In Genesis 6:5 we find that God is totally displeased concerning the vain Imagination.   “The Lord saw that the wickedness (depravity) of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart were only evil continually.”  And in Gen. 11:6 as noted by Moses, “And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one [unified] people, and they all have the same language. This is only the beginning of what they will do [in rebellion against Me], and now no evil thing they imagine they can do will be impossible for them.”

So today we see Thousands dead, many thousands injured and the possibility of a 3rd world war due to the vain imaginations of one man who imagines to restore the old USSR and to be it’s king.

Actually this is what caused lucifer (satan) to defect from being a wonderful archangel to becoming an enemy of our Creator.  Ezek. 28:5-7    “By your great wisdom and by your trade You have increased your riches and power,  And your heart is proud and arrogant because of your wealth;  Therefore thus says the Lord God,  ‘Because you have imagined your mind [to be] Like the mind of God [having thoughts and plans like God Himself],  Therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon you,  The most ruthless and violent of the nations. And they will draw their swords Against the beauty of your wisdom And defile your splendor.  (should read the whole chapter.)

So imaginations can be either GOOD or BAD.   As for Jesus, Heb.12:1-3.  “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of [a] witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us,  [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [imaginations of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, [b] disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].   Just consider and meditate on Him who endured from sinners such bitter hostility against Himself [consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Or we may end up in Rom. 1:20-24.   “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves…..”   2 Cor. 10:5.  “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

So Take Care with Your Liberty 1 Cor. 8:1-3.  “Now about food sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge [concerning this]. But knowledge [alone] makes [people self-righteously] arrogant, but love [that unselfishly seeks the best for others] builds up and encourages others to grow [in wisdom].  If anyone imagines that he knows and understands anything [of divine matters, without love], he does not yet known as he ought to know.  But if anyone loves God [with awe-filled reverence, obedience and gratitude], he is known by Him [as His very own and is greatly loved].

For many years I have been considering the unity factor as first mentioned in Gen.11:6 and how disunity can prevent the power of the Holy Spirit from having the freedom to confirm the Word of God in Power like when Jesus returned to Nazareth. Matt.13:57-58.   Our Creator God will only allow His  PURE Truth to be confirmed by HIS power,  2 Tim.3:5.   So unless our unity factor includes God’s absolute TRUTH as well as unity,  it will be only an organization but never have the confirmation of God’s Power.  Yet, the church of today is so full of vain (prideful) doctrines and traditions but very difficult to find a church that matches the Book of Acts.  And the church of today seems to have adjusted to being mostly words & doctrine but with little or no power.   And so there is very little faith now in most Christians to do what Jesus did and greater things as Jesus taught us that we should do.  John 14:12,   Mark 16:16-20,  1 John 4:17.  So seems our efforts may be in vain unless we carefully exclude the vain traditions of today’s church in our efforts.   

My vision or imagination here is to find and submit to God’s absolute Truth and to  find souls who are interested in writing another chapter in the Book of Acts,   Acts 29 if you will.   A committed people  that have the imagination and faith to come together in pure truth and unity to allow the Holy Spirit to establish them in the building of that powerful Church that Jesus came to build and sent the Holy Spirit to complete.   A Church without walls and without spot, wrinkle or blemish that has made herself ready to be joined for eternity to her King and Master.  A Church of God’s people who honor only the pure Truth of God’s Word as found in the context of the Holy Scriptures.  And being super aware of the limited understanding and simplicity of the language of those scriptures in sharing the Glory of God.   1 Cor. 2:8-10.   “ None of the rulers of this age recognized and understood this wisdom; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;  but just as it is written [in Scripture],  “Things which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man,   All that God has prepared for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed].”  10 For God has unveiled them and revealed them to us through the [Holy] Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things [diligently], even [sounding and measuring] the [profound] depths of God [the divine counsels and things far beyond human understanding].

Just as there were many believers who “came out“ of denominational churches in the 70’s and 80’s to form non-denominational churches, there is a “coming into” ecclesia that is beginning to take place.  Read Isaiah 2:1-5 with prophetic eyes and you’ll see what I mean.  The Israelites “came out” of Egypt, but not everyone “came into” the Promised land.  Most of them died in the wilderness.  Only those who properly aligned with God-endorsed authority, and who walked in faith and obedience to the law of God and who related appropriately with the people of God, entered into the promised land.    In the NT, we’re told to “come out” from among them and be separate.  But we’re also told to “go into all the world.”  What lies in between is Ecclesia.  (You might want to read that again)  Paul “was with them (the ecclesia) at Jerusalem, COMING IN and GOING OUT.”     We’re a “called out” people as God’s true church (Kingdom citizens), but we’re also a “sent” people on assignment (Kingdom ambassadors) to reach the world around us with the love of Jesus.  Problem is, our “churchianity” often masquerades as ecclesia when it’s sometimes a poor representation of what God intends for us. Thank God for divinity in the midst of our humanity, but there is so much more to ecclesia than what we’ve experienced thus far.  As Ecclesia, we gather to be equipped and we scatter to extend Kingdom influence all around us.  We’re transformed as we connect & relate with spiritual family, and we release transformational power in our spheres of influence.  But our Sending authority is only as great as our Gathering capacity.  If we don’t properly assemble and function as ecclesia in cities, regions and nations of the world, we won’t carry the authority to turn the world upside down.   The Ecclesia I’m talking about transcends denominational borders, ministry networks, doctrinal creeds and ministry philosophies.  It’s composed of every ethnicity, gender, age, spiritual gift, and church culture.  There is a networking of networks, a connecting of leaders from different camps, a cross-pollination of spiritual substance in the body of Christ.  There are revelational upgrades from Aquila’s and Priscilla’s awaiting Apollos’.  There are ministry assignments awaiting Paul’s and Barnabas’.  There are Kingdom connections awaiting Peter’s, James’ & John’s with Paul’s and Barnabas’.    The Spirit beckons us to come into proper alignment.  Some will respond, others will choose not to because it’s easier not to try.  And some won’t even hear because their ears are only tuned to what is familiar to them.  Do you hear the Spirit’s cry?      We’re told to “endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit” but how can we keep what we don’t have?  For that reason, the Spirit is stirring hearts to make peace where there is no peace, to build bridges where there is separation, to unite where division has been normalized.  The Kingdom requires it.  The Body of Christ needs it.  The Father longs for it.  Simply put, the World will believe in Jesus as we become One, just like Jesus prayed for us in John 17.   BTW, there’s a difference between the pieces of a puzzle all being in the same box and the pieces actually being connected to form the intended picture.  “To him who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the ecclesia.”

Ken’s Comments:
At first in looking at the above writing, I almost passed it up as just too many words and no pictures.  But then felt a nudge of the Holy Spirit to read it.   And to my surprise I found a kindred spirit with one who was seeing the same things I have been seeing.  “ It is not by our power nor our might that kingdom work is accomplished but by the Holy Spirit that the Church of Christ Jesus is being built. And it seems to me to be being built in spite of our efforts to box it in and make it comfortable and safe for ourselves with our add on vain traditions.   Any more, If I can not find it being done in the New Testament with the context of the New Testament I am considering it a foreign vain tradition for giving GOD’s Glory to some man or some denominational institution.

In the New Testament we find CHURCH is of the people, no paid clergy.   Offering and gifts were collected only for evangelism and to help the poor.  Not one word about building anything.   And the home gatherings were taught in 1 Cor. 14:26-33 to be a forum and interactive and not a theater (with all looking at the back of heads and to a stage as in entertainment.)  Believers came to share and to participate not to watch a show and then go to lunch.   In fact the gathering were on Sat. evenings and included a meal and had no time limit.  And God’s Truth was top drawer and the Holy Spirit was always confirming with setting folks free and healing and delivering all who came, Acts 5:16.   Personally I have seen this happen just one time in my Christian experience of 68 years.  And it was at a gathering that was totally called together by the Holy Spirit and totally unexpected with nothing prepared.

It is very difficult for most of us to wash out the vain (vanity filled prideful) traditions that we have had sown into our lives.   We keep doing them over and over and over thinking that some how God is going to honor them but HE never does.   It is really a definition of insanity.  We have been taught to go to a building called a “Church” when it is really the people who are the Church.   Then we are taught to knell to pray, stand to sing, sit to listen and to pay our 10% and go home believing that we touched GOD and had HIM touch us.  But this is nothing at all like an Acts Church as witnessed by Luke in writing about it.  For sure it is orderly and much safer than the Church of Acts.  But if we really want to touch God and be touched by HIM we are going to need to change back to the original design for the Church as guided by the Holy Spirit.  And HE care little about our comfort zone nor us feeling secure.

When we gather together for Church it should be that the Holy Spirit has us bring with us the fruit, gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit to share with each other.  When we come together it is nice to great one another but basically we come together to have time with our LORD through the Holy Spirit and lift Jesus up.  Eph.4:11-16.  Jesus told us that if even 2 or 3 gathered in HIS name He would be there. Matt. 18:20.   Church is not numbers but relationship.   “ For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers], I am there among them.”   So are we following Christ Jesus as our LORD.  Or are we following the vain traditions of religious men which doesn’t work ?  Every time in the Gospels where Jesus showed up there was His supernatural ministry of HIS love confirmed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus told us that we could do what HE did.  Jn.14:12.  So seems we have a bit of house cleaning and learning to do before getting to go home with Jesus.

LONNIE FRISBEE:  Lonnie Ray Frisbee (June 6, 1949 – March 12, 1993) was an American Charismatic evangelist and self-described “seeing prophet” in the late 1960s and 1970s.

CONNIE FRISBEE:  As Lonnie Frisbee’s  wife, she is perhaps the greatest authority about Lonnie’s life and his central role as the ‘hippie preacher’ of the Jesus movement 1968+. An actress portraying Connie appears in “Jesus Revolution,” but inexplicably, the film makers failed to contact Connie or consult her about the movie.    They thought she was dead, or so they explained to her in an apologetic Zoom call.     Connie learned about the film after her stepdaughter, Brandy, watched it in a theater in Tulsa, Oklahoma and told a friend sitting next to her: “I think that’s my mom!” Brandy didn’t believe the portrayals in the film matched the stories told by her mother. She called Connie immediately with the shocking news.

Connie:  “I have to say it broke me,” she told God Reports. “For two days, I couldn’t stop crying. I couldn’t believe that as a Christian, you couldn’t reach out to me, you couldn’t reach out and find out. You couldn’t let me know that you were going to put a facsimile of me in a movie.”

Note to Connie from Ken on 3/6/23,   “Looks like the the Jesus Revolution film,  in spite of it’s many short comings and lack of actual teachings by Lonnie is still being used by the Holy Spirit,  P.T.L.  I took my family to view it and it really lifted their faith as well.   And I know there was so much missing.    I listened to Lonnie’s brother and felt he was right-on with his thoughts as being with Lonnie in his graduation (death) at age 43.   But I left LightHouse Ranch for a call of the LORD to Hawaii on 2/10/71 and most of the time (68-70) I had with Lonnie was prior to that except for the FGBMFI Conference in Kona in 76 or so.   But Lonnie and I were so busy with the Conference so we did not get any prime time together.  But I could tell by his ministry that he was stressed and tense about something as it seemed a little forced and abrupt and Lonnie even seemed a bit angry?   I did try to talk to him about it but he was not in the mood for for talking at that time and then he quickly returned to Costa Mesa, CA.

Spiritually our soul lives in a physical house of many many rooms that may have still have a squatter living in a room that the Holy Spirit still needs to clean out and fill.  And this is Typical of us all.   But Lonnie was a bit busy in ministry to check it out when I talked to him about it.   And Chuck did not believe this was possible for a Christian still needing deliverance.  Chuck was into building a “Word” church while Lonnie was into creating a powerful Acts 5:16 “Acts Church in the Holy Spirit.”   Lonnie was on the front lines in evangelism with the gifts of the Spirit in operation.   But he needed the Apostles, Prophets Pastors & Teachers to help with the harvest   But, if there, they were still in grade school as the Traditional church was only making room for Pastors due to their vain traditions.  So the Elders helping and assisting Lonnie were still in bondage to their own vain traditions which made the Word of God,  ineffective.    And they had little or no power like in Acts 5:16 to help.    I do miss Lonnie and learned a lot concerning active faith from him and more by watching him than listening.  According to his brother, Lonnie made peace with Lord prior to his graduation in 93,  so I am good with that.   But I can easily see why Lonnie lost faith when the folks that were blessed by his ministry started to turn from him and go back to  rebuilding the (vain) Traditional Church again.   I gave a prophesy at the meeting where Calvary to not go build any buildings.    Evangelism and helping the poor is more important than owning a comfortable building that needs care and elevates a Pastor/Minister rather than Jesus.

Ken’s note to Connie,   3/7/23 after I reviewed the film and found from a friend where Connie was living.  “As I was seeking what I thought I saw at first in Lonnie in the film,  I did not find it.   There was a Prophetic correction in those wonderful times with the Holy Spirit pouring out through Lonnie, that I now see was God’s Eternal Truth.  But me being young in the Charismatic Movement caused me to be rather shy.  I had just been baptized in the Holy Spirit in Eugene in 1968.    Of course, the enemy is going to try to bury the Truth and the Light with lies and vain traditions.  But the Elect will seek, knock and ask for the light, anyway.   Regardless of the clay,  God used the unlikely clay of Lonnie in a very Biblical way as per Apostle Paul in 1 Cor. 1:23-31.  So any Glory should be the LORD’s and not man at all.   So if we get together and lift up the LORD and not a man nor a denominations or a building,  HE will use us to draw all men to HIM as per,  Eph. 4:11-16 &  John 17:20-26 in power.   And it all starts, like with Lonnie in John 12:24-26.

3/7/23.  “But what happened with Lonnie’s departure has nothing to do with us.   Lonnie is with Jesus,  I am sure,  and he is pulling for us here.  God has not given us the spirit of fear but of Love, Power and a Sound mind.   So let us go back into a Biblical faith and let’s learn to ride off into Acts 5:16 about all this stuff.   I have been working on finding the “Vain Traditions” of our  so called church that have made the “Word of God” ineffective and I have found a whole pile of stuff that the Religious, Theater, Church and even pagan that is contrary to the Commandments of our LORD.   We should be living in Acts 2, Mark 16:17-20 but mostly the churches I have attended have been living like social christians and powerless,  2 Tim. 3:5.   So for me, I am still working on being a part of what is like Jesus as Lonnie did.  “OhanaChurch.Life”  link to “Worth Considering.”  The Holy Spirit is into making us 100% like Jesus,  if we will allow HIM to do this work in us.

3/14/23,  So where are we living?    “John 3:7-8,  ” Do not be surprised that I have told you, ‘You must be born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].’ The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”      OR AS IN :    2 Tim 3:5, “holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them.”  seems to me that Lonnie got boxed by the social church and the Holy Spirit started drying up as he saw the Church moving back into a box.    Seems that was what caused the division between Lonnie and Chuck?  I talked with Chuck  he believed in, once saved, always saved.   And that Christians could not need demonic deliverance.  Personally I have not found this to be true in my ministry.  But if you turn up the light in the Holy Spirit all kinds of hidden junk in folks bubbles to surface in those who have made Jesus Lord and are in the process of becoming Sanctified by the Holy Spirit to become like Jesus.    Lonnie was never into church traditions and loved walking in the wind and power of the Holy Spirit,  the breath of God.   But Chuck and Elders were not comfortable without the traditions.  Now there may be about 1500 Calvary Chapels but what about the power factor.  Jesus told us that we would be able to do what HE did and even greater works.    Reminds me of the 5 foolish virgins in Matt.25,  Lamps without oil or light.  Money in the pockets to purchase oil,  but no oil,   living in holding pens for baby Christians who never are encouraged to grow up in HIM in all things,  Eph.4:11-16,  Mark 16:14-20….

Much of the world is dealing with the greatest disruption of their lives… probably in their lifetimes, particularly in the West, and what is known as the “First World”. Here’s a helpful perspective toward understanding what is taking place.  Imagine for a moment that your life is a farm… a plot of land set aside to produce a crop. The Farmer knows what He needs to do to prepare an abundant harvest. Your soil is fallow, hardened, full of weeds. The seeds are dry and must absorb water to initiate respiration and begin to digest their stored food, and respiration requires sufficient oxygen in soil that is moist and broken up. Your field must be turned over and plowed.   Plowing seems to do violence to soil in its fallow state. Yet nothing will grow or can even be planted in hard unplowed soil. The plow turns the soil upside down and inside out, looks like a disaster zone, as thousands of weeds and chunks of earth fly apart. Insects in the soil endure an apocalyptic experience, and some of them are killed by the metal blades and crashing mounds of earth. The farmer is simply doing his job, what he must do to prepare an abundant harvest.   Now that the Farmer is preparing His field, and the mounds of earth and weeds are flying everywhere, step back if you can and observe what is taking place. The world is His field, not ours. and His crop is righteousness and steadfast love in a fruitful crop of human souls. Fallow ground full of weeds will not do for a good harvest. Take the Farmer’s perspective, endure the plow, and you will rejoice with him in the harvest to follow.     <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com&gt;

Ken’s Notes,
It appears, through most news media, that we are headed into a great depression like 1929 and/or WW III.  Jesus made a comment in Matt. 24 concerning the questions of Matt.24:3, “While Jesus was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, and said, “Tell us, when will this [destruction of the temple] take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end (completion, consummation) of the age?” Jesus taught concerning the temple in Matt. 24:15-15-20 which has happened from 70 AD till 1948 AD.   And then Jesus taught about the end of the age, Matt.24:3-14 as an overview, and Matt.24:21-36 and on the Rapture (Church removed from earth.)  In Matt 24:37- Matt 25, Jesus taught about the Rapture as not a question.   So as a Rabbi would teach Jesus touched on the overview, shared about Titus in 70 AD, and then gave a more complete picture of the happenings to Armageddon and the end of the age of the Gentiles.

Seems like we may be in about what Jesus was sharing in Matt.24:21-26, “For [a]at that time there will be a great tribulation (pressure, distress, oppression), such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will [again]. And if those days [of tribulation] had not been cut short, no human life would be saved; but for the sake of the elect (God’s chosen ones) those days will be shortened. Then if anyone says to you [during the great tribulation], ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it.  For false Christs and false prophets will appear and they will provide great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones). Listen carefully, I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there, or, ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms [of a house],’ do not believe it.”

Then Jesus told us about the Church being taken home.  Matt. 24:37-42:,   “For the coming of the Son of Man (the Messiah) will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.   At that time two men will be in the field; one will be [a] taken and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.  42 “So be alert [give strict attention, be cautious and active in faith], for you do not know which day [whether near or far] your Lord is coming.  Matt. 25 also covers the need to be ready. as it would seem that we are very close to getting on the boat for the ride home.

Paul also writes about this in 1 Cor. 15:34-58, (51-53) “ Listen very carefully, I tell you a mystery [a secret truth decreed by God and previously hidden, but now revealed]; we will not all sleep [in death], but we will all be [completely] changed [wondrously transformed], in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at [the sound of] the last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [who believed in Christ] will be raised imperishable, and we will be [completely] changed [wondrously transformed]. 53 For this perishable [part of us] must put on the imperishable [nature], and this mortal [part of us that is capable of dying] must put on immortality [which is freedom from death].  And also in 1 Thess.5 1-23 (3-4), “While they are saying, “Peace and safety [all is well and secure!]” then [in a moment unforeseen] destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains on a woman with child, and they will absolutely not escape [for there will be no way to escape the judgment of the Lord]. 4 But you, [a] believers, [all you who believe in Christ as Savior and acknowledge Him as God’s Son] are not in spiritual darkness [nor held by its power], that the day [of judgment] would overtake you [by surprise] like a thief;” and also in 2 Thess.2:1-12, (2-7), “not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the [a] apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above [b] every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains him now [from being revealed]; it is so that he will be revealed at his own [appointed] time.   For the mystery of lawlessness [rebellion against divine authority and the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way.”
