KIDNAPPED

KIDNAPPED         “Worth Considering”                       11/14/25
Originally, we were all created in Adam as the Children of God, Gen. 1:26.  And then while in Adam we were kidnapped by lucifer as the covering cherub of this solar system.  But our Creator God sent Jesus to set us free, free to return to our Father’s family and as heirs.
Romans 8:15-17  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of restoration by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”  16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,  17  and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, due to the infection we receive from Adam, that we may also be glorified together.  We must absorb by faith the Power given by Jesus to kill off the infection we received from Adam of pride and rebellion.
Our heart longs to know where we truly belong. Deep within every human soul is the question of identity — Who am I? Where do I come from? It’s why, when someone is adopted in the natural, they often spend years searching for their biological parents. There’s an ache to know their true origin, a longing to connect the story of their beginning with their present. And until that longing is resolved, there is often a sense of incompleteness, a struggle to move forward — because to understand where we are going, we must first know where we came from.
Spiritually, humanity lives with that same ache. Sin severed our relationship with our Heavenly Father, leaving us running away like orphans — searching for belonging, identity for family love,  in a broken world. We chased affirmation in achievements, relationships, and recognition, but nothing could quiet that orphan spirit that longed for our Father’s embrace and home.
Then came the miracle of restoration — the moment heaven’s plan was revealed through Yeshua (Jesus), who came not only to save us from sin but to bring us home. Paul wrote that “you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of restoration where we cry out, ‘Abba, (Daddy, Papa) Father.’ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the very children of God, and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with our brother and Messiah” (Romans 8:15–17).
Through Yeshua, the Father restores what pride and rebellion has fractured. We are no longer slaves to fear nor orphans searching for belonging — we have been restored into the family of God, fully accepted, fully loved, and fully known. Restoration in the kingdom is not second-best — it is God’s highest expression of family love and inclusion. In the ancient world, restored children received the same rights, inheritance, and authority as heirs — and so it is in Yeshua.
When you came to faith in Yeshua, you didn’t just receive forgiveness — you received family. The Father didn’t just pardon you; He claimed you as His own. You were not merely rescued from sin; you were brought into His household with full rights of inheritance. Heaven has signed your restoration papers in the blood of the Lamb. You now carry His name, bear His likeness, and share in His inheritance,  1 John 4:16-17.
And just as many who are adopted long to know their true parents, so too every believer must come to know their Heavenly Father — not just as Creator, but as Abba or Daddy. Until you truly see yourself as His child, you will live like an orphan — striving for love instead of resting in it, performing for acceptance instead of living from it. But once the revelation of His fatherhood grips your heart, everything changes.
You begin to walk not as one trying to earn love, but as one already loved. You stop striving for identity and start living from it. The abandoned orphan spirit loses its grip because the Father’s voice silences every lie, declaring over you: “You are My beloved child; you are Mine.”
Heaven knows your name. The Father Himself, in His foreknowledge, has chosen you, restord you, and sealed your inheritance with His Spirit — an inheritance that can never fade or be taken away. You were never meant to wander through life searching for belonging; you were created to dwell in His house, to rest in His embrace, and to live from the security of His love. So stop searching for identity in the shadows of this world — the One who formed you has already found you. Let the Spirit of God rise within you until every trace of that spirit of pride and rebellion is silenced.  You are no longer an orphan or a stranger — you are family. An heir of God and co-heir with the Messiah, chosen, beloved, and forever His. In Him, you’you’ve found where you came from and discovered where you are going!
Your family in the Lord with much agape love,  George Baltimore and Ken Smith
Ken Here: When I received this note from George last week, it got me thinking about the word adoption so I looked it up in the Greek and it could also mean restoration.  There is a lot of difference in the feelings of being adopted or restored.  Adopted always carries the feeling of rejection.  That for what ever reason there is no return to the original foot print. That some how, you are just glued on for good or bad.   Restoration has a totally different feeling, one of being back where you belong.  That feeling of being home.  That even if some things are out of place, it can be fixed.  I enjoyed feeling that feeling this week.  To accept that Jesus came to bring me home.  That I had been kidnapped and taken to a foreign country but now was free in Jesus to find my way home.  This sort of changed a lot of things in my heart of hearts.  More of an interest in what I am here to learn and how to use it for my family in Christ Jesus. My ransom was paid, I am now free to walk out my new freedom and loving family membership without fear.   I hope that this note gives you the same sense of freedom that I now feel.  With a new focus on how to bring others into my eternal family in Christ Jesus.  Yes , Jesus is still LORD and my older brother.  But now it somehow feels different,  like my family, not just His family.  And we are working together for the Glory of our Creator and Heavenly Father, Abba Father, Papa or Daddy.  The world is going crazy, but our issue is to help find our the rest of our family so we can all go home and dump the craziness we find around us.  It is only going to exist as long as our Heavenly Father can use it to help us grow stronger, spiritually.  It supplies the resistance to help us grow spiritually strong.  So empty your cup, be filled with the Holy Spirit and let make a fire where the lost can get warm, dry and also catch on fire in Jesus, with us.
Yours, in our Abba Father’s everlasting love, Ken <>< www.Trinity-Aloha.org
