FREEDOM

FREEDOM-2 “WORTH CONSIDERING” 7/25/25

Nice word “Freedom” BIG problem is that the enemy uses that word as bate to place us in bondage. Most of what the world offers as freedom actually binds us and steals our time in taking care of the very thing that we thought was going to set us free. The choice actually end up causing us much stress and loss of freedom. Yeshua, Jesus taught us: Luke 12:15 “And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); for a man’s life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs.”

Christ Has Set Us Free | Galatians 5:1, In [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off]. … 4 If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God’s gracious favor and unmerited blessing). 5 For we, [not relying on the Law but] through the [Holy] Spirit’s [help], by faith anticipate and wait for the blessing and good for which our righteousness and right standing with God [our [b] conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action, causes us] to hope.

Rom. 8:10 But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you]. And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you. So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh [we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh. For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God. And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.

The Ideal is to find God’s Love in Peace, Humility and Simplicity. To trust our Creator to meet all of our needs according to our riches and glory in Christ Jesus as our LORD. Like John taught us in 1 John 2:15-17: “15 Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself]. And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever. [a] Boys (lads), it is the last time (hour, the end of this age). And as you have heard that the antichrist [he who will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ] is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen, which confirms our belief that it is the final (the end) time. 19 They went out from our number, but they did not [really] belong to us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us. But [they withdrew] that it might be plain that they all are not of us.”

John in his time knew the steps to freedom and was looking for the return of Jesus in his day. Obviously, it did not happen as he expected, but he was obedient. And hundreds of years later that should still be the top drawer for us as per the teachings of our LORD and HIS Apostles. We also should have our faith full of expectancy for our LORD’s return. We are much much closer to our Lord’s return for HIS Church than they were. This is one of the powerful keys of God in helping us to be detached from this world. We brought nothing when we came, we take nothing when we leave except for what we have sent ahead. So the early Disciples were intent in focusing on putting on the mind of Christ and being like Yeshua, Jesus in this world to draw as many souls as possible into the Kingdom of God. A true Christian is not self centered, they are Christ Centered. 1 John 4:16-17 “And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him. In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.”

I was taught in my past church experiences that we aim at being like Jesus but that being like Jesus was Impossible. But as I read my Bible for myself, I find that word perfection of being perfected in Christ Jesus is the very thing that our Creator God sent Yeshua, Jesus to do. He came to pay the penalty for Adam’s Sin including us and give the opportunity for us to become “Perfected” in HIM. This leave no room at all for the carnal nature we were born with. But it is up to us as to what we do with it. Paul is very accurate in Rom. 8:13 about this, “For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.” Yeshua, Jesus also covered this very clearly in John 12:24-26, “ I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest. Anyone who loves his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. [Whoever has no love for, no concern for, no regard for his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and ever.] If anyone serves Me, he must continue to follow Me [[a]to cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying] and wherever I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.” This is what God means in HIS Truth giving us real FREEDOM. HE died to give us Life, Now we must die to our Adamic carnal self centered nature to live with HIM.

DISCIPLE OR CHURCH MEMBER ? “Worth Considering” 7/18/25

2 Cor 5:18-21 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

“All this is from God…” These words usher us into the breathtaking reality that salvation is not born of human effort, wisdom, or willpower — it is entirely the work of God. From beginning to end, it is His plan, His initiative, His unrelenting grace. Through Yeshua (Jesus), God stepped into our brokenness and reconciled us to Himself, repairing the relationship that sin had shattered. Reconciliation is not merely a theological concept — it is the restoration of intimacy with the Father. We did not ascend to Him in holiness; He descended to us in mercy. The Creator did not wait for us to find our way back. No, He came down through Yeshua, arms stretched wide in love, calling us home.

“…and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” These words shift the focus from what God has done for us to what He now desires to do through us. Reconciliation is not the end of the story—it is the beginning of a new calling. Those whom the love of God has restored are now commissioned to carry that same love to others. We are not passive recipients of grace; we are active participants in God’s redemptive mission. The healing we have received becomes the message we proclaim. Every believer, regardless of title or platform, is entrusted with this ministry—to be a bridge, a voice of hope, a vessel of truth and mercy to a world aching for peace. Reconciled people become reconcilers and is both our identity and our sacred responsibility.

“…God is reconciling the world to Himself in HIS Messiah, not counting their trespasses against them…” What staggering mercy this is—that the holy and righteous God, who has every right to judge, instead chooses to forgive. Through Yeshua, our debt has not just been reduced—it has been completely erased. The weight of guilt, the record of wrongs, the shame of our past—wiped clean by the blood of the Lamb. This is not a theory; though heart faith it’s a liberating reality. And now, we carry this message like fire in our bones: your sins are no longer counted against you. This is the heartbeat of the gospel—a glorious invitation to come home to a God who has already made the way.

“… We are ambassadors for Messiah.” You are not just a believer—you are an ambassador. An official representative of the King of Kings. God makes His appeal through us. When we speak the message of reconciliation, it is as if Messiah Himself is calling out through our voice: “Be reconciled to God!” Let this truth humble and embolden you. You are not alone in your witness—God speaks through your life.

“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us…” This is the heart of the gospel. Yeshua, utterly without sin, took on the entire weight and curse of our sin, not a fraction, but all of it. In exchange, we are given not merely forgiveness, but the righteousness of God Himself. This is not something we strive to earn—it is a new identity, received by faith. In Messiah, we are declared righteous.

And so now, as one whose blood Yeshua has reconciled, rise and take up your calling. The world is desperate for peace, for truth, for the hope that only comes through the Messiah. You are His voice, His hands, His ambassador. Don’t remain silent—plead with the lost, shine with His righteousness, and carry the message of reconciliation everywhere you go. Be bold. Be faithful. Be His Ambassador of Reconciliation! With Much Agape Love, George Baltimore

Ken’s Notes Here
In 1955 at age 22 the Holy Spirit finally got through to me with enough truth that I made Jesus LORD. Of course, at that time I had no idea of what a difficult road that would be to get the world, flesh and demons out of me. God can only fill and empty cup. Mine was full of junk at the time and some of it was deeply woven into my personality. But I stepped off in faith, who wants to go to hell? And with a few scriptures, (1 Cor.3:11-15) I started on the road of sanctification with the help of the Holy Spirit. Of course I had no idea of the difference of being a Jesus Disciple or being a Church Member. So I got lost in the maze of denominational churches which are full of vain traditions that make the “Word of God,” ineffective. That is why there is so little power of the Holy Spirit in what we call church today. Only the Truth given by Jesus can be confirmed by the power of our Heavenly Father. Power is the 2nd witness that makes the Truth Jesus gave us valid for faith and practice. So after 70 years of experience as a church Christian, I am going back through the teachings of Jesus for myself in seeking the true commandments of Jesus, the Holy Spirit and HIS apostles for the truth that sets us free in the power of the Almighty. Jesus said come, follow me and learn of me to be able to do what I do and even greater things as I go back to be with My Father. In making HIS disciples he spent 24/7 with men who were called of God to learn to be His disciples. No church membership, no building, no paid pastor, no theater seating. Just a pure relationship with fishermen who knew how to pray who were looking for the promised messiah. The Early Church followed that example over the first years and enjoyed great and mighty signs (Acts 2:37-47) confirming their approach to God. (In my book, “Keys To The Kingdom” I cover this if interested. It is a link on my web site.) The Church needs to be only built around Jesus, His Truth and His Freedom, ( John 3:8. )

We who have been born from above as the elect of God into the Kingdom of God would be well advised to get into the Word of God for ourselves. Most denominational theater church memberships try to teach what will make and keep a larger membership happy. So much of the membership may not even be saved, they only come because they like the club membership, music and nice message. But if you really get into the teachings of Jesus of needing to put on the mind of Christ and totally ingest HIM and totally kill off our carnal nature that we inherited from Adam, (Rom.8:13) many run for cover. (1 John 2:15-17 & 4:15-16.) So if you are serious about catching the flight to light speed you will need to sets your sights on being a Disciple of Jesus who is like HIM in all things. When Jesus comes for HIS Bride she will be a perfect match for her Lord & King. Certainly the “Elect” of God need escape the vain traditions and find each other, (John 17:20-26.)

LOVE, OBEDIENCE & POWER

Love, Obedience & Power, (The Way Home.) “WORTH CONSIDERING” 6/8/23

Ephesians 3:17-19 Amplified Bible. “So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, 18 be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; 19 and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].

In 1 John 4:8 we find, “The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.]

John 8:42-43 Amplified Bible “42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father [but He is not], you would love and recognize Me, for I came from God [out of His very presence] and have arrived here. For I have not even come on My own initiative [as self-appointed], but He [is the One who] sent Me. 43 Why do you misunderstand what I am saying? It is because [your spiritual ears are deaf and] you are unable to hear [the truth of] my word.”

I asked the Holy Spirit one time to give me a clear understanding of LOVE, The Holy Spirit said this to me. “Love is the highest good for the other person, regardless of your own personal cost.” And in the Amplified Bible there are 545 listings on what love means. Out of Love comes Obedience. Jesus taught in John 14:15, “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.” In John 15:10, “If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.” And in John 14:21, “The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him].” Do you really know the commandments of Jesus?

And Obedience is a very difficult word for us but is used 197 times in the Amplified Bible. In Hebrews 5:8-9 we find the words: “Although He was a Son [who had never been disobedient to the Father], He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect [uniquely equipped and prepared as Savior and retaining His integrity amid opposition], He became the source of eternal salvation [an eternal inheritance] to all those who obey Him,” Even more intrusive we find in Heb.13:17 the words, “Obey your [spiritual] leaders and submit to them [recognizing their authority over you], for they are keeping watch over your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare as those who will give an account [of their stewardship of you]. Let them do this with joy and not with grief and groans, for this would be of no benefit to you.

It then is up to us to find someone who can help you grow spiritually and ask them to assume a healthy and knowledgeable spiritual covering to help us to keep from making spiritual mistakes which can be very painful and often deadly. A Biblical Elder then is given of God then for our protection. I do try to have humility to listen to my many spiritual friends and brother elders but so far have not found a ministry center where I feel comfortable. And at my age it is difficult to get away from home. So here is a short list of what to watch for concerning evil advice. Eph.4:14 of 11-16. 1. seems detached from reality. 2. Biblical facts not in context. 3. Selective truth. 4. Lack of humility or remorse. 5. Avoids responsibility. 6. Superficial friendships. 7. Steals your time. 8. Double Life (hypocrisy). 9. Controlling. 10. High Self Esteem. Jesus teaches us to stay away from such friendships in Matt.18:15-17 (17. If he (they) pays no attention to them [refusing to listen and obey], tell it to the [a] church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile (unbeliever) and a tax collector. Matt. 10:33-35, “But the one who denies and rejects Me before men, that one I will also deny and reject before My Father who is in heaven. 34 Do not think that I have come to bring peace on the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword [of division between belief and unbelief]. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.” 1 Peter 3 is a wonderful chapter on how we are to relate to Godly authority for our protection. Children to parents, mother’s to fathers, fathers to Elders, Elders to the Holy Spirit, The Holy Spirit to Jesus and Jesus to the Almighty.

So out of saturating ourselves in God’s Love we then become very obedient in finding and obeying
HIS commandments and out of our true obedience will then begin the flow of God’s supernatural power to fix us and to help others find Jesus and be fixed as well. John 14:11-13. “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe [Me] because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed]. 12 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Lord (master) & Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name [ [a] as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. So we seriously need to dump all the “Vain (Prideful) traditions” that are not supported by Holy Scripture and butcher the religious sacred cows and get on with helping the Holy Spirit build a Jesus Church as per the example in the Book of Acts & New Testament.

“In this present spiritual climate, weeds have ample opportunity. The world is in such turmoil, the temptations so abundant, we need tremendous vigilance to pull up and clean out the useless thoughts, speculations, preoccupations, obsessions, and fears, which are multiplying like weeds! These will choke and starve the fruit of the Spirit. Cast out fear. Pull it up at the roots. Let love grow abundant and free. Excavate your doubts and wash them away with the water of the Word.” From: Worthy Brief <worthybrief@worthynetwork.com> 06/08/23 Also a condensed world news each day.”

BIBLICAL CHURCH

BIBLICAL CHURCH “WORTH CONSIDERING” 6/1/23

First off our concept of the church being a building or a denomination is false. There is but ONE Church of Christ Jesus as LORD and all who decide to Love, Honor and Obey Christ Jesus as Lord or Eternal Members. Jesus was very clear concerning God’s Truth and Obedience through Faith.

The word translated “church” in the English Bible is ekklesia. This word is the Greek words kaleo (to call), with the prefix ek (out). Thus, the word means “the called out ones.” So those who go to a certain building often calling the building, church. and often even, “Their Church.” Actually the Early Church met in homes, Col. 4:15, Acts 13:1 We seem to have changed from the forum of a house church to a theater style of gathering in order to be more comfortable. And we have used the gifts and offering for buildings and wages rather than for evangelism and helping the poor. https://www.smallgroups.com/articles/2008/how-to-start-house-church.html

However, in the New Testament the times mentioned that CHURCH was the people meeting at someone’s home. If too crowded then the gathering would split and use two homes but no where in the New Testament was a building built or a minister paid wages. Collections of gift and offering were directed towards evangelism and helping the poor. Tithing is not mentioned in the New Testament as all. As followers of Jesus became subject to the Holy Spirit they made JESUS LORD of all. And everyone had an open door to attend any of the house church gatherings as guided by the Holy Spirit. There was not a “Local Church” membership. The new Christian was to be like the wind of the Holy Spirit and to go where they found the best spiritual food for their need at the time. Like food you seek is what your body needs. There were larger gatherings for Apostolic, Prophetical and Evangelical gatherings which were attended by all of the house churches and guests.

In the Early Church there was the gifting of the fruit, gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit. The Early Church was very focused on new converts being water baptized as a witness of their death to this world and the resurrection of Christ Jesus in their life. Then concerned for the filling or baptizing in the Holy Spirit for power to do the work needed for the Kingdom of God. For 13 years I experienced a kind of a permissive membership and even taught against the power of God. Many are brought up in a religious club membership by only making Jesus Savior with little or no change in their lives. I was taught that the Book of Acts was a special history for the beginning of the Church and that with the death of the Apostles and the gathering of the Holy Bible that power was no longer available. It sounded OK at the time, but then many of the saints were sick a lot and some died early. In Gen 6:3, 120 healthy years was granted by God.. So I sort of wondered about that for a long time? But both Abraham and Moses were good examples of obedience for health and longevity. But seems we are subject to an obedience factor as to our life expectancy. Proverbs 18:21 Plus. Thess.

So the LORD’S Church gathered in homes and Paul carefully lays out what a New Testament gathering should be like in 1 Cor.14:26-40. And in Acts 2:41-43 it gives us what the Holy Spirit was up to in the beginning of the building of the Church (or Body) of Christ Jesus. So the Early church in the morning would go to the Temple or Synagogue to evangelize and to share about Jesus and invite, those interested in hearing more, to a “House Church” gathering for the sharing about what Jesus was doing at a time of testimony, then a teaching time and a good loving meal. Then the meeting might take a break and the believers would then come together for the “LORD’S Supper, General prayers and personal prayers and then the Powerful ministry of the Holy Spirit to heal and set free with the Elders including many signs and wonders. But our vain traditions have robbed us of this experience in making the Word of God, ineffective.

The house church had a pastor and/or teacher with apostles, prophet and evangelists being used by the Holy Spirit in mobile ministries. In a local area the deacons and elders would come together for a weekly gathering to keep the unity of the faith in the bond of peace and perhaps yearly a larger area would gather all of the Elders together for a conference of unity. But the Elders, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit were to guide the Church of Christ Jesus in a consensual unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17:20-26. The Church was never guided by a majority vote and there were no individual church memberships or denominations. There was only ONE church of Christ Jesus in the unity of the faith and the bond of peace as in Eph.4:11-16.

Jesus was/is a perfect balance of Love, Obedience and Power. Jesus was never permissive, sanctimonious or prideful in sharing God’s Power. Before HE left earth HE taught us that we could be like HIM. He said, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as LORD] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12, 1 John 4:17. So why is this not happening today? Because we are not following God’s Truth as given by Jesus and HIS Apostles for us to follow. We have grown up following some of the vain (prideful ego centered) traditions of men and we have been badly trained. Church was meant to be a family gathering in unity (1 Cor.14:26-40) where the pastor knows the flock and the flock really knows their shepherd. It is to be a family for finding and training disciples who are called of the Holy Spirit to be members and leaders in the Jesus Church. But we find ourselves in a Religious Theater where all is usually set out in a printed bulletin leaving the Holy Spirit very little , if any, room for the wind of the Spirit as in John 3:8. I enjoyed a service one time where Robert Fitts Jr. was leading worship and began to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit like a Holy Rain and even started crying as God’s loving presence was so close. And then a ministers stood up and said well folks it is time for the offering, announcements and message. A cry went up in me!!! “Thou shalt not eclipse the Glory of thy God,” and it was like thunder… I believe it was the Holy Spirit. With a Saturday evening gathering with an agape meal the Early Church would have the whole evening and stay as long as they wanted to. With a Sunday morning gathering we are mostly looking at our watches wanting to go to lunch. We need to go back to the Saturday evening time of gathering so that there is no concern as to the time. Where we can stay or leave at any time. Often as a hippie minister it would be about midnight before a meeting would close in the Holy Spirit. And a few went on to about 3 in the morning with the Holy Spirit moving in power.

It is not like we need to tear anything down but we do need to make some serious changes in direction. This paper is a compressed work sheet and incomplete. So I am looking for corrections to become more guided by scripture and the Holy Spirit as we come together in John 17:20-26.

BACK TO BASICS

BACK TO BASICS “WORTH CONSIDERING” 5/30/23

There is a small word “IF” that is mostly overlooked when reading or studying the Bible. But it is a profound word that reminds us always of having free will. Our Creator God is not interested in creating robots but a family who chooses to love, honor and obey HIM out of love and understanding in humility. In Rom. 8:13-14. Apostle Paul shares with us: “ For ”IF”you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But “IF”[you are living] by the power of the Holy Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. 14 For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” For me it would seem that free will is very active here ?

According to Holy Scripture we were created with an eternal soul but in a temporary body so the question is really, Will we qualify for a new eternal body when we stand before Jesus at the time of judgment? As without a body, a soul is in complete and absolute darkness, Jude 13

One time I took a long vacation with my family. An RV dealer asked me to pick up an RV in Southbend and bring it to Portland and enjoy a good vacation. So went up to Woodstock to see some good friend, then to New York to meet some other friend then to Kentucky where I was born and to New Orleans and Los Angeles and then up to Portland. My constant buddy was a Road Map. As with a brand new 27 foot RV, I did not want to miss a turn and have to back up for anything.

So in life we have roads going in all directions and God’s Prophets have been sent to help show us the way home. So we need to learn to have faith in HIS road map and with a commitment to head for our creator as our LORD (boss, master, creator.) Jesus told us, salvation is a process in Matt. 24:13-14, “Because lawlessness is increased, the love of most people will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved. 14 This good news of the kingdom [the gospel] will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end [of the age] will come. It does appear we are close to the “End of this Age.” So are we really ready for the jump to light speed? Matt.25.

Basics, Starting Point:

1. With deep faith our Creator God seeks us to accept HIS salvation provided in Christ Jesus and to make HIM our LORD so that HE also become our savior, Isa. 53, Rom.10:9-10

2. As a public witness of your commitment to also be baptized in water showing your willingness to die to this world in expectation of an eternal resurrection in the next.

3. To seek the Heavenly Father for the empowering of the Holy Spirit so as to effectively be able to follow Jesus in Love, Holiness & Power. Luke 11:13, Acts 8:14-15, Acts 19:2,

Jesus came to save, seal and empower as LORD, “IF” we will invite HIM and allow HIM to do so in our lives? Please take time to look up the verses as your eternal life depends upon God’s Truth.

As per Jesus in John 17 and Paul in 1 Cor 12, we learn to come into unity like the body we live in. If a cell in our body goes rogue in doing it’s own thing, we call it cancer and try to kill it. The Early Church did just that (Matt. 18:15-18) but we tend to be more loving and permissive so we let the cancer stay even if we find the cancer growing. Therefore there are very few who experience Matt. 18:18-20 and find themselves in 2 Tim.3:5 and what we call church today is nearly powerless.

The Early church on Saturday mornings would go where people gathered to evangelize and invite those they felt were interested and perhaps God’s Elect to an evening HouseChurch gathering. Large gatherings were good for Apostles, Prophets and Evangelist ministries to share the vision, truth and invitation. But the HouseChurch was the power house for making disciples if with a good shepherd and/or teacher. So for a New Testament Church to be effective both opportunities need to be in action, Eph.4:11-16.

Also there is only eternal membership of the ONE Church of Christ Jesus that is effective. That is composed of those who Love, Honor and Obey Jesus as LORD. All local memberships or denominations (John 17) tend to cause division and box the members in who were created to be like the wind, John 3:8., 1 John 4:17. A Jesus Church is to be ruled by the Elders who are guided by the Holy Spirit in consensual unity, Acts 15. If there is a lack of unity then a time for prayer and loving discussion is needed. There is no direction in the New Testament for the building of buildings for ministry. And there is no support for Old Testament tithing as God has called Christians to lay all that they have and all that they are before Christ Jesus as LORD. And for the Holy Spirit to guide each as to what to do with what they have without limitations or the letter of the law. We only get to keep what we send ahead in of our love for Christ Jesus as our LORD.

The theater style of gathering works well for Apostolic, Prophetical and Evangelist gatherings but is a total failure for the House Church of 1 Cor. 14:26-40. This gathering need to take the shape of a forum or round table where everyone has freedom to participate and be affirmed if they have a ministry in the Holy Spirit. First should come the fruit of the Holy Spirit, then the gifts of the Holy Spirit and then the Ministries of the Holy Spirit and all this needs to be active and open to all so that the Holy Spirit can perfect the saints, Eph.4:11-16. It is a forum and not to be a theater. This is very important to consider and we have many who are called into the ministry of the LORD polishing pews on Sunday mornings all boxed in and watching their watch every 5 minutes looking for lunch. The Early Church was so exciting that it might go on until 3 in the morning. We are told what they did in Acts 2:37-47, basically they went through the tabernacle of Moses in 7 steps. 1. the witness and testimony of Jesus. 2. The Truth of God. 3. An Agape fellowship meal. 4. The Lord’s Supper. 5. General Prayers, 6.Individual Prayers, 7. Supernatural Ministry. Not that this is a law but area’s of need and concern for the Holy Sprite to direct in the building of HIS Church. As people don’t read very much any more this it is mostly a summery for further study if interested in seeing an Acts 5:16 church come alive again. Our vain traditions have placed most of us in 2 Tim. 3:5.

WIND WALKING

WIND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT “WORTH CONSIDERING” 5/23/23

IN CONSIDERING, JOHN 3:8, we are told to become like the wind of the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus but most find themselves directed to the comfort zones of boxes of vain traditions in religious divisions called denominations all proclaiming that they are the CHURCH of Christ Jesus. Yet in few to none of them do we find an active Acts 5:16 ministry as started by the Holy Spirit or the experience of Mark 16.26 that our LORD Jesus told us to expect.. So today in replacement of the wind of the Holy Spirit, which can not be boxed, we find so many “Sacred Cows” or as Jesus called them “Vain (Prideful) traditions which have made the “Word of God” ineffective. (Mark 7:13, Matt.15:6) So seems the Holy Spirit has me presently working on these issues. And how do we return to being the Real Church of Christ Jesus in Love, Holiness & Power?

Sunday Morning Church: (Sacred Cow) We come together to sing, pray, listen and pay and it is called “Church” And we even call it the New Testament Sabbath? As for the Sabbath, the Sabbath was made for man to learn to walk in the Holy SPIRIT of God. As per Heb.4:1-14 and Rom.14:4-6. the Jews never came to know the meaning of the Sabbath and never kept it. As Jesus is the LORD of the Sabbath I should only seek to follow His example and do what the Holy Spirit wants me to do 24/7 including the Sabbath. So if the Holy Spirit wants me to take a day off to rest, I should do it and not wait for the Sabbath. Though Jesus kept the Sabbath according to Moses so as to not violate the “LAW” He also came to us free from the LAW of Sin & Death. Jesus was always in trouble with the Jews for not keeping their Sabbath traditions. One of the main factors that caused HIM to be murdered. Of course HE came to set us all free from the “LAW” of sin and death as the letter of the law kills, it is the Spirit that gives life,

John 3:8. Jesus came to help us become Wind Walkers like HIM. You can not put a wind in a box. We are taught of Jesus that GOD’S TRUTH would set us free. But there is little to no freedom in a box. The example of a New Testament Church in 1 Cor.14:26-33 Can not be done in a box? Look it up, Paul taught us how to be CHURCH. Most of our experiences today are so full of vain traditions that they make the Word of God, ineffective, 2 Tim.3:5, Romans 15:5-6

The Early Church met on what was their 1st day of the week which was Saturday evening at sunset as it was the only free night of their 6 day work week of 12 hr. work days. So the Early Church members would go to the Temple on Sat. morning to evangelize about Jesus and encourage folks to come and experience a House Church gathering as they found those seeking more of God’s light. There is about 11 such gatherings mentioned in our New Testament and it was mostly the Church of Jesus at someone’s home. I have not found any place that Jesus commanded HIS Church to specifically keep the Sabbath. Also the same for tithing or building buildings, paying ministers or even a church membership. Church membership only causes division and boxes the saints into a division of which Jesus prayed against in John 17:20-26. Jesus told us that divisions could cancel the Power of God so we need to return to only seeking and confirming HIS Truth. His Power can only certify HIS Loving Holiness in only HIS Truth. When we try to get HIS Power to certify our vain traditions for our own glory in place of HIS it come to nothing but words. Insanity has a definition of doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result. We do this every Sunday morning all over the world and are told by the Elders that being powerless is OK in a whole lot of ways and with many excuses.

If you are really interested in this subject let me direct you to a book the LORD had me write over 20 years ago, “Keys To The Kingdom” A free read: www.OhanaChurch.Life and to the homepage go to the links at the bottom and click onto, “Keys To The Kingdom” hope you enjoy.Basically I am still on track with the Book now at 90 but would like to do some minor changing and editing.

So God’s Truth Is:
There is but ONE CHURCH of Christ Jesus as LORD on planet earth and all divisions are a product of “Vain (Prideful) Traditions and minor kingdom building for the glory of man. Read John 17 over again, find me one place in this beautiful prayer that allows for a division over anything. The Early Church Elders taught, “In essentials, UNITY; In all else LOVE… If we are mature in LOVE we will have a respect for God’s Truth and can discuss a point of difference until both sides find the Loving Unity in God’s Truth regardless of where the Scriptures take us. WE need to be about God’s Loving Truth in Unity if we want to enjoy HIS Power. John 17:20-26

“I do not pray for these alone [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for [all] those who [will ever] believe and trust in Me through their message, 21 that they all may be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe [without any doubt] that You sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory (power) and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given to Me [as Your gift to Me], may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 “O just and righteous Father, although the world has not known You and has never acknowledged You [and the revelation of Your mercy], yet I have always known You; and these [believers] know [without any doubt] that You sent Me; 26 and I have made Your name known to them, and will continue to make it known, so that the love with which You have loved Me may be in them [overwhelming their heart], and I [may be] in them.”

So in my little book, “Keys To The Kingdom” I hope you come to understand what the True Church of Christ Jesus is supposed to look and be like and get the vision for it and if you can not find a gathering in which to enjoy the wind of the Holy Spirit, start one. There are so many Vain (Prideful) traditions (Sacred Cows) that need to be slaughtered. God will only confirm HIS TRUTH with HIS POWER, No power, there are vain traditions: 2 Tim.3:5. As for me, after all of these years of playing church I want to find and enjoy the real one. Without HIS Power how can the world really know that HE came or sent us? John 17:20-26, Mark 16.

CONFESSION / FAITH

CONFESSION / FAITH WORTH CONSIDERING 5/15/23

OUR CREATOR GOD, wants to teach us how to walk in faith.

In a film I remember the lines of a Senator saying, “The Truth is what I say it is.” Of course he was the bad guy in the flick and was lying and in the end, reaped what he sowed.

I am reminded of a testimony that a man, don’t remember his name but let’s call him George, shared with me in about 1965. I was attending an old time “brush harbor camp meeting” for the weekend with my family. I was curious about healing, so I asks this George, who seemed spiritual about it. He told me that he use to have rheumatoid arthritis so bad that only the comfortable thing he could do was to drive. Gas was then very inexpensive and he spent a lot of time just driving as the vibration made his condition less painful. And as a Christian, George would stop from time to time and read his Bible. One day in reading James he came across the verse that says: “If there be any sick among you, let them call for the Elders, Let them be anointed with oil and the prayer of faith shall heal the sick.” George thought to himself, I have never done that. So he went from church to church, hobbling up to the pastor/elder and asking for the anointing and prayer. But all he got way unbelief & rejection until one day on the wrong side of the tracks in Texas he saw a Mission sign on a very small home in the wrong side of the road. So he stopped and hobble up to the door and ask the young man for his elder. The young man said, I am the only one here so guess that’s me?

Then he explained and quoted the scripture and ask him for an anointing and prayer. The young man said the Bible is always right but I have never done this before and I don’t know anything about the oil. So George said, got Wesson Oil, the young man said sure. So George said. “ Only says oil not what kind, can we use that.” The young elder was so nervous that he nearly poured the whole bottle on George and prayed for him so all done according to the Word of God. but nothing happened.. But George felt that he had done what he was ask to do and that he was healed as in Heb.11. So he went home confessing to everyone that he had been healed, his family was about to have him locked up. But about the 3rd night home as dressing for dinner in his shorts in front of the mirror over the Chester Drawers George told me that he felt like lightening landed on his head and went through him to his feet and as it lifted he could hear his bones cracking and his feet went down flat to the floor and his hands became normal. And he showed me his hands and all looked really good to me. Then he ask me to promise that I would not tell anyone as his family church did not believe in such things. Is this story true, and I believe it is, we may be missing out on a lot of what God wants and can do through Christ Jesus as our Lord.

Lately I have been going through some congestion and pain due to pancreatitis & gall stones. And the Holy Spirit started sharing with me this morning that my confession needs to line up with the Word of God with a loving heart of faith if I really want God’s help and HIS freedom. Instead of trying to be, what I feel is honest. I really need to start confessing what God says in the Word of God is the Truth as God shares it and not what I feel about it. So let’s look at what Jesus taught us. (But some prayer on your part, would be most helpful.)

Matt 17:19-20: “Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why could we not drive it out?” (A demon ) 20 He answered, “Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you, [a] if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Jesus used this moment to emphasize to the disciples that a person’s confident, abiding faith combined with God’s power can produce absolutely amazing results, if the request is in harmony with God’s will. God is fully capable of doing that which man regards as impossible. ( Rom.8:37, Matt.16:24, 21:21, 25:21.)

Phil. 4:12, “I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

Mark 6:5, “And He could not do a miracle there at all [because of their unbelief] except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed.”

Matt. 8:9-11, “For I also am a man subject to authority [of a higher rank], with soldiers subject to me; and I say to one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” 10 When Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those who were following Him, “I tell you truthfully, I have not found such great faith [as this] with anyone in Israel. 11 I say to you that many [Gentiles] will come from east and west, and will sit down [to feast at the table, and enjoy God’s promises] with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven [because they accepted Me as Lord & Savior],”

Heb. 11:1-6, “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. 2 For by this [kind of] faith the [a]men of old gained [divine] approval. 3 By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which it was testified of him that he was righteous (upright, in right standing with God), and God testified by accepting his gifts. And though he died, yet through [this act of] faith he still speaks. 5 By faith [that pleased God] Enoch was caught up and taken to heaven so that he would not have a glimpse of death; and he was not found because God had taken him; for even before he was taken [to heaven], he received the testimony [still on record] that he had walked with God and pleased Him. 6 But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

2 Tim 1:7, “ For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].“ (Fear is Faith going backwards.)

Almost 600 scriptures in the Holy Bible, it would seem that God really want’s us to learn about faith.

FRUIT, GIFTS & MINISTRIES

FRUIT, GIFTS & MINISTRIES “WORTH CONSIDERING” 5/10/23
Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things the Lord hates; Indeed, seven are repulsive to Him: A proud look [the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others], a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that creates wicked plans, Feet that run swiftly to evil, A false witness who breathes out lies [even half-truths], And one who spreads discord (rumors) among brothers.

UNITY FACTOR: John 17:22 I have given to them the glory (POWER) and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given to Me [as Your gift to Me], may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”
.
FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: Galatians 5:22-23, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), gentleness (kindness), goodness, (generosity, gentleness) faith, Meekness (modesty), temperance (self control, chastity): against such there is no law. A mature Christian will become like Jesus. “ In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: 1 Corinthians 12: 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

MINISTRIES OF THE SPIRIT: “ Now there are [distinctive] varieties of spiritual gifts [special abilities given by the grace and extraordinary power of the Holy Spirit operating in believers], but it is the same Spirit [who grants them and empowers believers]. 5 And there are [distinctive] varieties of ministries and service, but it is the same Lord [who is served]. 6 And there are [distinctive] ways of working [to accomplish things], but it is the same God who produces all things in all believers [inspiring, energizing, and empowering them].” 1 Cor.12:4-6.

DEACONS & ELDERS. Rom.12:1-13
[a] Therefore I urge you, [b] brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [c]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. 3 For by the grace [of God] given to me I say to everyone of you not to think more highly of himself [and of his importance and ability] than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith [and a purpose designed for service]. 4 For just as in one [physical] body we have many parts, and these parts do not all have the same function or special use, 5 so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other]. 6 Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them accordingly: if [someone has the gift of] prophecy, [let him speak a new message from God to His people] in proportion to the faith possessed; 7 if service, in the act of serving; or he who teaches, in the act of teaching; 8 or he who encourages, in the act of encouragement; he who gives, with generosity; he who leads, [d] with diligence; he who shows mercy [in caring for others], with cheerfulness. 9 Love is to be sincere and active [the real thing—without guile and hypocrisy]. Hate what is evil [detest all ungodliness, do not tolerate wickedness]; hold on tightly to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor; 11 never lagging behind in diligence; aglow in the Spirit, enthusiastically serving the Lord; 12 constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength], 13 contributing to the needs of God’s people, pursuing [the practice of] hospitality.

DEACONS: “ Now about this time, when the number of disciples was increasing, a complaint was made by the [a]Hellenists (Greek-speaking Jews) against the [[b] native] Hebrews, because their widows were being overlooked in the daily serving of food. 2 So the [c] Twelve called the disciples together and said, “It is not appropriate for us to neglect [teaching] the word of God in order to serve tables and manage the distribution of food. 3 Therefore, brothers, choose from among you seven men with good reputations [men of godly character and moral integrity], full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task. 4 But we will [continue to] devote ourselves [steadfastly] to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” 5 The suggestion pleased the whole congregation; and they selected [d] Stephen, a man full of faith [in Christ Jesus], and [filled with and led by] the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas (Nikolaos), a proselyte (Gentile convert) from Antioch. 6 They brought these men before the apostles; and after praying, they laid their hands on them [to dedicate and commission them for this service]. 7 And the message of God kept on growing and spreading, and the number of disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem; and a large number of the priests were becoming obedient to the faith [accepting Jesus as Messiah and acknowledging Him as the Source of eternal salvation].” Acts.6:1-7.

ELDERS: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying (building) of itself in love. Eph.4:11-16.

So out of Love & Holiness in God’s Truth comes Ministry & Power to do the will of God on earth.
