WIND-WALKER ?

WIND-WALKER       “WORTH CONSIDERING”        8/15/22

“WindWalker” as one who walks with the Holy Spirit as the “Wind of God”  Pneuma…   Be nice to lean how to walk in the wind of the Spirit all the time as the “Breath of God” to bring life to the dead souls of those still entangled in the pride and rebellion of Adam’s sins.  Like on Pentecost,  Acts 2:2  and when the Apostles were born from above:   John 3 &  John 20:22.   In our New Testament the word used for the Holy Spirit is Pneuma.    The Greek word pneuma means?  Pneuma (πνε μα) is an ancient Greek word for “breath”, and in a religious context for “spirit” .

1.1 Translating (to) pneuma (hagion) into English In the Greek New Testament I identified 254 instances where pneuma refers clearly to what is normally translated “the Holy Spirit” or more simply “Spirit.” Of these occurrences of pneuma, 138 are articular, and 116 are anarthrous.

Seems to me that our Creator is still looking to find 100% sold out Christians who are filled with the Holy Spirit who have the same vision as to make the Vision of Jesus,  for HIS Church,  to come alive.   Much too big for an individual to do alone so Jesus prays for our unity in John 17:20-26.    And I am praying for others to join me in this vision here as well  but it is difficult, finding souls who are willing to dump all of the vain traditions that Jesus shared about that the world  calls  church.  So let us spend a bit of time in sharing on what the True Church really looks like.

So on Pentecost Sunday when the Church was born in Acts 2 we find it was noisy and full of fire and supernatural and 3000 souls came to Jesus as LORD.   And we see that when they really made Jesus LORD they did this:   (Acts 2 )    So then, those who accepted his message were baptized; and on that day about [a] 3,000 souls were added [to the body of believers]. 42 They were continually and faithfully devoting themselves to the instruction of the apostles, and to fellowship, to [b] eating meals together and to prayers. 43 A sense of awe was felt by [c] everyone, and many wonders and signs (attesting miracles) were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all those who had believed [in Jesus as Savior] [d] were together and had all things in common [considering their possessions to belong to the group as a whole]. 45 And they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing the proceeds with all [the other believers], as anyone had need. 46 Day after day they met in the temple [area] continuing with one mind, and breaking bread in various private homes. They were eating their meals together with joy and generous hearts, 47 praising God continually, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were being saved.

So some felt to join a community and some still had their private homes, it was up to the person as between them and the Holy Spirit as to what they did.   But the overall picture was that all who came were cared for as per their needs.   So this was the experience of the Church of Christ Jesus being born in about 33 AD.   So lets jump ahead to about 55 AD and find what the Church is doing: (1 Cor.14:26-33:    “What then is the right course, believers? When you meet together, each one has a psalm, a teaching, a revelation (disclosure of special knowledge), a tongue, or an interpretation. Let everything be constructive and edifying and done for the good of all the church. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be limited to two or at the most three, and each one speaking in turn, and one must interpret [what is said]. 28 But if there is no one to interpret, the one [who wishes to speak in a tongue] must keep silent in church; let him speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak [as inspired by the Holy Spirit], while the rest pay attention and weigh carefully what is said. 30 But if an inspired  revelation is made to another who is seated, then the first one must be silent. 31 For [in this way] you can all prophesy one by one, so that everyone may be instructed and everyone may be encouraged; 32 for the spirits of prophets are subject to the prophets [the prophecy is under the speaker’s control, and he can stop speaking]; 33 for God [who is the source of their prophesying] is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order.

So it would appear that a normal church service was all about the interaction of the people in a local home or “HouseChurch” It appears that the Early Church evangelized on Saturday mornings at the local synagogue or Temple,   Had special gatherings for an evangelist, prophet, Apostle or Teacher and on Saturday and other evenings got together for a HouseChurch gathering for Testimonies, Teachings, Fellowship & Food, The Lord’s Supper, Prayer, Body life ministry and the leadership would minister to any remaining needs.   Gift and Offerings were collected for evangelism and to help the poor.  Deacons were even appointed to make sure that all of the poor were cared for equally.  Acts 6,  and so that the Elders, Overseers, Bishops, Eph. 4:11 would have more time to share the Word of God and be without responsibility.  Paul covered the qualification of a Deacon in 1 Tim.3:7-13.

So what are the vain traditions that now exist in our so called, mostly powerless church of today?
Fist of all Paul gave us a prophesy of the Church of today as did Jesus.   Paul in 2 Tim 3 and especially verse 5 and our LORD Jesus in Rev. 3:14-22, not a good picture of our church today.  especially in The Revelation where Jesus is outside, knocking to get inside of HIS own church.

1.    The Church as the Bride of Christ must be totally devoted to only lifting up Jesus as Lord.
2.    Church is a work of the people for becoming like Jesus, not a theater to be entertained.
3.    Giving comes from the heart, God is looking for 100%, not just 10% as under the Law.
4.    There is not one suggestion in the New Testament for the building of a building called a church.   Not that we can not use what exists effectively but stop using the funds ,  of evangelism and helping to poor,  to be comfortable for a few hours per week or as a status symbol of success in a community.  The Church is to become the “Rod of Iron” of Jesus.
5.    The John 17 “UNITY” factor that Jesus prayed for must become a fact.   In a given community there is only ONE Church of Christ Jesus.  If there are differences in doctrine let the Elders come together and find God’s Truth for all in LOVE.   The concept, “To Agree to Dis Agree” is demonic and false.  United we stand or divided we fall.”  God is never the author of confusion.  And HIS Word can not be broken.  Unity is a must.
6.    There is no way to experience a New Testament Church if the seating is for a theater.  All must be able to see all of the faces of all of the  people in a House Church gathering.
7.    If a so-called church does not match up to what the Holy Spirit brought together in Acts and the New Testament it is running on vain or prideful traditions and needs to repent.

Yours in HIS great love and wonderful grace & mercy,   Ken<><   www.OhanaChurch.Life

There is but ONE Church of Christ Jesus as LORD,
All who Love, Honor & Obey HIM as LORD are eternal members.
