical fire would have absolutely no effect on a spiritual soul that does not posses a body. 1 Cor. 15:44. Luke 24:39. Upon death our body dies but not our soul. For those who are resurrected in Christ Jesus the Creator creates a new spiritual body that is eternal. And I don’t believe there will be any toilets in heaven nor trash to dump. The new body will be absolutely compatible and existing totally energized by God’s power.

Where is hell? Before the resurrection of Christ Jesus it was considered to have two compartments one of torment and the other the Old Testament Paradise or to be in Abraham’s presence. The Old Testament Saints in waiting for God’s sacrifice. In the resurrection Christ Jesus took Abraham and those with him to heaven. Hell is one place but the Lake of Fire is in another and is eternal. May even be a different dimension entirely.

Do you have a body in hell? NO !, Having rejected the Creator’s salvation also means also having rejected all that HE has created including a physical body.

Are there degrees of punishment in hell? YES, “To whom much is giving shall much be required: and to whom little is given shall little be required, Luke 12:48.

Are there children in hell? NO !, Responsibility for sin begins when TRUTH is known and rejected, Rom. 1:18. David’s new son by Bathsheba in adultery died and went to heaven.

Can demons torment people in hell? NO ! They will be tormented as well by lost potentials. It is my understanding that in Hell and finally the Lake of Fire that the torment will be due to lost potential. To have a total recall of all of the opportunities that were afforded by the Love of God in Christ Jesus. And having rejected them to relive those opportunities over and over though out eternity with no off switch and no place of repentance or restitution. Rev.22:11-15.

Can “good” people go to hell? YES? The concept that there are “good” people is an earthly perspective and as such is a lie when compared to an absolutely Holy Creator.

Why do some people who have near-death experience see a bright light? They are headed towards the light as they have been forgiven in Christ Jesus who is the “Lamb of God” for salvation.

Will those who never heard of Jesus go to hell? Yes, but judged according to their knowledge of good and evil. Rom. 1:18….

Is hell eternal, or are those in hell simply annihilated? The human soul is created eternal in the image of GOD so it is a matter only of placement.

Why can’t God let someone out of hell after a certain period of time? NO, nor will any in Heaven with God be sent to the Lake of Fire. The former things are completed and passed away.

Does occasional sin deserve eternal punishment? NO !, It is having or not having faith that make the difference It is the rejection of Christ Jesus as the covering for sin that requires eternal separation from GOD. All are sinners and worthy of punishment. “Even the righteousness of God , which is by faith of Jesus Christ, unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

If you have any questions, please feel free to get back to me but not with feelings and emotions as they are totally unreliable for spiritual truth. Yours, in HIS great love. Ken<><

Enthusiasm

Want the Joys of Blessings and be in Peace? Want Enthusiasm?
This little piece of Biblical perspective has a nice ring to it. Came across my desk today. The Key words I have made darker. It shares about serving God with a whole heart in everything for HIS Blessings to be able to happen. Blessings and Obedience are tightly woven together. So each of us are in HIS school learning obedience if we belong to HIM. Even as HE endured the same school. May you be blessed in your day, Ken<>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org Hebrews 5:8-9 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Today’s Scripture "You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace…" (Isaiah 55:12, NIV) The word “enthusiasm” comes from the Greek word “entheos.” “Theos” is God. When you’re enthusiastic, it simply means you are full of God. When you get up in the morning excited about your future, recognizing that day is a gift and go out with a spring in your step, pursuing your goals and passionate about life, then God will breathe in your direction. Studies even tell us that people who are enthusiastic get better breaks. They’re promoted more often. That’s not a coincidence. When you’re full of passion, you have the favor of God. Remember, God didn’t breathe His life into us to drag through the day. He didn’t create us in His image, crown us with His favor, and equip us with His power to just go through the motions of life. You may have had some setbacks, the wind may have been taken out of your sail, but this is a new day! God wants to breathe new life back into you. If you’ll get your fire back, get your passion back, the wind will start blowing once again. When you’re in agreement with God, He can cause the winds of favor to shift in your direction! A Prayer for Today "Heavenly Father, thank You for another sunrise, another day, another opportunity to praise You and pursue the dreams You’ve given me. Help me to stay filled with Your joy which is strength so I can serve You with my whole heart in everything that I do in Jesus’ name. Amen."

LOVE “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/23/19 (Across my desk this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“…I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”
(Jeremiah 31:3, NKJV)

God’s Unending Love
God tells you in His Word that He has always loved you and will always love you—a love that is truly eternal and unending. Nothing can ever separate you from His love, and there is nothing you can do to make Him love you more and nothing you can do to make Him love you any less. His love is truly amazing! Human love can be powerful and faithful, but it still falls short of the perfect love God has for you. It has been said that you can’t out-give God, and that’s true of love as well! First Corinthians 13 is a wonderful chapter because it gives a glimpse into God’s love, which never fails. All the loves on the earth either fall away or fail from time to time, but not God’s perfect love. That is a wonderful thing to know and something to model your own love and life after.

A Prayer for Today
“God, thank You for loving me with an unending love through Jesus Christ. Give me the same heart to truly love others as You love them. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

My Comments:
We all want GOD’S LOVE & APPROVAL but the CONCEPT OF OBEDIENCE to have it, IS A PROBLEM.. Most tend to agree with those who crucified Jesus, “We will not have this man to rule over us.” But in HIS LOVE HE has given us a life time to come to a final decision. So as long as you are alive you can still decide. 1 Cor. 2:11-15 (The verses that the Holy Spirit gave me to decide on 4/28/55)

One time I ask the Lord for HIS definition of LOVE. In my heart came the words, “Love is the highest good for the other person, regardless of personal costs.” That gave me a lot to consider. After all, who can know the highest good… Oh! yes, I remember, The Holy Spirit. So if I really want to help some one I need to ask the Holy Spirit what to do. On my own I have sometimes been indulgent and permissive and in pride I have even made the situation worse. What if a soul is under their own sowing and reaping process of the judgment of God to bring them to repentance? And I get between them and the judgment as God’s little helper. Guess what, If God has to go through me to get to them I can go down with the ship, if need be, as well. Job a good example of that.

And if you read the Book Jude and of Revelation there is an eternal hell of darkness for those who choose the darkness, Jude 13, Rev.22:11 & 15. In fact Jesus taught often about HIS concerns for those headed towards hell in much of HIS ministry. So as much as Our Heavenly Father would like us to respond to HIS love with love, humility and obedience, in the Great Tribulation we will get to see the WRATH of the other side of who HE is. And as you read through the Bible you will see both sides of HIS nature clearly revealed. So though “GOD IS LOVE” that is not all that HE is. God’s nature is Love, Holiness and Power. Christ Jesus as the WORD of GOD gave us a profound illustration of that TRUTH with teaching us about both blessing and cursing and also by HIS example. So we see, by scriptures that the LOVE and WRATH of GOD are in balance. Want HIS love, come into a place of humility, love and obedience to Christ Jesus as LORD. Otherwise your future is rather bleak if you consider the Bible as a source of GOD’s TRUTH.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Romans 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

1 Thessalonians5:9
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Joy

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of the LORD, John 3:16, 12:24-26, 17:20-26 and Eph.4:11-16

JOY ! “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/22/19 (Across my desk this morning with lots of other stuff.)

Today’s Scripture
“Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it…”
(Genesis 1:28, NLT)

Too Busy For Joy
Are you missing out on the joys of life because you are too busy? God called you to be fruitful; He never called you to be busy. Don’t get activity mixed up with productivity. Just because you are on the go and always doing things doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re fulfilling God’s best plan for your life. All work and no play is not healthy. Ask the Lord to show you which areas need to be cut back and which areas need more focus. Ask Him to show you which relationships to let go of and which relationships to develop in your life. Stop allowing the unproductive areas of your life to consume all of your time, focus, and energy. As you make adjustments to bring balance to your schedule, you will have room for the activities and relationships that bring you joy and peace.

A Prayer for Today
“God, order my steps today. Help me to prioritize and to focus on those things that honor You and fulfill Your plan for my life. There may be relationships, commitments, and activities that I have to let go of; give me the courage to do so. I want to slow down, restore balance, and experience more joy in my life!”

My Comments:
First off, what comes to mind is “JOY” is different strokes for different folks. For the younger it is one thing, in middle age another and at my age it is having time with my grand kits and great grand kids and perhaps borrowing some one’s dog for a few moments of chase the ball which is temporal joy. But for me at 86, GOD’S JOY it is in seeing some soul find the light of GOD for their life FOR ETERNITY.

The Word of God gives me Joy, I love the verse in 1 Tim. 1:6-8:
“6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

That promise of God gives me a great amount of Joy and Peace. But it is amazing how many addictions there are in this world that totally lie about giving us really deep down JOY… The Good Book teaches that His Joy is strength, Neh. 8:10. Paul teaches it is a fruit of the Spirit, Gal. 5:22. Jesus taught that Joy was heavenly when a sinner repents, Luke 15:10. and that the WORD of God would fill us with JOY, John 15:11. In fact HE also taught that in faith our prayers being answered would give us JOY. John 17:13. The disciples were filled with JOY with the Holy Spirit, Acts 13:52 And Paul taught that righteousness, peace and Joy came through the Holy Spirit. And so on with Bible Gateway under JOY…. Take a look at joy in the whole Bible.

The difficult part is to let go of the worldly crutches in faith, the worldly things that we have learned to depend upon, the expensive lying addictions. So if you are not free in an area of your life, it cancels out God’s JOY. There may be some laughs but the bill still comes in the morning. There is a long list of stuff that we think are our friends but rob us of GOD’s JOY… FEAR would be a good start. Make your own list and ask HIS help to be free. The Word of God states that we are complete in HIM, Col. 2:10. And Jesus said that HIS TRUTH would set us free, John 8:21.

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<><

FLESH “WORTH CONSIDERING 2/21/19 (Across my desk this morning from Joel.)

Today’s Scripture
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, NIV)

God Loves A Giver!
One of the greatest challenges facing our society today is the tendency to live selfish lives. Society teaches us to look out for number one. But did you know that God created us to be givers of His selfless and compassionate love? John 3:16 tells us that God showed His love to us by giving His Son, and we also show our love to others by our giving. You can experience a new level of God’s joy, blessing and favor in your life when you step out and develop a lifestyle of giving. Be a giver rather than a taker. You won’t have to look far before you find someone you can help. First Thessalonians 5:15 says, “See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and seek to do good to everybody.” Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to meet the needs of those around you. When you do, you will experience the supernatural joy of giving.

A Prayer for Today
“God, You gave me the ultimate example of self-sacrificial giving. There are so many opportunities to show Your love to others. Every day, I will seek out ways to show kindness and compassion.”

My Comments:
But dog gone it, why can’t I be a Jacob and get away with it? I am totally selfish, I was born that way (me, my, mine and I want what I want when I want it.) And so St. Paul has the same issues and writes about them in Romans 7.10 ” And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. King James Version (KJV)

(FLESH HAS TO DIE ASAP. CAN NOT TAKE IT WITH YOU, ANYWAY !!!)

Early on in my Christian exploration of Sanctification (Process to make us like God. Gen. 1:26 HIS vision has not changed.) A young man by the name of Bob Newkirk imprinted my life with this vision that he had. In the vision there were two long tables completely full of top drawer food to eat. The folks at both tables had exactly the same access but at one table they had a big mess and every one was starving to death. At the other table all was pristine, folks were happy, full and content. It was a party. Every one had their left arm tied to the chair and a 3 foot spoon tied to the other hand. At one table all were trying to feed themselves and at the other they were feeding each other in love.

We are living in a very temporary body in a dying world where soon even the dimension of time will cease to exist with the creation of a new heaven and earth. We are born into a time of testing as to whether we will love and feed others and learn to submit and give as Christ Jesus gave HIS example with nothing in reserve for self. Or will we have money in our pockets or oil in our lamps? Are we in charge or is the Holy Spirit in charge?

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Change

CHANGE:   “WORTH CONSIDERING”   2/20/19.    Change is coming,  I too have sensed the train is coming to shake the world and to deliver the children of light.  Seems we are headed into the last great harvest of souls before the door is shut.  This prophesy by Bill Yount is long but worth considering,  Are you ready?    Love in Christ Jesus,   Ken<><

THERE IS BUT ONE CHURCH OF CHRIST JESUS AND ALL WHO LOVE AND OBEY HIM ARE MEMBERS.

Prophetic Word: ‘I Am Bringing a Shaking Like an Unstoppable Train’

(Photo by Ankush Minda on Unsplash)

I woke up shaken. I could not believe I was at home. How did I get back here? I had just been transported as though physically from a place far away. I had heard about people being transported in the Spirit as with Philip in Acts 8:39-40, but I would laugh it off. My laughter has been silenced by what I experienced. It was the real thing.

I stood in the valley of a highway. Suddenly, what appeared to be a huge locomotive train barreled down the highway straight toward me. The wheels shaved the concrete, and its power shook the earth in proclamation” “I don’t need tracks!” I was paralyzed by the terror of it as highways and overpasses crumbled in its wake. Mountains were shaken and surrendered their strength and majesty. All the earth was vulnerable to this all-inclusive power. I was astounded. My whole world was shaking, and yet I was still standing.

I was then transported inside a house on a high hill where a fire had suddenly broken out. I quickly turned off the thermostat and gas controls. The fire seemed to be contained, but I was mistaken. In the distance, which I believe to be the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the tops of tall buildings crumbled and contagious fires raged relentlessly throughout the streets. Then multitudes of cities throughout the earth followed suit. I was then awakened by the terror.

After several weeks of earnest prayer, the Holy Spirit helped me to understand this experience of being transported and provided the interpretation.

‘Son, I Am the Trackless, Unstoppable Locomotive’

The Lord was saying, “Son, I have allowed you to experience this vision in person so you would know the full impact and certainty of it. I am the trackless, unstoppable locomotive. I am coming in a way that many of My people will not recognize as Me. Some will be offended.”

“The terror you experienced as I came near was the fear of the Lord being released in the earth. The fear of the Lord brings a great shaking. Some people will turn from Me, but many more will become deeply committed. This shaking alone will bring in an unprecedented harvest of souls. The crumbling highways and overpasses were man-made structures built in order to reach Me. With great force I will shake those man-made spiritual structures and religious spirits that have prevented Me from coming to them.”

He said, “You have been faithful in disliking religious spirits, but you have fallen short in loving religious people. I love them. I want to deliver them. Not loving them invites a religious spirit into your life.”

I saw the fire of God falling on every denomination wherever there was a smell of smoke from a flickering flame of love gone out long ago. People in all denominations will be visited by a rekindling, as well as so-called Spirit-filled churches.

“A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not quench, until He renders judgment unto victory” ( Matt. 12:20 ).

‘My Fire Is Beginning to Invade These Mountains and Bring Them Into My Kingdom’

God continued saying, “The mountains you saw caving in represent the seven mountains of the kingdoms of this world. The church, family, education, government, media, arts and entertainment, and business and finances.”

“My fire is beginning to invade these mountains to redeem and bring them into My kingdom. The reason you couldn’t stop the fire in the house is because the fire is of Me. I am coming this hour through the fires of adversity and affliction to bring whole families back together again into My kingdom. Their troubles have come to bless them.”

“The pride of man in what he has made are the fallen, far-off city structures. Pride is crumbling. The contagious fires of God raging in the streets of cities are the certainty of the vision in its influence.”

Sidewalks and gutters in the streets were now burning with unquenchable fire falling upon the homeless and red-light districts. Graveclothes were being burned off those bound in prisons and spiritual cemeteries.

There’s a whole lot riding on this train.

Prayer

Aloha Family and Friends, Beloved of God, John 3:16, 12:24-26, 17:20-26

PRAYER “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/20/19 Across my desk this morning.

Today’s Scripture
“In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” (Psalm 5:3, NIV)

Expect God’s Best
Our God is a God of “suddenlies!” Suddenly, He breaks an addiction. Suddenly, your health improves. Suddenly, you are given that promotion. When you keep your heart open, expectant and filled with faith, God goes to work. In the same way Jesus turned the five loaves of bread and two fish into lunch for 5,000 men (Matthew 14:17), God will take your faith in Him and turn it into the provision you need! The enemy’s goal is to get you discouraged so you will give up and settle where you are. Don’t be deceived! No matter how many disappointments you’ve encountered, God can turn things around for you in a split second of time! One touch of His favor can suddenly restore relationships! One touch of His goodness can solve that problem you’re facing today! Just one touch from Almighty God can instantly change your life!

A Prayer for Today
“God, each day I come before You with my joys, my concerns, my praises, and my requests. I will wait patiently and expectantly for Your answer. In Jesus’ name – Amen.”

My Comments:
For me the word prayer is not to say a subscribed set of words or to be in a position. For me it is simple stopping my brain action and talking to the Holy Spirit as though HE were in the other chair or riding next to me in my truck. It is taking time in humility to listen as a child. It is a time of being an emotional nudist as there is nothing about me that He does not already know. It is a time of profound honesty. Sometimes I start of rather familiar, “Aloha Dad, How am I doing? What do I do about this or that? Ask Him to bring my family into HIS Kingdom like the Philippian Jailer where Peter said, “Believe on the Lord and thou shalt be saved and thy house,” Acts 16:31. And listen for correction and what HE wants me to do.

Actually the LORD’s “Our Father” Prayer ( Matt. 6:9 ) was a way (a manner) to pray, a list of subjects to consider and not a mantra to be said mindlessly. The only true prayer that we have of our Lord Jesus is in John 17, now that is a prayer. And Jesus even prayed in faith for us today in 17:20-26 and ask the Father for some really good stuff for us, HIS CHURCH (verse 22, trade glory for power ) when HIS CHURCH finally finds Unity in Love. Carefully study the wording of verse 22…..

So for me prayer is simple making time and space for a 2 way conversation between me and the Holy Spirit. And the more that I get into it the more I get to know HIS voice and can tell the rest of the voices to take a hike including my own. “And I am still working on getting it right.” But it has to be learned so as to be like breathing and that can happen at any time, regardless of what I may be doing. So learning to be a peace in my spirit without baggage is a learning process so I can pray effectively all the time and any time like the Good Book says, 1 Thess.5:16-18

Yours, in HIS great love and wonderful grace and mercy, Ken<><

VICTORY: “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/19/19 ((Across my desk this morning.)

Today’s Scripture
“But thanks be to God,who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.” (2 Corinthians 2:14, NIV)

Follow God to Victory
Have you ever noticed that you often face your greatest attacks when you’re about to give birth to the dreams God placed in your heart? The enemy waits until you’re close to the promotion, close to the breakthrough. He’ll strike when you’re just about to step up to a new level. Don’t be surprised if you face opposition or go through a disappointment. Perhaps a friend whom you were counting on is not there. Or, it’s taking longer than you expected. That simply means you’re about to give birth to what God has placed in your heart. The good news is, the forces that are for you are greater than the forces that are against you. Your destiny cannot be stopped by a bad break, by disappointments, by opposition or by other people. God always causes you to triumph. He says, “No weapon formed against you will ever prosper.”

A Prayer for Today
“God, even when I am under fire from the enemy I will rise up and claim victory over sin and defeat with You by my side. Thank you for leading me toward a life of joy and abundance. I will faithfully follow Your direction. ”

My Comments:
I can sure say AMEN to that one. My Inn was sold about a year ago and the funds were made available for a new place to live. There were many options but felt strongly guided to secure a property next door to my daughter in Kealia about 17 miles south of Kailua Kona where we had been living. The price was right, considering that it needed a total remodel and cleanup for the 24′ x 40′ dingbat single wall constructed home of 1973 and a 1/2 acre+ full of rocks. We are now a year later and the house has been totally remodeled, the carport rebuilt and my study added. We now have a common area with a 2nd kitchen and bath which will accommodate about 25 for a meal. And we are building a barn/ohana for having a place for guests to visit. But the last year has been the most difficult of my life, and especially at my age. A total battle field of building obstruction and gout and other foot issues so in pain much of the time. But praise the LORD, the Light is beginning to shine, the healing has started in the LORD and the Vision is coming alive as I cling in faith to Romans 8:26-37

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

And it would appear that the LORD has used this year to deal soundly with some flesh still alive in my life. So many times I have been tempted to just quit and run. So it seems that more has been done in me spiritually than in what I have been trying to do physically. I know that I am now much more in touch with the Holy Spirit than ever before. Much more ready to meet the LORD in the clouds when HE comes for HIS CHURCH. And much more able to minister HIS WORD in love and truth than ever before. So naked came I into this world and naked goeth I forth, Praise be the Name of the LORD. Ecc. 5:15, Job 1:21… You know, Job was tested due to his fear: Job 3:25 but that is another story…. Fear is faith going backwards, Be Blessed in your day, Ken<><

Listening for God

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Beloved of God, John 3:16, 12:24-26, 17:20-26

LISTENING for God, “WORTH CONSIDERING” 2/18/19 ( Across my desk today)

Today’s Scripture
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27, NIV)

When Routine Becomes A Rut
Do you have a daily routine? The truth is, much of life is routine, and we can become stagnant if we’re not careful. We need to take the time to stop and listen to God’s voice. Maybe He’s telling you it’s time to get some better relationships. Perhaps He has a different career path or job opportunity for you. Maybe the Lord is just encouraging you to develop a positive attitude or healthier habits. Is God asking you to step out of your comfort zone? You can’t stay in the safe zone all of your life and expect to fulfill your highest potential. Be bold and willing to do something out of your usual routine that honors God in a greater way. When you take the initiative and move from your “safe zone” to your “faith zone,” that is when God will move on your behalf and begin to do greater things in your life. In Jesus’ name – Amen.

A Prayer for Today
“God, it’s time for me to be still and listen. As I spend time in prayer and in the Word, speak to me, O Lord. Tell me what I need to hear and give me the courage to make the desires and dreams of my heart come to pass. ”

My Comments:
Of all of the teaching in the whole Bible this is probable one of the most important. To be able to hear GOD, The Holy Spirit, speak to you in your heart (subconscious, ed) is profoundly important. Hearing God speak to me has saved my life 3 times that I am aware of and totally changed the direction of my life at least twice. There are thousands of verses in the Bible concerning learning to hear the Voice of God. In writing to you often His presence is so real that it is like HE is here in my Study writing through my hands thoughts that are way beyond my training and abilities. I could fill up many pages full of scripture on this subject but rather than giving you a fish, allow me to teach you how to fish this time.

On Google there is an easy place to put a connection (Add shortcut) (+) Call it bible and put there:
https://www.biblegateway.com/keyword/
Then go to Bible Gateway Keyword Search and for Bible put in English
Enter Word: (hearing) (hear) (sound) or any other word or words of interest.
For Select Version add King James Version (About 30 other versions to choose from but a good place to start)
Under Options add under Display [25]
check Limit search and open box at the down arrow to New Testament or your study area in the whole Bible.
Then at the bottom of the file click Search

It is not as thorough as a Strong’s Concordance but it is so very fast and easy and blows away the cobwebs so fast.

Also note that at the bottom of your 25 search there may also be an addition page of scripture to click to.
To reset hit the back button top left and you will be able to start over.

Have fun with this stuff and Grow in Christ Jesus and learn to hear HIS voice as HIS voice never changes.
Yours, in HIS great love, Ken<>< (My apology if you already know how to fish.)
